> Ch.1 The Beginning

Monster

That's what I was being called as I left Trottingham 

And guess what, I earned that title because I saved that stupid little town from a squad of changelings, hunting for love.

But enough about reasons, let me introduce myself.

I am Overkill, a Pegasus stallion with an ash-grey coat, a mane and tail so black they seemed to suck up all light around them, crimson slitted eyes and razor sharp teeth.

Weird Isn't it, my species is supposed to be a herbivore, I thought so to, that is until I hit puberty.

When it started it turned all my teeth razor sharp and made my eyes reptilian in nature.

But that is hardly the worst thing that happened then, when I was around fifteen years old I came across.... abnormalities in my bodily structure.  

For one I found out that I could change it, and no I don't mean punching my teeth out.

I found that I could reshape my body, at first I could only do so much as lengthen my legs.

Then it got more complicated... as the months after the discovery progressed I got better at shifting (the name I gave my abilities). 

I like most colts of my age thought dragons were awesome.

This let me to try and shift into one... instead something much more terrifying happened.

Instead of a dragon I turned into a black/purple-ish bipedal tough skinned behemoth, the colossus, 
as I had resorted to calling it, had hands, a leather like skin, huge bulking muscles and a hunched over type posture.

I of course was terrified at the start.... but found it to be pretty cool eventually.

The different forms I could shift into were very varied.

After I mastered my shifting abilities, I resorted to crime fighting in my home town of Manehatten.

That resorted to me getting my cutie mark, a flaming humanoid skull.

But my methods were, you guessed it, overkill.

I was sixteen at the time, I'm currently twenty five.

But enough about me, let's get back to the present.

"Why does this always happen to me" I grumbled to myself, "I saved them from those changelings for celestia's sake" 

As I continued walking for another eight hours I came upon a small town on the horizon... Ponyville... the last and only town (minus canterlot, but I wasn't going there because princess Celestia and Luna lived there) to have not rejected me and my abilities... yet. 

As I approached the outskirts of the town I, somehow, didn't notice the pink blur coming in from my right.

As this Pinkie Pie mentioned my lack of friends it ignited the last ember of a great fire of rage which caused me to snap and lunge at the (somehow still talking) pink blur and pin her to the ground putting my hoof over her throat making her stop talking...

"Look pinkie was it, I don't need any more friends" I said in an almost demonic voice,
"Now if you would just leave me alone and never talk to me again I won't hurt you more than I already am" upon her nodding I pulled back my hoof allowing her to breath 

When she stood up again her mane and tail had seemingly deflated and lost some of its color.

Not to long after she burst into tears and ran into town.

"So much for a good first impression" I said bitterly to myself, "guess I'll sleep under the stars tonight." 

I then searched for and found a cloud to sleep on, as my thought's drifted to the pink pony from earlier I started to feel sorry for her, albeit little.

With that thought in mind I slowly drifted of to sleep. 

The next morning I woke up to a massive roar in the distance. It didn't take me long to find the source, an ursa minor was walking through town, destroying buildng after building.
Not to long after I spotted a Rainbow maned Pegasus mare trying to kick it in the face... it wasn't working.
I then spotted another mare, this on being orange, trying to buck it into next week, this also wasn't working.
I decided I should help, I might be cruel sometimes, but I am still a hero... sorta

jumping of the cloud I started flying to the ursa, "need help" I said once I was close enough.

"no we got this" the orange one said in a thick Southern accent

"Obviously" I said bitterly

"Just get to safety dude" the Rainbow one yelled

"Okay, leave, the both of you, this is way out of your legaue, I got this" I yelled back 

"You sayin we aren't strong enough chump" the Rainbow one said getting up in my face

"Yes" I said calmly

"come on RD let's give this guy a chance" the orange one said 

"Fine" the Rainbow one said 

"Thanks" I said with a smug grin, and then proceeding in shifting into the colossus making the two mares jaws drop to the ground 

"Out of my way" I said in a much deeper voice
"How" the two proceeded to say at the same time 
the ursa took notice of my change and charged at me thinking that it finally had a decent opponent 

I then charged at the ursa at speeds something as big as me should not be capable of moving, with the momentum I was currently packing I released a devastating uppercut at the astral bears jaw, sending it back and immediately knocking it out. "That, is how you fight an ursa" I said turning back to normal and then proceeding to walk to the ursa's body to see if it was really knocked out, once I had my confitmations a lasso wrapped itself around my tail and then proceeding to pull me to the orange mare which had the other end of the rope in her mouth.

"Com on RD we gotta take this guy to twilight" she said.

"Yeah" the Rainbow maned one said

"I can walk you now" I said 

"Oh no you ain't getting away that easily" the Rainbow one said 

"fine I'll play along" I said 

three hours later
I was locked up in the basement of what I saw to be a library

"Come on twi, that guy just isn't natural" I heard someone outside say.

"Yeah, you can't let him out he'll rip us to shreds"

"I can't say I believe you girls, changing the bodily structure... that is impossible"

"Humor me" I yelled 

Upon me saying that the door opened an a purple alicorn walked in, "You may come out" she said.

"Thanks" I said bitterly, I then walked out of the basement and into the main room of the library, there I saw six mares.


"So these must be the famous mane six I have heard so much about" I said with a fake smile revealing my razer sharp teeth, which caused al mares present to gasp, the smile faded once my eyes met the eyes of a certain pink pony.

"YOU?!" we both yelled at eachother, her mane deftlated and tears came to her eyes causing all mares present to rush by her side trying to console her.

"what's going on Pinkie why are you upset?" the yellow and pink one asked, Pinkie the proceeded to point a hoof at me.

"what's wrong with him" the purple one asked 

"H-h-he s-strangled me yesterday" she said bursting into tears again.

"WHAT!" all mares (minus Pinkie) yelled 

The Rainbow one then proceded to puch me in the muzzle or at least trying to because I bit her tearing of a piece of flesh, then spitting it on the ground, which caused them all to gasp (again).

The purple and white one fainted, the alicorn wrote a letter which got sent by a small dragon, not too long after a hard thump was heard from outside, the door blasted open revealing the one I didn't want to see right now: princess Celestia, and she was furious, "WHERE IS HE!!!" she yelled, the mane six pointed at me, once celestia saw me she threw me outside with her magic.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!" she yelled 

"Oh boy" I said

As Celestia and me stood before each other I couldn't help myself but to think of why she's here, sure I strangled pinkie 
but that- my flow of thought was interrupted when I saw the door to the library close.

"So you're gonna give them enough time to get the elements eh?" I said, turning into the colossus, you should have seen the look on Celestia's face, priceless

Once she recomposed herself she spoke. 

"Yes and they are going to rid you of the dark influence that is controlling you!" Funny they actually thought I was possessed.

"Okay then, let's get on with that distraction!" I yelled at Celestia before charging and trying to uppercut her, she saw this coming and weaved around my massive fist, then punched me in the face with her right-front hoof sending me back a good twenty feet. 'I didn't know alicorns were that strong' I thought. When I stood up again I sprouted a pair of wings on my back and flew up in the air, Celestia staid on the ground idly waiting, when I reappeared I fell through the cloud cover and slammed both of my fists in the ground, I was aiming for that winged pain in the ass but she backflipped out of the way.

"You're pretty strong for a mortal" Celestia said.

"But not strong enough to resist the elements!" The purple alicorn from before yelled now with a tiara on her head and the other five all had necklaces, "You do now that the elements of harmony is one super purifier right" I said "exactly!" Celestia yelled as the mane six floated in the air, a rainbow chain started connecting them, once it reached the tiara a rainbow beam shot out of the middle arcing high through the sky and then hitting me, it began swirling around me as a tornado and then... it exploded.

"We did it!" They all yelled together until a very evil and dark laugh rang from the explosion site, freezing the seven mares in place. "You didn't think it would be that easy did you!"   Once the smoke cleared they saw something that horrified all of them, instead if the normal colossus they saw something similar, but different. Instead of black/purple it was now a fiery red with orange spikes everywhere. 


"What do you want" Celestia said sternly but with an undertone of pure fear, this being had not only survived the elements of harmony but was strengthened by them.

When she said that I turned back to normal, "I just want to be accepted, this was all a misunderstanding" I could hardly keep myself from laughing, I can't believe I said something so stupid.

"misunderstanding my flank! You strangled Pinkie and bit of a piece of my hoof!" The rainbow one said. 

"If I bit your hoof you should already be dead because of the toxin my body naturally makes, so I never bit you" I said calmly.

"What do you mean I never bit you, I can see that you bit of a piece of my hoof!!!" She then proceeded to inspect her hoof, but found that nothing was wrong with it, "how?" She said completely stunned.

"It was an illusion" I said calmly
"But that is not possible only unicorns can make illusions!" The purple alicorn said confused.

I then went and grew myself a horn making me now look like an alicorn "does this explain it" I said.

"In short, no" purple said "because that doesn't explain why you strangled Pinkie!"

"In short, when you have been crime fighting for nine years and have been banished from pretty much every town you become cruel real fast purple" 

"My name is twilight sparkle" she said sternly.

"Good for you" I said.

Upon that twilight face hoofed, "okay then, how were you capable of withstanding the elements?" She asked

"The elements purify right" she nodded "well, if there is no corruption they strengthen purity, I was never corrupted or evil, just cruel, so the elements strengthened me" 

They all stood slack jawed at my explanation "how do you know this?" Twilight asked 

"I'm probably the smartes pony in Equestria" I said matter of factly 

"Now now twilight is the smartest of all ponies I know and I know that if anypony is the smartest it's her" The orange one said.

"Okay this obviously isn't working, let's go to Canterlot and we'll discuss it there, okay" Twilight said. All mares nodded to that 

"Fine" I grumbled.

We then each got packing and left to canterlot not an hour later.

> Ch.2 The trip

The first few hours of the train ride were spent in silence, mostly because the mane six still didn't trust me. "How about we introduce ourselves, what do you think?" Twilight asked me
"Fine, I guess that if I have to spent more time with you I better know your names" I replied
"Good, who wants to start?" She asked us "mememe!" Pinkie said with a slightly forced smile
Upon twilight nodding she started "well I'm Pinkie Pie and my special talent is making ponies smile!" She practically yelled "I'm Rarity and my special talent is finding gems and implementing them in fashion" Rarity said calmly "I'm... Fluttershy and my talent is talking to animals" Fluttershy whispered "Cool, talking to animals" I said, upon that Fluttershy's mood brightened a little.
"Ah'm Applejack and my talent is apple farmin" Applejack said. "I'm Rainbow Dash and my talent is racing and speed" Rainbow said in a voice that just dripped with ego. "My name is Twilight Sparkle and my talent is magic in general" Twilight said, after that the six looked expectantly at me
"Fine" I grumbled. "My name is Overkill and my talent is saving ponies and beating bad guys with massive overkill" I said. "You saving ponies? Then why did you strangle pinkie and made us think you bit my hoof" Rainbow said "Like I already said if you save everybody but earn the title monster because your different, you become cruel" I said. "I thought you would know that by now, you are supposed to be the fastest Pegasus right?" I asked with a smirk on my face. "Well duh I am the only Pegasus to ever do the sonic Rainboom!" Rainbow said with a smirk of her own. 
"Wrong" I stated matter of factly. "What do you mean wrong, no one is as fast as me!" She said
"I am, I'm even faster then you" I said calmly, "Twilight how long would it take Rainbow to get to Canterlot from here?" I asked "about twenty minutes why?" Twilight said "okay now how long until the train is there?" I asked "an hour or so." A smirk came to my face "tell you what I'll race you there" I said to Rainbow "you're on!" Rainbow said thinking this would be an easy win. "Okay then, see you on the roof" I said jumping out of the window and flying to the roof. A minute or so later Rainbow and Twilight flew up to meet me. "You ready" I asked Rainbow "you're gonna lose" she said, her voice practically dripping with venom. "Rrrriiight" I said with disbelief as she landed next to me. "3....2....1....GO!!!" Twilight yelled at the top of her lungs. As soon as we heard go Dash and me blasted of towards Canterlot. 

I gotta say she was pretty fast... but not fast enough, with that thought in mind I shifted my body so that my front legs melted together in a sharp tip cutting the air in front of me, my back legs did the same my head became more angular and fit perfectly in between my front legs. I was now as aerodynamic as can be and it showed as I blasted past Dash who had gotten a lead on me when I shifted. "What the!?" Rainbow said before pushing even harder. Before long I reached the sound barrier and it was pushing me back, I continued pushing but not hard enough to actually break the barrier. 'Come on just a little harder' Dash thought 'almost.... almost' BOOM!!!! As soon as I heard that bang and saw Dash well dash past me I pushed through the barrier myself, BANG!!!! 
I looked behind me and saw my own Rainboom, a black and red circle was making its way outward from where I pushed trough, and a black and red line was being left behind as I whipped past Dash, you should have seen the look on her face priceless! 
The rest of the race was pretty one sided, I then saw the train station which we agreed to be the finish I made one final push and.... I won. "How... did... you do... a... Rainboom" Dash said in-between pants once she arrived. "I can be superior to anyone if I want to" I stated simply 

45 minutes later 
"Ah finally the train is here" I said once I saw the train approach the station. "Finally!" Dash said. "So who won?" Pinkie asked excitedly once she and the rest if the girls left the train. "I did" I said, but once I saw Rainbow's sad expression I quickly added, "But don't worry I won't brag about it or tell anyone besides us seven" I said "oh thank you thank you thank you!!" Dash said giving me a hug "you don't know how much this means to me!" Upon the sudden show of affection I ALMOST grew spikes all over my body but was able to suppress the battle hardened reflex, "don't worry about it, I meant to prove a point, not steal your title" I said patting her on the back "now could you let me go, you're a little too close for comfort" I asked "Right" Dash said letting me go.
"Okay, let's get to the castle" Twilight said, more then amused, we then started making our way to the castle. While we were walking trough town I noticed the mane six weren't walking so far away from me as they usually do. When we got to the castle we immediately went for the throne room 
"Twilight my most faithful student, I see you all got here safe and sound" Celestia said once the doors to the throne room opened "and you have brought... I'm sorry but you forgot to introduce yourself the last time we met" she said motioning to me "I'm Overkill" I said "well overkill I would really like to get to know you better but I'm sure we're all tired so I think we'll hold introductions for tomorrow" once she said that the mane six left to their rooms "and you" she said before I left the room. I turned around, "I got my eyes on you" she said with a glare that could kill a cockatrice "I'll see you tomorrow" I said with a smirk before going to my room and then going to bed  

> Ch.3 Breakfast with a Demo and a Deal

The next morning I was woken up by a knock on the door, I just turned around in my bed and continued sleeping. But the knocking didn't stop 'oh right I'm in Canterlot castle' I thought as I stood up out of bed. "What" I said as I opened the door revealing a very formal looking unicorn stallion.
"The princess has requested your presence at breakfast sir" he said, I thought about it and eventually said "Fine, lead the way". He then turned around and began walking, I just followed. "In here sir" he said stopping in front of a pair of double doors. "Thanks" I said before proceeding trough the door. Once in the room I saw a massive table, it's occupants all talking to each other. Among its occupants were: Celestia, Luna, the mane six, a unicorn stallion with a white coat and multi tinted blue mane and a pink alicorn. Once they noticed me the room fell silent. "So this must be the stallion I have been hearing so much about" the white stallion said before proceeding to fire a lightning spell at me. Once it hit me my eyes glowed an eerie crimson before going back to normal. "What the buck is wrong with you!!!" He yelled before firing again hitting me square in the chest. At the spot he hit me my fur began to retract into my rapidly black and purple turning skin. Celestia noticed this and put a shield around me. "Why are you protecting him!" The stallion yelled at her. "That's why" she said pointing at me. Everyone then looked at me, once they're eyes met my body they didn't see me per se, rather they saw a small bipedal with only a left hand, instead of its right lower arm it had a long blade. The being than cut itself free before charging at the stallion. "Overkill no calm down!" Twilight said getting in front of the stallion. 
"Out of my way Twilight" I said calmly, surprising everyone present that I could still talk.
"No! I won't let you hurt my brother!" She yelled in my face.
Everyone else at the table was curios to see how this would play out.
"Your brother?" I said backing away. "Yes, this is my brother Shining Armor. Shining this is Overkill" She said. "Why did you attack me" I asked Shining still in my stalker form. 



