> Assassin's Creed-Fluttershy > by cellum95 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prologue*Improved by CyanLaser* > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy, the Elemental Bearer of Kindness, is been invited by the new alicorn princess and her friend, Twilight Sparkle, to witness a new teleportation spell by her own friend, in which the spell must be hitting a pony or an object in order to be successful. She reluctantly agrees and move towards the Golden Oaks Library. -Golden Oaks Library- "Hello Twilight." Fluttershy said when she enters the library. Twilight was waiting for her. "Oh hello Fluttershy! Are you excited to see my new spell?!" She said, with an uncomfortable smile in her face. Which deserved an uneasy look by her pegasi friend. "Oh yes uhm....I'm very excited to witness it." Fluttershy replied. Twilight, pleased by her reply, got her into a seat and said: "Okay this teleportation spell will allow anypony to cross Equestria without using small distance teleportation. In this case, unicorns and alicorns will have a much better chance to reach their destination with a single spell." "Okay so how does it work Twilight?" Fluttershy asked, still uneasy about this. "To make it work, I need something to test it. Spike, could you give me something to demonstrate to Fluttershy?" Twilight pleaded. "Okay Twilight." Spike replied, zooming out to find something to be demonstrated. They waited for him to return, and when he does, he holds basically a mirror, and it was an old one. However, the mirror is, in Twilight's mind, the perfect candidate to be demonstrated. "Okay Spike, put it right there." Twilight said, pointing her hoof at the wall. Reluctantly, Spike agreed, and carefully put the old mirror leaning against the wall. "Okay everypony, stand back." Twilight commanded, making Fluttershy and Spike walk a few distance away between Twilight and the mirror. Twilight concentrated and charged her horn with the spell, pointing it directly at the mirror. She fired the spell, and expected to teleport the mirror elsewhere. But, something unexpected happened. To her utter horror, the spell just bounced from the object and was now heading towards Fluttershy. The pegasi only looked in horror unable to move from the projectile. "FLUTTERSHY, LOOK OUT!" Twilight screamed as loud as she could to warn her friend, but it was too late. It hit her pegasus friend, and in an instant she was engulfed in a very violent bright white flash of light, blinding Twilight and Spike. And when the flash had settled, they slowly opened their eyes, only to reveal an unoccupied space, Fluttershy was gone. However, Twilight knew she could locate Fluttershy by using a very special tracking spell. She concentrated her magic with effort and persistence, but nothing happened. She couldn't feel Fluttershy's presence in Equestria anymore, meaning that she is gone forever. She lost her friend, and it was her fault. Spike could only watch the scenery mouth agape. He looked at Twilight, and saw regret and despair. At this time, Twilight did what was only left to do, she felt down and cried. -Seven Years Later- Seven years past since the incident, and everypony knew what happened. Rainbow Dash almost wanted to beat the hell out of Twilight for what she did. Pinkie didn't talked with her for weeks. Applejack though, felt sorry for her and was desperately trying to comfort her. Rarity didn't spoke a word, as she was to shocked to even speak. Although they were shocked, angry and sad to hear the news of what happened to the poor Fluttershy, they forgave the one who caused it, and this pony was Twilight Sparkle. They knew it was an accident and that they couldn't be mad at her forever. Today, it was Hearths Warming Eve in Ponyville, or the pony equivalent of Christmas. Ponies were smiling in the snow, including Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Twilight. Few meters away was Applejack and Rainbow, each trowing snowballs at each other. Applejack though, noticed the look on her alicorn friend standing and looking at the snow beneath her. "Heya Twi! What y'all doing today?" Applejack asked with concerned to the lavender alicorn. "Oh nothing. It's just that I was just thinking about Fluttershy." Twilight replied with sorrow. But instead of hate words, she was hugged by her dearest friends, knowing it was just an accident. "Come on egghead! It was just an accident!" Rainbow said in effort to comfort her. However, another question came to her mind."Where could Fluttershy be?" Rainbow Dash asked. However, before Twilight could answer, a sudden flash of light blinded them and the surrounding ponies, creating a tear, a portal of somewhat. When they open their eyes, a pony shaped body could be seen inside the portal. And when it crossed the portal completely, they could see the pony perfectly. The pony was dressed elegantly with a black and red dress of an alien type with a hood, that made her or his eyes unseen. Having a sword which made the ponies shiver, and boots. However, it didn't cover the ponies wings, yellow muzzle and pink mane. The guards, who