> The Spell

        After months of training her magic, Twilight was already tired of practicing spells from the bookcase.
“It is all?” shouted Twilight, looking at a lot of books that were in the ground. “I only have easy spells here?”
“Aahh” grumbled the alicorn, failing on the floor. “I practice, practice, practice but everything now seems simple. Maybe I’ve learned every existing spell?”
“Relax, Twilight, breathe in, there is still a lot of stuff to you learn” said Twilight to herself, getting easy. “You only have to search harder for it.”
The purple alicorn stood up from the ground and started to look at the bookcase without hope. 
“Wait a second…” exclaimed Twilight, wondering about a little symbol on the bookcase’s wood. “What is that?”
She went nearly of the weird symbol that was inside of a almost empty bookcase. It wasn’t empty already because the alicorn didn’t took the last book from it. Twilight rose her left hoof and dropped the last item from the shelf. 
“What the…” mentioned the purple alicorn gape. “What kind of symbol is that?”
Twilight saw in her front a symbol in the form of a labyrinth but in circles.
“Oh my Celestia, I have never seen something like this.” – exclaimed the student touching in the draft. “What?!”
Touching on it, one part of the shelf started to get away and going down. Showing a secret compartment on the library. Looking on it, Twilight saw a red book and got amazed, she never saw this book before.
“No, there is a reason for it be hide” thought the alicorn, trying to not look at the area. “It can’t be a good thing.”
“But if I never knew the reason why… I need to see what is written is this book!” disclaimed Twilight discussing with herself. “Alright, just a peek.”
Finishing to taking off the book from the compartment, the alicorn noticed that it were very old. And had as title on the cover: “Time Spells”.
“Time Spells?!” spoke her surprised. “Goodness, I must read this!”
The alicorn left the book fall into the floor and starts to jump over the place.
“Finally! Finally! That’s what I were talking about” said the student, smiling.
Twilight opened the book with a spell and started to browse for a specific charm.
“Time… Time… Age… Stop the time” commented her stopping to browse. “Oh, that is interesting”
The alicorn foiled some pages and then closed it.
“Okay, I already know how to do it” exclaimed her,  secure and enthusiastic. “Now where I can get those stuffs that are mentioned in the book?”
The book mentioned that the unicorn that wants to do the charm must have as partner a pegasus. These spell required two ponies species. Twilight thought for 1 minute and then remembered about a little detail.
“Oh yeah, I need to know how to recall the spell” spoke her, laughing. “How dumb I’m.”
The student takes the book again and foils it. Finishing to read, closed it.
“Okay, now I know everything about this charm” said the purple alicorn. “But I still need a pegasus.”
It was written on the book that the pegasus must be fast, so, Rainbow Dash would be perfect for this. Knowing that Twilight left the library and went to the searching.
“I must find her. But how?” asked the alicorn for herself, stopping nearly from her house. “Come on, Twilight, use the head you only have to ask to Pinkie Pie.”
Twilight went instantly to the Sugar Corner by teleporting and saw Pinkie attending some clients.
“Pinkie, did you see Rainbow today?” asked the alicorn to the pink pony. 
“Oh, hi, Twilight, how are you?” answered Pinkie Pie, smiling. “Hm…. Rainbow… If I remember clearly she was in the lake…”
“Thanks, Pinkie!” mentioned the student, very happy and teleporting. “I owe a lot to you.”
“But Twilight…!” spoke the Pinkie.
It was useless, Twilight teleported until hear what Pinkie would say.
The student arrived nearly at the lake ground. Looked for Rainbow and got happy when saw it. 
“Rainbow Dash”! exclaimed Twilight running at her. “Is great to see you today.”
Rainbow that was lying in a chair looked to Twilight.
“Hi, Twilight” answered the Pegasus to the alicorn. “Normally you didn’t come here.”
“I know” said Twilight. “I have something special to us today.”
“And what is it?” asked Dash looking at Twilight face. 
“Well, it’s a new spell” answered the alicorn, excited.
“Oh, cool” said the alicorn rising from the chair. “You’re going to show it to me?
“Yes, but you are going to help me with that” spoke Twilight, walking far away from Rainbow. “Come here!”
“Okay, I was already tired of sleeping” commented Dash following the alicorn. “How can I help?”
“It’s simple” answered Twilight, moving the hooves. “You only need to fly in clockwise direction in high speed. But before that I must have to launch the spell in you. Without that it is not going to work. And remember you must fly over me.”
“I get it… But what is that for?” asked her, confused. 
“To stop time!” exclaimed Twilight, smiling a lot. 
“Stop time?” said Dash, insecure. “Isn’t it dangerous?”
“No, I read every single line of the chapter, you don’	t have to worry about” mentioned the alicorn, proud.
