> Forgotten > by Jimena991 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prologe one: The last day. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prologe one: The last day "Not another step!" Luna shouted, appearing from beside her throne, "Did you really expected me to sit idly by while they all bask in your precious light?" The princess of the night walked towards the middle of their two thrones, "There can only be one princess in Equestria, and that princess will be ME!" her eyes shone as she hit to dust the concrete adornment, with two alicorns resembling she and Celestia. The darkness became stronger as the moon raised to the sky, forming a perfect solar eclipse. The Darkness, Luna's creation, began to engulf her, trapping her into a big ball of black magic. Those black colors became sky blue as they divided, revealing a tall, black figure. Her body, now using a dark sky blue armor, touched the floor as her eyes obtained a cat-like pupil and her teeth became sharp as razors. An evil laugh escaped from her throat, unfolding her large, black wings. Those furious eyes concentrated in Celestia, as she did some steps back. Her horn shined with a sky blue energy as she threw a beam of energy towards the roof. Celestia evaded the fallen pieces of concrete that her sister threw to her. She looked from the ground to the wicked mare of dark coat that walked towards her. She elevated some meters towards the roof, trying to intimidate the wicked mare. Another beam hit the ceiling, it almost hit her. Celestia descended to the ground, making little noise. "Luna, I will not fight you. You must lower the moon!" she said, her voice was rough, yet soft, "It is your duty!" "Luna? I am Nightmare Moon!" the voice of the mare of nightmares was filled with hate and envy, "I have one royal duty now, to destroy you!" Celestia flew to the sky, almost being hit by the sky blue beam of energy her sister threw to her. She escaped using the hole the first attack made. "And where you think you're going?" Nightmare Moon asked, flying towards her big sister. A third beam Celestia could evade, falling towards the earth, followed by her wicked sister, evading various attacks. Celestia flew back to the sky once again, not being able to evade an attack that hit her between the wings. She fell to the floor, her body doing a strong noise. Her eyes were shut, yet she could hear, really distant away, the laugh of that mare of nightmares. Her horn did not respond to her, so she couldn't use the Elements of Harmony, her body hurt so much that she preferred to stay still. She opened her wings, trying not to give up the fight, but her right wing was broken and the left one burned by the dark magic of Nightmare Moon. Using every strength she had, almost fainting by the pain, she rose from the floor, her magic responding once again, but her wings being unusable. Her hair did not move on any unseen air, demonstrating her hurtful condition. "Oh, dear sister, I am sorry" her eyes became shut, "but you have given me no choice but to use these!" her horn glowed really faintly, being really hard to open the secret cellar where the Elements reside. They raised really fast, spinning by their own. Celestia walked towards them, applying some curative magic on her wings, so she could fly a little. She rose from the floor and, using her magic, each Element began to spin around her, form a really faint magical aura. Celestia rose to the sky and confronted Nightmare Moon, decided to do everything in her hooves to defeat her. Tears fell from her eyes as she used her very last energies on the Element, sending towards her sister a really faint beam of rainbow-colored energy. The one that Nightmare Moon used, darker than the night, crossed the one of the Element of Harmony, almost killing Celestia as it hit her. Her body fell to the floor again, but this time a hoof pressed on her neck. The wicked mare was, now, in control of the Element, thinking of what she could do to the solar princess. "I know what I will do to you!" the mare exclaimed, "I will exile you to you precious sun for a thousand years!" she laughed again, "And don't even think you could defeat me, Celestia. Now I'm much stronger than you" All Celestia could see before her eyes became black was the now corrupted energy of the Element being thrown at her; but she could hear one more thing: "This was the last day" > Prologe two: Blinding light. