Musa is a regular girl in town and meets Rainbow Dash. Slowly a friendship builds, but she finds that she might have more feelings than friendship.

Musa (my OC) is a regular girl in a regular town. One day she meets the one and only Rainbow Dash. They become friends instantly, but she finds new feelings are being created and growing stronger. She has trouble dealing with the feelings, though...and the one main question that comes to almost everybody's mind. How to tell her...

This is my first story, so constructive criticism is welcome!

The Beginning

Musa slowly awoke to a warm sunny morning and went to her closet. What to wear... she wondered, picking out a nice light purple v-neck t-shirt that had a upside down treble clef next to a base clef to make a heart on the top left and a black skirt that went inches above her knees. Musa then slid on white stockings inches below her knee and put on black shoes with a strap and a small heel. She moved to her mirror and brushed her long wavy silver, light purple highlighted hair that went to her waist. She then quickly braided it and looked over to her desk.

My to-do list. she thought as she looked at it. What to do first...I'll do the grocery shopping last...so, I'll buy cat food then! She went downstairs and ate a piece of strawberry jam bread, and fed her ginger cat. She then grabbed her list and went out the house towards Fluttershy's Pet Shop.

Musa went in the pet store and grabbed wet cat food and a bag of treats and checking them out. She checked off pet shopping on the list, as she did for the rest of the day. She hummed a random tune as she went to the grocery store, her last thing to do. Musa bought a small gallon of milk, a jar of strawberry jam, bread and apples. She checked out and left the store to walk home. While walking, she looked down to her list, making sure she had everything done. Musa then bumped into someone, the force made her fall back onto the ground.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" Musa looked up to the girl. She was a tall, small breasted girl with short rainbow colored hair, her eyes were a mixture of blue and purple. She wore a sky blue t-shirt, that had a rainbow lightning bolt coming out of a cloud on the bottom right, and blue jean short shorts. She wore blue sneakers with white socks not even inches above her shoes. "Here." she said, giving Musa her hand.

"It's fine." Musa said, taking her hand and stood up. "Thank you." She brushed herself off and saw her grocery bag, torn at the bottom. Oh man...It's ripped. she thought, picking up some of the groceries on the ground. I'm glad the milk didn't spill. she thought.

"Here, let me help you." the girl then exclaimed, bending down and gathering some of the apples. Musa reached for an apple, about to grab it as the girl did the same, and by accident, the girl's hand went on top of Musa's. The two pulled away nervously and then smiled. Their smiles turned into laughter as the girl picked up the apple and gave it to Musa. "How about I carry some stuff back for you." she then offered.

Musa smiled. "That's very kind of you. Thank you. May I ask your name?" Musa asked kindly.

"You mean you haven't heard of me?! I'm Rainbow Dash. And you are?" Rainbow Dash replied.

"I'm Musa. It's nice to meet you!" Musa greeted.

"Same." The two neared Musa's small light violet cottage with a grey tiled roof and chimney to the right of it, which was connected to the fireplace inside.

"Here's my house. Please, come in and set the stuff on the table." Musa greeted as she opened the door and greeted her inside. Musa showed Rainbow Dash where to put the groceries, and she put them down. The two talked a little and Rainbow Dash had to go, so she waved goodbye and started for the door. "Rainbow Dash...before you leave! Just know, you're always welcome here. Alright?" Musa called to her kindly.

"Thanks Musa. Maybe next time, I'll show you my place!" Rainbow Dash said, waving her goodbye again and left. The two destined were to meet again some day...Musa just knew it.

New Friends

Rainbow Dash awoke the next sunny morning and she quickly got ready. She wanted to stretch out and maybe do a few tricks to get ready for the Wonderbolts one day. She quickly put on a light blue tank top with her rainbow cutie mark on the bottom left, and blue jean shorts that stopped mid-thigh. She put on her usual blue sneakers and white short socks and combed her short rainbow colored hair.

As she got ready for the day, she remembered yesterday's encounter with that girl, Musa was her name....wasn't it? She couldn't remember exactly as she went to the small kitchen and grabbed a piece of toast. What to do... she thought, taking a step outside and eating her toast. Her eyes widened as a gasp left her mouth, almost dropping her piece of toast.

