A human enters equestria story. Yeh i know there are a lot like these but i want to throw my own ideas into the mix. With a lot of magic involved surrounding said human. Enjoy :3
Hey guys, I'm Michael. You would think that i was just a normal everyday human but my life is about to take a twist for the better or worse. I don't know but i'm about to have the ride of my life. This is my story. The story of how i came to equestria...and became a hero.
This is my first fan fic that i came up with. Its been a long time thought up but i hope you all enjoy it. I came up with it with my good friend applejack. Also known as QuoterPony. Check out her page as well here on this link. Enjoy :3
Michael, A Human at the age of 21 and a known writer for a fan fic website. Yeh that's right he was a writer of stories. Not exactly the best profession he had but i paid the bills since his stories had a ton of favorites and donations to him to make more stories. He enjoyed it when he could make a really good story out of thin air. His only wish was that one day he could experience one of those stories. Tho that kind of thinking can cause a bit of criticism from those who knew him. His mother died the year before and he never knew his father so he was alone. He was used to it but he still wish there was more to his life. Little did he know things were about to change for the better.
One night as he was writing his latest fan fic he noticed an add pop up on the screen. It hard a mark on it like some purple stars in some pattern. He didn't know at the time what the symbol meant and out of curiosity he went ahead and click it. Static then filled the screen and first thought. 'Damn...a virus' 2nd thought' Wait....why is it coming off the screen?' The static flowed out and changed color as it wrapped itself around Michael. Light faded then appeared as he flowed and twisted and flew through the air. He felt wind and magic all around him as he was launched through open air before, Boom. He lay there before a statue of Luna and Celestia in the town square of ponyville in a small crater teeming with magic that softened the impact.
Time past, he felt no pain, just comfort....or a sense of comfort...whatever bed he was on wasn't all that comfy but for some reason the feeling was still there. Then he decided. The first sense that came was hearing. It was quiet but he could hear a bit of shuffling. He was not alone. Then Smell...like...peroxides and healing balms...he guess a hospital. Then he decided to slowly open his eyes allowing them to adjust to the light.
His vision was blurry at first as he reached his hand up to his eyes to rub the sleep from them. What did he do last night? Oh that's right. His computer fried and sent him here. He then heard a calming Regal voice fill the air. "So the strange being has awoken. Excellent." He heard this voice then removed his hand from his face and turned to see where said voice came from and upon seeing this sight his eyes were wide open in shock and wonder. What he saw before him was...a horse?...no a bit smaller...a pony?...but this was no normal pony. This was a white pony with a multicolored mane which is...a bit hard to explain. The best way he could explain it was it flowed with such splendor he had a hard time not staring. then he noticed another pony right next to this one. A smaller purple pony with.....a ...horn....
"Wh....what...the..." He was a bit speechless at what he saw before him and then he noticed the taller one had a horn as well...and ...wings. His mind was a bit...blown then.
He stared for a bit and was about to say something else when he heard that regal voice again. This time he saw that the tall pony was that one speaking which surprised him. "Is something bothering you? You've been staring for awhile now." She said as Michael then spoke up.
"Your.....ponies....and your talking. Thats just not possible." He said as he leaned up a bit watching them as The purple one remained quiet as if she were observing how he acted. The Large one then spoke again.
"Of course. Your a long way from home it seems. This is the first time i have ever laid eyes upon a creature like you here in Equestria. I am Princess Celestia and this here is my prized student Twilight Sparkle." She said glancing down at the purple pony staring at him as she nudged twilight to get her attention. Twilight stuttered a bit before smiling.
"Very nice to meet you." The purple pony/unicorn said.
Michael stared for a bit then looked straight forward. "Uh...ok....talking ponies....i'm gonna pass out for a bit." He said as he fell back out cold again.
Time passed as he woke up again. Who knows how long he was out that time as he looked around him. Still in the hospital bed it seems. He then noticed he was not alone still as he turned his head to the right seeing the tall Pegasus unicorn pony there looking out the window. Her horn was glowing as the sun was rising. He watched not knowing what she was doing, that was till she turned to him.
"Ah i see your awake again. Sorry about earlier." He had no words. Celestia walked over and took a seat beside his bed making him cringe back a bit. "I assure you i mean you no harm stranger." She said in a calming voice as he became a bit more relaxed, and then the question came.
"Where am i?" He asked. Celestia smiled as she watched him.
"You are in the land of Equestria. Right now you are in the ponyville Hospital. You appeared out of nowhere and came crashing down in the middle of ponyville in some magical field. Twilight was the one who found you and brought you here." She explained.
"A magical....field?....Yeh right t...." He was about to say no such thing as magic but then decided against it cause he remembered her horn and how it was glowing. "Wha...what were you doing just now?" He asked catching her attention again.
"I am the Princess of the Sun. What you just witnessed was me using my magic to raise the sun for the new day." She said as he opened his eyes in disbelief. "But....that's impossible. The sun and moon should orbit on there own?" "It may be that way where ever you came from but here it is mine and my sisters duty to raise and set the sun and moon every day." She said as he shook his head trying to figure that out. So she was basically a goddess who could raise and set the sun. Well now he's seen everything. "Now for a question of my own....What are you?" She asked as he looked at her again.
"I...I'm a Human. My name is Michael. I....i'm not from around here....I've never even heard of Equestria or Ponyville. I'm from a place called earth." He said. Well might as well get it all out of the way and avoid any other questions. Not so lucky.
"Earth? In all my years i have never heard of this realm nore of humans. Do you know how you got here?" She asked tilting her head slightly.
"I...I don't know. I was writing a story at my computer last night and was about to save it when all of a sudden a light surrounded me....everything after is a bit....fuzzy." He tried to remember any other details but it was blank. He would try to reach for it but it felt like open air.
"Very well. Is there anything else you wish to know?" she asked. She didn't ask that many questions. He thought she would be a bit more curious.
"Well....i guess since you have never heard of humans that must mean i'm the first...and only one here. What now?" He asked looking back up at the ceiling.
"My student Twilight has volunteered to allow you to stay with her until we can figure out more about you. She will keep an eye on you and determine whether or not you are a danger to us. In the meantime i will find out how you got here and see if there is a way for you to return." Celestia said as she stood and headed for the door. "i will ask nurse red heart to have you release into Twilights custody soon. So for now. Welcome to Equestria." she said as she left the room leaving him alone again.
He sat there in quiet contemplation letting his thoughts wander. 'A new world....filled with ponies....and i'm the only human.....damn.....well...I got what i wished for....even if it isn't what i thought it would be but being the only one of my species in a world of ponies...this should be interesting to say the least. Lets see how this turns out' He thought to himself. Little did he know those thoughts would be the defining moment for the rest of his life.
Time passed quickly for Michael as he lay there. He heard the door open as another pony came in wearing what he believed was a nurse's outfit and had a red heart tattoo on her...flank? He shook his head as he leaned up. "Ready to go?" she said as he nodded. He climbed out of bed as she led him through the door out into the main lobby of the hostpital. There he saw the purple unicorn from before waiting for him.
"There you are. Glad to see you better." she said as he nodded. "I never got your name."
"Ah....Um...My name is Michael...Pleasure." He said although he was still getting over the fact he was talking to a purple colored Pony. Either he was crazy and this was a dream or things just happen.
"Well then Michael Princess Celstia has already told me the details. So you ready." She said. He nodded in return as she led him out the door. As he came out the scent of fresh air waved over him as he adjusted his eyes to the light. He saw houses and building all around along with an arrangement of other colored ponies. Ok now his mind was completely nuked. He shook his head to avoid getting a major headache as he followed Twilight. He noticed a lot of staring eyes upon him as he followed Twilight down the street and heard a few whispers.
"What is that? "I don't know." "Its tall." "Maybe he's friendly." "What is he's a monster."
Michael just shook his head to ignore the whispers. But then all of a sudden his adrenaline spiked as he noticed a pink blur at the corner of his eye coming at him as he quickly ducked as the pink blur flew over him. There was a loud crash to his right as he looked at him. "What the hell!" He yelled as he saw what looked like a pink bubblegum colowed pony with a very fluffy main and tail splayed out against the wall.
"Pinkie?" Twilight said as the pink pony peeled herself from the wall and shook her head.
"Uh you ok?" Michael said as he walked over and kneeled over to the pink pony who turned to face him as a gasp escaped her and before he could react this time she basically football tackled him onto his back and looked into his face.
"Oh Your a new pony/thing. I've never seen you before in ponyville and i know everypony in ponyville but I've never seen somepony like you around. Whats your name?" she was speaking so fast he had to take a minute to figure what what she said. He was about to say something when Twilight spoke up.
"Pinkie This is Michael. A human and yes he is new. Michael this is..." Twilight explained before being cut off. "i'm Pinkie Pie. I've never heard of a Human before but eh your new so you know what that means?" Pinkie asked. "um...that yours gonna get off of me?" He said. "Nope silly nilly it means a Welcome to Ponyville party for you. I'll go set up." she said before disappearing from on top of him as he lay there in disbelief. "OK what just happened?" He asked as Twilight just shook her head. "Don't worry she does that to Every new pony that appears in ponyville." Twilight said. "So i take it i can't get out of this party." He said as he placed his hands behind his head and flipped up onto his feet nimbly. "Afraid not. That's Pinkie for you. Party Extraordinaire and the most random pony in ponyville. I'd try not to question the things she does. It helps." She said as she continued on with him in tow.
