In the outer reaches of space several eons ago where many civilisations were not even in their infant stages yet...
There lived a race of immortal beings who called themselves the Guardians of the Universe......
They made their home on the planet Oa where they discovered and mastered the most powerful source of energy in the universe – the green energy of Willpower!
The Guardians frowned at the ideas of emotions seeing them as just weaknesses. But they desired order in the universe. To do so they divided the entire universe into 3600 sectors. A ring powered by the Green Energy of Willpower was sent to every single one of these 3600s Sectors to select a recruit – to be selected by a ring one must be one with great bravery and strong willpower.
These recruits formed the Green Lantern Corps which the Guardians ran to maintain order throughout the universe. When a Green Lantern died their ring would select a new recruit from their sector.
The Green Lantern Corps for eons has bravely and heroically defended the sectors of the universe. Since its inception many species were allowed to wear the ring and have the great honour and responsibility to join the Green Lantern Corps, and even today there exists many species yet to have one of their own join........
Sector 2812.......
In the Everfree Forest the animals were startled as a glowing green object landed in the first seemingly coming from outer space. This ‘object’ turned out to be a living creature. The being had dark blue skin, four arms, a single eye and it resembled some sort of giant slug. He was also wearing a glowing green uniform with a symbol on it. The symbol was a green circle and on the top on bottom of the circle was a green line.
“Good I have arrived mostly unscathed...” the creature muttered to himself as the long journey to the planet had worn him off and since the landing wasn’t exactly smooth.
“Now to find this tyrant when she escapes.......” the creature muttered as the moon was full in the sky and out form the moon’s journey was a dark blue shadow.
The shadow turned into a giant black Alicorn with dark blue armour and when it saw the creature trying to blast at it using the ring on his finger (on the pinkie finger on his bottom right hand) she dodged it and sent a spell piercing through his body, critically injuring him since he wasn’t in the best shape due to his landing.
Nightmare Moon just laughed as she left to rejoin her long lost sister, the creature then managed to touch his ring and a hologram of a purple man with a moustache came up with his moustache.
“Thaal Sinestro of Sector 1417 this is Ord Mergel of Sector 2812.” The creature said weakly “as I told you I had evidence an evil tyrant was going to escape from her thousand year old prison and go to the land the inhabitants call Equestria, I wasn’t able to stop her before she injured me and i may have to get my ring to go through the selection process.”
“Pity Ord I will miss you as we both went through training together.” Said Sinestro shaking his head “I have to go and prepare my next training with this ape that replaced Abin Sur but I will make sure your wife and children know you loved them and you died a hero’s death trying to stop a criminal.”
“Much thanks Sinestro.....” Ord said weakly smiling as the hologram went away. he then took out a giant glowing green battery seemingly out of nowhere.
He then took off his ring and said to him “time for the selection process........choose wisely!!!”
The ring then took off. Ord was thinking that SInestro was probbaly exagerating all fo his talk of Hal Jordan of Sector 2814 being a stupid hairless ape. He was sure he was doing some important serious work on his planet right now.
Twilight Sparkle grumbled as she was on her way to the Summer Sun celebration, all her efforts to find the Elements of Harmony had been fruitless so far and this was supposed to be the time Nightmare Moon would go free.
As he followed Spike into the hall for the celebrating she heard a voice say a name “TWILIGHT SPARKLE!”.
Twilight was startled and tried to look around her but she saw nopony was there, in fact she was one of the few who still hadn’t went into the hall for the ceremony. She was about to go inside the hall when she heard the voice again “TWILIGHT SPARKLE!”.
She looked around and saw seemingly floating in mid air was a glowing circle of green energy. She was amazed by the thing which seemed to be magic and thought that maybe this was Princess Celestia’s doing.
“TWILIGHT SPARKLE OF SECTOR 2812!!!!!” the cloud of green energy spoke to her ““YOU HAVE THE ABILLITY TO OVERCOME GREAT FEAR!!!!!!!”
“I am not sure about that.......” Twilight muttered when a second later the voice spoke to her again and she found herself screaming as she was floating in mid air inside of a giant green bubble “WELCOME TO THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS!!!!!!!”
Twilight screamed as the bubbles transported her to the Everfree Forest.

The bubble dropped Twilight in front of Ord Mergel, Twilight then was shocked when she saw the down body of Ord Mergel, and she then rushed to his side. “Are you alright?” asked Twilight worriedly. “Who are you and what has happened to you?” Twilight asked this strange creature.
“I am Ord Mergel of the intergalactic peacekeeping force known as the Green Lantern Corps..........” said Ord weakly “I came here and was killed by a tyrant called Nightmare Moon.....”
Twilight realised this means she was right about Nightmare Moon and........did he say he was form an intergalactic force............as in aliens?
“I can get you to a hospital........” said Twilight quickly.
“No it’s alright.....” said Ord saving the last of his strength “it is my time anyway....there is something you can do for me though.......”
“Anything, what is it?” asked Twilight quickly as he took off his ring and it floated in the air before placing itself in Twilight’s horn.
“oh my gosh.....is he proposing to me? I just met him as well!!! We haven’t even had a date yet!!!! What will Princess Celestia say, my parents, Cadence or even Shining!!!!!!!! Is there a book on being a wife I could read.....” Twilight thought in her head.
“Take my place as the Green Lantern of Sector 2812..........” Ord said using what was left of his strength “say the oath to the lantern by my side and you will have the power to defeat Nightmare Moon!!!”
Twilight looked helpless as she saw Ord close his eyes and take his last breath.... “Come on Twilight...” she sighed to herself “you will be able to avenge him when you stop Nightmare Moon, she said going to the Lantern lying beside Ord’s body ”now to recite the oath he said......what oath?”
Twilight spent the next ten minutes reciting any oath she could think of from her oath as Princess Celestia’s student to a poem she wrote for her second grade class. Suddenly when she hit the lantern with her horn it as well as the ring on her horn started glowing.
“In Brightest day, in blackest night...” Twilight said saying the words that were appearing her head as a green domino mask appeared covering her eyes and a green bodysuit like the one Ord was wearing manifested itself on her “Let those who worship evil’s might, beware my power.............GREEN LANTERN’S LIGHT!”.
RECAP OF LAST CHAPTER AS NARRATED BY PINKIE PIE Oh, oh, oh long time ago these boring really old blue creatures discovered green willpower and made rings with them send a lot of them into the universe!!! These blue Guardians in another universe created a bunch of robots which destroyed an entire sector which led to one of the survivors founding the evil Red Lantern Corps and they would later intentionally try to destroy everyone except for them with their Third Army!!!! Yeah they are boring and big meanies!!!! The Green Lantern Ord Mergel came to Equestria to look for Nightmare Moon but the evil enchantress who does evil dances killed him! That meanie! So he sends for Twilight Sparkle my newest friend, then he proposes to her! HOORAY! But he dies an instant later.........AAAWWWW!!!! So Twilight now has a fancy green ring the boring blue genocidal meanie Guardians made and that is when the chapter ended! Now I have to go plan a party to help cheer up Twilight for losing her fiancé!
Nightmare Moon laughed as she watched the helpless citizens of Ponyville scream at the sight of her. She was enjoying the sight of ponies running to their homes. Soon they would all understand and accept that they will never see her sister or their precious sun ever again.
“Where is the Princess?” Rainbow Dash asked as she was talking to Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy “and where did that Twilight pony go?”
“If only I had time to go home and change into my costume...” thought Rarity also wondering if her sister Sweetie Belle was safe.
“Can you believe it Fluttershy?” asked Pinkie looking at her yellow nervous friend “less than a month ago we finally get rescued from that island we got stranded on for five years and now some meanie has stolen the princess and the Sun!”
Nightmare Moon was still laughing when she was hit by a blast of green light. She turned and saw Twilight floating in air in her new Green Lantern uniform.
“Who is that?” Applejack wondered in awe with the other ponies on Ponyville “is that Ms Twilight?”
“So she is a hero like that Mare Do Well pony who dresses like a bat.” asks the young filly Dinky Hooves and her comment caused Rarity to huff at her.
“Who are you supposed to be, are you another one of these warriors that I killed earlier?” Nightmare Moon snarled at her new foe.
“I am the new Green Lantern of Sector 2812!!” said Twilight glaring at Nightmare Moon “and I am here to put a stop to you and avenge my predecessor!”
Twilight then thought really hard and another giant glowing green construct of a fist came out of her horn through her ring and knocked Nightmare Moon back again. “Incredible! The magic in this ring is allowing me to put to life whatever I think! I should need to study this later!” thought Twilight excitedly.
Nightmare Moon snarled as she shot a blast of magic from her horn. Twilight used a spell to blast some purple and green energy at Nightmare moon’s own spell, the two beams in a tug of war and Twilight’s spell was amplified by the green energy in her ring.
Nightmare Moon cackled as her magic was overpowering Twilight, Spike made himself known out in the public shouting “COME ON TWILIGHT!!!! I KNOW YOU CAN BEAT HER!!!!”
Twilight took a brief glance and saw the townsponies were cheering her on. “Can’t let Spike and everypony down....” thought Twilight seriously channelling her will into her spell and thinking of the ponies counting on her.
Nightmare Moon’s gloating smile turned into a frown as Twilight’s spell went from being overpowered to almost equal level to Nightmare Moon’s spell. It turned into a look of confusion and horror as she was now the one being overpowered.
“Despite thinking these ponies are crazy......I guess I do like them........like FRIENDS!!!!” thought Twilight in her head as Twilight’s spell managed to completely overpower Nightmare Moon and send her down to the ground.
“Impossible.....” Nightmare Moon muttered in disbelief getting up and seeing the cheering ponies. Twilight’s horn glowed green and sent a spell at Nightmare Moon and she screamed........
Then suddenly a familiar Alicorn pony appeared. “Princess Celestia!” Twilight said excitedly going to her mentor as the townsponies bowed in respect.
“Like the new look Twilight.” Princess Celestia smiled as Twilight’s suit disappeared “and it seems like I have my sister back...”
Princess Luna was in the place Nightmare Moon was surrounded by the destroyed pieces of Nightmare Moon’s armour. Luna rushed to Princess Celestia and they hugged. “Sister I’m so sorry.....I missed you...........I killed a poor creature........” said Princess Luna in tears.
Twilight smiled as she watched her mentor console her sister, assuring her that her actions were not her fault.

Twilight and Spike was packing things up for her ride home back to Canterlot with the ponies she met in Ponyville promising to write to her, she had also packed the Green Lantern Ord had which she had retrieved from the Everfree Forest after defeating Nightmare Moon. “Perhaps when I get home I can study this ring.” Twilight wondered in her head.
Soon she got home and after putting her stuff back in her room she told the Princess and Spike of how she got the strange Green ring. “I know very little of this Green Lantern Corps my student....” Princess Celestia said in thought before the ring in question started glowing and Twilight found herself her GL uniform again.
“Destination: Oa for immediate week long Green Lantern training!” the ring said as Twilight began flying out of the room screaming.
“Why can’t I go on this cool trip....” Spike muttered disappointed looking at the carpet. He was wondering if he should write a letter to that Rarity pony he met in Ponyville.
“See you in a week I guess Twilight!” chuckled Princess Celestia “Well it seemed Twilight didn’t need the Elements to free my sister, speaking of which I wonder if I can talk to Luna about this new project of mine I have been thinking about called the God Squad.....”

