When the CMC's go into the Everfree Forest they find a power to become thier own set of rangers and defends Ponyville as the Jungle Fury Rangers.
Take place after Twilight get her element and before Lightspeed Rescue.
After hearing about where the new Element Ranger came from. Scootaloo, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle goes in and come out as a new team of Pony Rangers. Jungle Beast! Spirit Unleashed!

The animal spirits from the show are in here to give them their powers. The Cutie Mark Crusaders first time as Pony Rangers. Shining Armor is added to be the master of the three once he discovers the rangers. Babs Seed join on a visit.
It was a normal day in Ponyville. The papers just spoke of the Element Rangers defeating another monster. The CMC was reading the paper liking the rangers more and more. They liked the rangers so much, they wanted be rangers themselves. They often pretended to be Rangers. But one day all that playing became real.
They were about to try another dangerous stunt that Scootaloo thought of when Sweetie Belle spoke up.
"Hey, Scootaloo? Are you sure this is a good idea?" She asked.
"Of course and just to be safe I decide we'll do free-falling a few feet from the ground." Scootaloo said.
"Ya call this a few feet?" Apple Bloom asked plainly while looking over the cliff they were on.
They were ten feet from the bottom and there was a haystack at the bottom as well.
"Come on it’s not that high!" Scootaloo brushed off.
"I don't know about this one Scootaloo.", Sweetie Belle said, "I think we need a safer plan."
"No way! As Cutie Mark Crusaders we have to find our Cutie Marks by doing something extreme." Scootaloo said.
"This is a little to extreme if ya ask me." Apple Bloom said.
"Come on girls, you want your cuties marks don't you?" Scootaloo asked.
"Fine, but if we get hurt, I blame it all on you!" Apple Bloom said as Sweetie Belle nodded.
"Ok, then let’s get to it!" Scootaloo shouted and jumped.
Sweetie and Apple Bloom watch as Scootaloo try to pull off air moves but she was falling too fast. She landed in the hay and popped out. She looked at her flank and saw it was still blank. Then a small rock hit her head and she looked up. Apple Bloom's and Sweetie Belle's weight was too much for the cliff to hold and it broke, casing the two and some rocks to fall on her.
A little bit later, after having Twilight heal them, they were walking through Ponyville looking for a way to get their Cutie Marks when Snips and Snails ran up.
"Hey everypony! We got an idea of who the Rangers are!" Snip said.
"Oh boy, don't they ever give up?" Sweetie Belle asked.
For months Snips and Snails had been trying to find out who the Element Pony Rangers are and they failed many times. They claimed they have a clue? Apple Bloom already knew one of the Rangers was her sister, but agreed not to tell, not even to Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.
"We heard that the Rangers come from the Everfree Forest." Snip said.
"No they did not.", Apple Bloom said, "They come from Canterlot. The paper said that the Princess was the one to send them here."
"How do you know? I heard the newest Ranger came out of the Everfree Forest after the Green Ranger went back to being evil." Snips said.
"Yeah, back to being evil." Snails repeat.
"If you read the papers, the Evil Green Ranger is a Pegasus, the Good Green Ranger was a Unicorn.", Apple Bloom told them, "Plus, the Princess clearly states that the New White Ranger was an ally."
"Yeah, yeah, so what? We’re still going to find out who they are." Snip said and walk away.
The CMC rolled their eyes. They were never going to give up. Still, what they said about the New White Pony Ranger got them thinking. Apple Bloom already had a guess who it was but the other two didn't.
"Well, girls, I can't believe I'm saying this, but let go into the Everfree Forest." Scootaloo said.
"What?!", Apple Bloom asked in surprise, "Why? All we know is that Zecora lives there to reform."
"Maybe she can help us learn a little about the Rangers. I mean I don't want to know who they are, but maybe learn more about the White Ranger." Scootaloo answer and ran off.
The other two sighed and followed her.
A little while later, the three Fillies were walking through the Everfree Forest trying to find Zecora’s home. They were having no luck and they were lost.
"Come on girls, I'm sure it’s this way." Scootaloo said.
"Scootaloo, you do know we are lost right?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"And do you even know where Zecora live in the Everfree Forest?" Apple Bloom added.
"No" Scootaloo admitted.
They sighed, they were lost and had no way to tell other ponies where they were. Even if they did, their sisters would yell at them. Well, Apple Bloom's and Sweetie Belle's sister would. Scootaloo doesn't have one, although she sees Rainbow as a sister. They tried to find a way out of the forest and surprisingly came to a cave they never seen before.
"Where did this thing come from?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Don't know, but it might have something about the White Ranger and we might get are cutie marks for finding a secret that no pony knew was here!" Scootaloo said and walked inside.
"Come on Sweetie Belle, we better make sure she doesn't get hurt." Apple Bloom said as they ran to catch up with their friend.
As they walked through the cave, they saw some strange pictures of many animals fighting even stranger creatures. Once they reached the end they saw three big cats that were colored Red, Blue, and Yellow. That confused them, where all the other animals were the same color as the walls of the cave, these ones were in three colors. Then they heard three loud roars coming from the cave. They looked around trying to figure out where it came from.
"Um, girls? You think this is a good time to get out of here?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Yeah, good call." Scootaloo agreed.
They started to walk back to the cave entrances when they spotted three Timber Wolves.
"Uh oh." Sweetie Belle said as they backed away.
They backed up until they touched the wall. They were trapped and were about to be eaten if it weren't for the three roars that they heard earlier happened again. They watched as three big colored cats that look to be mist-like fight off the Timber Wolves. Though the Timber Wolves kept reforming after getting destroyed, it was clear they were not getting any lunch today and they backed off. When they were gone the three mist-like cats turned to them and three mist-like ponies appear.
"Welcome to the cave of the Animals Spirits. I'm called Tiger Master who mastered the Spirit of the Tiger." The Red mist-like pony said.
"I'm Jaguar Master who mastered the Spirit of the Jaguar." The Blue mist-like Pony said.
"And I'm Cheetah Master who mastered the Spirit of the Cheetah." The Yellow mist-like pony said.
“This cave is only for the chosen to see and enter. You three are a little young but who can we question about fate." Tiger Master said.
"Um, if you don't mind, how did you become mist-like and what are those behind you?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"10,000 years ago, there was a great war between ponies and animals. Though ponies were declared the smartest out of the all the animals, there was one that thought he was better." Jaguar Master started.
"His name is Joi-Shi. A creature that was mixed with every animal. He tried to overthrow the Ponies and many animals helped him." Cheetah Master said.
"It is said that his brother Dai-Shi is trying to take over another world, but we don't know what is going on there." Tiger Master said. "We are but the few Masters to fight in that war, some of the animals cared for us and fought with us. It was a long war, but we won in the end." Jaguar Master said.
"The three animals behind us are the Tiger Spirit, the Jaguar Spirit and the Cheetah Spirit." Cheetah Master said.
"We watch over this land, waiting for the new ponies to master the spirits. We never thought it would be three fillies." Tiger Master said.
"Ya sure it’s not a mistake? I mean we came here trying to find our way back home." Apple Bloom questioned.
"It is no mistake young one. But tell us, who are you?" Cheetah Master asked.
"I'm Apple Bloom, an earth pony that works on an Apple Farm." Apple Bloom said first.
"I'm Sweetie Belle, me and my sister are unicorns that live together in our own house which is also a shop for dresses." Sweetie said.
"And I'm Scootaloo, a pegasus that can't fly right now, but one day hopes to be the greatest flyer!" Scootaloo said last.
"We see." Jaguar Master said before all three masters turn to their animal spirits.
"It appears that our Animal Spirits want to go with you." Cheetah Master said.
"Huh?" The three fillies asked.
"Yes, our animal spirits want to leave but only if the chosen ones will agree to use them." Tiger Master said.
"Why can't you leave?" Sweetie asked.
"Our bodies are long gone and we are stuck in this cave. If we try to leave we fade away along with our animal spirits." Jaguar Master said.
Sweetie Belle looked at the three animals and nodded.
"Ok, we'll take them to see the world they been missing." She said.
"We will?" The other two asked.
