Ever since Pinkie Pie had found out about that book, "Hundred Night of Interest", she had come to library to clop. Everyday, like a clock between 12:00 to 15:00. She could time her clock based on when she came and left. This had been going on for two weeks now. Two weeks of clopping. *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* At first, it had not been that bad. She would come, pick a book, move somewhere private and started clopping. It was OK, a minor annoyance. There was room in the library and everyone was welcome. Pinkie Pie knew that if she brought the books to Sugarcube Corner, they might not be in the same pristine condition. At least here, there were good stands upon which place the book on. Back in Sugarcube corner, she would have to use tables or bed or whatever to hold it. *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* However, her coming every day and clopping was, indeed, starting to build up to critical mass on annoyance. She really, really wished she could do this at her home. She might not even care that much if the books suffered little. She just wanted her to stop doing it in the library. She just wanted one Celestia blessed day without that sound that kept repeating and repeating again and again and again and again... *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* Twilight notice that she was on verge to tearing her book apart and set it down. It was no good to get frustrated like this. She should have guessed that this would follow. Not to mention, she was technically not doing anything bad. She was just being... annoying. She didn't really enforce the "remain silent" rule, she herself was quite loud sometimes. She did get equally exited from some books and could disturb the peace in the library. *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* Of course, she could leave the library, but she lived here! She should not need to leave her house for someone else! Even though she had clopped herself, she had not found it as much fun as Pinkie Pie had. She could not get into it. She guessed it would take a special mindset to get into it. A mindset she obviously lacked. *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* "I guess I need to talk with her..." She muttered. This had been going for too long now. She had to put stop to this. While it might not annoy normal visitors that much, but to her, her who had to suffer this every single day, it was too much. She had to do something. Even if meant being a jerk to Pinkie Pie and deny her her fun. *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* Having made her decision, she stood up and walked down stairs. Then she walked to more secluded part of the library, where she saw Pinkie Pie clopping. She approached her, coughing to attract her attention. "Oh, hi Twilight!" Pinkie said without stopping. *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* "Hi Pinkie. Um, I know this is going to sound weird, but is that really that fun?" Twilight asked. She felt like an idiot. "YUP!" The pink pony said cheerfully."I have been thinking showing this to Rainbow Dash. I bet she would love it!" "Oh, really?" Twilight said. She could already imagine the horror of two ponies clopping in her library. *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* Steeling herself, Twilight finally spoke her mind. "Pinkie, I don't want to sound like an jackass, but... could you please do this somewhere else? It's breaking my concentration. I can't get anything done." Twilight said, trying to not to sound like a jerk. "I like you and you are my friend, but I can't take this anymore." "Oh, sorry Twilight, I didn't know." Pinkie Pie said, drooping her head. "But you know, this is the only place where I won't accidentally ruin them." She said, nodding towards the strand upon which the book of the day was. "I know you mean well, Pinkie. Maybe, if you keep good care of them, you could borrow them?" Twilight said, despite fearing the worst. However, the critical point where desire for at least one peaceful day in the library outweighed the value of the book. "In fact, I won't even get angry if they suffer little bit." She could hear part of her mind protesting at this, before being knocked out by the rest of it. "Really!?" Pinkie Pie said, jumping up and down. "Yes, really." Twilight said, nodding herself. "Pinkie Pie promise?" Pinkie asked, her eyes wide open, a smile on her face and body radiating excitement. That or unreleased desire to clop some more. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Twilight said, doing the motions and hoping she was not doing a mistake by allowing "THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" Pinkie Pie said hugging Twilight. "You're the bestest friend!" "Pinkie... air,.. need..." Twilight wheezed. "Oh, sorry." Pinkie Pie said releasing Twilight who gasped for air. "Didn't mean to choke you." "It's okay. Just, do the clopping somewhere else, okay?" Twilight said, rubbing her throat. " Actually, why don't you try this? This one is especially good, especially this part." Pinkie Pie said and made some room for Twilight. "I dunno..." Twilight said. "I mean, I just don't feel like it." "Oh you love it! It's so fun. Look this!" Pinkie pie closed her eyes and double the speed. *clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop**clop* "Uh... that's... uh... nice?" Twilight said. "Come on, try it!" Pinkie Pie said. Twilight sighed. She looked over the book and began. *clop*... *clop*... *clop**clop*... *clop* "Yeah, I don't think this is for me..." Twilight said. "Oh, it just takes some practice. Then again, Beathoofens 3rd Symphony is quite difficult." "I never get this clopping thing. I can get behind idea of using instruments, but just clopping with your hooves? I don't get it." Twilight said.
