Silly Songs with Luna is inspired by Silly Songs with Larry, a filler in Veggietales.
Luna has become famous all over Equestria for her Silly Songs, including hits such as "The Fun Has Been Doubled" and "Where Have All The Elements Gone?". She often has guest singers from many parts of Equestria, for instance Princess Twilight Sparkle, Scootaloo, and the Princess of the Sun- Princess Celestia. What will happen when Celestia gets tired of Luna's Silly Songs and tells her to stop being so silly? Hilarity shall ensue, food will be thrown, and songs shall be sung.
Night has been brought upon Equestria, stars shining in the navy blue sky. Luna arranged herself on her throne, playing with a rubber duck. Her azure mane flowed, the stars arranged in constellations. Surrounding her, the Night Guard stood watch over their princess, allowing themselves the occasional smile as Luna played with her favorite toy. "And... ACTION!" "And now it's time for Silly Songs with Luna- the part of the show where Luna comes out and sings us a silly song. Today we join Luna in her throne room for The Fun Has Been Doubled!" Music began to play as another rubber duck appeared. Luna grabbed it and squeezed it.
"Huzzah! The fun has been doubled!!" The fun has been doubled The fun has been doubled The fun (8x) The fun Fun Fun Has been doubled
Luna held up both rubber ducks as the song ended
"And we're clear! Nice job!" "We are satisfied."
Luna sailed down, holding both ducks in her hooves.
"Also, We shall be keeping these ducks. They entertain Us. Do any of thee find issue in Us doing this?" "Nope... you're the princess. We do what you want." "Indeed... well We wish to be alone now. Thou art dismissed." "LUNA...!!!" "Oh! Celestia what bringeth you to Us at this time of night?"
Celestia facehooved as she saw the ducks. She walked up to Luna, the recording team evacuating the throne room, not interested in getting involved in another Celestia/ Luna battle. Even the Night Guard, usually fearless, took a few steps back when they saw the look in Celestia's eyes.
"Did you just sing another silly song?" "Yes. Yes We did." "What have I said about those silly songs?!?" "That thou enjoy them." "No- that isn't what I said! I told you that they're too silly for a princess to be singing!" "We must disagree. These songs contain the perfect amount of silliness for Us to be singing."
Celestia shook her head and smiled wistfully at her younger sister.
"Next week We shall be singing about the Elements of Harmony!! The song shall be called 'Where Have All the Elements Gone?'!" "... Can't wait, Luna." "Then perchance thou would like Us to sing a preview for thee?" "No! I mean... No thanks, Luna."
Luna gave Celestia a glare, which Celestia returned with a sheepish grin.
"Suit thyself." "I will."
Luna gave Celestia a small scowl.
"We wish to sing Our song." "Not while I'm here" "Then thou may leave Us" "I don't feel like it. I actually think I'm going to stay with you here." "Dost thou not have to raise the sun later?" "The sun can wait, Luna." "Then the night... shall last slightly longer than usual!" "Whatever you say."
Luna settled down with her ducks, making them quack at each other. Celestia made another duck appear and held it in front of Luna's face.
"Quack!" "Is this... yes... OURS!!"
Luna snatched the duck from Celestia's hooves and squeezed it magically. She giggled and held it over her.
"The perfect duck... It belongs to Us! Huzzah!!"
Where Have All The Elements Gone? and The Song of the Moon
Silly Songs with Luna is brought to you by the Night.
"And now it's time for Silly Songs with Luna- the part of the show where Luna comes out and sings a Silly Song. We find Luna in her room, reading a scroll. It is an archive scroll about Discord's attack on Ponyville. Luna looks up from the scroll and begins to sing."
Where have all the Elements gone? What happened to our Harmony? Twilight has lost the Magic And Rarity Generosity Where have all the Elements gone? We blame you, Discord! Now Equestria's very doomed Unless the Magic of Friendship can save us
Luna continued to sing a song about the Elements of Harmony, lifting a hoof dramatically. As she finished the song, she lifted both front hooves and shook them in the air.
"This has been Silly Songs with Luna. Tune in next week for 'The Song of The Moon'." "And we are CLEAR!"
Luna sat down again, relaxing after a rather silly Silly Song. She giggled, remembering next week's song.
"So what is this about "The Song of the Moon?" "The song writer thought that it would suit you well." "It seems... hilarious." "I'm glad you feel that way, Princess Luna. These are silly songs, after all. If the Princess of the Night finds them hilarious, well then we're doing our job aren't we?" "Indeed."