There she was! The pale girl with long wavy silver, light purple highlighted hair! Today she was wearing a light grey t-shirt that had an upside down treble clef next to a base clef, making a heart, on the bottom left and blue jean shorts. She had short white socks under her light purple and white sneakers. "Hey!" Rainbow Dash called, waving to her as she walked over to her.

Musa looked to her with her silver, with a tint of purple, eyes and gave her a kind smile. "Hi there! Rainbow Dash...was it?" she replied.

"Yep! That's me!" Rainbow Dash reassured. "Musa, right?"

"Correct! Nice to see you again!" Musa exclaimed.

"Yeah! So..." Rainbow Dash stated, "What'cha doing?"

"I'm just walking around. I usually have a small walk, but today I decided to go further. It looks like it was smart of me...since I got to meet you again." Musa smiled.

"Yeah...I wasn't really expecting you to come around my house...Want to come in?" Rainbow Dash asked, pointing her thumb towards her sky blue house which had a light grey roof, two windows in the front and a door.

"I would love to." Musa accepted and the two walked inside Rainbow Dash's house. Once inside, Musa left out a gasp. "Whoa Rainbow Dash! This is an amazing place you have." Musa said, looking all around the house.

It was small, but the perfect house. The kitchen was on the right side of the house, with a refrigerator, stove, oven, sink and counter. A small red wooden table was set perfectly center of the kitchen, with four padded folding chairs around it. There was a sliding door to the small open back yard with a small picnic table and chair on the left side of the yard. There was a set of stairs to the far left corner and a small living room with a tv and blue couch also to the right.

"Of course it is! I'm awesome." Rainbow Dash replied, giving Musa a smirk. "Want to see my room?" she then asked.

Musa smiled kindly. "Sure! I'd love to!" she chirped and the two traveled upstairs. There were four doors, and they entered the first one to the right. Musa left out a small gasp at all the posters of the Wonderbolts athletic team. Her bed was neatly made with blue covers and her cutie mark at the far bottom left corner, and her sky blue pillow matched the same pattern. She had a small desk across from the bed, to the right of the window, and a mirror attached to a dresser, which was to the left. "You must really like the Wonderbolts." Musa assumed.

"Like them?" Rainbow Dash gasped. "I don't just like them. I love them!" she exclaimed. "They are so awesome! So awesome I want to join them one day."

Musa giggled. "I hope you achieve your goal Rainbow." she then said, catching herself say one part of Rainbow Dash's name.

Before she could put in an apology, Rainbow Dash cracked up. "So you're going to start calling me that too?" she laughed. Musa looked to her, confused. "Some of my friends call me Rainbow." she explained.

"So, it's okay if I call you that, then?" Musa asked.

Rainbow Dash put her hand on top of Musa's head, giving her a small noogie. "Yeah. It's alright. I mean we're friends now...right?" she said, looking down to Musa.

Musa looked up to her and smiled. She was, at first, surprised that Rainbow Dash already thought as her a friend, but then warmed up to the idea. She wasn't too fond of making friends right away, but she somehow trusted Rainbow Dash. So much to the extent that she was okay with having her as a friend. "We sure are." she answered gleefully.

Feelings Unfold

Chapter 3: Feelings Unfold

It's been around two months since Rainbow Dash and Musa's encounter. Musa felt a strange feeling curl up inside her grow ever so slightly each time they met. She didn't quiet understand the strange feelings. She even didn't have an explanation for it other than she is sick, but that's not possible... Her head soon felt like it was spinning with all possible things that it could be.

"Musa...? Musa? Musa!" A voice brought her back to Ponyville. She looked to Rainbow Dash, and a small pain on her rum started to form from the wooden bench they were sitting on.

"Sorry...what?" Musa asked, worried for how long Rainbow was waiting for her to snap back into reality. She totally stared off into space while she and Rainbow Dash were having a nice stroll, and relaxing.

" ' You okay?" Rainbow questioned, a little worried. Musa was staring at the small pond for a few minutes, blinking maybe a few times and fidgeting slightly at her head.

"I'm fine. Sorry, I didn't mean to worry you." Musa smiled nervously, noticing she was out of it for a while.

