> The TwiDash/Rarijack Tales > by RDFTW > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Club > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story:Club Wriiten by: RDFTW POV: Applejack Rarity hates this place. I know it. I can see it in her eyes. She's givin' me the, Your gonna get it! look. I mean seriously. I jus' wanted to have a lil' fun. Can you believe I had to drag her out here? The only reason she even came was because Twi' 'n' Rainbow asked if we could come. Sort o' like a double date. Wait, it is a double date. I turned away from Rare so I can see what Twi' 'n' Rainbow were doin'. I chuckled as I saw Twi' dancing. That girl has no shame when it comes to dancin'. Rainbow on the other hoof was tryin' not to laugh. She's been tryin' to teach Twi', but I don' think it's workin'. Well, at least they are havin' fun. Me and Rare haven't had that much fun since our firs' date. Twi' and Dash are comin' to our table now. They both look beat, but I can tell they are happy. "What you guys doing up here?" Rainbow asked, "AJ, get down there with your girl and dance!" I gave Rainbow a smirk. "I would like to, but Miss Prissypants o'er there don' wanna." "Rarity, what's wrong?" Twi' asked. "Oh, nothing. Nothing at all," Rare starts, "I would have rather gone to a gala or a ball. Or somewhere more ladylike!" "Oh, come on Rarity," Rainbow interjects, "Don't you love your girl? Just dance with her already. Tonight you can have fun. Instead of going to some boring fancy-pants gala." "I know for a fact that Applejack would have love to gone to the gala," Rare said, "Isn't that right, dear?" "Well..." I start. She gives me this look that says Agree with me! Then I quickly shut up and say, "I mean, err, the gala would have been, um, nice to have gone to." Twilight and Rainbow both look at each other uncertainly. Then, Twi' smiles and whispers somethin' into Rainbow's ear. "Ha! Great idea," Rainbow says. Then she flies to the DJ and asks him somethin' Twi' runs over to Rarity and whispers somethin' into her ear. Then, the DJ stops the loud music, and say, "Alright, listen up everypony! Gonna take it slow right now, and play some nice sloooow music. This is for all the couples here tonight." When I turn back to mah friends, Rarity is standing right in front of me. She holds out her hoof and asks, "May I have this dance, Applejack?" It wasn't what I was expectin', but I'll sure as heck take it. I take her hoof, 'n' lead her to the dancefloor. We start dancin' to this slow love song, but I don' care. I am with mah sugarcube. > TwiDash VS RariJack > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story: TwiDash VS RariJack Written by: RDFTW POV: Rainbow Dash I only have two bullets left in my magazine. I have to careful. Don't wanna miss. There's only two of 'em left. All of us are out of respawns. Twilight should be able to find Rarity. I told her that I have Applejack. I have to admit it is kind of boring waiting for one person to show up for Applejack. I mean, I'm a Pegasus. I can scan the whole area, and probably kill AJ easily. But, that's not part of Twi's plan. Heh, she's so awesome. She told me to keep my sights on the building where the intel was, so when AJ comes to steal it, BAM! Headshot. But, she told me to wait until after AJ gets the intel. You see it kind of takes forever to get the intel, and the building that it is in only has one door so you can only go in and out of that one door. So when AJ is running out of the door to get to her base, BAM! Head-...Oh, wait. Already said that. My thoughts are interrupted as I hear gunshots, and a scream. Twilight just got Rare. Ha! What a bad ass marefriend. I see AJ enter the building. She must be pissed. Her support got killed. Ha! After about a million minutes, I see AJ coming out of the building, with intel in hoof. I hold my breath, look through my scope, follow her with my sight at her head, and take the shot. BAM! She ran in front of a wall. A stupid wall. And, my bullet hit that wall. I facehoof, and I take off trying to catch her. Only one bullet left. I hear any explosion somewhere behind me. Twilight was killed by one of AJ's mines. Dammit! Now it's personal! I turn the corner that AJ took and see her aiming her assault rifle at me. I start to aim down my sights. Maybe I can quick-scope her for the final killcam. Oh, this is going to be so awesome! TIME! "Horseapples!" Applejack yells. "I was about to get ya!" "No you weren't," I strike back. "I was about to quick-scope you for the awesome final killcam!" "You wish," AJ starts, "You suck at snipin'. What makes you think you can quick-scope me?" "I don't suck!" "Yeah ya do." "Can we play a different game?" came a voice from my lap. I almost forgot Twi' was sitting there. "Oh, uh, sure we can," I say. "Who's turn is it to pick the game?" "Mine, darling," Rarity answers. She better pick a good one. When she's done taking a million minutes to decide, she pulls a game out and asks, "What's Marvel vs. Capcom 3?" > Hearth's Warming > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story: Hearth's Warming Writer: RDFTW POV: Third-Person "Oh my gosh!