> Apple Blossoms: A Blooming Prequel > by StarRibbon > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > A Bully's Grace > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Look what the cat dragged in. A blank flank and her scooter. Funny, I thought you ditched that long ago." I grit my teeth. Damn it, Celestia, why must I be forced to go to school? Why must I go to school with her of all ponies? Was it some sort of test for me in the future? 'Test Scootaloo's anger limit:Experiment A. Using your ability to force students inside, lock up one Scootaloo in a room with one Diamond Tiara. Watch-' Look, the point is drawn out-no more details are needed okay? Mrs.Marsh was the Equestrian History teacher that loved lectures. She was always detailed about it, even when others talked she didn't notice. Right now, she was doing one of her lectures. Something about a project. I gave up about halfway through the monotone. "Oh, its you again. Don't you have some ponies to annoy other then me?" I send her a glare. "What, you gotta problem with it now?" She's bucking smiling! "While I love seeing your presence, I have better things to do then to annoy you." Diamond inched closer before she stands two inches from my face. I blush a little-wait what? "Your my partner. Looks like this'll be fun..." She dragged out the last phrase before fiddling. My eyes widen. Did she just say--- "We are?! When?" I shrieked surprised. No, no, no and NOPE! Celestia help me- "Since now, don't look shocked idiot." I growl at her as she gave me a smirk. Why couldn't Apple Bloom and Sweetie be in my class too? "We sit together, aren't you paying attention? If your not, its not surprising." "I was hoping to switch." I mumble before getting a nudge from her. Mrs.Marsh still continued her lecture, seemingly not caring about us talking. She never really paid much attention anyway. Though, I should have listened. First project after all, but I refuse to allow her to be right. "Hey!' "Too bad, your stuck." She gave me a sick smile. I'm in Tarturus. I have to be. "I'm your partner, deal. I don't like it either." She turned away. I couldn't see her face, even so, I know it heated up. Before I realize it, Mrs.Marsh was speaking to us more, trotting to Diamond and I. She must have assigned the others. "You two will do your project is on Luna and Celestia." I groan. Mrs. Marsh a known NLR fan. She loved Luna's history, more so then anything else. "A book on it, to be exact. You both must know the history by heat, do so, and perform." "W-Write a book?!" I stuttered. "You want us to write a bo--" "And perform, did I stutter Miss. Scatenata?" I shrink. Mrs. Marsh narrowed her eyes before she handed the paper. "This will kill your grade if you don't do the work." I took note on how long the requirements were. What kind of school does this? This is not an assignment anymore. There..can't be a pony that would allow it.. She turned away from me. "Well now, discuss! Ponies, your time has come to discuss your topics and become masters!" She's insane. Very insane. What pony allowed her to be teacher? Diamond turned to me with a frown. "Now I'm screwed. I have an idiot for a partner, you might kno-" Diamond was worse then Mrs.Marsh! I growled at her. "Shut it!" I am screwed, very screwed. "We just need to figure it out! We need to get through this. I don't care for it either, but we need to pass. I'm..ugh, willing to actually work with you if it means I can pass." She tapped her chin. "Fail or be stuck with you? Both are quite bad," She debated and sighed. "Fine, you win. What's the plan, Blank Flank?" I shrug off the comment. I can't fight her, I won't. Not right here, I don't want to hear Pirouette's opinion on the matter. "Meet me at the library tomorrow. We can start then." I suggested. She shrugged and gave a small smile. I caught it before it disappeared. "No," She quickly interjects. "I'll get Coffee Cream to send the books over, all of them on the subject. We'll just do so in my room. I'd rather stay home then be seen at some rundown library. Especially with you." I glare at her. Great, she won't make anything easy. I figured so. When the bell was about to ring, she gave me a kiss. My eyes widen as she pulls back. "...!!" I sputter. She even took what I would say away! What the hay?! "W---What..?" She laughed at me. "Of course, stupefied. Figures you'd go stupefied when you get a kiss from the best of the best." I blink. "And you agree with me." I can't speak. Why can't I even say a syllable? She turned away, leaving as the bell went off. Diamond Tiara just bucking took my first kiss away and she---GAH! I can't explain it all. Everything. I can't figure everything out. Its horrible, thinking everything. Diamond wanted to piss me off and piss me off she had. She won this round, I can't believe I'm even dumb enough to continue, thinking every bit of this over when I should be thinking of the project. She'll just help me with the project. That is all. "You okay there?" I blink and spot Archer looking at me with concern in her eyes. I move forward then turned to her. Awkward. "Uh, okay. I'm, okay I mean." I clear my throat before I start heading to next class, ignoring her response. I feel like a freak right now. Bigger freak now then ever before.Being a Blank Flank makes you one already, but that's not the point! I can only hope none of the ponies from my upcoming class knew. I frown to myself. Great, another boring lecture. Maybe I can sleep in this class instead. "LOOK OU---"What was that-Something just collided with me, slamming me in a locker on my back. My stomach drops and my hips grew wide.Whatever was the cause slid down, the head of the cause growing awfully clo-- "WHAT THE HAY?!" I kicked and floated above him before he slid all the way. Brash was an idiot, I wasn't expecting him to be THAT much of an idiot. "What the hay was that?!" "I said 'Look out.' "He brushed himself off before standing, giving me a frown. He was attempting to be condescending. Ha, Diamond Tiara can only do the role."You never looked out." I twirled around him to meet him face to face before a teacher was bound to see. My voice lowered for him to hear only. "Its because I barely heard you, you bastard." What? My reaction wasn't acceptable to him? He rolled his eyes. "You quite indeed had." He argued. He was a known debater in all the aspects. This is why ponies don't talk to him."It would be an impossibility-" "Shut it egghead," I said. "Don't explain. I just need to get to class, no explanations. No talking. Okay?" I grew exasperated as he nodded with an air of annoyance as I flew off. While everything was starting to grow from bad to worse as time passes, it was horribly slow. When everything HAS to be fast, it never is. Its almost unbearable. Then again, I only have 5 classes. Last period was always the same:Lunch. That was a relief. When I grabbed my lunch and scooter after the last main class. "Scootaloo, over here!" Apple Bloom waved at me. She had friends, more friends now. She only listens to them when at lunch though. Still, she acted like Star Song and Aerosol when around them, and they didn't like me. The others I hadn't learned yet whether they liked me or not, though, I prefer to not to learn. My ears lower from it.Apple Bloom seemed to be herself this time, however. "Ca-" Star Song was one to interrupt, even when whispering. I bit, holding myself back. I know what she'll say. She always has a negative feeling from me. "You want her here?" I heard Star Song very clear. Apple Bloom