A Blitzle stumbles into Equestria what will becom of him.
The young Blitzle, Wild Heart, finds himself in a strange land while fleeing for his life. Equestria is unlike anything he's ever seen, but his new friends, one of them a former Pokémon himself, are with him every step of the way.
Danger is just around the corner though, as Wild Heart did not come alone...
Deep within the Pinwheel forest a wild blitzle is on the run from a pokemon hunter.
"Weavile, go and retrieve the merchandise and be as careful as possible. I don't want it in too bad condition and take Rhyperior and Nidoking with you. Don't come back without it." the hunter said.
Quick as a flash Weavile bolted after the blitzle along with the other two. Shortly after entering the chase Weavile caught site of it's target and used icy wind to try and slow it down but blitzle heard it coming and quickly made a dive for a near by hollow log to dodge the attack.
"Ha, now we have you."said Weavile. "Now you two hurry up and block the exits." But before Rhyperior and Nidoking could get into position blitzle used it's quick attack to bolt out the other side of the log.
"Your going to have to be faster than that if you want to catch me again." blitzle said.
"You idiots, hurry up and go after him i'm going to try and cut him of." Weavile barked at it's companions.
Blitzle, now on the run again, started to leave all sorts of false trails for them to follow. "Ha I've lived in this forest all my life I now it like the back of my hoof." he said mummbling to himself as he doubled back over his path to try and throw off his persuers.
"There that should at least slow them down for a bit." blitzle said.
While trying to get away ,blitzle found himself in a section of forest that he hadn't been to in awhile. As he proceeded into the forest he found it increasingly hard to see due to an increasingly thick blanket of fog."Oh this is just great now I can barely see two feet in front of me at least it will keep me hidden longer and give me more time to think." he thought aloud.
Just as he finished his thought he heard a twig snap and a very shrill scream "AAAAAAAAAAHHH."
Reacting instantly blitzle ran to the source of the scream. upon arrival he found a large pack of what looked to be Mightyena made of wood all going after a strange looking pokemon that he had never seen before. it had a cream colored coat, red mane and tail and what looked to be a large bow in its mane.
Without a second thought he charged into the pack using his Wild Charge attack taking out three of the beasts in one go. But before he could recover from the attack they almost immediately started to regenerate.
"What the..." Blitzle said confused. "Okay this isn't going to get me anywhere I'm going to have to find a more open area to fight these things." In a flash he turned around, grabbed the strange pokemon and tossed it on his back then ran through the nearly restored beasts.
While on his back the strange pokemon started to point him in different directions and without a second thought he followed its directions while trying to stay ahead of the beasts now hot on his tail.
In what seemed like no time at all he found himself in what looked like some kind of orchard. Now that he was out of the forest he thought he would be safe but he was wrong.
Not two seconds after stopping to catch his breath he was tackled by one of the wooden beasts knocking him to the ground and sending the small pokemon sprawling causing it to hit its head on a tree knocking it out. As he got back on his feet he quickly rushed to the defence of the unconcious pokemon. "If you want it you have to go through me first." he barked angrily. That is when two of the beasts pounced but he knocked them away with his double kick attack.
Starting to get very annoyed now he decided to use his flame charge and ran after two other beasts unknowingly setting fire to a few of the trees.
Meanwhile in another section of the orchard a certain orange mare is hard at work when she looks up and sees smoke rising from her orchard. "What in tarnation could have started a fire on my farm." she said while she quickly galloped to stop the fire.
The fire didn't go unnoticed in the nearby town either as the residents of the town start to wonder what is going on in the orchard.
"That can't be good." said Twilight.
Just then a cyan blue pegasus came flying down." Twilight theres a fire at Sweet Apple Acres" she yelled.
"Okay, Rainbow have all the pegusi gather as many storm clouds as they can." Twilight said. Rainbow Dash then took off with a quick salute already knowing the rest.
"Flare I want you to go to the orchard and help anyway you can. I'm going to get Rarity and meet you there."she said.
"Right I'll see you there."Flare Blitze replied.
Meanwhile back in the orchard the fight wasn't going too well for the blitzle. He was covered in scratches and a few very bad gashes. "Okay i'll admit I under estimated them but I need to end this soon I cant last much longer." He thought to himself while breathing heavily.
Just then Applejack appeared at the edge of the fire and could see figures on the other side along with something laying on the ground and not moving. "No, Applebloom." she screamed realizing what it was.