As Twilight and Michael made there way along Michael kept having some strange gut feeling he was being watched and kept looking around. That was till he ran face first into a tree. Well technically a tree home, Twilight's home. He looked up at it and was amazed. "Whow!" He exclaimed and Twilight giggled at his reaction.
"Yeh i know. Kinda stands out. Come on in." She said as she opened the front door and walked in as he followed having to duck under the door to get in. "Spike you home? Our guest is here." She called out. No other sound came and she sighed. "Great he's probably over at Rarities again." "Rarity?" Michael asked in wonder. Seemed like a nice name. "Rarity is one of my friends here in ponyville. She's the best fashion designer here in ponyville and one of the elements of harmony alongside me. Her Element is Generosity. You'll know when you see her." Twilight explained as he nodded and looked around. "Make yourself at home."
He walked around the library getting used to his surroundings and then noticed a door labeled basement/laboratory. His curiosity hit him as he opened the door and walked down the stairs. He looked around the basement and saw all of the science equipment littered around the place. He walked through the stuff making sure not to break anything. The room kinda reminded him of a movie he saw once. 'What was it again....treasure planet...that room th....' then everything went black.
He heard the sound of stuff moving at high speed then everything came back and he was laying on his back in the room. He put a hand on his head just as Twilight opened the door to the basement and looked down. "Oh Celestia Michael! Are you ok?" she asked as she came down to his side just as he leaned up. "Yeh...kinda have a head....ache." And that's when he saw it. A little box like thing floating on the now cleaned table. "What the?" Twilight saw it to and tilted her head. "I don't remember that being there." she said as she looked it over and Michael knew exactly what it was but he had no idea how it got here or why he blacked out. Did he make it in that moment of darkness or did something hit him and leave it there for him. So many questions filled his head as he got up and reached to pick it up. He held it in his hand looking it over.
"It can't be." He said seeing a button on top of it. "Do you know what that is?" Twilight asked with a bit of concern and wonder in her voice. Michael just nodded as he pressed the button. The device left his hand and started unfolding it self making itself flat into what looked like a floating surfboard with 2 pads and a small engine like thing in the back and bottom for thrusters. The 2 pads were for feet placement with a side lever for the foot to press for acceleration and one on the other pad for sails that have yet to be seen. It floated there before him as Michael stared with a look of astonishment, fear, and excitement. "I can't believe it....Its an Air glider...but...i've only seen this in a movie i saw once before. Why...did i do this?" He said to himself. Twilight heard him and tilted her head at him.
"Did you?" She asked. "I don't know....maybe if i did i don't remember. I came down here and looked at all this stuff. Next thing i know everything went black and...there it was." He said as he kicked it lightly and it returned to being the cube it was before and he picked it up. His explanation astonished Twilight as so many questions filled her head. Michael saw this and placed a finger on her lips to shut her up before she could even say the first question. "No i don't know how it happened and please don't bombard me with questions i can tell you i don't know for all of them." "But i think i already know how you did it Michael." She said once he removed his finger. "How?" He asked now curious.She just smiled as her horn glowed lifted to cube from his hand before her. "Magic. You used magic." This statement caught him off guard. "What? But...I...Humans can't use magic. That's...Impossible." He said. "Come on. I'll tell you upstairs." Twilight said with a giggle as she walked back upstairs carrying the cube with her in her magic grasp as Michael followed her up.
As Michael came up he saw that Twilight was already sitting on the nearby couch gesturing for him to sit down across from her on the chair there. He did so and the device was floated into his hand. "Can you do something for me Michael?" "Sure." He said a bit confused. "I want you to focus your mind on that cube and imagine it floating up from your hand." She said. "So...you want me to try to levitate it?" He asked. "Yes is a sense. i want to know if my theory is correct." She said watching as she pulled out a notepad and a floating quill. He sighed and looked at the device and focused on it. He stared for over a minute until he felt a tingly sensation flow through him and into his hand as the device shifted a bit then he stopped as it took most of his energy to do that.
"I see. You have magic in you but its underdeveloped. Meaning it'll take some time to develop. I was told by the princess this might happen cause of how you came here through that magic field but i had no idea you would be able to use that magic in you. I mean as you said humans can't use magic but here you are using it." Twilight said a bit excited. "So...i just used magic....AWESOME!" He said a bit excited himself. The words 'Your a Wizard Harry' came to mind. "I know. Well anyways its getting dark outside and its time for bed. You can use the guest room for the night. Its right next to my room upstairs." She said as she got up after writing some notes down on the notepad and led him to his room. Michael looked in the room and saw a dresser set up next to the bed with a window next to it with the bottom of the bed facing the door. He thanked twilight as she walked back to her own room and he plopped down on his bed due to exhaustion and was quickly asleep.
Michael woke looking up at the ceiling as the light of the morning sun shined down on his face through the window. 'That is not a sight i wanna wake up to.' He thought to himself as he looked away from the light and leaned up in bed only to come face to face with a cyan mare staring at him. The first thought that came to his mind was, 'See the rainbow, Taste the rainbow....Dafaq?' He was started by her that he jumped and fell out of the bed. "Hey Twilight the monkeys awake." She said with a laugh. "He's a human and his name is Michael." Twilight said as she came in seeing him on the floor along with the laughing Rainbow dash. "Rainbow!"
Rainbow stopped laughing after a bit wiping a tear from her eye as she looked at Twilight. "Sorry i couldn't help myself." "Ugh.....another thing i don't want to wake up seeing." Michael said with a groan as he stood up tall as he glared back at Rainbow for the rude awakening. "Who are you?" He asked.
"Pfft you don't know me? Wow. I'm Rainbow Dash. Fastest Flier in all of Equestria and the only Pegasus that can do the Sonic Rainboom." She said as he look unimpressed at first. That was till She said Sonic Rainboom. "Wait what? I have never heard of you but what is a Sonic Rainboom." He asked rubbing the back of his head. Before rainbow could talk Twilight Interrupted her. "Its when she fly's real fast that she breaks the sound barrier. So now that introductions are out of the way i have breakfast ready downstairs. I know your an omnivore Michael so i made you some Eggs and pancakes." Twilight said as she walked out and Rainbow followed after her. Michael stood there for a moment in disbelief as he shook his head and grabbed the Air Glider of the night stand by the bed.
He came out of the room and walked downstairs seeing Rainbow looking through one of the rows of books on a section labeled Daring do. 'Must be her favorite.' He thought as he took a seat at the table and noticed a little Green and purple dragon walking out of the kitchen with a plate in his claws as he took a seat across from Michael as he looked at him like he was trying to read Michael. "So your the Human Twilight told me about. I didn't expect you to be that tall. I'm Spike. Twilight's number one assistant. Nice to meet yah." He said. "Likewise. I'm Michael." He said as Twilight floated a plate of Eggs and pancakes over to him and her own plate of pancakes before her. He smiled and took a bite and his eyes went big. "Whow. This is amazing. Best eggs I've ever had." He said as he ate fast. "Thanks made them myself." Spike said proudly as Michael looked up at him and gave him a thumbs up as he swallowed. He thought for a moment and looked at Rainbow. "Hey Rainbow. I know you don't know me all to well but you wanna see something cool later on?" He asked. She looked over raising an eye brow. "Sure. I guess. What is it?" She asked. "You'll see. Twilight you may wanna see this as well." He said as she nodded.
Breakfast went by fast then as he took the Air Glider and walked toward the entrance to the Library/home and went outside as Rainbow flew out above him and looked down at him a bit confused. Twilight followed after with Spike on his back as she closed the door behind them. "So whats this about?" Twilight asked. "You know the board i made?" He asked and before she could answer he pressed the button on the device and it unfolded itself before them into the floating board. He stepped up on it and once his foot made contact on on of the pads he felt them press down on it securely so they would not slip as he balanced on it. He was facing where the front of the board was facing his right side as he pressed a lever his his right foot and there was a snap and a sail erupted out from in front of him and a bar for him to hold on to. Rainbow Just stared in amazement and Twilight with curiosity. Spikes jaw hit to ground.
"OK now lets see how fast this sucker can go." He said as he hit the accelerator with his left foot and a split second he was there as the thrusters powered up and he was gone like a rocket flying through the air. He yelled out in joy as he held on. Rainbow saw this and her jaw dropped. She quickly recovered and chased after the flying human. He quickly got control and figured out how to move around as he leaned forward making the board even itself out as he flew along through the air. He eased up on the accelerator till he was at cruising speed. He looked down at ponyville below him. "Whow its bigger then i thought." He then saw the Rainbow blur coming at him as she caught up.