looked torn. "She's to..uh.. "What are you saying?" Her voice harshly whispered back. They argued in the manner for a while before I decided to trot away, head lowered. Even Apple Bloom was acting like them. "Scootaloooo~" Sweetie's voice rang. I frown. She had her own set of ponies too, all artsy. I couldn't understand either group, but they were nice enough. Paint Song and Blank Canvas were sweet ponies. "Here, here!" I trotted to them. It wasn't like I had much of a choice. "Hello," I smile and sit. "How are you all?" Sweetie Belle grinned at me, her smile was from ear to ear. "I'm fine, how about you all? The classes are amazing, more then once thought!" Sweetie Belle opted to go further, even going as far as have 7 classes. Two of which were extras. I sensed she likes the classes because they were more based on magic. "Hello, Scatenata." Paint Song was very polite. I nearly flinch at the name-only a few ponies call me the name. "I heard you can dance, correct?" I nod. Having a mother with the expertise in the field was one thing that it gave you. "Why, what's up?" I question. Painter Song smiles as she gestures to herself. "I-I want to learn." She stumbled. I raised an eyebrow."I-I really want to learn.P-Pirouette doesn't do lessons anymore, so I thought you'd teach me. If, that's alright with you, of course." I bit my lip. She had brown eyes and a mane that betrayed her cutie mark:Grey and Brown. Her coat was white like a canvas. "I wouldn't advise you to take her classes if she had them anyway," I frowned. "There's a reason she stopped the classes." Sweetie Belle's eyes fell on me, her gaze falling on me with worry. "Why's that?" Blank Canvas asked, his grey eyes widen. "I never heard of anything from it." I laughed at that. Was he innocent? "Of course not, she won't tell shit. She barely informs me on anything. I just know you shouldn't. It doesn't need to be told, I just know its a bad idea." I take a bite of lunch I pulled out. "I'll teach you, just don't go near Pirouette." Paint blushed at the answer. "T-Thanks...T-Thanks Scatenata." I hold back a comment as I nod. "Anytime, Paint." It became clear they wouldn't get an answer, so they continued on something different. They knew I won't answer, and that's fine because I won't answer. Something fell in my stomach. I guessed what it was instantly:loneliness. Even with a group of polite ponies, I felt weird. The loneliness bit. My eyes drifted towards Apple Bloom's table without them knowing. Apple Bloom was smiling. It was odd, but I didn't bother looking into it. Loneliness was a better companion alone. > Princess Flashback > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You said I was meeting you here, did you change your mind or something?" I growl at Diamond before flying down into her room. Eck, too pink and self absorbed for my tastes. I peer at her once more. She's planning something, I can tell. Something's a miss. "O-Of course!" Diamond stuttered before she composed herself. She murmured to herself. "I haven't changed my mind. Get your blank flank over here." I shrug and do so. There stood at the edge of her pink and purple clad room a giant stack of books. I shrink back. Sweet Celestia, how can ponies make so many books on two princesses?! "Ha Ha! Your getting old act is getting old, why don't you spice it up a little?" I roll my eyes before shifting. What was she reminding me of? I internally sigh to myself. "Jeez, you say the same things every time you face me, call me when you come up with something new for a change." I can't look her in the eyes, I shift my back legs and my wings tuck behind me. "Why don't I just call you a flunky?" Diamond Tiara threatened before narrowing her eyes. "You said we should get to work, hadn't you? Well, we are. I'm still going to call you a blank flank no matter what. Deal with it." I look over Diamond Tiara. Same as what happened yesterday-she had such a coy smile. It couldn't have been towards me, by the way she acts. Still, I back off slightly. "Fine, fine, you must love me. If your insisting that should stay, then you must care for me!" I joke before taking a seat on the floor, grabbing a book in the process. "I wonder what made Princess Luna go crazy in the first place." Diamond Tiara shrugged, turning away towards a book she chose. "That's right, your a blank flank, you don't realize it yet." I raise an eyebrow towards her. "Care to explain?" I bet she'll laugh or mock me in some way. She's- "You won't know anyway," Diamond was actually being SERIOUS. That's a shocker. "You need a cutie mark to know what it feels like." I roll my eyes. It always revolves around a cutie mark. "How, dare I ask again?" She glared at me, tossing a book she used and didn't like at me. "You don't know how its like," Diamond mutters to herself, pulling the other book away. Her hoof covered her mouth for a moment. "Her cutie mark is about the night. Think about it, you dodo brain." "What's that supposed to mean?" She can't be serious. What does that mean? "Do I need to explain everything to you?" She asked, exasperating. "You can't be this stupid. She was jealous of Princess Celestia, or did you forget how the tale goes? Do I need to explain that too?" "Hardy har har," I grumble. "Of course I know, everypony hears that at least ONCE. Two ponies rule over Equestria. One ruled the day in which 'ponies played and frolicked' but the other, the youngest sister, dealt with the night as ponies slept. She was jealous of how the ponies were so happy in the day that no matter what her sister said, she declined it and she turned into a wicked mare of the moon. Her sister BANISHED her using the elements of harmony for 1,000 years where they were used to defeat her and rid of her evil when she returned." "Looks like you know something. Congrats, your at the level of a kindergartner." She was so full of jokes today, wasn't she? "Guess what the sister's cutie mark represented." "The sun, where--" My eyes grow huge, why didn't I think of that? "Of course, Celestia can do the same as Luna. She can bring up the night if she really wanted to. That would make her cutie mark pointless." "Not, 'pointless', that's not the right word. 'Redundant' is a better word. When there's another pony with the same meaning cutie mark, you get jealous. You can't help it." "Is that why you hated Miss.Cheerilee's Cutie Mark lesson so much?" She didn't answer me outright, never looking me in the eye as she had "answered." "She's a liar, when you get yours, you realize it quickly. Ponies have similar cutie marks, they don't make you special at all. There are exceptions, I guess, but that's typical of anything." She closed her eyes before speaking again. "Luna learned that quickly, her sister has the same abilities. She's a pony, so she needs to sleep. That's the only reason why Luna means anything and doesn't turn again. To learn that what you do means nothing also heightens the pain even more." "When did you become such an expert in this area?" I floated over to her. When was she so philosophical all of a sudden? I never expected her of all ponies to have such insight. My cheeks burn as I wiped her tears away,. She's pretty insightful-something that makes her cute. I like mares that are that way. Wait, cute? She's a jerk! She's nowhere near CUTE. "You seem to know this awfully well. I didn't see anyponies that have something similar to your talent." "Talent? What talent do you have?" A mareish sounding voice whispered sadistically. Something squirmed. "Being a whorse? Nopony