"Good, I'm glad." Rainbow Dash replied, putting her right hand on top of Musa's head and giving her a small noogie. "Don't scare me like that again...okay?"

"Yes, I'm sorry again." Musa apologized. Her stomach turned ever so slightly, and she could feel her cheeks heat up. What is going on with me? she wondered. Rainbow Dash then tilted her head a little, worry came upon her face again. Musa looked to her, confused.

"You sure your okay?" Rainbow fretted.

"I'm fine, Rainbow. Why do you ask?" Musa reassured her, confused of why she was asking once more. She then felt Rainbow's hand slide down to her forehead. Her cheeks heated up like there was a small fire on them.

"Good, not hot." Rainbow observed and looked to Musa with a smile. "Your cheeks were really red...so, I was worried." she then explained, taking her hand back up to noogie Musa once again. "Stop scaring me." she joked.

"I said I'm sorry!" Musa giggled, though inside she felt stupid, but confused. Why was she having these feelings? Why was her cheeks heating up so quickly? Rainbow Dash smiled.

"What do you want to do now?" she asked, leaning her head on her hands, her elbows rested on her lap.

"Hm..." Musa thought, she was enjoying their time together, but her butt was aching to get off the hard bench. "Want to walk somewhere? Maybe around the park?" Musa advised. Rainbow thought for a while, but then it seemed like she got an idea.

"How about we go watch a movie?" she offered, "It'll be on me."

Musa thought about it and then smiled, "That would be great. What movie?"

"I heard that the first Daring Do book was in film...Want to watch that?" she questioned, looking to Musa for her answer.

Musa pondered upon it, she did like the first Daring Do book, and there was nothing else she wanted to watch... "Yeah, that would be great!" Musa approved and the girls set off to the movie theater. The small feeling once again came up in her stomach as they neared the theater. What is going on? Why...what is this feeling I'm having? she thought as Rainbow purchased the tickets.

"Want popcorn Musa?" Rainbow Dash wondered; Musa looked to Rainbow.

"Popcorn sounds fine, Rainbow." she smiled, as a small heat built up in her cheeks. Through that one feeling, she automatically knew what was going on...But, it couldn't be! Why would she, Music Beats, like girls? And why would she like...no, not like...This is stronger than like, she like liked her best friend Rainbow Dash!

It was around a minute later when Rainbow came back with two popcorn buckets and two sodas. "The sodas were free if you bought this size, so I decided to get you one too...I hope you like Coke."

"I do!" Musa responded, taking her popcorn and soda as the two walked to the room. "How did you guess?"

Rainbow shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know...I just guessed." they made it inside and picked seats that were around the center of the screen, and just far enough to look straight at the huge screen. Just when they sat down, the lights dimmed and the advertisements started. "Stupid advertisements..." Rainbow Dash snapped quietly.

Musa softly giggled, "Well, how else would new movies get popular?" A grunt came from Rainbow, showing there was no comeback for Musa's remark. The show finally started and every pony quieted down. Around the middle of the movie, Musa moved her right arm to the arm rest, to go on top of another arm. She quickly moved it away and looked to Rainbow Dash. "Sorry." she quickly apologized.

Rainbow looked to her and smiled, "It's fine."

The movie finally ended and Musa and Rainbow Dash waited for the end credits, more so because Musa wanted to listen to the amazing music, and the other reason was to see if there were any spoilers at the end...but there wasn't any. The credits ended and the two made their way out of the room.

"What a great movie!" Musa exclaimed.

Rainbow smiled gleefully, "I loved the part where Daring Do swung in ..."

"And snatched the pearl right from their hands!" Musa finished with Rainbow Dash. The two looked to each other and laughed.

"We should do this more often!" Rainbow Dash smirked.

"When the next Daring Do movie comes out...Oh my gosh! I can't wait!" Musa announced. Rainbow laughed again, and Musa looked to her confused.

"Man, Musa. I haven't seen you this excited." Rainbow laughed. She was right, even thou she got excited when Rainbow did all her tricks. She was guessing that Rainbow didn't notice since she was flipping and spinning about.

"Hehe..." She nervously laughed, "Sorry." The two then left to Musa's house, and there the two said their goodbyes, even though they were going to see each other over the weekend at Pinkie Pie's party.