Just then she saw a black and white creature launch a strange blue ball into the air. Shortly afterwards dark clouds began to gather and start to pour down rain.
Blitzle then turned to see her standing there staring at the one behind him. Thinking fast he grabbed it and gave it a good hard throw as all the beasts pounced at once. Applejack didn't miss a beat, she caught Applebloom on her back and turned just in time to see all the timberwolves land on the strange creature at once.
Just then there was a loud crack as a massive thunderbolt struck the pile and incinerated all the wolves at once.
Applejack just stared at the spot with a slack jaw as she watched the creature stand up completely unfazed from the blast. Just then she saw a large boulder rocket out of everfree straight at the creature but when it tried to avoid the boulder it fell breathing heavily.
"Get up, you have to move!" she yelled at it but it didn't budge, Then, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a white streak run straight at the boulder then quickly turn and hit the boulder with both of its back hooves.
"Flare, he's hurt bad." AJ yelled.
Flare Blitze then turned to look at the prone creature and realized it was a pokemon, one in serious condition by the looks of it.
He then turned to Applejack to tell her something but forgot it as a large purple blob landed next to them. He looked up to see two more pokemon emerge from the forest.
"Found you." Rhyperior sneered. He then began to charge for another Rock Wrecker attack but was swiftly interupted by a Double kick to the face.
"If you want him, you have to get through me first." Flare barked. He then quickly jumped back as Nidoking came charging out of the forest using his Megahorn attack.
"Then we will." Nidoking said with a smirk on his face. As they both began to charge at Flare a large purple beam came from no where causing them both to stop dead in their tracks and look in the direction the beam came.
"If you so much as touch him..." Twilight threatened her eyes glowing with anger. This caused both pokemon to take a nervous step back.
"Nidoking, Rhyperior retreat for now we need to come up with a strategy." Weavile commanded from the cover of the forest. With a growl they both did as commanded.
Twilight and Rarity both then used a fire supression spell to put out what was left of the fire that the rain didn't get.
Flare then ran over to the down pokemon and gently placed him on his back.
"Sorry about the fire." the blitzle coughed.
Flare being the only one able to understand him at the moment translated this to Applejack.
"Don't worry about it. I'm just glad your alive and that you saved Applebloom." Applejack said with a smile on her face and tears in her eyes.
Flare then translated this back and with a small smile blitzle then passed out from his fatige and injuries.
"We need to get him over to the hospital, Fluttershy will be waiting for us there." Twilight said.
"Hey Twilight, you mean to tell me that I had all the Ponyville pegasi gather all these clouds and..." Rainbow Dash started to shout only to be interupeted by her stern gaze.
"Not now Rainbow we need to get to the hospital now." she barked with a stern tone.
A few hours later blitzle woke up and was greeted by a pair of dazzling emerald eyes.
"Oh thank Celestia your awake." Applejack said as she gave him a firm yet gentle hug.
Blitzle, now with a confused look, then asked "Where am I and why can I understand you now?"
"Well for your first question your in Ponyville hospital. Your wounds were pretty severe. As for your second question I think I'll leave that to Twi to answer. By the way my names Applejack, whats yours?" She asked.
After a few minutes of sitting in silence the door to Wild Heart's hospital room opened to reveal a purple mare standing on the other side.
"So how is he?"she asked
As if answering her question he tried to sit up and look at her but winced at the pain that shoot through his whole body. Upon seeing this Applejack reached out and gently but firmly layed him back down and with a firm voice told him "Now ya' just lay back and rest, yer in no condition ta be movin 'bout just yet."
After the pain subsided he settled with just lifting his head, with some difficulty, to look at the two mares that now stood at his side "I'm fine but i just have two questions one, why is it I can understand you now when I couldn't understand any of you before?"
"Oh I just used a translator spell on you, it allows you to read and understand our language so we can understand each other. I'm relieved to know that it worked even though you were unconscious.Oh my name is Twilight Sparkle by the way." Twilight replied with a smile.
"Okay, I guess that will due for now" Wild Heart said with a slightly confused expression he then continued "As for my other question why are you even helping me? No one has ever cared for me sense I was abandoned shortly after I hatched."
Upon hearing what he has just said both mares just simply starred at him with shocked expressions on their faces. After about five minutes of silence they both then stammered "Abandoned."
With a nod he continued "Seeing as you can ask that Rapidash..."