wants to be a whorse, you've got to learn that now. Nopony will love you as much as we do here. Learn that here and you'll be squared off. Don't trust anypony outside our circle. They'll hurt you right off the bat." "Hmph, figures you don't know," She huffs, fears sliding down her cheek again. I hold her close, even when I'm so jittery and worried. Even when the hug wasn't that tight, I still touch her. I ignore the first thought. That came out of nowhere. "I thought everypony knew by now. Then again, only 'popular' ponies hear of him." I pout-of course she directs everything towards me again. Better ignore that for now. "Who is it-tell me. Its not like I wouldn't know eventually." It can't be that bad. She must be related to somepony Pirouette had brought home for work or made...never mind. "You might not realize it, "She grew awkward, I hold her close to me still, my head on her shoulder by now. "But I also have a sister and brother. Sadly, my sister isn't the one that I despise in that category." "Your brother...?" "He sells all out diamond accessories. I make jewelry. He just LOVES to one up me at any given time!" She complained. "He's always making me feel.." "Like you don't mean much?" I shrug off as she looks to me. "Yeah, I figured much. What's his name anyway? Never said I heard of him before." "Rock Slant," She gave off another huff. "He's a jerk all the time. Mom just allowed him these years, Dad's even worse." "You won't go no where in life, sis. If your born at the top, you'll stay there. You don't have anything to your name. Me, on the other hoof, happens to be a very different story dear. I got into college free, I'm a top notch lawyer. You, on the one hoof, are just a whorse begging for cash like the whorse you are. Pity, right?" "I can't say I face the same problem myself," I admit. Pick Pocket's words still ached. "My sister's the same way-a jerk in all the sense of the word. No where close to your brother-she just puts me down like she can, that witch. She's nothing more than a two faced mule. Just watch him fall, begging and you'll just stand there laughing at him. I plan to do the same myself."I spat out, Diamond looked amused by my comment. "That bad, huh?" She said. "Course, didn't think you had a sister other than that rainbow maned mare-Rainbow Dash, I think." She cuddled in my arms as she laughed, even if by mistake. My cheeks continually burn as she does. "Course, my mother didn't think 'nothing of what she did. She blames me and puts every ounce of pain on me." "Humph, I didn't even know you had a mother either," Diamond Tiara replied. I roll my eyes, of course I do. Paint Song must have heard about it earlier, how she managed to get the information astounded me. Only Paint Song had some interest in that-Sweetie Belle lacked interest in her. I'm glad, I didn't want that information to be leaked. She wouldn't know my parents like I didn't know the names of her siblings. When they are on to-never mind that "They put you threw Tarturus, I can see that." "Hum..?" Why would she get interested in that for? I don't even know why I brought it up. "Of course, many ponies forget I have actual parents." I look away, my eyes drifting towards the stack of books. I let go, flying down to the floor once again. I still want the touch-I wish I had it again for a split second. "If she does anything to you," A mare with a grey coat and black, sleeked and combed back mane had warned. Her violet eyes were filled with despair. "Tell me, I won't let you stay there a moment longer. I shall never allow her to harm you once more. If you have been hurt again-I'll do everything I can and I won't hold back. I won't allow any pony to do that again. Promise me, okay?" "You...you won't right?" The response was quiet. "Please don't tell her--I don't want her to know! I-If you try..she'll know and..and..." That mare wiped away the tears. "Shush, shush," She cooed softly, bringing that poor soul closer. "Your safe with me, your not ever going to be harmed here. I promise you with my life." "You okay there? Your wings stiffed." I shook my head. "I..I'm fine, really." My eyes drift. I shouldn't have agreed. Not today. Maybe I should cancel Paint's lesson. No-Rainbow Dash wouldn't do that, she's loyal. I shouldn't either. "Your okay here," A pink filly cooed. "Come on, don't worry at all. I'll get daddy to get us something to eat. Won't that sound fun?" "You don't seem to state them much, that I know," Diamond Tiara spoke up before my eyes drifted towards her, my mouth hung down a little. What just happened? She analyzed me, scanning me up and down. Unease was something that I should be used to with her already."Looks like I hit a soft spot." "Its nothing, really, at all." My voice hitches forward. "Don't worry at all, nothing here to hit." I'm a huge idiot, I just jumped into her- "Your lying, quite bluntly. It takes an idiot to not see that." Diamond frowned at me. "Just go on, tell. You will eventually."I eyed her. What was she up to? "Why do you want to know?" I glare at her."Why tell you in the first place? Its not that interesting." Diamond Tiara paused as she placed a book she merely glanced at before down to answer. "I told you my problem," She spat. "Least you could do is tell me yours." She had me there, but no. She can't know. "I told you to not trust ponies, didn't I?" Where did that come from? "I can only say so much, you know?" I giggle nervously, moving back with unease. She'll hurt me, I know she will. I care for her, even if I hate it. When she sees that-- I don't want to do that-being in love makes you do that, right? I have to show my love that way. I don't...want to go through that. She's a jerk, but I- "Why are you covering it?" Diamond snapped. I have never seen her so curious or angry at me for this reason. "Your covering your bucking tracks. You wouldn't cause a commotion if you didn't have anything to hide." I thought that was normal? Its not? "I can't tell you, its a secret," My lips curl up. Fear is something high right now-smiling isn't helping me right now. I shouldn't be smiling. "I..rather not get in trouble, okay?" "Remember Auntie Crystal Wave?" That mare brushed that drowsy soul in a place where they aren't supposed to. That thing that was molded to care for that mare allowed her. She loved her, still does deeply. "We've been consulting with eachother as of late and carefully chose to let her drop off Sleek Finish here, you know, her precious colt that she just adopted?" Anything was better than reliving that event. Sleek was much different than she was-when she was called alone, didn't need to be forced. He took everything in stride, whatever the mare had made them do together, he was glad to do. Sleek was just that fanatic-not that that soul felt violated by Sleek's other attempts. Still, she loved Sleek Finish. Sleek Finish cared too, just more so than her preference zone. Only the mare was allowed to love her that much. "Ummmhumm..." She mumbled, drowsy and tired. Her fur showed signs of rough housing as the mare, fuzzy in her vision, rubbed her midsection contently and occasionally brushing much closer. "He wanted to show you lots of love too, sweetie." The mare was content with nuzzling and lightly brushing away the leg. "He doesn't need you to give him your full love. Remember, its exclusive to only me, you and your sister. Even if he shows...too much for his own good." She gave tiny kisses before she pinned her down. When she had, she kissed her with a passion never to be shared with a child. The