"Thank you, and now to give each of you an animal spirit of ours." Cheetah Master said.
"Scootaloo, though you are a little reckless, you are willing to stand up with your friends. For that I give you the strength of the Tiger Spirit." Tiger Master said as the Tiger Spirit roared and walked over to her.
"Apple Bloom, though you are very brave and point out mistakes, you never let anything stop you. For that I give you the stealth of the Jaguar Spirit." Jaguar Master said as the Jaguar Spirit roared and walked over to her.
"Sweetie Belle, though you are emotionless, you're trying to tell the truth and understand how others feel. For that I give you the speed of the Cheetah Spirit." Cheetah Master said as the Cheetah Spirit roared and walked over to her.
"With these three animal spirits, you are now a team." Tiger Master said.
"Master your animal spirits and one day you too can be masters." Jaguar Master said next.
"Though there is another reason why we give you animal spirits. Are you familiar with the Pony Rangers?" Cheetah Master said then asked.
"Yeah! We have the Element Pony Rangers back at Ponyville." Sweetie Belle said.
"Though they have been fighting the monsters they meet, they failed to notice another evil working behind the scenes while watching them." Tiger Master said.
"A few days ago Joi-Shi had escaped his prison and has been working on a new army to overthrow the ponies. He even took another pony’s body so he can fit in." Jaguar Master said.
"Your Element Pony Rangers will not be able to stop him once he's ready. So we need you to become Rangers as well." Cheetah Master said.
"What?! You want us to be Pony Rangers?!" Scootaloo asked in shock.
"Yes, here take these." Tiger Master said before he made three sunglasses appear, each one was red, blue, or yellow.
"These may look like sunglasses, but they are the keys to calling your animal spirits." Jaguar Master told them.
"When you need to use them, just tap the side button and say 'Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleash,' and you will morph into the Jungle Fury Pony Rangers." Cheetah Master said.
"There are also rules that you must follow." Tiger Master warned them.
"First, never escalate a battle unless you need to." Jaguar Master said first.
"Second, never use your powers for personal gain." Cheetah Master said next.
"And finally, keep your identities secret. These rules are being followed by the very same Rangers you know." Tiger Master said last.
"Ok, Ah can live by those rules." Apple Bloom said taking the blue sunglasses.
"Yeah, plus I think Rarity wouldn't be happy if she found out I was a Ranger." Sweetie Belle said taking the yellow sunglass.
"It’s kind of cool, we pretend to be Pony Rangers but now we are real Pony Rangers." Scootaloo said taking the red sunglasses.
"Good, if you get into fights and can't win, call your animal spirits and they will aid you." Tiger Master said.
"Now you may leave. We can rest in peace now that there is somepony else to use our animal spirits." Jaguar Master said.
"Mastering the animal spirits won't be easy, but we believe you can do it." Cheetah Master said.
"We won't let you down Masters. If this Joi-Shi shows his face then we'll stop him and make sure the Element Rangers won't have any problems when they fight him." Scootaloo said.
The three masters nodded and started to disappear.
"Good luck Pony Rangers." They said before fading away.
"Now how are we going to hide three animal spirits?" Sweetie Belle asked.
To answer her question, the three animal spirits entered their bodies. It was strange at first but they knew they had to get used to it. They were able to find their way out thanks to the animal spirits, but what they didn't know was that they would become rangers soon than they thought.
Deep in a mountain area far from Ponyville, there was a castle hidden from sight. Camion, a pony with the chameleon spirit was watching over creatures called Rinshi that were not ponies or animals, in a matter of fact nopony knows what they are. They took the forms of ponies to copy their master.
Speaking of their master, Joi-Shi walked up to Camion and said, "Any reports about the Rangers we’ve been watching?"
"Yes, their fallen ranger has returned and now has a white tiger." Camion said bowing.
"There’s nothing like the White Tiger Spirit, but even with it they will be no match for us." Joi-Shi said.
"I also report that they are at Canterlot Castle for a few days." Camion added.
"Hm, I think it is time to test our warriors, they look restless." Joi-Shi said.
"I'll lead them to the village you are after master." Camion bowed.
"Yes, but leave the Ponies alive, I want them to know that I have returned." Joi-Shi said and walked away.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders were walking back to their tree-house talking about what happened in the Everfree Forest.
"Wow, I never thought we would get the chance to be rangers." Scootaloo said.
"Shhh! Not so loud Scootaloo, remember the third rule?" Apple Bloom said.
"Don't worry, I’m just surprise we are rangers, that’s all.", Scootaloo said, "It would be awesome if Rainbow Dash could know."
"Well she and the others are at Canterlot for a few days but we still can't tell them." Sweetie reminded them.
Then their animal spirits acted up telling them something was wrong.
"What is it?" Sweetie ask.
Their question was soon answered by a group of Ponies running past them.
"What? There's an attack in Ponyville?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Well, what do we have here?" They heard a voice and turned to see Camion. "Who are you?" Scootaloo ask.
"I'm Camion, my master Joi-Shi wants to test this village’s strength while the Rangers are away." he said.
The three Fillies knew that these guys were trouble, but how did they know the Rangers were gone was beyond them. They only saw the Rangers when there is trouble. They stood their ground, they were given power to protect Ponyville, and since they were told the Element Rangers were gone, they will have to take their place until then.
"Oh, this is cute. You three think you can stop us? Rinshi, attack!" Camion said.
That was a big problem for the three fillies. They just got their animal spirits and they haven't even gotten a chance to train. Luckily, the three big cats were ahead of them. Their spirits increased their senses and got ready to teach them how to fight in each style. Scootaloo felt something in the back of her mind telling her to duck and she did. A Rinshi tried to attack from behind and missed when Scootaloo ducked. She kicked back knocking it into a few more Rinshis.
Sweetie Belle kept ducking and jumping mostly out of fear, but the Cheetah Spirit helped her. Sweetie Belle started to move a bit faster and was able to knock the Rinshi down.
Apple Bloom had a little more luck on her side. Due to her growing up on an Apple farm, she was pretty tough on her own. She bucked left and right taking out Rinshi as she did. The Jaguar Spirit helped by warning her about incoming attacks.
The three were doing well, but they couldn't hold out for long. While being small helped them a lot, the Rinshis were able to overpower them, and they were tossed away.
"Hmph, you did well, but you are no match for us." Camion said.
"What do we do now?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"We got to hold off until the Rangers get here but I'm not sure if we can." Apple Bloom answered.
Scootaloo felt something land on her nose and she reached to grab it. That’s when she saw it was the ed sunglasses that the Masters gave her.
"Girls, let call our Animal Spirits. Remember, we are Pony Rangers. We can protect Ponyville in the Element Rangers’ place." She told her friends.
Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom nodded, then took out their sunglasses and put them on.
"You think those things will help you?" Camion asked thinking they were joking.
But they weren't. They put them on and pushed the button on the side.
"JUNGLE BEAST! SPIRIT UNLEASH!"
As the colored mist appeared around them, they suddenly grew to be fully grow mares. Still no cutie marks, but they didn't worry about that as they were colored in three colors.
Sweetie Belle was covered in yellow with spots down her side. She had a bit of black on her shoulders and front legs. Her helmet was also yellow with spots on it.
Apple Bloom was covered in blue with spots as well but her suit had more spots than the others. She also had a bit of black on her shoulders and arms and her helmet had them too.
Scootaloo was covered in red with stripes instead of spots going down her side. She, like the others, had a bit of black on her shoulders and her front legs. Her helmet was also red with stripes down the middle.
All three had thunderbolt-like stripes on their crest.
Camion looked in shock on at what he just saw. Three fillies just used animal spirits to change into three creatures.
"Who are you!?" He shouted.
The three smiled under their helmets and answered.
"With the stealth of a Jaguar, Jungle Fury Blue Ranger!" Apple Bloom said getting into a position that showed was she ready to attack.
"With the speed of a Cheetah, Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger!" Sweetie Belle said getting into a position that showed she was ready to defend.
"With the strength of a Tiger, Jungle Fury Red Ranger!" Scootaloo said getting into a position that showed she was ready to both attack and defend.
"JUNGLE FURY PONY RANGERS!" They all shouted.