“I’m not sure about it…” commented Dash.
“Come on, Rainbow Dash!” mentioned Twilight. “Please, it is very important to me.”
“Fine, I’ll do it for you” said the friend. “Let’s do it.”
“OK!” answered the alicorn, siting on the ground. “Did you understand everything?”
“Yeah, yeah, fly around in circles” spoke her.
“You got it” mentioned Twilight. “Now, let me just…”
The purple alicorn launches a spell over Rainbow Dash. And Dash starts to shine with a yellow light.
“This thing shines” commented the blue pegasus.
“Yeah, it really does” answered the student, exciting. “Now, you only have to fly over me.”
Rainbow Dash starts to fly, turning around many times over  Twilight making a hurricane.
“It’s working!” mentioned the alicorn, fascinated.
After some seconds the hurricane explodes and launches a magic wave that make everything freeze except both ponies.
“Yes, yes, yes!” shouted Twilight looking at the freeze scenario. “It worked.”
After that Rainbow faint and started to fall in high speed to the ground. She waked up when was falling but couldn’t moves her wings yet, she were powerless.
“Rainbow?” exclaimed the alicorn. “My Celestia!”
Twilight could catch Rainbow using a charm and then put her on the floor.
“Eh… I’m so tired” said Dash almost sleeping. “My head is hurting…”
“Don’t worry, you can relax now. We did it, look around” spoke the alicorn. “Isn’t it amazing?”
“Yeah.. It’s cool” said the pegasus touching in her head. “Are you sure that it worked? It’s because everything looks equal.”
“I’m sure that worked and I’m going to prove it” answered Twilight confident. “Are you seeing this lake?”
“Yes. So what?” asked her closing the eyes.
“I’m going to walk over it” said the student walking near of the lake.
“Okay, so try to do it” commented Rainbow looking at Twilight, not trusting.
“It’s easy, the time it is stopped so the water molecules and of anything that is in the lake can suffer a athermancy. Their molecules going to slowly suffer a change because the spell  makes the time almost freeze. Finally, with the molecules almost freeze I can walk over the water” explained the alicorn.
“Nice chemistry class but show it” exclaimed Dash. “I’m still very tired.” 
Twilight went to the lake and walked calm over it. Showing that she was right about what she said.
“So?” Am I or am I not right? argument the student. “What did you say?”
“Fine, fine, you were right we stopped the time” spoke Rainbow.
“Yes, now, let’s cancel this spell” said Twilight, walking to Rainbow Dash. “But I will need your help.”
“Right now?” exclaimed Rainbow whining. “I’m so powerless.”
“No, we can wait” answered the alicorn.
“Great, because it almost killed me” spoke Rainbow turning around.
Twilight get ready to use the teleport but nothing happens.
“Uh? What?!” said the student confused. “My magic isn’t working.”
The alicorn forces more to do a spell and nothing happens.
“But what is that?!” shouted Twilight angry. “What is happening?”
“Are you fine?” questioned Rainbow Dash opening the eye. 
“No, I can’t teleport” said the alicorn getting mad. 
“Maybe you are weary” mentioned the pegasus looking at the friend. 
“It can’t be that. Alicorns only can’t use magic when they are cursed or exhausted nearly from fainting” commented Twilight nervous.
“So, what happened?” asked the Pegasus trying to get up. 
“I don’t know but I’m going to find out” commented the student walking away. “I’m going to read that book again.”
“I will follow you” exclaimed Rainbow, standing up and walking.
“Okay” mentioned Twilight, waiting for the friend.
Both mares went to the library and there they picked up the book that were in the ground and open it.
“Where is it? Where is it?” exclaimed Twilight, browsing for the specific spell. “I found!” 
“So?” asked Dash in doubt. 
Twilight let the book fall into the ground and gets surprise.
“What happened?” questioned Rainbow, worried. “Tell me!”
“T-the spell only can be used once a week” answered her, paralyzed. “And take off the magic of the alicorn by a short time.”
“This can’t be true!” exclaimed the pegasus angry. “Who in Celestia name created this spell?!”
“I think Celestia did it. Maybe for no pony use it and as punishment won’t be able to return after a week” said Twilight crying. “That was the motive to be hidden.”
“It were hidden?! And you didn’t tell me about it?!” shouted Dash walking nearly to Twilight.
“I didn’t thought that were important” said the alicorn getting sad. “I’m so sorry.”
“You let us get trapped in a charm” answered Dash mad. “What we are going to do bnow?!”
“I-I don’t know” spoke Twilight afraid and walking back. “I really sorry.”
Dash get worried about the friend and stop to act rude. 