soul, by now, didn't see it as off. The soul deeply knew it was off, not supposed to be, but why question? She knew best anyway. She was touching somewhere she didn't need to be touching-she was playing a tongue war with a pony much younger. "Do you know how much I love you? Your sister doesn't appreciate it much. She cries too much." The mare moaned quietly. "Tell, how much do you care about me?" The filly was uncomfortable with that line, knowing if she didn't answer with the correct answer, the end result would wound her more than anything. "Of course I love you!" Her whispers were so soft. Tear dripped down her tiny cheeks. She agreed, her thoughts telling her never to. But love was love. She accepted the love, no matter if she didn't like the love. Anything for the mare. "Je t'aime." "Why would you keep your family a secret?" "Oh, that I can't tell you!" I frown as fast as I smiled. I whimper at her.How come everything bad happens with Diamond Tiara present? Did she know the trigger to pull and project my damn memories? I don't want her to realize. I don't want anypony to realize. I shook my head, ignoring the throbbing legs as I forced myself down into the corner. "I...just can't. Its a...upper class type thing...you know.." "If you don't tell me here and now, Blank Flank, I will tell somepony else and MAKE them tell me." She threatened, yanking me on her bed away from my corner, pulling me up and pinning me down. "Because, I still care for you. No matter what way I act, blank flank. Now tell me, what the buck's the matter?" She gave me a kiss like she had earlier, but it wasn't the same. My chest heaved as she tried going further with me. She wanted it too-I'm punished. She's punishing me. "You remember your Auntie's line of work?" The mare's voice was a deadly tone at best. It held such anger that was directed in a calm way towards the poor soul. That filly shrank back beneath the softness of the bed. She didn't move her limbs-they couldn't be moved as music filled her ears. Something classical-but she didn't care. The mare talking was fuzzy, too fuzzy to be seen by her much as she pulled something out. It was something cold and hard that slithered through-a cello bow. It was easy, anything sleek, cold and hard was always her way of punishing. "What was her name? Octavia?" She squeaked as it tapped her harshly on the inside. ""P-Please, Mama-Please stop!" She screamed out multiple times, and by a certain time, her voice was raspy from begging. Her aunt promised her something, but lied to her face clearly. "I-I didn't tell her anything-I swear!" "That's not what she's been telling me," That mare mused at the thought. She scarred the midsection with ease before she pressed down again, still pushing through. "You told us what happened with Pick Pocket. I can't tell you how angry I am to hear you tell her lies." Her stomach was heated and numb as she screamed again, tears falling in trails. "I never lied!" She cried again, pleading once more. "She was worried and..and.." "Don't drag your Aunt into this, don't you agree its wrong?" The cycle of touching and pulling away was what she got used to. "M-Mama--" "Aw, look, you care now. I told you to say good bye the day you last saw her, I was right, wasn't I? She didn't come back for you. I wonder where she went." She licked the instrument as blood dripped from her spot. That filly cried again and again. The mare fed her so many lies, her spirits instantly fall with them. Even when knowing the true outcome, her spirits were shot. She didn't care even that Sleek entered the picture, having a turn with her disgusting body. No one would want to get involved anyways. Why would they want to help her? Trust was a delicate thing, even when accidental, its torn easy for her. What's trust mean again? Tears flung carelessly down my cheeks. Why can't she get off me? I don't want that anymore-I don't want anypony to touch me again. My heart races, please get her off me! If she does, I think I'll go crazy! She nuzzles my neck attempting to calm me-I guess. She has the same look of anger and annoyance. She was pinning me down with such force. Her hoof goes down to investigate with a curiosity I wished it lacked. Why can't she see what I don't want? "D-Diamond..?" "I care for you, Scootaloo, don't forget that," Diamond whispered, her breath tickling my ear. "If you won't tell me one way, I'll tell you the other." "I truly love you-don't think I don't," Sleek said, his words hollow. He was much more forceful, pinning her down. She didn't recognize the foreign object he used instead. He cupped her cheek as she cried that night. "I know what's wrong, and I'll fix it. Don't worry at all." A rippling scream pulsed through her throat that night. "I-I don't love anypony else-I told you this!" She screamed at him as she felt a barrier break, her screams increased as he shoved a pillow in her mouth. She gagged as she cried, biting down. "You didn't tell me one way, sweetie," His assurance was wrong, she knew this. "So you'll tell me this way." "G-Get off me!" My breathing worsened. Please get her off-GET HER OFF! Diamond Tiara didn't listen to me. "P-Please-get off..." Diamond Tiara frowns at me once more, studying me again. "What's wrong?" She whispers before holding me close, tears forming at the base of her eyes. Wait-why is she crying? " You can't see what you have in front of you. Your an idiot, you know that?" "Diamond..."My voice is lost. I can't find it. Please end everything. Yet, out of her forcefulness, what she said next maybe worsened everything even more. "I know what your hiding, I shouldn't be the one confessing." Diamond frowned again at me. "I know your mom perfectly. I know everything. I'll show you that you don't need to hide anymore. I'll show you love." "GET OFF OF ME!" I screamed this time, pushing off immediately. Please make it stop. Please get me away. Why can't I leave? Diamond looked surprised at me and backed off. Pushing her away was step one, darting off from the window was step two.Diamond didn't seem to take too well to that, she raced of her home just to get to me, being that it was long, it must have taken strength. Then, a thought just hit me while I'm darting away:where am I going? Either way, I dart away, only seeing her figure stop and something clouding my vision for a moment: a prismatic thing that disappears like Diamond. "JUST RUN, YOU FREAK! GET AWAY FROM US-WE DON'T NEED YOU HERE TO KILL US LIKE YOU DID THE OTHERS!" They all are just like that aren't they? > I'm Sorry , I'm Sorry. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Your so sweet, you know that?" A sweet melody flooded her ears, a small smile tugged at the end of her lips. Mama was always one to show her love, something a pony most definitely show. She felt her mother greet her by rubbing against her, her hoof sliding in at first chance before it was removed."Have you been good, my dear?" Her eyes widen at the implication. "Y-Yes, Mama, Yes I have." Her Mama never believed her in most circumstances. She paused for a moment before kissing her stomach with love. She inched forward before pulling back. "I really have been Mama." "Good, you deserve a treat for your behavior." Mama said, leaving immediately after seeing her. She turned to see where she left to. She couldn't see where after her mother shushed her and made her stay in her place. She said one last thing before she disappeared down from the home. "You'll be watched by Sleek Finish for good behavior. I'll reward you soon after. Mama's going to be judging something as of recently. Some art show. Be good for Sleek, show your love the best way possibly. Mama loves you." She winced. She didn't like Sleek, she preferred Aunt Octavia. Octi was her favorite, choosing not to show her love right, something she didn't...quite understand she liked. However, she wasn't available. "S-Sleek?" She murmured to herself before feeling something slam into her-her body colliding down deeper in the bed. She tried locating her balance. Sleek Finish brushed her mane as she stared up. The scene was perfect for him-she was gorgeous, albeit, too young. Much too young to show off, but she had her uses. She radiated to him, those innocent eyes staring at him were a whole other benefit he quite happened to enjoy. She still gave him a frown and a look of fear, but she still was beautiful. "I..didn't think you'd come so early.." "Only for you, Scatty. Didn't our love show that?" She only recalled the whipping and the beating. Mommy didn't tell her what level of love that was, but she preferred not to figure. It was probably a high end love that she didn't understand. She didn't want that love, so she figured he was nasty. "Aw, come on, don't be like that." "Sleek-" He cut her off with a passion filled kiss, instead of letting her speak. Her emotions were high. She didn't like his rough kisses that made her feel like she was violated in some way. She managed to see from under him. He pulsed, she knew what was coming. He ended the kiss shortly after. "Come on, Scatty." She touched there, she touched there where he wanted her to. It was experience best left forgotten. Liquid fell on her before she felt that pulsing in her. Her tummy muscles expanded as he kissed her tummy with affection. She didn't work for him, she wouldn't. He was waiting her her hips to buckle, expanding from joy. She didn't have that pleasure. "Come on, go further!" Sleek's voice pleaded as he moaned, pushing forward, his gunk releasing into the victim more. Did her mother lie? She was surely being punished. She didn't know what she did wrong, but she must have done something. He clawed at her before kissing her with a passion that marked something close to what only one pony had done before-something she was very uncomfortable with since she wasn't at that level. "Aw, you can sustain much further than that, can't you? You've done so before." He nipped at her a moment. "G-Get o-off me, i-it h-h-h-hurts!" She cried out, she couldn't move him off. With her vision blocked off by her long, purple mane that draped over eye and her tears that fell in trails along with his body, she wasn't seeing anything over his head . I-I can-can't--" She screamed and clawed the bed completely. Her body shaking and trembling from under him. The rippling pain as her hips buckled and let him have what he wanted was not what she intended. He pulled out and she felt the slithering of a tongue against her. She squealed from surprise before attempting to buck him off. "Don't you dare," He kisses her neck and nuzzling her as he pulls out. "Come on, try harder. I'm not even close to being done." She gave a weak giggle of desperation before she pushed off, her legs strong from adrenaline that pumped through her veins. Quickly from a rush, she bucked him off, rushing away as a wetness dripped down down her back leg. She was bleeding and wet, something not good on either fence. "GET AWAY FROM ME!" She screamed, pushing herself away from the mansion, her body not slick from even the blood wounds and the gashes she has sustained. Sleek Finish was always a rough pony. He grabbed her my the waist and forced her down, uneasy by her actions. He gave her a mischievous smile before he tried once more to settle her. "My my, do you want me to tell Auntie that your love wasn't strong enough?" She shivered as she stared. That was a horrible possibility that was bound to happen. Mama wouldn't like her disobedience. Why was this anything different? "D-Don't tell Mama.." She pleaded as she backed away. "I don't want Mama to hear that." Sleek shook his head, his smirk widening as she spoke. "Isn't that what you wanted? You totally ignored that I love you. Cousins are supposed to do that, aren't they?" Sleek was lying, but she didn't see that. Her ears lowered for a second before she raced away, her wings beating against her sides. The fear of the whip was too strong to match Mama's punishment machine. Besides, which would she believe? Sleek or her? A trail of blood continued to follow her as she flew, her body propelling upwards after these beats. Her body was in such a rush that no matter what happened, she didn't have a care. She was flying anywhere and everywhere. Somewhere away from the Manehatten home, anywhere from it. The fierce cold was biting her, tearing her limbs. She still tried staying high, far enough from the unicorn's magic before she landed on a cloud. "Please don't find me..."She looked down from that cloud and her eyes turned to pinpricks. "Oh sweet Celestia-Too high! Too high!" She hid on that cloud, trembling in all sense of the word. She was but a tiny tiny filly-flight was never easy, and with an acquired fear of falling, she wasn't sure if she can get off. She looked down from that cloud and her eyes turned to pinpricks. "Oh sweet Celestia-Too high! Too high!" She hid on that cloud, trembling in all sense of the word. She was but a tiny tiny filly-flight was never easy, and with an acquired fear of falling, she wasn't sure if she can get off. She examined her area-there wasn't much, only a small shops on the other clouds, but never anything on her cloud. Was this a rest stop? She didn't pause to find out the answer before she was whisked off from the cloud. She never screamed so hard in her life, a scream so loud that it could pierce windows. Landing in a cart full of nothing but hay heading to somewhere was just luck on steroids, something that happened once in a life time. She was glad this was that time. She buried herself within the hay, realizing a bulk stallion looked over from curiosity. "What was that?" She heard the stallion question before shrugging it off as he walked away. Where was this? Her smell was gone, that was a plus. There's no blood either, a bonus! The rocks of the cart drowned out the surroundings, her eyes started to close before she realized-her sleep was coming fast. ----- Why does fear and drowsiness always make you do the most stupid of things? Scatenata made sure to reprimand herself for this. Why did she run away from her Mama? She was bound to find her somehow and she'll get her for sure! She dropped her ears before pacing around the strange, foreign town. She never seen a place so small or so..homey before. There goes a strange pink mare bouncing like a bunny, Scatenata took interest in her, but didn't approach. I wouldn't dream of approaching her.. She tilted her head before 'casually' walking away while still focused on her. She's something...I wish I could do that too. Scatenata gave a short, tiny whine. Other than an outburst or two, she generally was a muted figure. Better left to her own devices-anything too loud was bothersome. Mama liked calling her 'Dolcieve". While she didn't quite get what that meant, it had to be something with quiet. She couldn't help that she grew jealous, a filly can dream big dreams, can't she? "--and he was totally like--" She backed away past some brush. Hiding wasn't needed; being ignored was easy when you don't talk very frequently. She laid there taking the town in. Nothing stranger