"What! More Pony Rangers?!" Camion shouted.
"We are allies to the Element Rangers! We protect Ponyville while they are away." Scootaloo said.
"And now, to make sure that it standing when they get back!" Apple Bloom said.
"Let take them down." Sweetie Belle added.
"Rinshi, attack!" Camion shouted and the two groups charged.
Thanks to using their animal spirits, the three were on a whole new game. They started to take down Rinshi left and right. One filly saw the fight and took a quick picture. He ran off before getting spotted. Sweetie Belle took down three Rinshis with a roundhouse kick before seeing some Rinshi charge at her.
"Call for the Beast inside, Bring out the Cheetah!" She said and the Cheetah Spirit appeared. It took out a few Rinshi as Sweetie Belle looked in surprise.
Apple Bloom saw what Sweetie Belle did and tried it herself.
"Call for the Beast inside, Unleash the Jaguar!" She said and the Jaguar Spirit appeared. Like the Cheetah Spirit, it took out a few Rinshi.
Scootaloo ducked under one Rinshi’s attack and kicked it away. She turned and saw even more of them.
"Call for the Beast inside, Free the Tiger!" She shouted and the Tiger spirit appeared.
In no time all the Rinshi were defeated. The three Jungle Rangers stood ready to fight Camion, but he decided now was not the time to fight.
"You won this fight! But you will pay!" He said and disappeared.
"Whoa! He’s gone!" Sweetie Belle said.
"Joi-Shi try to attack Ponyville, but how did he know the Element Rangers were away at the time?" Apple Bloom asked.
"I think the bigger question is, how are we going to explain Ponyville there’s another team of rangers here." Scootaloo stated.
They three looked at each other before spotting a crowd moving toward them slowly. All three of them understood. After all, there was a group of evil rangers.
"Do not fear us. We are good Rangers." Scootaloo called out.
"Yes, we are here to help the Element Rangers." Apple Bloom said next.
"We are the Jungle Fury Pony Rangers." Sweetie Belle said last.
Then they jumped away leaving many ponies in confusion and awe.
Back at the their clubhouse, the CMC sat down and looked over their sunglasses.
"Who would thought the three of us would become Pony Rangers." Sweetie Belle said.
"Remember girls, we are allies of the Element Rangers, we not trying to take their place." Apple Bloom said.
"Relax, Apple Bloom. I bet they are just as surprised as the rest of Ponyville to see another team of Rangers." Scootaloo said.
"Yeah, Ah know, but who can say the Joi-Shi won't try again and go after the Element Rangers next? They won't stand a chance." Apple Bloom said.
"Then we'll stop him before he does. After all, when not looking for our Cutie marks, we can be ready to fight Joi-Shi and make sure the Element Pony Rangers fight to protect Ponyville just like us." Sweetie Belle said.
The three high hoof and shouted "JUNGLE FURY! PONY RANGERS!" before they covered their mouths.
"We got to work on our shouts when we’re not morphed." Sweetie Belle said before the other two nodded.
Camion appeared back in the Castle and bowed.
"We have a new problem. There’s another group of Rangers that call themselves Jungle Fury." He said.
"More Pony Rangers? Hm...", Joi-Shi said, "Find out what you can about these Rangers and continue to watch the Element Rangers. If those two team up, they could be troublesome."
"Yes, Master. There is one thing I found out when meeting them. They start out as fillies and have the animal spirits of the Tiger, Jaguar, and Cheetah." Camion said.
"The Jungle Cats? They met the Masters. Most impressive. They will be tested, so I can see if they can face me with my new body once it is time. They can't stand up to the King of the Beasts." Joi-Shi said and walk away.
"The new Team of Rangers have stated to be allies of the Element Rangers and that they will help to save Ponyville. It is still unclear if they are helpers, but hopefully they can stay true to what they said." Rainbow read off the paper.
It has been five hours since the Element Rangers got back from Canterlot, and the paper was already covering a new team of Rangers. Rainbow couldn't believe there was another team of Rangers, and she believed they were just fans, not that she minded it, but it sounded like somepony was trying to steal their thunder, and Rainbow wasn't happy about that.
"Come on Rainbow, Don't get ya tail in a knot. Celestia herself told us that Ponyville was safe before we could morph." Applejack said.
Rainbow rolled her eyes. She still didn't like this one bit.
"You know, these Jungle Fury Rangers do sound like they're on our side. I mean, we already have to deal with evil Rangers." Fluttershy said.
"It is nice to have another team watch and protect Ponyville when we are away.", Twilight said, "Maybe if we can meet them..."
"And tell them to let the pros handle the danger!" Rainbow said cutting Twilight off.
"Oh, Dashie! It not like they are trying to replace us. In fact I heard that they said that they are here to help, and that they came from the Cakes!" Pinkie said happily.
"I still don't trust them." Rainbow said crossing her hooves.
Before more could be talk about it, they heard something else.
"WHOA!" *CRASH!*
They jump up and ran outside, there they saw Scootaloo wearing a training suit that was red and looked to have a thunderbolt on it. Closing in were Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle also wearing training suits that was blue and yellow.
"Ow, mastering this tiger technique is harder than it looks." Scootaloo said as she stood up.
"Scoots? What are you and the girls doing?" Rainbow asked as they walk up.
"Hey Rainbow Dash, you'll be glad to heard that the Cutie Mark Crusaders are done with dangerous stunts." Scootaloo said.
"Yeah, we want to try out some fighting move you try to teach Apple Bloom and so far no luck." Sweetie Belle said.
"But Sweetie Belle, why would you what to learn that kind of stuff?" Rarity ask.
"We heard about the new team of rangers, and the things they fought." Sweetie Belle said.
"And after being saved by both the Element Rangers and the Jungle Fury Rangers, we want to be able to defend ourselves." Apple Bloom said.
"What’s the Tiger Technique?" Pinkie ask.
"And what is a Tiger?" Applejack added.
"A Tiger is a big cat that has stripes, and I’ve never met one, but it would be nice." Fluttershy said.
"The Tiger Technique is something I made up, and my technique isn’t the only one." Scootaloo said.
"I have what is called the Cheetah Technique." Sweetie Belle said.
"And mine is called the Jaguar Technique." Apple Bloom said.
"OH! More big cats! Wait, I remember something, those three are called the jungle cats." Fluttershy realized.
"You three wouldn't happen to know anything about the Jungle Fury Rangers would you?" Rainbow asked.
"Rainbow Dash! They are just fillies, they’re fans of the Element Rangers, so who can say there aren’t fans of those other Rangers too?" Applejack said.
"Yeah, heh, fans." Scootaloo said quietly.
"Hey Twilight, do you have anything about our techniques?" Sweetie Belle asked her.
"Huh? Well, yes, but are you three sure about this? I understand you want to protect yourselves." Twilight asked to be sure.
"In the words of Big Macintosh, Eyep!" Apple Bloom said.
Twilight could see that they weren't going to back down, so she went in to the library and brought out a book that had everything about hoof-to-hoof combat and all fighting moves.
"Thanks Twilight!" The three said and ran off.
"That was weird." Rainbow said.
"So now what?" Pinkie asked.
"I guess we go and find these Jungle Fury Pony Rangers and give them a piece of my mind." Rainbow said.
The other rolled their eyes and walk back in Twilight's house.
At the Castle of Joi-Shi, Camion walked up to his master and bowed.
"I have a Rinshi that will test both Rangers teams." He said and a Rinshi dressed a lot different than the rest with something on its head that looked like a Praying Mantis.
"Mantor, the spirit of the Praying Mantis will fight the Element and Jungle Fury Rangers." Camion said.
"Good, now go! And see if these rangers are worth fighting!" Joi-Shi said.
“Yes, my master!" Mantor said and walk away.
"Camion, go with him. Make sure you can try to keep the Element Rangers fighting us so they can fall." Joi-Shi ordered him.
Camion bowed and followed Mantor out.
Thanks to reading the book they got from Twilight, the CMC's were able to use most of the fighting moves they learned and they even learned how to use their animal spirits to increase their senses.
"Wow! Who knew Twilight had something like this." Sweetie Belle said kicking an dummy.