“Sorry, sorry” said the pegasus many times. “I shouldn’t have spoke in this way. Look at the good point, we’re together”
Twilight look slowly to Rainbow and starts to get better and smile a little.
“Okay” spoke the alicorn calm. “And I almost forgot. If we are going to stay here for a while, I’m going to make a clock”
The alicorn raised the head and made a purple light on the horn, 
creating a magic clock. Showing exactly 148 hours.
“Cool!” exclaimed the pegasus wondering about the shiny clock. “Where did you learn this?”
“Oh, this?” asked Twilight proud. “I used to make those clocks for studying at night in Canterlot.”
The clock is absorbed and Twilight’s horn stops to shine.
“We lost the clock?!” questioned Dash in panic. “Why did you do that?”
“We didn’t lost it” answered the student, laughing. “I just kept with me.”
“Oh, fine” spoke Rainbow relieved. “Let’s do something?”
“What are you thinking” asked Twilight.
“Well, I was thinking to make some new maneuvers” said Dash looking weirdly to Twilight.
“It not dangerous, is it?” questioned the alicorn.
“For somepony like me, no” answered Rainbow arrogant. “You don’t have to worry about it.”
“But aren’t you tired yet?” want to know the alicorn. “We just left for some minutes from the lake.”
“Please, you think that this negligible charm can’t beat me?” spoke Rainbow Dash, laughing.
“O-okay” answered the alicorn a little suspicious. “But if anything happens…”
They got out of the library where kept walking for some minutes until arrive at the lake. Rainbow went to the border of it and look at Twilight.
“Great, I knew that you can manipulate the water with magic” spoke the pegasus walking over the lake. “So, I want to you make some water balls, big ones to I destroy while I’m flying.
“But I don’t have total control over this spell yet” commented Twilight really scared. “Why we don’t practice in another area?
“I are you afraid, Twi?” questioned the pegasus, kicking the water. “I practiced this in every area of Ponyville and I know you can do it.”
“Let me try…” answered the student, preparing to make a spell. 
Twilight went over the margin of the lake and starts to levitate some bunches of water.
“Eh, this is too close from the margin. It’s need to be further”
Spoke Dash complaining. 
“Urrh, okay” answered the alicorn, going further over the lake. “Is it better now?”
“It’s great!” answered Rainbow Dash. “Now, just try to make those bunches of water bigger.”
“Are you sure?” asked Twilight, worried about it. “I can’t control it already in this size.”
“You can do it!” exclaimed the pegaus flying to the sky. 
The alicorn looked to Dash and efforts more the spell. Making that little mounts of water join to the bigger ones.
“Perfect!” spoke Rainbow Dash at the sky. “Now, it’s my turn!”
“Dash…” said Twilight with difficulty. “I don’t think that I can control this for too longer.”
But the pegasus didn’t heard anything that was said by Twilight. She was too much busy thinking about how to destroy the balls of water.
After a lot of balls destroyed. Rainbow was supposed to destroy the last one, the bigger one. Twilight watched what Rainbow was thinking about.
“Rainbow, don’t do it!” exclaimed the alicorn very worried.  
The pegasus looked fixedly to the ball and fled very quickly.
“No, Dash!” shouted Twilight, starting to sweat. “I can’t bear that impact.”
Even with the warning, Rainbow continue to fly in high speed. However, she fainted before hitting at the ball.
“Dash? What happened?” questioned Twilight, stopping to do the spell. “Wake up!”
Twilight were trying to teleport to catch her friend. But she couldn’t do it.
“Shoot! I spent a lot of magic right now” said her running out to catch Rainbow Dash.
At the last minute Twilight could teleport and catch her friend. And left her carefully on the ground after that the student fall over the floor and breathes many times.
“You and your deeds” spoke the alicorn in a low tone. 
Twilight try to get closer of her friend and wake up it.
“Come on, Rainbow, open you eyes” mentioned Twilight very weak.
Unfortunately Rainbow Dash didn’t open it and Twilight were exhausted and couldn’t do too much. So, she lay on the ground at Dash’s side to rest.
“Probably she fainted cause she was really powerless, of course, she was exhausted minutes before” said Twilight, thinking and looking at Dash body. “And I asked for you if you weren’t too tired. But you are okay now and that is what matter.”
Rainbow starts to wake up. Open the eyes but can’t understand what happened.
“I’m alive?” questioned Dash touching in herself and a little dizzy. “I’m fine?”
“Of course you are alive, I saved you…” spoke Twilight, peeved. “What are you thinking about?”
“T-twilight? Did you do that?” asked her concerned. “Are you okay?”
“I’m just tired, you fainted from nothing and I had to catch you” said the student breathing. “Why didn’t you tell me that you were done?”