"My name is Flare Blitz, so you know" came a voice from the doorway. Everyone then turned to see a large cream colored unicorn walking into the room. "sorry I'm late, did I miss anything?" he asked as he sat next to Twilight
"Flare, I'm glade your here I may end up needing you in a minute." Twilight said with tears forming in her eyes. she then motioned for Wild heart to continue and for Flare to listen.
Flare, now very curious as to why Twilight is on the verge of crying, turns to Wild Heart with a serious expression but says nothing.
Wild Heart, unfazed by his expression, continued "As I was saying, seeing as you know Flare, he can tell you that I am somewhat different from other blitzle. You see most blitzle are born black and white but as you can see I am not like most blitzle this is the reason why I was abandoned, because I was different." he said trying to motion to himself with a hoof but after another sharp pain goes through his body he confides to just moving his head and neck. Now that he thought about it he looked over his own body to find that most of it was wrapped in bandages from the base of his neck to the tips of his rear hooves. He then turned back to the ones in front of him to see tears making there way down both mares faces, Flare with a greatly softened expression on his face and twilight holding him closer than before.
Applejack, still trying to comprehend what was just said, then asked "Your own family abandoned you just because you were different from the others?" Her expression then turned to that of anger "If I ever caught word of one of my own abandoning a foal just because they were different I won't be held accountable fer my actions." Grittin' her teeth she stomped her hoof in anger, Flare and Twilight took a step away to avoid the mares wraith for they could see the fire in her eyes. Applejack, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself, then proceeded "By the way I wanted to thank ya again fer savin' Applebloom, I don't know what I would a done without my sister."
"That's quite alright...Applejack was it? I was just doing what I have done for years, protecting the weak from the strong. I made it a point for myself to protect those who can't protect themselves. I also try to keep myself from getting close to anyone to avoid any heartache from those I am protecting. That way they would learn to protect themselves, not have to rely on others to protect them and so they can make a life for themselves.This has been my lifestyle since I have been able to fight." Wild Heart stated.
"As one who would put his life on the line for those he loves and cares for I respect your decision and strength. It is an honorable way to live but not letting anypony get close to you is not truly living, for it will deprive you of true happiness and purpose in life." Flare replied.
"Well it's starting to get late so we'll see you later Applejack, Wild Heart" Twilight said as she and Flare got up to leave. Applejack turned to look at the clock and saw that it was a quarter till nine.
"See ya later you two." Applejack replied waving goodbye to her friends as they left "and as for you, ya need to try and get more rest so ya can get better." she said turning to face Wild Heart. Who simple responds by laying his head on the pillow and closed his eyes.
A few hours later Wild heart woke up to find Applejack asleep in the nearby chair. Quietly and with great effort he slowly crawls off his bed and slips out the nearby window, silently thanking Arceus that is room was on the ground floor and makes his way toward the town. "Sorry Applejack but I can't risk getting close to any of you" he said "but I also can't risk going into the forest in my current condition so town will have to do for know. I'll just have to stick to the shadows." he said
About an hour later Applejack woke up to find that Wild Heart's bed is empty and that the window to his room is open. Gritting her teeth Applejack alerted the nurse on duty about Wild Heart and then started to make her way to the library "Ah' hope Ah' can get Twi and Flare ta help me look fer him. If not then it's going ta be a long night" she said. A few minutes later she starts to pound on the libraries door trying to get there attention "TWILIGHT, FLARE YA"LL UP, PLEASE AH" NEED YER HELP"she yeld. After a few moments the door opened to reveal a rather wide awake Twilight despite the late hour but before she could ask her what was wrong Applejack started "Sorry Twi Ah' know it's late but this is important."
"It's alright AJ whats the matter?" Twilight asked.
"It's Wild Heart he up and left the hospital while Ah' was asleep. Ah' don't think he would risk going inta the forest in his current condition so Ah' think he would be somewhere in town but Ah' don't have any idea where he could be. Ah' was going to ask if ya and Flare could help look for him before he makes his injuries any worse."she said urgency clear in her voice.
"Alright AJ just let me go get Flare. He and I will search around town. You go look around your farm he may try going back there." she said and with a nod Applejack turned and bolted for the farm in hopes of finding him there.
After walking for a few hours, and dodging Twilight and Flare, Wild Heart found himself in a large open field where he decided to take a breather. He knew he was hurt bad and he didn't want to open his wounds again so he decided to rest under a small tree and look at the stars.
