Chapter 1: Part 1

March 1st. I moved into Ponyville that day. I was happy about the change in my life. I love change sometimes. The sun was bright in Ponyville, brighter here than where I came from. Everything about Ponyville screamed happiness & peace. The colors, the buildings, the ponies, and the sky. All kinds of ponies were galloping around from store to store. Earth ponies, Pegasus ponies, & Unicorns.

I made my way to my new station and home. My living space was on top of the fire department, like they usually are. I passed a few ponies & said hello. One of them offered to help me but I could not accept, simply because of my pride. Anyway, I made it to the newly built structure. It wasn't as tall as I expected. Maybe. . . Two & a half stories tall. The first floor had a garage on the left for my soon-to-arrive fire truck. The second floor had what I suspected to be my bedroom window just above the door, & at the top, a standard yellow bell, gleaming in the sun & right into my eyes. The building itself was built from red bricks & lined with white.

From my backpack I took my key and inserted it into the lock & turned it. I opened the door and walked inside, my hooves clip-clopping against the hard floor. I turned on the light and examined the empty room. I guessed it was my office and that I was going to have to pay for my own furnishing. I headed up a spiral stair case that lead me to my bedroom. It was small & empty with a gray rugged floor & plain white walls. I contemplated about how I would set up Bullet For My Valentine posters.

I made my way back downstairs in order to plan out what my office would look like when I was done furnishing. I then wondered, who would my dispatcher be? It didn't really matter to me at the moment.

“Hey!” yelled a light blue pony with rainbow mane. I shuddered in surprise & flinched. She popped out of nowhere! “I'm Rainbow Dash. I see you're new here to Ponyville.”

I noticed a light gray pony with blonde mane next to her, but I turned my attention back to Rainbow Dash. “Yeah, I'm new. I just moved here from Manehatten. I'm Blaze Fury.” I inquired.

Rainbow Dash nodded. “Nice to meet ya. This here is Derpy.”

Derpy nodded & bumped into Rainbow Dash, which I thought annoyed her a bit. ”Hi.” Derpy said.

My eyebrow raised and I guessed that she was the klutz in town. “I'm the new fire fighter in town. Hey, would you know anyone who could be my dispatcher?”

Derpy was completely oblivious to what we were talking about. Rainbow Dash thought for a moment. “Nope, don't know anyone. It sounds like a boring job anyway.”

I kinda agreed, I'd hate to sit there all day & take calls. “Well it still needs to be done.” I assured her.

“I hear ya. Well, me & Derpy gotta go. Talk to you later” Rainbow Dash turned & pushed Derpy along. I waved my hoof at them as they went.

Chapter 1: Part 2.

March 2nd. I started my search for office furnishing that day. I was walking through Ponyville, eye balling each store until I found the one I needed. I noticed two fillies talking amongst each other. One with pink & purple mane; the other white & light blue mane. I was tempted to talk to them but I was already on a mission to find the furniture store.

Finally I found what I had been looking for. I walked into the furniture store and looked around for the office section when suddenly; something, or somepony, caught my eye. It was Derpy. I decided to find out what she was doing here, certainly the Pegasus pony didn't need furniture since they live in clouds.

She noticed me, But not in a way that seemed to be surprised, more like. . . expecting. I'm guessing I made her nervous when I approached her because she knocked over a display when I got close. I picked it up for her & I apologized to the manager myself. We talked a few minutes, had a few more display mishaps, and reached the conclusion of our conversation.

I bought some furniture for the office and my room that would be delivered to the station in an hour when they would have everything on their truck. I was actually excited to be honest. I speed galloped all the way home, anxiously waiting to plan out how to set up my new home.

I arrived back and turned on the light. There was a note in the middle of the room. How odd I thought. It was a note from Derpy. Big party planned for you by Pinkie Pie tomorrow - Derpy Hooves. it said. I didn't know who Pinkie Pie was but o well.

The furniture arrived and I put them all into place. I was happy. I had a new job, a new home, & a new life.

Chapter 1: Part 3

March 4th. I had one more day of freedom to do whatever I wanted, since the station opened tomorrow. I didn't really want to go to the party, but I did anyway because I didn't want to be rude. At the party I met Rarity, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Spike, & Twilight. I Talked to Rainbow Dash & Derpy again at the party too. It was fun for the most part, but I was bushed by the time it was over. Derpy offered to walk me home, I didn't need the help but I wanted to be nice.