"You punched my aunt, plus you're to dangerous to keep alive"
Upon him saying this all mares present (which is a lot) gasped "Shiny I thought I taught you better than this" the pink alicorn said "were are my manners I'm princess Cadence" the pink alicorn evidently called Cadence said. "See, at least she has manners" I said to Shining while pointing at Cadence with my blade. "Do ya'll mind turnin back to normal sucarcube" AJ asked me. 
"Of course" I said turning back to normal. "Okay you are now officially the second coolest pony ever, next to me of course" Dash said with slightly blushing cheeks. "Okay now that the peace has been somewhat restored, take a seat Overkill" Celestia said to me. I walked to the table and sat down between Celestia and Dash. "Even though you strangled Pinkie and almost cut my brother to pieces, I still hope you will allow me to research your abilities" Twilight asked me. "That won't be necessary" Luna said "because I have already figured out how he got them" she proceeded.
"Really! How!" Twilight practically yelled. "His Life-force is tainted by chaos magic" Luna explained.
"Did somepony say chaos!" Discord said after he teleported into the room. "Yes, have you tainted Overkills Life-force with chaos magic?" Luna asked. "Who?" Discord replied, Luna motioned to me. 
"Yes, why?" My eyes then became red and I yelled, "YOU DID THIS TO ME!!!" I then teleported in front of him. "I see his powers developed nicely" Discord said calmly. "Nine years! Nine years, do you know what happened in them! I was only called a monster, for nine years straight!" "Overkill calm down!" Celestia said sternly. I turned to her with my still glowing red eyes meeting her pure white ones, signaling she was willing to defend everypony present at all cost. "Want a demo of how powerful I am" I asked everypony, they nodded "meet me in the gardens in one hour, bring the elements." I said before teleporting away. Everypony present gulped, they might want a demo but they didn't now how powerful he really was.

One hour later
I was currently sitting in the middle of the Canterlot gardens when I saw them approach: Celestia, Luna, the mane six all with their respective elements, Shining, Cadence and Discord. "Finally there you are" I said my eyes still glowing red. "Overkill darling why are your eyes still red?" Rarity asked me. "Once the lust for a battle appears, it won't back down" I said.  "Okay, I understand that" Dash said. "Okay you stand on the west side of this clearing, and I stand on the east, then you all fire your strongest attacks at me, I'll hold em of and beat you" I stated matter of factly. "Ya'll are gonna beat all eleven of us, on your own?" AJ asked skeptically. "Yes" I said, before walking to the east side signaling the conversation was over, the rest walked to the west. 
"Okay charge up your attacks" I said turning into the colossus. Once they were all charged up they nodded, I nodded back. "3...2...1... FIRE!!!" I yelled at them. As soon as I said that they all released they're attacks: a golden beam from Tia, a silver beam from Luna, the usual rainbow from the elements, a violet beam from Shining, a baby blue beam from Cadence and a white and red beam with a candy cane pattern from Discord. Once they got to me I thrust my hands out catching the various beams and holding them of, surprising all of them. I smirked before proceeding to shift into the Apex Colossus. "HELL WAVE!!!" I yelled as my hands glowed red and black. Before shooting a black and red beam, pushing the beams of the others back to the middle where they had a power struggle. Eventually mine won out and raced at the others knocking them out instantly... but not before they could all release a scream of pain. Guards were swarming the area in a matter of seconds. They quickly spotted me as I was still in the form of the Apex colossus.
"Earth guards! Restrain that monster!" The captain yelled. "Unicorn guards, hold it to the ground!" He yelled again. The earth an unicorn guards quickly had me restrained as I didn't want to hurt them. "What is your business here monster?" The captain asked. When he said monster my eyes began to glow red and I snapped out of my binderies grabbed the captain in my massive hands and threw him across the garden, I wanted to charge after him but was stopped by a purple flash in front of me. "Overkill calm down you'll hurt them if you continue with this!" Twilight said as she was now in front of me. "Fine, but tell them that if they call me a monster again there will be casualties!" I said turning back to normal surprising all guards that I could speak. One if the Pegasus guards saw this as an opportunity to get me and flew at me and with his speed kicked me in the head releasing a sickening bone crunching sound and throwing me back ten feet. "Yeah! Got em!" He yelled in triumph. "Why did you do that!?" Twilight yelled at the guard. "That pony was a threat to national, so we had to kill him" the guard stated like it was it was the most normal thing in the world. "Overkill, Overkill are you okay!" Twilight yelled running to my side, once she was close enough she saw something that almost made her vomit, I was lying there with my skull and face horridly deformed. But it was already slowly stitching itself back together, although she didn't notice. When Twi was next to me she checked my pulse... there was none. As she noticed that she started crying over my body, the guards tried to ask what was wrong and why she was crying over the body of an enemy of the country. She didn't say anything, she just continued crying. One by one the other elements, princesses and Discord awakened to her crying. Dash awakened first and when she noticed Twilight crying over my body started crying as well, the rest quickly followed. 
Fluttershy and Rarity started crying as well, AJ took her trusty Stetson of in respect, Pinkie was shaking all over the place saying there would be a big doozy sometime in the future. Tia, Luna and Cadence closed they're eyes in a moment of respect, and Discord just stood there with an all knowing smirk. "What is going on with his face?" Luna said, upon that they all opened they're eyes and saw that my face was almost finished stitching itself back together. "What the hay?" Dash said.
Once my face was fixed I gasped loudly, revealing that the eye on the right side of my face where I was hit wasn't red anymore, rather it was blue, still slitted, but blue. "Overkill! You're alive!" Dash said as she hugged the live out of me. "Too close for comfort, too close for comfort" I said.
Dash then let, reluctantly might I ad, go. "But how?" Twi asked "nopony can come back from the dead" she said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You were dead, you didn't have a pulse" 
"That's because when I'm severely wounded my heart starts pumping way slower to conserve energy for the healing to kick in" I said "where's Shining Armor?" I asked Cadence. 
"All those years of trusting on shield spells left him pretty weak on bodily defense, so he's still out cold" she explained. "May we have your attention please" Celestia started, we all looked at her "Luna and I have been discussing and have a proposition for you Overkill" she said to me. "Okay, what's up?" I asked. "We would like to hire you as the personal guard of princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends" "How much" I asked bluntly "five-hundred bits per month" "thousand" "seven hundred and fifty" "deal" we then shook each other's hoofs, the rest stood slack jawed at the fact I just made a deal for 750 bits a month with the princess. "Looks like I'm staying in Ponyville" I said to the girls. "And you'll be getting 1500 bits upfront so you can buy a house and get yourself up and running" Luna added. "Yes! Tomorrow we'll have a welcome to Ponyville party for you!" Pinkie said excitedly. We all just smiled at her antics, when I smiled my left eye flashed blue before turning crimson once again. Cadence noticed this and smiled thinking that when my eyes are blue I'm happy. 

Me and the girls then got packing and left to the train station. "I can't wait to hang out some more Overkill, plus finally having a stallion in the group makes us look less like fillyfoolers" Dash said
"Rainbow Dash, a mare should never talk like that" Rarity said sternly. "You want me in your group?" I asked surprised. "Of course we do" AJ said. "But why, I strangled pinkie for fucks sake"
They all flinched at my language. "But we now know why you did that, plus we now also know we shouldn't call you a... you know" Twilight said  "Monster" I filled in for her. "Exactly" the rest of the walk to the station was spent in silence. Once on the train, we all said together around a table. And the girls started talking, I, I was just thinking of how my life might brighten for a change. I smiled at the thought. 
> Ch.4 The Raptor and an Infection

The train entered Ponyville station a couple hours later.
"Ah, home sweet home" AJ said. "Yeah, definitely" Dash replied. "Well I'll see you guys later, I gotta buy a house" I said. "Yeah, see you later" they all said. I than ran of. "It's nice to see him happy for once, well sort of" Rarity said. "Definitely, he did say he was banished from pretty much every town except Ponyville" Twilight concluded. The girls then parted ways and went to their homes.

The next day 
The girls woke up to the sound of... what exactly? In the distance, they all gathered at the library.
"What is that awful noise?" Rarity asked. "I don't know girls but I think it's Overkill working on his house" Twilight said. "But shouldn't we be hearin hammerin an not... this whatever it is we're hearin" AJ remarked. "I guess, Rainbow could you go look for Overkill?" Twilight asked. "On it!"
Dash said before blasting out of the window. Five minutes later Dash returned. "He's on the edge of the Everfree forest, near the path that we usually take" Rainbow said. "What!? But that's dangerous!" Fluttershy said. "We gotta go help him!" Rarity said. "Okay, lead the way Rainbow!" Twilight said. "Alright follow me!" Dash replied. Fifteen minutes later they were at the edge of the Everfree, there they saw me as the stalker cutting wood. "Overkill what are you doing?" Twi asked.
"What does it look like, I'm building my house" I said. "Okay, but why are you using all of these weird materials?" AJ asked referring to the pile of energy crystals and copper wire. "I'm making it so that my house doesn't need candles to be lit, come back in three days I'm sure I'll be done by then" I said to them. "Okay, see you then" the girls said. "Bye" I replied. The girls then walked away leaving me to my work.

Three days later
The girls were already on there way to my house. "I'm curious to see what his house will be like?" Pinkie said. "Me too, I hope it's as awesome as mine" Dash said. 
When they reached my house they saw a house just like any other.... right next to a 30 foot high, 100 foot long and 70 feet wide building. "WHAT THE BUCK!!!" Dash yelled. "What is that?" Twilight said. "There you are, I was already expecting you" I said as I came out of the small house. "Overkill, what is that" Twilight said pointing at the giant building. "Oh that, that's my workshop" I said. Upon that Twilights eyes sparkled (pun intended). "A workshop! What are you going to build there?" She asked. "Before I was banished from Trottingham I was working on a prototype tank. I figured I could continue my work here" I answered. "What's a tank, sounds awesome" dash said
"A tank is a weapon of war that uses high explosives to eliminate threats, well the old one did, I am currently working on another version that shoots lightning" I stated like it was the most normal thing        in the world. "A weapon for war! Why would you make something like that!" Fluttershy yelled. 
"Because it was an order from the princesses, they asked me to help the war effort with my machines" I said. "But there hasn't been a war in ages" Twilight said. "You see that's were you're wrong, if you would pay more attention to politics you would know that Equestria is currently at war with the griffons" I said. "But there is no war with the griffons!" Twilight said. "But that's because fourteen years ago Celestia requested a truce with the griffons, and there has been peace ever since. But Luna expects them to stop that truce when it has been 15 years since. So they asked me to make weapons" "And when is that" Twi asked. "Nine months" I replied. "Okay, how did you make all this in only three days?" She asked. "I put up a time bubble around this piece of ground, for me it feels like I have been working for three months strait" I said. They all stood slack jawed.
"Whatever" Dash said. The other five all nodded. "Okay, we were going to ask if you want to come to our weekly pet play date" Fluttershy asked. "I'd love to, REX!" I said as I called my pet. A small blue raptor walked out of my house. "What is that?" Twilight asked. "This is a raptor" I replied, as Rex walked next to me. "What's a raptor, I've never heard of such an animal before?" Fluttershy asked. "That's because this is the only one on Equis" I said. "Only one, but there have to be more if this one's here" Twilight stated. "True but Rex wasn't born, he was made" I said. "Made" the girls all asked. "Yeah, made. I created him some time ago, and has been my pet ever since" I said as Rex nuzzled me in my neck, since he was about as tall as the average pony. "What does he eat?" Dash asked. "Meat, he's a carnivore" I said. "Carnivore!?" Fluttershy yelled as she jumped behind AJ. "Don't worry, he doesn't eat ponies, only small rodents. He occasionally goest hunting in the forest" I said to calm Fluttershy. "Oh, okay" Fluttershy said softly.

A half hour later
The seven of us were already at the hill were the pet play date would be. Twilight had taken Owlishis, Fluttershy had taken Angel, AJ had taken Winona, Pinkie had Gummy, Rarity had Opal, Dash had Tank and I had taken Rex. The seven pets were happily playing now. "Mind if I sit next to you?" Dash asked me. "Not at all" I replied. She then sat next to me. "Rex sure is awesome" she said. "I know right" I replied again. "How does it feel?" Dash asked me. "How does what feel?" I asked back. "When you change form" she said. "Oh, hmm good question" I said as I shifted my right-front hoof into a wolfs paw and back. "I guess it's more alien than anything else" I concluded.
"Wanna try it?" I asked "What do you mean?" Wanna try shifting?" "I'd love to but I can't do that" she said with a sad expression. "But I can" I stated simply. "Yeah, you, not me" she said sadly.
She really wanted to try shifting. "Tell you what. I practiced shifting in the last three days and can make it so that you can shift for one hour. But not as good as me, sorry" she stood there with her jaw on the ground, that slack jawed expression was quickly replace by a huge grin before she tackled me. "Really you can do that!" She asked me. "Yes but only if you get of me" I said chuckling. "R-right" she said with a slight blush while she got of me. "Okay, are you sure you want this. It will hurt for the first minute or so when it pre-programs all knowledge on shifting into your brain" I warned her. "Of course!" She yelled. "Okay here goes nothing" I said. I then place my right-front hoof on her forehead. It started glowing blue soon enough. We stood like that for a minute before I took my hoof away. "Feel anything?" I asked her. "No not ye-" she cut herself of as she clutched her head and grunted in pain. Around 30 seconds later she snapped fell over and released a scream of pain. I immediately rushed by her side hearing the rest of the mane six yell her name, I cradled her in my hooves which were glowing a soft green as I tried to take away the pain, making her stop screaming and squirming. This only lasted a couple of seconds as I received a strong pair of hind hooves in my side sending me back while letting go of Dash causing her to scream again. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!!!" AJ yelled at me. "I'll explain after I am done with her" I said calmly. "No you ain't getting anywhere near her!" She yelled at me.
"Please AJ don't make me do this" I said. "Do what, kill all of us!" She yelled.
I then shifted into the colossus, ran past AJ and to Dash, startling the rest which were standing next her. I picked her up in my massive arms sat down and continued what I was doing before. Dash quickly stopped screaming and squirming and before long was lying calmly in my arms. 
"You're taking away the pain" Fluttershy said. "Yes, that's what I've been doing all along" I said.
"What exactly were you doing?" Twilight asked me. "I asked her if she wanted my powers for an hour, she said yes, I warned her for the pain that would come because the knowledge on how to use the powers would immediately be imprinted in her head" I replied. The five of them gasped as they looked at Rainbow seeing as she now had fangs. "And why does she have those?" Rarity asked me. "It's a side-effect of the powers. The chaos magic looks into your head, finds what you're afraid of the most and partially turns you into it, becau-" I was cut of when Dash woke up and bit me in my neck, burying her fangs in it and started sucking. I grunted in pain. The rest was frozen in shock. "Dash" she flinched. "Let me go" I said sternly. Upon that Dash pulled back allowing me to see her now crimson eyes. Which quickly widened when she realized what she was doing just now. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I didn't know what I was doing it was just instinct!" She practically yelled. "It's fine you were just doing what was necessary for your survival" I reassured her. "Oh, okay" she said. "You're gonna stay at my place for the week" I said to her. "What why?"
"Because somepony just had to interrupt me while I was healing you, I overshot with the amount of chaos magic I gave you, which means you're gonna be stuck like that for the rest of the week" I stated simply. "You mean I'm gonna be a vampony for a week!" "You might be. Or you're stuck like that for the rest of your live. It depends on mine and your luck" I concluded. "What, she's gonna be stuck like that for a week, maybe more!" Rarity asked me. "Yes" I said. She promptly fainted.
"I think we should leave a little early don't you think?" Twilight said. We all nodded. "Oh, I can't wait to give a Rainbow-is-now-a-vampony party!" Pinkie said bouncing all over the place.
Dash and I just smiled at her antics, the both of us revealing our sharp teeth. "Com on Rex let's go home" I said as I called Rex. "Yeah come on Tank" Dash said as she called her pet, we then went on our way to my house.
When we were walking home I couldn't help but notice that Dash was staring hungrily at my neck, this was sure gonna be a long week. 
> Ch.5 The Week of a Lifetime. Day one

"Ah home sweet home" I said as Dash and I went inside my house, Rex and Tank not far behind. 

"So this is your house huh? Cool" Dash said. 

"Just wait 'till you see the workshop. You might not be an egghead like me or Twi but I'm sure you'll love tinkering around in there" I then proceeded to lead Dash to her room. "This is were you'll sleep" I said standing in a small room with a bed and closet. 

"You built all this in three days!?" She said in utter shock. 

"To me it felt like three months but yes" I replied. I then proceeded to walk out of the room. 

"Hey Overkill?" 

"Yeah?" 

"Am I going to be stuck like this forever?" Dash asked me. 