PRINCESS CELESTIA’S PERSONAL STUDENT TWILIGHT SPARKLE HAS BECOME A HERO, STOPS NIGHTMARE MOON AND FREES LONG LOST PRINCESS LUNA!!!
That was the headline of the Daily Canterlot Press the next morning. In her home Sunset Shimmer glared at the newspaper headline before levitating it and tossing it in the fire. This was supposed to be her! Her! It was so not fair!
Years ago it had been her who had been Princess Celestia’s personal student! She aced all her classes and had to endure her mentor’s boring speeches about humility and friendship.
When she began demanding what was rightfully hers Celestia became impatient with her and had the gall to expel her from the school and the castle when she was caught researching secret material!!!!
Then she learnt some purple unicorn took her place and now she was going about with some stupid magic ring Celestia probably gave her! Luckily she had a few friends allowing her to get a hold of some ancient secret books. These friends were a part of Celestia’s royal guard.
Stolen March was a brown furred and red maned Pegasus pony whose cutie mark was a pony sneaking up on another pony. He was sneaky and always looking for advantages when on duty. He had connections all around Equestria. While he had been a sergeant before when it was revealed he was calibrating with criminals he was suspended and when he returned demoted to a mere soldier. He was furious, surely the information he got helped the greater good of Equestria regardless of what deal he had to get them from and who it was he got them from.
Lieutenant Slade Eiling was a unicorn pony with a black mane and grey fur, he wore an eyepatch on his left eye due to an incident with a griffon and he had a scar close to the right of his right eye. He had enrolled in the Royal Guard two years before Twilight Sparkle’s brother Shining Armor would enrol. He had a reputation for his attack first and ask questions never attitude. He was also known as a bully to non pony species and some incidents escalated from minor to large because of him. He had several reprimands and suspensions in his record and if it wasn’t for them he would be at least a colonel with his experience and record. He hated that the Royal Guard was what he considered soft and thought if every soldier in the Royal Guard was like him there would no longer be any threats to Equestria.
With these two allies by her side Sunset Shimmer was sure she would be able to get exactly what she deserves. Twilight Sparkle will pay for taking her spot!

Soon Twilight then found herself on some strange planet where there were many green citadels and buildings. There were many creatures flying around in the Green Lantern uniform she was wearing. She found herself facing a giant bulky humanoid monster and a bird like creature.
“Welcome to Oa cadet for Green Lantern training.” Said the large monster “I am Kilowog and I welcome to you the worst week of your pathetic life!”
“Don’t mind him!” said the bird “I am Tomar-Re and we welcome you to our Corps! We will show you where the new recruits go!”

Twilight Sparkle was nervously in the crowd facing a giant green platform where Kilowog, Tomar - Re and Sinestro who Twilight could see was a man who demanded respect with just his face and posture.
“Listen up recruits to your week of training here on Oa so you can be inducted into the Green Lantern Corps!” shouted Kilowog “I am Kilowog chief drill instructor of the Green Lantern Corps and with me are Tomar-Re and Sinestro the greatest Green Lantern of them all!!! The race of immortals called the Guardians of the Galaxy assembled this Corps and entrusted us all with a ring powered by the energy of Willpower.......this week you will prove that deserve the tremendous privilege and responsibility of wearing that ring! This week we will train your dedication, your willpower and your concentration! We will make Lanterns out of you all!”
Then the Lantern recruits began going to the training areas. Sinestro began flying to Twilight. “So you are the one who has replaced Ord Mergel?” asked Sinestro and Twilight nervously nodded “I knew him, we were recruited into the Corps at the same time! He said he was going to stop an evil tyrant called Nightmare Moon, is the tyrant gone?”
Twilight nodded and Sinestro left but not before saying “make sure you prove you deserve to succeed Ord Mergel!”
Twilight was using a shield construct against missiles Kilowog was sending her way. “Sparkle you Poozer, you need to show concentration and will, and if you show doubt and weakness it will reflect in your constructs!” Kilowog shouted “concentrate and focus! If your mind is strong then your constructs will be strong!”
After focusing Twilight’s shield construct began losing the cracks in it. Then a yellow disc was thrown at Twilight which went passed her construct and knocked her out.
“The ring’s power is useless against the color yellow Poozer, but not a bad job.!” Kilowog laughed.

Twilight and the rest of the cadets were at desks looking at the paper which had the Green Lantern oath written on them. Sinestro was looking over them and said “you will all read the oath to yourselves until you are able to recite it in your sleep!”

Twilight was now flying in air trying to pass the asteroids that were coming her way. “You need to focus and dodge anything you see but not bad by rookie standards.” Sinestro said with a shake of his head.

Twilight now had her eyes closed as she was meditating with Tomar. “A Green Lantern needs to be focused which means taking time to relax.” Tomar said before continuing his humming.

Twilight was duelling with a fellow cadet. She had managed to knock him and his shield out with a construct of a mace. Afterwards her opponent offered a hand shake and she accepted using her right hoof.
Twilight looked and saw Kilowog, Tomar and Sinestro were smiling at her.

On the last day of training Kilowog was on a platform with a giant Green Lantern (which was the Central Power Battery) with Tomar, Sinestro and the Guardians of the Universe who were small blue beings in red robes. Around the platform were the Green Lantern cadets.
“You didn’t do it gracefully nor did you break any academy records but as far as me and the rest of the instructors are concerned..........you are all not completely worthless.” said Kilowog to the cadets “You are now officially Green Lanterns sworn to protect you sector and the rest of the universe! You are all free to come back at any time for extra training or to look at the library of Oa (*this got Twilight really excited*). Now use the Central Power Battery to officially induct yourselfs into the Corps by reciting the Oath!”
The cadets pointed their rings at the Central Power Battery and recited the oath:
”IN BRIGHTESY DAY, IN BLACKEST NIGHT NO EVIL SHALL ESCAPE MY SIGHT LET THOSE WHO WORSHIP EVIL’S MIGHT BEWARE MY POWER GREEN LANTERN’S LIGHT!!!
THE BEAMS FROM AL LTHE RINGS CAUSED THE Power Battery to light up and sent a blast of Green energy into the sky. The new Green Lantern academy graduates flew back home to their sector with Twilight excited to tell Spike, the Princess, her parents and her brother all about the week she just had.
AND SO THAT ENDS THE FIRST ADVENTURE OF TWILIGHT SPARKLE THE GREEN LANTERN OF SPACE SECTOR 2812!! WE WILL GO THROUGH HER MANY ADVENTURES IN THE CORPS, EVEN TEAMING UP WITH PONIES THAT SHE HAD MET DURING HER BRIEF STAY IN PONYVILLE!!! . . . . . . Flash Sentry panted as he was going home from training at the Royal Guard Academy. He was a yellow furred and dark blue maned Pegasus whose Cutie Mark was a dark blue shield with a yellow lightning bolt on it. He had a month ago joined the Academy.
The Royal Guard of Equestria was actually comprised of two main groups who were led by the Equestrian government including Princess Celestia. The most well known group was the official Royal Guard which guarded Canterlot and the palace. Flash heard in the newspapers with the return of Princess Luna this would lead to the return of Princess Luna’s Night Guard. Flash knew their Captain who was recently promoted was Shining Armor the coltfriend of Princess Cadence.
The other was the official military of Equestria charged with dealing with threats and conflicts with the other nations of the planet. Technically speaking they had more authority and power over the official and public Royal Guard though this hardly came up except if soldiers were abusing powers or were corrupt. Slade Eiling and Stolen March were enrolled in this military branch of the Guard.
It was the official Royal Guard branch of the military was what Flash was training to enter. He didn’t notice that he bumped into somepony. He was shocked to see a pretty lavender unicorn with a green ring on her horn.
He knew it had to be the Twilight Sparkle the sister of Captain Armor and the person student of Princess Celestia herself, he knew from the paper a week ago she had gained some green ring and helped defeated Nightmare Moon in a guise calling herself the Green Lantern.
“Sorry about that.....” Flash said with a blush and Twilight shook her head.
“It’s okay, I should have watched where I was going as well.” said Twilight as she went back to the palace.
Flash picked his things back up as he headed back the direction of his home, maybe to play his hoof guitar.

In a warehouse in Canterlot were Slade Eiling and Stolen March, both wearing the official uniform of the Equestrian military including black military hats, black shirts and yellow belts. Slade was angrily pacing up and down the place.
“I don’t believe it!” Slade snarled thrashing about the table “they refused and turned down my suggestion of sending an ops team into the Griffon Kingdom and find that wanted terrorist ourselves!”
“They said it would put harmless innocents into needless danger.” Stolen March said sitting down on a chair drinking some cider “as well as potentially start a war between us and the Griffon Kingdom.”
“A war against them we would be able to handle, we would be finally able to destroy that monster species once and for all!” Slade said glaring at Stolen March for daring to question him “and besides none of those griffons are innocent, we need to be able to bring down a criminal no matter what, the weaklings in authority as well as the Princess are just too weak to realise that!”
“Good to see you both here, my friends.” Said a voice and a smirking Sunset Shimmer walked into the room.
“I am starting to wonder if this alliance we are having holds any purpose.” Slade said glaring at Sunset, most ponies would have shrunken at Slade’s scarred one good eye but Sunset was not like most ponies.
“Look I believe you have heard of this new Green Lantern persona that stupid lavender unicorn that replaced me has taken for herself?” Sunset asked and the two military ponies nodded.
“I believe if I can get close enough I can use an ancient spell I learn from the books you have brought me to replicate the magic involved in it.” Said Sunset excitedly “with the magic of that ring we can take control and run Equestria our way!”
“I still don’t see why I should be helping with your scheme.” Slade said his face in a glare.
“Because......” replied Sunset looking at the experience soldier “you need me just as much as I need you!”
“What are you talking about?” said Slade with a large glare to Sunset who only laughed in his face.
“I think you know Lieutenant Eiling.” Responded Sunset as she continued “you have been a dedicated soldier for years but because of your attitude and the accidents that you started you will never rise above a mere lieutenant! No one fully understands the necessity of your more controversial actions and you will always have to answer weak skilled ponies. Follow and trust me and I will make sure you will be able to be the one allowed to make the tough calls!”
Slade just continued glaring but still gave a slight nod, smiling Sunset went over until she was facing Stolen March.
“....and how about you, you will not get far either.” Sunset said in March’s face “you a slimy weasel who will take any shortcut he sees that will suit you! You have already gotten into trouble due to who you have been in contact with! With my help you will be rewarded for the risks you have made!”
Slade and Stolen March were now staring at her. Slade broke the silence by saying “I am a soldier and everything that I have done was for the name of peace in Equestria! We need more soldiers like, more willing to do whatever it takes to best protect Equestria from viable threats! In order to make that happen yes I will be on your side but you will not be spared if it seems your schemes will only benefit yourself!”
Stolen March then said his bit “I have worked hard and just because of who I know I got demoted from my rightful place in the Equestrian military! The information I gather and the deals I made will justify anything that may have been done in order to get it! If teaming up with you means ponies will finally realise that then yes you can count on me as an ally!”
When she saw that she now had both of their attentions as well as them on her side, Sunset smirked and then began going over plans that she had.
One way or another she will take back what is rightfully hers from Twilight Sparkle!!!!

Twilight was relaxing on her bed having spent about an hour explaining to her parents and her brother Shining that she was recruited by an alien peacekeeping force and was entrusted with a ring literally powered by her own will.
After coming home she had promised Princess Celestia she would try and be more positive about making friends and that she would write to her reports of her findings about friendships.
Noticing a letter from her she opened it up and read it out loud:

Hey egghead I know it has only been a week but we at Ponyville have really been missing you. Applejack said she considers your part of her family now (bit weird since you were only in Ponyville for about three days or something) and I guess it was cool to meet an actual superhero! Also in the week since you left a new hero has appeared calling herself Supermare or something.
I am having a flight demonstration tomorrow and I was wondering if you wanted to show up? It would be great to see you there!