Derpy & I walked all the way to the station. We didn't say much, most of the time she bumped into me on accident & apologized. When we got there, she said goodbye & offered me a hug, I took it, to be nice.

Finally it was bed time, I had a big day tomorrow and so did the station. I lay comfortably in my new bed and took in the scent of new fabric. I slipped into deep sleep, the best sleep of my life, or; it should have been.

The alarm sounded & I shot up from my bed and eyed the gleaming red light that so rudely interrupted my sleep. How did the alarm go off?? I haven't even turned it on, I was gonna do that tomorrow. I got up out of bed and put on my rig. A helmet, an oxygen tank, & a sledgehammer come in very helpful in situations. I decided to investigate the alarm when I got back.

I had been informed of the fire in town and I, having no truck yet, had to walk all the way there, lugging with me a hose. When I arrived I put my helmet on & checked my equipment. “Everypony clear the area!” an officer yelled at the bystanders as I approached the building. I asked him if there were any fire hydrants near by but there wasn't, which to me, sounded like an idiotic mistake from whoever built this street.

I bit my lip and examined the area. I noticed that there wasn't anything near by that would catch fire if the building had burned down. I decided that It would be best if the building would just be left alone. This wasn't a bad idea in my opinion, but the ponies inside the gosh darn building wouldn't have agreed. I was pretty sure there were ponies in the building, the screams of agony & terror really helped me reach that conclusion.

I braved the fire and smoke and ran into the burning building, I made my way to the second floor where I suspected the victims to be. I was right. The heat was intense and rising. The building made cracking noises & creaking noises as the fire engulfed the walls. I made careful steps in fear that the floor would fall out.

BOOM! A loud explosion came from behind me and blew a giant hole in the floor. I urgently stepped forward, trying to stay away from the edge of the damn thing. The whole building was going to collapse right on my head if I didn't move fast. I moved toward a door that look liked it lead to a bedroom. I stepped inside just as a beam fell from the rafters & blocked the way out. GOD DAMNIT.

The whole room was full of black smoke. It was hard to see anything. If it weren't for my goggles and oxygen tank, I might as well been dead on the floor. I called out to whoever may be inside. No response. I leaned down to the floor where I could see better. I noticed blood. Odd. I followed the blood trail and it stopped. In front of a wall. No doors, No windows, Just a wall. I examined it carefully when I heard a giggle. I whipped my head around thinking I would see them, but there was too much smoke.

“Hello!?” I called out. No response. I turned back to the wall & felt a cold shiver go down my spine when something had stroked it. Cold sweat flashed through me when I felt this. I turned around again. Nothing. I was getting tired of it. I took my sledgehammer off my back & had two choices. Create a hole in the wall where I came in & possibly weaken the house even more, or smash a hole into the wall where it would lead outside, hopefully make an escape. I picked my second option. I walked up to the wall I thought would lead outside. I brought the sledgehammer up & swung it down against the wall.

The wall crumbled into the floor in front of me. I knew I was on the second floor so I carefully stepped into the newly created hole. It didn't go anywhere but into a new room. The smoke from the other room filled this one. I noticed that the walls were made of metal. Which was weird and eerie.

“Hehehe.” There was that giggle again. I was frustrated.

“This isn't a game! I'm trying to save your life!” I yelled and threw my hammer to the floor. BAM-clink clink clink. At this point I was scared. I felt something brush my arm and in response I swung it, but I hit nothing. Then suddenly; something had taken my helmet, it was gone, just gone. I stomped my hooves on the floor and tried to scare off whatever force may be inside the building. I was utterly scared. I noticed something else to, my hammer was missing, which sent me over the top. “Okay, Whoever is in here, just give me back my stuff and I can get us out of here. We need to get out of here. Before the damn building collapses!” I spun in circles looking for whoever is behind all this. CRACK. The noise came from the back of my skull. Pain surged through my head. Everything went black.

Chapter 2: part 1.

I woke up in immense pain. my head was throbbing. A warm liquid was oozing from the back of my head, working its way down my back. I woke up, leaning against a wall in a dimly lit room. I rubbed my eyes & examined my current location. My eyes shot back & fourth. My mind raced & my heart paced.

I stood up on my hind legs & started banging against the wall. My efforts were futile. I turned around & pinned myself against the wall, taking heavy breathes. I slowly slid down against the wall onto my flank & scooted into a corner. There I sat, in a small dark room, made of metal, similar to the one I had fainted in. That room. . .