"Do you want a real answer?" She nodded "I don't know. The shifting powers will disappear after a week. The vampony part might not though" I said. When she heard me say she could have those fangs for the rest of her live she began softly crying. I immediately walked to her and embraced her. "Now now. It's not all bad" I said as I tried to console her. 

"Yes it is, I'm going to be stuck like this forever"  she said. I just did my best to comfort her, I have never seen her so... vulnerable, it's almost li- my flow of thought was cut of as I felt Dashes fangs sink into my neck, I didn't really mind it actually. After about a minute or so she let go and fell on the bed. Vast asleep. I felt the two puncture holes on my neck already stitching themselves back together. I just smiled at the sight of Dash sleeping, she looked pretty cute actually. I then went to bed myself not to long after.

The next morning
"Hey Overkill wake up!" Dash yelled. 

"Hah!" I yelled as I fall out of my bed and on the ground with a loud thump. "What the hell did you do that for!" I asked. 

"Hahahahaha!!!!! You should have seen the look on your face!" She practically yelled as she tried, and failed, to hold back her laughter. 

"Hardy har har, very funny. What do you need?" I grumbled. 

"Well there is a shop in town that sells Wonderbolts related stuff an they just received a new poster design and" 

"you want to get it?" I asked. 

"Yeah, exactly!" She said. 

"Fine, we'll grab breakfast when we're in town I guess" I said. 

"Yes! But can I first, you know" she said pointing at her fangs.


"Fine" No sooner did I say that and she tackled me against my bed and started sucking my blood. 

One hour later
We were on the outskirts of town walking calmly. It was a nice fall day and the sun was shining, not a cloud in the sky. When we got in town we saw everypony just minding his/her own business. "The monster has Rainbow, everypony run!" A mint green unicorn mare yelled. Pretty much the entire town looked our way before all making a mad dash for their homes, all the while screaming in terror. Within minutes the town was deserted. 

"What's this all about?" Dash said. She then heard a loud thump and saw that I had punched the ground with my right front hoof which already looked like the right arm of the colossus. "No Overkill if you do this now you'll never be accepted here!" Dash yelled. I just sighed as I changed my hoof back to normal. "That's better, wait here" She said again before galloping to a seemingly random house. A minute or so later she came back with the same mint green unicorn from before. "Overkill this is Lyra, Lyra this is Overkill" Dash said shoving Lyra within five feet of me. 

"H-h-hi" Lyra said quivering under my emotionless gaze. 

"May I ask you one question?" I asked, she nodded. "Why did you call me a monster?" I asked simply. 

"A-about a week ago we say you turning into that thing and punching princess Celestia. We figured you were hostile to the throne and not a real pony so it kinda got worse from there on" Lyra explained calming down, albeit little. 

"Okay, that's makes sense" I said. 

"It does?" Lyra said. 

"Yeah I have been called worse things before, a couple years ago some bookworm thought I was Sombra incarnate, he even charged at me with a fake crystal heart thinking it would kill me" I said bluntly. 

"Sombra incarnate? You might look a little hellish and have weird powers but that's a little over the top isn't it?" Dash said. 

"I know right, ridiculous" I replied. 

"You're actually pretty cool you know that? Wait here let me tel the others to come out of hiding" Lyra said running to the house she came from. After a couple minutes she came out followed by a grey furred blonde maned and cross-eyed Pegasus mare, a grey furred and black maned very formal looking earth pony, a cream colored brown and pink maned earth pony, and an alabaster and electric blue unicorn with glasses. "Derpy, Bon-Bon, Octavia and Vinyl Scratch, this is Overkill" Lyra said introducing me to them and vice versa. 

"Hi, I'm Derpy" the grey Pegasus said with a goofy grin. 

"Hi, might I ask you all one question?" I asked the four mares, they nodded. "Are you afraid of me?" I asked bluntly. Minus Vinyl they all nodded. "And why do you not fear me?" I asked Vinyl. 

"Cause I have no reason to" she said. 

"Okay good, good. You're smart, you shouldn't fear me cause of some rumors" I said. 

"Don't mind me asking but why is your right eye blue and your left eye red?" Octavia asked me. 

"I actually have no idea" I said simply. I did actually but I wasn't going to make them think I'm soft.

"Okay" she replied. Before there we could start a real conversation a massive roar was heard before the ground began shaking in rhythm with loud thumps. 

"What was that?" Vinyl said. She got her answer in the form of an Ursa Major bursting through the tree lines of the Everfree. It stood there looking around until it's eyes settled on me, it released another roar before slowly walking to me whilst trying to intimidate me by showing his razor sharp teeth.

"Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me!!! An Ursa Major really! Can't I once have a normal day" I yelled. "Dash stay here the rest... Run" I commanded simply. They all complied by running back to the house they came from. "You ready for your first fight with your new powers?" I asked Dash.

"Are you sure we can beat this guy?" Dash asked me with a worried expression.

"No, cause we're not gonna. We are going to have to kill it" I said like killing a bear hundred times bigger than anypony was the most normal thing in the world. 

"Oh no I ain't killing an innocent Ursa no matter how much it destroys the town!" She replied. 

"Dash, an Ursa Major has such strong bodily defense that you can't simply break a bone of it. The only way you're gonna do any damage is killing it... got that?" I said. She nodded. "Good now shift into a stalker, only sharp things can get through its thick skin so the colossus won't work" I stated shifting into a stalker, Dash soon followed and shifted into her own version of the stalker, her version was blue and white and actually had wings. "Good now follow my lead" I said before sprinting of to the Ursa's legs delivering a few cuts here and there whilst the Major tried to squish me by trying (and failing) to stand on me with its massive feet. Dash quickly followed by flying up to the bears neck and slashing away at it, not that it was doing that much but she was choosing speed over power. After some time of not doing that much damage to the bear I was sick of it and decided to try something I haven't tried before. 

"Okay I'm sick of this doing nothing, time to go Apex!!!" I yelled as I was engulfed in a red glow, a couple seconds later my skin turned a dark crimson and various tendrils sprouted from my back and connected themselves to my right upper arm, my left arm grew orange spikes over it giving me more varied methods of attack. 



Once the transformation was complete I jumped al the way up to the bears neck and yelled. "BOLT SLASH!!!" No sooner did I say that then my blade started sparking with electricity and glowed blue.



Once the attack hit I immediately sliced straight trough the bears neck splattering silver colored blood all over me, Dash and the houses around us. The body just stood there for a couple seconds before falling to the ground... dead. The next couple of minutes were just spent in silence, that silence was broken by the sound of hooves stomping on the grass reached Dash' and my ears. A second or so later the rest of the mane six came into view. "Oh my gosh are you alright we heard some weird noise and came here as soon as we could!" Fluttershy said uncharacteristically loud. 

"We're fine thank you vary much" I said.

"What happened here?" Twilight asked. Dash and I just stepped aside revealing the body of the dead major which they surprisingly hadn't seen yet.

"Okay, that certainly explains why y'all are looking like that, speaking of which could y'all change back to normal?" AJ asked once regained her composure. 

"Sure" Dash and I replied turning back to normal. 

"Why are you all covered in that silver stuff?" Pinkie asked us.

"Oh this... this is Ursa Major blood" I said simply. When I said that Rarity (once again) fainted. 

"Ursa b-b-blood?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yeah it was looking for me because I presume it's the parent of the Minor I hit last week, so we had to kill it" I said simply. 

"Kill it! But why!?" Fluttershy asked now furious.

"You can't just beat an Ursa Major and expect it to run with its tail between its legs, it's kill or get killed with an Ursa Major, so this was the only logi-" I was cut by some ponies wearing blue suits arriving at the seen and saying.

"Don't worry your friendly neighborhood Wonderbolts... are... here" the leader (a fiery orange mare) said whilst finding out that the problem was already dealt with. "Wha?... How?..." She proceeded to say. Another light blue Wonderbolt stallion noticed me and said.

"Overkill you son of a bitch I swear every time something as big as this happens and we're sent to stop it, you're already there and one step ahead of us" he said with an annoyed expression.

"Hey, you guys should be thankful I killed this Ursa for you, you certainly wouldn't have been capable of doing it Soary" I said to Soarin. 

At that the leader tried (and failed) to hide her laughter.

"I tolled you to never use that nickname!" Soarin said with an annoyed expression. 

"Sorry it's just so fun little brother" I said with a smirk. "Oh and Spitty you shouldn't laugh at your brother" I said with an ever growing smirk.

"Hey I tolled you to never use that nickname as well!" Spitfire said. 

"Wait, brother? As in you are family of not only Soarin but Spitfire as well!?" Dash said with a shock look on her face.

"Not genetically, I'm their half brother, my father married their mother" I said. Dash still had a shocked expression. 

"What that's awesome as hell!!!" She yelled with a huge grin. 

"It has some benefits" I said cryptically. We then dived in a small conversation telling about my childhood with Spitfire and Soarin. 

"*gasp* We should totally have an Overkill saved the town party!" Pinkie said.

"I agree, let's see if you can still sing Overkill" Spitfire said with an all knowing smirk.

"You can sing!?" Twilight practically yelled. 

"I used to" I said. I only received sad faces. "Fine I'll sing at that stupid party" I grumbled. 

"YES!!!" Spitfire, Soarin and Pinkie yelled. 

A couple hours later the party was at full swing at Sugarcube Corner. Everypony was randomly assigned to certain stations and the rest of town had come as well, making the place pretty crowded.

"And now the main event you've all been waiting for, Overkill is going to sing a song of his choice to you all, come on stage Overkill!" Pinkie yelled from her spot at the middle of the stage. I then (with some (not a lot) reluctance) came on stage. "Okay Overkill, what are you going to sing for us?" Pinkie asked me

"I am going to sing a song that has been in my family since it was created around two thousand years ago. It is called; Monster" I said softly before whistling, a minute or so later Rex came trough the door with a record in his claws. The ponies inside were shocked to see a reptile easily bigger then them. "Rex throw me that record would you" I yelled before Rex threw the record at me, I catches it in my right hoof which had already turned into a hand I then proceeded to shift into a bipedal form (anthropomorphic) shocking all residents minus the mane six. "Thanks" I said. Rex then went and got comfortable by lying next to Dash. I then threw the record at Vinyl who catches it in her magic before putting it on her turn table. As the record started turning a steady hard rock tune began playing. I got myself ready and...



After the song ended it was silent at first, then one pony began clapping, then another, then another, pretty soon the entire building was almost shaking with all the hooves being clapped on the ground. I just stood there and bowed with a smile on my face. The party went back to normal after that and lated well into the night, when only the mane six an me were left we began talking about how each of them were doing.

"Hey overkill?" Twilight asked me. 

"Yeah" I answered. 

"What did you mean by that that song has been in your family for two-thousand years?"

"Just like I said it, it's been in my family for two-thousand years" I replied.

"Could it have originated when Discord was defeated?" She asked again. 

"Fine you're on to me" I said.

"What do you mean?" Twilight asked while the rest all gave me funny looks.

"Although it was indeed Discord who gave me my powers, he did that indirectly. You see, when Discord still ruled Equestria he had a bodyguard. He was called: Chaos Bringer, he was an earth pony, but not just any earth pony, he had a special gene which only occurs once every generation. When that gene is strengthened with chaos magic it will imbue the bearer with the ability to shape shift. See what I'm getting at?" I asked twilight.

"You're a relative to this Chaos Bringer!" Twi practically yelled. 

"Exactly" I replied simply. 

"But how can rainbow have those powers as well?" Rarity asked me.

"I made it so that she has those abilities naturally for one week, I for that matter rely on a specific gene for my powers" I explained. The next minute or so was spent in awkward silence.

"Hmm Overkill" Dash said breaking the silence.

"Yeah?" I asked her.

"I'm... thirsty" she whispered with a blush because she was within 5 feet of her best friends.

"Oh, okay, go ahead" I said simply. Rainbow nodded before walking to me. 

"Might I ask what is going on here." Rarity asked.

"You do remember the events of yesterday right?" She nodded. "Well since she's now a vampony she has to suck blood, and since you five aren't strong enough (no offense by the way) she has to suck mine" I said like it was normal. 

"Oh, okay" Rarity replied looking whiter than usual. Dash was now standing in front of me, I turned to her and she said. 

"Are you sure you're okay with this and all, I might have sucked your blood three times before but... you know" 

"Of course I am, you're a vampony now so you have to do this to survive, so I have absolutely no problem with this" I replied blushing a little. The rest of the mane six were watching curiously as to what would happen next. Dash nodded and slowly came closer to me, all the while blushing. Once she was close enough we looked into each others eyes and no words had to be spoken, we both shifted into an anthropomorphic form and Dash slowly leaned forwards to my neck, once close enough she exposed her fangs and bit into my neck whilst embracing me in her arms, I just hugged her back. And at that moment a small fire ignited in the both of us, the fire of love. The five other mares just looked at the display with happy smiles. 

After a couple minutes we broke (reluctantly might I add) apart, we just continued staring into each others eyes for a couple more seconds. After which our eyes widened in realization of what this must look like. "Eh... That was something" Dash offered.

"Yeah, right" I said after we both reverted back to normal. "I think I hear Rex calling bye!" I quickly said before I ran away in a failing attempt to make the situation less awkward.

"Did somepony see that!" Pinkie said.

"See what pinkie?" AJ asked.

"Overkill's right eye is blue as well!" Pinkie replied. 

"You like him don't you?" Rarity asked Dash whilst completely switching topics.

"What!? Don't be rediculues" Dash replied.

"She definetely does" Twilight said. 

"Fine maybe a little and so what!?" Dash replied in an agitated tone. "Now if you'll excuse me I gotta go!" She continued before rushing out the window.

"She really likes him" Rarity said. 

"Probably" Fluttershy offered. 

"Well it's already late we should probably go home" Twilight concluded.

"Yeah, ah'ma hit the hay, see you guys tomorrow" AJ said before going home. The others left to their homes pretty soon after all the while thinking about how this might end.
> Ch.6 The Week of a Lifetime. Day two

That night.
"damn" I grunted as I turned around in bed. I hadn't slept al night. I just had this annoying as hell fuzzy feeling in my chest and it won't go away. "Fuck it I can't sleep anyway" I said after I decided I wasn't going to fall asleep and thus, I was going to work. I jumped out of bed and walked around the house until I came to the door separating the living part of the house from the workshop. "C.R.O.W. ready project L.B. would you?" I asked seemingly to myself once I came into the workshop. But soon enough,

"Certainly sir" a voice came from seemingly nowhere. Once the voice was done speaking the lights flickered on in the giant hall, around a quarter of the workshop was dedicated to storage of various projects, out of one of the huge doorless closets came a giant metal box carried by a crane hanging from the ceiling. The box was positioned in the middle of the remaining three quarters of the hall. "Project L.B. delivered and ready for progression sir" C.R.O.W. said. 

"Thanks C.R.O.W. and could you bring me two kilograms of element one-eighty-seven please, and while you're at it tell me how much we have left after that?" I asked.

"Certainly sir, after this you will have exactly 398 kilo's left" 

"Thanks" I then proceeded to bury myself into my work until early morning.

The following morning
Dash was woken up by the sound of thunder ringing through the house, "what the? There isn't another storm planned until... one week from now" Dash said getting out of bed. "Morning Tank" she said when she walked past her pet tortoise. She continued walking until she found Rex lying in front of a massive steel door. When he noticed her he walked to her and nuzzled her in the neck. 

"What's up boy?" Dash asked. Before she could get a real answer the doors blasted open and I flew out. "Oh my gosh Overkill! Are you alright!?" She yelled. 

"I'm fine, never better. Literally" I said with the biggest grin Dash has ever seen (which is impressive because she knows Pinkie). 

"What were you doing in there?" She asked me.

"Working" I replied cryptically. 

"On what?" 

"Sir Overkill is working on project L.B." Came the voice of C.R.O.W. from past the door.

"Who was that?" Dash asked me.

"That was C.R.O.W. it stands for Computer/Robotically Operated Workshop" I said.

"Yes, sir Overkill made me in those three days he worked on the house"  C.R.O.W. said.

"And what might project L.B. be exactly?" Dash asked.

"Project Lightning Bolt, is that tank that shoots lightning I told you guys about two days ago" I replied. "Wanna see?"

"Sure, why not" Dash replied. We then walked in and I said,

"Voilà" whilst pointing to a green vehicle, the tank had (of course) tank treads and a cylindrical turret on the top that ended in a golden sphere. 



"What does it do?" Dash asked me.

"Why don't I show you?" I said guiding dash to a firing range. "Wait here" I said before running to the tank. I opened a hatch in the side and then proceeding to climb in.

"C.R.O.W. execute systems check" I said whilst trying to get comfortable in the prototype tank. 	