Weekend Party

View Online

Musa quietly hummed 'A True True Friend' as she got ready for Pinkie's Party. She dressed in a nice light blue, almost grey-blue, t-shirt and light blue jean shorts. A warm blush came upon her cheeks looking out her bedroom window as she thought of spending the day with Rainbow Dash. Musa quickly brushed her hair and went downstairs. She couldn't believe herself at the moment. She, Musical Beats, liked girls!

Her thoughts that clouded her mind were released when there was a knock at her door. Musa walked to the door and opened it. A smile was created as she looked to a surprising Rainbow Dash on the other side of the door.

"Hey Musa!" Rainbow Dash smiled as she waved.

"Hi Rainbow! What are you doing here?" Musa kindly greeted Rainbow in to her small house.

"Well, I was passing your house on the way to Pinkie's place; so, I decided to pick you up on the way." Rainbow answered. Her face seemed to hide a small factor...almost like she was somewhat lying.

Musa shook it off, even if Rainbow couldn't have been lying...Because why else would she come? Was she worried Musa wouldn't remember when the party was? Or maybe it could be she likes her...more then a friend. Musa stopped herself there. There was no way Rainbow could have feelings for her!

Musa smiled anyways, "I see...Well, I'm ready..." She thought if she had everything, which it seemed like she did, so she started for the door; slipping on nice light blue-grey slip on shoes; and then turned to Dash. "Well, are you coming?"

Rainbow smiled and followed her, "Yeah, yeah. I'm coming!" When outside, Rainbow Dash closed the door behind her. They made their way over to Pinkie's place. Pinkie Pie's place was a big pink three floor high house. The bottom was the Cake's shop where cakes, small cupcakes and other delicacies were made.

The two girls made it inside and went up the stairs; the small bang startled them both. Confetti flew everywhere. "Surprise!"

Musa's wide eyes looked to the slightly shorter than her, pale skinned girl with puffy pink hair and blue eyes who was grinning widely.

"Wow Pinkie. You overdid it." Rainbow complimented as she walked over to her. Musa calmed down; more so calmed her heart down from the sudden surprise; and her mouth turned to a kind smile as she walked over to Pinkie Pie.

"Hi Pinkie Pie. I'm Musa...I believe we met before-"

"In the store once where I was like *gasp* because I didn't recognize your face. If you were new here, you must have been lonely, so I did a small welcome party for you!" Pinkie Pie cut her off.

Musa didn't remember the party, but she remember Pinkie telling her about a party she would put on for her, but there was another person named Twilight, if she remembered the name correctly that is, who was also new. She shrugged it off and held out her hand, "Well it's nice to meet you again."

"Musa, that's..." Rainbow started, but couldn't finish. Pinkie squealed and pulled Musa in a huge hug. "..not the...best idea." Rainbow slowly finished her sentence.

"Ca-n't breeaath." Musa barely got out as she felt her body being crushed. Luckily Pinkie let go, but she felt like she was going to melt to the floor. It was almost like all her back bone was gone. She felt an arm go under her arm, and she looked over to a smiling Rainbow Dash.

"I tried to warn you." she joked, supporting Musa until her balance came back. Musa looked to Rainbow scornfully, even though both of them knew Rainbow Dash won in that conversation. Pinkie Pie lightly giggled, noticing both of the girls blush. Aww...So cute. she though, leaving the two alone to go down stairs to meet her other guests.

Rainbow let go of Musa's arm once her balance came back and crossed her own arms. She moved to the bench near a wooden picnic table and then looked to Musa; who was looking to her. She smiled, as a small blush came to her cheeks, and patted the spot next to her. "Come on, you can sit here."

Musa smiled as she sat down, "Thanks." Some more guests came in.

"Twilight! Fluttershy! Nice to see you here!" Rainbow waved to the other girls. One, Twilight, was shorter than Pinkie Pie, and was lightly tanned with long straight purple hair with a pink-purple streak in her hair, and her eyes were purple. She was wearing a nice purple t-shirt and darker purple jacket and blue jeans.

Musa's eyes widened as a small 'Awww' came from her mouth. She walked to it and pet it.