"This book really helped out. It’s like we are morphed when we're not." Scootaloo agreed.
"It has been quiet and we got lots of time to train, but Ah can't shake the feeling that Joi-Shi is about to attack." Apple Bloom said.
Their animal spirits acted up as a warning confirming Apple Bloom’s suspicions. They looked away and saw that something was attacking Ponyville.
They ran outside of their clubhouse and into Ponyville. They saw the Rinshi again and knew what to do.
Scootaloo jumped over one and bucked it before standing on her back hooves and starting to use her Tiger Techniques. She knocked one Rinshi down and kicked the other away.
Apple Bloom slid under one Rinshi and jumped up to uppercut the Rinshi in front her. Then she used the Jaguar Technique. She punched one away before flipping into the air and kicked out both legs that hit two Rinshis.
Sweetie Belle sped past three Rinshis and rammed into another one. She then tried to use the Cheetah Technique. Sweetie started to more faster than normal, and she able to block and counter some attacks.
The three regrouped and nodded. They took out their morphers and put them on.
"JUNGLE BEAST! SPIRIT UNLEASH!"
Once more they become fully grown mares, and they charged into the battle as Pony Rangers Jungle Fury. They charged back into the fight and took down some Rinshis. Sweetie Belle kicked down a Rinshi and turned to punch another one down.
"Cheetah Jab!" She shouted and started to punch a Rinshi at fast speeds before knocking it away.
Apple Bloom jumped on one Rinshi and rolled on the ground and jumped back up. She caught one of the Rinshi spears and spun around before pulling it to her and kicking it down.
Scootaloo charged and sweep kicked a Rinshi down before getting back up and blocking another attack. She jumped away as three Rinshis tried to stab her. She kicked the spears away and jumped over them and hit the others from behind.
The three took down the Rinshis in no time at all. The three high hoofed before hearing somepony speak up.
"Ok, I admit, that wasn't bad." They heard.
They turned and saw the Element Pony Rangers step up. They stood in a line and held out their hooves to shake. Five of them shook hooves, only the Red Element Ranger didn't.
"You three were so good!" The Pinkie Element Ranger shouted.
"Yeah, looked like you three have been doing this for years." The Blue Element Ranger added.
"What are those things?" The Yellow Element Ranger asked.
"Rinshis, they are warriors that were sent by their master, Joi-Shi." Scootaloo answered.
"Joi-Shi?" The Red Element Ranger repeated.
"Yes, long ago there was a war between animals and Ponies. Joi-Shi lead the animals to fight ponies, however some animals cared for the ponies and helped them. That was about 10,000 years ago." Sweetie Belle said.
"Oh, my! All those poor animals." The Yellow Element Ranger gasped.
"There, there dear, I'm sure they were ok afterwards." The Black Element Ranger said to her.
"So what’s your story, Rookies?" The Red Element Ranger asked.
"We were given animal spirits from the Tiger, Jaguar, and Cheetah Masters. They had told us that Joi-Shi was watching you while you fight your monsters and had us fight these Rinshis." Apple Bloom said.
"We see, thank you for helping keep Ponyville safe." The White Element Ranger said.
Before more could be said, a strange attack shot out and they two Ranger groups jumped back. The Jungle Fury Rangers weren’t sure but they thought it looked like a tongue. They followed and saw they were right, only they never thought they would see a pony do that.
"Camion!" Scootaloo said and the Jungle Fury Rangers got ready.
"Did dat pony stick out it tongue out in, like, ten feet?" The Blue Element Ranger asked.
"Why yes, I did. I have the Spirit of the Chameleon." As soon as he said that he gained an armor that looked like a Chameleon.
"And he’s not alone." said another voice.
The Rangers watched as another creature stepped out that looked like a bug.
"A Praying Mantis?" Yellow Element Ranger asked.
"Ah, the Ranger that loves animals. You know, our master wants us to let you live as we get rid of the others." Mantor said.
"You're not going to get rid of any Ponies!" Scootaloo said.
"Leave this to us." Red Element Ranger said.
"No way! Our animal spirits were given to us to stop Joi-Shi. We're not backing down." Scootaloo said.
"Leave this to the pros, you Phony Rangers!" Red Element Ranger shouted getting in Scootaloo’s face.
"Element Red!", White Element Ranger shouted, "They may have a point."
"What?!" Element Red demanded.
"Heh, and I was told to test the Jungle Fury Rangers, but it looks like I’m testing the Element Rangers as well." Mantor said.
"No you're not!" Scootaloo said and jumped out at them.
"Jungle Red wait!" Apple Bloom said trying to stop her.
Scootaloo didn't listen and she soon started to attack both Camion and Mantor.
Mantor was able to slash Scootaloo as Camion slash down with his sais. Scootaloo rolled on the ground as they walked up.
"Charging head first into battle is not a smart idea." Camion said.
"Cheetah Jab!" Sweetie Belle shouted and got in front of them and hit them back.
Apple Bloom ran up and helped Scootaloo get up.
"They're right about that, we can't just head into a fight. We need time to look them over before we can fight them." She said.
"You deal with the Jungle Rangers, I'll have the Element Rangers." Camion said.
"Sure thing! Taking down two Ranger groups will be a snap." Mantor said.
The Jungle Fury Rangers readied themselves as the Element Rangers did as well. Mantor started to slash down the Jungle Fury Rangers as Camion did with the Element Rangers. Scootaloo got up and started to throw attacks she knew but all of it was blocked and countered. Apple Bloom rushed in and grabbed Mantor but she was knocked off. Sweetie Belle ran up and tried to attack again but she couldn't do anything either. Mantor slashed all three away and turned to see Camion was still battling the Element Rangers.
"Too bad for you! You rangers are history now." Mantor said and started to walk up them.
Before he got close, a howl was heard and everyone stopped.
"What was that?!" Mantor ask before he was attacked by a purple mist.
Once it remained still only Element Yellow knew what it was.
"A wolf?" She asked out loud.
Soon, a purple mist-like pony stepped up and look at Mantor.
"You won't be harming these three students." He said.
"Huh? Who are you?" Mantor ask.
"I'm Wolf Master! And this is the spirit of the Wolf." He said.
The wolf spirit howled as if it was ready to fight once more.
"Ha! You can't even touch us any more! Your body is long gone!" Camion said.
"Maybe so, but I have found someone to take my power and he will join us once he is ready." Wolf Master said.
"Huh? Who's that?" Scootaloo asked.
"You'll know in time Rangers. But first to remove the traitor and this foul creature." He said.
"Traitor?" The Rangers ask.
"Wolf Spirit, ATTACK!" Wolf Master said and the Wolf Spirit did as he commanded.
Mantor was easily knocked away due to he can't hurt a spirit. The Wolf tried to go after Camion next but he quickly got away. The two Ranger groups walked up to him as the Wolf Spirit howled in victory.
"Wow! That was awesome." Scootaloo said.
"Thank you, young student of the Tiger Master." Wolf Master said.
"So it’s true? There was a war between ponies and animals?" Element Yellow asked him.
"Yes, I am one of the Master that fought in the war." Wolf Master said.
"You said traitor earlier, who did you mean?" Element White asked.
"Camion, he was once a pony that used the spirit of the chameleon to spy on our enemies, but he betrayed us for ever lasting life." Wolf Master said.
"What, you mean that pony is over 10,000 years old?" Element Pink asked in surprise.
"Yes, and he is not the only one, but there is no time, Jungle Fury Rangers." Wolf Master said before turning to the Rangers he called for.
"Yes master?" The three said.
"I have to take you some where to train for a bit. You will need it." He said. "We see.", Scootaloo said, "See you Element Rangers later."
Soon the Wolf Master and the Jungle Fury Rangers disappeared as the Wolf Spirit covered them.
"Ok, is anypony else just as confused as I am?" Element Red asked.
"I'll send a note to the Princess about the new team and that war." Element White said.
The CMC appeared in the Everfree forest and discovered they were un-morph.
"Huh? What are we doing here?" Scootaloo asked.
"You have found your Spirit Animals in the Everfree Forest, so this is where you must train with your new weapons." Wolf Master said.
"Weapons?" The CMC asked.