were there in that time, came to defend the princess by surrounding the mysterious pony, only to see the portal just vanish. One of the guards asked the pony: "Who are you? What are your intents!? Speak!" The pony slowly turned is gaze at him with its hood still on, making the guard shiver in fear by that presence alone. "My presence is not of your concern guard. Will you kindly put down your weapon please?" The pony begged calmly, that made the guard rather confused. The mane (5) knew that voice. However it seemed to have picked some assertiveness. Can this mysterious pony really be her? Can this pony really be Fluttershy? Is that mysterious pony really is their friend? "Not a chance." The guard said, and when the guards broke the encirclement, he assaulted the pony with his sword. However, instead of dodging the sword, the pony just by instinct pulled out its own sword and contacted it with the guard's weapon. Furious, the guard just retracted the sword and swing it to the right, only to be dodged by the pony using a fighting technique in which the ponies don't knew. When the pony stood up, it just sheathed its sword back and said: "Fighting you will just be a waste of time. I must go back to my house. And don't follow me anyways." The pony said, moving towards the Everfree Forest, but because of curiosity, the Mane 6, now Mane 5, followed the mysterious pony. -Fluttershy's Cottage- Fluttershy's Cottage was just at the edge of the Everfree Forest, and although the original owner is gone for seven years, Discord the Spirit of Chaos, got the cottage in nice and tidiness and making friends with the animals as well. Today, he was sitting with a cup of coffee, still worried about his little Fluttershy. 'Oh my Fluttershy. Where are you now?' He asked in his thought. However, his thoughts were interrupted when a sudden opening of the door which made him jolt out of his couch. When the door fully opened, he could see a fully hooded pony with a weapon on it's back which made Discord shiver. "Why hello there Discord, I see you keep my cottage nice and tidy. It's a shame I didn't even seen you for seven years." The pony said, making Discord's eyes-widened. This mysterious hooded pony, was in fact the long lost Fluttershy. "Why Fluttershy, where have you been?" He asked, hugging the absent mare. Fluttershy just returned the hug and said: "Oh nothing special." However, before Discord could reply, a voice came out and asked: "Fluttershy? Is that you?" When they turned their attention to the door, they could see her friends standing in front of her front door. Letting out a sigh, Fluttershy lifted her hood, revealing her face to her friends. However she changed from the past seven years. She now had a scar on her left eye. Her eyeball was still intact though, the scar only made her more fierce looking. "It's me girls." She said while smiling, making the Mane 6 whole again. They all smiled at their sight, Fluttershy was here and safe. They all ran and hugged their friend like they never did. It has been seven years since they had a group hug, and it was a relief for everypony. "Where have you been?" Rainbow Dash asked, as tears of joy came down her cheek. "Maybe tomorrow, I think I just got busy when I have this." Fluttershy replied, revealing a necklace with a strange symbol on it. "No Fluttershy, reveal your story today. After all, it's morning." Discord suggested, making Fluttershy sigh in defeat. "Okay, I will tell you my story when we'll walk towards Twilight's library." Fluttershy said, and the eight of them started walking towards town, with Fluttershy wearing her hood again. "What's your story darling?" Rarity asked, excited to hear what happened to her. "Alright. If you want to listen, it started seven years ago, after Twilight's accidental spell incident...." Fluttershy started, making her friends eagerly to listen to her story. > Ezio Auditore* > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Mentor of the Assassin's Order in Italy, now resides peacefully in his villa with his family, Sofia and his two children. He was writing peacefully on a parchment and when he finished, he looked at it. Suddenly, a knock on the door was heard: "Si." He said out loud. The door opened, revealing his wife Sofia standing. "I'm taking Marcelo into town." She said. He looked again at the parchment and said: "To see Machiavelli's play?" "Ezio, his play closed three weeks ago." His wife replied. "I missed it." He said, looking at Sofia. "We are visiting your sister. Keep an eye on Flavia ok?" "Si, of course." He answered. "We will be back soon. Ciao amore mio." "A piu tardi. Be safe." And when he said that, the door closed, and when he looked at the parchment for one last time, he crumpled it and threw it on a nearby picture. But before he could do anything, a sudden white flash blinded him. And when the flash had settled, he opened his eyes and saw a very peculiar creature, a pegasus. 