The next day Twilight was in the crowd watching as Dash was flying around in the sky using some impressive moves. Twilight believed she may have a shot at the Wonderbolts someday.
Then suddenly flying to her were three large Pegasuses in black suits and black masks flying about the area and barging into Dash.
“Hey!” Dash yelled angrily as the masked ponies were pretty much ruining her show. The crowd of townsponies were staring in shock as Twilight decided it was time to go into action.
Her horn bright up and thinking really hard her Ring formed her Green Lantern uniform around her body and she floated in the air with a determined look on her face.
“Okay let’s take these thugs down!!!” Twilight yelled flying after the ponies to the cheers of her crowd.
Using her horn she constructed a giant machine gun (having seen one in a fiction comic book about humans, hey a book’s a book!) and due to studying Pegasus anatomy she knew where the weakest part of Pegasus wings were. she began firing at them and it struck the three pegasi causing them to stagger and crash into the ground.
The police ponies of the town went and unmasked all three of the pegasi and as it turns out they were repeat troublemakers and were usually thugs for hire.
Twilight then went into the Pegasi’ face and asked “Okay why did you ruin Dash’s show?”
“it was Gilda!” one of them stammered “she paid us to disturb the show and humiliate Dash!”
“Gilda?” Dash asked her teeth snarling “I can’t believe she would stoop so low?”
“Whose Gilda?” Twilight asked as the police ponies began taking the pegasi in.
“Gilda is a Cloudsdale raised griffon who was my best friend from Junior Speedsters Flight Camp!” Dash said barely containing her anger “during the week since you were gone she came back and was mean to everypony else, she had ruined a party we were attending and seeing how much of a jerk she was I broke things off with her!”
“We will take it from here Ms Sparkle.” Said one of the police ponies as Twilight thought and had her uniform disappear “We will probably be taking them to Blackgate!
In Equestria there were two major prisons. One was Blackgate located between Ponyville and Canterlot where normal criminals were stored. The other one was Arkham Asylum located in Canterlot, where the mentally ill ponies and Equestria residents went to. Arkham had been founded decades of Starswirl the Bearded by psychologist Amadeus Arkham an unicorn who was one of the few that helped found Ponyville. He had gone insane in his later life and was treated as his own facility.
As they were speaking a female griffon who was watching this, clutched her fists in anger as she flew to her home.

Hours later with her stuff packed Gilda was hiding in the Everfree Forest. She could not believe her plan failed! She had hired those thugs to humiliate her old traitorous lame-o friend Rainbow Dash during her own presentation show but not the personal student of the lame-o Princess in a stupid green suit ruined her plan!
She was now on the run from the law-ponies and had to flee her home a wanted fugitive! It was all lame-o Sparkle’s fault! If it wasn’t for her Dash would have realised she had made a mistake in ditching her and they may have repaired her friendship with her. But no! Because of that stupid unicorn she was now a wanted criminal!
She was so furious she began hurting various animals and knew the one who had to pay the most was that stupid unicorn! Anger and fury was filling up her mind and heart and she could barely function.
Then suddenly she saw a dark red light approach her. “GILDA OF SECTOR 2812!!!!” a dark red booming voice said to her.
YOU HAVE GREAT RAGE IN YOUR HEART!!!!! the voice said as a dark red ring came out of the light and placed itself on her finger. She felt her rage and anger towards Twilight Sparkle override her thoughts by ten thousand until it was all that was on her mind. Every single millisecond her anger was growing and she left out a roar.
YOU NOW BELONG TO THE RED LANTERN CORPS!!!!! the voice said as the ring was glowing dark red and although she could not notice her eyes were now showing dark red. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR VENGEANCE!!!!! YOUR NEW LORD AND MASTER ATROCITUS PROMISES THIS!!!!
Gilda then pointed her ring at the dark Red lantern and then said the oath that also appeared in her mind along with all the anger:
WITH BLOOD AND RAGE OF CRIMSON RED RIPPED FROM A CORPSE SO FRESHLY DEAD TOGETHER WITH OUR HELLISH HATE WE’LL BURN YOU ALL THAT IS YOUR FATE!!!!!
After getting used to her new form she was ready. She would find that lavender unicorn and make her pay for ruining what would have been her revenge.
She will have her vengeance against the lame unicorn, who not only ruined her plan but caused her to become a wanted fugitive.
With her new ring and powers she will make the pony suffer, she will make sure her suffering will be long and painful.
She will.........she will.............she will make her suf...........suff........suffer............
Every second her intelligence shrinks but as long as she gets her vengeance she does not care.

Outside palace Twilight had run into Flash Sentry and was talking to him. “So you are training for the guard?” asked Twilight and Flash nodded.
“Yeah and good luck in your alien Corps Ms Sparkle.” Said Flash waving as he walked off and Twilight waved back.
“Good luck in your training Flash!” Twilight called to the cadet as she was leaving. Flash then walked into Twilight’s brother Shining Armor.
“Sorry about that Captain Armor........” Flash then said apologetically as he was facing the taller Captain of the Guard.
“No problem Cadet Sentry.” The blue maned unicorn said facing the smaller yellow Pegasus “can I ask you something?”
“Sure what is it Captain Armor?” Flash asked now cowering slightly at the glare Shining was now giving him.
“I just saw you with my sister.” Shining said his eyes growing fiercer with the glare “Is there any funny stuff between the two of you?”
“n-no Captain Armor sir- there-there isn’t.....” Flash said stammering his words out, Shining’s glare was now disappearing.
“If there is I do not want her to get hurt, is that clear?” Shining asked and Flash nodded vigorously before trotting away.
Shining continued walking around until he ran into two particular military ponies. “Stolen March, Lieutenant Eiling.” Shining greeted with a nod to the two infamous military ponies.
“Captain Armor.” Slade responded as he and Stolen March were sporting serious looks on their faces “I do hope you won’t be going soft.”
“Soft?” Shining asked with a shake of his head “I think I am fair.”
“You think the threats to Equestria will play ‘fair’ Captain Armor?” Slade asked with a humourless laugh “the soldiers of Equestria needs to be tough and strong, if the soldiers shows any softness then that will give the enemy plenty of opportunity to take them down and crush Equestria into the ground.”
“Thanks but I am not sure I should be taking advice from an officer who has been suspended multiple times for recklessness.” Shining and if Slade was offended his face didn’t show it. He just let out another humourless laugh.
“I do not see myself as reckless Captain Armor, even though those in authority including the Princess do not see if every action I take is to better protect Equestria.” Slade said and from his speech Shining was beginning to question this pony’s sanity “some ponies have called me a reckless wild card but I see myself as a visionary, my vision is of an Equestria protected by the toughest most capable soldiers anypony could imagine. Stay out of my way and you could be a part of my vision Captain Armor.”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night Lieutenant Eiling.” Shining responded with a confused look on his face as he trotted away. Slade and Stolen March began talking as Shining was leaving.
“I don’t think he took your speech too serious Slade.” Stolen March said looking worried “let’s face it ponies like him are too idealistic to think of the bigger picture.”
“Give him time March, he will have his chance to see what must be done.” Slade said in a reassuring voice a parent would give to their child if they were worried about not passing a test “He along with the rest of the Guard and Equestrian Military will have their chance to join our cause. If by then he still doesn’t join our cause, then it will be a shame but we will have to accept he had lost his place in our new order on Equestria.”
“I hope you’re right Slade.” Muttered Stolen March “otherwise Captain Armor could be leading the rebellion against our new order and he would prove to be a formidable threat against our vision.”
“No threat against our vision will survive Stolen March, we will make sure of it.” Slade told him sternly and Stolen March then nodded slightly. With that the two military ponies then left.

She was there, she had managed to fly to Canterlot the home of her new nemesis. The object of her upcoming glorious delicious sweet vengeance.
She smirked to herself thinking about the pain she would put on the unicorn. She will pay for denying her the revenge she sought against her former closest friend Lame-O Dash!
She would have to draw her out first so she can begin to fight her. She would cause enough havoc that she would have to respond.
This was going to be sweet!

In her home Sunset Shimmer was looking at The Unicorn’s Guide to dark spells a book on forbidden spells which had been outlawed in Equestria since the times of Starswirl the Bearded. She found one particular spells that may help with her quest to claim what was hers.
The Duplication Spell
This spell was created to be able to duplicate a certain spell or magical artefact. For example it could be used to duplicate a really strong spell so that the caster could be able to perform it as well. It was outlawed as if used to duplicate a pony, the ponies’ traits would be divided by the spell and it not put back together again the duplicate and the original could die within hours. This spell could be used for everyday items, sources of energy, magical artefacts as stated above and various spells.
She laughed, this spell could help her to take what was rightfully hers from that lavender unicorn her former mentor replaced her with.

In Ponyville at Sweet Apple Acres, Applejack was thinking of the week she head since Twilight went back to her home in Canterlot. Her left changed forever and she remembered how it started:
Applejack was selling apples on a family stand. Across from her a rival apple stand was being operated by two Pegasus ponies that were jeering and heckling her, saying they would drive her and her family out of business.
”Look it is one of those soon to be has-been apples!” one Pegasus said to the other. They then began laughing.
Soon Applejack snapped to the taunts and mocking laughter of the two ponies and she hit the ground with her hooves.
Suddenly the ground shook as if an earthquake hit, the two ponies landed on their stand ruining their merchandise. With shock looks of their faces the scampered from the area while Applejack was wondering what had happened.
Later that day other things started happening including she swearing that she could breath ice and shoot beams from her eyes. This culminated at the dinner table when she found to the shock of Applebloom and Big Macintosh she was floating in air. Granny Smith just shook her head and said “I knew something like this would happen, I have something I should have told you three a long time ago.....”

Later Twilight went up to the Princess Celestia’s room only to catch her doing something which involved dancing and a pole.
After an oath from the two of them nether to bring that incident up ever again Twilight began talking to her mentor.
“Princess, you think I will be ready to join this Green Lantern Corps?” asked Twilight earning a laugh from the Princess.
“Twilight, my faithful student.” Princess Celestia said looking down at Twilight using a motherly tone and smile “You have done good things since I have taken you under my wing. This challenge of being a part of this interplanetary Green Lantern Force I have no doubt you will be able to do good things in using that ring. I have faith in you Twilight, in that you will accomplish many more great things and you will not let me down.”
Twilight felt a little reassured and although she still had doubts, she looked up and said “thanks Princess, I think I needed that!”
Then rushed in was a panting Royal Guard who after catching his breath said “Princess some sort of monster griffon is wreaking havoc in the city! The closest guards are having little to no effect on the beast!”
The Princess looked concerned but Twilight looked ready. She then used a spell to take out her Green Lantern from a pocket vortex she had been storing it in. She then pointed her horn at it and recited the Green Lantern Oath (as during her week training on Oa she and the other cadets were told how to make their own pocket vortex for the Lanterns as they would be needed to recharge their rings by pointing the rings to the Lantern and reciting the Oath).
Twilight then transformed into her GL uniform. Before floating out of the room she said to Princess Celestia “Don’t worry Princess, with my Green Lantern Power Ring i think I can take this beast down!”
After Twilight left Princess Celestia softly muttered to herself “Twilight, please don’t let your confidence turn into arrogance as it did for Sunset and be your downfall as well.”