"Don't worry, they will only hurt the Rinshis, but first you must learn how to use them." Wolf Master said before three fake weapons they never saw before appeared.
"Apple Bloom, these are your Jungle Tonfas. Designed to be held by ponies hooves." He said.
Apple Bloom looked at them, they were two sticks with a perpendicular handle attached a third of the way down the length of the stick, and it is about 15-20 inches long but shortened to fit her hooves. Once she grabbed them, she started to do tricks she didn't know she had thanks to her animal spirit.
"Sweetie Belle, this is your Jungle Bo. Use it to stop Joi-Shi’s evil animals spirits from long range." He said next.
Sweetie Belle saw that the Bo was a very tall and long staff, normally around 1.8 m (5.9 ft) long, but shortened for her size. Like Apple Bloom, Sweetie grabbed it and started doing tricks she didn't know she had because of her animal spirit.
"And Scootaloo, these are your Jungle Chunks. Use them for quick movements to take down any Rinshi in your way." He said last. Scootaloo saw that the chucks were two sticks connected at one end by a short rope. Unlike Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle, she did not know how to use them.
"Well Scootaloo, what are you waiting for? Use them." Sweetie Belle asked.
"Um...I don't know how." She answered.
"It appear Scootaloo has not learn the importance of teamwork." Wolf Master said.
"What? But I do! How can I not know?" Scootaloo asked in shock.
"The fight you were in, shows that you was really to fight on your own instead with your team. Your animal spirit knows this, and therefore doesn't help you like your friends’ animal spirits are doing for them. If you are a team, you must work together. Only then will the next lesson be learned." Wolf Master said turning away.
Scootaloo couldn't believe it. She wanted to show the Element Rangers that she and her friends are here to help, but if she doesn't learn about teamwork as a Ranger then they will never stop Joi-Shi. Scootaloo sighed.
"Teach me." She said.
"I can not. I have to return to my Student. He is almost done with his training, and he will join you soon." Wolf Master said.
"When can we meet him?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Soon, young rangers, very soon." He said before disappearing.
"I'm going to train." Scootaloo said.
Her two friends watched as she walked off carrying her Jungle Chucks. They felt sorry for Scootaloo, but they thought they should leave her be for right now and train as well. Taking their Jungle weapons back out, they started to practice with them.
Rainbow flew through the air not happy. She met the Jungle Fury Rangers and Twilight had agreed they were friends and fellow rangers. She on the other hoof didn't think they were members yet. Like the Element Rangers, they appeared from nowhere and started calling themselves Rangers, except for a few things. Celestia said that she didn't send these Rangers, and Luna was still recovering from her time as Nightmare Moon. So who sent them and why? Rainbow was turn away from her thoughts when she heard something below her.
"OUCH! Come on, I can do this...OUCH!" She heard.
Rainbow decided to see what was up. She landed near a clearing and saw Scootaloo waving what she knew as chucks around and hit her head a few times.
"Come on, I got to learn about teamwork if I'm going to master these techniques." She heard her say before she started waving the Chucks again.
Rainbow watched as Scootaloo hit the back of her head and grabbed it in pain. She saw that tears were showing in her eyes.
Rainbow sighed, Scootaloo was taking this new training really seriously. Maybe she should help her out. The question about teamwork ran through her head but she just ignored it.
"Hey squirt!" Rainbow said as she walked up.
Scootaloo snapped her head up and quickly wiped her tears away. She turned to see Rainbow and put on the best smile she could.
"Hey Rainbow Dash! What up?" She said.
"I should ask you that.", Rainbow said, "What are you doing out here?"
Scootaloo sighed and picked up her Jungle Chucks.
"Training." She answered and tried again only to hit her head once more.
"I see, for using fake chucks, they got to hurt." Rainbow said as she flinched from another hit Scootaloo gave herself.
Scootaloo said nothing. She didn't want Rainbow to think she'll give up easily. She was about to try again when Rainbow stopped her.
"You know, maybe I can give you a few pointers about how to use these." She said.
Scootaloo was shocked, Rainbow was giving her some help on using her Jungle Chucks? She always thought Rainbow would give her pointers on flying but not chucks.
"I used these when I was young too. Trust me, my parents thought I was in a fight every time I came home with bumps on my head." Rainbow said smiling.
"Really?" Scootaloo asked.
"Sure did! Hang on, I'll be right back." Rainbow said then flew off.
Once Rainbow returned, she gave Scootaloo a helmet and started to help her train. Scootaloo still kept hitting her head, but thanks to the helmet she didn't feel anything. Hours passed and Rainbow kept helping Scootaloo and soon Scootaloo was able to use her Chucks without hitting her head. She waved the chucks at the fake scarecrow pony that was made earlier. Scootaloo knocked it clear off the stick and smiled.
"Nice work Scoots." Rainbow said proudly.
"Thanks Rainbow Dash." Scootaloo said smiling.
Then her tiger spirit warned her about some trouble as Rainbow’s element went off.
"Listen Scoots I got to go and keep up the training." Rainbow said.
"Yeah, I got to go too. The others are probably wondering where I am." Scootaloo said.
The two Pegasi ran from each other looking for a safe place to morph. Once Scootaloo found a place, she pulled out her Sunglasses and put them on then hit the button on the side.
"JUNGLE BEAST! SPIRIT UNLEASHED!" She said and become the Jungle Fury Red Ranger.
The Jungle Fury and Element Rangers were fighting Rinshis again as Camion watched. He smiled, Mantor had come up with a plan to destroy the Ponyville dam to flood Ponyville. It happened before only this time nopony was going to stop it. Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom jumped away before looking at each other and nodding.
"Jungle Tonfas! Jungle Bo!" They said and pulled out their weapons now normal size.
Apple Bloom blocked one of the spears and used her other Tonfa to knock a few down as she spun around. She flipped the spear away and kicked the Rishi away.
Sweetie Belle flipped in a group of Rishis and use her bo to trip a few before ducking low and letting the spears cover her. She pushed back up and spun around to knock the Rinshis down. She then stuck her Bo behind her and hit a Rishi that tried to sneak up on her.
Camion was surprised to see the Jungle Fury Rangers have new weapons but he relaxed. It didn't matter to him, the dam was about to explode and there was nothing that could be done about it. He heard the explosion and jumped to higher ground.
The Ranger heard it as well and saw the water raging towards them. They quickly jumped to higher ground and turned to see Mantor walk through the water now 30 feet tall.
"Girls!" The rangers heard two voices call out.
Soon Scootaloo (as Jungle Fury Red) and Rainbow (as Element Red) appeared and ran up to them.
"What happened?" Scootaloo asked.
"And what’s that?" Rainbow added.
"The dam busted and it looks like that mantis is behind it." Element White said.
Rainbow turned to the Jungle Fury Rangers who were talking about how it was going to be stopped.
"Hey, Jungle Rangers!", She called out having them turn to her, "We got this go see if any pony needs help from the flood!"
"You got it!" Scootaloo said knowing that they can't handle this yet.
The Element Rangers nodded and put up their hoofs.
"WE NEED DINOZORD POWER NOW! WHITE TIGER ZORD I SUMMON YOU!"
Scootaloo spotted some ponies hanging on to the side of a building close by and quickly helped them up.
"You ok?" She asked.
They nodded and looked up to see the Element Megazord as well as the White Tiger Zord in battle mode fighting Mantor. The problem was they were losing, badly.
"We’ve got to help them." Sweetie Belle said, fearing for their safely.
Scootaloo turned back to the ponies she saved and said, "Get to safely."
They nodded again and ran off. Scootaloo looked at the Megazord and White Tiger Battlezord. She knew it was important to use teamwork and she was ready to try.
"Girls, I'm sorry about before. I guess I was so caught up on trying to show we are here to help I forgot about teamwork. So this time let’s use it to help the Element Rangers." She said.
"And you have learned the next technique." Wolf Master said as he appeared.
"Wolf Master?" The three asked when they saw him.
"Combine your Animal Spirits to from the Jungle Pride Megazord. Remember, work as a team to beat this evil animal spirit." He said before disappearing.
"Let’s do it for the Element Rangers and Ponyville." Scootaloo said.