'What is a pegasus doing here?' He asked in his thoughts, as he approached the pegasus. When the pegasus opened its eyes, it saw him and cowered behind her....mane. He kneel to its height and said: "Hello little pegasus. I'm Ezio, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. I will not hurt you." The pegasus peek one of it's eyes and said: "Thank you." "Your wel....Wait, you talk?" He asked. The pegasus, judging from its voice who was obviously female, replied: "Yes I can talk." Ezio couldn't believe it. He's having a conversation with a talking pegasus! But since no one was here, he decided to get over it and ask for her name : "Okay then. What's your name?" "Fluttershy." She replied quietly, but still loud enough to be heard. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "So in the midst of my spell incident, you were transported to the house of a guy named...Ezio?" Twilight asked with an eyebrow raised. "Yes. He was kind surprisingly, and he was kind enough to not hurt me." Fluttershy replied. "So he is kind like you. But may I ask darling?" Rarity said. "Hm?" She said, turning her gaze to Rarity. "What is that clothing your wearing? It's fabulous." Rarity replied, while admiring the art work in front of her own eyes. "Oh just a typical Assassin robe." Fluttershy replied, in which the rest of the Mane 6, even Rainbow Dash backed away from their shy pegasus friend. Not only Fluttershy had travelled to another dimension(except for Twilight who knew what is next), but she also killed creatures for a living. "But..That's awful darling! How can you do such things to another pony!" Rarity shouted, not recognizing her friend anymore. "Whoa, calmare amico!" Fluttershy shouted back in a language that nopony know. "Don't worry. I'm not gonna kill you all, in fact, I will only eliminate those who wanted harm." Although it was a warm reply from Fluttershy, they were still doubtful about her not killing them. "Now where was I? Ah. Okay, now....." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ezio and Fluttershy got out of the house, because Ezio asked Fluttershy to help him with the grape harvest, and she reluctantly agreed. Then, they could hear laughing, and when Ezio turned his head, he could see his daughter, Flavia, hiding behind a barrel. "Flavia, tesoro. Stay where I can see you." Flavia obeyed and just ran to her next 'hiding' spot. When Ezio again turned his head, he thought he could see someone in the distance. When he 'refreshes' his eyes, he could see no one. "Is something wrong Mr. Ezio?" Fluttershy asked worryingly. "None Ms. Fluttershy. Come on, let's pick some grapes." He said. And with that, they started walking in the grape field, with Fluttershy picking a grape or two. Ezio looked around to have a look on Flavia, only to found that she was with a stranger. "Leave her alone!" He shouted, running back towards Flavia, with Fluttershy close behind. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Who was that?" Twilight asked. "Che cos'è?" Twilight was confused by the sudden change of language."Um, I mean, who was he shouting at 'Leave her alone!'?" "I will tell it later. Now....." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He quickened the pace, and soon had grabbed the mystery person, but her daughter, Flavia, said: "Lei gentili papa." He looked at the person, who he guessed was a woman, and could see the official Assassin symbol in her necklace. "Go inside Flavia." -Later that night- "I do not know what to say. I'm sorry. I do not want any part of this." Ezio said, with Fluttershy behind Sofia, whom he introduced a while ago. "I want to understand." The woman said. "Understand what?" "How to lead, to rebuild my order." She replied. "No! For me that is over. Finito. I think you should go." "Ezio, she has come a long way. Shao Jun. Did I say that right?" Sofia asked, making Jun bowing in approval. "Would you stay for supper?" "Gra-zie!" "Good. We have a spare bedroom. You're welcome to stay a few nights. Also you Fluttershy." Sofia said, making eye contact with Fluttershy. In that night, Shao Jun and Fluttershy rests comfortably in that bedroom Sofia gave them, with the couple watching them. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "So that mystery person is named....Shao what?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Her name is Shao Jun. She is a Chinese Assassin." Fluttershy replied, having glances from her friends. "Wait, did you say Chinese Assassin dear?" Rarity asked, confused. "Why yes Rarity. I'm quite surprise myself that they have dozens of countries or more. For example, China is where Jun lives before fleeing to Italy with her Mentor, the highest position in the Assassin's Order, because of a great purge." "And what is that great purge may ah ask?" Applejack asked. "This great purge, as Shao Jun said to me, is decreed by the emperor of her current time, and this in turn will eradicate any enemy that oppose the emperor." Fluttershy replied, making the ponies and Discord very disturbed. "Could I continue this later?" Fluttershy pleaded, while feeling tired. "Of course dear." Rarity replied, receiving a smile from the pegasus Assassin. > Fluttershy* > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy continued to walk in the streets of Ponyville, in