"Wow that was Amazing how you just lifted off like that. You should have seen Twilight and Spikes faces. the wind literally blew Twilights mane back." She said Excited now. "Wow. Crap i wasn't looking. I would have loved to see that." He said over the wind. "Hey what else can that board do?" She asked as he just grinned in return. "Well lets find out. Try to keep up. Fastest flyer in Equestria." He mocked as he stepped on the first lever making the said retracted down as he leaned forward making the board point down as he hit the accelerator making it shoot toward the ground. He pulled up at the last second as he entered the ponyville market and flew through it without the sail as he dodged ponies left and right as he flew through. He flew to the side and grinded on a roof top and flew toward Sweet Apple Acres as he flew through the fields of apples trees avoiding tree's left and right. He noticed Rainbow right on his tail as he flew on. He caught and apple from a tree and took a bite as he did a 360 on the board and flew out of the field cutting through a tree sending leaves flying as he took to the air. A minute later and he stopped in front of Twilight again blowing her mane back again right as she got it straight again. He laughed as he jumped off the board and Rainbow flew right into his back hugging him.
"That was AWESOME! You were going so fast through town and managed to dodge all of those ponies and how you did that 360 at the apple farm was so COOL!" She said looking excited as Michael just laughed and pried her off him and put the apple he had in her mouth. "Yeh yeh i know." He said as he kicked the board and it folded back up into the cube and flew right into his hand. Twilight took the time to straighten her hair and that was when she spoke. "Wow i never expected that to happen. What did you say you called that device?" Twilight asked. "I call the the Air Glider. I can see this coming in handy when getting around easily. I think i scared a few ponies back there so lets head back in before they come looking for whoever that was." He said with a grin.
Rainbow told them she had to get back to the weather team cause her break was over so she said her good byes and flew off as Twilight, Spike, and Michael walked back into the Library/Home. Michael spent the rest of the day reading up on Equestrian customs and history so he would get used to hanging around a bunch of ponies and he took the time to read up on magic and how to harness it like he did with the cube. Twilight went ahead and sent a letter to the Princess telling her of her Discovery of Michael's device and his ability to use magic. After dinner Spike burped up a letter from the Princess as Twilight picked it up with her magic. It read,
Dear Twilight and Michael,
I see that he is enjoying his time in ponyville. I'm also intrigued about his ability and new Device. I will take the time to do a bit of research of my own about a non-magical creature using magic from the royal archives. When i have come up with something i will send another letter your way. In the meantime please keep an eye on Michael. Also Michael if you are reading this I have enclosed in the letter some bits for you to start out with and also tickets to the next Grand Galloping Gala That will take place here in Canterlot this coming fall. I do hope you can attend.
Princess Celestia
As Twilight and Michael finished reading a bag of bits and a few tickets appeared before them on the table. Michael walked over and opened the bag to see about 300 bits inside. Twilight was amazed about how much was in there but Michael was a bit confused on the currency of the world in which Twilight explained to him quickly. She also told him to make a visit to Rarity for some new cloths when he got the chance.
That night he lay in his bed looking up at the ceiling thinking back on how he got to this world. So many things flew through his mind. He fell asleep after a bit and dreamed.
In his dream he was sitting on a couch in front of a t.v. that was filled with static. He stared at it for a bit when he saw something step up beside him. He looked at the Alicorn before him she looked like Celestia but a Dark blue color and he main flowed like stars of the night sky and she was a bit shorter then Celestia. He stared for a minute before he spoke. "Let me guess....Luna?" He asked. "That is Princess Luna to you Human. So this is the type of dream you had in mind?" She asked as she walked over and layed down on the couch next to him as he looked at her. "Yeh i don't have many normal dream nore nightmares. These types of dreams just make me remember." He said as he sat there. Luna tilted her head at him and looked at the Tv. "Were you planning on watching something?" She asked. "Maybe.....you wanna watch something with me?" He asked looking back at the Tv. "Sure what did you have in mind?" She asked looking at him with a warming smile as he looked back with a grin. "How about a movie from my world. i was thinking treasure planet....wait how do you know what a tv is?" He asked in wonder. "I've been getting some reports from a human expert called Lyra Heartstrings. For some odd reason she has a complete knowlege base on human culture....but i would try avoiding her if i were you...she has a strange obsession for.....hands." Luna said looking a bit irritated. "I see well then shall we watch." He said as she nodded and the screen changed and started playing. "Luna i was wondering something." He asked. "Please speak your mind." "Well its about my magic and how i came here. Normal humans should not even have this kind of magic nor skill. We advance through science and understanding. We are unable to use magic. I think i may be the first ever human to be able to do it here and yet....I don't know how to explain it....things are just confusing." He said. "Maybe its the fact i'm alone in a world filled with colorful talking ponies or maybe its cause...maybe its the magic in me talking for me...the excitement of it all." He said.
Luna just smiled and wrapped a wing around him then as he turned to look her in the eyes. "There is no reason the fret over something like this dear Michael. You should know the saying. Things always happen for a reason. I cannot really help you with this problem cause it it yours to solve and yours alone. I'm sorry." She said with a little nuzzle "Alright...thanks anyways." He said as they continued watching the video.
Michael woke to the sunlight in his eyes again. He groaned as he went about his morning ritual of getting up, dressed, cleaned, and fed. He noticed Twilight was not there when he came downstairs and saw a note on the table. He walked over and picked it up and read it.
Dear Michael,
Sorry for leaving to early but the princess needed me for something important so me and spike went on to Canterlot. I would take the time to head over to Rarities for some cloths...I know you wear them a lot tho i'm still a bit confused why you do. I won't question it but you may need to explain that when i get back. But for now take your time. I'll be back later tonight so enjoy yourself.
Twilight Sparkle
He sighed as he grabbed the Air glider from the table and walked to the front door slipping the note in his pocket. He made his way out into the morning sunlight closing the door behind him then noticed something at his feet by the door. A pink envelope. Only one name ran through his mind when he saw it. Pinkie Pie. He picked up the envelope and opened it to see an invitation to non other then his own party for Twilight. "Figures...i almost forgot about that. So that's tomorrow then. Well plenty of time to get new cloths for that then." He said to himself realizing he was talking to thin air and face palmed. "Gotta not do that." He said as he put the envelope in his pocket.
He turned and let the Air Glider unfold itself and flew into the air looking around town. 'Twilight drew a map on the note for me showing me the way and a side note. Hmm just look for the fanciest building in town. Can't miss it...ah there we go.' He thought as he saw the boutique and landed at the front as he hopped off the board making it fold back up into his hand as he placed it in his other pocket. He examined the building top to bottom and the words high class came to mind. It looked really fancy but yeh its a fashion shop. Of course its high class. He walked up to the door and knocked 3 times. He then heard what sounded like... You guessed it a high class female voice...Yeh i know i can't think up any other way to describe it. Bite me.
"Come in!" The voice said as he opened the door. He walked in after ducking under the door and he saw the controlled chaos littered around the shop. Cloths and other fashion items littered around the place as he examined the place then remembered why he was there. He gave a quick cough as he spoke.
"Um i heard that a miss Rarity worked here by Twilight and i came by to ask for some cloths?" He said as a White Unicorn pony came around the corner with a cutiemark shaped like 3 pristine diamonds and purple hair curled and a high class fashion sense. The moment she layed eyes on him her eyes went big as her pupils shrank to the size of pinpricks and...you guessed it. She fainted right there.
"Crap..." Michael said face palming as he walked over to the fainted pony and picked her up. She was surprisingly light for a pony as he placed her on the nearby couch, kneeled there, waited for her to wake. After about 10 minutes she woke slowly and looked around until her gaze fell upon Michael then. She was about to scream when his hand went over her muzzle to silence her. "Please do not be alarmed. I am not here to lay any harm upon you nor your establishment. I am a friend of Twilights and i came by, by her words. I heard you were the fashion designer in town and i came by cause i was looking on getting some cloths. By the way i am human and my name is Michael." He said as he let his hand come off her muzzle and she stared for a bit and gained her composure again.
"You said your friends with twilight?...Hmm well then if your friends with her then i guess i can trust you. You said you needed some cloths? May i ask why? You do realize most ponies go without cloths right?" She asked as she sat there staring at his apparel with a look of disgust on her face for his fashion sense.
"Well Humans are different from normal ponies. We never go anywhere without cloths cause being seen naked in public is like a taboo to us and this is the only set i have. So i came by to see if you can help me." He said with a kind look in his eyes.
She looked up at his eyes and smiled. "Well of course i'll help you. Besides i think anything i make will be better then those....dreaded cloths your wearing now. is there a certain design you wish for?" She asked in wonder. He was caught off guard by this and took a moment to think then a thought came to mind. He grinned as an assassins creed thought came to mind. "Actually yes i do. Let me ask what kind of color so you see me wearing?" He asked. This made her think for a bit. "Well i would need to see the rest of your body for that. I would suggest you strip down and let me test some colors of cloths to see. Your main color is black so it should lesson the colors i could choose." She said as a sweat drop formed on Michael's head. "Um OK but i'm leaving my pants on." He said catching her off guard. "I'm sorry but i must ask you take them off. They will clash with the color idea. Why leave them on." she asked. He sighed and leaned in to whisper in her ear. He told her the reason and her eyes went wide again and a blush came to her face. "OK! Ok. They stay on!...Oh my you should have said so sooner. i apologize." "Its ok. So shall we get started?" He said as he stood up and she nodded as she led him to the back.