than this town, she believed. She sniffed the ground before sauntering off. Maybe I can find something.. She frowned. After some investigation, she doesn't find much. Dread and worry piled on and she lacked a place to go. Mama wouldn't love her after this, she'll be punished severely. That's when she was going to end it. Maybe she can find a way back to Manehatten? Then his face popped up onto her features, Sleek Finish wasn't going to allow her to act this way again, he'll hurt her double and they might not find her body when he's done. I'm no hungry.... Food wasn't important! Stay focused Scatenata! She sniffed the air once. It was already turning night, Celestia's moon wasn't quite up high yet, she has to find somewhere before it sets. "Why can things go right?" She cursed as she stumbled, pushing forward as she continued to drudge on. That's when things went haywire. Her world of what love meant started to crumble. All due to one pony she met that day that saved her during the cold night. "Come on, don't do that." A filly her age frowned. Scatenata didn't back away from her as blue eyes seemed to scan her up and down. "Are you okay?" Scatenata squeaked at her as she offered a hoof. "I'm...okay.." She whimpered softly, taking the hoof. "I..really...am okay." The pink filly didn't seem to care about any excuse she had. She took her into her care in her little hut she had for herself. She allowed her to eat, she hadn't done so for hours. That's when she found her heart beating hard and her cheeks lighting up in something she didn't understand. Apolgies, I can't help but wonder if it's such a good idea, That filly right there; such a stranger, I never really talked to her. She felt so very sorry for my fragile, little body, And took my hand and held it tight. Scatenata didn't understand at all, her blush was great across her face. She would try her hardest to forget about that strange feeling that wasn't registering. Even in that hut that had sounds of timberwolves coming forward, she experienced something that she never had before as that pink filly helped her of her wounds as she had such a sad look written in her features. Pity. "You told me you were fine, but I know you weren't,"She said softly, pulling her to the bed in the corner. It was a makeshift bed. She didn't want to back off, but at the same time, remembering that small area worried her. "Come on, lets get to bed. With those injuries you need to sleep." With that, she laid there, looking towards her with worry. "What's...your name..?" She was reluctant to ask. The filly tapped her chin. "Didn't tell ya have I?" She frowned at herself. "Shoot, I probably should have. With what you suffered through (Scatenata widened her eyes at her phrasing) I should probably tell you." "...M-My name's Scatenata.." She said quietly, making the pink pony skeptical. "Scatenata's much different of a name than I would expect you to have. Your so quiet." She chuckled. "Diamond Tiara, nice to meet you." That's when the pain started. This foreign feeling was conflicting itself with something that she started to feel sour and dull. She snuggled closely with that filly, and she stayed like that. With dreams coming, she was truly happy. Then again, when something comes up, its bound to fall down. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I must be acting like a bad, rebel child. Forgive me please, forgive me please, I'm just a little, pitiful being. I'm sorry, say goodbye, What a naughty girl who must flee from Mama's grasp. I'm sorry, forgive me please, I've fallen for someone other than the Mama that I was in love with. Ahh lalaa~ Apologies, I can't help but wonder if it's still a good idea, I can't help but feel you really despise my body and it huuurts. I feel that I will never repair the damage that's been done, I might as well be locked up in a cage. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I must be acting like such a selfish child. Forgive me please, forgive me please, It's just I'm scared to be alone. I'm sorry, say goodbye, What a frightened girl who flees back to Mama. I'm sorry, forgive me please, I've found that I can't fall in love with any one other than my mean Mama. As I returned, Mama was surrounded by many faces, They said to me, "we've been expecting you from the very start." I hear grumbling, they just want to eat my beaten body up, I could see it in their hungry eyes. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I must be acting like a bad, rebel child. Forgive me please, forgive me please, I'm just a little, pitiful being. I'm sorry; I'm yummy? That's because I'd had my heart warmed from that soul. I'm sorry, I'll take the pain, Even if it kills me, you can eat. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I must be acting like such a selfish child. Forgive me please, forgive me please, It's just I'm scared to be alone. I'm sorry, I feel it, But I'll embrace the pain if it's all for you. I am so glad, say goodbye, Everyone that ran my life, please feel free to consume all but Mama's heart. > Between a Mare and Thoughts > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I flew harder, faster than I ever felt myself do. My wing beat against my sides. I can't recall a time when they hurt so much. Though, this is faulty, my memory never was the best. Maybe something happened befor- No, wait, it had. Completely. It was one of the few memories that I can remember; beating the pain in my wings and realizing such a stupid fear intensified. All the more reason for my stomach to get all acidic and knot up. I forced my eyes closed, the wind whipping me at this point. It knew I was bad, obviously. 'What was with those messages?' I question myself. My thoughts didn't give me an answer. I didn't even know I had those thoughts, but even so, it felt dirty. I felt dirty. Yet, I shouldn't, should I? No, I think not. 'So many...they can't be memories...like I thought..' I couldn't exactly believe myself. I shut my eyes closed tightly. 'Why did I even like Diamond Tiara-why do I think I like her?' No reply as of ye- You should feel dirty, you were touched there. A tear escaped. That can't be. Diamond saved you at least once, don't you recall? The voice was quiet and timid-my thoughts were I mean. Diamond wouldn't sav- She did, she had. I love her-I care for her in heart. Yet she was such a snob-a jerk and a bully at that. But she...s he saved the filly. She saved her momentarily and showed love that she never had felt. If I could see myself, I'd say I was blushing. I can feel it across my cheek. She knew all to well, don't you think? It responded to me without my answer. 