When Twilight floated down to the city she was shocked by what she was seeing. There were fired and destruction everywhere. There were Royal Guards injured on the ground. There were red liquid everywhere.
“What could have done this?” Twilight wondered in her head as she examined the liquid and it looked like blood to her.
Then suddenly she was thrown across to a nearby building as she left like a herd of buffaloes had charged at her back at once. She groaned as she got back up.
She then felt a pair of eagle claws grab her and started punching at her face. Then suddenly she felt like some creature was spitting blood at her. She was then thrown to the ground.
She got up and saw a red blur in the sky. It began spitting at her with blood and she managed to make a shield construct to protect herself but it wasn’t holding very well.
“What- what am I fighting>” Twilight was wondering as she felt her shield starting to crack “Wait Twilight remember the training you got on Oa, the power of the ring comes from your will and concentration! Concentrate Twilight!”
After focusing and concentrating her mind the shield suddenly began repairing it’s cracks and she slowly floated up to the red blur until she managed to knock it down to the ground with a construct of a giant fist.
Twilight floated down and saw to her shock the blur was a female griffon with a red version of her uniform (only with a different symbol and no domino mask) and it looked like it was drooling blood from its mouth.
It looked like something from a really terrifying bad nightmare. While totally different Twilight thought the griffon looked somehow different.
Twilight let out a gasp when she realised why it looked so familiar, it was from the wanted photo of the one who hired the pony thugs back in Ponyville. “Gi-Gilda?” Twilight asked scared.
Gilda managed to get up and smirked at her nemesis with a cruel wicked predatory smile. “I will destroy you and rip you to shreds – peace by peace!” Gilda roared t as she began to prepare for her next attack.
Twilight gulped and knew that while Nightmare Moon was tough this was a whole new league. This could very well be her first real challenge since joining the Green Lantern Corps.
She knew she was about to be in the fight for her life.
Twilight managed to at the last second dodge an attempt by Gilda to charge at her. Gilda roared in frustration as she tried again.
Twilight facing Gilda’s back after dodging that second attempt used a construct of a cannon sent Gilda to the ground. Levitating several rocks at once she used them to enclose Gilda in a rock prison but knew she it would not hold her for long.
Then suddenly Gilda broke out was now being fired at by several spells by reinforcements. Gilda grunted, they would have to finish it later.
Gilda then flew off before any Pegasus Guards could catch her. Suddenly Shining Armor arrived with Princess Cadence Shining’s marefriend and Twilight’s old foalsitter. Nurse ponies began showing up to help the injured and a cleaning crew came to wipe up all the blood.
“Twiley are you alright?” Cadence asked Twilight as she and Shining enveloped Twilight into a huge hug.
“I am........” Twilight managed to say before she was let go. Shining looked alarmed.
“How could that griffon become like that?” Shining asked when Twilight had a brainstorm.
“Maybe someone on Oa can help me........” Twilight realised her ring started glowing before Shining could ask what she was talking about “Green Lantern of Sector 2812 requesting advice.” said Twilight.
Then appeared from her horn was a green hologram of a Guard looking at Twilight with a fatherly smile. “How can Ganthet of the Guardians help you?” asked the Guardian called Ganthet as Shining and Cadence looked amazed..
“Well Mr Ganthet, Gilda a former friend of one of my friends has appeared causing havoc and she is wearing a red version of the GL uniform, she also seems to be spitting blood.” explained Twilight and then suddenly Ganthet looked alarmed.
“Oh dearly me, that’s not good, my dear it seems this ‘Gilda’ has been recruited by the Red Lantern Corps!” said Ganthet and Twilight looked surprised.
“Red Lantern Corps? What is that?” asked Twilight shocked at the fact there were apparently other Corps modelled after colors.
“Many eons ago before the Green Lantern Corps had been created, the Guardians made a very big mistake that cost over billion intelligent life forms their lives.” Ganthet said shaking his head sadly to the shock and horror of Twilight and the other three ponies with her “a survivor of this mistake called himself Atroctius and he used his rage and anger of losing everyone he ever knew to discover and master the Red Energy of Rage. He created his own Corps with their own rings to seek out those with rage in their hearts. Their rings draw on the wearer’s rings.”
“Powered by.......rage?” Cadence asked afraid as she was being comforted by her coltfriend, as a Love Alicorn she was against negative emotions like rage, fear and hatred which was why she used her magic to spread love whenever she could.
“Twilight’s new bosses have killed a billion creatures?” Shining muttered in disbelief.
“So Gilda has all the powers my Ring grants me.” Twilight muttered but then Ganthet smiled a little.
“That’s not the case as Red Lanterns cannot use Constructs.” Ganthet responded making Twilight confused.
“Why not?” Twilight asked wondering if something to do with rage was preventing them from using constructs.
“Let me explain.” Ganthet said before explaining “the Green Lanterns such as yourself have to use concentration in order to create and use their constructs. Red Lanterns have their thoughts clouded by nothing but rage and hatred, making them unable to have the concentration necessary to create a construct. The most they can do is spit blood to use as a weapon, the strength their rings give them and Red energy from their rings in order to fight.”
“That makes sense.” Twilight nodded her logical mind understanding Ganthet’s explanation “Any advice on how to beat them?”
“No Red Lantern has been beaten by the same strategy, they are unpredictable but I think the best course of action would be to overpower their rage with your will or get them to lose focus on their rage.” Ganthet replied “I would ask that you try and not remove Gilda’s ring though.”
“Why not?” ask Twilight looking confused on why taking away Gilda’s source of power would be a bad thing.
“Because when a user wields a Red Lantern Ring it replaces their blood so it can be used as a weapon and it becomes connected to their hearts, removing the ring could very well kill them.” Ganthet clarified to the horror of the three Equestrians.
“Th-thanks for your help Ganthet” Twilight said once she caught her breath earning a smile from Ganthet.
“Glad I could be of assistance and good luck with your next encounter with this Gilda!” Ganthet said before the hologram disappeared.
“Looks like we need to think of a plan to defeat Gilda without getting her ring off.” Twilight then before Cadence felt a light bulb switch on inside her head.
“I think I have an idea...” Cadence said a smile growing in her head.

Gilda was flying around looking for a place to hide. She felt a red blur fly past her. Outraged she flew as fast she could to the blur until he went to hide in a corner.
She then flew into it to come face to face with a smirking Stolen March. “Gilda of the Griffon Kingdom is it, the new Red Lantern?” Stolen March asked smirking causing Gilda to roar.
Gilda was about to pounce before Stolen March said “he- hea- hear me out for a second, I have a proposal!”
Gilda looked like she was at least going to listen. “I am an opportunist and a visionary.” Said Stolen March circling Gilda “I am a part of a master plan to change Equestria for the better. Join with us and we will be able to make it worth your while, what do you say?”
One minute later Gilda was flying away leaving Stolen March knocked out on the ground and covered in blood.
Then came Slade using a levitating spell to carry a bucket of water he used to wash Stolen March of the blood and then helped him out. “Lesson learnt March.” Slade said sternly to Stolen March in a tone of voice a teacher would give to a student who made a really stupid mistake “there is no use reasoning with those griffons, they are nothing more than just barbarians who exist solely for soldiers like us to vanquish to protect Equestria!”
“When I saw her fight that Green Lantern earlier I thought with those Red Lantern powers she could prove to be a usefully ally in our cause......” Stolen March muttered annoyed.
“We won’t need her anyway, when Shimmer is done mastering the spells she has learnt we will have the power to enact our master plan ourselves.” Slade said in reassuring tone of voice.

Granny Smith led Applebloom, Big Macintosh and Applejack to a shed that Granny Smith kept locked in all times. She opened up the lock using a key in her mouth and opened the door to reveal three rockets.
”Truth is I am not actually your grandma but your adopted mother.” Granny Smith muttered to the shocked looks of the three earth ponies.
”About a decade or so ago after my children left the farm to start up their own families I was running the farm with the help of mah friends.” Granny Smith explained “One night I found a rocket containing a young colt, I adopted him and passed Big Macintosh as mah grandson who has come to stay. Months later one night two rockets crashed and had a younger filly and an even younger one. I did the same to Applejack and Applebloom, luckily I had a friend in the town council to help falsify documents so nopony could get suspicious.”
the three ponies looked crestfallen and shocked beyond belief. “So what you are saying is that not only are you not really our granny but we are not even sibling?” Applejack asked bewildered and finding it hard to accept it “We are not actually Apples but aliens?”
”Listen here!” Granny Smith scolded “you are Apples, you just came from somepony else!”
”Yeah...” Applejack said looking up “Apples to the core:”
After the song they inspect the rockets and although all they had found in Big Macintosh’s was a symbol in Applebloom and Applejack’s rockets halves of a stone.
They put them both together and it revealed a hologram of an orange earth pony with a red mane and a red cloak. “Ap-El and Bloom-El, hello I may not be the real pony but I am the artificial intelligence of Jor-El to help you explain your roots.” Said the hologram and he then pointed to both Applebloom and Applejack.
“Hello my daughters – am Jor-El a leading scientist of the now deceased planet Coltron and i am your biological father!” said to the shock of the Apple sisters who now realised they at least were biologically related.
”You’re our pa?” asked Applebloom amazed at the hologram of the stallion and then it nodded.
”Let me explain.” Said Jor-El and the Apple family were watching “I was one of the leading scientists of the planet Coltron but I saw that our planet was doomed but unable to convince the Council to evacuate the planet. Me and my wife – you’re mother decided to save our daughters. We built two rockets to send you both into safety and ere designed so they would not fall behind.”
”I gave this so I could explain all this to you when you were ready.” Said Jor-El “Under the rays of the different sun than the one Coltron had you will develop extraordinary abilities as you grow later and due to the lower gravity that Coltron had. I know you will be able to use these powers wisely! Inside the rockets are suits made to help you and are designed to be one size fit all! Use this device if you need any help from now on.”
After the hologram disappeared Applebloom realised she would have to wait till she was older before getting cool powers.
”Sorry we have nothing on your birth folks Big Mac.” Applejack said sadly but Big Mac just smiled clearly not that affected it.
”Jor-El may be our birth pa but you raised us Granny Smith!” Applejack said as they shared a hug.
Minutes later Applejack was in the barn trying on the suit from her rocket. Her family was outside waiting on her when she finally stepped out.
”How do I look?” Applejack asked and her siblings (blood or otherwise) and granny (or technically adopted mother) smiled at her.
Ap-El or Applejack as she was known around Ponyville smiled to herself, as Supermare she began rescuing ponies from accidents since then in Ponyville, but she could not help but wonder who Big Mac’s biological family was.
She decided it didn’t matter; they were real family after all.

Later Gilda was flying about Canterlot trying to find Twilight. “WHERE IS THAT STUPID PONY?” Gilda roared out in frustration. She then saw a giant green construct of an arrow pointing down.
She followed it and when she got there, she was sent to the ground by a giant construct of a fly swatter. “Ready for round two?” asked Twilight with a smirk floating in air.
Gilda roared out, she was supposed to be humiliating the unicorn, not the other way round. She then flew up to Twilight and began trying to punch her but Twilight blocked it with the construct of a shield.
Gilda tried firing red energy from her ring, which Twilight blocked with her shield construct. “I WILL CRUSH THIS SHIELD AND DESTROY YOU!!!!!” Gilda roared out trying to pour more energy into the attempt.
“Wanna bet?” asked Twilight with a smirk as she managed to fly up and used a construct of a ball on a chance to hit Gilda’s cheek and knock her to the ground.
For good measure Twilight used constructs of a chain to tie Gilda up though it was clear she was trying to use her strength to break her out. “Now Cadence!” said Twilight as Shining and Cadence came out to put their plan into action.
Cadence went up to Gilda and immediately felt the rage in her heart which saddened her, she started using her strongest love spell to Gilda’s head. Usually when faced with two arguing ponies that were still in love, the spell would have made them forget the quarrel and remember why they love eachother.
But when used on an individual the spell would remind him or her of their fondest memories, giving them a state of piece in their mind.
Gilda’s thoughts of rage and destruction was mellowed out by the spell and replaced by thoughts of peace due to remembering her times at Junior Flight camp. Due to no longer having Gilda’s rage to power it her ring then suddenly lost its power and Gilda’s uniform disappeared.
“Your plan worked Cadence and nopony got hurt, this time!” Shining said pulling Twilight and Cadence into a hug as the Royal Guards began to take Gilda away and fitted her with goggles designed to fill the wearer’s mind with peace and prosperity, so Gilda would not try and use her powers to escape.
There were not any casualties in this rematch and a cleaning crew was dispatched to clean up what debris there were.

Twilight was talking to Ganthet’s hologram again, “I take it you managed to beat this Gilda?” asked Ganthet and Twilight nodded happily.
“Yes I did and Gilda has been taken to Arkham Asylum a place here in Equestria for insane residents, she will be in a place where the surrounding cell emits peace and love so she cannot try and use her powers to escape.” smiled Twilight.
“Very good Green Lantern of Sector 2812, be clear though there are many threats in the universe besides the Red Lantern Corps.” warned Ganthet but Twilight just laughed.
With my friends and family, I will be ready for them! responded Twilight confidently.
“That’s good to hear.” Smiled Ganthet, before the hologram disappeared.

Dear Princess Celestia,
Since getting this ring i think I have become a little too cocky, thinking I could take on threat with a wave of my ring. Since facing Gilda the Red Lantern Griffon, I realised I may not be able to defeat every threat on my own, I also realised I don’t think with the help of my new friends along with my family I won’t have to be alone and with their help I know I will be okay.