An hour passed and Rarity nodded getting the design from Michael and the measurements she needed. "Hmm...this design is fairly....unique but nothing is a challenge for me. I'll have it done by the end of the day. Do you want me to ship it to Twilights or do you want to pick it up?" She asked. "Just send it to Twilights. I think i wanna wear it to Pinkies party tomorrow." He said which caught Rarities attention. "You know Pinkie Pie?" She asked tilting her head. "Yeh?...i guess you know that crazy mare?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Yes i am. She is one of my good friends. Probably one of the most random and happiest mares in Ponyville. She knows about every pony here and just loves parties. She is also one of the Elements of harmony. The element of laughter which really does fit her personality. Some advice tho darling. I would suggest you don't question some of the things she does. It'll save you a headache later." She said with a slight grin. "Right. So what about payment?" He asked. "Payment? Of please Perish the thought. You are a friend of Twilight and thus a friend of mine. Think of this as a Welcoming present from me and a gift for giving me this task at making a new design for cloths. Just when someone asks where you got it. Tell them it was from me." She said as he nodded and said his goodbyes and left the shop.
"Well then that went well. Nothing to crazy....dangit stop talking to myself." He said slapping the side of his head. 'Hmm guess i better have a look around. Get better aquanted with my surroundings.' He thought as he brought the Air Glider back out and took off into the air. He noticed the field of apples tree's from his first flight test yesterday and thought he would get a close look. He then flew toward Sweet apple acres.
A short time passed as Michael landed in one of the many apple trees over looking the Apple family farm. The board folded back into its cube form as Michael retrieved it and placed it in his pocket as he turned his attention back to the farm. 'Now if i heard right from Twilight, one of her good friends worked and lived here....what was her name?....Oh right that cereal name. Applejack....I'm so using that against her.' He thought with a sly smile. He grabbed one of the apples from the tree he was in and then heard it.
"THIEVEN VARMITS!" The voice said as he looked back at the farm house to see and orange earth pony wearing a stenson come out the front with some rope in her mouth. He watched her come straight toward the tree he was in as he quickly moved to the next tree before she could notice him. She ran up to the tree he was in before and bucked it as some of the apples fell out. A look of surprise came to her face as she looked around.
"Missed me there." Michael said as he dropped out of the tree behind Applejack but found that to be a mistake as she reared up to buck. Adrenaline kicked in again as both his hands came up and grabbed her back hooves as the impact picked up the wind around them blowing leaves from the ground away from them.
Applejack felt the force from it and looked back in disbelief as Michael looked up at her with the same look. She jumped forward and turned to him. "What the hay was that?...Wait no what are you?" she asked as the rope dropped from her mouth.
"I don't know myself but i can say this. Hi my name is Michael and i'm a friend of Twilights." He said as he crouched down at her height ninja style with a big grin plastered on her face. "and i'm a human." He added. This surprised Applejack to the point to where she sat down.
"What the hay?...You...You just blocked my buck...not even my brother can do that...not without getting knocked out from the force." she said in disbelief staring at him. "But i see the truth in what you say....wait you said your friends with Twilight? Ah well i'm super sorry about that." She said.
He just smiled and laughed at that. "Its ok Applejack. Get me a hat like the one your wearing and we'll call it even. Speaking of which i came by cause i'm looking for a job. I saw this farm and flew by to see if you needed an extra pair of hands." He said in which she just raised an eyebrow. "Wait...You said flew? But you ain't got no wings on yah." "No but i got a device that allows me to fly. I'll show yah later."
"Oooook...Well if you were looking for a job you came to the right place. Follow me. I'll introduce yah to the family and we'll see what you can do around here." Applejack said as she stood up and walked back to the farmhouse with Michael in toe as he looked around. "How far does this orchard go?" He asked in wonder. "We have over 100 acres of apple trees and were the number one producer of apple related products in all of equestria...Didn't Twilight tell you that?" "No she was a bit vague on the details. She only told me who her friends were, there elements, and what they were like." He said with a sigh.
"That's just like Twi." Applejack said as she led him to the front door and walked in ahead of him. He came up behind her and ducked his head from the door to get him. 'Dang these pony size doors.' He thought to himself as he noticed 3 other pony's in what looked like the kitchen area. There was a big red stallion with a half a green apple as a cutie mark staring at him from the table. 'Yeh i could take him.' He thought. There was also a small filly there staring at him. He recognized her from town when he came through on his first test flight of the air glider. 'Must be the little sister.' He thought. Then there was the other green pony in the room. She looked a bit old, maybe the mother?...No granny old.
His train of thought was interrupted when Applejack coughed. "Well then Apple's This here is Michael. A friend of Twilights." She said catching there attention. Once the little Filly saw him she gasped and in that moment Michael had a new face cushion. "Oh my god its you. You were the strange thing flying around ponyville yesterday aren't you! That was so cool. I'm Applebloom. I'm Applejacks little sister and a member of the cutie mark crusaders." She said. "Applebloom get down off him. That's rude." Applejack said as Michael just raised a hand to silence her. "Its ok. I'm always good with kids." He said as he lifted Applebloom off his face and placed her on his shoulder. The big stallion then came up. "I've never seen a being such as yerself. I'm Big Macintosh. But you can call me Big Mac. You don't seem to mean us any harm so i think we can be friends." He said. Applejack raised an eyebrow at her brother then in wonder. 'What in tarnation? He's never spoken that much before...maybe its cause Michael looks bigger then him.' She thought.
"Its cool man. Pleasure to meet yah. Ow." Michael said as he felt a prod in his side and looked down to see the old pony there. "Eh your a spry fellow aint yah. I'm Apple smith but everyone around here calls me Granny smith. I'm these 3 grandmother. Been looking after then for as long as i can remember." She said with a smile.
"Its a pleasure to meet you granny smith. I'm actually here looking for some work." He said with a nod. "Well we already finished with the bucking for today but if yer not busy come on in tomorrow morning and we'll get yah set up Michael." Big Mac said with a nod as he returned to the table. A thought then came to Michael then. "Oh that's right i gotta get back to Rarities. She should have my cloths ready." He said catching Appleblooms attention on his shoulder. "Hey your going to Rarities? Can i come with. Her little sister Sweetie belle and i are friends. I wanna see if she's home." She said. "Sure but you gotta ask your family cause i wanna ride my air glider." He said as applejack perked up.
"Air glider?" Applejack asked. "Oh that's right you didn't see. Come on outside and i'll show you." Michael said as he walked out carrying apple bloom on his shoulder. Applejack followed reluctantly as he stood out in front of the farm house. He pulled the air glider from his pocket and clicked the button on it. He threw it out letting it unfold before them till it was set floating above the ground before them. "Whow! That's....A might strange...You said you flew here on that?...I..I don't think i feel right letting you take Applebloom on that." She said staring at it unsure.
"Its ok. I got a safety harness attached to it and it has a sail." He said as he hopped on it and flipped the front lever letting the sail unfurl before them. He then pulled out a neon wire from the side of the glider. "Just wrap this around Applebloom and if she were to fall she would be safe. This will real her back in to safety. Trust me i wouldn't suggest this is i knew it wasn't safe." He said in a calming tone. Applejack then gave in. "Fine but if i find out she got injured i'll make sure you can't walk nor fly ever again." "Heh don't worry." He said as Applebloom took the neon line and wrapped it around her waist strapping it on as he picked her up and placed her on his shoulder. "Hang on now." He said as Applebloom wrapped her hooves around his neck. "Be back later." He said to applejack as he took off hearing the squeal of excitement in his ear from Applebloom as they took off into the air.
Michael kept a steady pace as to make sure his passenger did not fly off due to the g-forces in the air rushing past them. He glanced every so often at Applebloom to make sure she was still holding on and each time he would always see the happy, excited face looking all around in the air. He then noticed a rainbow blur shoot by in front of him and level off next to him.
"Heya Rainbow. What cha up to?" Applebloom said from his shoulder as he turned his head to see her there.
"I was about to ask yah the same thing. Michael you taking the squirt for a ride?" Rainbow asked keeping pace with him.
"In a sense. I'm heading over to Rarities to drop Applebloom off and to see if she completed my new attire yet. I went by earlier to ask for a design for some new cloths to be made and asked her to deliver it to Twi's. But i decided to get it early. The anticipation was killing me." Michael explained as he saw the boutique coming up.
"That's cool. I'll join yah. I wanna see what she made for you as well." Rainbow said as Michael started moving down to the ground. Rainbow landed first as Michael followed.
"Ok Applebloom your off first." He said as he took her with both hands unlatching her from the wire and setting her on the ground as he hopped off himself folding the board back up. "Never get used to that." He said as he noticed how jittery Applebloom was.
"Oh wow wait till i tell Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo about this. They will be so jealous." She said as she ran inside the boutique with inhuman speed. Michael blinked at that and shook his head. He followed her in with Rainbow dash in tow. He noticed the place hadn't even changed from when he was last in there save for a few ribbons and cloths hanging around and Rarity at the sewing table. "Yo rarity." He said catching her attention. she turned to see him there and smiled. "Oh welcome back Michael and the same to you Rainbow dash. Good i just finished with the final piece of your outfit. I thought you wanted me to take it over to Twilight's. Change your mind?" He just nodded as she smiled and brought the outfit over to him as he took hold of it looking it over in awe.
