The Daffy Duck
It was beautiful afternoon in Ponyville, and in the lake, a certain duck was relaxing and enjoying a care-free life.

Daffy was just having fun with his life, but little did he know that he was being watched. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie peeked from behind a bush and watched Daffy. They were in a pranking mood today, pranking all sorts of ponies they could find. And right now, the two ponies had their eyes on Daffy.
"You have the popgun, Pinkie Pie?" Rainbow Dash whispered.
"Check!" Pinkie Pie whispered, pulling out a popgun.
"Boombox?" Rainbow Dash whispered.
"Check!" whispered Pinkie Pie, pulling out a boombox.
"It's showtime!" Rainbow Dash whispered, grinning.
Pinkie Pie slowly pushed the popgun from the bushes. Daffy saw the popgun and yelped. He then ducked under the water. After a minute, Daffy rose from the water and saw the gun was gone. Daffy sighed in relief.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Daffy screeched and flew out of the water. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie turned off the boombox and watched the duck fly off and laughed hysterically.
"That ducks flying south early!" Rainbow Dash laughed.
"What a quack-up!" Pinkie Pie laughed
Daffy was peeking from a tree and saw Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie's prank. Daffy narrowed his eyes at the ponies.
"Of course you know, this means war!" Daffy snarled.
"Wait until we tell Twilight about this one!" Pinkie Pie said.
"Yeah," said Rainbow Dash. But then she realized something. "Twilight! Spike!" Rainbow Dash yelped. "I have to watch Spike tonight! Shoot!" Rainbow Dash began to fly up as Pinkie Pie looked at the popgun in confusion.
"Wait, so you want to shoot?" said Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash looked bored by Pinkie Pie's antics as she grabbed her and pulled her up with her in the clouds.
They reached Rainbow Dash's house and saw Twilight Sparkle flying up to the house with Spike on her back. They arrived just in time for Twilight to ring the doorbell.
Rainbow Dash answered the door. "Hey, Twilight!" said Rainbow Dash.
"Hello, Rainbow Dash." said Twilight, smiling. "You and Pinkie Pie ready to watch Spike tonight?"
"We sure are, Twilight!" said Pinkie Pie, grinning.
"Alright," said Twilight. She looked down to Spike and smiled. "You be good, Spike." Twilight said sweetly as she kissed Spike on the forehead.
"Don't worry, I will." Spike said, hugging Twilight.
Twilight then flew off in the clouds as Spike stayed with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. Little did the ponies and Spike know that Daffy was watching them. "Pegasuses are the cwaziest ponies!" Daffy chuckled.
Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Spike spent the night playing games, eating pizza and telling stories. Now, it was time to go to bed.
"Hey, guys!" said Pinkie Pie. "It's 11:50!"
"Hmm, almost midnight." said Spike
"So it is," Rainbow Dash said, with mischevious grin. "I sometimes get scared though because of...well, you know."
Spike instantly turned to Rainbow Dash with a look of fear in his eyes. "What? What do I know?" Spike asked fearfully.
"You don't know?" Rainbow Dash asked in fake shock. "You don't know that ghosts come out at midnight?"
"G-g-ghosts?" Spike asked fearfully. Spike was very superstitious.
"Yep," said Rainbow Dash. "You never know when a ghost could come out...and meet you in your sleep...well, goodnight!"
Rainbow Dash instantly fell asleep in her bed with Pinkie Pie as Spike stood there in his little bed, shaking with fear.
Rainbow Dash turned over to Spike. "You're not scared, are ya?" Rainbow Dash said, smirking.
"Uh, no!" Spike said. "I'm not scared!."
"Well, if you insist," said Rainbow Dash, smirking.
Spike tossed over in his little bed, but eventually fell asleep as Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie did the same in their bed. But nopony knew that Daffy was slithering in their house. The duck went to the cupboard and found a bag of flour. Daffy snickered as he opened the bag of flour.
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were sleeping in the bed, until they heard some clanging. They both woke up alarmed. "What was that?" Pinkie Pie yawned.
"I don't know," said Rainbow Dash. "I think we should go check it out."
Rainbow Dash started to sneak downstairs followed by Pinkie Pie and they made sure not to wake Spike. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie got downstairs and they started looking around.
"Rainbow Dash?" asked Pinkie Pie. "That thing you said about ghosts coming out at midnight, is that true?"
"What? No," said Rainbow Dash. "That's just an old pony's tale."
"OOOOOOOOAAAAAAUUUUOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!" Screamed a ghastly voice.
"Although it could be true." said Rainbow Dash, starting to get worried.
"I thought I was in the clear...but no, I thought it was another prank and BANG! I fell..." said the voice.
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie's eyes widened. "You don't think-" Pinkie Pie started to say.
"Oh, but it is," said the voice as his duck shadow appeared on the wall.
Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie started shaking and sweating nervously when they saw the shadow. And when the two ponies turned around, all their courage disappeared when they saw the duck they pranked, except he was white as chalk.
"Boo," Daffy simply said.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!!!!!!!!" Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie both screamed in fear and shock. They both held each other and started screaming gibberish. But they opened their eyes and the 'ghost' was gone.
"He's gone!" said Pinkie Pie.
"Where'd he go?!" Rainbow Dash yelped.
Everything was calm and quiet for three seconds, until...
"YAAAAAAUGH!!" Daffy yelled as he began banging on pots and pans, scaring Rainbow Dash and PInkie Pie out of their wits and causing them to split up in the house.
"And the fun begins," Daffy said as he grinned.
Pinkie Pie was looking around in the house, as slowly as possible. Her flank was high in the air, and she was tip-toeing across the hall. Pinkie Pie didn't know Daffy was right behind her, holding a needle.
Daffy then poked Pinkie Pie in the flank with the needle causing her to yelp in pain and jump through the roof holding her flank. She then came down as she saw Daffy waiting for her. Daffy pulled out pink underpants. "What color are these undies?" Daffy said.
"Well, they're-" Pinkie Pie was about to say. But Pinkie Pie was then hit on the head with a hammer by Daffy who was also holding a ringing alarm clock.
"Tsk-tsk-tsk," Daffy said, shaking his head. "I am so sorry, but time's up. Now you'll have to pay the penalty." Daffy then pulled out a cannon and lit the fuse.
Pinkie Pie screamed in terror and ran off to another part of the house.
Then out of the cannon, came out a little flag that said 'BANG!'. Daffy grinned as he looked at the pink underpants from earlier. "I borrowed these from a giant talking cheese! Hoo-Hoo!" Daffy laughed as he ran off in another part of the house.
Rainbow Dash was now in the living room, looking around for the 'ghost duck'. Rainbow Dash then saw something under the blanket of her couch. Daffy then popped out, dressed up like a warthog.