"All systems functional" C.R.O.W. Said from within the tank cockpit. 

"Good, power up tritanium generator" I said again.

"Commencing activation of element one-eighty-seven generator" C.R.O.W. replied. His voice was followed by a steady hum emanating from the back of the vehicle. 

"Okay baby, steady steady" I said as I rode the tank to the firing range. When Dash noticed the tank actually moving her jaw fell to the ground, as she had low expectations. I positioned the proto-tank in front of a couple gryphon dolls. Once it was lined up properly. I took a deep breath and,

"Reroute all power to the storm generators" I said.

"Power has been rerouted to storm generators" C.R.O.W. said. When he was done talking an antennae slid out of the back of the tank and pointed straight up where it met a storm cloud hanging over the tank, when it hit stray bolts shot everywhere, one particularly big one strikes right on the antennae and the raw electrical energy was redirected to the internal storage. 

"Redirect lightning to tesla coil" I said. When I said that a blue glow traveled upwards from the base of the turret, when the entire turret was glowing I took a deep breath, opened the hatch and yelled, 

"Take cover!" Dash didn't need more warning and ducked behind the chest high wall around the firing range. 

"FIRE!!!" I yelled after I closed the hatch again, the sphere on the end of the turret started glowing blue as well. A second or so later three separate bolts shot out making a thunder sound and hit the gryphon dolls instantly making them explode. 

"The test was a complete success sir" C.R.O.W. said. I opened the hatch, walked out and looked at the dolls (or what was left of them). 

"I can't believe it worked" I said with a dumbfounded expression

"Overkill? Are you alright?" Dash said walking to my side.

"It actually works" I said again, a second or so later the same huge grin from before came to my face. "IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!" I yelled as I hugged the life out of Dash causing her to blush like all hell. 

"Eh, easy there pall" Dash said patting me on the back, when I let her go she looked at me with a look in her eyes that just screamed 'I need something'. 

"You're thirsty again I presume?" I asked her.

"Not only that but I need you to pick up Scootaloo from school" she said simply.

"Why?" 

"She was going to stay at my place for the weekend but since I'm now practically living here she'll have to come here" 

"Okay, what does she look like?" 

"She's about a head shorter than me, has an orange coat and a purple mane and tail"

"Any cutie mark to speak of?" 

"No" Dash answered simply, "oh and she might bring two more filly's from school, both have no mark either" 

"You got it" I replied and after that our morning routine of Dash sucking my blood started once again.

11.45 in the morning
"Sir if you are going to pick up this Scootaloo from school you'll have to get going" C.R.O.W. warned me. 

"Why?" I asked getting away from under the lightning-tank as I was trying to make it more safe to stand near it.

"Don't you remember sir? On Fridays school is out at twelve pm"

"And how late is it now?"

"11.45 sir"

"Oh shit I have to get going! C.R.O.W. open take-of hatch!" I yelled

"Already done sir" 

"Thanks see you later. Bye dash!" I yelled in a perfect copy of the RCV (royal Canterlot voice). Before blasting out of a circular hole in the ceiling whilst a black and red trail followed me. "Ah there it is" I sighed after spotting the school on the horizon. I landed with a loud thump that threw dirt up in the air.

"Show off" some Pegasus said.

"Screw you" I said back, the Pegasus in question flinched at my harsh language. A couple minutes later the school bell rang and a horde fillies and colts bursted out of the door. After about a Minute of looking I found Scootaloo talking to a yellow and red earth pony filly and a white and pink/purple unicorn filly. 

"Who are you?" The unicorn asked in an annoying as hell squeaky voice.

"I am Overkill, I was sent bye Dash to pick up Scootaloo" I said simply. 

"You were sent by Rainbow Dash?" The Pegasus I thought was Scootaloo asked. I nodded.

"Why?" The earth pony asked. 

"Dash is staying at my place for the week so Scootaloo has to come to my place as well" I explained.

"Okay, Sweetie, AB, you guys coming?" Scootaloo asked the others.

"Okay" the two said in unison. 

"Alrighty then hop on" I said. They obliged and jumped on my back. "Hold on" I said.

"Why?" Applebloom asked. I just shifted into the apex colossus, the filly's understandably screamed, but didn't jump off. 

"What are you!?" Sweetie asked. 

"I'm a mutant now happy, just hold on" I said in an annoyed tone. 

"This is so awesome!" Scootaloo said. After that the three fillies each took a hold of one of the spikes on my back.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yes!" The three said in perfect unison. I nodded before running of in high speed. The fillies (of course) yelled there ass of. After about a minute of running we stood before my house. 

"Okay, hop of" I said, they hopped of. 

"That was so awesome!!!" Scootaloo said. 

"hey Scoots" Dash said walking out of the house. "He didn't scare you did he?" 

"No he just became this... thing and gave us a lift" Sweetie explained. 

"Okay that's good, he does that sometimes" Dash said. 

"Come on let's go inside" I said after turning back to normal. 

"Yeah, let's go" Dash agreed. After that we all walked inside.

"Remember me to make C.R.O.W. increase safety measures when they're here" I asked.

"Sure" Dash chuckled at my crude but all too true humor. When we were inside I excused myself and walked back to the workshop but right before I could enter a triple colored blur flew by me and went into the workshop yelling.

"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS TECHNICIANS! YAY!!!" After that Dash walked to my side.

"You told them didn't you" I asked Dash without looking at her.

"What can I say, they are very persuasive" Dash replied. 

"Screw you" I joked before walking into the workshop. What I saw inside broke my nonexistent heart. The fillies were jumping all over the place playing with my tools and machines. 

"Oh no it's a nightmare! C.R.O.W. lock those three in a anti-grav field and bring them here!" I commanded.

"Certainly sir!" C.R.O.W. replied. No sooner did he say that and the fillies were picked up in a blue glow and floated over to me. 

"What in tarenation!?" Applebloom said. The other two soon followed and were already busily yelling. 

"SILENCE!!!" I yelled in my own version of the RCV. "From now on you three are not allowed in my workshop!  Got that!?" 

"Okay mister Overkill, we're sorry" the three excused themselves.

"You better be" I said bitterly. "C.R.O.W. lead these three to their rooms" I continued

"Certainly sir" C.R.O.W. said as a blue hologram of an earth pony appeared. "Follow me" the hologram said. The CMC obliged and followed the holo-pony.

"Don't you think you were a bit to harsh just now?" Dash asked after following me back into my workshop where I continued working on the lightning-tank. 

"No" I answered simply. 

"Okay then. Don't you have to train?" I just looked at her with a funny face showing that my right eye is red again. "The running of the leaves is Monday and that's three days from now. Why is your right eye red again?" 

"The chaos magic has a way of showing that the host is happy, the happier I am the brighter the color pallet of my eyes, the more bad and cruel my thoughts, the darker the colors. Got that?" I explained.

"Yeah sure, so what were your original colors?" Dash asked.  

"My original colors were blue eyes, snow-white mane and tail and an emerald coat, my colors stayed that way for a short while after I discovered my abilities, but when everybody started calling me a monster my colors darkened" I explained.

"Everypony" Dash said.

"No everybody, I didn't only travel all across Equestria but the planet of Equis as a hole" I explained before sliding back under the tank continuing my work.

"Need help?" Dash asked. 

"Sure, come here so I can give the knowledge you'll need to help me" I said beckoning Dash over to me. Dash walked to me with a slight blush. "Okay, hold still" I said as extended my right hoof to her forehead" 

"Will it hurt?" Dash asked with a slightly fearful expression.

"If it does I'll take the pain away" I reassured her, she nodded. Once my hoof met her forehead it started glowing blue, Dash was heavily blushing all the while. A minute or so after I pulled my hoof back she started grunting in pain as her wings were enveloped in a white glow, when her wings were completely covered the glow extended to the rest of her body, the glow brightened to the point where I had to close my eyes. 

A couple minutes later the glow lessened to the point where I could open my eyes, when I did I saw the most beautiful thing I ever did see. The chaos magic I used to give her the knowledge had the side effect of making her a full vampony. Dash stood in front of me, and holy hell did she look amazing, her wings were now bat wings and had increased in size, but not overly so, her muscles had bulged out a bit, but once again, not overly so, her fangs were more obvious, her eyes were now slitted like mine and her mane and tail were a tint or two darker, if I had to use one word to describe how she looked, there is no such word.

"Beautiful" I said with a dumbfounded expression. 

"Overkill, what's up? Why are you staring?" Dash tried to ask, but her question fell on deaf ears as I finally found out what that fuzzy feeling was... love. 

"Oh, s-sorry. Come with me you gotta see this" I said as I led Dash to a shiny/reflective piece of scrap metal.

"Oh my gosh!" Dash said once she saw her own reflection.

"I know, amazing" I said still slightly in trance from the now even more beautiful mare before me.

"Amazing!?" She said blushing heavily, although when she said that there was a hint of pure happiness in it, "weird you mean!" She continued. "Can you reverse it?" 

"I can try" I said with a little sadness. I then placed a hoof on her forehead. After a couple minutes I gave up. "Sorry, I can't" I said with a little sadness.

"Ugh, well shit" Dash said chuckling sadly. 

"Well that's something we can agree on, I can give you the ability to put up an illusion with a special pendant?" 

"Yeah, you do that" 

"On it!" I said before running of.

A half hour later
"Okay I had C.R.O.W. reprogram this piece of tritanium so that it'll hold up an illusion of the original you, it's also enchanted with an infinity matrix" I said once I came back to Dash.

"So that it'll hold up the illusion indefinitely" Dash clarified. 

"I see the knowledge is paying off. Oh and, one more thing, whilst wearing this pendant the shifting powers will be suppressed as well as your newly acquired knowledge on engineering" I explained.

"Okay, so what does that mean?" Dash asked me.

"It means that as long as you're wearing this you'll need to take it off to really work and/or fight with me" I explained.

"Okay I can live with that" Dash said. 

"Okay hold still" I said as I held the pendant in my hoofs, the necklace itself was actually nice looking, the chain was a nice silver/blue color, and the tritanium pendant was and shone in a beautiful shade of cobalt blue. I surprisingly gently lowered it over her head. Once in place the pendant glowed a bright white and within seconds Dash looked like her old self again. 

"Ah, much better" Dash said with a slight smile. "Do I still have to suck blood?"

"Yes" I answered. She looked a little downcast at that. "Don't worry, I still don't mind it" I reassured her with a slight blush.

"Okay" after that we just stared.

"Come on let's go get the girls" Dash said breaking the silence.

"Y-yeah" I said blushing heavily. After that we walked out of the workshop to the room of the Scootaloo where the CMC's were staying. When we got there we saw the three of them sitting on their bed.

"Girls, come here for a sec" Dash said to them. The three of them walked wordlessly to her. "I want you to say your sorry to Overkill, okay?" 

"We're sorry" they said in perfect unison. 

"Apology accepted" I said.

"Now let's go have some fun" Dash said.

"Fun!?" I tried to say before the fillies started clinging to me and Dash.

"YAY!!!" They yelled. 

"Let me go!" I yelled, they jump of me but then started clinging to Dash who was glaring daggers at me, I just smirked back. After that followed an entire afternoon full of pranks and fun, supposedly. At around five pm Sweetie and AB left to go home, after that diner and Scoots went to bed at nine.

"Finally she's sleeping" I said as I closed the door to Scootaloo's room.

"Yeah" Dash said standing next to me. "So what now?" Dash continued.

"How about... I teach you about some of the forms you can shift into and what they do?" I asked.

"That sounds awesome!" She replied. I signaled her to follow me to the workshop. 

"C.R.O.W. open takeoff hatch" I said once we came into the workshop.

"Of course" C.R.O.W. said before a hole opened up in the ceiling.

"Follow me" I said before I took of through the hatch. Dash followed soon after. 

"Now you already know about the colossus and the stalker right" she nodded. "Okay a more basic one is the bullfrog" I said before I shifted into a frog like thing.



"Eew" Dash said with a disgusted expression.

"I know right, now the bullfrog can spit corrosive acid so I can't demonstrate it on the roof" I said turning back to normal. The rest of the night was spent showing many more forms (which you guys won't see till a later chapter) and just increasing the quality of our bond. We went to bad late in the night, and since Scoots was sleeping in Dash' room she slept in my bed, next to me.
> Ch.7 The Week of a Lifetime. Day three

The next morning
I was woken up by somepony knocking on the door... hard. "Yeah yeah!  I'm coming!" I yelled as I jumped out of bed forgetting the fact that Dash was sleeping next to me.

"Where are you going?" She asked. The knocking returned. "Oh, right" she continued. I just grunted before I walked to the front door. As I opened the door I saw princess Luna of all ponies standing in front of my door.

"And what are you doing here?" I grumbled. 

"You don't talk like that to the princess!" Luna said.

"Okay who are you and what have you done to Luna?" I asked.

"What are you talki-" she was cut off by me lunging to her and pinning her to the ground.

"I am going to give you one more warning to drop that disguise! You better act on it!" I said as I turned my right-front hoof into a blade. 

"Okay!  Okay! Jeez sorry dude!" She said in a voice not hers. The Luna imposter then went up in green flames and when the fire disappeared I looked at the changeling in question, then for the third time in two days a huge grin spread over my face. In front of me stood a changeling with golden slitted eyes, emerald green chitin and azure wings. The son of Chrysalis himself, and my long time friend; Switch Kick. 

"Switch long time no see!" I said as I jumped of of him. "How are you doing?" 

"I'm fine, no thanks to you!" He joked. "I see you haven't changed a bit?" 

"Oh things changed, like the fact I'm now paid 750 bits per week to guard the elements of harmony!" I boasted. 

"Really!?" 

"Yes, and that's not all. When I first came to Ponyville I was hit by them, and guess what... they strengthened me!" 

"Dude really!? You gotta show me!" He practically begged. 

"All in due time Switch, all in due time" I replied cryptically. "Come on in" I said motioning for the door. When we got inside I asked, "want some coffee?"

"Sure why not" he replied. As we walked into the kitchen I saw Dash and Scoots sitting there drinking a cup of hot chocolate. When Dash saw Switch standing next to me she immediately took a defensive stance in front of Scootaloo. I took my own stance in front of Switch.

"Now Dash before you jump to conclusions this isn't one of those changelings that attacked Canterlot!" Dash stood up normal as if to say 'continue'. "Rainbow Dash I want you to meet my long time friend Switch Kick" I said as Switch walked past me and to Dash. 

"It's nice to meet you Rainbow Dash" he said as he held his hoof out. Dash reluctantly complied by shaking it.

"How do I know if I can trust you?" She asked. 

"When I was just a hatchling I was dumped at an orphanage in the human world" switch said.

"The world beyond the magic mirror in the crystal castle" I clarified.

"Exactly. I lived the first five years of my life in that hellhole, after that I was adopted by the Luna from that world, when I was seventeen, in other words five years ago, Twilight Sparkle came through the mirror and because of it I got my changeling powers back, when Twilight came back here I followed to learn of my real heritage, I was captured when I came through the mirror on this side. I was eventually released as they had no evidence against me. That is when Overkill found me, he taught me how to control my powers and we have been best friends ever since, and I don't use my powers of disguise like the usual changeling, I use them to become various characters from the culture of the human world and with them fight crime" Switch explained. 

"Yup, but where have you been for the past two years?" I asked.

"The last time the gateway opened was two years ago, I had to go see mom, cause I promised her to always come visit whenever it opened, and I got full permission from Princess Celestia to always be allowed to use the mirror whenever it opened. After I came back you weren't at the meeting place in the forest, after that I went looking for you for two years until I gave up and went here, I saw this huge building and just knew it was you" Switch explained.

"Oh, sorry" I said sheepishly. 

"Anything interesting happen while I was gone?" He asked.

"Well Dash and I did slay an Ursa Major two days ago, and Dash will have the same powers as me till next Wednesday" I explained.

"Same powers? Then shouldn't she look different than the usual pony?" Switch asked.

"Yes, and she does. Dash would you?" I asked. 

"Fine, Scoots would you mind going to your room please, I don't want you to see this" Dash asked.

"Sure!" Scoots said as she walked to her room. 

"Okay, here goes" Dash said as she took of the necklace for the first time, when it was off she put it on the table as she glowed white, after a couple seconds she stood there in all her vampony glory. 

"Well, that's certainly... something" Switch said. 

"Yeah" I said in the same trance as yesterday. 

"Overkill? Yoohoo!" Switch said waving a hoof in front of my face... no response. "Watch this" he said smirking. He then punched my in my side knocking the air out if me.