"Wow...It looks just like what i envisioned. I must say you are a goddess with the needlework Miss Rarity." He said with a grin as she blushed at the comment. "Why thank you Michael. I hope you like it. Would you like the try it on?" She asked. "Ah no i think i'll save it as a surprise for the party." He said. "Aw man i wanted to see it." Rainbow interjected as Michael turned to her. "Well to bad Dash you'll have to wait like everyone else. Trust me this will look awesome." He said as he folded the cloths up just as he heard the sound of hoofs trotting up toward him. He turned to see Applebloom and another little filly who kinda looked like Rarity.
"Let me guess....Sweetie belle?" He asked in wonder as the little filly smiled. "Why yes that's my name mister. But how did you know?" She asked. Cuteness level overload. Warning. "A lucky guess. You look like a Sweetie to me." Smooth move genius. That just cause the filly the blush. "Why thank you mister. So your the human Applebloom told me about....your reeeeealy tall." She said "Sweetie belle that's rude. Sorry about my little sister Michael." Rarity said looking between them. Michael just laughed at her comment waving his hand. "Its quiet alright. I know my own height compared to all of the ponies around me. Pleasure to meet you sweetie belle." He said with a smile as he looked outside and noticed it was getting dark. "Hmm it seems i have overstayed my visit. I apologize Miss Rarity but i must take my leave. Twilight should be back from Canterlot by now and if she is i don't want to worry her." He explained.
Rarity only nodded with a smile. "Well then i won't keep you. I hope to see you again in the near future Michael. You are always welcome here as a friend." she said as he made a little bow and walked out with Rainbow following after him. They had decided to walk back to the library instead of flying so Michael could stretch his legs. "Well aren't you the smooth talker." Rainbow said with a sly grin. "Well of course. My grandparents had to beat the manners into me each time i was at there house. Contrary to popular believe i used to be quiet the rebel back home. Always getting into trouble after my parents passed away. I was picked on a lot back home due to my attitude and got into a lot of fights. Needless to say i won each one." He said. "Wow. Wait you fought?" "Yeh. Had to. Each fight always he me backed into a corner with no hope of escape. But that was always my advantage. I learned since then to always be prepared for anything and always stay alert. My grandparents whom i was staying with at the time always wanted a better life for me and were always trying to teach me proper manners and etiquette. They would always drag me to there formal events because they were always trying to get me...as they would call it, A nice lady friend. Needless to say there efforts failed....not because of me but mostly no girl found me interesting." "Really? How can a girl not find you interesting. You built that awesome glider and your personality is like...whats the word...pretty cool." Rainbow said with a grin. Michael glanced at her before looking back ahead.
"You may say that now but back home most of the girls i knew didn't ever see that in me. I won't go into details but they always saw me as the tough geek. That was when i started writing fan fics. Story's based off T.V. Shows. Like writing up an alternate scene in a play like what would happen....that's how i found my self here...I think." He said with a sigh. "Wow....and i thought my life was tough." Rainbow said looking down a bit. "Hey don't you worry none about me. I got over that awhile ago....but thanks for listening...i need to get that off my chest for awhile now." He said with a grin as she smiled back. They kept on walking as night fell upon Ponyville and Luna looked down on the human in wonder.
"Little human...i do so wonder about you." She said to herself as she took off from the cloud she was on and into the night sky.
Pinkie was waiting in the shadows of sugarcube corner waiting for Michael to come in. Other ponies were doing the same cause this was the day of his surprise party and she had already sent to invite out. They waited for a moment staring at the door till one pony got a bit impatient. "Where is he? He's late for his own surprise party." She whispered. Pinkie glanced over at the pony tilting her head. "Oh silly-filly he'll be here. This will be fun." she whispered back. "Oh? I do hope it will be." A voice said behind Pinkie. She turned her head to see Michael kneeling there right in her face. Needless to say the next second Pinkie screamed out as Rainbow turned the lights on startling everypony seeing Michael was already among them.
He sat there laughing his (excuse the language) ass off as Pinkie stared for a moment and laughed as well. "Wow I've never been surprised at a surprise party meant for the pony i was supposed to surprise before. You got me good there." She said with a giggle as Michael stood up and Pinkie and all the other ponies got a good look at what he was wearing. It was a white Assassins outfit Adorned with a few straps and a hoodie with a belt wrapped around the waist with a strange symbol on the buckle. (see link in authors notes)
"Heh i know. I tend to do that a lot with a lot of the parties i go to." He said as everypony looked at him in awe, confusion, and a bit of laughter. Some even looked in fear a bit. He then turned to address them. "Sorry to spoil the surprise but i tend to be the one who always ends up surprising everyon...pony. My name is Michael. Its nice to finally meet you all." He said giving a little bow to everypony in the room. He noticed in the crowd some of the ponies he had already met besides pinkie and rainbow. He saw Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Sweetie belle, and Applebloom at one of the table with 2 other ponies he did not know. One was a bright yellow pony with pink hair which covered one of her eyes and a little orange filly with purple hair.
He smiled as Pinkie got the party started with some music drawing the ponies attention away from him as we walked over to the ground. He first noticed the orange filly come up to him. "Heya your the guy who took Applebloom for a ride on that Air glider thing right? I'm her friend Scootaloo. Nice to meet yah. Hey think i can get a ride on that sometime?" She asked. He smiled and kneeled down petting her head. "Sure when i get the time. Got nothing better to do." He said as he noticed her grin grow a bit which kinda surprised him. He also noticed the yellow pony which Twilight informed him earlier who's name was Fluttershy staring at him in wonder.
He stood up and walked over. "You must be Fluttershy. A pleasure to finally meet the Element of kindness. I hear you love taking care of animals." He said with a smile. This caught her attention as she let out a quiet eep...CUTENESS ALERT! "Oh um...yes i do take care of animals. That's my special talent you see and i do so love caring for the little creatures but I've never seen a creature like you before. What are you exactly?" She asked in a quiet voice. My god that voice was a mixture of cuteness and beauty. "Well my little yellow friend i am a human. Think like an intelligent hairless ape and don't ask if i like bananas. I'm allergic to em anyways. i still don't know why." He said with a little laugh. She nodded with a little smile as he walked over to the food table as Pinkie appear next to him out of no where. 'How did she....' "Hey where did you even come from to sneak up on me when we were trying to surprise you. We had the back door watched as well." She asked tilting her head in wonder.
"Ah well i figured you were gonna throw me a party cause of the invite so i decided to surprise the surprise party. I knew the exits would likely be watched so i improvised. I had Rainbow scout out for me in exchange for tickets to the wonderbolts show she likes so much. She informed me where everyone would be in the bakery so i decided to take an entrance no one would suspect. The chimney. You see what i lack in strength and speed i make up for in cunning and skill. I can silence my steps and movement so no pony can hear me coming which allowed me to sneak up on you as i came down the chimney and i had rainbow flip on the lights." He explained with a smile. Pinkie stood there a bit dumbfounded.
Spike came up to them from the crowd and noticed Pinkie staring at Michael and he laughed at her expression. "Oh Celestia you broke Pinkie Pie." He said as he walked over to them making Michael turn to see him. "That's a feat in on itself. The only pony who managed to do that before was Rainbow dash." He said as Pinkie snapped out of her daze. "Oh hiya Spikey. How yah liking the party?" she asked as Michael grabbed a muffin from the table and took a bite. "Oh its cool as always Pinkie. You've outdone yourself." Spike said as Michael looked around. "You know what this party needs?" He said noticing A certain Dj pony with a musical note as a cutie mark at one of the tables. "Dub-step." Just as he said that everything went dark for him.
After a second everything came back as he was standing in front of a Dj table looking out at the ponies in sugarcube corner as they were staring at him. Some looked in anticipation, some with curiosity, and some were just shocked. He looked out at them and back up from the table. "Wha...what did i just do?" He asked to no pony in particular as Twilight came up. "You used magic again. One second you were at the food table and the next a bright light came from your hand and This table and speakers just appeared out of nowhere. Then you appeared in a flash right behind the table. You used an appear spell with a teleportation spell." She said in awe as he looked at the equipment. "But i don't remember even doing that. I blacked out when that happened." He said as he placed a hand on the table "Maybe its a sub-conscience thing that can happen spontaneously. i'll have to figure this out." Twilight said.
Michael ignored her as he looked over the table. He noticed an Mp3 player attached to a laptop on the table and speakers were all around the room. He smiled as he remembered his years as a private Dj back in high-school. It was a hobby for him to remix a few songs as he looked out on the crowd of ponies in Sugarcube corner and the Dj pony staring at him in wonder. "Ok then might as well not waste this opportunity. Yall ready to hear some good music?" He said as the crowd of pony's cheered for him as he started up the system and scrolled through the songs on the laptop from the Mp3 player. He recognized most of the songs. They were from his playlist back home on his computer before ti sent him to Equestria.
He picked out a song he loved to remix. He put on Bounce by Calvin Harris. (see link in authors notes) As the song came on he set the bass low. That was until the beat started picking up then he turned it up high as the room filled with music. Everypony listened then started dancing to it. The ponies were really getting into the song as the Dj pony came up to Michael with a smile. "Wow sweat music dude. Names Vinyl scratch but my Dj name is Dj Pon3. Think i can have a look at your music?" She asked with a smile. "Sure. Always willing to help a fellow Dj out. Names Michael but my Dj name is DJ Bishop." He said as she smiled at that. "Nice!" She hopped up next to him and looked through his music not recognizing any of the songs but knew what they were cause they were all labeled under techno, electric, hip-hop, and party. "Wow...I don't know any of these songs." She said glancing at Michael. "That's cause there not from this world. There from my world. Back there when i was in school i had a part time job working as a Dj in a few clubs in town. I'm a music fiend and loved it but that was behind me and i kept the skills." He explained with a grin as the music changed to the next song which was Counting stars by Onerepublic. (see link in authors notes.)