"Oh, this is Lily." Fluttershy slowly took off the bag, letting Lily out. Musa kneeled down to pet it. "Her and Angel get very lonely, so I bring them along." A small white bunny then popped up.

"Fluttershy, they're so cute." Musa smiled, petting both.

A sigh came from the doorway seconds later, "Whoowee. Long day finished by one hay of a party." Musa looked to the tall tanned girl. She had yellow-orange hair that was collected into a ponytail around her waist area. The girl was wearing a plaid orange and white button up shirt, where the sleeves stopped just above her elbows and was wearing blue jeans and cowgirl boots over them, with three apples on the top corner.

"Applejack!" Rainbow Dash smiled, walking to her and giving her a pat on the shoulder, "Hard day at work today?" Musa saw Rainbow's cheeks were covered in a light pink blush. A strange feeling curled inside Musa's stomach, and she cringed, looking away from the two straight to the animals.

See...There was no possible way Rainbow Dash would like me...It was because she likes some girl else. Musa thought, the feeling in her stomach was too much to bear, but she had to do something...let's say...something that people wouldn't wonder where you were going. No madder what she thought of, there was no possible way... Other than staying in that house...heck even the room!

Her senses come back when she feelt a finger lightly poke her cheek. She flinched first, and then moved her head to the poker. "Ra-rainbow D-dash...What is it?!" she stuttered, feeling heat over her face. She's so close...gosh darnit...And so cute~ She quickly shook off the thought. No Musa, she wouldn't like someone like you...She's into that other girl so stop it!

"Musa, you're strange..." Rainbow smirked, flicking her forehead lightly, making Musa flinch a little, "'ya know that?"

Musa looked to her, confused, "What do you mean?"

"You keep on staring into space..." Rainbow laughed.

"Oh...I'm sorry." Musa smiled nervously. Great going Musa. Keep spacing out like this, I'll be nicknamed the Staring Queen... she thought. She looked down to the kitten to see Rainbow was petting it, and she felt a small feeling of envy. I wish I could be a cat... she thought, smiling at how gentle Rainbow was petting the cat.

A squeal came from the door, "Let's get this party started!" Musa looked up to Pinkie Pie, who jumped over to the stereo set and hit the play button. Music suddenly blasted as the animals quickly squirmed back into Fluttershy's backpack.

"Pinkie Pie!" Applejack waved Pinkie over. "Do ya want me to get the Apple Cider now?" she asked when Pinkie finally pranced over to her. Pinkie nodded her head and Applejack left the room.

"Where's Rarity?" Pinkie then asked, crossing her arms.

"She's probably finishing an outfit before she gets here." Rainbow Dash guessed, standing up and stretching. Pinkie grunted, obviously not approving of the reason.

"Awfully sorry I'm late, dearies. Didn't mean to be late, but I was busy with a customer." Musa looked back to the door to the very pale, around the same height as her, girl with purple curly hair stopping above the waist. She was wearing a white summer dress with purple diamonds lining the bottom of the dress and around the waist were a light silver ribbon was. She was wearing white heels that had a slight purple tint to it. Her right shoulder was holding a small purple, lighter purple than her hair, purse.

"Oh, Rarity, it's okay. Pinkie was worried though..." Fluttershy gently greeted, walking over to her. Rarity looked over to Pinkie, who looked back and smiled.

"Rarity!" She shrieked happily, zipping over to her and hugging her tightly.

"Pinkie...I...can't..." Rarity voiced, loosing air, then Pinkie let go, "...breath."

Musa walked over to them cautiously, not wanting to get pulled in one of Pinkie Pie's murderous hugs. "Hello Rarity. I'm Musa." Musa greeted.

A gasp came from her as she looked to Musa almost like Musa fainted, or something like that, in front of her. "My darling, how awful! You should never wear that together!" she scoffed.

"Um..." Musa started, unsure of what to say. She really didn't mind what she wore, and at the moment, she thought what she was wearing was fine.

"Rarity...I know you're a fashion diva and all, but sometimes people don't wear fancy stuff." Rainbow Dash snapped, putting her hands to her hips.