I tried to remember what happened last night but it came up a blank. I looked around the small room & noticed a metal door & there was only one window. It was dusty and dirty, which gave the room a dull light. It didn't lead anywhere. I had no idea where the light was coming from.

A faint smell started to penetrate my nostrils. I looked across the room. Feces from what I could have guessed could have been from the last prisoner. At first the smell wasn't that noticeable, but as time went by, it got stronger considering there was no ventilation. I became woozy and begun vomiting.

I spent hours in that cell. No noises came. No other ponies. Just me, the feces, the barf, & the darkness. In time I began pleading to myself that this was just a weird dream & I would wake up, like individuals usually do. The cell became colder & colder. Soon I started to shiver.

I hated it here. I hated that cell. I didn't even know why I was there or what I did, but It was happening. Fear had been rising up in my body. I tried to stay in the corner away from the door just in case something came through.

Then it happened. A creaking noise was heard. I looked up, the door slammed open, banged into the metal wall behind it, and latched onto the side. A pony in all black came in. I couldn't see there face or body because the robes they had on concealed everything about them with the help of the dull lighting.. Their hooves clopped against the metal floor. I stared at The Stranger. A wicked smile formed on their face & I could see it. I sat motionless. They reached their hoof out & I cringed. I closed my eyes & prayed to wake up.

The pain in the back of my head intensified when The Stranger had started to drag me across the with my mane. I groaned in pain & tried to get loose but it was hopeless. There I was, being dragged to who-knows-where at the mercy of The Stranger. I was pulled into another room, just as dark as my cell, and was told to stand by the wall. The Stranger turned away for a moment & I inched myself towards what seemed to be an exit.

But no, The Stranger turned around and held a small knife to my chest, pressing the point into my hide, causing minor bleeding. “Stand against the wall & don't move. Or else this blade finds a new home inside your chest.”

I stepped back against the wall in fear of having a knife stabbed into my chest. I realized I recognized the voice, but because I was new to Ponyville, I couldn't match the voice to a pony. The Stranger turned their back once again and started to fiddle around with something. Whatever it was, it made metal clanking noises, lots of them.

The Stranger turned around with chains in their mouth. I cringed back into the wall & found myself being chained to it. The Stranger began with my front legs, cuffing them securely. Once done, the chains were raised & I was now suspended in mid air against the cold wall.

Then The Stranger chained my legs down to the floor. I Tried struggling but found that the chains would tighten the more I struggled. Moving was not an option anymore and quickly my hooves begun to hurt.

Chapter 2: Part 2.

There, in that dark room, I existed as a pony against the wall. The Stranger had left awhile ago and I was sure they would return. There was a bulb of some sort that aimed directly at me and flashed every so often to keep my eyes unadjusted to the dark. Whatever was in there, I was not allowed to see. Not yet.

I had no sense of time. There were no signs of day or night. Soon enough The Stranger came back. I watched them carefully, barely making out the outline of the body because of my unadjusted eyes. The Stranger approached & I stiffened to whatever may come my way. They reached up to my mouth and I felt cool water rushing into my mouth and down my throat. Ever since I arrived I had been preoccupied with my sense of fear that I hadn't realized how thirsty and hungry I was. After the water was gone, I was fed. It was a hay sandwich. I enjoyed it as slowly as I could but The Stranger urged me to finish it faster, so I did.

I was done being fed. The Stranger went into another room through a door I hadn't noticed 'till then. I heard moaning, groaning, & dragging noises. Like the ones I made when I was being taken into the room. I heard shuffling of hooves and struggles. I heard chains being attached to the wall, in the same way I was. The Stranger then fed the newcomer in the same fashion I was. Except the newcomer resisted and fought back at first. “Drink. . .” The Stranger told them.

The newcomer was chained and fed. The Stranger then deactivated the flashing light. My eyes adjusted just enough to where I could see The Stranger's body and the newcomer's outline. The Stranger flicked a switch and the room quickly filled with dim light; enough light to see features of the room. I looked over at the newcomer. It was the same pony I saw the day before, except her friend isn't with her. I later learned that her name was Bon Bon.

Chapter Chapter 2: Part 3

Bon Bon had been crying, I could tell. A clothe was placed over her mouth, which prevented her from talking or screaming. I stared at her in disbelief. She didn't look back. She was too focused on The Stranger to look at me.