Michael heard the song and smiled. "And this is my jam." He said as he picked up a mic from the table as the music started up and he started singing along with the music catching every ponies attention.

The beat then picked up as the ponies started bobbing there heads and cheering for him as he continued singing.

Then Michael hoped over the Dj table waving his hands to the crowd of ponies getting them hyped up as he sang more loudly.

The song ended as everypony cheered for Michael and Vinyl as he looked out on the crowd as he let the attention sink in. He smiled then looking out on them all just as darkness took him and he collapsed.
Michael opened his eyes to see he was back within his dreams again. He glanced at Luna in wonder as she had her eyes on the T.V. watching a movie called jumper. She looked back at him with a smile. "What happened to me." He asked breaking the silence between them.
"You passed out at pinkie's party. We are still unaware how but the magic in you is growing. Its making you stronger day by day." She said looking down a bit. "My magic? I haven't used it much. Last time it happened it was at pinkies party. Do you know why i black out each time i use it?" He asked. "Its because it has a mind of its own. You do not control it more then less it being an extension of your body. It uses your body as its vessel. If you can learn to control it you can use it at will. Remember when Twilight had you try to levitate that book the first time?" "Yeh...i could barely lift it." "That was your magic denying your attempt to control it. You need to fight it back and control it. Otherwise it will remain wild and worst case scenario....it will kill you." Luna said as Michael sat there for a bit in silence. Then he broke down laughing. Luna glanced at him in wonder. "Does thou think this funny?" "Thou?...wow...and yes i do. If that was all i had to do then this should be a piece of cake. Challenge accepted." He said pounding his fist into his palm as the world around him dissolved into nothing.
He woke up in his bed at the library Wearing his normal attire instead of the Assassins outfit he wore at the party. He grinned as he hopped out of bed and walked out of the room looking around seeing Twilight sitting on the couch in her living room reading as usual. "Hey twilight!" He called out startling her making her jump up into the air. "Dear Celestia don't do that. You nearly gave me a heart attack." she said glaring at him. He laughed a bit at that then stood straight. "Well i'm about to head over to Sweet apple acres to start my first day with a job. Don't wait up." He said as he went for the door. She tilted her head when he noticed him walking away. "Hey wait why didn't you tell me that sooner? I wanted to do some experimenting with your magic today." She called after him making him stop.
"Ah well that will have to wait. Sorry i didn't tell you sooner but i was preoccupied it the party and all....speaking of which i gotta ask you about that later like why i passed out there." He said as he started walking to the door again. He opened it just to have some pony bump into him. "oh...sorry about that." The pony said in a quiet tone. Michael looked down into the eyes of a yellow pony with a pink mane and tail. She look back up at him as her eyes went wide and pupils became pin pricks. "Uh hi..." He said as he waited a moment for her response. He waved his hand in front of her for a moment and saw she was frozen either in fear or shock then sighed. "Twilight you gotta guest."
Twilight walked over to see Fluttershy there frozen. "Oh that's just Fluttershy....i think you broke her with your looks." "Figures. You mind taking care of her. I gotta get going." He said as he moved past her and out into the open. He got on his air glider and took off into the air fast just as Fluttershy broke out of her daze. There was a bit of yelling behind Michael but he ignored it as he took off toward sweet apple acres.
He landed in front of the farm house letting his Air Glider fold up into his hands in which then he started hearing the sound of loud thumping coming from the field of apple tree's. He followed the noise till he came upon Applejack and Big mac bucking tree's. He watched for a bit as they managed to buck the tree's making the apples fall into the buckets without any falling out onto the ground.....Seems legit. "Yo!" He called out startling Applejack but Big mac turned his head un-phased. "Well howdy there Michael. Good to see yah again." Big mac said as he continued working and Applejack came over. "So you ready to get to work? I figured since you managed to stop my kick the other day maybe you can show me what you got with these here tree's." She said with a grin.
He gave a little laugh at the thought and nodded. "Yeh seems i can give it a try. Besides this isn't the only reason i'm here." He said making Applejack tilt her head slightly. "Huh?" "I found out i can use magic but its not controlled. Remember at the party? How i managed to put that Dj table together real quick but i couldn't remember that i did? That was the controlled magic. I just found out i need to learn how to harness and tame it." He explained. "How'd yah figure that one out?" she asked a bit more confused. "Well...a friend told me. I'm not giving out names here. Sorry. Well anyways lets give it a try shall we?" He said walking up to an un-bucked tree. He looked the tree over and readied his fist as Applejack watched in wonder. He took a deep breath and calmed his mind. He let all his thoughts fade away as he wrestled with the magic in his mind. Blackness started to form at the edge of his vision but he pushed it back as his hand started to glow with magic and it looked like it was steaming with magic energy. Once he gathered it all up he got control and let loose punching the tree hard. A loud booming sound was heard as he hit the tree making all of the apples fall out easily.
Applejack stood there dumbfounded at what he just did. He stepped back to see his handy work. Where he punched there was an imprint of his fist hitting the tree and he also noticed the magic was still enveloping his hand as he waved it away wiggling his fingers again. They didn't hurt and there wasn't even a scratch on his hand from the punch. "Well....i think i thought up a name for that little move there. Force punch." He said looking back at Applejack who managed to shake her head and smile. "Whew-ey that was some punch. I even felt the wind come off that there hit. If you can do that again i think you might do good here on the farm." She said. "Yeh and i think i accomplished my task at controlling my magic. I can feel it now flowing through me. i have control....well then lets get to work then." He said with a nod as he went to the next tree.
He spent the rest of the day helping applejack on the farm force punching the trees and collecting the apples. Once he noticed it was getting dark we wiped the sweat from his brow just as Applejack came up to him. "Whew That took less time then i thought, I mighty appreciate your help there Michael. Why don't you stay for dinner. i think you more then earned it...also i can get your pay for the day." She offered with a smile. He nodded and followed her into the farm house.
He sat at the table and the apple family really did live up to there name when it came to dinner. It mostly consisted of apple related products. He spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying the meal and answering questions that Applebloom asked him. He avoided a few since he didn't recall some details...mostly those surrounding why he wore cloths and what female humans looked like. After he finished eating he got his pay from Applejack, thanked her kindly and walked out. He felt the weight of the coinage in the bag Applejack gave him and smiled as he placed the bag in his pocket. He flew on back to the library but stopped when he noticed a dark figure flying right at him. As it got closer he recognized the figure as Princess Luna.
"Princess Luna. To what do i owe this gracious visit from the Mistress of the Night." He said as he held the rail of the air gliders sail. She used her magic to form a cloud underneath her so she could stand instead of float there before him. "I noticed you had tamed the magic within you." She said with a smile. "Have you been spying on me?" He said back with a sly smile. "Hardly. Your magic seems to ease itself out. Its hard not to notice it when you bashing tree's with it. i just came to inform you ahead of time that my sister wishes to see you again and asked that you come to Canterlot tomorrow." "Why did she not come to me herself today?" "She had some royal duties to attend to today and had no time to visit and could not come tonight cause of our sleep cycles. She Sleeps at night while i sleep at day. Only on rare occasions do you see both of us up at the same time." she said as she gave him a look over and smiled.
"Something catch your eye you majesty?" He asked in wonder as he held the rail with one hand. "Please call me Luna. I think we are past Pleasantries...and no i was just looking at that strange contraption you are standing on...may i ask what it is?" "Its and Air Glider Luna. It was the first thing my magic made on its own when i arrived here. It was when my magic was untamed i believe when i thought up the idea at the time my magic took over and i black out. It then used my body to create this Glider i stand on now. it also did the same thing at my Welcome to ponyville party." "i see....well anyways i must depart. Its been nice chatting with you and i hope to see you again tomorrow at Canterlot." She said with a goodbye nod and took off back into the air heading back to the castle on the mountain. Michael stood there in the air on his glider for a moment watching her fly away before flying back down to the library to sleep and rise the next day.
A few days passed without incident for the human Michael. He spent those days practicing his magic with Twilight and watching her practice her spells on spike. He had the thought that Spike could be part guinea pig and laughed at the thought a bit. He spent some time over at Applejack's helping out on the farm and playing with the CMC tho he made sure they stayed out of trouble.
Michael layed on the balcony after a week of being in Equestria. He was meditating but Twilight saw it as napping. She came up to the balcony and watched him nap. She had been asking him questions of his world and he had answered but she could tell he was holding a lot of info back which he said was for her own good. But Twilights curiosity about him was struggling to break free. "You know its not nice to stare." The voice startled Twilight as she jumped into the air until she realized it came from Michael who had his eyes open staring right back. "Something on your mind?"