“I didn’t know that could occur something like this” spoke the pegasus crying. “I just…”
“I know that you didn’t want to do something like this happen” mentioned Twilight. “You must have told me about how tire were you.”
“I know! But I thought that I could do it” answered Dash tearing. “I were a fool, I always try to pass through my limits. I just wanted to do something together with you however I only thought in myself.”
“Rainbow, you shouldn’t effort too much like that” spoke Twilight touching in Dash.
“But… All of you do so many amazing things to me” said Dash looking at the sky. “And what I do for you?”
“You have saved us many times, Dash” answered Twilight smiling. “Don’t you remember of the Wonderbolt’s Academy?”
“I remember but it was all my fault” said the pegasus sadly. 
“Rainbow, you didn’t want to do that hurricane” commented the alicorn looking at the sky too. “And you went quickly help us…”
“Though, it is my fault that I act without thinking” spoke Rainbow, watching the alicorn resting. “I really care about you all.”
“Want me to help you?” questioned Twilight, giving a slight smile. “You think right in these moments. If you don’t, you couldn’t save us from in that time.”
“Would you help me?” asked the pegasus solicitous.
“Sure! Why not?” answered the student looking deep in her eyes.
“It’s because… I’m not going to learn so fast…” mentioned Rainbow Dash.
“Haha, don’t worry” said Twilight, laughing. “I’m patient.”
“Twilight, may I ask you something?” questioned the pegasus, sighing.
“Yes. What is it?” spoke Twilight confused. 
“What did you think about me?” asked Rainbow Dash with fear.
“Let me see… Active, faithful and overconfident” answered the alicorn.
“Overconfident?” questioned Rainbow Dash.
“Hehe, yes. But you have many qualities” spoke the alicorn. “Are you peaceful now after unburden?”
“Unburden? I’m not…” spoke her looking to the other side. “What are you talking about?”
“Rainbow, do not feign” commented Twilight angry. 
“Okay, but don’t tell this to anypony...” said Rainbow sighing.
“Why not?” want to know the alicorn looking at Dash.
“Because the other ponies would say that I’m insecure” spoke the pegasus. “And that is a bad thing.”
“Don’t worry about it. The other are your friends, they’re going to understand” spoke Twilight Sparkle looking deeply of her eyes. “And there is another thing that I would like to say to you…”
“And what is it?” asked Rainbow Dash without understand it. 
Twilight starts to do a deceived gaze at Rainbow without notice.
“Tw-ilight, are you okay?” said the pegasus.
“Uh?” mentioned Twilight ruddy. – Sure!
The student turns to the other side, worried.
“What happened?” asked Dash.
“Nothing, Rainbow, I’m fine” answered the alicorn sadly. 
“Aren’t you going to tell me about the thing that you were just about to tell me?” questioned the pegasus.
“It’s not important” mentioned Twilight.
“Fine…” spoke Rainbow looking again at the sky.
“It is getting dark, isn’t?” said the student.
“Yeah, I can see the sunset” spoke Rainbow Dash agreeing with Twilight. 
“What do you think about sleeping in my house?” questioned the alicorn.
“It is okay for me” answered Dash.
Twilight try to stand up, however, couldn’t do it. It were still exhausted.
“Want help?” asked the friend standing up.
“Are you okay?” questioned the student, worried. “I don’t want to see you faint again.”
“Don’t worry, I already recover all my energy and it is true now” said Rainbow Dash turning down, folding the legs.
“What are you doing?” asked Twilight.
“You can get on my back, I’ll take you there” answered Rainbow Dash.
Twilight get amazed about the situation and starts to think about it.
“Are you sure?” heckled Twilight Sparkle. “You can do it?”
“It’s not difficult, I’m an athlete and my specie is inure with doing a lot of exercises at the sky” commented the pegasus. “I insist.”  “Okay, thanks a lot” said the alicorn getting at Rainbow back.
“It’s everything fine?” questioned Twilight, worried.
Rainbow Dash starts to laugh.
“What it is?” asked the student confused.
“I thought that you were heavier” said Rainbow laughing and walking. “But you are so light.”
“Well… This is good now, doesn’t it?” commented Twilight. 
“Yeah, you are right” mentioned the pegasus and very silent Twilight started to laugh.
“What are you laughing at?” questioned Rainbow Dash, not understanding it.
“Didn’t you notice?” said Twilight smiling. 
“Notice what?” asked Dash looking at both sides.
“This sunset it is from when we freeze the time” spoke the student happy. “And going to be like this for a long time.”
“Oh, yeah” exclaimed Rainbow. “How I’m distracted.”
“Yeah…” said Twilight looking at the landscape.
“Okay, I didn’t notice but… What were you going to tell me some minutes early?” questioned Rainbow looking at Twilight.
