Ever wonder what Pinkie does in her free time? Well, give this story a read to find out. No ship is safe... (I could only put one character from each ship, sorry...)

We all know that Pinkie is notorious for her parties and baked goods, but what does she do when she has some spare time on her hooves? Come on, I know you want to find out!

Chapter 1

I climb up into the tree, just in time. They almost saw me. Don’t let them see you, Pinkie. I think. This is what you’ve trained for. I follow the couple, jumping from tree to tree. Don’t make any sound. One rustle of leaves and you’re found out.

I’ve been doing this ever since I was younger. I got trained from a friend of mine, back when I wasn’t even a mare yet. I see the couple leave into a store. Well, unless I can find somewhere in there to sneak around, I’ve lost them. It’s a shame. Those two were so cute together.

I’ve been doing this for the past few months, now. Following around couples just for fun. I can’t be about parties all the time! I jump from tree to tree, building to building, rafter to rafter, all to follow around two ponies to see where they go and what they do. I never go into another pony’s house unless we’re really close friends, though. Otherwise, I can almost follow them wherever they go.

I see two ponies out of the corner of my eye. No, not two ponies. A pony and some small shape. I turn around. Rarity and Spike, funny seeing you in this part of town. I follow them, listening to their conversation. Spike is following Rarity, yet again, doing things for her, yet again. “Thank you ever so much for helping me out, Spike. I can always count on you!” Rarity says. “Aw, it’s no big deal. Anything for you!” Spike replies.

Oooh! I wonder what they’re gonna get into this time! Something always happens when those two are together! And it’s true! Spike turns into a huge dragon that tries to destroy the town. Rarity gets kidnapped by dogs and we all have to save her (even though she can save herself). Who knows what’ll happen this time!

Nothing. That’s what happens this time. Just Spike doing a bunch of chores for Rarity. Nothing too exciting. Maybe I should make all the Pegasi make it rain again. I got some pretty interesting things last time. But all cross references aside, this time was boring. Not worth the effort.

Bored, I walk into the Ice Cream Parlor to get a sundae or something. Sitting at the table next to me, I see two little ponies sitting there. I recognize those two. Hay, it’s Sweetie Belle and that other one. Oh, what’s his name again…? Oh yeah! Button Mash! I hear a loud “Order up!” and see two milkshakes tossed their way.

“Wanna have a milkshake race?” I hear Button say. “No, not after that one time! We barely got to talk at all! You were just laying there on the ground with brain freeze half of the time.” Sweetie replies. “I guess you’re right.” Button says. Sweetie smiles and hugs Button.

That caught my attention. After a slightly-prolonged hug, they go back to drinking their milkshakes and talking about video games. I didn’t know Sweetie was such a gamer. I finish my sundae and walk out. Alright, that was kind of interesting. Of course, one hug is nothing. I decide to take a walk in the park.

All of a sudden, I see a chestnut stallion with a brown, spiky mane run by. I didn’t get to see the cutie mark, but I’m pretty sure his eyes were blue. I think I’ve seen him before, but I can’t remember where… all of a sudden I see a very familiar Pegasus fly overhead. Oh yes, now I remember. He’s the one who was with Derpy that one time. How could I not remember that? But wait, I thought he… No, that couldn’t have been him. Better follow them to make sure.

They go into the forest, and I follow them, hopping from tree to tree. “Okay. I think we’re safe.” He says as Derpy catches up, both of them panting. The voice is the same, but that can’t be… He died… and then changed! “Did we lose them?” Derpy asks. “Yes, I’m pretty sure. But you can’t be too sure with these ones.”

As soon as he said that, a weird pony machine comes out of the bushes. What the hay is that thing?!?!? “RUN!!!” The stallion shouts. He and Derpy take off, and a whole bunch of those things run out of the bushes after them shouting “Delete! Delete! Delete!” I try to keep up with them, but I lose them a couple times. When I finally catch up it’s just in time to see them disappear into a strange blue box of some kind.

I think I saw that thing last time, whatever it is. Before I can think any more, it vaporizes into thin air, making these weird noises I can’t place my hoof on. What the…? I think as I see the robotic ponies start to fade away. That was weird. Oh well. I leave and go to the last place I can think of to go.

I knew they’d be here! Where else would they be? I watch as Rainbow Dash and Applejack have a hoof wrestling contest at Sweet Apple Acres. These contests always turn out good. I remember last time…

“Just give up already! You know I’m gonna beat you.” Rainbow says. “I aint givin’ up till I win this contest!” Applejack exclaims. “We’ve been at it for 15 minutes now! One of us has to give in, and it’s not gonna be me!” “Well, it aint gonna be me, either.” “How about we call this one a draw?” “Alright. But we’ve gotta come up with some other contest!”

“Hay, how about we see who can last the longest in that haunted castle again?” “We both know that ol’ place aint haunted, it was just Pinkie Pie playing the organ.” “Or maybe it is haunted; we just didn’t get to see because Pinkie was playing the organ!” “Maybe you’re right. Alright, you’ve talked me into it.” “Great! Let’s leave now!”

“Now? But the sun’s settin’.” “Exactly why we should go now! Unless you’re scared.” “Me? Scared? Who’re you callin’ scared? I’m prob’ly braver than you!” “We’ll see about that!” They head off into the forest. Perfect! Just like last time! I hop from tree to tree, following them.