“Bon Bon, Blaze Thank you for cooperating with me so far.” There was that familiar voice again. How do they know my name? I wondered. The familiar thought gnawed at the back of my head. I badly wanted to match the voice with a pony but I couldn't.

The Stranger turned & switched on a projector, which casts an image onto the wall across from me, except; it wasn't an image, but a live feed. “Now, Let's observe Lyra.”

I didn't know who that was at the time, but when she pressed a button, the camera changed and came into view. I realized it was Bon Bon's friend, the one I saw talking to Bon Bon the other day.

Lyra was terrified and her face showed it very well. The camera zoomed out to reveal that she had been strapped down to the ground in the middle of a desert, above what looked like a small hole in the ground. Her body was sunburned all over & her back scratched up bad from being dragged. She was covered in honey as well. My eyes opened wide & my heart shuddered when I discovered that her eye lids had been cut out. They were completely gone. She had been strapped to the desert floor, being forced to stare at the sun, waiting for whatever fate she had coming.

“We tuned in just on time.” The Stranger said. A cold sweat washed over me when a swarm of red dots begun to emerge from the hole. Red Ants I realized. The ants began to crawl onto Lyra's body, first attacking the sticky globs of honey that had been wiped onto her body. My God. I was horrified. The ants, being stuck to Lyra, began to bite at her. She squirmed & struggled but could do nothing to stop them. The ants began to cover her whole body & her eyes opened wide at the pain & the fact she was covered in red ants with no way out. Soon enough the ants dug into her hide. Blood squirted from every ant-created hole in her body. Pieces of flesh were carried away by the ants into their home, only to come back for more.

Ants began making their way to her face, biting and picking at her cheeks. They crawled their way into her nose, ears, & even her mouth. Not to mention the fact that her eyes were unprotected by the lack of eye lids. Ants begun picking away at her face, & just like her body, holes of squirting blood formed. It was a horrible sight. To watch a pony being eaten alive while being forced to watch it all under the blistering sun.

Bon Bon started sobbing & looked away from the projection. I closed my eyes shut, trying to imagine that this was all a nightmare & that it would be over very soon. I couldn't stand anymore of what I've seen.

Bon Bon started mumbling through her rag. I opened my eyes to see. She was enraged. She was struggling and squirming within her imprisonment. The chains smacked against her body & the wall. CLINK CLANG. The Stranger just stood there, amused. I'm guessing she had forgotten the chains would get tighter because after a minute of struggle, she began screaming from the pain of her now, probably, tight chains.

I felt sorry for her, for her to be forced to watch her closest friend being eaten alive, and now this. I felt rage boiling inside my body, but I knew if I had started to cause problems, I might be punished in some way. My best bet was to wait until I had an opportunity.

Chapter 3: Part 1.

It was Bon Bon's turn. “Now now. Don't worry. It will be over soon. I promise that you won't have to see anymore.” The Stranger said as she approached Bon Bon with what I think had to be a needle & thread. Bon Bon's faced turned from angry and sad to confused and scared.

Muffled screams began to arise from Bon Bon's mouth. The Stranger had stuck the needle & thread into her eye lid. The Stranger was now sewing Bon Bon's eyes shut. I looked away, I couldn't stand to watch. More muffled screams came.

When The Stranger was done, Bon Bon started crying once more. How she had more tears, I had no idea. I hesitantly looked at her and found tears mixed with blood leaking through the small opening of her stitches. Moans of anguish seeped from out of the clothe. She stopped moving altogether with her head hung low.

I feared what would be of Bon Bon's fate considering I had to witness it first hoof. Lucky for us, The Stranger left the room once again. I looked at Bon Bon & tried talking to her. My voice cracked when I spoke.

“Hey.” She turned her head in my direction even though she couldn't see me. “I'm sorry about Lyra.” She nodded and sniffled. “If it makes you feel better, I'll try my best to find a way out of this. I'm really scared too. . .” She didn't respond, instead; she hung her head again, signifying she had given up.

Chapter 3: Part 2.

I woke up sometime later. The Stranger must have come back during my sleep because it was dark. The flashing lights returned to keep my blind. I could barely make her out, but I knew Bon Bon was still hung on the adjacent wall. The door creaked open and Bon Bon & I turned our attention to the returning of The Stranger.

The Stranger had a large object. I couldn't tell what it was, I could only see the outline of it. Once again the flashing lights were deactivated and my eyes adjusted & the lights were turned on. The object was hidden from us so I still didn't know what it was.