"ANIMAL SPIRITS UNITED AS ONE!!!" They shouted as their jungle cat spirits appeared in their misty forms then appeared as zords as the mist faded from them.
The Cheetah and Jaguar Spirits folded their legs up and move their bodies up until their heads were facing straight. The Tiger was different, it folded its back legs when it jumpup and the Cheetah and Jaguar combine with the Tiger as it roared and a face appeared.
The Jungle Fury Rangers appeared inside and were ready for battle.
"JUNGLE PRIDE MEGAZORD!!!" They shouted.
Mantor had already knocked both the Element Megazord and the White Tiger Battlezord to the ground and laughed.
"So long Rangers, it was fun!" He said and rose his pincers.
The Element Rangers braced themselves as he brought them down. Before the blow was made, he was kicked away. The Element Rangers looked in surprise as they saw a third Megazord standing over them.
"You want to beat them? You got to get past us first!" Scootaloo as the three stood in a fighting position with the Megazord doing the same.
"WHAT?!" Mantor shouted.
"When did they get a Megazord?" Element Pink asked.
"Why don't ya rest for a bit?" Apple Bloom said surprising Element Blue.
"We got this!" Sweetie Belle added.
Camion walked up and saw the Jungle Pride Megazord and scoffed.
"Big deal, they won't last long." He said.
Mantor rushed up and tried to slash them but the Megazord dodged each attack.
"Come on Rangers, let’s show him the meaning of teamwork!" Scootaloo said and they nodded.
As Mantor came in to a rush for attack, the Jungle Pride Megazord jumped over him and landed right behind him and turned around.
"GRRRRR! Hold still!" Mantor said.
"SPIN ATTACK!!!" They shouted and started to spin.
The Megazord did the same and charged at Mantor. He tried to counter but he was taking down by the attack.
"WHAT?! BUT YOU JUST BECAME RANGERS!!!!" He shouted as he lost his color and blew to pieces.
"PONY RANGERS JUNGLE FURY!!!" The Jungle Fury Rangers shouted as the Jungle Pride Megazord made its victory pose.
"It’s clear that the Jungle Fury Rangers are heroes and allies to the Element Rangers. The Element Rangers agreed to leave the new Animal monsters to the Jungle Fury Rangers and agreed that they are here to help." Rainbow read off the paper.
"I see you're warming up to them." Twilight said.
"They saved our flanks. They were right, those new monsters are too strong for us." Rainbow said.
"Glad to hear that." Twilight said smiling.
They were going to talk more when they heard something near the Everfree Forest.
"Wow, Scootaloo! Nice move!" They heard Sweetie Belle’s voice.
"Yeah, thanks to Rainbow Dash, I learned how important it is to use team work." Scootaloo voice came next.
"Rainbow helped ya? Scootaloo that’s cheating." Apple Bloom voice said last.
"Hey, teamwork is imported! We better use it. But I wonder, if we get cutie marks for teamwork I wonder what it could look like." Scootaloo voice said.
The Mane Six shook their heads, the CMC's were never going to change. They walked over and saw them trying to put up some dummies and laying not to far was a Bo, some Chucks, and some Tonfas. Rarity gasped as she saw Sweetie Belle pick up the Bo and was about to walk over and take it from her when she saw how she used it. Applejack’s jaw drop when she saw Apple Bloom pick up the Tonfas and started using them like a pro. Rainbow smiled as she saw Scootaloo use the chucks without a problem. The three fillies went on training as the Mane Six watched. The day was great, the CMC's were learning how to defend themselves and a new Ranger team was accepted.
Camion walked in the temple and bowed at the sight of his master.
"Mantor had failed, the new Rangers can use their Animal Spirits to fight back giant ones as well." He said.
"So, the new Rangers are troublesome? I guess it time to release my fury!” Joi-Shi said as he turn around.
He had taken control of an orange pony with a dark red mane and tail. His cutie mark was a black belt. He let out a roar showing that he had the Spirit of the Lion. The King of the Beasts.
Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, And Scootaloo were having a great time. Apple Bloom was reading the Ponyville newspaper for anything that had them in a article, Sweetie Belle was eating her cupcake that she bought at Sugarcube corner with the money she had saved while she had done chores around her sister's house, and Scootaloo was finishing her speech for the Rainbow Dash Fan Club. She couldn't believe that her number one idol had taught her everything about her Jungle chucks. Apple Bloom was browsing through the jokes when something caught her eye.
"Girls, listen to this." She said to her friends.
Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo looked at her.
"What is it, Apple Bloom?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"The Ponyville newspaper has something that ya’ll might want to hear." Apple Bloom replied back as she looked at the article again.
She saw a picture of Shining Armor above the article and show them.
"It says here: 'Shining Armor, the captain of Princess Celestia's Royal guard, will come to Ponyville on Monday at 3 p.m. at the train station.'." Scootaloo read as the other girls were listening.
"Monday! That's tomorrow!" Sweetie Belle yelled as she grabbed the paper from Apple Bloom.
"What is the big deal about this Sweetie Belle?" Scootaloo asked.
"WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL?! I'll tell you what the big deal is!" Sweetie Belle screamed at her friend as she quickly shut all the windows and the door of the club house.
"Sweetie Belle, What in the hay are ya-" Apple Bloom was about to say before she was cut off by Sweetie Belle.
"Do you think that for one second that HE could be the wolf master's student?!" Sweetie Belle asked Scootaloo and Apple Bloom.
Now, this stumped Scootaloo.
"Well..Heh..I haven't gave it much thought." She replied sheepishly.
"You know, Ah think Sweetie is on to something here." Apple Bloom told the others her thoughts.
"I guess you guys do have a point." Scootaloo sighed, hating to say that she had been defeated, and not just the monsters that they had faced together when they became Pony Rangers, by her friends. "Then it is settled then. Tomorrow we introduce Shining Armor to the town." Sweetie Belle said as the other two nods.
The next day, at the train station.
"Ugh! Where is he?!" Scootaloo asked, more like yelling, to her friends.
"Now Scoots, Ah'm no time expert, but Ah think the article said that he would come to Ponyville at 3 p.m." Apple Bloom remind her.
"And it is only 2:50." Sweetie Belle added on to Apple Bloom’s comment.
"I know, but this is taking forever!" Scootaloo whined as she sat down, her fore-hoofs crossed.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders had asked Twilight if the can show Shining Armor around Ponyville. Of course, Twilight, couldn't refuse. She agreed to this as long, as they just treat him like a normal pony. They waited ever since 2 p.m. at the train station for him.
"Hmm.." Sweetie Belle said as she thought.
That's weird. Joi-Shi hasn't attacked today. I wonder what he is planning. She thought while waiting.
"What is it Sweetie Belle?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Hmm? Oh, Nothing, Apple Bloom." Sweetie Belle answered.
Back at Joi-Shi’s castle.
"Joi-Shi, my lord, the Rangers are getting stronger as we speak." Camion said.
"I know Camion, that is why I have this." Joi-shi cackled as a monster with a head and tail of a arapaima and two fin-like arms walked in the throne room.
"This is Aradon. With the Spirit of the Arapaima." Joi-shi said.
"You always pick the best monsters for the job, my lord." Camion said, trying to impress Joi-Shi.
"Camion, lead Aradon to the village and see to it that the Rangers don't interrupt our plans again." Joi-Shi growled.
Camion, scared that his lord might hurt him, or send him to the underworld, agreed and said, "Yes...My lord." with a bow.
Camion left with Aradon while Joi-Shi said, "Enjoy this day, Rangers. For this is your last. From this moment forth, I will rule forever." He cackled as the doors to his throne room closed.
Back at the train station.
As Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom watched Scootaloo pace around the train station, Aradon made his way to Ponyville, with some help from Camion.
"Alright Aradon, destroy the village and the Pony Rangers!" Camion said, evilly.
"Right." He replied as he stomped towards the town hall and destroyed it using his fins like they were knifes.
Ponies near the monster screamed and galloped in different directions.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders took notice to the explosions and screams from Ponyville.
"Come on y'all, we got to save Ponyville!" Apple Bloom said, as they raced off to the town.