Sunset waited impatiently for her two allies to arrive with what she asked for. Soon Slade and Stolen March arrived with a giant manticore that was unconscious.
“We found this thing in the Everfree Forest all the way in Ponyville.” Slade explained while Stolen March tried catching his breath from the long journey that he just took.
“Excellent!” Sunset said her eyes showing an evil smirk as she started using a spell to brainwash the creature.
“This should draw Sparkle out!” Sunset grinned as the next stage of her plan would be starting.

Twilight in her Green Lantern uniform was patrolling the skies of Canterlot. “Nothing goin on here......... Twilight thought but as she spoke she noticed ponies running in terror.
Taking a closer looks she spied a giant manticore on a rampage. “Time to get into action” Twilight said to herself as she then flown down to face the manticore.
She was about to conjure up a construct when the monster hit her with a blow strong enough to send her to the ground.
“Has this thing been magically enhanced or something, it could not be this strong?” Twilight wondered as the manticore punched Twilight on the ground making her be in a temporary daze.
Sunset wearing a hooded cloak smiled from her hiding spot, her plan was going great with the manticore she had under mind control and magically enhanced knocked the unicorn to the ground, allowing her to go to the next stage of her plan.
She quickly went to Twilight’s slightly unconscious state and used the Duplication Spell on Twilight’s horn.
Seconds later the spell glowed bright yellow , then a bright yellow glowing orb of energy came out and attached itself to Sunset’s horn.
She then quickly fled, wanting to examine her new source of magic. Twilight managed to get up and thought she felt something but she decided it may not be important and what was important was that she tame and stop this manticore.
She then flew back into the air and after dodging some attacks from its claw used a giant construct of a butterfly net she engulfed the creature with it.
Quickly she decided to use her horn to emit a powerful spell to undo whatever magic had been used on it. Seconds later the manticore having been cured of the effects looked around confused.
Minutes later Twilight had her uniform disappear as the guards inspected the area, thankfully nopony got hurt and the manticore would be examined and then returned home to a forest.
She was wondering who could have enhanced a manticore like that and why?

Father away in space on the planet Oa Sinestro was talking to Tomar-Re. “So how about Agent Orange, any leads on his whereabouts?” Sinestro asked his fellow Green Lantern Corpsman.
“He lost us but sources have said that he was seen in Sector 2812.” Tomar said making Sinestro realise something.
“That is the Sector Twilight Sparkle is now patrolling, no need to worry then.” Sinestro said smiling which Tomar didn’t think suited him “Twilight Sparkle has one of the most disciplined minds that I have ever seen in a Green Lanterns, Agent Orange does not stand even a glimmer of a chance.”
“So unlike you to openly give out praise like that, Sinestro.” Tomar commented on “I don’t think you have praised the cadets under your wing like that either, especially that Green Lantern of Sector 2814.”
“I will give praise to Jordan only when he actually does something praiseworthy.” Sinestro shouted glaring at Tomar “comparing the two of them would be like comparing gold to a speck of dirt, I have no doubt Twilight on her worst day could easily mop the floor with Jordan on his best day in a second.”
“Now that is something I expect you to say, Sinestro.” Laughed Tomar “I thought for a second you had gone soft for a second.”
“Don’t ever accuse me of going soft ever again Tomar, if you want to see another day that is!” Sinestro warned before leaving to contact Twilight.

Sunset along with Stolen March and Slade were inspecting the yellow energy. “It seems to radiate the emotion fear.” Sunset said trying to figure out how to use the power she had duplicated from Twilight’s ring.
“What so you have to be scared to use this power?” Stolen March questioned before Slade had an idea.
“No, I think to use the ring you would have to invoke fear as a weapon, something that I very much approve of!” Slade said explaining his idea.
After examing it Sunset began practicing trying to use it. Suddenly the energy went into a rusty old lantern and then absorbed it transforming it into a glowing yellow version of Twilight’s power battery.
“it’s speaking to me.” said Sunset suddenly causing stares from her associates “saying I need to channel concentration to use its power and I need to create an oath to charge its power.”
Then suddenly a glowing yellow ring came out of the yellow power battery and attached itself to Sunset’s horn.
Suddenly Sunset’s horn was glowing bright yellow as a black and yellow uniform being appearing on her with her Cutie Mark as a symbol on the chest.
Ignoring the looks of awe on her two associates she then recited an oath (that she came up with in her head) to channel through her new power:

Twilight was in the courtyard when Flash Sentry walked up to her, “Hey Ms Sparkle, do you want to go out later.......as friends I mean.” Flash stammered.
“Sure no problem.” Twilight smiled “and another thing Flash.”
“What?” Flash asked before he left.
“You can call me Twilight.” Twilight answered and Flash nodded smiling before he left.
Then her ring started glowing and said THAAL SINESTRO GREEN LANTERN OF SECTOR 1417 REQUESTING CALL WITH TWILIGHT SPARKLE GREEN LANTERN OF SECTOR 2812!!!!
Twilight told her ring “put Sinestro on!” then the ring projected a green hologram of Sinestro.
“Sorry to disturb you Twilight but I have an urgent message for you.” Sinestro told her.
“What kind of message?” asked Twilight to one of her teachers from her week long training on Oa.
“A criminal known as Agent Orange was seen going to your sector.” Sinestro responded “he is a criminal as old as the Guardians themselves, he uses the Orange energy of Greed to help him in his greedy quest to own everything he sees.”
“So he is basically from an Orange Lantern Corps.” Twilight said thinking about what other Corps exists in outer space so she can be better prepared, but Sinestro shook his head.
“He is the Orange Corps’ only member.” Sinestro responded “he is so greedy he doesn’t want to share his powers with anyone else. The other so called members of the Corps are the constructs of those he has killed to serve as his minions.”
“Thanks Sinestro, I will keep an eye out on him.” Twilight said as the hologram ended. She realised she would have to start preparing for whatever this Agent Orange is capable of.

Spot, River and Fido were three diamond dogs that ran a gem mine outside Ponyville. They liked to kidnap nearby ponies to use as their slaves so they can get their gems without actually working.
Usually they would find a way to escape so their workers did not work for them for very long. They were taking a break when they saw a figure floating down to them.
“I am looking for new minions!!!” the figure cackled “You three will do nicely!”
The three Diamond Dogs then gulped.
Prelude to Orange (aka the author is running out of ideas for chapter titles!)
Twilight and Flash Sentry enjoyed a day out together in Canterlot. They went to see the Diamond Dogs of Baskerville at the Canterlot Theatre.
The movie was now over and they were now enjoying some donuts at Pony Joes.
“I had a rough day of training, before our date out.” Flash said looking like he was exhausted.
“It could not have been any harder than the week training I had to endure on Oa.” Twilight said with a chuckle as Flash shook his head.
“I assure you training today was tough........”
For the training session Shining Armor had the cadets dance to Black Lace’s Agadoo.
“Alright........” Twilight said with a look on her face as she heard an argument between two friends.
“I have been to Ponyville yesterday and I am telling you right now that Supermare is really Applejack!”
“Are you listening to yourself? Applejack wears a hat, Supermare doesn’t! Next thing you will be telling me is that Rarity is that Mare Do Well, or that the captain of the guards will believe a bad impersonator over his own sister!!!!!”
Twilight then put her attention to a couple that were speaking; she recognised them as friends of her parents. She actually caught what they were talking about “They are a cute couple, aren’t they!”
“I agree, Twiley is on a date with one of her brother’s cadets!”
“They think we are on a date.” Twilight whispered to Flash who then blushed.
“That’s crazy, this isn’t a date........” Flash responded before going in closer “is it?”
Twilight shook her head and after paying for the donuts they both left which was noticed by the couple. “Oh dear I hope we did not ruin Twilight’s date.” The wife said to her husband.
“Nonsense they are just taking it elsewhere, I have heard of two ponies who have just escaped from an island they had been trapped on for five years.”
“Really? Tell me more!”

In their hideout Sunset was in her new yellow uniform practicing the powers of her new ring with her two minions..........I mean henchponies...........I mean unpaid interns...........I mean allies.
“Incredible! I can create anything out of thought!” Sunset said excitedly managing to create several constructs “With this power I can take what rightfully belongs to me from Twilight Sparkle! I will change Equestria for the better!”
“And that is just one ring.” Slade grinned along with Stolen March “imagine an army of tough dedicated soldiers wielding these rings powered by fear! We can take control of the government of Equestria and then we will proceed with the necessary steps to destroy every threat of Equestria out there!”
The three co-conspirators shared a laugh.

In a secret cave outside of Equestria there was the Rock of Eternity. A place where events in Equestria were being recorded and there were statues of various historical figures.
Many years ago the spirit of Chaos and Disharmony, known as Discord ruled Equestria in a never ending state of despair, until he was defeated by Princesses Luna and Celestia using the newly discovered Elements of Harmony.
However instead of imprisoning him into stone they sent him to the Rock of Eternity, and they placed a curse on the Rock of Eternity preventing Discord from ever leaving so he would have to stay there for all of Eternity.
Right now Discord was bored out of his skull. “This is so boring.......” Discord muttered looking at what was happening in Equestria right now “I mean all is happening is set up for more entertaining events yet to come!”
“I mean if this was a story this would right now a chapter which the reader would have to grin and bear for a while until something actually happens!” Discord growled out “I guess I will have to wait.”
“You are the only one who truly listens to me.” Discord said sadly to the statute of Starswirl the Bearded “Unlike the statue of Atlas, he is such a pompous jerk!”
“Wait I see something......” Discord said looking at a particular screen “that time travelling Hunter is on the move again! I wonder what on Equestria is he doing?”

Planet Earth Sector 2814
“Jordan what are you doing?” Sinestro screamed to Hal Jordan who was in his apartment drinking beer and watching Television.
“I got nothing planned except for a Justice League meeting a date with Carol later so I am watching TV!” Hal said using a construct of a hand to pick up another beer can.
“Jordan you need to take your duties as a Green Lantern more seriously!” Sinestro fumed “otherwise your home will be destroyed by a cyborg causing you to go crazy!”
“Yeah right Sinestro.” Laughed Hal “and maybe you will become my greatest enemy and I will get infected with a yellow space bug! Get real Sinestro, we are in no danger of anything like that from happening!”
Sinestro fumed at Hal, “if only every other of my students are like Twilight Sparkle!” he thought bitterly in his head.

Twilight in her Green Lantern Uniform was flying off to a Canterlot bank, her ring detecting a disturbance there.
She saw to her shock many gold coins on the ground, the bank wall was broken and floating in air was an orange alien creature in an orange and black uniform.
Not only that but he had with them constructs of Fido, Rover and Spot the diamond dogs he had ‘taken care off’ and used their spirits to join his Orange Lantern Corps in construct form.
“I am Larfleeze or as some call me Agent Orange!” the creature smirked looking at Twilight “All this is MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE, MINE! I WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE ALL THIS GOLD FROM ME GREEN LANTERN!”
“So this is the Agent Orange that Sinestro warned me about, no worry I am ready!” Twilight said with a serious and ready look on her face.
Slade and Stolen March were in their hideout looking at pictures at possible recruits for their cause. With Sunset’s new ring they planned to create an organisation powered by fear that would know how to best protect Equestria.
“How this Pegasus, Lightning Dust?” asked Stolen march showing his ally a photograph “it says here she is training for the Wonderbolts but her demonstrations have been criticized for being too dangerous!”
“Possibly.” Answered Slade looking at more photographs “I think we will need some firepower! I know the thing!”
“What do you mean?” Stolen March asked with his shoulders shrugged, Slade looked at him shaking his head as if he was dealing with a slow child.
“What i mean is that I know where the guard keeps the remnants of Nightmare Moon’s armour and I was on a stake out outside Equestria last month when I discovered something.” Slade explained “Something that can help us with our plans!”
“What did you find Slade?” asked Stolen March curiously and Slade faced him smirking.
“I found the body of King Sombra!!!”