"Well at least that's one thing that hasn't changed, the stars still look the same and are still just as beautiful and comforting as ever" he thought aloud. A few minutes roll by as he watched the stars and before he knew it the sun was starting to rise over the horizon. 'Must of been later than I thought if the sun is coming up already"
Just then he heard the flutter of wings above him followed by a gentle voice "Oh my you shouldn't be out of the hospital your wounds haven't fully healed" When he looked up he saw what looked to be a flying butter yellow pony with a long, flowing pink mane and tail. He just simply stared at her as she landed next to him with confusion and surprise clear on his face. More focused on making sure that he hadn't indeed opened up one of his many wounds the pony started to immediately look over the bandages for any signs that he did.
After a few minutes Wild Heart decided to speak while the pony continued to look over his wounds "I don't mean to be rude but how, by the name of Arceus, where you just flying and who are you" he asked.
Being confronted with the question caused the pony to look up at him and subsequently shrink in on herself under the look he is giving her "Oh sorry I...i'm Fluttershy and I can fly b...because I'm a pegasus and my bones are lighter and hollowed out unlike the other ponies." Fluttershy replied in a soft, almost quiet whisper. After a few moments of silence Fluttershy went back to checking his wounds.
"If you don't mind my asking, why are you up so early? The sun has barely come started to come over the horizon" he asked
"Well you see I get up this early once a month to make sure all of my nocturnal animal friends are healthy and happy. I cant really check on them during the day because they are trying to sleep at that time and it would be very rude of me to wake them" Fluttershy answered more focused on her work than anything else at the moment.
After a few more minutes of sitting in silence, Fluttershy finally sat back and looked him in the eye "Well it doesn't look like you opened any of your wounds but you really should be more careful" she said in a more stern voice then before.
Just then they both heard the sound of somepony running and judging by the sound they were getting closer. Wild heart decided to turn and see who it was but he only got a glance before and amber hoof smacked him across the muzzle "Do ya have any idea how worried I've been. We looked every where for ya, even the farm, but when I saw ya weren't there I thought I would look around Fluttershy's seein' as it was the only place left ta look. Hear I find ya layin under a tree like nothin's happened." Applejack seathed.
Wild Heart just sat there stunned from the smack, he'd been hit before but this was something else entirely.
"Applejack please calm down before you frighten the animals."Fluttershy pleaded having noticed that a few of her animal friends have run off from the angry farmer.
Finally Wild Heart found his voice and gave her a strait look "Applejack I appreciate the concern but I'm just not comfortable with others taking care of me. To be honest I actually fear it."
Both Applejack and Fluttershy gave him a curious look before Fluttershy asked "Why do you fear having others taking care of you, if you don't mind sharing that is."
He let his gaze fall before he responded "The last time I let someone try and help me I started to grow attached to them. shortly after they were taken from me by a hunter and I couldn't do anything to save them that's why I vowed to myself that I wouldn't allow myself to get close to anyone, to avoid the heartache and to show them that the world is a harsh place to live in."
"Well that certainly clears a few things up" said a voice from behind the tree but it sound very familiar to the three.
"When in tarnation did you get here Flare and where's Twi" Applejack asked.
The unicorn in question just gave the three of them a smile as he came from around the tree "Just as he was telling his little story and I sent Twilight home to get some sleep. She was up all night looking for you and was doing everything but sleep walking when we meet up back at the library this morning." He said as he gave Wild a stern glare.
WIld simple glared right back "I didn't ask for anyone to help me so why are you all so concerned?" he asked through gritted teeth, these ponies are persistent.
"Cause yer hurt and you should be restin' and not walkin' about. Now are ya going ta go back ta the hospital quietly or do I have ta hog tie ya."AJ said sternly.
"I'd rather go face that Rhyperior in a one on one match than go back to that place." he said causing a few sparks to run along his muzzle.
"Alright then fine ya can stay on the farm where I can keep an eye on ya while you recover and that's that." she said then turned to flare." Can ya take him ta the farm for me and place him in the guest bedroom. Just ask Big Mac he'll show ya."
"No problem but what are you going to do?" he asked curiously.
"I'm gonna head on over ta the hospital and let the staff know what's happened here and where he's gonna be." she said .
With a quick nod Flare levitated Wild onto his back and quickly trotted off. Applejack then turned to Fluttershy "Could you go with them ta make sure he doesn't try any funny business?"