"What did you do that for!" I yelled at him. I got my answer in Dash blushing heavily, and Switch laughing his ass of. "I was staring wasn't I?" 

"You should've seen the look on your face! And hers once she noticed you staring at her all cavepony like, priceless!!!" Switch said before continuing with his laughing spree. 

"Y-yeah, priceless" Dash said as she put the pendant back on reverting herself back to normal. 

"Well, what do we do now?" Switch asked.

"Well my idea for the best course of action is... that we gather the rest of the girls here to tell them about your 'condition' Dash" I said.

"Yeah, that's probably the smartest thing to do isn't it?" Dash said.

"Okay let me get the rest if the girls then okay?" 

"Yeah" 

"Switch I want you to stay here, got that?" I asked

"You got it, if you need me I'm on the roof napping, bye!" Switch said before leaping out of a window. 

"I'll see you later" I said to Dash before I walked out of the house. 

"Yeah bye" Dash said with a small smile. 'So he does like me' she thought.

I was currently flying over the town on my way to Sweet Apple Acres as that was the farthest and I could walk back home and with a small detour pick up the girls. As I flew over the Acres I was looking through the orchards for AJ, I found her in the west orchard bucking trees with a red stallion. "Hey AJ!" I yelled. At that she looked up and saw me flying down. 

"Well hello there sugarcube, what's going on?" She asked.

"Rainbow send me to get you all, she wants to tell you and the rest of the girls something important" I explained. 

"Mind if I go with him bro?" She asked the stallion.

"Nope" he answered.

"Lead the way" AJ said to me. I nodded before I walked away to get the rest. 

A half hour later
Dash was standing in the middle of my workshop and C.R.O.W. had taken project L.B. and put it back in storage. The rest and me then walked in. "We're here" I said. 

Rarity was the first to speak after that, "Darling where did you get that amazing necklace?" Rarity asked. 

"Overkill gave it to me, but that's besides the point I want to show you all something" Dash said shedding a small tear. I walked over to her and put a hoof on her shoulder.

"It's for the better" I said with a small smile, she smiled back. 

"Thanks" 

"What's going on, y'all are creeping me out" AJ said. 

"Promise me you won't scream" Dash asked, they nodded. "Pinkie promise" they did the movements in sync. "Okay here goes nothing" Dash said. She then took of the necklace and gave it to me, within seconds she was a vampony again. When the rest saw their best friend in this state they all got shocked expressions on their faces. Rarity shed a few tears, Fluttershy cowered behind AJ who bore a stern expression, Twilight and Pinkie both had a look of interest on their face. 

"Darling what happened!?" Rarity asked running to Dash, but was stopped by Dash lunging at her only to be stopped by me. "Rainbow Dash? Is that still you?" 

"Partially" Dash said. "It's still my memories but beyond that... there is a vampony who can change the form of her body and is a genius in engineering" She continued.

"Genius in engineering?" Twilight asked.

"The reason that she is now a full vampony is, because she wanted to help me work yesterday I had to give the knowledge necessary to do so, I did but it also made her a full vampony" I explained.

"So you did this!" AJ said running at me and bucking me in the chest sending me pretty far back. 

"No don't do this!" Dash yelled with tears in her eyes as she went to stand in front of me.

"Get out of the way sugarcube, all I want to do is buck him into next week" AJ said bluntly. 

"No! I won't let you!" Dash yelled again.

"Me too!" Came the voice of Switch Kick from the door, they all minus Dash looked at the changeling in question with shock.

"What is that changeling doing here!?" Rarity asked.

"Protecting Overkill that's what!" Switch said flying next to Dash. 

"And me!" C.R.O.W. said as the lightning-tank rode up besides Dash with the holo-pony floating above it.

"Why do y'all protect him!?" AJ asked. 

"Cause he's my only and best friend!" Switch said.

"Because he created me!" C.R.O.W. said.

"Because... I like him!" Dash yelled as she shifted into her version of the stalker.    

"So who would win? An all seeing A.I. two shifters and a changeling with knowledge from a world beyond our own versus the elements of magic, kindness, honesty, laughter and generosity?" I asked as I jumped out from behind them, shifted into a weird thing with claws and wings and hovered over them. 



"Why don't we find out" AJ said as she jumped towards me.

"STOP!!!" A loud voice came as AJ and I were captured in the air by a golden glow and blue glow respectively. When we turned our heads to the source we saw Celestia and Luna standing there.

"We are very disappointed in you all!" Celestia and Luna said in sync. 

"Overkill if you want to keep your job you will not attack the elements! Otherwise we will have to fire you and make you an enemy of the state!" Luna said sternly.

"Fine! *sigh* C.R.O.W. put project L.B. back in storage would you" I asked.

"Certainly sir" C.R.O.W. said. When the crane put the storage unit with the tank away a loud thump was heard, followed by another that shook the very foundation of the workshop. 

"What was that?" Rarity asked.

"I'll go look" Luna said.

"C.R.O.W. open takeoff hatch" I said.

"Already done sir" C.R.O.W. replied. Luna then flew out of the hatch, a minute or so later a loud scream was heard.

"LUNA!!!" The mane six and Celestia yelled. Celestia flew out of the hatch followed by Dash. A couple seconds later they came back with Luna in tow.... well, what was left of her anyway. Before us lay the broken body of Luna, her body was bend and broken beyond recognition. Rarity (as usual(once again)) fainted. 

"What happened!?" I yelled as I ran to Luna's body. 

"There is a huge dragon outside! We think it attacked Luna!" Dash said.

"Please! Can you save her!?" Celestia asked/yelled at me. 

"I'll do my best! C.R.O.W. bring Luna to the medical bay, and stabilize her!" 

"Certainly sir!" C.R.O.W. said as Luna's body was enveloped in a soft blue glow before there was a flash. When we opened our eyes again she was gone.

"WHERE DID YOU TAKE HER!!!" Celestia yelled in the RCV.

"She was teleported to the medical bay! Any movement would have only made it worse!" I said. "Now if you don't mind I have a dragon to kill! C.R.O.W. activate the scram cannon!" 

"Already done sir" he replied as a cannon easily bigger than Celestia rose from the ground. "Need I remind you that it's only a prototype sir" he continued.

"I know it's only a proto and that it might blow up in my face but this is the only weapon we have that can take down a dragon!" I said as I jumped behind the controls of the cannon.

"It might do what!?" Dash yelled.

"Blow up" I said simply. The platform on which the cannon stood then rose up through the hatch in the ceiling. When I was on the roof I saw a giant dragon easily 200 feet tall standing around 400 feet away from the workshop.

"Hey freak! Over here!" I yelled as I fired the cannon at the place the right wing protruded from its back, when the heated ball of lava hit it went clean through the joint and ripped the wing of, the behemoth dragon roared in pain and fury as it stormed at me. 

"That's the spirit!" I yelled as I fired again. The ball of lave cut of an arm causing the behemoth to fall over in pain. "Burn baby burn!!! Hahahahahahaha!!!" I yelled as I fired multiple times more killing it. When I was done there was no dragon corpse to speak of, only a mountain of flesh, organs and bones. The cannon then lowered back into the workshop where I jumped of off the cannon as it retreated into the floor.

"Princess Luna is stabilized and ready for surgery sir" C.R.O.W. announced.

"Can you save her?" Calestia asked again. 

"Before I give you an answer, the surgery I'm going to do has a mere five percent survival rate, and when it does pay of the patient will be... different" I said.

"Different how?" Twilight asked. 

"Different as in partially machine" I said, a nerve wrecking silence filled the room.

"WHAT!!!" Celestia yelled in the RCV. 

"With your permission I would like to start the surgery, and when it is complete she will be completely battle ready for when the griffons attack" I said with a stern expression.

At that Celestia closed her eyes in a moment of thought. "Do it" she eventually said.

"The surgery will be over in four hours, I advice you to go back to you daily lives and come back in three and a half hours. Dash would you do me a favor and bring Scootaloo home, Switch I need you to stand guard on the roof, see if any other dragons come here, and if so... deal with them" I said with a serious expression. They all nodded and left after that.

"Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into?" I asked to no on in particular.

"That you now have the life of a royal on your shoulders sir" C.R.O.W. said.

"Yeah I guess so" I said as I teleported to the medical bay.

Three and a half hours later
The mane six and Celestia were currently sitting in my workshop, not a single one of them talked as they were all hoping that Luna will make it out alive. 

"I'm sure Overkill will do it, he's certainly smart enough... right?" Twilight asked breaking the silence.

"Of course he'll do it, he's the one who made an entirely new species in general!" Dash said. 

"I certainly hope he can save her life" Celestia said. I then teleported into the middle of the workshop. 

"Is she alright!?" Celestia asked me. 

"Yes!" I answered with a huge grin.

"Can we see her?" Twilight asked.

"Not yet, she needs rest" I replied. Their smiles faded away at that. "Sorry, but like I said. She needs rest, tomorrow you can all see her" 

"Very well then" Celestia said with a sad expression. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow then" she continued dropping the formalities. 

"Yeah see you all tomorrow" I said with a sheepish smile. They nodded and left to their respective homes. Dash and I went to bed an hour or so later as it was around 9 pm when I brought them the news. 

An hour or so later a green and a glowing orange eye opened up in the medical bay, before closing again, seemingly in thought.

> Ch.8 The Week of a Lifetime. Day four, part one

The next morning, 9 am. 

That morning Rex came walking into my room, now you may ask 'how?' well, Raptors, Rex specifically, are smart, very smart, so smart even that they know how to open doors, so yeah, so much for privacy. Rex walked up to my sleeping form and used one of his claws to make a small gash in my left-front hoof, which was lolling over the edge of my bed, waking me up. I lazily opened one eye, ignoring the pain of the wound, it'll heal over the next minute or so anyways. "Somethin' wrong Rex?" I asked the blue raptor. 

Rex made a sound akin to a low pitched thrill, coupled with a slightly sad look in his green eyes.

"You wanna go home don't you?" 

Rex nodded.

"Don't worry, we will" I said with a small smile as I rolled out of bed, the gash on my leg already healed. "Why don't you go hunting?" 

Rex seemed to think it over before he nodded excitedly and ran out of my room.

"I would like to go back to Nidhogg Island as well buddy, but I've got a job to do here"

"Would you like me to make breakfast sir?" C.R.O.W. asked. 

I sighed before I said. "Make some for Dash once she wakes up, I'm gonna go out for a couple hours"

"But what if princess Celestia and the girls show up?" 

"Just emit a sound with a frequency of around thirty-thousand, only I can hear those" I absent mindedly said as I walked through the house, as I passed the door to the workshop I could hear the sound of power tools from the inside. "You know what, C.R.O.W. scratch that I'll be doing something else" 

"Certainly sir" 

Entering the massive workshop I saw Dash sitting in the middle of the workshop, working on the Lightning Tank, wearing the Mirage Amulet as I had come to call the necklace. "Already up I see?" 

"Couldn't sleep" Dash said flipping up the welders mask she was wearing before turning to me. "these storm generators work following the wrong principles, these are the ones from a couple of years ago, I can make it more efficient if you'd like" 

"That might be so but remember that this is only a prototype, I built it with that in mind, and used the older principles because if I do it that way it'll use less resources" I finished with a small smirk, as I walked to stand next to her.

"That's actually, really smart, if you do it this way it's less complicated and there is more room left for the Tritanium generator" 

"I know"

"Sir there is somebody at the door for you" C.R.O.W. informed. 

"I'll get it" Dash said as she dropped the welders mask and flew out the workshop. 

"I wonder who it is?" I asked myself, I wasn't expecting anybody in particular, and it was still to early for the princess and the rest of the girls to show up. 

My inner monologue was cut off as Dash yelled something. "Hey 'Kill! It's for you!" 

"Coming!" I yelled as I walked out of the workshop, reaching the front door I saw a brownish-tan earth pony stallion with a black mane and tail (with a few strands of grey) and a green tie. 

"Yeah?" 

"That's the one daddy! That's the one who ate the CMC and tried to eat me!" A rather tiny for her age, foul pink earth pony filly with a foul purple and white mane and tail said as she came out of hiding from behind her Dad, to make matters worse she wore a tiara, that's never a good sign. She looked about as old as the CMC's, whom I though to be about twelve to thirteen years old.  

"It's okay Diamond Tiara, might I have your name sir?" The stallion asked.

"If you give me yours" I said.

"Very well. My name is Filthy Rich, and I am the CEO of Rich Corp." The stallion evidently known as Filthy Rich said.

"The name's Overkill, traveling White Rabbit operative and mercenary, I am the current bodyguard of the Elements of Harmony" I said.

"Now that introductions are out of the way. My daughter told me you kidnapped and... ate, three little fillies known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Is that correct?" Filthy Rich asked.

"No it is not. I merely picked the three of them up from school, usually Rainbow Dash would have done that, do you by any chance know her?"

"I have spoken to her a couple times but nothing more" Filthy Rich explained.

"Okay, so like I said usually she would've picked them up but, since she... wasn't able to I did it for her" I said carefully picking my words at the end. 

"See Diamond he didn't eat your friends" He said to his daughter.

"No I saw him turn into a black monster and kidnap the CMC!!!" The little filly yelled.

"Who're you calling a monster you little brat!" I yelled at her.

At that Diamond Tiara started the perfect way to win her father over. Crying.

And oh boy did she cry as she ran away.

"Diamond!... Now look what you've done" Filthy Rich said as he ran after his daughter.

I sighed as I stepped back inside my house, coming face to face with an annoyed looking Dash.

"That was totally uncalled for" she simply said.

I sighed again before I said. "A little. Now, what do you say about breakfast I'm starving" 

"...Fine I'm so hungry I could eat a manticore" Dash implied.

I nodded and with that we walked to the kitchen.

I walked up to the fridge and picked out a cup with a crimson liquid as Dash went and sat at the table. Putting the cup of crimson in front of Dash I said. "Try it"

"...What is it?" Dash asked with a bit of apprehension.

"Artificial blood. It's meant to be exactly like normal blood, but at the same time be different, go ahead, try it" I said with a hopeful expression. 

Still not being completely sure, she carefully takes a sip. 

"And?" I asked.

"It's much... sweeter then your blood" Dash replied.

"Oh, then what does my blood taste like?"

"It's very bitter, but in a good way"

"Hmm, okay then. Good, now. 'Kill?" I asked.

"Saying Overkill all the time is a mouth full, so I gave you a nickname" Dash said, leaving no room for arguing. "Now, White Rabbit?"

"Team of extraordinary people, pony or not. They're stationed in a town on Nidhogg Island, lovely town they had, 't was called Halloween if I remember correctly, I have been abroad for the past three years now" I said with a nostalgic expression.

"Halloween? Doesn't sound that friendly to me" 

"And you'd be right, because the gateway to Tartarus is right outside it, the town's riddled with vampires, werewolves and other monsters who got a free pass to live in the over world, good times" I explained. 

"Monsters? Really? It must've been weird living there" 

"And it was! But it was awesome all the same!" 

"If it's as awesome as you say then you gotta take me there one day"

"That's what she said!" The voice of Switch Kick sounded from outside the window.

"No shit dumb ass!" I yelled back. "Oh we'll go there one day, I gotta call in a few favors from my old pals there, if we're gonna win the war we'll need their help" I said. "I might be strong but I can't win a war on my own"

"Hmm, and here I thought you really were that powerful"

"I am, but the griffons have strength in numbers"

"Okay, and, when exactly did you make artificial blood?" Dash asked.

"I didn't, I simply teleported some of the artificial blood from my place in Halloween over here"

"Why would you need that there?" 

"I just told you that there are vampires in Halloween"

"Oh, right" Dash said.

I nodded before I made myself a manticore bacon sandwich.

"Is that meat?" Dash asked with a grossed out expression as she quickly drank the rest of the artificial blood.

"Manticore bacon to be precise, I think it's delicious" I said after eating the sandwich in one bite. "Want some?" I asked.

"Ew, no thanks. As a normal pony I don't eat meat" 

I just burst out laughing at that. "Normal!? Dash! I don't know if you've noticed! But you ain't normal no more!" I quickly said before continuing my laughing fit on the ground.

Dash sighed at that. "Hehe, yeah" She said before falling into laughter herself. "I really am a freak now aren't I!" She managed to say before falling into more outrageous laughter with me. 

I heard something a couple years ago: good times + good friends = amazing memories. I guess that's true. I don't know how long we continued laughing like that, but it must've been damn long cause by the time we were done it was almost ten am. 

"Hehe, I've never laughed that much in my entire life! And I know Pinkie Pie!" Dash said followed by a couple softer giggles. 

"Me neither" I said still chuckling.