The Stranger came up to me & wrapped a clothe around my mouth. “Just so you don't ruin my surprise for Bon Bon.” The Stranger Whispered. Where have I heard that voice!? I pondered again. & Wait. . . What surprise? I didn't want to find out honestly. Bon Bon was alert but didn't hear what was whispered to me.

The Stranger pulled on some kind of lever. Bon Bon had been pulled forward into the middle of the room. Sounds of metal screeched and clang. I looked up & noticed that her chains were connected to a pulley on the ceiling. She was now suspended in mid air with her arms & legs stretched out. I was hoping that she wasn't going to be pulled apart.

The Stranger pulled out the large object from an opening in the wall I hadn't noticed 'till then. It was a chainsaw. I bit my lip in horror. I knew Bon Bon was going to be dismantled somehow. I looked below Bon Bon & saw a drain. My suspicions had been confirmed.

Bon Bon couldn't tell what was going on. I think the only thing she knew was that she wasn't up against the wall anymore.

”I have a surprise for you Bon Bon.” Bon Bon's head snapped up, her ears pressed back against her head. The Stranger giggled in excitement. “I couldn't resist going with dull blades.” This shocked me. My eyes widened. Bon Bon wouldn't be cut, She'd be shredded. Bon Bon shook in fear. She had no idea what was meant by dull blades. I wish I could tell her, but this stupid clothe prevented me from doing so.

The Stranger pulled on the chainsaw several times until it started. The awful engine noise exploded into the room & into my ears. It was loud, extremely loud, especially in such a small room. The Stranger snickered then giggled and held the chainsaw up. My heart sank when the chainsaw was raised in between Bon Bon's legs. I realized that The Stranger was going to attempt to cut Bon Bon in half from the bottom up. A tear formed and ran down my cheek as The Stranger slowly brought the chainsaw up. Bon Bon's head snapped left to right. She was scared out of her mind.

“Wait.” Said The Stranger as Bon Bon's clothe was taken away from her mouth. The Stranger continued with the murder-in-progress and slowly raised the chainsaw to Bon Bon's crotch. I shut my eyes tight when the chainsaw touched hide. Screams of agony and excruciating pain forced its way into my ears, blocking out the engine revs of the chainsaw.

I looked at the scene. Chunks of red & light yellow flesh flew everywhere. Hide was shredded & ripped from Bon Bon's flank. Blood splattered everywhere, even on me. my hide was stained with her blood. Bon Bon's Legs & hooves flailed. More flesh here & there. Blood everywhere. The Stranger giggled nonstop. Pieces of liver, kidney, & intestines started to detach and find a comfortable place to settle in the room. I couldn't believe my eyes, I actually started crying to what I was witnessing. Poor Bon Bon.

The Stranger stopped when the chainsaw reached her mid-stomach. Blood oozed slowly from the opening of her body and onto the floor, flowing gracefully into the drain. DRIP, DRIP, DRIP, DRIP came the blood. PLOP, PLOP, PLOP, PLOP came pieces of organs. The Stranger pulled the chainsaw out from Bon Bon. Dark blood stains covered the chainsaw. Gooey organ parts were stuck within its teeth, dripping and creeping down the sides. The smell of it was horrible. Gas from the chainsaw, blood, flesh, & organs. Blood. . . Flesh. . . Organs. . .

The Stranger dropped the chainsaw, making a huge bang against the floor. Blood formed a small pool with small chunks of guts floating around the piece of machinery.

“Blaze. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Ponyville. I'll have a special way to deal with you tomorrow. So you rest up.” The Stranger unchained me & I fell to the ground. I struggled to get up, I was so weak. I stood up straight, stumbled, & glared at The Stranger with hate in my eyes.

The Stranger lead me back to my cell. My mind was racing with ways I could escape, but I had to wait for the moment to make my move. The Stranger opened the cell door & motioned me in. I couldn't take it anymore. I didn't want to be there. I hated it there. I GOD DAMN HATED IT. I took my chance. I turned, I ran, and I fled. No sounds of following hooves. I did my best to avoid looking at Bon Bon.

There was nowhere to go. The door that lead out from the room was locked. Bolt locked to be exact. It was hopeless. There was no way I was going to get out, but then; My sledgehammer I remembered. I needed to find it. Frantically I searched the room. I recalled the opening in the wall where The Stranger had hidden the chainsaw. I searched there. Nothing. This was becoming frustrating. I became desperate. I actually wondered if using the chainsaw would have done anything. A chainsaw can't cut through solid metal, what a stupid thought.