Fluttershy just simple nodded and flew after them and with her departure Applejack turned to head over to the hospital.
Earlier that same morning, in a clearing deep within the Everfree forest.
"I wonder what's taking Weavile so long, I know he said he was going to scout out the area but I didn't think it was going to take this long." Nidoking grumbled.
Rhyperior just turned and gave him an annoyed look "He only left ten minutes ago. It took about that long to find this clearing and to clear it of those strange wooden beasts."
Nidoking just grumbled to himself for the next ten minutes to the annoyance of Rhyperior at least it was better then listening to him whining he thought. Just then a loud crash could be heard from somewhere in the forest. This caused both pokemon to jump up and get into battle positions to be prepared for what ever it was that was heading there way.
Seconds past as they waited listening as the noise got closer and closer until it stopped all together. They both looked at each other for a moment before Rhyperior spoke up "What in the name of Arceus was that?"
"I have no.....WOW!" Nidoking started to answer before a serpent like head tried to chomp down on him but came up short by an inch or two from his horn causing him to jump back. At the same time an amused smirk formed on his mouth as he turned to Rhyperior "This should keep us entertained until he gets back."
"Indeed." Rhyperior agreed with is own mischievous smirk as the head disappeared back into the forest before reappearing above the trees with three more only causing there smiles to grow larger. Nidoking's especially, he simple loved a challenge to test himself. As the beasts made there way from the trees both pokemon's eyes bulged a bit when they saw that the four heads where all connected to one body. Undeterred, Nidoking charged at the beast as it sent one of it's heads after him again. Just as the head got close enough Nidoking spun around and slammed his tail into it while using his Dragon Tail attack. Using his momentum and the muscles in his tail, he launched himself into the air just as another of the creature's heads came down on where he was standing. Twisting in the air, he angled himself so that he was facing the back of it's head while it recovered and came at it like a missile while at the same time using Mega Horn as he made contact. Effectively knocking the second head out cold.
While Nidoking was busy with two of the beasts heads, he failed to see that a third was sneaking up behind him. Just as he turned around it struck but to it's surprise it didn't get any closer than a foot before a large boulder plowed into it and sent it flying to the side. It quickly recovered and looked in the direction of its attacker just in time for its face to get pelted with rock after rock after rock from Rhyperior's Rock Shot attack.
When the first head finally recovered from being whacked on the head it quickly retreated to join the forth head as it observed the fight. Seeing as the purple one was glaring at them and the other was still pelting it's third head with rocks the size of it's eye. they both decided to go after the purple one at the same time.
Nidoking just stood on the things second head with a large, almost evil, grin as it's two remaining heads charged at him, Rhyperior seeing this began to charge another Rock Wrecker attack as the head he was attacking slumped to the ground out cold. However when he went to fire he was suddenly struck dumb as both heads snapped shut just a foot from Nidoking as there looks went from hunger filled to slight fear as to what they felt on there feet and tail.
Nidoking and Rhyperior where both at a lose for words as they looked at each other and back at the beast.
"I leave you two alone with the simple order of don't attract any attention and both of you end up fighting a native"
At once, both pokemon quickly turned and looked at the beasts body along with its heads to see Weavile laying their with his head propped up with an amused look on his face. "What am I going to do with you two" he mused.
Still a little startled by his sudden arrival Rhyperior looked down at the things feet and back at it's tail to see that they had been completely frozen to the ground. With a smirk he turned and said "Well it's about time you got back. Nidokings been driving me crazy with his constant complaining."
Weavile stood and leaped off the things back and landed just behind the two then turned to Rhyperior "Quit your whinning and hurry up with this thing so I can tell you what I learned" he said suddenly becoming serious.
As one Nidoking and Rhyperior turned back to the beast who suddenly looked very terrified at it's current situation. Then ,to it's surprise, the ground below it suddenly erupted with power as Nidoking and Rhyperior used Earth Power at once to send the beast flying through the air and deep into the forest. When everything finally settled back down they both turned to Weavile who began to tell what he had discovered "Ok so apparently we somehow ended up in another world". As he had expected both of his comrades were slack jawed and speechless so he continued "As you both know I went to scout things out and found that this world is not inhabited by humans but by those strange pony creatures that we saw before and unfortunetly I was unable to understand them. But it would seem our target for some reason or another is able to understand them and communicate with them. So for now I want you two to stay here and out of sight of any locals that may happen to come this way, Understood." The other two could do nothing more than nod, there minds still reeling with the news that they were in a completely different world.