Twilight was slightly unnerved by the sight of Larfleeze and his Diamond Dogs constructs. None the less she felt she had to bring him down.
The Orange Diamond dogs charged Twilight but she dodged them and she decided to conjure up a sword construct to fight them. The Rover dodged an attack while Fido hit Twilight from behind.
“Time to get creative Twilight!!!” thought Twilight in her head as he created a green construct of a dog catcher net.
“This sucks.....” Spot muttered as Larfleeze looked angrily at his captured minions.
“Time for you to get taken down Larfleeze![/color!]” Twilight shouted as Larfleeze dropped the bags of gold he was holding in order to battle this annoying pest.
Larfleeze created a construct of a bazooka and began firing at Twilight which she dodged. She used her horn to create to create a purple dome around her (despite having her ring there was no reason for her magical training to go to waste).
The shots from the bazooka hit the dome and bounced right back at Larfleeze who just barely dodged it. Twilight dropped the dome as she came charging at Larfleeze with a construct of a ball and chain.
But then she was sent back by a yellow light. She then saw to her shock Sunset Shimmer wearing her new Yellow Lantern uniform.
“Sunset Shimmer!” Twilight realised wondering where she had got yellow ring. She remembered Princess Celestia telling her about Sunset.
She then remembered something – her Rings as showed in her training did not work on Yellow, if she was here to cause trouble it would be difficult to take her down.
“With my ring powered by fear, I will make sure Celestia regrets replacing me with a lower life form like you Sparkle!” Sunset said smirking as she had constructs of wings and a crown on her head, making her look like an allicorn princess.
“How did you get that ring?” asked Twilight with a glare wondering if Sunset had been chosen by a Yellow Lantern Corps.
“How did I get this you are asking?” Sunset laughed looking down at Twilight “When you were dealing with my manticore that other day I sneaked behind you and casted a spell to duplicate your magic ring and it gave me the Yellow Energy of Fear to create my own!”
“YOU’RE MANTICORE?” asked Twilight shocked and angry. Sunset let out another laugh.
“Yes the Manticore I enhanced and put under mind control” Sunset said her smirk growing at every second “I sent it so I could create my own ring, stronger and superior to yours in everyway!”
Sunset caused the manticore incident, Twilight knew now Sunset was now a criminal that must be stopped. Suddenly she remembered the foe she was fighting previously.
“The honour of killing the Green Lantern is mine, not yours!” Larfleeze roared out as he had Rover, Spot and Fido (who had escaped when Twilight’s net construct disappeared) attack Sunset and Twilight.
Sunset sent several blasts at Fido while Twilight with a construct of liquid spray managed to drive Rover and Spot away.
Larfleeze blasted a green building behind Sunset and she smirked as she encased herself in a yellow dome – which the green debris passed through as if the dome was never there!
Twilight then realised something, if her ring could not affect yellow that means Sunset’s must not work on green.
She now had a way to beat her.

In their hideout Stolen March and Slade worked together to put the body of King Sombra on a table.
Slade was merging him with some of his magic and the pieces of Nightmare Moon’s armour. “With the spell I am putting on him when King Sombra awakes he will be completely under our power!” Slade laughed while smirking.
“Sombra was known for the fear he put on the Crystal Ponies.” Smirked Stolen March as well “with Sombra on our side our army will be unstoppable!”

Twilight it was best to wait until Larfleeze and Sunset exhausted eachother then she would put the plan she came up with into action.
“I will crush you and the Green Lantern into pieces and then I will take everything that I see!” Larfleeze roared sending the Diamond Dogs after Sunset.
“I will not be defeated by the likes of you!!!!!!” Sunset shouted out in fury as she blasted at Larfleeze causing him to flee with his minions.
Twilight saw her chance and put Sunset in a glowing green orb. Sunset tried to use her horn to break through it to no avail.
“So my theory is correct, Sunset’s ring is useless against green as mine is against yellow!” Twilight though she discovered the flaw in her plan as Sunset tried to physically break through the orb as her uniform was yellow.
“This isn’t over! I will come back and finish the job!!!!” Sunset said as she blinded Twilight with a flash of her ring and used a teleportation spell to escape.
Sunset had escape, Twilight realised when she could see clearly again. She would have to catch her next time.

Sunset entered the hideout and it had taken so much energy from her ring to blind Twilight that the power had run out and she was left without her uniform.
“So you failed due to her little skill with the new ring.” Stolen March asked with a shake of his head.
“Are you saying I am unworthy of the new power I possess?” Sunset asked angrily to Stolen March’s face making him cower a bit.
“What Stolen March means is that you were defeated by your little training and lack of experience, with more training you will be able to defeat that so called Green Lantern.” Slade said and Sunset seemed satisfied because she stopped glaring at Stolen March a second before he would have had to go to the bathroom right there.
“Yes soon we will have recruits to train to use this new power as well!” Slade said with a laugh.

Luna’s night was just beginning and in her room Twilight received a call from her ring. She answered it and paused:
There was an incident going on at Arkham Asylum and the prisoners were being let loose? She would have to deal with that right now as it seemed her duties as Green Lantern did not limit herself to the daytime.

A guard at Arkham over the alarm was cowering behind the dark smile of a unicorn that was holding him by his collar. The unicorn let out a dark chuckle followed by a little statement:
“Now, let’s put a smile on that face!!!”
Arkham Asylum (not as exciting as the game) part 1
In the dark of Luna’s night Twilight managed to fly to the hill that overlooked Arkham Asylum about half an hour after getting the message, Equestria’s prison for mentally sick. “Guess it will be up to me to help stop this riot.......” Twilight said about to fly to Arkham......
“A long way from Canterlot, aren’t you?” a dark voice whispered and Twilight turned around to see a unicorn dressed in a strange purple costume.
Twilight thought she saw the strange looking unicorn from a newspaper or something but decided to ask, “Who are you?” Twilight asked ready on her guard.
“Who am I Ms Green Lantern?” the mare asked Twilight in the same dark voice “I am the reason the criminals of Ponyville rest easier when Celestia’s sun dawns, I am the terror that protects Ponyville during the night, I haunt the nightmares of every pony who has ever committed a crime in Ponyville, I am the creature parents warn their foals before they go to bed and I am the vengeful spirit of justice! I am Mare Do Well!”
“Wait you are that vigilante that started appearing a year ago!” Twilight remembered the story in the paper a year ago when she first show up “The one who dresses up like a bat!”
“NEVER CALL ME A BAT AGAIN!” Mare Do Well said getting up in Twilight’s face ”and I suppose you are here to help quell this riot, fine but remember you are doing this my way.”
“Why should I listen to some vigilante?” Twilight asked annoyed as she followed Mare Do Well to the entrance of Arkham.
“Coming from a vigilante yourself?” Mare Do Well asked with amusement in her voice.
“That’s different! This ring means I am an intergalactic police officer!” Twilight stammered.
“...........Whatever you say.” Mare Do Well said rolling her eyes behind her mask a bit.
“IT’S TRUE!!!!!!!!” Twilight pretty much shouted with a huff.

In the main hall of the Asylum a unicorn pony wearing an orange jumpsuit with white make up, his mane was painted green and a red smile painted on his face was facing the inmates.
“Criminals and degenerates of Ponyville tonight not only will we gain control of Arkham but we will take back control of Equestria!” cackled the pony to the inmates “we will take Ponyville back under our control! I have heard that Mare Do Well is here in the asylum from an informant with that purple unicorn with the green mane. Whoever brings me their dead bodies will have the honour of being my new right hand pony! Now go the Cackler has spoke..........HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!”
The inmates then charged out of the hall.

Twilight was using a construct fist to knock out the inmates coming her way while Mare Do Well was using her boomerangs, bolas and her own hooves to knock them out.
While they were doing this they were also helped tied up prison guards who thanked them and helped take care of the beaten inmates.
“They really seem to have it in for you.” Twilight commented as she knocked out more inmates.
“Most of them are in here because of me.” Mare Do Well replied in a deadpan sort of voice.
They came across a cell containing a large locked up minotaur. “Who is this and why isn’t he out?” Twilight asked as she then used a construct of a hand to scratch her head.
“Bane an assassin that I have personal history with, my guess is that he is so locked up that none of the inmates knows how to release him.” Mare Do Well responded as they continued their way down the prison.
They came across a yellow unicorn wearing a hat stolen from a guard and using his magic to hold a shotgun he had stolen from the same guard.
“I will make you pay Mare Do Well for making me lose my badge and causing me to be locked up in here!!!” the unicorn shouted with a crazed look on his face.
“Branden....” Mare Do Well said with a sigh recognising the crazed looking unicorn.
“Who is this Branden?” Twilight questioned as she let up a green shield to cause the bullets Branden was firing at them, back at him knocking him out.
Mare Do Well used a bola to tie his legs up and responded “he used to be captain of Ponyville’ SWAT and had been corrupt and known to use excessive force in his duties. I had him sent here after he tried to collect a bounty on my head. Come now I know where the evidence locker is, we may have to get there to make sure none of the criminals have reclaimed their stuff!”
Minutes after a yellow construct of a sword cut the bola opened allowing Branden to go free. He was then taken by the collar to face Sunset who having recharged her ring was in her Yellow Lantern uniform again.
“Me and my associates out of these degenerates have decided your are the most qualified to join our cause, either you come and work for us or you stay and rot in here understood punk?” Sunset asked with Branded cowering under her gaze and nodded vigorously.

A criminal had gone into a cell where Gilda in her Red Lantern uniform was attached to a table with a device on her head channelling the love magic into her mind and making sure she was in a state of hibernation.
The criminal decided he used use the griffon as his own personal thug. Removing the device from Gilda’s head her eyes opened.
The criminal would later be found covered in blood unconscious on the floor as a hall on the wall would be there.

The Cackler was in the office of the warden. On the floor he had in red paint written “CACKLER’S” over the word ‘WARDEN’.
“Ah I miss my dear sweet Upper Crust, I do miss her and hope she can rejoin my empire...” Cackler said swinging about on the Warden’s chair like a foal.
“Oh well.....” the Cackler said once he stopped spinning. Then entered a inmate facing the Cackler.
“Any news from the colts about our intruders?” asked Cackler with a jolly face as he was enjoying his game on the Warden’s chair. The inmate looked scared for a moment.
“The colts are all after Mare Do Well and the Lantern but so far nopony is successful....” said the pony fearfully choosing his next words carefully “but Croc is all chained up and ready in the fighting arena you told us to set up!”
“Excellent, you may leave.” the Cackler laughed as the pony bowed and then left, grateful he had managed to go through the meeting with his life.
Cackler thought to himself and decided that Mare Do Well and that ring wearing unicorn must now know their place and know who is in charge now.
He then stopped and turned on the intercom, this was going to be sweet.