Clip, clop, Clip, Clop, CLIP, CLOP. CLIP, CLOP. The sounds of hooves appeared and increased. Drip, Drip, Drip, Drip. The sounds of hooves and dripping blood were perfectly in sync. I turned my head.

Chapter 3: Part 3.

There the pony stood, with my sledgehammer, crushing all my hopes without even lifting a damn hoof. My body froze, the sledgehammer rose. BAM, CRACK. The hammer fell. I screamed and fell over in agony. Blood shot out from the gaping hole in my leg. I looked at my pain ridden leg, holding back tears & screams. There, sticking out from my leg, was my femur. Looking up, I saw what would be my fate. The hammer rose again, crashing down on my skull. Boom-Crack. . . Lights out once again.

Blurred vision was the first thing I experience when I came into consciousness. I was hung up, in the same room, in the same chains. “Now Blaze, Don't do that again. I don't want to hurt you again. I'm sorry I did, but I had to in order to stop you from trying to escape. Just let me finish with you and it will all be-”

“I don't care” I interrupted. “Just kill me, Just kill me & get it over with!” I hung my head.

“Now that's the spirit!” The Stranger giggled. I was sick of it. I'd only been here for a few days & I was ready to quit and die. I was just plain sick of this shit. My whole body throbbed.

“The whole thing was just an act” More giggles. “They all labeled me, made fun of me, called me names. Instead of fighting it, I took the chance to make them correct. I made up a fake name & personality just to get my revenge.” The Stranger explained.

“What are you talking about? What did I do to you?” I raised my head, determination to know on my face.

“Oh nothing. I have nothing against you Blaze. You're just the test for my new plans of torture. Who would miss somepony who was here for a few days?” The Stranger giggled and bumped into me by accident. “Gosh darn it. Sorry. Sometimes when you take on the role of something for so long, it becomes a part of you.”

Something about that seemed so familiar. Then I remembered. Rainbow Dash & That one pony. “Are you friends with Rainbow Dash??” I asked.

“Well, If you want to call us friends, then yes. Remember, when we visited your fire station?” The Stranger removed the hood & revealed them self. It was a female, & I knew exactly who it was.

“Derpy. . .?” I was confused.

“Mmmm'Yup.” she confirmed.

“But. . . How. . .?” Now I was beyond confused.

“Never judge a book by its cover, Blaze. No one should do that.” She winked at me. I hated that. “I was labeled as the clumsy klutz of Ponyville. I moved here in order to get away from the ridicule I got in Cloudsdale. But it continued, & I had enough.” she explained.

I must have dozed off because she started slapping my face a few times.

“How Rude.” She said. I snapped back into attention. She giggled. “Oh, I know what would be really fun.” She turned around & grabbed what appeared to be a shotgun. I started fidgeting. I did not want to be shot with that thing. “I'm gonna let you go okay? I'll give you 5 minutes, considering your leg is broken. After 5 minutes, I'll come & Find you” She jumped up & down in excitement and squee'd.

She loosened the chains on my body & slowly set me down. I groaned when my broken leg touched the ground. My leg had been wrapped to stop the bleeding. I did my best to stay off of it. “Fine. Just fine. Okay? You can have your little game and then kill me. Then finally it will be over.” She unlocked the door & went back to polishing her shotgun, smiling menacingly as she did.

I limped into the hallway. I looked for a possible way to go. Every hallway ended in darkness. Candles were lit here & there but they didn't really help. Derpy knew everything about this place and I knew nothing. I was destined to lose. She could block the exit if she wanted to. I hoped she didn't. I could have found a place to hide, too bad there weren't any places to do so. Whoever built this place made sure of that.

Chapter 4: Part 1

Time flew by. Five minutes turned into four, four turned into three, three turned into two, & two turned into one. I was nowhere close to finding an exit that I so desperately needed to find. Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock. I could imagine a clock, mocking me every second, reminding me of how little time I had left., then; It was up.

Clip, Clop, Clip, Clop, Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock, Clip, Clop, Clip, Clop. Soon enough, I was found. I cringed back into the path I took to my current location. Everything took shape. The barrel of the shotgun, the smile on her face, & then the outline of her body. Click. She cocked the shotgun. My heart raced, I was now staring down the barrel of a Model 1887. “Oh Blaze, If only you could see the look on your face. Tell you what, I'll tell you where the exit is. Not that it matters, you're gonna die here anyway,” She giggled & continued. “Behind me leads the path to the exit. Take a left, then a right, then go straight a few corridors & take one more right.”