I remember last time. I saw that they were going to go to that old castle, and I had heard legends about secret passageways controlled by an organ somewhere in there. I went ahead of everypony so I could get there, find that cape, and find the organ. Of course, they got there a little after I did, so I didn’t find the organ till later.

I didn’t know the rest of us would be there, too. I didn’t mean to scare them, only Rainbow and Applejack. Of course, I came up with a story for an excuse about why I had to leave, and, if I got caught (which I did), why I was there. I’m good at coming up with stuff like that. Thank God my Element wasn’t Honesty, that was Applejack’s. I had my fun!

It wasn’t just for me, though. I also did it for the Bronies everywhere watching, so they would have something to post on those websites they love so much. I seem to be very popular, but that’s getting off topic… I follow Rainbow and Applejack as they finally reach the castle, make sure they’re both up for it, and go in.

I walk in and find that old cloak I wore last time. I put it on and start to put my plan in action. I find a few good places to hide and wait for the right moment. When they’re about to walk over to the big trap door room, I find a stone large enough to activate the pressure plate. I make it look like it fell from the ceiling as they walk into the perfect position.

They fall down into the pit and I swoop down to grab the stone back. But before I do, I make sure to time everything perfectly so the stone will go off of the pressure plate as soon as I go into the pit to see what happens. My plan works perfectly. I can see them in the dark, thanks to the night vision goggles I brought along. Don’t ask me how I got them, it’s a looooooooong story. They’re terrified! Ha! Just as planned!

“Applejack? Are you there? I can’t see anything!” Rainbow calls out. “Right here, sugarcube. I can’t see anythin’ either.” “Do you know what happened?” “I haven’t the faintest idea. It all happened so suddenly. I wish I had a light.” “Why? You scared?” “What? Naw, it’s just really dark, that’s all…” I laugh a really loud, scary, unPinkie-like laugh. One that you would hear from an evil something-or-other.

“Wha-what was that???” Rainbow asks. “Just a really loud, scary disembodied laugh, that’s all. Nothin’ to be scared of, right?” I laugh again, this time slightly louder. They grab onto each other and sit there, shaking. Ha! I really did it this time! They don’t even know I’m here! They stay in a hug while they calm down. After a little bit, Rainbow speaks up.

“This is kinda nice.” “Yeah, it is, isn’t it?” “I-I mean, friendwise! It’s nice to have a friend.” “Yeah! Th-that’s what I meant, too. Er, friendwise.” They slightly pull away from each other. They can’t see each other, but I can see that they’re both blushing like crazy. Applejack grabs onto Rainbow’s hoof, and she smiles. They start hugging again, not to comfort themselves, but to enjoy each other’s company.

“Ummm… Rainbow? Can I tell ya somethin’?” “Sure.” “Well, since it doesn’t look like we’re gettin’ outta here anytime soon, I have to tell you this. I-I-I… I like ya, Rainbow. Like, more than friends.” “Really??? Cause I like you, too. Like, more than friends.” They both smile at each other and sit there for a little while longer. Then, as if mentally linked somehow, they both went to kiss each other at the same time.

AWWWWWW!!! That’s the sweetest thing I’ve seen all day! My work here is done. I activate the switch that turns the wall around to get us out of that room, and duck away somewhere before they can notice. “Hay! We’re free!!! It’s about time!!! Alright, who’s the punk who shoved us in here?!?!?!?” Rainbow calls. “Come out here and fight me!” “Rainbow, calm down.” Applejack says. “You’re just still worked up from bein’ in there so long.” “You’re right. Let’s just go home.” Same here. I start my way back to my house.

I’m in the park when I hear two small voices. Hay, those voices sound familiar… I jump into a tree so they can’t see me. Just as I thought. Sweetie and Button are standing there alone, talking. What are they doing out so late? It’s almost 9:45… “Today was fun, wasn’t it?” Button asks. “Yeah, but not as fun as our adventure that one time, right?” Sweetie replies.

“Yeah, I guess you’re right.” “Especially that one time…” Button and Sweetie both blush “Yeah, that was fun…” Button smiles. So does Sweetie. “Um, but thanks for taking me out!” she says. She kisses Button, both of them blushing. AWWWWW!!! Now that’s the sweetest thing I’ve seen all day!!! They look into each other’s eyes. “Now it’s almost just as fun as our adventure.” Sweetie says, blushing.

They both smile and walk away, holding hooves. That just made my day! Er, night! I walk home, satisfied with everything I saw today. When I get home, I take out my camera that I had hidden this whole time. I walk into my special closet-turned-dark-room and take out the film. I use all of my equipment to develop the film. After a while, all the pictures come out clear as day, even in the dark! I got a special camera from the same place I got my goggles. Again, don’t ask. “I got some good ones today.”

I smile, looking at all the pictures I took. There was kissing, hugging, even some motion shots from Derpy and that Doctor guy running. I also got a picture of whatever that robotic pony was, maybe I can figure it out in the future. Oh well. I put all the other photos in an album full of all those moments, even the “adventure” that Sweetie was talking about. I really loved that part. I close the album for the last time tonight. “See you all again tomorrow maybe.” I turn off the lights and shut the door behind me.