She took a breath to compose herself and spoke. "Why are you holding information from me about your home world? I thought you agreed to tell me everything." she said as she sat down there. "I do not want you seeing me in a different light based on those details of humanity. We are not perfect and our past is not the best to tell who we are...I only told you the good bits for a good reason. I'm not like most humans. I'm unique and i would like to keep it that way." He replied as he still lay there looking up at the sky. "What does you being different have to do with not telling me the details?" "No human can use magic. We use our intelligence to create technology in place of magic for our daily lives. We have advanced so far there talking about colonizing the moon and are still exploring mars...another planet in our solar system. But the resources we used to get that far came at a price. Our world is in turmoil. War is spread all over and death is just another part of life that can come to soon at the push of a button. There are those few humans that wish to change the world for the better like me and then there are those who fight said humans to bring them back down to there level. Aka the bullies." He explained.
Twilight stared at him for a moment then sighed. "I see." "This is why i haven't said anything about going back...I'd rather not. Why go back to a world of evil?" He said as he held up his hand and a magic sphere of light appeared in his opened palm. "When the light of hope and a new life is here." Both he and Twilight smiled as he let the light sphere float there in his palm and Twilight left him there as she went back in.
He lay there for a few more minutes before he heard voices downstairs inside. He recognized them as the other elements but then thought why everyone was here. He shook his head, waved the light sphere away, and hopped up onto his feet. He came down to see that all the elements were gathered in the room talking about something. "Am i interrupting something?" He asked getting there attention. "Ah there you are Michael." Twilight said walking over to him with what looked like a golden ticket levitating over to him. "Princess Celestia sent me a message inviting me and the girls to the Grand Galloping Gala and we also got 2 extra tickets for you and spike if your interested." She said with a smile.
"What kind of event is it?" Michael asked as he took the ticket out of her magical grasp and looked it over in wonder. "Its an event held every year where everypony invite come together and celebrate the new year. A lot of noble ponies come to congregate, make friends, and just party tho i would probably rule out the party idea because of last year." She said with a little giggle. "What happened last year?" "Don't ask." Rainbow said quickly earning nods from everypony. "So its like some giant Mascaraude ball?" He asked in wonder.
"What is a Mascaraude ball?" Rarity chimed in tilting her head. "Its an event back in my world mostly held over in France or Spain. Its like a fancy party where everyone dresses in formal attire and wears masks. Its an event where you hide your identity till the last second. I don't know many of the details....but i think you might like it Rarity." He said with a wink to her as she smiled brightly. "Tho i guess this event is without the masks. Sure i'll go. Might be interesting and i'll go in my outfit i wore at the welcome party." He said with a smile. "Perfect. It'll be a few weeks before the Gala so we have plenty of time to prepare." Twilight said with a nod just as Rarity stepped forward. "Ok then i guess its up to mu-ah to make everypony some new dresses. Oooooh i can't wait. I shall go on ahead back to the boutique and get everything prepared. Make sure to come by later so i can get all of your measurements...i don't need yours Michael since you already have a suit." She said as she headed for the door.
Michael then noticed the only ones who didn't speak were Applejack, Fluttershy, and pinkie. "Something on your minds?" "um...well....i wanted to ask you a few questions on some of your worlds animals when you have time....that is..if you want to." Fluttershy said hiding behind her mane. Fluttershy used cuteness. It was super effective. "I got nothin to say right now. I'm just enjoying the moment." Applejack said with a nod.
"I'm kinda annoyed i haven't had much screen time." Hey what did i say about that? No breaking the 4th wall in the story. "Oh right sorry. He he." Pinkie said. Michael tilted his head in confusion at her random comment then shook his head. Thinking about it hurt his head for some reason. "So hey you should come visit Sugar cube corner sometime. I bet the twins would love you." Pinkie said. "Twins?" "Yup the cakes twins. Pumpkin and pound. I babysit them now and them and i wanna introduce yah." she said with a big grin. "Sure. I love kids and kids love me." He said with a nod. Pinkie nodded and then disappeared in a poof of pink smoke breaking all logic in Michael's head. "Anyone else get a headache from that?" Michael said as everyone just laughed at his comment. "That's just Pinkie being Pinkie." Twilight said with a giggle.
Michael just shook his head decided to fly around for a bit. He walked outside as night descended on Ponyville and flew into the night sky on his Air Glider. He smiled as he looked down on the town then felt the magic envelop him again but he had control and music filled the air. He knew the sing and smiled. He knew what it meant. Wild magic was starting his music and he started singing out above the town.

He shot down toward town square where some ponies came to hear him singing to the random music in the air and some joined along.

He then made it to the front of sugarcube corner and stood on top of barrel balancing perfectly on it as he continued singing into the night.

He finished by jumping down from the barrel earning a cheer from the crowd of ponies that were singing along with him. He smiled at that as they surrounded him asking him questions about how he could sing so well. One in particular came up to him and he recognized her from the party. Dj Pon3 came up with a smiled and waved. "Been a bit since i last saw yah. I see your keeping your skills ups. Hey when you get time wanna come over to my store. That song you sang was awesome and i wanna see what other songs you got." She said. "Sure when I get time." He said with a nod brofisting....hooving her...whatever. He then turned and walked into Sugarcube corner before they closed.
Michael looked around the candy confectionery known as Sugarcube corner and he half expected it to be a candy store...tho candy was sold there it was mostly a bakery. From what he heard from Twilight, Pinkie lived here along with the Cakes and there 2 foals. He chuckled a bit at the thought of a work at home type of life and shook the notion away as Pinkie appeared before him. 'Note to self. Find out how she learned how to teleport as a earth pony...may come in handy later'
"Heya Mikey glad you could,," She was interrupted then by Michael's hand clasping her snout closed with an annoyed look. "OK 1st rule pinkie. My name is Michael. Do not under any circumstances call me Mikey or give me any nicknames. I hate having nicknames thank you very much....now please continue." He said releasing her mouth as she spoke again. "Oh Sorry Michael. Well anyways come into the kitchen. I'm feeding the twins now since the Cakes had to go deliver an order. I'm baby sitting." She said quickly and hopped off to the kitchen with Michael following behind.
"Oh yeh nice song in the last chapter. I loved it." Pinkie said as she walked over to the 2 foals. "Chapters?.....hmm ok." He said, 'Logic has been thrown out the window' He thought as he saw the 2 foals playing with there food as they then stopped and looked at the human before them. "Meet Pumpkin and pound cake. Aren't they just cute?" she said. "I've never seen baby ponies before so my definition of cute is a little....off but if you want me to say it yes they are very cute." Michael said. "He he now you sound like Twilight. I think you've been hanging out with her way to much." Pinkie said as she started spoon feeding the twins. "Actually i haven't. I've been spending most of my time honing my magic and getting spied on by Princess Luna." "Oh she does that a lot. Oh yeh Nightmare night is coming up. You got an outfit? Or are you gonna go as an assassin again?" Pinkie asked which kinda threw Michael off.
"I never really thought about it. Hmm.....ooh perfect idea and i don't even need Rarities help with it." He said with a wicked grin. "Ooooh what is it? Can i know?" She asked. "Promise you won't tell?" "Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Pinkie said making some gestures with her hooves and not poking her eye. 'screw logic.' "Ok so have you ever heard of The Doctor?" He asked with a sly smile.

Time passed as Michael left Sugarcube corner getting Pinkies personal promise not to tell of his plan for Nightmare night which he heard resembled Halloween from his world. Actually it kinda bugged him how certain things in this world resembled things from his world like some of the books at the library resembled books from his world or some of the city's and village names. He shook the notion away and flew back to the library and landed on the balcony instead of at the front door. He heard voices downstairs then and recognized the males voice but couldn't put a name to it. He looked over the rail to see Twilight helping what looked like a tan pony with a brown mane spiked back and brown tail and on his flank the picture nearly made Michael flip. An Hourglass. 'No way.' He thought.
He then thought twilight was a telepath cause right at that thought she looked up and saw him there. "Ah there you are Michael. How was it over at Pinkies?" "Oh a lot of plotting and planing...so whos your friend?" He asked as he came down. 'If he says hes the doctor i will flip.' He thought. "Oh my apologies. Its been awhile since i last saw a human, You can call me the doctor." The tan pony said. 'Dammit bad time to flip' And he did. When Michael heard it he was on the stair, tripped and fell down them landing with a thud at the bottom. Twilight was quick to run over to him. "Oh my are you ok Michael." She asked and then the moment. "WHAAAAAAAAAT!" Michael yelled quickly getting to his feet and staring at the Doctor before him. "Bu...but...bah.....that can't be right....your...The Doctor?" He asked.
The Doctor tilted his head in a confused fashion then. "You....know of me...wait a minute you didn't....oh no you came from that universe....did you know of this one? Or only mine?" "Uh what? I didn't know about this universe but i knew of you." Michael said as he got to his feet and walked over ignoring Twilight then. He was fangasming in his head right now. "I see...so its that universe..." The doctor said putting a hoof to his chin. "If i can say Doctor it is an honor to meet you...although...seeing you as a pony kinda makes me wonder....this is your last regeneration huh?" He asked. "Hmm?...you know of my regen count?" "Yeh I've watched through the entire series so I know the number." Michael said rubbing the back of his head. "Tho...I have to ask...how the buck did you get here.....I think I'm starting to get into the pony lingo." "Trust me I had the same problem when I got here...and to your question...well it's a long story and I'd rather not get into the details. But for now I must take my leave. Thank you for your help Mrs, Sparkles." He said with a nod as he walked to the door.