Half of me wanted it to end there, the other half wanted nothing more but to get out. Something inside me triggered. A burning fire inside my body took form. BOOM! The shotgun went off. I Cringed for a moment.

The booming sound of metal-on-metal echoed in the hall way. I found myself on top of Derpy, pinning her down on the cold floor. She struggled & squirmed, but my upper body strength outmatched hers.

I would have kept her pinned, if it weren't for the cracking noise I heard. Then came the explosion of pain from my broken leg. She had been kicking at it the entire time & got a cheap shot to my leg. I rolled off her onto my back & held my hind leg. “God Dammit!” It hurt more then when she broke it the first time!

I started breathing heavily. Tears ran down my cheeks. It took all my will power not to scream my damn head off. Derpy got up & dusted herself off. She walked towards the abandoned Model 1887. I couldn't let her get to it.

I rolled over onto my stomach & let out a short scream I put pressure onto my leg. I searched for the shotgun & could only make out what I thought was it. I started crawling very slowly with my forearms. I used every bit of my strength.

“Shouldn't have done that, Blaze.” She was now standing over me with the shotgun in her hooves. I looked at where I thought it was, but it turned out to be nothing. Nothing but tricks on my damn eyes. She Reloaded then Click went the shotgun. BANG!

Chapter 4: Part 2.

Pain exploded in my leg. But not my broken leg. So, there I was, on the cold concrete floor of this horrid maze. One leg broken, & the other now gave home to a shell. For the moment, my whole world was dark. Me and nothing else.

“Heh. That will teach you. Next time don't fight back & I won't miss your head.” she whispered. It was a lie. She purposely aimed for my leg. No pony in the world had horrible accuracy like that, not to mention I was on the floor with my body sprawled out.

“It can't end like this. . .” I whispered.

“But it will.” She confirmed.

Her hind legs appeared right in front of me. I looked up. Once again, staring down the barrel of my destiny; my destiny to die. She reloaded again. Click. That sound made my body tense, every click brought new pain. Adrenaline filled my body. My heart pulsated so hard I could feel it press into my chest.

I reached my forearms out & latched onto her hooves, pulling them with all my strength. A gasp escaped her mouth as she fell onto her back. She didn't let go of the shotgun, I hoped she would have. I crawled on top of Derpy & grabbed the shotgun. She pulled & pushed. I had the advantage at the moment.

I screamed & bit my lip. She began kicking at both my hind legs. I couldn't let her win. I focused only on the shotgun & did my best to ignore the cracking noises & pain that rose from behind me. Derpy made groaning noises, indicating that she was frustrated with her attempts to regain her dominance over me.

Push came to shove & I was now on my back, the shotgun being pulled away from me. Derpy was now on the offense. She used her forearms & hind legs to pull the wretched death-gun from me. I pulled from side to side, attempting to pull it from her grasp. I had gotten nowhere.

Two desperate ponies, wrestling to the death over what would be the only way to survive this. Shuffling, grunts, and clanking metal were the only sounds that filled the hollow hallways. My adrenaline was wearing off. I became dizzy and in time, weak. I Still had a good grip on the gun but I was losing my ability to keep it close to me.

My whole life passed through my eyes. The images of what I had seen in this place filled my head. It played back in my head like a broken record. Then I remembered something. When I first arrived to the torture room, she had pulled a knife on me. It never occurred to me where she had gotten it until now.

I took my eyes off the face of the winning Derpy & looked at her flank. There it was, the knife, settled in its chassis, which was strapped to her flank on the right. I positioned my left hoof on the middle of the shotgun. Now I started to push, trying to get a better view of her flank. I reached out with all my might.

“Not gonna work, Blaze” Derpy said teasingly with heavy panting. She backed up just enough so that her knife was out of my reach. I repositioned my right hoof on the shotgun & started pulling once again. More shuffling and grunts. I was going to lose if I didn't do anything soon.

I became dizzy from the loss of blood from my shotgun-shot leg. I had only one chance to do what I had to do.

Chapter 4: part 3.

This was it, the final move that would determine if I would live or die. Once again I put my left hoof into the middle of the shotgun & reached my right hoof out to her flank.