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prologe two: Blinding light. I fell to the rough ground, feeling a intense heat coming from it. I opened my eyes, feeling really weak. My wings and my wounds where banded, and I know who to thank for that, even if she is my enemy. I could get up, feeling a really strong pain, and I saw my surroundings, seas of lava and some rocks was all I could see... "Is this the sun?" I was astonished, even trough I control it, I never saw it, "I believe this will be my new home for now, correct?" I looked at the planet so far away, yet being visible: the Earth, where Equestria is located... Wait, did Nightmare Moon should the land in eternal night? I opened my wings and I tried to fly away, yet all I could do was levitate and, than, fall once again. My right wing, being broken, could not support my body. "Why do you try to escape?" said a voice beside me. I looked at the creature, it was Luna—no, Nightmare Moon, "Isn't this what the all love and cherish you for?" I contained my breath, the cherished my sun, not me? Did my beloved subjects use me to have light, food, and a kind but blind ruler? I shock my head, that was all lies, those MUST be only lies... "No, Celestia. That is the truth" she said, looking at my pink eyes, "You were blind until now, that I opened up your eyes" she laughed, "May you be by my side to show them not to abuse of your kindness? To show them how they shouldn’t have used you to have the light everyone wants?" Even trough her offer sounded really good, I chose not to accept it. She sighted and looked at me, starting to vanish into thin air. "My offer is still up, until the day you accept it, my sister" When she was gone I laid on the ground, embracing myself with all I could. The pain, oh the pain... What she said was true? Did they really used me? It brought me real agony every time I think about it. But the tears began to fall when I trough of everything I could have done to avoid this to happened... Yet, I could not do something to escape until the time to save my subjects has come, the morning of the thousand year... All I could do, for now, was sit and wait until that happens, resisting the heats of the sun, along with its blinding light... > Chapter one: Came back. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter one: Came back. I tried to lay on the floor to sleep, so this last day before my return could go faster. Memories of Luna and me, being happy, when we defeated Discord and King Sombra... A sweet dream, but really distant away as my beloved sister fell to her creation, wich used her hate and envy to make her stronger. I open my eyes as I get up, my eyes looked at the Earth, as I trough about my creation: did my sister destroy it? I must hope that it didn't happened, because The Light is the only thing I can use to became more powerful and bring my sister back. But when the words "Eternal night" echoed in my head, I began to think. How everypony survived all this time without the light of the sun? "It's easy, Celestia" a cold voice said, appearing beside me my little but wicked sister, "Since the moon couldn't give, by itself, the necessary light for my subjects to grow food and other things, I used your creation to make my celestial object much brighter and warmer, so it replaced the sun" she looked at me, "Are you sure that you don't want them to suffer from using you?" "I am, sister. And, believe my word, I will do everything to bring you back... Luna" my voice cracked as her furious eyes concentrated in my sad, pink ones. "How many times I must remember you this, Celestia?" she asked, irritated, "Since that day, I am Nightmare Moon" She didn't know how her words hurt me, but before I could say or do a single thing, a bright light engulfed me... Wait, this magic is so pure, and I know I saw this before... I am a fool! The Light, finally, was bringing me home! "And don't you worry about it, Celestia" Nightmare Moon said, "You could still use your creation... if you reach it..." "Is good to see you alive, Creator" I open my eyes as I get up, this place was only whiteness everywhere... Slowly, a earth pony walked to me, he had white coat, grayish mane and green eyes, bearing the Cutie Mark of a grey void. "Oh, The Light! Is so good to see you!" I trotted towards him as he embraced me, my tears slowly drying on his coat. "I say the same, Creator" the pony smiled, but his expression became serious, "But I'm here not to talk to you, but more to advise you. Nightmare Moon is really powerful, and The Darkness is something you must fear" "Why? It didn't seemed so strong..." I asked, more that just confused. "Nightmare Moon trained us, and now it and I are the only things that can kill immortal alicorns" I look at the floor and then him, my eyes letting the last tears fall. "Do you know what Luna did to the Elements?" I asked, slowly cutting with my horn the bandages of my wings. "Well, I don't know much... But I believe she has them in a secret cellar in her new castle" he looked at my pink eyes, "But first, you must find me. Without me, you could not purify the Elements of Harmony, or as Nightmare Moon calls them, the Elements of Nocturnality: Darkness, Nightmares, Dreams, Void, Moon and Stars" I smiled, so do him. He began to vanish as he reached for my hoof, looking into my eyes. I kissed his forehead, knowing that it calms his mind and body. Everything became blurry again, as I disappeared, but I could hear one more thing from The Light... "Is so good to know that you came back." > Chapter two: Eternal night. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter two: Eternal night. I felt the wind touching, slowly, my coat and mane, and the green leaves suporting my body like a bed. I open my eyes; everything is so... dark, compared to the sun. I get up as I open my wings; the moon was up on the sky, not moving at all. I sighted and flied all the way down the mountain I appeared. As I touch the ground, I looked at the big city before me: a very tall castle, some beautiful and rich houses, a ancient library with all types of knowledge. I read the sing just at the entrance: "Welcome to Canterlot, capital of Nocturnia". Nocturnia? That's what Nightmare Moon named Equestria after my defeat? As I enter the capital, everypony looked at me confused. When I walked near a restaurant, "Night's blessing", I could hear a conversation between two unicorn ponys, of the richest family I believe: "What it she?" asked the male one. "She looks a lot like Queen Nightmare Moon, she may be an alicorn too" answer the female one. "But her Cutie Mark... What is it? I don't remember seeing anything like it..." "I don't know, either..." she said, "But I read about it in a book, I believe is the sun, the bringer of day... Now that I think, what is the day like?" That conversation surprised me; they didn't remember the day or the sun? Where they, now, only a myth? I went up in the sky again, further that ever before... "Why did I even come back if they didn't remember me nor the sun or day?" I say as I let myself fall, closing my eyes, "To save everypony and bring day again!" I through as I flew back up, this time towards the castle. I say the crystal windows, Nightmare Moon defeating me in one of them, which really hurt me. Sitting in the throne, was that mare of nightmares, the crown of the Element of Darkness, the corrupted form of the Element of Magic, rested on her head. I knew the location of one of the Element, but where are the rest? For the rest of the night, until the lack of energy obligated me to rest on the same mountain I appeared, I seeked for my creation, hoping to find it fast enough. I lay on the floor, trying my best to communicate with The Light in my dreams... "What do you want to talk with me, Creator?" I was on the same white space, standing in front of me the same pony of light, this time being a pegasus... I think about how much he resembled an angel now. "How do I find you, The Light?" I asked, looking into his eyes. "You may go into the throne room, where not usually Queen Nightmare Moon resides, because she is at reunions or having diplomacy talks with other nations. Behind the throne, is hole, where your horn and the Queen's should fit perfectly" he said, smiling, "Then you should use dark magic to open it. At the end I should be..." "Good, and where are the Elements?" "One is in the Queen's crown, and the rest in a secret cellar in the Diplomacy Room" the pegasus said, flying towards me, "When you find me, I will guide you to them, Creator" Everything became blurry once again, the same blur I see when I'm about to wake up. The Light smiled at me, a smiled I copied. "Did you know that you look like an angel?" I said as I disappeared, but I could hear his response: "That's what I wanted, since I'm your Guardian Angel" My eyes opened once again, as I get up as fast I could. I stretched my wings, seeing the houses with no lights, not even in the castle. Everypony is asleep, even my sister… Slowly, not making a sound, I opened one window of the throne room, and I enter it trying to stay above the ground. I flew to the back of the throne, finding the same hole my creation told me. I pushed my horn into it, fitting perfectly, and I concentrated into every sad or angry trough I had, making my black magic stronger. Using a spell to make the sound just a vibration, the wall separated: At the end, a big ball of light awaited for me. I flew to it and touched it with my horn; The Light recognized me and enter my body swiftly. I closed the wall and the window as I flew back to the mountain, trying to sleep the final hours until the city became busy once again. Now, I had hopes to end this eternal night again… > Chapter three: Elements of Nocturnality. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter three: Elements of Nocturnality. Having my magic being reformed by The Light after a thousand years is really painful, even more after having it under the training of my sister. Its pure energy calmed my body and stopped my arching when the reformation ended. I decided to wait until everypony goes back to sleep to begin the search of the Elements. "Its really good to be with you again, Creator" I hear the voice of my creation, it is calm and cheerful, almost demonstrating how much he missed me "The Elements are, as you already know, in a secret cellar, yes, but it is in the Diplomacy Room of the castle, a good decision, nobody will looked for them there... except for us" I nodded as my horn shined faintly, not wanting to draw attention in this dark night, using a spell to see what my sister is doing now. Despite what she did to me and to our subjects, I still love her... My eyes shone bright as scenes crossed my mind. Nightmare Moon walked towards her throne, her long, sky blue mane flowing behind her, her tail almost touching the black carpet of the floor. Her green eyes looked at the crystal windows, when we defeated Discord, when we received the crown after the pass of our parents, the time when we defeated Sombra and lost the Crystal Empire... A smile crossed her lips as she looked at the final one, when she defeated me to bring eternal night. "Oh, sister, as much as I don't care where you are, I just want to say that... I miss you" a little tear felt from her eyes. A dark purple alicorn descended beside her, his bat-like wings closed lightly, his black eyes looking at the bigger alicorn, his black and purple mane flowing light in the wind, he had the Cutie Mark of a black void. One of his hoofs touched the concrete wall, remembering that white alicorn that almost defeated them. "Queen, this is no time to cry for that traitor named Celestia" he said, "You saw how The Light brought her back, who knows where, but you must find her and kill her" his black eyes looked at the green one's of the queen, "And let's start destroying her creation, okay?" Nightmare Moon nodded and walked towards the wall behind her throne, where the hole is located. Her horn fit perfectly as dark magic emerged from it, opening the wall towards the secret cellar. Its black walls were not illuminated by the pure energy of The Light... "What? No! The Light is gone!" Nightmare Moon screamed. Her eyes looked at the last crystal window again, "Oh, Celestia! When I find you, you are death for sure!" "I knew that we had to destroy it before... I'm sorry, your highness" the alicorn bowed in silence. "It's no problem, The Darkness, it was my fault from not killing her a thousand years ago" she smiled towards the smaller alicorn, "Come on, duke of Nocturnia, we have a talk with the representatives of the Dragon Kingdom" As they walked towards the doors of the room, the queen looked again at the crystal window. "I offer you so many changes to be with me, but you rejected everything... Do you hate me? Or do you not want your subjects to suffer?" I closed my eyes as a sigh escaped from my lips; everything that she said brought me real agony. I felt how somepony rested beside me; it was The Light, also in his alicorn form, smaller than me but bigger than The Darkness. "Do you think that we can win this battle, my friend?" I said, feeling how every hope I once had slipped from my embrace. "Creator, we will win if you have faith" The Light said, his horn pocking my nose a few times, making me laugh, "After all, you know that hope is the last thing lost, you know it better than anyone..." "Since I was, so many years ago, the bearer of the forgotten Element of Hope..." I smiled as my eyes concentrated in his green ones, "Thank you for remembering me that, The Light. I don't want it to slip away in time as my day and sun did..." He touched my face with is hooves, drying the fresh tears that started to fall from my pink eyes. As he closed his eyes and a smile appeared on his lips, I regained the hope I had lost so many times before, causing the destruction of the Element of Hope. "Here, everypony is going to sleep now... I believe we must go for the Elements..." he said as every light began to fade. I nodded as he entered my body once again. My hoofs touched slightly the black carpet of the throne room, the only place with a window open. I open the navy blue doors, what was in front of me was only one corridor that leaded to many rooms, with sky blue colored doors. "Creator, the third door at the right is the Diplomacy Room" I hear my creation's voice inside my head, so I walked towards that place. I moved the handle, yet I couldn't open the door, it was locked. "Damn..." an idea appeared in my mind, a thing I must try to open this door. Keeping my magic flow to a minimum, I used a spell to force open the door. As it open, I could distinguish the place, black walls, big windows, blue carpets on the floor. I saw on the other side of the room the same hole that contained The Light, so I put my horn in it and used black magic; nothing happened. My confusion could not be believed, but then I used pure magic: the walls separated; again I used a spell to keep the noise to a minimal. There, on purple pillows, laid the Elements of Harmony—sorry, my mistake, the Elements of Nocturnality. I felt how The Light created a saddlebag on my back: the one I used when Discord was defeated. "Thank you, The Light" I said as I put each Element in the bag, still having enough place to put one more: the Element of Darkness "Where is the camber of the queen?" I asked to my beloved creation. "In the same corridor, the last door, the one with the symbol of a black alicorn" he answer me, I smiled in return. "Thanks again, my everlasting friend" I flew to the door he mentioned, finding it instantly: it not only stranded out for the black alicorn figure on it, also because it was the biggest door of all. Using the same spell, I open it, as I saw on the other side of the room, how my sister sleeps peacefully. Beside her, at a meter of distance, on another purple pillow, rested her crown, the one having inside the corrupt Element of Magic. I levitated it, carefully enough not to make any sound and to keep my magical energy at the lowest brightness, and put it in my bag. I flew towards the door and closed it, and then I went back to the mountain I slept every time. But, when I was inside my sister's chamber, I felt like somepony was staring at me... Inside Nightmare Moon's royal chamber, the purple alicorn stomped his hoof into the floor, flapping his wings out of anger. The Darkness felt so foolish when he let his creator's sister take away each Element, like they were hers only; but being just awoken from his sleep, he couldn't use magic, or even speak to wake up his creator. "I should have alerted the queen when the traitor stole her crown... How this hurts, knowing that the enemy has the most powerful weapon of all: the Elements of Nocturnality" > Chapter four: A desicion to make. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter four: A decision to make. The six corrupted Elements of Harmony rested around me, forming a perfect circle. Using every strength I had, I used the power of The Light, feeling how magical burst of our combined energy reaching for them, trying to freed them from their own corruption. I felt the darkness coming from them, trying to corrupt me, but The Light keep them at bay. I smiled as the darkness disappeared from me; the Elements letting me purify them. As I concentrated in each one, I remember something related to the thing they represent. Slowly, Stars became Kindness, Moons became Generosity, Void became Loyalty, Dreams became Laughter, Nightmares became Honesty and Darkness became Magic. Each Element was now purer than before, and powered by the power of The Light, we were invincible. But then, a light appeared from high above, attracting the attention of everypony in the streets. I flew to it, bringing with me the Elements of Harmony; when I reached it, I distinguished what it was: the seventh Element of Harmony, the Element of Hope. Carefully, I put on my head the crown of the Element of Magic, its once black border now being golden like the sun that will rise if I win, on each one of my legs the Elements of Laughter, Honesty, Generosity and Kindness and, in my breastplate, the Elements of Hope and Loyalty. I was prepared to fight my wicked sister, but I was not the only one, I discovered as some scenes flashed before my eyes thanks to The Light… “Queen, are you ready to fight your sister once again?” asked The Darkness to his creator, the alicorn black as night nodded as she looked at him. “I ask you to become one with me again, The Darkness…” she said, lowering to the smaller alicorn, “So I can finally kill that traitor that was once my sister” The purple alicorn nodded as he entered the body of his creator, giving Nightmare Moon much more power that the one she already had. Her now stronger sky blue armor rested on her fur, feeling a chill in her spine out of its coldness. Her eyes looked at the place were was the bright light, knowing it was the Element of Hope. "She is stronger than before... The seventh Element is with her again..." she said as her horn shined, a sky blue energy covering it. I flew to the mountain once again, trying to rest until the battle begins. The power of each Element flowing inside me made me fell, how to say it, extremely strong, stronger than even before... "Are you ready, Creator?" The Light said inside my head, his voice demonstrating his feelings of fear. "Ready as I ever was, my beloved creation" I smiled as I saw how a black thing flew towards me. My horn began to shine as I prepared the first attack. Before I could even blink, a sky blue beam of dark magic almost hit me. "Face me, sister! Or are you coward enough to ignore me?" she said as I noticed how her coat became dark purple and her mane pitch black. "I will hurt you, sister, if it is necessary to bring you back, Luna!" I shouted as my mane became light grey, almost pure white. I flew to the sky and I threw to my sister a red energy beam, containing the power of every thunder in a storm, powered by the Element of Loyalty. I could hear the queen's cry out of pain, yet she threw me another beam of dark magic. As fast as I could, I threw another beam, powered by the same Element. Our attacks collided and made a black cloud of smoke. I flew into it, trying to escape