Daffy then disappeared under the blanket. Rainbow Dash looked confused as she was about to look under the blanket again. Daffy popped out again dressed like a Chinese woman.

Daffy pulled his skin open in a cartoon-fashion and revealed his bones, confusing and terrifying Rainbow Dash at the same time. Daffy then once again disappeared under the blanket.
Rainbow Dash yelped when she saw Daffy behind her again, this time dressed as a scholar.
"Oh, Mammy!" Daffy said. "It's your little boy, Sammy! Coming home from Alabamy! Fry up those eggs and hammy! Don't flim-flammy, Mammy!" Daffy then ran in the closet.
Rainbow Dash started to open the closet, until Daffy popped out and jumped on Rainbow Dash.
"Aaugh!" Rainbow Dash yelped. "Get off! Get off!"
"Yeehaaaw! Giddyup pretty pony!" Daffy yelled. Rainbow Dash bucked Daffy off her back and he flew out the window. Rainbow Dash looked around and saw Daffy nowhere in sight. Rainbow Dash sighed in relief, until she saw Daffy laying on a nearby cloud.
"Lovely weather, isn't it?" said Daffy, smirking.
Rainbow Dash yelped and closed the window. She then bumped into Pinkie Pie who was running her direction.
"Did you get him?" Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie both said in unison.
"No, I didn't!" said Rainbow Dash.
"Neither did I!" said Pinkie Pie.
They both heard the closet door shake and Daffy popped out again, dressed as an Arabian prince.

Rainbow Dash couldn't take it anymore as she started banging her head on the wall. "When is this gonna end?!" Rainbow Dash yelled.
"Well, techically, it is midnight," said Daffy, ripping his prince clothes off. "So, I can't leave until-" Daffy looked at his watch and saw it was 12:59. "It's time for me to go!" Daffy said in sorrow. He pretended to get weak as he collapsed on a very confused Rainbow Dash.
"I have to g-g-go now, time for me to be fitted for more wings!" Daffy said, coughing.
Daffy then said in a western accent. "Tell Auntie Em to let Old Yeller out!" Daffy coughed more and then spoke in a British accent. "Tell Tiny Tim I won't be coming home this Christmas!" Daffy coughed more and then spoke more. "Tell Scarlet that I...that I..."
"That you what?" Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie asked.
Daffy took a deep breath. "THAT I GIVE A HOOT! HOO-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOO! HOO-HOO! HOO-HOO-HOO-HOO!" Daffy yelled as he bounced out the window.
Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash both looked out the window and saw Daffy was really gone this time.
"What..just...happened?" asked Rainbow Dash in complete confusion.
"I have no clue." said Pinkie Pie. "But it's a good thing that screwy ghost is gone!"
"Yeah," said Rainbow Dash as she and Pinkie Pie walked upstairs. "I need some sleep."
Rainbow Dash opened the door to her bedroom, only to find Spike was there.
"Spike?" asked Rainbow Dash. "What are you doing up?"
"Well, it's just...I had a bad dream." said Spike, looking down.
Rainbow Dash's confused look turned into a sympathetic look. "Oh," said Rainbow Dash. "Hey, Pinkie Pie, Spike had a bad dream."
Pinkie Pie looked at Spike's sad eyes. "Aww," said Pinkie Pie. "Why don't you sleep with us?"
"You mean it?" Spike asked, brightening up.
"Sure kiddo," said Rainbow Dash, nodding.
"Alright!" Spike said happily as he jumped in Rainbow Dash's bed, followed by Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie.
"Goodnight!" said Spike.
"Sleep tight!" said Rainbow Dash.
"Dream of bedbugs tonight!" Pinkie Pie said as she started snoring, as Rainbow Dash and Spike drifted off to sleep.
Rainbow Dash noticed Spike cuddling closer to her, as Rainbow Dash put her arm around Spike and let sleep claim herself.
Daffy was just finishing reading the story to his friend, Bugs Bunny.
"So that's really what happened?" said Bugs.
"Yep!" said Daffy. "That's how Equestria was made!"
Bugs looked un-amused as he then turned to the audience. "Goodnight, folks." Bugs said, turning off the light.