"Good. I'm going to scout some more to see if I cant find a way for use to understand them otherwise it could make our job that much harder." with that he leapt into the trees and was gone in a flash.
Meanwhile in a nearby bush two pairs of eyes(one green the other purple) where watching, and listening, the whole time then ,without a sound, they were gone.
The next morning, Wild heart is sitting in the guest room of the Apple family home starring out the window. Shortly after the sun has risen over the horizon he hears a knock on his door.
"Come in."
Applejack opens the door with just a little bit of surprise not expecting him to be up this early "I didn't expect ya to be up yet, not many ponies really are this early."
He raises a brow at this while keeping a neutral expression on his face "In case you forgot, I've been living on my own almost since I was born. I am a very light sleeper and I got more than enough rest at the hospital." He stated matter-of-factly.
Applejack walks into the room with a tray balanced on her back quickly filling the room with drool inducing aromas. "Well, like I told ya after I got back from the hospital, the doc told me to make sure that I change your bandages regularly for the next couple of days and to make sure that you get plenty of bed rest. But seein' as you walked all the way across town without even so much as agitating your wounds, I'm willin' to forgo that last one for now seein' as I've been in the same predicament before and know what it feels like." She sets the tray on the night stand and motions for him to lay on the bed "Now if ya would kindly lay down so as I can change those bandages ya can also eat yer breakfast.
Over the next few hours Wild Heart walked around the orchard helping were he could while at the same time being under close watch by at least one of the family members so that he doesn't over do it and cause one of his injuries to reopen. Though as he thought more about it there was one he hadn't seen all morning. Curiosity peeked he went to find Applejack. After a few minutes of searching he found her in the barn just as she was lifting some large baskets onto her back. "Hey Applejack, where's your sister, I haven't seen her all morning."
"She's still asleep in her room. I thought I would let her sleep in today seein' as what she went through yesterday.
"I see, but don't you think it is about time for her to be getting up it's getting pretty close to lunch." he asked her with a raised brow.
Curiously she looked up to see the suns position in the sky and sure enough it was getting close to lunch. "Huh so it is. Her friends came by earlier wanting to check on her but I told them to come by later due to the fact she's asleep. Though now that I think about it she may be up by now and just sitting in her room thinking she's in some sort of trouble."
"Is she in trouble after all I can't imagine anyone letting there young run around in a forest like that." he asked her curiously.
Her expression quickly went from thoughtful to serious in the blink of an eye. "That all depends on why she went into the forest to begin with. She knows it's dangerous and that she at least should have had somepony with her."
"I was looking for some herbs for Zecora." Both Applejack and Wild Heart looked to the barn opening and saw Apple Bloom walking in. "It ain't the first time that she asked me to get them for her sense I visit her often and where we usually get the herbs the wolves don't normally go near cause some of those plants are poisons to them. But when I tried to get back to Zecora's hut they ambushed me an' cornered me."
Applejack set the baskets down and walked over to her little sister and wrapped her in a tight hug. "I'm just glad that yer safe. I should've figured you were visiting Zecora but when I saw you and those timber wolves my mind just shut down."
Wild Heart took this moment to walk over. "I don't mean to interrupt but I was just curious about that bump you took on the head. You hit that tree pretty hard"
Apple Bloom looked up at him an smiled. "Don't worry I've taken harder hits than that sides, we apples are made of tougher stuff then that."
Applejack just chuckled before looking down at her. "I still want ya ta take it easy for a bit." Apple Bloom nodded her head.
Apple Bloom then let go of her sister and turned to give Wild a hug as well taking him by surprise. "Thank you for saving me from those timber wolves." He just sat there until she released her grip on him and turned to leave.
After she left the barn Applejack looked to Wild a bit concerned. "Are ya alright. You looked shocked that she thanked you like that."
After a second or two Wild shook his head and turned to her. "I'm fine its just that only one other has ever touched me like that before." As he says this his eyes seem to take on a sad look but also one of great shame and regret. Applejack seemed to notice this but decided to not ask and moved to pick the baskets back up. When she turned back around she saw that Wild had left. When she past the spot where he was sitting she noticed a few wet spots on the floor of the barn and stared in shook before she looked to the barn doors and thought it would seem that he isn't as cold as I thought he was.