which her friends and Discord studied her completely. Not only she wielded a dangerous weapon and having an 'Assassin' robes, she is walking in a bipedal manner like Iron Will, but her personality had changed as well. She is not the pony they used to know, she used to be shy, not brave in most occasions. Now, she is not afraid of anypony noticing her, including the guards. "Halt you!" One of the guards said, with the now pegasus Assassin stopping dead in her tracks. "What do you want?" She asked with a sigh. "You are wielding a dangerous weapon. By the royal protocol of the Royal Sisters, you must surrender your weapon!" He shouted. Fluttershy just gave another sigh and looked at him, still with her hood. "If your in my position, then somepony or something just attacked an innocent pony, what will you do?" For the ponies, it made a lot of sense, but no so much to the stubborn guard. "That is the job of the Royal Guard! Not some any other ponies job except for the Elements of Harmony." "Then what did you do during the Changeling Invasion?" Fluttershy asked, which made the guards and ponies gulp. The Changeling Invasion, perhaps one of the infamous in Equestrian history, is very troubling. The Guards in their part simply didn't successfully defend the capital city of Equestria, Canterlot. But thanks to the actions of the Elements of Harmony, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, Twilight's brother, they successfully drove off the Changelings. "Oh....Uhm...." The guard stammered to get his reply, but Fluttershy just leaned to his ears and whispered: "Now, stop worrying about your answer. Just go back to your post please." The guard wide-eyed at the hooded pony in front of him. Not only this pony shocked the ponies, but it was ordering the guard to do something normally the Captain of the Guards or the Princesses would do. This angered the guard a lot. "Why you!" He shouted, drawing out his sword. In return however, the hooded pony draws out it's own sword, in fighting stance. The guard, taking this as a way of aggression, charged at the yet unknown Fluttershy, wanting to stab her into the chest. However, Fluttershy's months or probably years of Assassin training, countered the move with her sword, to the surprise of the guard. In response, he tries for a right sword slash, but Fluttershy countered it again, much to the guard's chargin. He tries a low sword slash, but to the ponies surprise, Fluttershy jumped a full three-hundred degree turning sideways. She landed with sword still ready for a blow, and the guard is now getting really mad about it. However, knowing that if he withdraw his sword, the hooded pony will withdrew it's sword as well. So he did what he plans to, and the hooded pony withdraw as well, just as planned, and the pony began to walk away. 'Gotcha!' He said in his thoughts as he sheated his sword again and wants to kill the pony. However, by his utter surprise and horror, Fluttershy blocked his blow by using her sword again. 'How could she.....?' He dropped his sword with shock. He was lost in his thoughts as if why could this pony block his attacks so easily. "Your just wasting my time guard. I'll be on my way then." Fluttershy said, leaving the dumbfounded guard alone with his companions and other ponies. "Alright, I need to admit...That was pretty awesome..." Rainbow Dash said while still eyeing the shocked guard -Fluttershy's Cottage- Fluttershy opened the door of her beloved home, a cottage in the outskirts of the Everfree Forest, the most dangerous place in the outskirts of Ponyville. She sighed, closing the door, and said to herself: "Why does everypony is now suspicious of me? Might as well hide, or establish an Assassin branch here, by the Codex of Altair himself." She is weighing her decision, but a knock on the door get her train of thoughts a postponement. She opened the door, revealing her friends. "Hello everypony." She said, getting her friends to notice her frown. Her friends noticed her sad face. "What's wrong dear?" Rarity asked, having a concern with the timid-turned-Assassin pegasus. "Oh nothing Rarity. It's just that, well, ponies nowadays will never accept for who I am now. It's like I'm Zecora in a sort of way." Fluttershy replied, her friends having frowns of themselves in fact. "Don't worry Fluttershy. Like Zecora, they would understand as well." Twilight, making Fluttershy having a slight smile. "If may I ask Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash pleaded. "Continuare please." "Where did you get those awesome moves?" Fluttershy was a silent for a moment, she gave a grin before answering: "Later in my story. Now, do all of you want to continue the story?" She asked, and getting a lot of approvals, she continued her story with the last days of the great Ezio Auditore, and her years with Shao Jun. > Shao Jun* > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was a another day for the Auditore family, and the beautiful sun was rising from the horizon. Ezio and Fluttershy were awake early and ahead of everybody, or so they thought. "Jun!" Ezio shouted, but no response