"You know Overkill? You're way different then what my first impression of you was, you're not a stone-cold killer"

"I'm hurt, last time I checked I was still the one who strangled Pinkie" I said faking a hurt expression.

"That's true, and I'm gonna get you for that, but, you're much more... awesome, then I first thought"

"Well thank you, I aim to please... sort of" I said followed by a guilty chuckle. 

"Sir princess Luna is starting to wake" C.R.O.W. said.

"Already? Hmm, oh well, did not expect that... Dash could you round up the girls, I'll go greet the newborn cyborg" I said chuckling. 

"Sure" Dash said as she walked out of the kitchen and into the hallway. 

I quickly made myself a cup of coffee and drank it all in one go. I then teleported myself to the medical bay, quickly reaching the room Luna was lying in, opening the door, I walked inside seeing princess Luna lying in her bed, staring at the wall opposite from her bed. She wasn't wearing her usual attire, the components of which were lying on a table next to her bed. 

The effects of the surgery were apparent, her legs had been replaced with dull black prosthesis, her wings had been replaced to, and lastly her right eye was replaced by an artificial glowing orange one. 

"Good morning Luna, how are you feeling?" I asked. 

Slowly looking at me she hollowly said. "Why? Why did you do this to me?"

"If you're gonna be pissed at anyone be pissed at your sister, she's the one who gave permission for the procedure" 

*sigh* "It's not like there is any turning back now is there? I'll just have to deal with it" Luna said trying, and failing, to smile.

"Hey don't worry, you'll be back to your regular activities soon enough, first you'll have to rehabilitate though" 

"Sir the girls are here" C.R.O.W. informed. 

"You just wait here for a bit while I get the girls okay? Your sister should be here shortly" I told Luna, I wasn't sure that Celestia would be coming here but since the sisters are practically each other's opposites I expected Celestia to notice her sister was awake. Luna nodded. I nodded back after which I teleported in front if the main house, surprising the mane six as I appeared in front of them. 

"Is she alright?" Fluttershy was the first to ask. 

"Yes she's alright, I told you that yesterday. Do you all want to see her?" I asked already knowing the answer.

"YES!!!" All six of them yelled.

"Okay okay fine sheesh you don't have to yell" I said. "Now hold still" I then teleported the seven of us to the med bay, outside of Luna's room. "Now I want you all to know this, it's still Luna, okay?" They nodded. "Good" I said as I opened the door.

As the mane six filled into the room Luna turned to look at them, wearing a weak smile. Rarity and Fluttershy gasped, and the rest, minus Pinkie who wore a smile as big as usual, froze. 

Fluttershy, being the first to unfreeze, immediately gained a worried look. "A-are you all right, princess Luna?" She asked with a degree of uncertainty.

"I'm a little beat up but all right otherwise" Luna replied, not bothering to include formalities in the situation. 

"Are you really? Cause you look more then a little beat up" Dash bluntly asked as she unfroze as well.

"I'm fine really, it's just" Luna said as she lifted her right-front hoof whilst wearing an ever so slightly confused expression. "hard, to get used to I guess"

THUMP

"Sir princess Celestia has arrived" C.R.O.W. announced.

"Okay, you six wait here while I get the big bad, sound good?" I said. Without even bothering to wait for a response I teleported myself to the front door. Taking a deep breath I opened the door. 

"Princes Celestia hi how are you?" I asked with the best fake smile I could muster. 

"Where is she" Celestia simply asked. 

*sigh* "Allow me" I said as I teleported the two of us outside Luna's room. 

"Now I already told the girls this but still, it's still Luna sitting in that bed okay?" 

She nodded. 

"Good" I said as I opened the door. I followed her as she walked in and came to a stop next to her.

Just then Luna looked up, seeing her sister standing there she offered a weak smile. "Sister" 

Without even looking at me Celestia punched me in the side hard enough to launch me through the wall on my left.

"Overkill!" Dash yelled in surprise and worry as she flew to the rubble of the wall under which I was buried.

"I'm okay" I wheezed out from under the rubble.

"What did you do that fo-" Dash tried to say but was cut of as Celestia retaliated with.

"No comment" She said as she walked up to Luna's bed. "How are you feeling Luna?" 

"It's quite alright, Overkill did an amazing job of patching me up, I do think I need to get used to it though" Luna replied.

"And you do, and we'll start with that later today" I said after I stuck my head out of the rubble. I then proceeded with digging myself out, after I was done with that I spoke again. "Now if you'll excuse me I need a drink, C.R.O.W. show them the way out once they want to leave" I then teleported out of the med bay. 

"Will he be alright?" Fluttershy asked Dash. 

"If I know 'Kill then he'll just push through it... I'm still a little worried though, I'll go look for him, see you guys later" Dash said as she walked out of Luna's room. 

(10.25 am, deep within the Everfree forest) 

Needless to say, I was pissed, what with that little bitch Diamond Tiara calling me a monster, and now I got myself on Celestia's kill list, but, she agreed on the surgery! She knew her sister was going to end up as a cyborg and she agreed with it! 

"Aargh!!! Why does the universe hate me!" I yelled as I punched a tree, completely shattering it and the surrounding trees in the process. 

You know Dash said that she loved you don't you?

"Shut up I don't want you talking that crap, it was obviously a slip of tongue" I scolded my conscience. 

But you want to believe what she said don't you? 

"Hardly, it would be way to complicated anyways, I'm still just a mercenary you know?"

That might be so but, eh fuck it, as long as you keep talking yourself down I won't help you anymore. 

"I don't need you anyway"

...

"Good" I said as I continued my little temper tantrum. But, that stupid little voice inside my head had a point, maybe I do want to Dash to like me... HA HA HA, yeah right. Why would ANYbody love ME!? It's just stupid to think Dash is the one to love me.

But,

Again with the but's

What if she WAS the one. Meh fuck it I'll figure that out later. 

"Now" I said as I closed my eyes. "How about a quick check up" I simply sat on the ground. I then concentrated on my body. "Mental state: more insane then recommended. Body structure: still a general clusterfuck, hehe" I sensed Dash coming into range of hearing me talk, so I slightly altered what I was about to say. "Now the big bad, Tritanium levels: 25% of blood has been replaced with liquid Tritanium, above average and it is recommended I visit the Tritanium absorption chamber as soon as possible, any further shifting may result in permanent heart damage..."

(10.27 am, deep within the Everfree forest. POV chance to 3rd person, Rainbow Dash) 

"Where is that guy?" Dash asked to nopony in particular. "It can't really be that hard to spot a walking death machine of, well, death" 

She had been flying over the Everfree for the past Fifteen minutes looking for Overkill, first she went into town to the local bar, Berry Punch's berry punch, expecting the grey Shifter to be drowning himself in liquor, but he wasn't there. 

Then she thought where a walking death machine would hide, the forest of course! 

And so she'd been flying there for the past fifteen minutes looking for him. 

Just then Dash heard something in the distance. 

"Tritanium levels: 25% of blood has been replaced with liquid Tritanium, above average and it is recommended I visit the Tritanium absorption chamber as soon as possible, any further shifting may result in permanent heart damage"

"What!?" Dash yelled as she took of to where the voice came from. Seeing Overkill sitting in the middle of a small clearing in the sea of trees she landed right in front of him. 

(POV change, 1st person, Overkill)

THUMP

Looking up I saw Dash standing there. "Oh it's you" 

"What. Was. That." She simply asked.

"What was what?" 

"That... gibberish about Tritanium levels being to high!?" She half-yelled half-asked.

"Oh... that, aw crap I didn't want you to hear that um. Let's just say that when you guys hit me with the Elements of Harmony, it wasn't all beneficial. You see, I now have both chaos magic and residual harmonious energy inside my body, those two complement each other, which is what allows me to go Apex, but at the same time they don't complement each other, which is the reason my body now naturally generates liquid Tritanium as well as my normal blood, liquid Tritanium is... poisonous, even to me, Shifting increases the amount of   Tritanium my body generates" I explained, saying nothing but bullshit.

"......... WHAT!!! Why didn't you tell me this sooner!?" Dash yelled in my face.

"I... don't know why I didn't tell you, I just, didn't I guess. It might be because of me being stubborn and thinking I don't need help heheh-" 

SMACK

I was thrown on the ground by Dash hitting me in the face. Hard.

"What was that for!?" I yelled as I stood back up, rubbing my right cheek.

"Don't ever be that stupid again" Dash said looking at the ground, her right hoof still raised up in the air. 

"Dash-" 

"Promise me, that when something like this comes up again you'll tell me" Dash said looking me in the eyes. I could see real worry in those rose eyes of hers.

"...Fine" I said before raising my left-front hoof in the air. "I, Terramorphous Overkill Sin, promise to tell you, Rainbow Dash, whenever something troubles me or is wrong with me. Now happy?" 

Dash simply fell on the ground laughing. "T-Terramorphous!?" 

"Oh hardy har har laugh it up, like Rainbow Dash is the best name ever" 

"I don't care just, Terramorphous!? Pfffhahhahahahhahahahhahahahhahahha!!!" 

"Screw you Dash, really" I said pinching the bridge of my muzzle. 

"Oh my gosh that's a stupid name" Dash said after she calmed down a little. 

"Finished?" I asked. 

"Yup, finished" she replied, still giggling a little. 

"Good, now, I could really go for a drink right now do you know a place I could get some liquor?" I asked. 

"There's only one bar in town called Berry Punch's berry punch, but sure I'll take you there follow me" Dash said as she took off. 

I took off after her and after about ten minutes of flight we landed in Ponyville. 

"Follow me" Dash said as she walked in a seemingly random direction. 

Following her we quickly came upon a building with a large sign saying: Berry Punch's berry punch. 

My opinion of the sign could be summed up in four words: I am not amused. 

"This is it" Dash said.

"Thanks" I said as I walked to the entrance, but stopped. "Do you want a drink? My treat" 

"Sure, I could go for some cider" Dash replied as me and her walked in.

It wasn't much to be honest, just a simple, relatively empty room with a bar on the farthest wall. There weren't many ponies present, but that was to be expected cause it was still in the morning. 

Walking over to the bar I saw a purple mare with a purple/reddish mane and tail cleaning some bottles. "Welcome to Berry Punch's berry punch what can I get for you?" The mare asked putting the bottle she was holding down. 

"Some simple cider" Dash said absently as her and I took a seat.

"Strongest stuff you got" I said.

"You sure? That's pretty tough stuff you're asking for" The mare warned. 

"Don't care, I can handle anything you throw at me" I said with a daring smirk.

"If you say so" the mare said as she picked up two glasses and filled them up. She then slid one of them, which was filled with a golden colored drink, over to Dash. She then slid the other over to me, which was filled with a bright red, foam covered drink.

"There, strongest stuff I can legally sell, Fire Ruby liquor, said to burn a hole through a dragons stomach" the bar-mare said. "Hey everypony! Gather 'round, this guy's gonna try Fire Ruby liquor!" 

And just like that, all was quiet. Slowly, everybody present turned around to look at me.

With an even more daring smirk I drank my entire glass of liquor empty in one go. 

Everybody held their breath. 

My entire face turned as red as what I just drank as I coughed up some fire.

"Phew, that's some strong stuff you got here, not as strong as I'm used to though" I smugly said.

"What!? How?" The barmare asked. 

"You'll learn not to question how Overkill works" Dash deadpanned. 

"Oooookay... Then what is the strongest stuff you've ever had the pleasure, or rather, displeasure of tasting?" The barmare asked as the other ponies present lost interest.

"That would be... Liquid Darkness" I concluded.

"Liquid Darkness?" The barmare and Dash asked at the same time.

"It's not really a strong drink by itself, but the reason it's the strongest drink out there is because it messes with your mind, you see, Liquid Darkness is made in distilleries in Tartarus, which in and of itself is awesome. I don't know how but what they do in those distilleries is mix... um... liquid madness and fear with basic beer. Anyways it messes with your mind in such a way that you live all your deepest fears and darkest desires in the span of literally the blink of an eye... very few people can go through that and come out sane" I grimly explained.

"And how did you fare?" Dash asked.

"Me? I was never sane to begin with!" I exclaimed laughing.

"Well, that's disturbing" The barmare said with a shudder before she walked away from us to help someone else.

"Well, if you can do it so can I" Dash said as she drank her drink in one go as well.

...

"...Hey... Rainbow" I asked.

"Yeah?" Dash replied, surprised that I called her by her first name.

"Did you..." I tried to say as a hint of crimson appeared on my cheeks. "Did you mean what you said yesterday?"

"What do you mean?"

"I think you know damn well what I mean" I said.

"Oh... that" Dash said as she blushed herself. "Well I-"

"HI!!!" Pinkie Pie yelled as she appeared out of nowhere.

"Ahh!" Dash and I yelled at the same time.

"The fuck was that for Pinkie!?" I yelled at the party-pony.

'Thank Faust that Pinkie had to show up at that exact moment' Dash thought.

"I have a letter for you!" Pinkie said, completely unaffected by my harsh language.

After that Pinkie fished a scroll out of her mane and gave it to me.

On the scroll I saw a white wax seal with WR written on it in stylish letters.

"This is from White Rabbit!" I exclaimed as I opened and read the letter.

"Well? What does it say?" Dash asked.

"To my good friend Overkill,

There has been reliable intel of a vampire residing in Ponyville, I know that you're staying there currently so find that vampire, all we know is that she's a unicorn mare, early twenties, and it's been confirmed she also a super. I expect you to bring her to me Wednesday next week, no later then 5 pm.

P.P.S Hi 'Killy! Caitlyn here! I just wanted to say; good luck number five!

P.P.P.S. Bring the elements as well." I said as I read the letter out loud.

"That little brat, calling me number five" I grumbled.

"Okay, two questions; who is Caitlyn and why did she call you number five?" Dash asked with a slight hint of venom as she said Caitlyn's name, which went completely unnoticed by me.

"She called me number five because I am the fifth most dangerous being on the planet... she's number four" I sadly explained.

"...There are four beings more powerful then you!?" Dash yelled. 

*sigh* "Yes, like I said, number four is Caitlyn, she's a lynx who knows any body even better then I do, she need only glance at you to know your body's exact weak points, and she can strike them with swiftness and maneuverability matched only by our delivery pony.
Number three is a basically a god in mortal form, Florentine Fable is his name, and he is the Seraph God Slayer. 
Number two is a guardian angel that goes by the name of Uriah, a warrior who knows basically every type of magic and can use it to it's fullest extent, but he mostly uses Rapture magic.
Number one is the leader of White Rabbit, the Grimm Reaper, Death himself.
There are only two entities who can beat Lord Death, Dark and Light Gaia.
Dark Gaia is the king of demons and the ruler of Tartarus, Ragnarok.
Light Gaia is the queen of angels and the ruler of Elysium, Faust." I explained. 

"Holy shit" Dash said before she slammed her hooves over her mouth. "Did I really just say that?" 

"You most certainly did" I said proudly.  

"Let's just act like that never happened" Dash said. "How do they know that you can bring me and the rest?"

"White Rabbit always knows my exact location, it's for safety purposes" I explained.

"And what are Supers?" She asked.

"Supers are ponies with special powers!" Pinkie explained before I could.

"...I'm not even gonna ask how you know that. But, where did you even get this letter Pinkie?" I asked.

"Well, princess Celestia wanted to have some time alone with Luna, so she told me and the rest to go away. And when we where outside a dark red Pegasus stallion was waiting for us, I didn't know him but he told us to give this letter to you once we found you, and then he disappeared right before our eyes" Pinkie explained.

"No surprises there, the guy you saw is called Hell Hound, and the reason he disappeared is, on the ground he is the fastest thing alive, capable of breaking the light barrier at his fastest. He is the delivery pony I just talked about" I explained.

"The LIGHT BARRIER!?" Dash yelled/asked. 

"The light barrier yes" 

Dash just continued gawking. 

"I think you broke her" Pinkie chirped as she waved a hoof in front Dash' face.

"Could you wake her up?" I asked sighing.

"Sure!" Pinkie said as she took a party-buzzer out of her mane and blew on it right in Dash'  face.

"How is that even possible!?" Dash yelled in a volume that matched the Royal Canterlot Voice, or RCV for short. 

"I dunno" I shrugged. 

"Don't give me 'I dunno'! You're supposed to be smartest pony on the planet for Celestia's sake!" 

"Exactly, the smartest PONY. Not the smartest being, that honor goes to my teachers, Raymond, and Gaige, White Rabbit's magic expert and scientist respectively" I said.

"I think I need a break" Dash said, but as fate would have it that won't happen anytime soon. 

"What is that thing? Is it a Pegasus?" A voice sounded from outside followed by more.