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she flew through the streets of Ponyville. "I can't believe I forgot a present for Twilight!" "I can't believe I forgot a present for my dear, Applejack," Rarity cried, sprinting alongside Rainbow Dash. Rainbow and Rarity, both dedicated to their marefriends, had both teamed up when they heard that both of them had forgotten gifts for there significant other. On Hearth's Warming Eve, not that many ponies were out. The only ponies that were out and about were the ones buying last minute gifts. Thankfully, for Rainbow and Rarity, there are few kinds of ponies like that. So, when they reached the Ponyville's outlet mall, there was barely anypony there. They were most likely getting ready to go to bed or taking a stroll. "Okay!" Rainbow Dash said, looking at all the different stores, "Which one do we go to first?" "Honestly, I don't know!" Rarity exclaimed. "We should see which stores are open first." "Oh, shoot! I-I remember Twilight said something about wanting to get a new telescope. But-" "But what, dear?" "I-I think the store is closed!" Rainbow said in defeat. "Shush, Rainbow Dash," Rarity whispered. "Ponies are looking." "I don't care!" Rarity sighed. "You said you think the store is closed? Why don't you actually check if it is close or not?" Dash blushed and said, "Oh, right. I'll go do that." "Good, and I will go look for that Red Ryder BB Gun, Applejack wanted." "Cool. Meet me back here, Rare!" "Good luck!" A few minutes later Rainbow Dash and Rarity met up at the same place they were a couple minutes ago. Dash hovers to Rarity, and looks at her, in defeat, "Forgot your bits too?" "Yep." Rainbow Dash hits the floor, and breaks down crying, "Now, I can't get her that nerdy thing she wanted!" Rarity also bursts into tears. "I can't get Applejack anything either!" "I'm so stupid! How could I forget my bits!?" "I couldn't even afford the stupid gun!" "She's gonna be so mad at me!" "Why does she even want a gun!?" "I mean, she has a nice looking telescope already! Why does she need another one!?" "I told her she is going to shoot her eye out!" "Girls?" Rainbow and Rarity stopped there crying and turned toward the direction of the voice. The alicorn princess and the farmpony were both staring at them, dumbfounded. "What are you doing out here?" Twilight asked. "It's freezing!" "Rainbow and I were trying to get you and Applejack last minute presents, because we forgot!" Rarity cried. "Yeah! And when we got here, we realized we forgot our bits!" Rainbow exclaimed. "So," Twilight started, "You two forgot gifts for us," she pointed to Applejack, "and you went last minute shopping to get us some?" Rainbow and Rarity both nodded there heads in unison. "Heh, might I say that is the most nicest thing anypony has ever done fer me?" Applejack asked as she approached the sniffling Rarity. "It-It is?" Rarity asked while looking up at Applejack. Applejack offered her hoof so Rarity could get up. "It sure is." Twilight offered a hoof to Rainbow Dash. "Oh, you girls. You didn't have to get us anything." "What? Of course we do!" Rainbow exclaimed. "It's tradition." "Heh, I think spending time with our marefriends on Hearth's Warming is a lil' more important than silly ol' gifts," Applejack said, "Wouldn' you say Twi'?" "It sure is," Twilight responded, "Now let's get you girls to the library. There's a warm fireplace, some hot cocoa, and maybe, just maybe, a little bit of snuggling." "All right!" Rainbow shouted while leaping into the air. Rainbow landed next to Twilight, extended her wing over her. She leaned into Twilight's ear and whispered, "I love you, Princess Egghead." Twilight giggled, and kissed Dash on the nose. "I love you too, Featherbrain." Rarity and Applejack were already leaning on each other. "You're so cute when you get all panicky like that," Applejack teased. "Oh hush," Rarity humphed, "Your'e lucky I love you that much to worry so much about your needs." "Heh," Applejack chuckled, "An' ah'm grateful." > Kids > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Story: Kids Written By: RDFTW POV: Third-Person "Go ahead. Run along children." Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle had arrived at a big, open field, with their children, so they could have a picnic together. Rarity told the children to run off and play on the field, so they could prepare the picnic without distraction from the foals. The four ponies picked their picnic spot under a large tree in the middle of the field. They needed to keep an eye on their children, and the spot provided shade. They moved at a slow pace while preparing the picnic. Their old age would not allow them to move any faster. But, they got it done, and after they were done with preparing the picnic, Applejack shouted to the foals, "Soup's on, everypony!" The foals returned to their spot under the tree, and began to eat lunch with their parents. After they were all done eating, the foals played in the field again while their parents cleaned up. But this time, Rainbow Dash, joined the kids and played with them. While the ponies were cleaning up, Applejack sighed happily while looking at her filly. "Ya know," Applejack began, "It's really nice to see them playin'. I really like watchin' o'er them." "Are you kidding me, Applejack?" Rarity asked. She turned to her daughter and said, "It really is a hassle when I am looking over her. Did you know that she gave me a hard time when I was giving her bath the other day?" Applejack chuckled, "Heh, that's my Apple Blossom." Applejack looked down at the grass, then back at her daughter. "It makes me feel young'r when ever Ah'm with her," Applejack started. "She makes me feel happy," Applejack turned to Twilight, teary-eyed, "Ah can't thank you enough for what