came for the retired Assassin. They walked a little further, and Ezio shouted once more: "Shao Jun!" Walking more towards Ezio's private room, they could see the Chinese Assassin sitting near the Italian Assassin's desk. "Get out!" Ezio shouted, making Fluttershy uncomfortable. "The wind...it opened the door." Jun tried to reason. "Fuori!" He shouted again, making Fluttershy backed away a little. Shao Jun walks out of the door, with Fluttershy with her. The elderly Assassin approached the desk, and when he saw the papers, he swiped them out of the desk in anger. He goes out of his room, and he could see Shao Jun near the wooden barrels, like she was in despair, with Fluttershy trying to comfort her. "I was wrong." She said. "I see, I think you need to go." Ezio suggested with a hint of anger in his voice. Turning away her gaze from Ezio, Shao Jun started a statement. "My name is Ezio Auditore. when I was a young man, I had liberty, but I did not see it. I had a time, but I did not know it. And I had love, but I did not feel it. It would be thirty long years, before I understand the meaning of all three." She stopped, looking at Ezio when he stopped walking as well, making Fluttershy to wonder what was happening. "I want to understand like you do, to help my people." Jun said, making Fluttershy to wonder more. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Why does Jun actually want to understand dear?" Rarity asked Fluttershy. "You will know later." She replied, bringing them back to the story. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I was an Assassin for a long time, Jun. And I know that any moment someone could come for me, for my family." Ezio stated to the Chinese Assassin. "Do you see. This is why I must be careful." He added. "I usually hire people to help me with vengeance, the grape harvest, but..." He paused, before speaking in both Italian and English. "Entra. Let us get something to eat." And with that, Shao Jun stood up and walked with Ezio. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I thought we could know those three." Rainbow Dash annoyingly said. "Pardon?" "I mean, what are those three anyway?" "Ah I see. Those three are called tenants, or creeds, of the Assassin Order. They are basically rules to follow." Fluttershy replied. The rest of the Mane 6 titled their head in curiosity. "What are those rules Fluttershy?" Twilight asked, getting a quill, parchment, and ink. "Before the famous Codex, there was three Creed's to be followed, one: Stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent. Two: Hide in plane sight, be one with the crowd and Three: Never compromise the Brotherhood. These were the rules. but Altair's Codex say: Here we seek to promote peace, but murder is our means. Here we seek to open the minds of men, but require obedience to a master. and set of rules. Finally, here we seek the danger of blind faith, yet we are practitioners ourselves. It was a difficult life for an Assassin." Fluttershy replied. "As in, how hard?" Rainbow Dash asked. "An Assassin's life is in pain, and sometimes, cause turmoil to do something you were supposed to do. When I killed for the first time, I was in grief that I killed a life of a pony, or in case, a person. Even if I continued, I feel regret for killing somepony-someone sorry-just because of a mission or a sworn enemy." Fluttershy said in sadness. The Mane 6 were saddened also, thinking of what would happen if they killed somepony. "I-I'm sorry. Do you wish to continue?" Twilight asked. "Yes actually. Before I will end the story from here, here's another tenant, or creed, which is probably the most important." Fluttershy replied. "Then what is it Shy?" Pinkie asked. "没有什么是真实的，一切都是允许的." Fluttershy replied in Chinese, in which nopony understands. "Oops sorry. Using my new dialect. It means 'Nothing is true, Everything is permitted.'" Fluttershy translated, in which everypony understands now. But before Fluttershy could call it a day, there was one question left for the Chinese-pegasus Assassin. "What was that?" Twilight asked. "Hm?" "What was that dialect called?" Twilight asked in curiosity. "Oh you mean my new language. It's called Chinese actually. Difficult to learn." Fluttershy responded. This made the other ponies to tilt in curiosity. "Difficult to learn?" They asked in unison. "Trust me, it is. Now then, let's move again shall we?" Fluttershy responded, with her friends nod in agreement. And with that, they continue their walk with Fluttershy, the pegasus that made the mark in China. > Path of an Assassin > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy, along with her friends, continued to walk around in Ponyville, with many of the ponies living in the town is staring at her, shocked to see a new pony, but elegantly dressed with something alien-like. Twilight was wondering how could Fluttershy manage to hoof-to-hoof with Royal Guards. She was shy actually, timid to be exact that she doesn't want to hurt anypony. Yes, she does tries that while confronting the Royal Guards, but since those guards are stubborn, they just attacked her, for just the sake of Equestria. However, Fluttershy seems to handle the situation by drawing out her own weapon, but instead of killing the guards, she just blocks them. Where in Equestria did Fluttershy learn all that?! 