The other fillies nodded to each other and, together, went to save Ponyville.
"Gotta love this destruction!" Aradon chuckled.
"Hey! Fish-Face!" A voice shouted.
With one swift move, a figure knocked over Aradon.
"Hey! Who do you think you are ruining the Master's plan?!" Aradon growled, pushing himself up from the ground.
"We are!" another voice said, a southern accent.
Aradon looked at three fillies.
He laughed at them and said, "What? Three little fillies who don't have their cutie marks yet? How stupid! Now, run along. I have a town and the pony rangers to destroy."
He turned around and was about to continue destroying Ponyville when he heard, "Jungle Beast, Spirit Unleash!"
Aradon then turn around to see that the three fillies were actually the Pony Rangers.
"So how stupid are we now?" The red pony ranger asked.
Aradon stare at them dumbfounded for a second before shaking it off.
"I will destroy you!" Aradon growled as he charged the rangers.
The charge caught all three of them off guard and they were unable to block or counter in time as Aradon held his fins out and cut through the rangers, sparks flying in all directions and knocking them to the ground.
"Is that the best you can do?" Asked the yellow one, struggling to get up.
"You haven't seen my true power!" Aradon shouted as a black and dark purple surround him.
"Chaos missiles!" He shouted and fired missiles at them.
Explosions appear around them and knock them down again, except for Jungle Red, who said, “Girls, I have an idea!”
She then pulled out her Jungle Chucks and twirled them around her, every two seconds sending out a wave of energy, swinging one last time toward Aradon. As she did, an energy wave went straight towards him. However, he just turned his fins into a shield, deflecting an attack that sent the blast right back towards Jungle Red, knocking her down.
None of them notices during the battle that the train pull into the station, and a white stallion got out and saw them.
Are those the ones that I was told about? How are they full grown mares? He thought before getting close.
"HAHAHAHA!" Aradon laugh as the rangers try to stand up.
"Gah! This one’s stronger than the other ones." Scootaloo said.
"We still have to stop him!" Apple Bloom said.
Then out of the blue, a mist of purple, in the shape of a wolf, attacked Aradon. The wolf grabbed him in its jaws and shook him around like he was a toy for him to play with.
"Come on!" A voice shouted to the rangers.
The rangers didn't know what to do, but they knew that Aradon was too much for them to handle right now, and decided that it was best to retreat.
When the purple mist disappeared, the Rangers were gone. Frustrated with himself, Aradon growled and turned and walked to the palace, deciding to tell his master what has happened.
Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo were back at the Clubhouse, sore from all the hits Aradon landed on them. They were also un-morph.
"Oh! My hoofs are so sore." Scootaloo moaned.
"At least it didn't destroy us, like it wanted to." Sweetie Belle said.
"You three fillies are lucky I was there." A voice said.
They turned around to see a White unicorn stallion with a blue shield with a six-pointed star as his cutie-mark. He looked awfully like-
"Shining Armor!!" Apple Bloom shouted, as she bowed in front of the white stallion.
The others looked at her and bowed quickly at Shining Armor. Shining chuckled as the three fillies gathered up themselves.
"I have to ask. What are you doing in Ponyville?" Sweetie Belle ask him.
"Master Phant sent me here to help you guys against Joi-shi. He had contacted me through a dream" He answered.
"Master Phant?" All three of them asked at once.
"Master Phant has the spirit of the Elephant. He too was part of the battle against Joi-shi." Shining Armor explained.
This got Sweetie Belle thinking. If we can't defeat Aradon, maybe Master Phant can. she thought.
Sweetie Belle decided to visit Master Phant and see what he can do about Joi-shi.
"Girls, and stallion, I'm leaving." Sweetie Belle said as she trotted to the door of the clubhouse.
"Where are you going?" Scootaloo asked.
"Over to Fluttershy's Cottage. She might have something about Master Phant." Sweetie Belle answered as she put her saddlebag on and walked out of the clubhouse leaving two confused fillies and one confused stallion behind.
"So what can you tell me about your powers so far?" Shining ask them after shaking it off.
Sweetie Belle walked over to Fluttershy's Cottage thinking about what Shining Armor said. She wasn't sure how she was going to explain to Fluttershy about Master Phant. Nervously, she reach her hoof up and knock on the door. The door opened very slowly to reveal a butterscotch Pegasus pony with a pink mane with three butterflies as her cutie mark.
"Hello? Oh, Hi Sweetie Belle. Come on in." The shy pony said as Sweetie Belle walked in.
"Fluttershy, do you know who Master Phant is?" Sweetie Belle asked, but then quickly cover her mouth with her hoofs.
"No, who are you talking about?" Fluttershy asked.
Sweetie Belle knew there was no way to get out of this. Besides, she felt like her animal spirit was telling her to tell Fluttershy the truth.
"Ok, but you might want to sit down for this." Sweetie Belle answered as she and Fluttershy sat on the couch.
Sweetie Belle then started to tell Fluttershy about her being a pony ranger, which surprised Fluttershy, and her adventures and the new monster, Aradon.
"...And that is why I need to find Master Phant." Sweetie Belle finished, putting on a nervous smile.
"I never knew your were a pony ranger." Fluttershy said as she looked at Sweetie Belle.
Fluttershy thought she could feel something familiar from the Yellow Jungle Fury Ranger, but she never guessed it was Sweetie Belle.
"Will you help me? Please?" Sweetie Belle asked Fluttershy.
Fluttershy thought for a moment. Finally, what seemed like hours, Fluttershy agreed to help Sweetie Belle to find Master Phant.
"Oh thanks! And please don't tell Rarity yet. I don't want her to know until I tell her." Sweetie Belle said.
"Ok, I won't tell." Fluttershy said, knowing about the ranger code. After all, she was a ranger herself.
Fluttershy and Sweetie Belle decided to pack a few thing for the journey like sandwiches, coats, boots, a compass and a map.
"Okay, got the map. Sweetie Belle? Are you ready?" Fluttershy asked Sweetie Belle, as she packed all the things they might need.
"Ready! Let's go." Sweetie Belle replied.
"Now Angel, watch over the house and the other animals and we'll be back before you know it." Fluttershy told her pet.
"Ok, where to?" Sweetie Belle asked as Fluttershy locked the door to her cottage.
"Um, I thought that you have the map." Fluttershy asked her.
"Oh yea." Sweetie Belle remembered as she dig through her saddlebag to find a map.
Finding it, she open it.
"So the map and my spirit animal’s instincts tell me that Master Phant's temple is in the Everfree forest." Sweetie Belle explained to Fluttershy, as they walked on the path to the Everfree forest.
"The Everfree Forest? Ok." Fluttershy said.
This surprised Sweetie Belle. Fluttershy lives close to the Everfree Forest, but not once has she gone in there (not related to the actual TV show).
"You’re not scared of going in?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Of course not. Now are you coming?" Fluttershy asked, trotting up ahead.
"Hey! No fair!" She yelled playfully, as they galloped through the forest.
Back at Joi-Shi’s castle,
Aradon was thrown against the wall by an invisible force. He reported his attack to Joi-Shi, who was not happy.
"You Idiot!" Joi-shi yelled at him as he walked down from his throne.
"But master-" Aradon tried to explain.
"You have failed me." Joi-shi growled.
"Please, Master! I will destroy the rangers! Please give me another chance! I was attacked by the wolf spirit, which is why I was unable to destroy the rangers." Aradon pleaded and then reasoned with his master.
Joi-shi took a minute to think and replied, "Very well, but if you fail me I will take you to the underworld. And to make sure you don't, I'll send Camion with you," he spat with anger before walking to his throne.
Aradon picked himself up and walked out of the throne room, not wanting to return until he has destroy the Rangers.
"Why is it so hard to be a lead villain?" Joi-Shi asked himself before the doors to the throne room closed.
Camion then appeared and said, “Did I do well in punishing him, master?”
Joi-Shi replied, “Yes, now go and do whatever you want before the attack starts.”
“Alright,” Camion replied, vanishing to… Wait… Not so fast Camion! *Teleports Camion to preparing the attack so he can’t change the story.* “Curse you and your power of typing, author…” Camion complained, before he forgets being part of a fanfiction and obeys the author.