A few days later, Scootaloo, Princess Twilight Sparkle, and Apple Bloom answered Princess Luna's summons and gathered at the entrance of the Canterlot Castle. "Are y'all sure we're supposed to meet Princess Luna today?" "Yeah... Were we really supposed to meet Princess Luna today, Twilight?" "Of course, girls. She sent me a summons and asked me to bring two fillies, so I thought you two would like to come along."
At that moment, Luna came out yawning. Her normally flowing hair was very frizzy and poofy, and Luna was wearing light blue pajamas with a moon pattern.
"Curse these radio show people... Oh! You made it... come in."
Twilight and Scootaloo entered, Apple Bloom hesitating momentarily.
"Um... Were you sleeping, Princess Luna?" "No." "... Oh. Okay."
Apple Bloom rushed in behind Twilight and Scootaloo, following Luna to an observatory. Once the four of them enter, the eyes of both fillies widened to rival the size of the moon they were about to sing about.
"Wow... it's so..." "Gigantic!!" "Yeah... that."
Ponies buzzed around them, getting equipment prepared for the radio show.
"Princess Luna, let's get started!" "Indeed."
Twilight, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom had practiced the few words to the song that they were singing all they way here, so once the music started, they assumed their positions.

Suddenly, Celestia burst through the doors, her eyes red and her hair poofy. She stifled a large yawn before shouting.
"LUNA!!!!!!" "Good evening, sister. We are recording a new song- would you like to join us?" "No!! Stop! Being! So! SILLY!"
Luna gasped.
"You dare challenge my silliness?!? You have declared war with this statement, Celestia!!"

Escape! Twilight, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom- Take One
"LUNA!!!!!!" "Good evening, sister. We are recording a new song- would you like to join us?" "No!! Stop! Being! So! SILLY!" Luna gasped. "You dare challenge my silliness?!? You have declared war with this statement, Celestia!!"
Twilight, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom gathered together and silently slip out of the observatory, following the oldest of them to her old room in the castle. Twilight herds them inside and bolts the door, securing themselves inside. She turns to the two fillies with a rather panicked grimace, not exactly reassuring the fillies.
"We may want to get out of here as soon as possible. Last time this happened... the castle... cake... everywhere!!"
Twilight's left eye twitched, remembering the Cake Fight of Canterlot that occured one and a half years ago. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom stared at her, slightly frightened now. Scootaloo spoke up.
"So... how do we get out of here?" "... The window?" "Twilight, how are we going to get out through the window? It's like a thousand feet down from here." "I have no idea."
Scootaloo and Apple Bloom collectively facehoofed, groaning at the purple ball of nerves in front of them as she began to spasm. Apple Bloom spoke up.
"Um, hello? Twilight, how are we going to get out of here again?" "Yes... I suppose... I guess I can teleport us out of here... but it'll use a lot of magic..." "JUST DO IT!!!"
Twilight stepped back slightly, a bit shocked at the response of the fillies.
"Okay, okay... Let's begin."
Twilight raised her horn, charging up her magic. In a flash, the trio was teleported... into the middle of the the observatory. Twilight started to spasm and fainted on the spot upon seeing all the...cake and pie splattered along the walls. Already a touch out of her mind, Twilight spoke with a half- grimace half- grin on her face.
The two princesses were busy making pies and cakes appear to throw at each other, a bit too embroiled in their battle to notice Twilight and the other two. Luna made a wedding cake appear and sent it flying at Celestia.
"Take that, monster!"
Celestia, already covered in pie, narrowly avoided the large blue wedding cake. She generated a pie and magically flung it at Luna, covering the Princess of the Night in cherry filling. Luna flung some off of her face and threw it back at Celestia, making sure it landed on her shining white coat. Celestia screamed.
"You MONSTER! You dare stain my coat with... CHERRY?!?" "Arguably, you made the pie." "Um... Hi?Luna? Celestia?" "Exactly! You turned my own pie... against me!"
Luna stuck her tongue out at her infuriated elder sister.
"You insulted me." "I only told you to stop being so silly..." "You insult me again!" "You're too silly to be a princess like this!!" "You know what? CEBU." "Ce-what?" "Cebu. It's kinda like a cow. But it's a cebu." "Are you calling me a cebu, Luna?" "... Maybe..."