Twilight and Mare Do Well had gotten to the Arkham storage area. “Everything seems to be here except...........” Mare Do well stated before pausing “Something’s not right!”
“What’s not right?” asked Twilight facing Mare Do Well while she was guarding the door.
“Everyone’s equipment is here except for Firefly’s stuff.” answered Mare Do Well.
“Who is Firefly?” Twilight asked wondering if it was some supervillain like the ones she had to deal with for the past almost week.
“Firefly is a crazed mercenary who goes around flying in body armour and using a flamethrower to cause chaos and anarchy.” Mare Do Well explained “We have to make sure he is stopped before he gets out!”
They then went out of the room and then locked it back up to make sure nopony else could break in. Then came a voice on the intercom.
”Ding dong, testing, five, four, three, two ,one, Mare Do Well, can you hear me from there?”
“Cackler!!!” Mare Do Well with an edge in his voice, Twilight remembered that the Cackler was a crazed criminal that faced Mare Do Well before and had once been the famous Canterlot noble who moved to Ponyville and went insane due to an accident.
You do hear me Mare Do Well, is you can you say hi to Lantern for me?
“What are you up to?” Twilight asked on the edge, she understood this Cackler would be dangerous.
“All I want is freedom, freedom to spread my wonderful chaos all around Ponyville and maybe see my darling wife Upper Crust again!”
“You are going back in your cell where you belong!” Mare Do Well roared out and they both then heard the Cackler’s laugh throughout the intercom.
“I will gladly go back to my cell, provided you force me back there of course. To do that you must go through my new bestest friends in the whole of Equestria Firefly and Croc!”
“You release Killer Croc?” Mare Do Well roared out and then the chuckle of Cackler was heard.
“I did and he is anxious to see you again! Ta-ta for now!”
After the intercom was switched off Mare Do Well rushed to an elevator and went in with Twilight using the speed of flight her ring grants her in order to catch up.
“Who is this Killer Croc that Cackler mentioned?” Twilight asked thinking she had to be prepared for anything.
Mare Do Well gave her a look and said “You will see for yourself soon enough!”
Arkham Asylum (not as exciting as the game) part 2
After taking the elevator they entered a large area where most of the things were on fire. There was a figure in the air shouting “Remember me Mare Do Well? The Cackler will help me accomplish great things once I get rid of you!”
“Is that Firefly?” Twilight asked facing Mare Do Well and she only nodded. They turned their attention to the cackling insane criminal that was Firefly.
He was covered from head to toe and wings in black armour except for his head where he wore a black full face mask and an orange visor. He had attached to his back next to each of his wings, a flamethrower.
“Distract him so I can enact the plan I came up with!” Mare DO Well told Twilight and she nodded.
She went up in the air and put a dome around her which absorbed the fire that Firefly was throwing at her. “You can’t hide in there forever!” Firefly cackled madly as Twilight just waited patiently thinking if Mare Do Well doesn’t do something do she will just punch the Pegasus out with a construct.
Mare Do Well managed to aim an electric bola to Firefly’s flamethrowers which managed to take them out.
By the time Firefly noticed his weapons were not working Twilight broke her dome and took Firefly out with a construct of a fist.
Mare Do Well after Firefly landed used a spell to destroy the circuitry on the back of Firefly’s armour and used a spell to pull his mask off to show an unconscious blonde maned and lilac furred Pegasus.
“I think we damaged his suit enough he won’t be able to use them again, come on let’s go!” Mare Do Well told Twilight and they kept trotting throw the hall and to an elevator shaft.
They noticed an army of inmates coming towards them, Twilight looked at the elevator and said “The elevator is broken but I think I can use my ring to make it work!”
“Do it!” Mare Do Well said after using bolas to tie up the inmates that came the closest to the shaft.
Twilight used a construct of a bubble to cover the elevator with her and Mare Do Well in it and it rose up until it got to the top floor, before any of the inmates could get inside.
Mare Do Well managed to leave a magical bomb which activated after they went up off the ground and knocked the inmates out cold for when the guards reclaimed the place.
*Break*
They got to the top floor of the prison and went through the hallways. After ten minutes they entered a large arena full of inmates.
Twilight using a construct of a fist managed to knock out the inmates that came her way while Mare Do Well used her bolas and boomerangs to knock out the inmates coming her way.
Twilight then realised the room was almost yellow so she could not use her ring to try and break the room. Then they saw behind a glass door was the Cackler.
Twilight gasped as she recognised the pony as Canterlot Noble who moved to Ponyville with his wife Jet Set only his mane was painted green and his face was wearing make up to look like a clown. He was also wearing a white suit he managed to sneak into his cell and changed into after taking over Arkham.
He also had with him a tied up black unicorn who was the warden of Arkham Orderly Law. Cackler smiled looking at the two heroes in his arena.
“Well if it isn’t Mare Do Well and the Green Loontern, having beaten up my friends who came to play!” laughed the Cackler into a magical microphone, broadcasting what he was saying to the entire arena.
“Let Warden Law go, Cackler!” Mare Do Well shouted at the glass wall Cackler was behind.
“I will if you beat my friend Croccy.” Cackler laughed as door opened and Twilight had her jaw drop at the sight of what was entering.
It looked like an Earth pony at least twice the size of her brother Shining Armour, it had dark green dragon like scales, razor sharp teeth, shackles attached to its hooves and orange prisoner pants. “Killer Croc, an old Ponyville fable which was proven to be true!” Mare Do Well explained darkly “they say he was an earth pony who was born like this, abandoned due to his appearance and left to be raised in the sewer of Ponyville!”
Twilight then thought of something and whispered something to Mare Do Well. “I guess that could work!” Mare Do Well responded with a nod of her head.
Twilight used a construct of a machine while enclosed in a green bubble. Mare Do Well faced Killer Croc as the creature charged at her.
Mare Do Well managed to dodge Killer Croc using her agility but Killer Croc managed to get a lucky punch in. He then started punching at Mare DO Well until she managed to block and get up.
She then started punching Killer Croc’s face with her martial arts moves. She then allowed Killer Croc to chase her in circles for about ten minutes until he was getting tired. Mare Do Well then fired four electric bolas which each shocked Killer Croc’s hooves.
She then took the distract and with a well aimed jumping kick managed to knock Killer Croc Out. “Surrender Cackler, you have lost!” Mare Do Well ordered.
“I think not Mare Neigh-Doer!” laughed Cackler as insanely as ever “You may have beaten Croccy but I still got Arkham under my control!”
“Actually no you haven’t!” grinned Twilight having dropped her protective bubble and got rid of the construct machine she had. “While Mare Do Well was fighting Killer Croc I was using that construct machine to hack into the defences of Arkham allowing the backup Royal Guards to come inside and recapture the prison!”
Cackler’s smile disappeared in an instant as he rushed up a plight of stairs to the warden’s office, he saw to his horror that Twilight was not lying; the security monitors showed police ponies and royal guards running through the prison helping the captured and unconscious prison guards while recapturing the inmates who were still conscious.
He then turned and saw Mare Do Well, an untied Orderly Justice and an army of law ponies having gone through the door Killer Croc came through.
Cackler smiled a weak and unsure of himself smile before being knocked out with one punch from Mare Do Well’s hoove.
*Break*
It took no time at all for the Guards to take the prisoners including the Cackler back to their cells and trying to put things back to normal. Mare Do Well was with Twilight on the same cliff they were before entering Arkham.
“You did good helping me take back Arkham Lantern.” Mare Do Well told Twilight with a stern voice “but leave Ponyville at night to me!”
“I will and I think I may have to get home soon anyway before it gets too dark and get some sleep, I may see you again soon...........Rarity!” Twilight said smiling.
Mare Do Well stammered for a second and realising Twilight would not be fooled by any excuse she tried to give sighed as she used her horn to remove her hat and mask to reveal a white furred and purple maned unicorn.
“How did you figure it out darling?” Rarity asked using her normal voice as Twilight laughed.
“I recognised traces of your real voice when you spoke as Mare Do Well, don’t worry Rarity your secret is safe with me!” Twilight responded as Rarity gave her an appreciative smile.
Twilight said her last goodbye as she flew off back to Canterlot as Rarity put her mask and hat back on as she left to continue patrolling Ponyville.
That night while Twilight was in Arkham with Mare Do Well. A light blue unicorn with a lighter blue mane was looking around Canterlot. She had a dark blue suit (which had a collar) with an upside down yellow triangle on it with a dark blue star logo on it; yellow gauntlets attached to her upper hooves, a golden technological ring on her horn and she was wearing yellow goggles.
Floating above her was a gold robotic device in the shape of Parasprite, “Skeets so did the Hunter send us to the right time?” Trixie asked looking around “we just got her less than an hour ago and I want to make sure we know where we are!”
“My calculations show we are now in Canterlot during the first year of your mother’s career as the Green Lantern, Trixie.” explained the robot Skeets to Trixie “Right now your mother is in Arkham Asylum in her first meeting with Mare Do Well.”
“So I will be able to make my first appearance when she is on that mission later.” Said Trixie looking serious and determined “So when she gets back she will see i have been helping keep Canterlot safe for her!”
“be careful about what you decide to change, Trixie!” warned Skeets in trying to sound stern.
“I know what I am doing Skeets, trust me on this.” laughed Trixie with a cocky smile on her face “I am the current leader of the Super Friends of Equestria, aren’t I not?”
“Considering the Super Friends of Equestria do not exist yet, no you are not.” replied Skeets causing Trixie to glare at him.
“Nopony likes a smart flank robot Skeets!” Trixie said with a huff and Skeets gave the closest thing to a sigh it could give.
*Break*
Sinestro was thinking about which Green Lanterns to come with him on a mission the Guardians have put him on. He was thinking about may one he had trained.
Definitely not the Lantern of Sector 2814 Jordan who was reckless, irresponsible and a total idiot. He decided that the best option would be Twilight Sparkle who had the most focused mind of any cadet that he had trained.
*Break*
The next day Twilight slept for an extra two hours, she sighed as she go up and out of bed. “Morning Spike!” Twilight told Spike who was working on something.
“What are you working on Spike?” Twilight asked curiously, Spike then looked up at Twilight.
“I am hoping to send a love note to Rarity, that fashion pony we met in Ponyville.” Spike responded and Twilight remembered she had met her again the night before “I hope this appeals to her, I don’t think she would like anything that isn’t fashionable or nice!”
Twilight laughed on the inside, if only Spike knew her crush spent her nights as a tough masked vigilante.
She wondered how her new friend and ally was spending her morning.
*break*
Rarity woke up for the four hours of the day she reserved for sleep, she went down to the Mare Do Well Cave a hideout where she placed her Mare Do Well suits, gadgets, crime fighting equipment and training equipment.
She went down to find her sister Sweetie Belle in a black eye mask, a full body red suit with a black circle and letters that said in yellow ‘FBG’, yellow belt, yellow boots and a black cape.
“Sweetie Belle what are you doing here?” asked Rarity shaking her head at whatever plan her sister was doing this time.
“Getting my outfit ready for tonight!” Sweetie Belle replied with a smile, had Rarity been drinking anything she would have done a spit take.
“Pardon?” Rarity asked shocked beyond belief.
“Remember yesterday you said I was doing so good in the martial arts training you have been giving me for the past six months that you would take me with you on patrol tonight to see how it is done!” Sweetie Belle sounding really excited.
“I did say that, didn’t it...............” Rarity muttered while their servant and long time family friend Alfalfa was watching this with a smile.
“I can be called Filly-Be-Goode!” Sweetie Belle said excitedly “I might even get my Cutie Mark in crime fighting!”

Twilight then suddenly heard her door knocking and answered it to find the guard in training Flash Sentry. “Hey Flash!” greeted Twilight as she let Flash in.
“Twilight, do you want to go out again sometime?” Flash asked nervously “not as a date but as friends again......”
“Sure Flash I love to!” Twilight responded with a smile and Flash left satisfied with himself.
Then the ring on Twilight’s horn started glowing and then it said to her “TWILIGHT SPARKLE GREEN LANTERN OF SECTOR 2812, YOU ARE NEEDED ON OA FOR A MISSION!!”
“I am needed on a mission?” Twilight asked shocked as she transformed into her Green Lantern uniform and then started flying to Oa.