you did to me 'n' Rarity. Without you, Twilight, we wouldn't have a foal right-" Applejack stopped mid-sentence when Twilight hugged her. "You're welcome, Applejack," Twilight whispered. When their hug ended, Twilight said to Applejack, "You know, Princess Celestia is the one who showed me the spell, right?" Applejack chuckled while wiping some tears from her eyes. "Well, ah figured." "She told me about the spell after I had sent a letter telling her Rainbow and I wanted a foal," Twilight said, "The Princess was delighted to hear the spell actually worked. Heck, she was almost as happy as us when she found out I was having twins." The three ponies turned their attention to Rainbow Dash, when they heard her laughing while she was flying toward them. When Rainbow stopped her laughing, she turned to Twilight and said, "Oh man, Twi', you shoulda seen Midnight. He was flying, 'cause I was teaching him right now, and he slammed into that tree over there, and that tree was filled with acorns, and then he came out with a mouth full of acorns." "Is he okay?" Twilight asked worried about the condition of her son's teeth. "Of course he's okay," Rainbow said, "I checked up on him before I went here to tell you. But, when I saw that happen I tried my hardest not to laugh." "Hey!" Twilight and Rainbow turned around to see their son, Midnight Dash, obviously angry at his mother, Rainbow Dash. "Mom!" Midnight complained, "I told you not to tell mommy!" Rainbow chuckled as she went to pick up her son in her hooves. "I'm sorry, baby," Rainbow said while nuzzling her son, "It was just too funny, I had to tell mommy." Midnight became more annoyed with Rainbow, when she called him "baby" and when she began nuzzling him. "Stop it, mom!" Midnight said, "Aurora and Blossom can see!" "Alright, alright," Rainbow said as she set down her little pegasus colt. "Go ahead and play with your sister and your friend. Tell them I had to clean up with the rest of the adults." "Okay!" Midnight shouted while running over to his sister and friend. "It amazes me that he is almost an exact copy of you, Rainbow Dash," Rarity said. "Yep," Rainbow said, "That's my boy!" Rainbow looked around at the mess that was still there. "What have you girls been doing this whole time?" Rainbow asked. "Looks like you girls haven't picked up anything at all!" "Oh, right," Twilight said as she looked around at the mess, "We were talking about the kids before you came over here." "Oh yeah?" Rainbow asked, "What about the kids?" "How grateful we were that Twilight learned that spell that was able for us to have foals," Rarity answered. "Oh yeah, that spell that gives you a stallionhoo-" Twilight stopped Rainbow by hitting her over the head. "Ow!" Rainbow screamed. "What was that for?" "It's a little rude saying that. Don't you think, Rainbow?" Twilight asked. "Oh, yeah, sorry," Rainbow said while rubbing the back of her head with her hoof. Applejack chuckled, "Ah was saying how Apple Blossom made me feel young again when I saw her playin'." Rainbow nodded her head in agreement, and said, "That's exactly how I feel about Midnight and Aurora. Midnight reminds me of a younger, daring me, and Aurora reminds of when Twilight was younger. Aurora sure does like reading and using her magic like Twi', and Midnight loves doing tricks." Twilight chuckled, and said, "Yeah Midnight also loves crashing into things just like Rainbow use to." Rainbow scrunched up her face while her wife and friends began laughing. When their laughter died down, Applejack looked at Rarity and said, "Ah know she gives you a hard time sometimes, Rare, but you 'n' ah know that she loves you." Rarity sighed and said, "I know, dear. She'll come around. Just like Sweetie Belle did." "Well, enough talking let's get this place cleaned up," Rainbow said. ------------------------------------------- After the four ponies were done cleaning up their picnic area, they started playing with the foals until sunset. Apple Blossom was falling asleep while sprawled on Rarity's back. Midnight and Aurora were already asleep. Midnight sleeping on Rainbow's back, and Aurora on Twilight's back. "Well this sure was fun, girls," Applejack said. "Same time next week?" Twilight asked. "You betcha," Rarity said. "Alright, see you girls later," Rainbow said while she and Twilight were walking toward the library. "Bye!" Rarity and Applejack shouted while going the opposite direction to the farm. "Guess we can't fly it home, huh, Twilight?" Rainbow asked. "Nope," Twilight responded. "Eh, that's fine," Rainbow said, "This reminds of when we use to walk at night the first months of dating." "Oh yeah," Twilight said, "Gosh, it has been a long time since we started dating, hasn't it?" "Yep," Rainbow said. They both walked in silence back home, very close to each other, trying not to drop their kids on their backs. ------------------------------------------- When Rarity, Applejack, and Apple Blossom returned to the farm, Rarity took a very sleepy Apple Blossom to the bathroom to help her get cleaned up and ready for bed. Rarity carried Apple Blossom to her bedroom to get her in her pajamas. She tucked Apple Blossom into her bed, and kissed her daughter on the forehead. "I love you, Apple Blossom," Rarity said. "I...love...too, mommy," Apple Blossom said. Rarity smiled, and closed her daughter's bedroom door. When Rarity turned around, Applejack was leaning against the hallway wall. "I told you," Applejack said.