"No it's to big, a dragon?" 

"Too small, plus it has no wings" 

"Then how can it fly?"

These and more voices sounded from outside. 

"Karma's a bitch ain't it?" I said.

"It sure is, come on let's check it out" Dash said as she jumped of off the chair. 

"Sure" I said as I threw a couple bits on the bar and followed her, Pinkie following us as well. 

Coming outside the three of saw that most ponies that were outside looking up towards a red, blue and silver blur making it's way to Ponyville. 

"It's a monster! Everypony run!!!" A voice yelled through the town, it took a second or two more before everybody actually started screaming their asses of and running around like chickens that had their heads chopped of.

Of course during all this Dash me and Pinkie just stood there silently observing the blur. 

A minute or so later everybody that was outside was now holed up in their homes. 

After about another minute the blur landed about thirty feet away from us, kicking up a large dust cloud. 

I simply increased the size of my wings ten fold and with an almighty flap blew the dust away, after which I shrunk my wings down again. 

Where the dust cloud once was now stood a six foot tall metal machine, for comparison the average pony stood at about three foot tall. 

The machine itself was bipedal, it's legs were rather thin, halfway down the legs was what looked like aluminum cans which acted as it's knees, hydraulics were clearly visible at the back of the legs. It's arms started in hexagonal shoulders, the top arms looked like tubes, the middle of which were adorned with red stripes, which then went into another hexagonal shape for the elbow. The bottom half of the left arm was made up of two spokes which came together in a hand with one thumb and three fingers. The bottom half of the right arm was blue and looked like a rifle, sporting no hand, white light shone through vents at the bottom of the rifle. Along the body of the machine various cables were visible.

Of course, that's what Dash and Pinkie saw, all that I saw one of my first creations, Epoch, he was currently wearing his tier four naked frame, and the weakest of his various electromagnetic rifles, Sparky. 

Epoch and I began walking towards each other, once we met halfway I looked up to his bird like head, although there were a couple key differences. For one he didn't have a beak, a metal bar went around the bottom of his chin, and his eyes where blue glowing slits. 

Epoch then kneeled in front of me and looked me in the eyes. 

"Identification complete, Terramorphous Overkill Sin confirmed" A highly monotone voice sounded as no visible mouth moved on Epoch's head.

"Took you long enough" I said smiling. 

"Indeed it did mister Sin" Epoch said in a voice completely unlike what was heard before, instead of being monotone, this voice was smooth as silk yet threatening in a neutral kind of way, a lot like my voice, although my voice was a lot raspier and a pitch or two to three higher.

"You know this thing?" Dash said as she walked up to my side. 

"Know? Heck, I built him!" I proudly said, mentally patting myself on the back.

"It truly is an honor meeting you miss Dash, my name is Epoch" The tall robot said as he looked at Dash, not a single emotion visible in anything he did.

Needless to say, that fact unnerved Dash greatly. 

"I suggest you don't try to surprise me miss Pie" Epoch said as he looked over his shoulder at the pink menace as she tried to crawl up from behind him. 

"Ohh" Pinkie said sadly as she walked over to and then stood next to Dash.

"How did you notice Pinkie creeping up on you?" Dash asked.

"Sonar" Epoch simply said.

"What's sonar?" Pinkie asked.

"It works the same as what bats use to hunt" Epoch explained as he stood upright again.

"You're like a bat-bot!" Pinkie excitedly said. 

"If you want to see it that way" Epoch said in a slightly irritated tone of voice. 

"Halt creature!" A voice said from our right. 

Looking in the voice's direction we saw Celestia and the remaining Elements of Harmony running towards us, quickly stopping forty feet away from us. 

"Now why would I do that?" Epoch calmly replied. 

"Do you even know who you are talking to stupid thing!" Rarity said back.

"Of course, that's princess Celestia, co-ruler of Equestria, and controller of the sun" Epoch calmly said, a little to calmly for Rarity's taste.

"Then treat her with some respect!" Applejack added.

"You are in no position to demand such a thing from me" Epoch retorted. 

"And why not!" Applejack yelled. 

"I recommend you to stop being so hostile" 

Twilight had had enough of it, so she did something she usually never does, use her position as princess. "As a princess of Equestria I order you to bow before your superiors!" 

"I repeat, you are in no position to demand something from me, a guest in your country" 

"What do you mean a guest!? You're an intruder and should be locked up in the bowels of Tartarus!" Twilight said after she snapped.

"I represent the Grimm Reaper himself!" Epoch yelled pointing the Sparky at Twilight.

That shocked everybody, well, besides me of course. 

"So do I, and I unless you want a second war on your hoofs, I suggest you stand down, and stop being hostile" I added. 

"B-but that's just an old fairytale, there is no Grimm Reaper, right?" Twilight asked as she looked at Celestia.

"There is, Lord Death rules Nidhogg Island, home to the most powerful beings on the planet, each one of his warriors could beat even me, if left to their own devices the Elements of Harmony" Celestia said. 

"What!? But I thought only Overkill could do that!" Twilight yelled.

"Well, you thought wrong" Celestia bluntly replied.

"That's right, and we don't answer to anybody except Lord Death. So I suggest you stop trying to boss us around, or you will pay" Epoch said. 

"You are wrong on that part Epoch, I was hired by Celestia and Luna to function as the bodyguard of the Elements of Harmony" I said.

"Really now? How much?" Epoch asked looking at me.

"750 bits a month" I replied. 

Everybody was shocked from the casual turn the conversation between me and Epoch just took. 

"White Rabbit pays more" Epoch said. 

"I know that, but this is like a vacation job you know" I retorted.

"Ahem" Celestia said trying to get our attention.

"Yes?" Me and Epoch asked at the same time.

"If I may be so blunt, why are you even here?" She asked Epoch.

"That is not only confidential but also I'd doubt you'd understand" Epoch responded. 

"Are you calling me stupid?" 

"Only if you want to see it that way" 

An awkward silence quickly followed. 

"Come on Epoch, let's go. I wanna see what's wrong with you" I said as I walked past Celestia, Epoch following soon after. 

"What is that thing?" Rarity asked to nobody in particular.

"I don't know, it doesn't have any magic at all" Twilight said.  

"I um, think it's a he" Fluttershy said softly.

"Well, whatever it, or he, is, I've never seen anything like him, like this Epoch" Celestia added. "Well I have duties to attend to, I've been away from Canterlot for long enough now, I'm sure Overkill has it under control" she continued as she spread her wings.

"But what about Luna? Don't you want to see her any more?" Twilight asked. 

"Like I said, I'm sure Overkill has it under control" and with that Celestia flew of to Canterlot.

"If all of Deaths warriors are this loyal to him, then I might have to take action" Celestia thought with great concern.

"It's quite funny when you think about it" Epoch said.

"What is?" I asked as I popped up from behind him.

Epoch and I were in my workshop, I had him hooked up to a supercomputer running diagnostics as I was tinkering on some systems in his back.

"The fact that princess Twilight said that I should be locked up in Tartarus" 

"Haha! I know right, it really shows that she doesn't know anything doesn't it?" I said as I continued my tinkering.

"It really does, but then again. We can't expect everybody to know the prison is IN  Tartarus, while Tartarus is a world of its own" Epoch reasoned.

"I guess" 

"I don't see what's wrong. Everything's completely fi-... wait, what's this?" I thought.

After some more close looking I saw that an entire module was missing, it was a small but VERY important module; the digi-struct module, it's what allowed Epoch to change frames, weapons, grenades, rockets and boosters on the fly. 

"Now that's a problem" I said out loud.

"What is?" Epoch asked.

"Did you know you're missing the digi-struct module?" 

"The what?" 

"...Goddamnit Gaige, you just had to do it didn't you?" I asked to nobody in particular.

"Do what?" Epoch asked with confusion.

"Nothing buddy" I said as I tore out the cables that connected the computer and Epoch. 

"Wait what are you-" Epoch tried to say before I turned of all of his main and secondary systems, in other words, I turned off Epoch.

"...Now where the fuck am I gonna find a new module?" 

"You could use Tritanium?" C.R.O.W. suggested.

"Indeed I could, but what if Dash walks in whilst I'm doing it? I'll have to explain myself big time" 

Let me explain, being hit with the Elements of Harmony did three things, it gave me the ability to take any form to the next level, that level being Apex. It also gave me two other abilities: Tritanium Generation, the ability to generate Tritanium - and Tritanium Melding, allowing me to mold Tritanium anyway I want.

"It's not like I have any other choice" I concluded as I walked over to a part of the workshop less... filled to the brim. Sitting down I concentrated on generating the precious metal within my body. I raised my right front hoof as slowly but surely a silver stream of liquid metal began seeping through the skin, the streams all came together and formed a lump of metal in front of my hoof. The streams stopped and now a lump of silver metal about the size of my head floated in front of me. 

I then absorbed basically everything back into me, now all that was left was a small, two inches in diameter sphere, taking a look at my handiwork I concentrated even harder on the sphere as intricate lines began appearing all over it. Soon after, the sphere started to become more of a cube as the inside gave way for complex circuitry. 

"Done!" I said, glad that it was finally finished, the entire process took about a half hour. 

Most machines I could make a LOT faster, but considering the weak and complex machinery that is the Digital-Reconstruction, digi-struct for short, module, I of course took my time. 

I then slowly walked over to Epoch's unmoving form, module in hoof. The back panel was still open. A quick look allowed me to spot the small square hole that the module was  supposed to go in.

"Okay, here goes nothing" I nervously said as I fitted the module into place. 

I then quickly hooked Epoch up to the super computer next to him. 

"Everything seems to be stable and ready to go" I concluded from the mass of binary code. 

"Now all I have to do is write the program to allow Epoch to use the module" I thought as I quickly started pressing buttons left and right on the keyboard, five minutes later the program was done as I implemented it into Epochs core programming. 

"Finally" I said as was about to re-activate Epoch, but hesitated. "I'd better double check later" I concluded before I walked out of the workshop, by now it was about 12 am.

"I'd better check on Luna" I said before I teleported to Luna's room, startling the princess of the moon with my sudden arrival. 

"Is something wrong?" Luna asked. 

"I think it's about time we start with rehabilitation" I confidently said. 

"... This soon? Shouldn't we wait a little longer?" 

"No chance, I want you back up and runnin' by the end of next Tuesday" 

"Why then?" She asked with a confused expression.

"I received a letter from my boss saying that I have to catch a vampire hiding in Ponyville and bring her to HQ next Wednesday, I have to bring you and the Elements as well" I explained. 

"There is a vampire in Ponyville!?" 

"Yes there is" 

"Dear Faust... wait, who is this boss of yours?" Luna asked.

"The Grimm Reaper" 

"You work for the Reaper, then you must be a part of White Rabbit" 

"Yes, I am" I said. 

"Well, I suppose we should get started then" Luna said as she slipped out of bed, wobbling a bit as she stood on the ground. When she regained her balance she looked at me confidently.

"Good" I said as motioned for her to follow me as I walked out of the room.

(Around that same time, Ponyville library, 3rd person POV)

The mane six (minus Pinkie who ran of a couple minutes ago saying that there were 'robot party' emergencies) were sitting in the main area of the library, conversing on what they saw not even an hour ago.

"I can't believe Overkill and that thing know the Grimm Reaper!" Twilight frustratedly yelled.

"His name's Epoch" Dash deadpanned. 

"I don't care! Both it and-" 

"His name's Epoch" Dash persisted.

"Fine whatever, both Epoch and Overkill defied not one but two princesses! And then they say that they only answer to the Grimm Reaper! I mean who knows he even exists, in all the time I've been by Celestia's side I never once saw him conversing with her! That's just preposterous!" 

"That might be so darling but wouldn't it cause quite a ruckus if a walking talking skeleton started walking through the streets of Canterlot?" Rarity suggested.

"That might be so but it doesn't mean he can't come in secret! Rulers of various countries should talk about trade agreements right?" Twilight said. 

"Well, that doesn't matter because you're seeing the Reaper next Wednesday anyway" Dash said. "We all are"

"What, why?" Applejack asked.

"In the letter Overkill received his Boss, the Grimm Reaper, gave him the task of bringing not only princess Luna but the six of us as well, to White Rabbit HQ" Dash explained.

"White Rabbit?" Fluttershy asked.

"The organization Overkill and Epoch are both a part of. They're stationed on Nidhogg Island" Dash explained again. 

"Okay then, that makes it clear that the Reaper does exist. But it can't be true that ALL of his warriors can beat us right? I mean Overkill okay he demonstrated it but... yeah" Twilight said.

"Also wrong, Overkill said even he's not the most powerful of them all, there are four others stronger then him" 

"Okay... we're doomed" Twilight said sighing. 

"Most likely, but heck if it won't be awesome" Dash said with a smile. 

"Where is Overkill actually?" Rarity asked.

"I think he's home, Epoch had a couple problems so he's probably fixing them" 

"I hope he's alright" Fluttershy said. 

"Hmm, me too, he seemed like a cool guy, weird, but in a good way" Dash said. "By the way Twilight, do you know what a Lynx is?" She continued.

"A Lynx?" Twilight replied.

"Yeah, the number four most powerful being is a Lynx Overkill told me" 

"Well, Lynxes were a larger then average and sentient species of cat that lived hundreds of years ago, before they mysteriously disappeared, most of them were nomads who lived alone and traveled the world leaving many healthy in their wake. Of course that's all speculation as many never even got to talk to one of them. They'd appear, treat the sick, and then vanish, never to be heard of again" Twilight explained. 

"That doesn't sound very nice, leaving without telling anypony" Rarity said.

"Although they do sound kind, helping all those people, I mean" Fluttershy added.

"I guess" Twilight said. 

"Well, I guess it's best if I return to Overkill's place, so I'll see you all later" Dash said as she stood up and walked over to the door.

"Wait!" She heard all her friends say. "Be safe" Twilight continued.

"...I will be" Dash replied as she walked out the door. 

(Canterlot Castle, a couple minutes later)

Celestia was worried, sure she knew that Death's warriors were powerful, but to see that they were also super loyal... it... it scared her.

Death only had to give the command and all of Equestria would burn under the onslaught of his super-powered attack force. 

Knowing this she had to do something to protect her little ponies. She just didn't know what.

At the moment she was sitting on her throne listening to some random noble complaining about petty things like how a 'commoner' should be locked up in the dungeons for coughing near him.

Of course she had spoken to the Reaper in her long life, the last time was about two-hundred years ago, and when they spoke to each other he said, quote "each of my warriors are hand picked by me and are at least as powerful as your pathetic Elements of Harmony, they are prepared to kill, and will not hesitate to send anybody to what lies beyond life" end quote. That majorly frightened her, up until then she was living in the illusion that the Elements, even though they lacked ponies who could harness their power back then, were the strongest force in the world. And to find out that those warriors listened only to him was eye opening. 

"So I want you to lock that filthy commoner up in the dungeons!" The noble finished.

"I'll see what I can do" Celestia replied out of habit, things like this were a little to common for her taste. With a smug grin the noble walked out of the throne room. 

Celestia sighed as she dropped her stoic mask.

"Are you alright your majesty?" One of the guards next to her throne asked. 

"I am fine thank you, could you get some tea for me?" She replied.

"Of course your majesty" The guard said as he walked out the throne room.

"These guards are no fun, always so silent and frozen like a statue" Celestia thought to herself. 

"I bet Luna's having a ton of fun, training with her new abilities, not having to deal with stuck up nobles" She continued thinking. 

(Roof of Overkill's house, Overkill's point of view) 

"Darn it!" Luna yelled as she once again fell on her ass after another failed flight flight attempt.

"Well, this isn't working now is it?" I deadpanned. 

"Why is it so hard to fly!" Luna yelled as she jumped into the air once again, flapping her wings and staying aloft for a couple seconds, only to lose her balance and face plant into my roof.

"Your center of gravity must has shifted to a lower spot due to the rather heavy leg prosthetics" I mused.

"It doesn't seem like I will be flying anytime soon" Luna said, looking rather downtrodden.

I merely hummed in response. Walking she picked up on rather quick, as with running. But flying just wasn't working. 

Quickly enough Luna made another attempt.

As I continued thinking about the issue an idea came to mind.

"Don't flap your wings yourself! Just, mentally command them to!" I yelled at the currently airborne, but about to fall, Luna.

She nodded as within a second or two her flight stabilized and the wings did their job perfectly, flapping in perfect synch with one another. Making Luna hang perfectly still aside from the flapping prosthetics. 

"Finally I'm flying!" Luna yelled before she blasted of into the air doing a back flip and landing upon the roof.

"Do you get it now?" I asked.