'What-you can't be..' I shook my head. I don't know what I said during the visitation with Diamond. It was just..there lacked words. I can't figure why. "I heard your mommy was one of those BAD ponies, " A violet filly commented towards the simple orange pegasus filly. The pony made emphasis directly on BAD. That orange filly cringed, knowing well that she was being insulted. Still, no response prompted another surge. "..and do you know what MY mom says about bad ponies?" "I..I really..." The other answered back, scared out of her wits as she scanned to choose words. "I...I really have no id--" The violet filly smiled such a cruel smile, like she was prey. That filly allowed her such cruel fun, hadn't she? "Of course you don't, I shouldn't have bothered to even ask. After all, you pegasi are all the same. Wait, nope, just you." She snorted out the last part as she laughed. She had found it funny to bask in the misery of the other. "After all, I'm assuming you know the answer anyway, but too dumb to say it." "Wh...what are you suggesting..?" She perked at the other, a frown crossing her features from the insult. The violet one flicked her forehead, smiling all the while with arrogance. "Can't your tiny feather brain realize it yet?" She brought the dizzy filly close to her, enough so only she can hear her words. "Bad ponies have bad fillies, its the rule. But you wouldn't see that, would you? After all, your just as bad as her, maybe even worse. Especially, when that somepony's just a no good filly fooler." She pushed her away with fearful, yet such angry eyes glaring out at her. She summoned her courage to speak in defense of herself. "I'm NOTHING like her, don't you compare me to that..." To that what? To..to mean Mama? She didn't have the courage to end the sentence, even with her anger. To mention that her Mama was mean defied everything, something her mind didn't wish to do. "You lost the moment you spoke. So sad, isn't it? That your defending yourself for being such a nasty filly," She chastised before shrugging with a smirk."But hey, you and her have something in common, now don't you? You won't be alone, you'll just continue being a toy until you become real anytime soon to find yourself a toy. I'm sure you like making others bad, don't you? After all, your not going to go any higher. Your just some nasty filly that wish she was a normal, like ME." She turned away before flicking her tail in her direction as she gave a toothy grin. "You'll never be better than a normal pony such as I, Summer Stone. But, I think you realized that by now. Now, if you excuse me, we pure fillies have to go home to our pure Mama and feast." Summer Stone took some joy as she trotted away, leaving the orange filly to look horrified. 'She knew her mom was bad..like my own...' Why can't these messages just leave me alone? I'm not her! I don't even know her one bit-but they sound so familiar. Everything is familiar. All the feelings were familiar, everything. The shear panic was climbing in me-I know that soul's plight, her panic my own. Its because she's us.. It was a thought worth noting. How long..? Was I just..? I shook, my hooves firmly placed somewhere on the ground. Where was I? How did I even land? I knew my mom was bad, I read up on that, I instinctively knew it. I shook my head. 'That's just impossible.' ..can't you see that your running from us..? Why was this voice persecuting me? Was this some sort of joke that Celestia wanted to test me with? 'I'm not running away. I don't know that..that filly. I don't know her.' I can't believe I responded back. It didn't answer right away. Why are you in denial? Wait what? 'I'm not in denial!' I counter, "I don't have a reason to be in denial, I don't know her. I don't know any of what your saying, can't you understand that?' The thought didn't respond before another 'message' answered my instead. "Mama, why are you bringing me here?" The filly kindly asked, her purple eyes showed much curiosity. The mother took note of it, pausing slightly to catch her thoughts. "Mama?" The mother craned her neck to glance at her child. "Hush now, Mama's just thinking. Don't cause a fuss over something minor," Mama replied. "Ah, here we are. My precious collection, darling. You'll be the first to see the newest collection. Your sister saw the first. She wasn't too pleased, the poor dear." The filly in question turned to see the mother's big fuss over such a collection. It was a collection she heard of before-something that she wasn't exactly sure of meant value until now. It was shelves upon shelves with dolls so lifelike in quality, something so divine. Yet the smell over all, despite the beauty, was quite rancid in nature. She nearly gagged at the stench. "Its so beautiful Mama!" She marveled, still, the stench was overpowering. No beauty should smell like a carcass. "Its the most beautiful sight I ever seen! Its just the smell that's so off putting, don't you agree, Mama?" She flinched. How could she forget that she shouldn't say certain things? Though, thankfully, the mother didn't seem to mind. "Aw, yes, my little 'lieve, the stench is quite..off putting, as you put it." The mother noted as she nodded. "I believe I've gotten used to it-you'll to, Sweetie." "What do you mean, Mama?" She couldn't stop herself from asking, enthusiasm escaping before she quietly piped down. No way, no how, could she make such beautiful works of art. She barely could draw, making such a beautiful creation was beyond her grasp. Besides, when is Mama this nice? Why is she even trusting her? 'Especially when I know she's...she's a bad pony..she's a bad pony, like Summer Stone said...' She tried ignoring the pit of horror in her stomach as she thought. She tried, honestly, to ignore everything and return back to her normal habits, but, even after a few days of trying, she still plagued her. She hid her response. "Your going to help me make them, isn't that obvious?" The filly was taken aback. She couldn't use scissors correctly...or paint better than a slob, so why would mother subject herself to a pony that lacked such artistic skills? "Bu-But I..I can't do that..." She whimpered. "I can't make such pretty dolls and marrionettes like you, Mama. I would be a bother, wouldn't I?" The mother shook her head. "Nonsense! You'll surely be a help. After all, you surely must be taught how to master these elements. Your sister decided otherwise, however, I intend to make you learn." The mother shrugged some minor fears, but a bigger fear loomed her. "Besides, one pony needs to have such great tastes, and it isn't your sister."She flipped her curls to show effect. A scream rippled through my throat. The mere thoughts cut off dug so deep, but the thoughts wouldn't get the chance to win. Something spun. EVERYTHING spun. You can't run..from yourself. Tears trickle down my orange cheeks as air whipped past me with fury. The spiral went down more, my wings feeling a downward draft. My heart was dropping-no, I was falling. How can I be falling? There was so much blood, everything stained with blood. Intestines...please...I want to flee.... ...flee from...myself... I realize quickly that the second part of what it said..was said by me. Was I that cruel? Was I committing that? Regret pulsed through me. I try opening my eyes, but they won't. My eyes wouldn't open up or maybe they had but I couldn't see. Black, all black but there lacked pain that I was expecting. The pain that I so rightfully deserved. Where's the impact? Something held onto me. The questions were piled, I just lacked the answers. I can't open my mouth to answer. The function was disabled. "Squirt, your going to be alright. I'm going to fly you straight away." A murmur was given out from whatever questioned me. My form didn't relax at all. There were screams of some emotion. I can't figure right now..it all hurts so much..what was the screaming about? I can't feel myself groan, but the need to was there. That's when something sharp pierced the center of my chest and my head started with such a pain, with such a pain that was equivalent to being run over twice by a train and then by a cart. I felt convulsions then a sudden stop abruptly. She stood, craned over a body of the violet filly-Summer Stone. Her eyes wide and giant, looking for a way to justify. There lacked justification-you can't justify the scene. There were screams, so many screams. The screams filled