Rarity gasped once more, looking offended, "Well, I'm sorry that I have an eye for fashion." she apologized roughly, crossing her arms and looked away, walking to the bench Rainbow Dash and Musa were sitting on not that long ago.

A small um escapes Musa's lips as she stares at the two of them. She wanted to help them to be back to friends, unless they weren't friends before...but she wanted them to at least get to know each other. A small hand goes on her shoulder, making her jump a little and she then looked to Twilight.

"Don't worry, they will be okay." Twilight assured, giving her a kind smile.

"Are you sure?" Musa asked, still unsure if everything would be okay.

"Yes, I'm sure." Twilight nodded, moving over to the snack table, grabbing a cookie.

"Musa, I'm sorry about Rarity." Rainbow then apologized, walking to her, "And I'm sorry how I dealt with that...But she gets on my nerves sometimes with all her fashion stuff...She had no right to tell you what you should wear...I think it looks great on you."

Musa felt her whole face heat up, probably because she was blushing...a lot. Sh-she thinks I look good...?! she thought gleefully. "Thanks Rainbow...I think you look great as well." Musa complemented.

For the first time, she saw it. Rainbow Dash, blushing because of Musa's comment. "Um...thanks." Rainbow said, unsure of what to say. Musa couldn't believe what she saw! The thought of Rainbow blushing because of her made Musa blush even more.

"No problem." Musa then said, smiling kindly. Even though she was happy about this, the feeling of Rainbow Dash liking her made her somewhat scared. A small feeling of fear appeared, with a confliction of love...It was all confusing and she couldn't stand it. "I have to go." she quickly said, blush all over her face as she left the room.

"Musa? What is it?" Rainbow asked, worried. Musa bit her lip, quickly closing the door behind her. She ran down the stairs, almost tripping at the last set, and bolted out the house. She slowed down, catching her breath as she moved to a tree, sitting against the bark. I am such an idiot. she thought, lightly tapping her head against the bark.

The sound of a door opening and closing sparked her somewhat calm body. "Musa?" She flinched. The voice was Rainbow Dash's. She heard footsteps come close. "Musa where are you?" she sounded worried. Footsteps finally stopped, Musa lightly closed her eyes slowly breathing out, knowing Rainbow Dash found her. "Musa!"

Musa looked to her, as she kneeled down near her. She had no idea what to do, or what to talk about. She completely blew everything. "Musa, what's wrong?"

"Everything, Rainbow Dash...Everything." Musa found herself to say.

"There's no reason to cry about it..." a tear hit her hand, making her flinch a little. I'm crying?! Musa thought, sighing. 'I am such an idiot.' she found herself thinking again.

"Sorry." she lowly said, bringing her knees to her chest. One thing about this position that she liked right now was that it was hiding her blush away from Rainbow Dash.

"Did I say something wrong?" Rainbow asked, moving closer.

"No...You said everything right." Musa grinned, moving her chin on top of her knees.

"Yep, I'm awesome like that."

Musa laughed and shook her head. "There's your smile..." Rainbow laughed, nudged Musa's arm.

Blush once came back to her face, unsure what to say, but glad Rainbow came out...She sat back straight up, looking over. "Rainbow-"

She was cut off by a kiss. Her eyes widened as she froze, unknowing what just happened. Before she could respond, more so relax, Rainbow quickly releases and looked away. "Sorry." she blushed hard.

Musa didn't understand fully what was going on, but she had a firm belief of what she wanted. She moved her hand to Rainbow's face, lightly moving it towards her, and...kissed her...back. After a minute of their lips on lips fiasco, they broke, catching their breath.

"I...don't understand Rainbow..." Musa started, unsure of the events that just occurred. "I thought...you liked Applejack."

Rainbow laughed, "You saw me blush when I talked to Applejack, huh? I had to use Applejack as a reason to calm me down." Rainbow smiled, "You know, you look absolutely stunning?"

Musa's face flushed deep red, "U-um...I guess...so?" she answered, unsure of what to say. Rainbow pulled her in for another kiss.

After breaking after what seemed like hours, both Musa and Rainbow Dash stood up, more so Rainbow stood up first then helped Musa up. "Musa, I have something to say that I've been wanting to say for a long time...It's just I never knew how to...And I never knew if you had the same feelings..." Rainbow started, kindly smiling, "But I like you...a lot."