"Yes, I have to let my wings do the work for me. Not flap them myself" Luna still breathing heavily from the excitement.

"Perfect! You're an even better student then I imagined!" I said, causing Luna to blush.

"Oh I'm sure you've trained ponies better then me" She humbly said.

"Oh I have, but to pick up on this so quickly, unheard of!" 

"Hey could you quit it down a little I'm trying to sleep!" A voice yelled from our right, on the side of the workshop closest to the Everfree Switch Kick was trying to nap. 

"As soon as you stop napping so much Switch!" I yelled back at the lazy changeling. 

"Never in a hundo years!" Switch yelled back.

"Ha! Sure thing you lazy piece of chitin!" 

"Are you friends?" Luna asked.

"Sort of, I taught him how to use his changeling shape shifting abilities" I replied.

"Then why do you insult each other? Friends don't do that right?" She continued.

"Well, I wasn't always this... curse-happy" I decided. "Before I discovered my powers I was just as normal as everybody else, only when I came to Nidhogg Island did I start cursing this much" I explained.

"And why do you say everybody, instead of everypony" Luna continued asking.

"Also a tic I developed on Nidhogg. The island is full of different species, not only ponies, but also minotaurs, griffons, changelings and Nightmares of various types, along with many other species seen only on Nidhogg Island" I explained thinking back at all the fun times I had on the island. 

"Nightmares!? You don't mean-"

"Yes I do. Nightmares, as in the same type of entity that possessed you a thousand years ago, although you don't have to worry, they aren't evil or anything, just really, really creepy sometimes. Especially Slenderman and Rake" I reassured her while shuddering at the end. 

"Hey Overkill!" I heard Dash yell as she came in flying. 

"Oh hi Dash" I said turning around. 

"What're you doing?" She asked as she landed beside me. 

"I'm teaching Luna how to use her new limbs" I replied. "She's already re-learned how to walk, run and fly" 

"Cool, what's next?" 

I hummed in response as I thought what I could teach Luna next. "What do? CQC of course!!!" I yelled in my head.

"Dash I want you to get the girls and bring them here, I've thought of the perfect thing!" I said with a smile. 

"Uh, sure thing, what exactly are you gonna do?" Dash replied.

"You'll see, you'll see" I cryptically replied.

"Oookaay" Dash said as she took of towards Ponyville. 

"What do you have in mind?" Luna asked. 

"Do you know what CQC means?" I cryptically replied.

(About a half hour later, in front of Overkill's house) 

"Okay what do you have in mind?" Dash asked as me and Luna stood across from each other, about fifty feet in between us. 

I chuckled darkly at that. Which unsettled the mane six. 

"Oh, we're gonna do something I've wanted to do for a long time" I replied.

"And what might that be?" Applejack asked. 

"Yeah if I didn't know any better I would say you wanna fight Luna" Dash added.

"Oh Dash, you might not know me for very long but you already know me so well" I replied with a creepy grin. 

"Wait you don't mean, are you going to..." Twilight said not wanting to finish that sentence. 

"Yup" I said as I dashed at Luna punching her in the face with my right front hoof sending her flying. "Me and Lulu are gonna have a little sparring match" 

"Lucky shot" Luna said as she got up, wiping a droplet of blood from her mouth. 

"Oh my goodness" Fluttershy said as Luna launched herself at me. 

Soon enough Luna and me were exchanging and blocking blows left and right. 

"I seems we're about even in normal fighting" I said blocking a right uppercut.

"So it seems, then we might have to abandon hoof to hoof" Luna replied as she charged up her magic and fired a lighting bolt at me. 

I screamed as I flew backward. Landing on my hooves I quickly recovered before smiling as I Shifted into a Stalker and I charged back at Luna. 

When I came within striking range I slashed at her.

Out of instinct Luna raised her left hoof as a black blade folded out of the side, for a split second she was surprised before she used the newfound blade to parry mine.

"Is that a sword!?" Twilight yelled. 

"Seems like the cerebral implants are working as intended, altering her instincts like this" I thought with a sense of pride. 

Both me and Luna smiled as we tried to overpower each other, sparks flying left and right as our blades clashed. 

"They're smiling!? Why, they're fighting! They could die!" Twilight yelled again, looking at her friends for, well, anything. 

"Because they are fighting for fun. You know, I think I'm starting to understand Overkill more and more the crazier I think he is" Dash said.

By now a small crowd was gathering around the battle field.

"Looks like we've attracted a crowd" I said breaking away from the power struggle. 

"Then let's give them a show they won't forget" Luna said smiling. 

I returned the smile as I went Apex, my blade crackling with electricity as I charged at the cybernetic princess. Cybernetic princess, that might my favorite combination of words ever.

More instincts kicked in as Luna's wings detached from her back and transformed into two spherical hover drones firing lasers at me. 

This took me by surprise as I raised my blade to block the lasers. 

"Why the fuck not!" I thought as Tritanium seeped through my skin forming a silver layer over it. I then lowered my blade and charged again. 

Then a second blade folded out of Luna's right hoof, she formed and X with her two blades to block mine, but the electricity flowing through it did the job as Luna was shocked with a couple hundred volts of pure static. She screamed as she was launched backwards, halfway through her fall her wings-turned-drones returned to her and set themselves back in their sockets. She flapped her regained wings and flew into the air.

"So you what an ariel battle huh!?" I yelled after her as a set of bright red leathery wings sprouted from my back. Taking of after her I saw she was hiding on a cloud. I flew up to and landed next to her.

"Is she here?" Luna asked.

"No not yet, I don't smell her" I replied thinking about the plan Luna and I made.

/flashback\ 

"Do you know what CQC means?" I cryptically replied.

"Sure it means Close Quarters Combat" Luna answered. 

"Good. Now I have a plan to literally sniff out the vampire" 

"Oh?" 

"Yeah, you see, my idea is to fight each other. The commotion will cause a crowd to attract to the scene and with that I'll sniff the little blood-sucker out" 

"How?" 

"Well, I'll strengthen my sense of smell. You see, vampires smell like blood and hot sex, and seeing as ponies are naturally very innocent, they don't. Then when I smell the vampire coming within acceptable range I'll end the fight and openly challenge her to a duel. Simple as that" I explained. 

"Hmm, sounds like a good plan. Let's do it" Luna said with a smile.

\end flashback/

"Well, I guess we're not finished yet" Luna said.

"Yup" I said as I grabbed her and threw her to the ground and jumped after her. 

Luna crashed into the ground with a loud bang, a spiderweb of cracks appearing around her. She was fast enough to jump out of the way before I slammed into the place she was lying not five seconds ago, which kicked up a large dust cloud.

"Oh my goodness!" Fluttershy said.

"This can't possibly end well!" Rarity said. 

"Why are they fighting this isn't fun!" Pinkie yelled with a straight mane. 

Standing ready on her hind legs Luna gazed into the dust cloud. 

For a second all was quit, everybody thinking something's happened. 

Then out of nowhere I burst from the ground below Luna, sending her flying. She quickly regained her balance as she hung in the air as she looked at what threw her. She was surprised.

Out of the hole where she once stood a gigantic blue sandworm, me, was visible.

I quickly Shifted back to normal as I smirked at the floating cyborg.

"How do you like that!" I yelled as I jumped straight at her, punched her to the ground and slammed into her chest. I swear I could hear a few ribs crack.

Luna coughed up blood as she lay there. With a daring smirk she said. "Is that *cough cough* the best you got?" 

"Oh. There's a lot more where that came from" I said as I crouched down to were my mouth was right next to her ear. "She's here, play dead" I whispered as I jumped off of her and punched her in the side making her skip across the ground all the way to the massive crowd. 

She didn't get up. 

Everybody, minus Dash, screamed as they tried to run away from me, the thing that just, as far as they knew, killed their princess.

"BE QUIT!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, making everybody present freeze and stop screaming. "Now" I said as I flew to the crowd and hovered there. "Dash!" The rainbow mare in question complied as she flew over to me. 

"Yes?" She asked.

"Take a look at that crowd, what do you see what they don't?" I asked.

"...I don't understand" She replied.

*sigh* "Of course you don't" I said, my voice sounding kinder then the statement itself. 

"Everybody present! Do you know what blood smells like?" I yelled over the crowd.

Negative murmurs sounded through the air as the ponies looked to each other in confusion.

"Right, you're the most innocent species on the stupid ball we call Equis" I murmured. "Do you even know what sex is!?" 

The entire crowd just turned a couple tints redder.

"Of course, oh so innocent, one of you isn't though" I said.

"What? What do you mean?" A random stallion yelled. 

"I'm talking about the fact that a vampire has been hiding in Ponyville!" I yelled.

"You're lying! Vampires don't exist!" Another stallion yelled.

*sigh* "And who told you this!?" 

"Princess Celestia!" A mare yelled. 

"Well I'm here to tell you she lied! Everything the Crown has ever told you! Most of it was lies!" I yelled.

"No YOU'RE lying! You're just a mindless monste-" 

"If you finish that sentence I will kill you all!" 

All was quit.

"Good. The vampire is a unicorn mare early twenties, smells like blood and hot sex! So, who is that mare! I won't hurt you all I want to do is bring her back to Nidhogg Island!" I yelled.

I faintly heard the shuffling of hooves to my left. 

"You!" I yelled at a mare trying to flee the scene, she was indeed a unicorn mare, early twenties, I recognized her as Vinyl Scratch from three days ago. 
"Why are you walking away" I calmly said as I flew over and landed ten feet behind her as she turned to me. 

"I got stuff to do, I ain't got time for this bullshit" Vinyl said as she started walking away again. 

I gathered my courage. "...Yeah run on home! To that stupid sex slave in your basement!" I yelled after her.

She froze. "...Octavia isn't a slave" She whispered just loud enough for me to hear. 

"I never said she was called Octavia did I?" I said with a smug grin.

She froze even more. 

"Got her" I thought.

She lowly growled before she whipped around and yelled. "And why should I go back to Nidhogg huh!? All we could do there was walk around! Nothing exciting ever happens and as soon something does, Death and his stupid posse always take care of it!" 

Silence reigned supreme as everybody took three steps back. 

"Look, I know Nidhogg isn't the most exciting place in the multiverse. But enough stuff happens there to keep it fun. All I want to do is bring you back there, and if you cooperate I can maybe get Lord Death to allow you to continue living here. Sound good?" 

"You... you'd do that?" Vinyl carefully asked.

"Only if you cooperate" I assured her. 

...

"...NO!!!" She yelled as a blast of pure sound waves threw me a couple feet back.

"You're gonna regret this you know?" I said.

"I don't care I'm not going back!" She yelled.

*sigh* "So be it" I said as I charged, grabbed her by the throat and lifted her up.

"I'm not going back!" 

I looked around seeing all the scared eyes stare at me. "Well!? What're you staring at, scram!" 

They all screamed as they ran as fast as their legs could carry them, a minute later all that were left were the mane six plus Luna.

"You can get up now" I said. 

"Oh thank you I almost fell asleep" Luna said as she stood up.

"She's alive!" The mane six all yelled as they ran to and hugged Luna. 

"Well of course I'm alive, it takes a lot more then that to kill an alicorn you know" Luna said.

Vinyl, having kept quit so far started squirming in my grasp.

"Let me go!" She yelled.

"Now we can't have that can we? Cause if I'd do that Death will get you personally. And that can't end well" I replied. 

"You White Rabbit people are all the same, just mindless pawns ordered around by the reason people die at old age" 

"And that's where you're wrong. We aren't mindless pawns. We. Are. Family. And that's why we blindly follow Death. Because he would never, never make us do something that's not right" I said, a lot of rage seeping through my voice.

"Do you really think I'll believe tha-" Vinyl tried to say as I tightened the pressure around that pathetic little neck of hers. 

"No, I don't, I just hope you'll understand them" 

"Do it... kill me... I know... I know you want to... Monster" 

In a blind rage I slammed her into the ground as I raised my right hoof into the air, where it Shifted into a single razor sharp dagger, my eyes glowing bright red.

"No Overkill don't do it! You're not a monster!" Dash yelled. The others could only watch in horror.

"He wouldn't" Luna thought with a stern expression, something the other five severely lacked. 

"I know I'm not a monster" I said as the dagger Shifted into a razor sharp blade instead.

"I'm something much worse" I finished as I lowered the blade to right at the point where Vinyl's horn met her skull.

"Wait what are you-"

"AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!" Vinyl screamed as her severed horn landed on the ground with a dull thud, her scream filled with high pitched sound waves causing all windows in town to shatter.

"Oh shut up already" I said as I made two quick stabs into her neck, immediately her scream malformed into a low gurgling, her vocal cords having been cut. 

Fluttershy and Rarity promptly fainted as Pinkie started crying rivers of tears. 

Soon enough Vinyl fainted from shock.

I panted as I stood away from her unmoving body.

"Was that really necessary?" Luna asked waking up to me.

"If only she didn't attack. *sigh* If only" I said falling on my haunches. My eyes stopping with their glowing, both good old red. 

"I repeat, was that really-" 

"I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME!!!" I yelled in her face. "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell. I just... Now the entirety of Ponyville is gonna run at me with pitchforks raised high"

"I... I'm sure they won't" Twilight said. 

"Do you know why - PINKIE SHUT THE FUCK UP!!! - do you know why I travel the world? It's because as soon as I settle down in any given place Lord Death asks me to do something for him, which are often fetch quests, which causes me to have to openly fight the damn thing and be chased out of town afterwards" 

"It can't be that bad right?" Dash asked.

"Oh it is, ponies are the most xenophobic species on the fucking planet" I said.

"Xeno- whatnow?" Applejack said.

"Xenophobic, afraid of what's alien to them, the unknown" Twilight said.

"Well whatever. I gotta tell Boss that it's done" I said as I picked up Vinyl and threw her over my back, I then walked back to my house.

"What are you gonna do with her?" Dash asked.

"Lock her up in a cage n' hope she doesn't wake up. Then write a letter to Boss in which I ask for permission to return early" I explained.

"But what about the damages! Those have to be fixed!" Luna asked.

"Not my problem. All I did was follow the FFF plan" 

"FFF?" Twilight asked.

"Find. Fix. Finish. It's a military tactic" I said as I opened and walked through the door to my house. As I walked into the workshop I said. "C.R.O.W. cage construct in the corner now!" 

"Certainly sir" The friendly AI said as a blue glowing cage digi-structed in the corner. 

I opened it and roughly threw Vinyl in it, after which I closed it with a bang. 

"Make it ultra sound proof, even though I cut her vocal cords I don't wanna take any chances" I added. 

"Certainly sir" 

I then walked to my room and grabbed a black piece of paper out of a drawer. I then walked outside again.

"And?" Dash asked.

"She's locked up in a sound roof cage" I said.

"How is she still alive? You stabbed her in the neck twice" Twilight asked.

"I simply cut her vocal cords" I said as sat down and lifted the piece of paper in a red aura. I then coughed up a bit of blood. 

"Overkill are you alright?" Luna asked.

"I'm fine" I said as I dipped my right hoof in the blood now lying on the ground. I then wrote a couple lines of text onto the piece of paper. 

"What're you writing?" Dash asked.

"I have successfully captured the vampire. 
Permission to return early?" I said.

"Why so little? I always right my letters pretty long" Twilight asked.

"It doesn't need to be long as long I get the point across" I said as I rolled the letter up and set my hoof down on to seal it. When I raised my hoof a crimson seal in the form of a skull was sitting there. "I, agent Skull Reaper, want to send this letter to his highness, Lord Death" 

"And why would I do that!" A voice boomed from everywhere. 

"Not now Cerberus this is important" I said.

"Do I look like I care! I got better stuff to do then send some stupid-"

"SHUT UP CERBERUS OR I WON'T GIVE YOU ANYTHING WHEN I GET BACK TO NIDHOGG!!!" 

"Okay okay sorry! Please take something back for me!" Cerberus said as the letter went up in hellfire. "What?" I said as I got a look at the shocked faces of everybody present, Rarity and Fluttershy having only just got up.

"You know Cerberus!?" Twilight yelled.

"Well of course I do. He protects the gateway to Nidhogg Island after all" I said.

"But... But..." Twilight tried to say. 

"If you're mouth says open like that sooner or later a ghost will put his dick in it" I joked.

"W-what!?" Twilight yelled red as a cherry after which she snapped her mouth shut. 

Both me and Dash burst out laughing. "You are so easy to mess with for somebody who's supposed to be smart!" Dash yelled.

With a small pop a black mist appeared above me and a black letter appeared.

"That's fast" I said as I snatched the letter out of the air and read it. "Looks like we'll be going to Nidhogg tomorrow!"