her ears, but she couldn't make the screams go away. Then the silence took its place and the blanket of screams was shrouded. With a frown and a look of great pleasure from the mother, there was no returning..and then the snap that ended it all. > A line of Beeps > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beep Beep Was she falling or was she laying? Her body was numb and she can't move her limbs at all. She wanted to flex and to see her body. Then, the lag dragged on. She needs to flex badly. She feels scared. Beep Beep Then the burning came on, she couldn't scream. Her limbs burned with piercing pain. She couldn't see whatever caused it-she can't do much but cry. Even then, she can't cry at all. She feels desperate. Beep Beep Her limbs stopped burning, but her throat felt hoarse despite the inability to scream. Her muscles ached in desperation. When that ended, it was silent. With pain, there was feeling. She wasn't alone, but that left. She feels abandoned. Beep Beep Beep The shroud let her eyes open wide, but there was nothing to see save darkness in strangely let, odd lights. The lights flashed in blotches that were in lumps of colors. Why they came together was odd to her. Was it to mock her and her inability to cover her face? Some of the lights were blinding- a rainbow-esque blotch was insanely bright but beautiful. It was coupled with cyan and violet pink. She felt jealous of its radiance and boldness. The next light was something vibrant but less blinding:yellow, red-orange, red, and something pink. She felt herself want to smile and blush at the light. She didn't know why. More colors flung towards her. So many unaccounted for pinks and purples. One noticeable was pink, purple, white, blue and a tinge of silver. Her heart fluttered and she was sure her cheeks were flustered. She couldn't stop herself from the strange chest flutters. Yet..she liked it. She wanted to embrace the colors for some stupid reason. Her heart broke when they disappeared. Everything disappeared except the darkness. She felt heartbroken. Beep Beep Beep "You said she would be fine!" Blurry voices. Sound could enter through darkness? She realized she could move her head back and forth. When she had, her shoulders were able to be moved too. She wanted to weep. They were scaring her. They were afraid like her, despite the inability to put the words together. "She's going to be. She should be up by now instead! We're learning of why now." They were there, she wasn't alone. But, she was. She was terrified. Beep Beep Beep Her body wasn't her own. It was foreign-different. A new entity filled her being. It was companionship she never experienced-those feelings. Rich, anger-inducing feelings. They weren't of normal circumstances either, but it lingered. Thoughts that didn't exist previously cloud her vision, the darkness filled with new rich variants of different images. So many-but they were so limited. How old was she? Where had she been? The dark splotches caked her vision of a long line of images. Some pained her-she didn't understand said feelings, others made her feel richer. Then, there were just images that depressed her that she couldn't see. The voices she couldn't match except one. Her-she knows her. It alluded her how she managed to still have a burning desire for her-but she doubted it could be reset in the other. Her senses heightened to a degree she never experienced, her muscles began to strain, starving for movement once more. She hadn't moved so long-it was too long. She wasn't comfortable in her own skin anymore. She was too big-older than the images, she figured. If she wasn't the pony...then why is she seeing this? 'Scatenata, darling..' The voice cooed. She perked her ears-the voice was taunting. Images of a cello bow so cold lingered deeper than she wishes it had. She's supposed to be pure-innocent. Her first time with another she loved. So, she lied. Covered her trails. She wanted to be that way, but she wasn't. This voice made that certain. "You better stop playing around." The images started shifting into something darker, harsher than could ever been done. Fillies and colts spewed on the floor before getting sown shut-organs simply removed and used for the illegal meat trade. At least, she figured. Terror filled her being-the little pony simply held onto the scalpel in such horror that can't be described. Then, a crack. She couldn't rid of them-they filled her very place. She felt so disgusted and horrified. The beeps of something get louder, she can hear the been rushing against her ears. The source she can't find. Beepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeepbeep She wanted to scream out. She begged and pleaded to a god that she had to assume was looking away. Then again-she hardly knew what a god was. She prayed to the very word and idea. Then, her forearms moved. She moved an arm and touched her face for the first time. She bent forward, leaning. It was something terribly unexpected-didn't know she had that ability. The darkness gave way with cloudy, dizzy and disorienting lights that flooded and hurt her eyes to even look at. Wings-she had wings? Could she move them? She forgot about the appendages entirely. It fascinated her that she has something like that. She figured she was an earth pony. Then again, are they usable? She wanted to test that sooner or later, but had no strength to had the moment. She could barely see, after all. Her wings stretched, but they they roared in defiance. They didn't want to be moved so they created pain that prevented it. She sputtered and coughed out before feeling a warm pair of hooves (assuming they were-she hardly knew what hooves felt like anymore.) and an earth-shattering embrace that knocked the air out of her. "Pinkie! She's in recovery!" A stern-voiced mare reprimanded. The hooves recoiled and clunked as they hit the floor. When the disorientation stopped, she could see it was a pink clad mare. Her hair a puffy dark pink in contrast to her light pink coat. The stern mare was, instead, purple clad. Indigo hair with a purple and pink streak that straighten to the horn until it curved to the nape of her light purple coated neck. Dark violet eyes greeted her along with a set of light blues. "Oops, sorry.." Pinkie sheepishly laughed. She looked around as nervousness clenched at her chest. All these ponies and all the emotions pent up ached to be released-but how? They reminded her of the splotches from before-there was the yellow and red blotch that was now a mare along with the rainbow blotch that was unbearable to see with a cyan to boot. Beside her was the pink, purple, white and blue blotch she wished to have stay, it turned out to be another mare with a tiara. So many whites, oranges, yellows....too many ponies to describe! Dizzy. She was dizzy with emotions, confused and helpless. They stared at her and talked-they greeted and cared. Why didn't she know any of them? "Scootaloo, we were worried sick about you!" The yellow and red mare spoke. Her name wasn't Scootaloo. They must be mistaken or something. Nopony called her (then again, who talks to her? She doesn't recall anypony) Scootaloo. It was a strange, uncouth name she sort of adored. Scatenata was her name, it was a cursed name that she loathed, but her name. "W..Where am I?" She asked. Wait-she could speak? This was wonderful! The weight of her emotions (they have weight?) fell off her shoulders. "My...my name...Why are you calling me Scootaloo?" Who knew such a little question could warrant so much?