'I must know about it!' Twilight shouted in her head, knowing that it's part scientific research. "So Fluttershy?" All heads, including Fluttershy's, turned towards Rarity. "What do you want to ask me Rarity?" Fluttershy asked back. "How can you, you know, enter as an Assassin?" This particular question hit the others hard, and they were also curious how could Fluttershy be an Assassin. By a test? "Your questions seems to revolve around the Assassin's, but each time I answer, the more I realize that I'm revealing the secrets to you, and then, to everypony." Fluttershy's answer was with an ice-cold manner, in which her friends where now more shocked than ever. Fluttershy, their timid friend, seems to be more.....antagonistic thanks to her new life as an Assassin. Worst, she didn't even apologize for her manner and stared at them, with the hood still on. "W-We will n-not revolve this information. Pinkie Promise!" Rainbow Dash stuttered but manage to have her sentence heard. Fluttershy sighed, but not before having them another ice-cold sentence, this time a life-threatening warning. "If I hear or saw all of you dissolving this information, and the Royal Guards are at my tail, I will not hesitate to kill you all." Her friends gulped in fear, for their friend is now ferocious with her sentence, that her tone is serious, very serious in fact that their minds are now playing what would Fluttershy do with her sword. Fluttershy just sighed, knowing all to well about it. "Look. I'm sorry for what I said, but this questions got me to the point wherein it's like dissolving it unto somepony else." "We're sorry dear. But our curiosity is overwhelming, and we can't even control it." Rarity said. Fluttershy looked back at Rarity, and the others, and her friends are now shivering with fear that something is up with Fluttershy's stare at them. "On what I'm looking at, your telling the truth Rarity. I'm not the Element of Honesty, that's Applejack's element, but with 7 years of being with Shao Jun, I developed my skills more. This means I'm more deadlier than you thought." Fluttershy replied. The ponies process first the reply, but they were wondering what skills she developed. However, Rainbow Dash thought that it's Fluttershy fighting skill is her skill, nothing more. "Oh big deal Fluttershy! The only skill we could see that is developed is your fighting skills." Her friends seems to agree, that they needed to see only that. "Oh you think?" Fluttershy asked, getting a serious tone. Her friends shruddered by her tone, and that seriousness is only used when she is using her infamous 'Stare'. "I would have to go the Library. I think I need some reading." Fluttershy requested. "Why go to the Library? Probably the guards have an arrest warrant to you already." Twilight asked. She does actually gave an interesting point in it. What if Royal Guards is now patrolling willy-nilly just to find her? Fluttershy normally would be scared because of that thought, at least to her friends thinking. But when they saw Fluttershy, they could see a very different one. Instead of being scared, she is just now brave and doesn't even care at all if she is captured or not. This is not even the Fluttershy they knew! It's like she's being replaced by a clone! "That is okay Twilight. I have already faced that." Fluttershy walked towards the Library with a step of grace, and her friends are now processing of what was the meaning of her reply. > Ghost of the Past > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy was walking in a bipedal fashion, so fearlessly that her friends are now worried for her safety. If she continues this, then there might be a possibility that all of the Royal Guards will hunt her down, until in such time that she is either captured, or in some cases, killed in action. When Fluttershy was staring at the front door of the Golden Oaks Library, Twilight's home, they were wondering why she she stopped to the front door of the library. But what she does next, is unbelievable. With one quick, but decisive hard buck, she actually destroyed the front door with decisive ease, not having any difficulties at all. A lot of questions were running riot in their minds right now, including Twilight and Applejack. 'How could Fluttershy be strong now?' They both thought as they try to sneak towards Fluttershy, who was now searching in the library. -Fluttershy- Fluttershy enters the library, somewhat being in a bad mood already. 