In the Everfree Forest...
"Fluttershy, are we there yet?" Sweetie Belle ask, feeling like it been hours since they came in.
"No, we can't seem to find it. Maybe you should let your animal spirit guide you." Fluttershy answer.
“OK, I'll try." Sweetie said and closed her eyes.
Fluttershy watched in surprise as a yellow mist appear around Sweetie Belle, and she soon saw the Cheetah Spirit. It looked around before letting out a growl, pointing the way they need to go. It disappeared as Sweetie opened her eyes.
“C’mon, Fluttershy!” Sweetie said as she ran towards where her spirit told her to go.
Eventually, they found a temple that clearly was made to honor elephants. A little bit of the way in, they came to a trial. Sweetie looked at a sign nearby and read aloud, “To have a chance to receive an elephant’s might, don’t use your horn or wings in this fight. But to succeed and be strong, you must decide which choice is the greater wrong. For to keep everyone standing tall, you must sacrifice something small.”
“What does that mean?” Fluttershy asked before noticing that a filly had appeared.
With the filly, though, there was fire on the other side of the room that was quickly advancing toward the filly. Sweetie Belle noticed as well and said, “Oh no, I have to save him!”
She was about to head over there when she noticed some small objects. They said they were explosive, and Sweetie realized what she had to do. As fast as she could, she got the cans out of the room, but stopped when she came back to the entrance of the room. The little filly was nowhere to be seen, and the flames were gone as well. A voice boomed throughout the room, saying, “The young one has passed. Only she may enter.” Part of the wall then moved aside, revealing a door.
Sweetie Belle looked at Fluttershy, then said, “Thanks for helping me get here.” The two hugged, and Sweetie belle went in.
Meanwhile, back in Ponyville, Scootaloo and Apple Bloom were fighting off the Rinshis. Without Sweetie Belle, they weren't doing as well, but they still managed to fend off the Rinshis. Aradon then appeared, and they morphed. They quickly got their weapons out, and they kept trying to hit Aradon, but he deflected every attack. Then, Apple Bloom put some electricity into her Jungle Tonfas, which stunned Aradon for a second.
Scootaloo said, “I hope Jungle Yellow gets back soon, we need her help to win this fight.”
Apple Bloom agreed, saying, “She better get Master Phant’s help, too.”
In the temple, Sweetie Belle entered the room, where a very old stallion was waiting. After the door closed behind her, she took a good look at the stallion. His mane was green, but he had no cutie mark. It looked as if any second his body would collapse, and he seemed misty and solid at the same time. As Sweetie Belle approached him, he said, “I know why you have come here. You seek my help against Aradon. And you will not receive it.”
Sweetie Belle was shocked and asked, “But why? Joi-Shi will rule the world if you don’t help us! Give me a good reason for not helping us against Joi-Shi!”
Master Phant replied, “I am weak, and my elephant spirit has grown old with me. I need somepony young with the quick but wise mind to bring him back to his young years again.”
As if on cue, the elephant spirit appeared, looking very old and about to die. After it appeared, Master Phant continued, “Yes, the sign for the trial said you may have a chance for the help of the elephant. And, you managed to pass the trial. However, you will not receive my help because you don’t have a good reason for it.”
Sweetie pondered over this, and replied, “If you help us in the fight against Joi-Shi, then I will do everything I can for your elephant spirit.” Her morpher then went off, and she heard Scootaloo say, “Sweetie Belle! We need your help against Aradon! We found a way to stun him, but only for a second!”
“Master Phant, I hope you think about what I said. I have to go to Ponyville and help my friends, but we could use your help against Joi-Shi.” She then left the temple with Fluttershy, leaving Master Phant pondering what he should do.
Back in Ponyville, Sweetie Belle arrived at the fight morphed, but she was attacked by some Rinshis.
She shouted “Get out of the way!” and went cheetah on the Rinshi.
Once they were gone, she got to Aradon, only to see him attack her friends. Aradon attacked with the chaos missiles again, knocking down Scootaloo and Apple Bloom.
“Hey, Fish-Face! Leave my friends alone!” Sweetie Belle shouted at Aradon.
Aradon heard her and said, “You gonna make me?”
Sweetie Belle replied by attacking him with her Jungle Bo, using every attack she knew, while Aradon blocked most of them. She then swung her Bo under his guard, hitting him and forcing him to drop his guard. She then charged electricity into her Jungle Bo and hitting him in the head, electrocuting him a little bit.
Camion suddenly appeared and said, “Aradon! Joi-Shi feels you need some help, so take the Scale Armor!”
Aradon then got an armor that looked a little bit like it was made from hardened fish scales. No matter what Sweetie Belle did, she couldn't break the armor, while Aradon kept slashing her down. Right as Sweetie Belle was knocked down again, Aradon summoned a dark and purple energy field and unleashed his chaos missiles.
Right before Sweetie Belle was hit though, she did what nobody thought she would do. She twirled her Jungle Bo in front of her very quickly and somewhat protected herself from all of the missiles by making her Jungle Bo into a fan. As she did so, the missiles were slowed down and eventually sent back to Aradon, cracking a little bit of his armor.
Master Phant then arrived and said to Sweetie Belle, “You have given me a reason to help you. Take the Elephant Spirit, and along with it, a new weapon!” With those words, the Elephant Spirit appeared and went inside Sweetie Belle, while the Cheetah Spirit gladly welcomed the Elephant Spirit.
Sweetie Belle’s Jungle Bo disappeared, and she received the Jungle Mace, a ball like hammer attached to a long chain with a handle at the end of the chain in it place.
"Thanks, Master Phant." She said before holding it up.
"I call on the Spirit of the Elephant!" Sweetie Belle shouted as the Spirit of the Elephant appear, now younger then before.
She started using it with the help of the Elephant Spirit, and they were able to break Aradon’s armor.
"What?! How?!" He shouted.
"Jungle Mace!" Sweetie shouted, dealt the finishing blow by twirling around really fast, so she was a spinning whirlwind with a hammer, making Aradon explode.
Scootaloo and Apple Bloom ran over to Sweetie Belle, congratulating her on her new weapon and animal spirit. However, Camion appeared and brought Aradon back in a giant state. He began to try and stomp on the rangers before they brought out the Jungle Pride Megazord. The rangers kept attacking Aradon, but he just kept shrugging it off.
"Darn! He even stronger then before. Our Animal spirits can't keep this up." Scootaloo said as they kept attacking him.
Master Phant then appeared inside the Jungle Pride Megazord and said, “Sweetie Belle! Along with mastering your new weapon is a new megazord! Combine the elephant spirit to the megazord for the Elephant Pride Megazord!”
"Right, Come all Girls, follow me." Sweetie said.
"Calling on the Spirit of the Elephant!" They shouted and the Megazord mimic them
The elephant spirit appear and combine with the Megazord, most of the elephant went to the shoulders of the megazord, with a small part going on the head and the trunk going on the right arm to be the jungle mace.
Camion was greatly surprise. He knew only one Master that has that Animal. This was not good.
Sweetie Belle and the others worked together with the Jungle Mace Getting hit in on him.
"Time to throw this fish back into the water, Sweetie Belle, show us what to do." Scootaloo said.
"Gladly!" She said.
"Spin Attack! Jungle Mace!" They shouted following Sweetie.
Aradon was too shock to see the same spin attack the was use on him before to dodge. It destroy him once and for all. The Rangers cheers as they have the Megazord relax.
"Pony Rangers, Jungle Fury." They said as the ponies cheer.
Back at Rarity/Sweetie Belle’s house, Sweetie Belle walked into her room to find Master Phant waiting for her there, and he simply said, “You have done well, but be prepared for anything to happen.”
He then vanished, and Sweetie Belle suddenly morphed. However, the suit was slightly different, with hints of green in some areas. She looked over it and was happy with it, then de-morphed, relaxing after the tough battle she had won.
In Joi-Shi’s palace, the stallion of the house was very upset. “He should have won! If it wasn't for that stupid elephant spirit, the world would be mine!”
Camion just stayed invisible, hoping his master wouldn't notice him and use all his anger on him.
