"Princess,you have visitors," a white guard said firmly as he walked in the throne room.
"How many visitors?" a alicorn said,but didn't look up from her work.
"Three," the guard said as three familiar fillies walked in the room,or more or less,ran.
"HELLO PRINCESS!!!" the three fillies yelled in perfect harmony.
"Luna,would you come here a second?" Princess Celestia called down the hall,hoping Luna would wake from her nap.
"S-Sure thing." a groggy voice called from the hall,as a midnight blue alicorn emerged.
"Now,what do you little fillies need?" Princess Celestia turned back to the three fillies looking at her with confusion.
"Our cutie marks." one filly said in a sweet voice that made her pink and purple curls bounce everywhere.
"What did you say?" Both Celestia and Luna looked at them with confusion.
"She said y'all would like our cutie marks please," one other filly said
"I didn't say that,"
"Yes you did." the deep orange filly pegasus spoke up.
"I meant to say" -she sighed before saying-, "can you please tell us how you got your cutie marks?
"Luna? Should we tell them?" She looked at her sister's face. It showed all the sign that she was baffled.
"We need to tell someone. It might be humor to them. Plus we have not spoken of it in one thousand,five hundred years." Luna sighed quietlyy and looked up at her sister. They both stared for a second then nodded together.
"Here goes," Luna quietly started as the three fillies sat down and smiled.
It all started when we were young. Each of us had no idea what our cutie marks would be. One day Luna held up a plastic toy moon. I levitated a plastic toy sun and put it behind her moon. I taught her that the moon moving in front of the sun is called a solar eclipse. That was just the beginning.
After Tia taught me about the solar eclipse, I started doing research. Not just about the eclipse,but also the moon. I had Tia decorate my room to look like the night. I also remember my dad raising the moon to start the night. I was engaged in finding out everything I could about the night and moon. One time,I visited Tia in her chambers. Her room was done to look like the day and it looked pretty. Not as pretty as mine but....
Ehemm....anyway,just liked Luna loved the moon,I loved the sun. One day I asked my mom if I could do the daily sun raising. Once she said yes,I went to my room and practiced my levitating magic. I could levitate anything,but heavy items. And I thought the sun was heavy. Once I was able to levitate ten cinder blocks,I tried to raise the sun. When I came down,Luna was cheering and clapping. My mother said congratulations and my dad was looking at the sky and my flank in admiration. All I did was look at my flank. And there in the place of the blank spot,was my cutie mark. A sun. A beautiful golden sun.
After Tia got her cutie mark,I decided I wanted one too. I went right up to mom and told her I wanted my cutie mark. All she said was that I needed to find it. Do I have to go outside of Equestria? Maybe. I asked dad if there was anything I could do to help with his work. He paused and said yes! He said to levitate ten cinder blocks and come to him when I was finished. When I was levitating six cinder blocks,Tia came in. She said that she did that when before she got her cutie mark. i told what dad asked me to do. Tia left after I explained. I went to dad after I could levitate ten cinder blocks. And I did it. I got my cutie mark. A splatter thing with a moon inside it. A moon. A white glittering moon.
"Wow," the three fillies said in unison with their eyes bulging out.
"Do you think we scared them,sister?" Luna looked at her sister,and she nodded. The fillies were ether loving the story or hating it. They could not tell what the fillies were thinking.
The orange pegasus was the first to snap out of their trance. She just looked around,stared at the other fillies,and then looked straight at Celestia and Luna. Then the orange pegasus screamed. Loud enough to wake Equestria. The other fillies were surprised then yelled at the pegasus.
" SCOOTS!! YOU WOKE UP EQUESTRIA!!!! WHY DID YOU SCREAM??" The unicorn filly yelled.
"Sorry,I didn't know what was happening," the filly put her head down.
"It's okay,Scoots?? Is that your name?" Celestia said calmly. She was always the one not to worry when things were wrong.
"My name is Scootaloo," she gestured to the white unicorn. "this is Sweetie Belle,and this is-"
"Apple Bloom. Pleasure to meet y'all," she bowed politely to the princesses.
"You too,Apple Bloom. Now you fillies better get home to Ponyville. It's a long way,and it's almost dinner time,"
"Oh gosh! She's right!" Sweetie Belle said before running to the door.
"CUTIE MARK CRUSADER GONE YAY!!!" the three yelled on their way out.
"Ah,I have a headache from those three. I'm going back to sleep. Goodnight sister,see you at the sunset," Luna said quietly as she got up from her throne.
"Oh Luna. Can you stay up just for me?" Celestia said as she made her sister's favorite funny face. The one that always made her laugh so hard,milk flew out of her muzzle.
"Oh fine. Just a couple minutes off my sleep schedule won't hurt," Luna said as she sat back down.
"Should we tell them?" Scootaloo said as the three filies were in a chariot on their way to Ponyville.
"Maybe,if we want them to spread it around Ponyville." Sweetie Belle paused,thinking for a second,before continuing, "Probably not,okay,we can tell a few ponies,but not Derpy. Or Diamond Tiara. Or Silver Spoon. Those three are chatterboxes. Derpy,especially,cause she's the mailmare and chats with the ponies before handing them the letters and packages."
"Well,I agree. Do you Apple Bloom?" When Scootaloo got no response,she turned to look at Apple Bloom. "Apple Bloom?What's on your mind?"
Apple Bloom finally snapped out of her trance when they arrived in Ponyville. The filly carefully stepped out of the chariot,said thank you to the guards who have been flying them,and trotted towards Sweet Apple Acres. When she got there,her family was waiting for her.
"Well,how was it? Did you get the story from the Princesses?" Applejack,her older sister almost yelled so everyone could hear it.
Apple Bloom smiled at her, "Actually,yes I did. It was...surprising."
"Let's hear it then," The Apple Family went into their house as Apple Bloom started to tell.
"Please don't re-tell the story,otherwise everyone will know," ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sweetie! How was it? Did they tell? I want to hear it!" Rarity squealed as Sweetie Belle walked in.