Celestia stopped for a moment and stared at her little sister. The celestial goddesses stared at each other, unaware of the battle taking place in the sky above of Canterlot Castle.
Until a guard had to come in.
"Princess Celestia! Princess Luna! Trouble in the sky!"
The two sisters looked at each other before looking at the guard.
"What kind of trouble?" "The sun and moon are battling!" "Battling?!? You don't mean... GAH."
Three princess ran outside, being followed close behind by two Cutie Mark Crusaders. The fillies looked at each other, then looked at the sky, then back at each other. Then they looked at the princesses, tails on end. Just as the guard said, the sun and moon were indeed battling each other in the night... day... twilight... sky.
"What kind of trouble?" "The sun and moon are battling!" "Battling?!? You don't mean... GAH."
Scootaloo and Apple Bloom hid their faces in their hooves, shaking their heads. Twilight's eye twitch came back stronger than ever, and she fainted with a loud thud.
"Twilight!" "We've gotta get her some help!"
The two fillies dashed forward to rescue the Element of Magic, and dragged her away using every drop of energy in their bodies. They got Twilight far enough that a guard was able to levitate her now. Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked at each other, panting.
"We... coulda... used... Sis..." "Yeah..."
Exhausted, the fillies staggered into the castle, finding a comfortable corner to fall asleep in. Outside, the two Royal sisters tried to calm their respective celestial body, Celestia trying to lower the sun, while Luna attempted to steady the moon. Of course, since both princesses had quite a bit of fight in their hearts, the celestial bodies grew more aggressive with each other, fighting more and more as moments passed.
"We blame thee for this." "How is this my fault?!?" "If you had not told Us to stop being so silly, We would not have fought thee. So tis your fault." "You were being too silly." "Tis a lie!"
Celestia groaned inwardly. There was often times no arguing with her sister, and this was one of those many times. At that moment, her eyes glittered and she turned to her sister.
"It is true. You are far too silly. Why do you insist on this, Luna?" "Because... the fun been doubled."
Celestia's eyes grew wide, surprised at Luna's stubborness. She frowned.
"That's it! AAAAAAAHHH!!!"
Celestia raced at her younger sister, tackling her. Luna fell over, causing the sun and moon to fall out of sight, leaving Equestria in darkness.
"Art thou a fool, sister? Do thou wish for the ponies to never see light again?" "I'll fix it... Once you promise to stop being so silly!" "Never."
Inside the castle, Twilight had just woken up, only calm for a few nanoseconds at most. In moments, she was back to something that can only be described as being electrocuted. Her mane stood on end, her tail became frizzier than Pinkie Pie's, and her irises constricted, leaving only a small circle of violet around her rapidly constricting irises.
"Luna... Celestia... fighting! Sky fight..." "Calm down please, Princess Twilight. You need your rest." "Fillies... save fillies..." "Princess, the two fillies are the ones who saved you in the first place." "Apple Bloom... Scoots..."
In a corner of Canterlot Castle, two fillies awoke, rather sore from sleeping on marble. After stretching, they looked at each other, quickly forming a plan.
"Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Apple Bloom?" "It depends on what you're thinking, Scootaloo." "Fight stopper Cutie Marks." "Yep." "Cutie Mark Crusaders..." "HO!"
With their energy restored, two thirds of the Ponyville Cutie Mark Crusaders dashed outside, determined to dissolve the fighting occurring between the two sisters.

Whilst Twilight had a nervous breakdown, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo ran through the castle until they found the Royal Pony Sisters. The alicorns were wrestling each other, the guards standing back for fear of being injured by flailing hooves. The sun and moon clashed in the sky as the two fillies attempted to slip to the princesses without getting hurt. Luckily, they were fillies so it wasn't all too difficult.
"Princess Celestia? Princess Luna?" "Stop being so silly!" "Over our cold dead corpse!!" "Don't tempt me, mare!"
Scootaloo shouted at the top of her tiny lungs.
"STOP FIGHTING!!!!"
Luna and Celestia turned to look at the filly that just used the Royal Canterlot Voice. In that moment, the guards moved in, quickly separating the two princesses. Luna smiled at Scootaloo.
"You have learned well, young filly. What is your name?" "Scootaloo... I think you're the best pony ever...! Even cooler than Rainbow Dash!"
High above Ponyville, Rainbow Dash felt a punch in the stomach. She looked up at down at Ponyville with a sick look on her face.
"Something is wrong in the universe... I am no longer somepony's favorite pony..."