from my sister's sight. I saw a shadow figure entering it, its horn shining with sky blue energy. This time, my magic beam was powered by the Element of Honesty, so it had a orange color and contained the power of the earth. She screamed in agony so I flew to the sky again, escaping from the smoke that irritated my eyes. I hear how the thunder of dark magic my sister invoked cut the wind, so I let myself fall, closing my wings tightly around my body. I saw the blue thunder just above my head, along with a confused dark alicorn. Still falling, I used the Element of Magic to throw her a beam of pure white magic. Nightmare Moon noticed too late my attack, so it hit her wings. I saw with my, now, green eyes how her wings lose all of her feather, obtaining a leathery texture I recognized to well: The Darkness's wings. Now I open my wings to maintain my altitude and used the Element of Kindness, using every strength of the winds to create a tornado to attack my sister, but that was my mistake... A blast of dark magic hit me between the wings, throwing me to the floor, like a thousand years ago. Her hoof pressed tightly on my neck and her sharp horn touching my head, I could feel how her magic engulfed it. I looked at the only Element, I knew, my sister was weak to and I decided to use it. My magic, now having a yellow color, threw to the wicked alicorn a flamethrower, burning her neck. I get up, my wings burned and broken from the attack where now restoring thanks to me magic of the seventh Element, the most powerful of all. I looked at the dark purple alicorn now trying to rise from the floor, her now purple eyes looking into my green ones. I walked towards her and used each Element to create a chain to maintain her on that place. I concentrated, now, in activating the Elements to purify my sister from the evil that consumed her, but when I felt how they negated my energy containing what I wished for, I felt how the fear engulfed me. "Creator, you have three options: first, kill your sister and control the sun and the moon" The Light said in my head, "Second, sacrifice your and my life to bring Luna back" tears fell from my green eyes, "Or third, sacrifice us, The Light and The Darkness, to bring your sister back, but losing your control over the Elements" I reach for the Element that, today, came back to me, I felt how every hope that it gave me, now vanished by those simple words, "Think fast, Celestia. You have a decision to make" > Ending one: Forgive me, sister. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ending one: Forgive me, sister. My tears keep on falling on the wicked mare that was once my sister. I looked into her violet eyes, seeing my reflection on them: my almost pure white mane flowing in an unseen wind, my green eyes filled with fear, my white coat bruised on some places, the seventh Elements being the only one shining now. Nightmare Moon noticed my horn shining with a bright and powerful yellow energy, instead of my normal, pink one. Her eyes noticed how the rest of the Elements didn't shine, only the Hope being activated. Fear engulfed her as tears fell from her eyes, now looking into my green ones, begging for mercy. "Please, sister! Don't kill me!" she shouted, her voice cracked as my horn and the Element of Hope keep on shining, "Remember every time when we were happy, please!" "That was a thousand years ago and..." my hoof pressed on her armor, cracking it, "...it all happened with Luna, not you, monster" "But I am Luna!" "You said that you weren't since you let your own creation dominate you and transform into this monster you are now" I keep an angry composure, but I was more than just broken inside, "And now, since I can't separate you and The Darkness, I have no other choice than end this all to bring balance once and for all" My eyes went white as every energy I had left concentrated in my horn, prepared to launch the final attack to end this battle, this problem initiated a thousand years ago... I felt the blast of fire consuming my enemy and her cries of agony, slowly, fading away. When my vision returned I looked at the ashes of the pony that was my sister, the only pony I trusted completely, the only one that could stay by my side forever. I raised the sun from the horizon, finally bringing day to my land and night to the other nations. I elevated the ashes of the alicorn and let them rest on a box of obsidian, the favorite rock of my sister. Tears fell from my eyes again when I descended the box into the grave I made exclusively for her, in the "Graveyard of the Royals". I read the lines written on the grave, my vision barely permitting me do it. "Here lays Luna Nightmare Moon, queen of Nocturnia for a thousand years, ruler of the night, best friend, family and sister, forever... Rest In Peace." My vision concentrated in the sun now shining brightly above, as ponies walked out of their homes to play under its warm light. Tears keep falling, one after another, as my thoughts became one only phrase: "Please, forgive me, sister" > Ending two: Don't forget about me. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ending two: Forget about me. My tears keep on falling on the wicked mare that was once my sister. I looked into her violet eyes, seeing my reflection on them: my almost pure white mane flowing in an unseen wind, my green eyes filled with fear, my white coat bruised on some places, the Elements shining brightly, feeling weaker as the seconds fly by. "What are you going to do to me, Celestia? Kill me, maybe?" she asked, her rough voice hurt me badly. "I will never do that to my very own sister, yet I will destroy you, Nightmare Moon..." her eyes looked at me confused, "...And bring Luna back" My energy obtained a pure white color, demonstrating the sacrifice I and The Light were doing, was now completed. "Goodbye Nightmare Moon, it was good to know you..." I throw the beam of magic powered by the Elements, seeing how it engulfed my enemy from head to hooves. A bright flash happened not so many minutes later, making me close my eyes. When the light disappeared, I open up my eyes again, barely seeing the dark blue alicorn and dark purple pegasus before me. They open their eyes and look at me, my bright color now becoming dull... "Celestia! Thank you so much for forgiving me!" they say as I barely felt their hooves embracing my body. I smiled as I fell to the floor, preoccupying them really badly. "Sister! What's happening to you?" she said, feeling how my heartbeat was now much slower than before. "I sacrificed my and The Light lives to bring you two back, so we don't have so much time left..." my voice was so low I doubted that they hear me. "No... You can't leave us now!" shouted The Darkness, his eyes looking into my green ones. "Even through I don't want to, I don't have any other choice..." I moved my head to look at the pegasus, "The Darkness, could you protect my sister and help her to rule this nation, please?" He nodded, so I smiled once again. My head turned, now, to Luna, "My dear and beloved sister, I only wish you a long and happy life, ruling the nation we worked so hard to raise, maintain and protect..." "I'll try to do my best, sister, but... Could you please say hi to our mother and father?" she said, tears falling from her eyes on my dull coat. "As long as you two made a promise to me, I'll do anything" they nodded ad my eyes slowly close, feeling how my last breath left my body, "Don't forget about me..." > Ending three: Welcome back. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ending three: Welcome back. My tears keep on falling on the wicked mare that was once my sister. I looked into her violet eyes, seeing my reflection on them: my almost pure white mane flowing in an unseen wind, my green eyes filled with fear, my white coat bruised on some places, the Elements shining brightly. I saw, through her eyes, how my mane became turquoise, green, violet and pink again and my eyes obtained a pink tonality. My powers, now weaker, demonstrated the sacrifice I had done, destroying my very own creation... "Don’t be sorry about me, Creator. I had a great life with you, and I must say that I admire you for taking this choice" his broken voice sounded inside my head. "I must say the same, my beloved creation..." my tears were now bigger and heavier as The Light didn't respond. I noticed the rainbow colored energy on my horn, the Elements of Harmony would grant my wish, but with a great cost. I felt how the energy engulfed the mare of darkness. A bright flash happened not so many minutes later, making me close my eyes. When the light disappeared, I open up my eyes again, seeing the dark blue alicorn before me. She opens her eyes and looks at me, filled with happiness. "Sister! Thank you so much for forgiving me!" her head rested on my neck as our magic reacting once again, lowering the moon and bringing the sun to the sky once again. I smiled as we walked towards the castle to be crowned once again as princesses of Nocturnia, decided to name it again Equestria. "Sister" Luna said looking at the bright sun, noticing how many ponies walked outside of their houses to play on its warm light, "Our creations disappeared, right?" "I'm sorry for taking The Darkness from you, my sister, but it was the only way to bring you back" I let a single tear fall, "Also, The Light and him were the sacrifices..." I looked into her green eyes, the same that my creation had. I embraced her with my wings, resting my head on her neck, "I'm sorry, Luna! It was the only way!" "Hush, sister. I don't blame you... It all was my fault..." I negated. "It isn't neither your or my fault, it is our fault..." she smiled, resting her head on my neck again, after so many years. Watching our beloved subjects being so happy under my sun's light, I remember something I, still, didn't say to my sister, "And Luna, welcome back"