“I told you, It won't work Blaze. We both know you're going to lose this & I will have your life.” she whispered.

“The hell you will!” I yelled & pulled with all the strength I had in my left arm. She stumbled forward & I reached out. I reached & reached until finally, I had the knife. I pulled it out of it's holding place.

“What??” Derpy stumbled back out of my reach again. She looked back & saw the knife within my hoof. She looked back at me & made an angry frown. “No, NO, NO!” She became frantic, jerking at the shotgun.

I did what I had to do. I released the shotgun from my left hoof & swung with my right.

Chapter 13.

Shhnk. clink, clang. Drip. . . Drip. . . She screamed in horror as I dropped the knife. Plop, Plop, Plop. Blood seeped from her stomach gash & dripped onto my body. CLANK. The shotgun fell to the ground. Both her hooves were on her stomach, her head looked down, her eyes wide in horror & shock. “You . . . I'm going to kill you!” she screamed at me.

She stumbled back & prepared to jump me. Well, body slam me as I could tell. My reflexes shot into action as she made her move, I grabbed the shotgun that was located to my side. I raised it into the air, I had one shot.

The whole scene went into slow motion. In front of me, an angry Derpy, flying through the air just to slam down onto me. Everything came down to this. My life was on the line. My life flashed through my eyes once again. I closed my eyes and cringed. BOOM!

Chapter 4: Part 4.

Her body flew back, crashing to the ground. Her chest stopped rising & settled. A lifeless body was the only thing left of her. It was over.

I lay on my back and took a few deep breathes. I realized that if I had wasted any more time, I would have died of blood loss in my leg. I sat up & looked around. I couldn't crawl though this place, it would have taken too long.

I used my creative side this time. I picked up the shotgun, raised myself with it, & used it as a crutch, supporting myself upon my shotgun-blasted leg. I certainly wouldn't stand on my broken leg. It would have hurt like hell.

I limped up to Derpy's body. I reached down to retrieve her keys & stared at the gaping hole in her chest just above where I had sliced her with the knife. I shook my head & continued on. “Behind me leads the path to the exit. Take a left, then a right, then go straight a few corridors & take one more right.” I remembered her saying. I took my time. I stumbled a couple of times.

I found my way out of that place. The exit happened to be a flight of stairs that led to a door. I unlocked the door with the key I had gotten from the dead Derpy.

I opened the door & found myself to be in the middle of the Everfree forest. A fitting forest to a fitting place. I limped a few more steps & collapsed. “What do we have here? Oh my, are you okay my dear?” That was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.

Chapter 4: Part 5.

Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep. I woke up to the sound of a heart monitor the next day. I was in the hospital. I was greeted by a doctor by the name of Doctor Whooves. I was told that I was found in the Everfree forest & rescued by a zebra named Zecora. I was also informed me that she had other business to attend to & would check on me later.

Both my legs were raised in the air. Both of them in casts. I was issued a wheel chair & was told I couldn't walk for the next few weeks. My days as a fire fighter were put off until I healed. I was also told that, because of me, the others in the facility were rescued. If I had not escaped, Zecora wouldn't have found me, & the others wouldn't have been found in time.

I was empty & hollow on the inside. I was drained emotionally & physically, but deep down I felt joy that my nightmare was over. I had won my right to live.

Chapter 4: Epilogue.

I survived. That's all that matters. And I helped others, which is normal, I'm a fire fighter after all. But this, this tops all the situations I've been in. It was horrible. I have so many physical & mental scars. I begged for my life, & at other times; I begged for it to end. To think that somepony so innocent could have caused so much grief & misery. When I moved to this small village of ponies, I thought nothing of them. My only mission was to stay fit & ready for any emergency situation. Ha, too bad the worst situation of my life is the only one I wasn't prepared for.

I only have one sibling, Corba Force, who was lucky enough to be a guard for the princess, in turn meaning he never had to witness what I saw. He was lucky alright, however; it would have been great if he could have helped stop the madness. My only regret about all this; I couldn't save Lyra Heartstrings nor Bon Bon, though; I did receive awards for my “bravery” that day from Princess Celestia, but I did not accept them. I only did what I was trained to do. Even to this day, when I hear the name Bon Bon or Lyra, my heart sinks and all the images come rushing back into my brain. How I wish I could erase my memory or somehow cause myself to suffer from amnesia.

All I can say is, Dear Princess Celestia, I have learned that surviving is magic. Oh, & screw Derpy.