"I...love you too." Musa blushed, somehow knowing what Rainbow was saying.

"So then...Musa, how would you like to go out with the one and only Rainbow Dash?" Rainbow smirked.

In response, Musa pulled Rainbow in a hug, "I would like that very much." she whispered into Rainbow's ear. Only releasing her for another kiss.

The Date

View Online

It was another beautiful day in Ponyville, and another day in Musa's life. Cleaning her dishes, she hummed the a song. She couldn't help it though, since her new girlfriend, Rainbow Dash, asked her out on a date today.

She sighed, finishing the dishes, and dried her hands. Glancing at the time, she smiled. Well, better get ready! she thought, practically skipping to her bedroom. It was the first time ever in Musa's life where someone returned her feelings. Sighing, she picks out a nice white shirt that had a purple flowers pattern and nice looking blue jeans. She wasn't one for dressing up fancy, but she wanted to at least look nice.

She looked to her mirror, moving her bangs behind her ear and smiled. A feeling of nervousness mixed with sorrow flowed in. What am I doing? she thought, staring in the mirror. Not getting an answer from her reflection, she sighed, and sat on her bed.

All of a sudden, a knock was at the door. Confused, Musa went to the door. Her eyes went wide, "Rainbow Dash? What are y-you doing here?" she asked.

Rainbow smiled, "Well, I'm picking you up."

"But our date isn't for another 30 minutes." Musa's cheeks warmed up.

Rainbow nervously laughed, "Right, I know. Isn't it good to be early?"

Musa finally got it, Rainbow was trying to do her best to keep this relationship going. Or, well, she hopes that's what it is. She smiled, "You're fine, Rainbow Dash."

"You know, you could still call me Rainbow. Just because we're dating, doesn't mean we have to be all formal." she put her hands on her hips.

Musa rolled her eye, "Yeah, yeah. Come in here." The two sat down at the kitchen table. "Since you're early, want any food?"

"No, I ate before I came here." she answered, "But I'd love a drink."

Musa stood up, "Ok, what do you want then?"

"Have any lemonade or something?"

She nodded, getting out the lemonade from her fridge. Setting it on the table, she grabbed two glasses. "Here." she pushed a full glass towards her.

Rainbow smiled, "Thanks Musa." She then took a few sips as Musa sat down with her glass. "So, is Musa your full name?"

Musa looked up towards Rainbow, "Um, no. My full name is Musical Beat. Musa's fine though."

"Ah, that explains the necklace your wearing."

Oh, Musa forgot she even put her necklace on. It was a necklace that had a charm with the treble cleff and bass clef making a shape into a heart. "Y-yeah." Musa then responded, taking a quick drink of lemonade.

Sooner or later, it was time for their date. The two of them went out of Musa's house to then go towards the movie theater.

"So, you say you don't like horror films. Too chicken to see one?" Rainbow jokingly asked.

"Heh." Musa clasped her hands together (her right hand above the left) "N-no...I just get scared easily."

Rainbow nods, "Alright, so that's off the list." Rainbow was trying to figure out the movie they were watching. "So, what genre do you like?"

Musa nods to this, "I don't know. I guess I'm a fan of romance."

"Bleh." Rainbow stuck her tongue out, "Gushy romance."

Musa laughs at this, "Some aren't that bad."

"Yeah, yeah. Alright, what else?"

"I like adventure and action."

"I think I'll be ok with that."

The two finally made it to the ticket booth. "How about superhero films?"

"I like watching superhero films...as long as they don't mess up the story." Musa answered.

"Alright, can we have two tickets for X-Men?" The woman behind the counter nods, and gives them the tickets while Rainbow hands her the money. "Here you go." she gives Musa the ticket. "Come on, it's going to start soon."

Musa followed Rainbow into the theater and they found seats near the center. Soon enough, ads have started showing. Then, the movie started. Musa glanced over towards Rainbow, who seemed attached to the screen, then looks down to the arm rest. Rainbow's arm was resting there. Musa took a deep breath, and moved her hand to it, intertwining their hands. Rainbow gives her hand a squeeze and the two smile while watching the rest of the movie.