'All those questions....They will never change it.' She thought as she continues to 'walk' inside the library. Somehow, the feeling is strangely familiar to her, but she can't put her hoof on it. Suddenly, her enhanced hearing caught something, probably something or somepony outside. She sighed, and with a single motion to ready her sword, she warned: "If somepony is out there, identify yourself or I will use deadly force!" Her tone was dark and serious, and shadows was beginning to form, and Fluttershy readies herself for an attack. However, an all too familiar voice was heard. "Uhm 'Shy? Are you in there?" It was the voice of her long-time friend, Rainbow Dash. She sighed, but then a memory sparked again, this time, in a marketplace in Italy. -Marketplace- It was now bustling with activity of the marketplace, once the sight wherein Ezio's family was murdered. But in the middle of the bustling market was just the Chinese Assassin, Shao Jun, and Fluttershy herself. 'So this is how their market works.' Fluttershy thought in curiosity. It was the most busiest market she had ever seen, even busier than Ponyville market itself. Thousands upon thousands of humans, as they were called, lined up the markets, eager to buy or sell something that is worth some while. Shao Jun was just standing there, but then in surprise the hand of the Italian Mentor get contact with her shoulders. "I might have luck with the harvest." He said. "Come, I want to show you both something." He walked towards the bench and without hesitation, Shao Jun and Fluttershy followed him, sitting next to him to his hear tragic story. "Jun, you know, my family was murdered here, in this very plaza, thirty-five years ago, when I was still young." Fluttershy's mind instantly shut down, thinking how could him, Ezio Auditore, his family, murdered, right in his very own eyes, still young at the time. "But seeing this, full of life, makes me feel that my pain had gone away." He paused, thinking of what to say next. "Come, let's go." Ezio, Shao Jun and Fluttershy were walking out of the marketplace when something caught their eye. It was a hooded human, much like Shao Jun, but has a mask and a very dangerous sword. Ezio wants to unsheath his knife but Jun stops him, and walks forward to confront the man. 'Don't do it!' Fluttershy mentally screams, but it was no use. Shao Jun got to her sword and she and the Chinese man fights each other with their swords, each trying to land a blow. Finally, Shao Jun kicked/bucked the man and goes for a side kick, but this time, killing him instantly with her hidden blade in her boot. "Jun! Adiamo, hurry!" Ezio shouted as he, Jun and 'Shy run out of their position, but a Chinese already spotted them. > Ghost of the Past 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- After their encounter with a hooded, Chinese Man, Ezio, Jun and Fluttershy were running away with a horse-pulled cart, something that Fluttershy was not even expecting. She believed that animals should be treated equally, and the humans shattered that code in an instant. She was extremely angry at them, but because she was in another world, and horses/ponies here do not talk the manner she was, she was silent, not to shout at the two assassins. "Jun, who was that man?" Ezio asked the Chinese Assassin. "The Emperors men. They must have known that me and my mentor was here." Jun replied. This caught Fluttershy's attention. The Emperor send his men here? Why here, and why now? "Why?" Ezio asked, making Fluttershy mentally relieved that she will not ask that question. "Back then, I was a concubine to the Emperor Zhengde, but was rescued by my mentor when I was young. I trained for my years of freedom to my rescuers, the Order itself. After that, me and my mentor tried to free the other concubine that I grew up with, but discovered that Emperor Jiajing ordered Ling Chi to them." Jun replied with a hint of anger and sadness to it. "Ling Chi?" Ezio asked. Fluttershy too was very curious of what Ling Chi stands for. However, she will not like the reply of Shao Jun. "Yes, slow death, or death by a thousand cuts." She paused, making Fluttershy cringe in fear with the 'slow death'. "The Emperor is a cruel man." Shao Jun continued and stops there. Ezio look at Jun before 'hiya' the horses to go faster towards the villa. When they arrive at the villa, Ezio burst through the door, with Sofia having a worried expression. "What happened?" She asked. "A bit of....misunderstanding." Ezio replied, looking back at Jun. "I'll go get the children." Sofia said. Later, before night comes, Ezio instructed his wife, Flavia and Marcello to go to Machiavelli's house, but leaving Fluttershy behind ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That memory, one piece of memory, played in Fluttershy's mind in a matter of milliseconds, but she didn't even payed and attention to it. But it was sad to remember Ling Chi, slow death. 'Too much to pay for being an Assassin isn't it?' She mentally asked herself as she withdraws from the shadows, going back to her house. 