Sunset was in her hideout practicing using her ring while Slade and Stolen March were busy training possible recruits for their plan using harsh training sessions the Military would not let Slade use on cadets for the Military and Guard.
There were also other they considered recruit ing such as Lightning Dust and Shining Armor, but not until they could be sure they would be willing to fight for their cause.
“I want to you all put all of your might and concentration into it!” Slade roared to the cadets as he had them dodge and tackle the constructs Sunset was creating for them to fight.
“Soon they will be ready for our new group!” Sunset said smiling with an evil laugh “Soon my Sunset Corps will be ready!”
“And Equestria will have a military force it needs to be kept safe!” Slade said with a big smirk.
“We will also need to make sure they have the mind to use a ring like that Sunset!” Stolen March told Sunset and she nodded in agreement.
“We will have the soldiers ready for our cause!” Sunset said with a smirk like Slade’s but with more arrogance to it.
*Break*
Twilight landed on Oa and stared a little afraid up at the huge figure of the GL’s chief drill instructor Kilowog. “Sinestro wants your help for a mission, you little Poozer!”
Twilight followed Kilowog into a building thinking “Sinestro wants my help for a mission?”
Twilight was now in a room with Sinestro and a robot Green Lantern, a strange green creature Green Lantern and a Green Lantern who seemed like a grey rock creature.
“Let’s go over some introductions.” Sinestro told the four of them sternly “I am Thaal Sinestro Green Lantern of Sector 1417 and I have personally selected you four for a five Lantern mission!”
He then pointed to the rock creature and said “you may know him as Hannu the Green Lantern of Sector 2, a creature so tough he believes he doesn’t need his ring to fight evil!”
“He is a Green Lantern who feels he doesn’t need his ring? That’s cool!” Twilight thought excitedly.
“This is Green Lantern of 2812, Green Man the Green Lantern from the planet Uxor a civilisation that frowns upon individuality and showed great courage in choosing to be different!” Sinestro said pointing to the green creature.
A civilisation that decides all should be the same, Twilight made a mental note to see if she can study Green Man’s race later.
“Green Lantern of Sector 3009, Stel a robotic creature that can reattach himself if badly damaged!” Sinestro said pointing to the robotic creature.
“And finally the top graduate from the last time I had the duty of training Green Lantern recruits: the Green Lantern of Sector 2812: Twilight Sparkle from Equestria a world where exists a form of energy the inhabitants call ‘Magic’!”
Twilight was deep in thought and shock, did Sinestro say she was the top graduate in her Green Lantern training? Well she was always a model student.
“I need your help on a mission to bring down a space pirate called Kanjar-Ro who has allied himself with the Manhunters.” Sinestro told them and while the other Lanterns looked around Twilight just looked confused.
“Yes Twilight?” Sinestro asked seeing that Twilight had her hoove up.
“What are these Manhunters?” Twilight asked to shocked looks from the other Lanterns except for Sinestro.
“You know of the Red Lanterns as the Guardian Ganthet told me you face against one, did you not?” asked Sinestro and Twilight nodded “It is the fault of the Manhunters, that the Red Lantern Corps exist. The Guardians had a group of robots called the Manhunters to be their peacekeeping force before the Green Lantern Corps before they went renegade on a sector, Atroctius was a survivor of the massacre the Manhunters caused and in his rage he created the Red Lantern Corps!”
Twilight felt disturbed by this as Sinestro asked “So are you in on this mission?”
“I’m in! said Stel in a robotic voice.
“Me too!” Green Man then grinned excitedly.
“You can count me in as well!” Hannu said as it looked like he was shadow boxing by the wall.
Twilight looked at the other Lanterns and sighed, “I guess you can count me in as well.”
“Excellent so we had better be off!” Sinestro told the group with a smile.

In Canterlot all things seemed fine, until.........
A horde of hydras had gotten lost from the nearest forest and were attacking the Canterlot. The ponies were running around in terror as the Royal Guard came in to try and contain the beasts.
Suddenly one of the heads of a Hydra was blasted by gold energy. The civilians looked around to see where it came from.
Suddenly Trixie had came flying into view using the golden ring on her horn which enabled her to fly.
“I am here to help you all!!” Trixie said looking at the Canterlot civilians looking at her.
*break*
In a secret hideout deep in outer space there was a humanoid creature with pink skin, a squid like face with yellow pupilless eyes, a dark blue suit and a white cape. He was holding a rod and facing several incredibly large red and silver androids.
“Okay it won’t be long before those intergalactic cops called the Green Lantern Corps come after me and the loot that I have taken!” the being called Kanjar-Ro told the androids “that is where you come in, I have found and reactivated you all so you can take care of any Green Lanterns that try and come after me! Is that Understood?”
The Androids gave a slight nod as they gave a salute with their arms. Then after that they each lifted their left arms up in the air and in unison the spoke out loud their sacred creed:
Wielding his yellow gadget rod Kanjar-Ro smiled as sat on the throne of his hideout which was surrounded by many gold coins and jewels, he was truly the greatest pirate of the universe. Not even that so called Agent Orange could measure to him.
He had been looking for a place to stash his recent ill gotten gains recently, when he discovered this place and managed to reactivate a squad of Manhunters stationed there.
With them at his command he will find a way to stop being a pirate and then go on to become a warlord! He will be the scourge of the universe.
He then noticed on a monitor a Green Lantern ship coming towards his hideout, snarling he told the Alpha of the Manhunter squad to send a drone of Manhunters after them.
“WE WILL INDEED!” the Alpha Manhunter said as he sent his squad of Manhunters after them “BUT YOUR SERVICES ARE NO LONG REQUIRED!”
“Huh?” Kanjar-Ro said nervously and afraid as the Manhunters were pointing their blaster hands to him “but – but – but I released you!!!”
“THAT GIVES YOU POWER OVER US?” the Alpha Manhunter questioned the cowardly pirate “THE MANHUNTERS WILL CREATE ORDER BY DESTROYING ALL LIFE, WE WILL FINISH WHAT WE STARTED ON SECTOR 666!!!!!”
Kanjar-Ro then fled as the Alpha Manhunter said “WE WILL DEAL WITH THAT LIFEFORM LATER AFTER WE DESTROY THE SPECIEMENS THE GUARDIANS HAVE REPLACED US WITH!!!”
*Break*
Trixie was satisfied as she had just defeated the hydras that had came to Canterlot. “Fear not Canterlot, I your newest superhero has now saved you all!” Trixie said to the civilians who were thinking if she was a glory hound after the fame of the superheroes that have been popping up.
“Who are you?” asked a small foal, Trixie smiled at it.
“My name is Trixie.....no Gold...” Trixie said after accidentally using her first name, she then stammered a bit. She could not continue before a pony in the crowd shouted.
“Thanks for the help Trixie Gold!” and some of the ponies managed to nod before leaving. Trixie was angry at herself as the Guards began taking the hydra away.
“Back in our timeline you used to be Goldstar but thanks to a slip of your tongue Trixie, looks like your new codename will be Trixie Gold...” Skeets said, Trixie shook her head at her little floating robot sidekick.
“A little mistake I know but I can’t dawdle on that.” Trixie said looking determined “the Hunter sent me back here to help my mother in her battles and to stop any time travelling villains after that! Trixie Gold the hero the future knew as Goldstar will protect this past to ensure our future!!!”
*Break*
The five Green lanterns team were seated in a cruiser spaceship that the Green Lantern Corps used in missions with more than one Lantern. Sinestro was piloting it with the four Lanterns behind him.
“We should be reaching Kanjar Ro’s location soon.” Sinestro said looking at the coordinates he ‘persuaded’ a crooked informant to give to him.
“You told me about the Manhunters but what about this Kanjar-Ro?”Twilight asked interested in learning what she can about other worlds.
“A wanted space pirate who while greedy for anything that he gets his hands on is a total cowardly idiot who is after any source of power that can help him regardless of if he can control it or not!” Sinestro muttered “his stupidity has allowed him to release the Manhunters thinking he can control them!”
Then they felt the ship being blasted, looking out the window they saw a group of Manhunter robots. “Those are Manhunters?” Twilight questioned thought she already knew the answer.
“They are indeed, will you please take the controls and go after Kanjar-Ro, Hannu!” Sinestro asked Hannu as he gave to ship’s controls to him “Twilight, Green Man and Stel come with me and show them just way the Guardians have entrusted us with the greatest power in the universe!”
Then Sinestro, Stel, Green Man and Twilight flew out of the ship to deal with the Manhunters while Hannu stayed to pilot the ship and go after their target.
Twilight began using a construct of a cannon to fire construct cannonballs at the Manhunters, Stel was using a construct of what humans would call a lightsaber to slice the Manhunters in half.
Sinestro was fighting Manhunters with a construct of a sword and Green Man was using two constructs of pistols. Then they spotted the Alpha Manhunter.
“An Alpha Manhunter.” Green Man acknowledged looking at the other robot and knowing Twilight would not know what he was talking about he explained “a squad of Manhunters have a larger one in command called an Alpha, destroying one usually causes the rest to deactivate!”
“Fire most of what you got at the Alpha!” Sinestro ordered as Twilight and Green Man began firing at the Alpha managing to weaken it.
“I WILL DESTROY THE GREEN LANTERNS!!!!!” the Alpha said determined. Twilight then had an idea, it sounded crazy but it just might work.
Twilight then charge dup her horn and ring with both Green and magical energy, she then entered her cannon construct and it fired her like a missile towards the Alpha Manhunter.
The Alpha could not give the closest thing to a dumbfounded look it was capable of giving as Twilight fired herself at and she managed to pierce through his body and shutting it down along with the rest of the Manhunters.
Then Stel, Green Man and Sinestro then began destroying the Manhunter remains to make sure they would not be operational again.
After that Twilight gave a sheepish smile as Sinestro was giving Twilight a stern look while Stel and Green Man looked amused. “Let’s hope next time you’re logical and organised mind Twilight can think of a better plan than using yourself as ammunition.” Sinestro said talking like a stern teacher before he softened a bit and continued “but I guess that was fast thinking and good job anyway!”
Twilight smiled at the compliment her Green Lantern mentor told her and asked “you think the Manhunters are gone Sinestro?”
“This squad perhaps but there are definitely more!” Sinestro said seriously “wanting to continue their mission of destroy all that there is and it will be our job to make sure their mission is never completed! Speaking of missions let’s go complete ours and make sure Hannu managed to capture that pirate that caused this mess with his stupidity!”
*Break*
Hannu was looking over the hideout for Kanjar-Ro when he found him hiding in a room. Kanjar used his rod to enclose himself in a yellow bubble.
“Your ring can’t effect my yellow forcefield!” Kanjar-Ro said gloatingly with a smirk, Hannu then punched through the forcefield, grabbed the rod, snapped it in half and knocked out Kanjar-Ro with one punch.
“I don’t need my ring, my fists are the best weapon I have!” Hannu said laughing at Kanjar-Ro’s body.
He then saw his four fellow Lanterns coming up behind him, “I took care of this pirate and his weapon!” Hannu said with a smile.
“We will take the ship back to Oa to drop off Kanjar-Ro and I will be able to drive us back to our home sectors!” Sinestro said as they started heading back to the ship.
*Break*
Twilight when Sinestro dropped her off powered down her ring and then immediately went to her bedroom. She was wanting to rest after that mission she just got back from.
Spike was telling Twilight of a hydra attack that happened while she was away and was stopped by a new hero called Trixie Gold.
“She was nothing but a glory hound after some of your fame Twilight!” Spike said pacing around the room angrily “if you were there you would have taken those monsters a quarter of the time it took that show boater to do so!”
Twilight decided to make a note of this Trixie Gold for later.
*Break*
Sunset was excited as she learnt how to use her Yellow Energy and magical energy to increase the power of her Ring and battery.
After using some ancient magic on her power battery it increased size until it was the size of a house. They had to move operations and their hideout underground.
Using a spell she could now control the Power Battery at will and make it use a duplication spell to create duplicates of her rings to whatever pony she chooses and they would all answer to her.
Stolen March and Slade told her that the recruits were ready and they could start building their dream army!
Stolen March and Slade were either side of her as she stood as the Yellow Lantern in front of the Yellow Power Battery, facing the group of cadets they were training for their cause.
“You have proved you will be the new breed of soldier that Equestria needs!” Slade said to the ground “and now time to induct you all into our army!”
Suddenly about a hundred or so duplicate Yellow Rings came out and then floated to Slade, Stolen March and each of the cadets. For the unicorns like Slade the rings place themselves on their horns but for earth ponies and pegasi like Stolen March they placed themselves around their top light hooves like a watch.
“Time to say the oath!” Sunset commanded as they all faced the Battery and pointed their rings to it. They recited the modified oath Sunset made for their army which would be for the members except for her (she would keep her own oath):
“In Blackest Day, In Brightest Night
Beware your Fears, Made into Light
Let those who try to stop our might
Burn like our power
SUNSET’S MIGHT!!!!!”
Then at once their rings began glowing bright yellow and they were now all in the Yellow Uniform that Sunset worn, including Sunset’s Cutie Mark as a logo. They all wore yellow emerald masks but Slade decided to change his into a full face armoured mask with the left half of the faceplate being black and the other half being yellow.
It was made to resemble the mask of a uniform Slade wore when he went out in secret black ops missions he did not want his superiors to know.
Sunset laughed to herself a little maniacally, at lat her own army was now born.