'Tomorrow, I will return with my friends to China, and I will meet once more Shao Jun.' > Return to China > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Tomorrow, I will return with my friends to China, and I will once more Shao Jun.' That dark thought is now echoing in Fluttershy's mind, wanting to stay in China more than here, because of the Guard's unwelcome response to her. However, there is one flaw to her plan now, more than ever important. She just returned from China, and when she will invite her friends, what will be the reaction of her Assassin brothers and sisters? No matter, she will go ahead with her plan anyway, whatever the cost. However, she will need the spell that Twilight casted to her seven years in the past. But the problem is how will she convince them? It's a difficult question to answer, but since she is the Element of Kindness, then convincing her friend is the only way. When she is near her beloved cottage, her enhanced hearing heard something, and she whipped her head to see anypony or anything following her. Her eyes did not see it, and she just entered her cottage, wanting to have a good sleep for tomorrow's plan to work. -Next Day- It was a beautiful day for Ponyville, and the Chinese pegasus Assassin Fluttershy has been waken by her pet Angel Bunny. She smiled at him, knowing too much that she cares to her beloved Angel. Getting out of bed, she glances to her Assassin's robes and completely remembers the plan she had formulated so that she would go back to China. After eating her breakfast, taking a shower, and also putting on her robes, she is ready to set forth on her return day. But first, she must climb a tree to inspect the town she loves, to see that there is no guards. She climbs up the tree, and she thanked Jun for her Assassin training. At the top of the tree, she expects Ponyville with her 'Eagle Vision', and she smiles on herself on what she saw. Today, the guards are gone, leaving her the freedom she needed badly. Climbing down the tree, she is now smiling so devilishly that she wanted to laugh, but she must not. Now at the base, she is now walking towards the Golden Oaks Library, with her hood not on. -Golden Oaks Library- After unsuccessfully finding Fluttershy in the previous night, the rest of the Mane 6 had slept in the home of Twilight Sparkle, and after waking up, they have frowns planted in their faces. The last to wake up was Rainbow Dash herself. But, before anyone of them could speak up, a knock on the door was heard. "I'll get it!" Spike said, and is now running towards the door. When he is now at the door, he opens it, and all of them have mouths agape. Standing at the other end of the door is none other than Fluttershy herself, in her Assassin clothing. "Fluttershy darling, what are you doing here?" Rarity asked. A big smile was on Fluttershy's face, making them cringed in nervousness. Fluttershy paid no heed to it, and proceed's walking towards the purple Alicorn. When she is now inches away from Twilight's ear, with Twilight now asking why, she replied that will make Twilight not wanting to do that again, nor wanting to hear it anymore. "Fire that spell that you did, seven years ago." > Return to China 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Fire that spell that you did, seven years ago" When Fluttershy whispered this beg in her ear, Twilight's brain immediately shut down for a moment and begin to replay that single memory. She was now hyperventilating so much that her friends are now getting word, but then she closed her eyes, and opens then again, and replied: "WHY THAT?! WHY THAT SPELL?! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I CANNOT FORGIVE MYSELF FOR IT?! HUH?! DO YOU?!" The volume of her voice almost reach the level of the Royal Canterlot Voice, it did shatter some glass, but not enough to be extremely deafening. "Because I want to return." "Return where darling?" Rarity asked. "To return where I got accidentally teleported." Fluttershy replied. "But why? Why now?! We only have you back for a few days and you want to go back?! What's wrong with you?!" Twilight screamed in mental agony. Her friends, too, were now worried because they might lose Fluttershy again. She just sighed. "Nothing is wrong with me Twilight. I just wanted to go back were I got teleported." "But still why?" Fluttershy could see Twilight on the verge of tears, and she placed a hoof on her, saying: "If you want, you could come with me." The words that got into Twilight's ear was registered in her brain as an invitation to the place where Fluttershy was teleported. However, she was unsure about this anyway. "I-I don't know if this is safe for us. I mean, what dangers would go there if we get to the destination?" "Don't worry, I'll protect you. Besides, I'm now skilled more than ever." Fluttershy replied, having a very confident smile on her face. This re-assured Twilight, but for her friends, not so much. "Uhm Fluttershy, don't you weigh the consequences when we leave Equestria. I mean, Equestria will be powerless without the Elements of Harmony." Rainbow Dash said. In truth, it is quite possible. But nevertheless, Fluttershy wanted to continue to China. Ultimately, Twilight agrees and charged up the spell. After a few concentrating seconds, they all vanished. -China- A purple flash was being shown in unknown territory, and their emerged Twilight and her friends. They were completely compelled as to where they are, but only a single building was shown, much to Fluttershy's huge grin of victory. "Where are we Fluttershy?" Twilight asked. "Girls, welcome to China."