"Wait....Doctor." Michael said walk up to him getting his attention again as Michael leaned into his ear and whispered a question. "I know you probably don't want others to know but....you still have the TARDIS right and if you do...do you have an assistant?" the doctor thought it over for a second and nodded. "Yes i have it and yes i have an assistant. You heard of Miss Hooves right?" He asked. "Uh...you mean Ditsy the mail mare?...wait...she's your assistant?" "Yup now i must go. If your still curious come on over to her house. Twilight knows the address." He said as he left then. 'Well i know where i'm going in the future...and also where i'm going to get another item for my costume. Heh heh.' He thought with a sly smile.
The next few days passed in study for Michael. He had spent it learning to hone his magic skills and a bit on equestrian history and standards so he wouldn't make a fool of himself if something were to happen. That's when there was a knock on...the window? Michael looked up from his position on the couch to see a gray mare with blond hair rubbing her head from outside the window before she flew to the open door. "Hello? Is there a Mr Michael here?" She asked as Michael got up and walked over. "That's me?" That was when he noticed the long package strapped to her saddlebag. "Got a package for you sir." She said as she unstrapped it and handed it to Michael before nodding and flying off. "Thanks Derpy." Michael said as she disappeared and he looked at the package.
He looked it over in wonder as Twilight came up behind him. "What is it?" She asked. "I don't know....says here...its from Luna." He said as he started opening it. "That's Princess Luna.....wait WHAT!" She came around to see what the package was as he managed to get it open to find a note inside and packaging paper inside. He took the note and read it quickly.
Dear Michael,
I hope your enjoying your days there in Ponyville. I read through some of the letters my sister showed me that was written to her from Twilight about you and your race. I came up on one point in the letter about a certain item you liked and i couldn't help myself and send you it. I hope you use it wisely. Also be careful that you don't hurt our little ponies with it.

Michael finished reading just as Twilight used her magic to remove the packing paper to reveal what looked like a very intriguing Bow and quiver of arrows. (See link in authors note) "SHE SENT YOU A BOW! Why would she send you a weapon?" Twilight asked in wonder looking over the bow. "Wait there's more." Michael said noticing the ps.
Ps: The quiver has a magical enchantment to never run out of arrows and the bow itself was used by myself in the last great war of Equestria. I wanted you to have it cause i know i will have no use for it myself. Consider it a welcome to Equestria gift from us....sorry it came so late in the weeks but we were really busy. Again use it well.
Michael then put the letter down and took the bow from the package and looked it over. The Bow itself looked to be made from a bendable metallic color wood. Silver lined the details along the curve of the bow and the handle felt like a hard leather material. He plucked the string a bit and heard it ring in the air like sweat music. "That Princess...heh guess she read the part where I mentioned my love for Bows." He said as he admired the crastme...ponyship? Whatever. "This was her bow....The Arrow of the Night." Twilight said as he levitated the quiver out and looked over the arrows. Each arrow had a different feather color then the other and there were no same colors on them.
"So. Shall we try it out?" He asked looking at Twilight with a grin. "Wait...You mean shoot it? Where would we do that?" She asked in wonder. "Oh i think i know a place." Michael said looking outside through the window.

Later that day Michael stood on The field under where Rainbow dash usually practices her moves. The rest of the mane 6 had come out to see him and his new gift and wanted to try it themselves. Applejack provide the targets which were giant hay bales and Pinkie added the bulls eye on it which the center looked like a angry faced changeling. How she managed to make it look just like a real changeling face was beyond him. Michael had decided to let the girls go first to see how the bow would react to each of them.
"Ok girls everything is set up. So I heard that none of you have ever fired a bow and arrow before so i'm going to show you...tho how you hold the bow is up to you. Each one of you gets one shot each." Michael said as he pull out one arrow for each of the girls and needless to say each arrows color matched the girls hair color. "Ok decide among yourself who will go first." "OH OH I KNOW!" Pinkie said as she pulled what looked like a giant spinning game wheel out what seemed like nowhere and it had all of the girls faces on it. "We'll use this to see who go's first and after there done i'll take there face off the wheel and spin again." Pinkie said really fast but to everyone's surprise Michael heard it.
"Ok then. Lets do it." He said as Pinkie spun the wheel. After a second it stopped on Applejack's face. "Alrighty then. Guess I'm up." Applejack said as she walked up to the table where the bow was. She picked it up with her hoof and took the arrow with her mouth and strung it up. "Ok lets see who can get a better score." Michael said as Pinkie nodded and pulled out a score board. "The scoring will be simple. From the outer line to the bulls eyes it will be scored 1 to 5. 5 being the bulls-eye." He said as Pinkie wrote each of there names on the board and went back to watching.
Applejack nodded as she walked up to the line of her target with the bow still holding the bow with her hoof and the arrow with her teeth. She then did something Michael did not expect. She turned the bow to the side to where her head was not tilted to the side as she pulled back on the string and arrow as she aimed. Then something happened to the arrowhead. It sparked a bit right as Applejack let go letting the arrow fly toward the target. Right at it hit what looked like an orange shock wave came off of it on impact on the 4 mark. "Whow nelly. Was that me?" She asked as everyone sat around with mouths agape except for pinkie who was giggling to herself. "That's a 4 for Applejack." she said writing down Applejack's score.
"That must be the magic of the arrow. Each arrow has its own ability I guess." Michael said with a smile as Applejack put the bow down. "Nice first shot." "Why thank ya sugarcube." She said just as Rainbow interjected. "Yeh yeh can we spin the wheel now. I want my turn." Element of loyalty....not patience it seems. Pinkie nodded as she pulled Applejack's picture off the wheel and spun it again.
It then fell upon Twilight's face. "Oh my I guess its my turn." She said as she walked to the table. "Aw." Rainbow complained as Pinkie patted her on the back. Twilight levitated the bow from the table and strung her purple arrow in. She walked to her target and used her magic to pull the string back and aim. She let loose as magic enveloped her arrow and in the air just as it hit the 3 mark. "Wow. What was that?" "Let me have a look." Michael was curious as well. First Applejack's created that shock wave then twilight's was enveloped in magic. He walked up to the targets as Twilight set the bow down. He opened his magic up in a detection spell that Twilight had taught him and he examined the arrows. He then saw it. "Oh i see...Pinkie can i use your marker?" He asked he came back.
Pinkie handed the marker to Michael as he wrote down names next to Twilight and Applejack's score.
"Wait what?" Applejack asked in wonder. "Its Element infused arrows. There drawing power from the elements. I came up with names for them. But before I get into detail I want to see what the others are." He said as he put the marker down. "Don't we get a say in the name?" Twilight asked. "My bow my choice." Michael said as Pinkie pulled Twilight's face off the wheel and spun it again.
Needless to say it landed on Pinkies face next. "ooooh it landed on Pinkie.....oh wait that's me. hehe." She said as she bounced over to the bow and picked it up. She walked over to her line and used the same firing technique as Applejack where she held the bow with her hoof and pulled back the pink arrow with her teeth. She let loose and the looked like it was moving around like crazy right until it hit the 5 in a blast of confetti. How it did that is anyone's guess. "Wow A party shot! BULLS-EYE!!" Pinkie said before Michael could think up a name. "Whow there Pinkie I think you got the wrong idea there." Michael said. "It seems your shot works as a confusion shot to disorient enemies." Michael said as he wrote the score and the name down.

Pinkie then set the bow down and pulled her face off the wheel and spun again. There were only 3 ponies left now. Rainbow dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy and just like that it landed on Fluttershy. She let out a little eep and backed up a bit. "Fluttershy huh? Hmm I wonder how that will work out?" Michael mused as she reluctantly went up to the bow and picked it up. Luckily she had no need to balance cause of her wings so she floated there using her wings and used both of her hooves to grasp the arrow and string. "Hmm I had read that Pegasus were the main group of ponies that used bows and arrows cause of there flying ability. This should be interesting." Michael said as Twilight nodded a bit proud of herself for teaching him that.
Fluttershy to everyone's surprise pulled back on the string easily and aimed with a nervous look on her face and eeped as she let loose. The arrow then let loose what looked like a cloud of smoke as it hit the 2 mark. Michael had to use his magic to detect what that was. "Oh wow. Fluttershy it seems when you fired you were afraid and it caused the arrow to be infused with a fear cloud. Those who are affected go into a scared state just like when you use the stare on another being." Michael said as he wrote down Fluttershys score.

"Oh...my." Fluttershy said as she put the bow down and hid behind Pinkie. Now there were only 2 faces on the wheel. "Wait! I think Rainbow should go before me. I want to be prepared." Rarity said as she sat there. "You sure?" Michael asked tilting his head. Rarity nodded and Rainbow was just to excited. "AW yeah i'm Up." She said as she flew to the bow and took it quickly flying to her line. She lined up her target and fired. The arrow then disappeared and appeared in the tree behind the target leaving a hole where the 5 mark was. "WOW! It went right through!" She said as Michael smiled. "A piercing shot. A shot fired so fast it goes right through the opponent. Good for breaking through armor." He said as he wrote the score down.
Rainbow dash-5-Piercing shot
Rainbow then gave the bow to Rarity where she lifted it in her magic and walked to the line as everypony watched. In a stance of grace and pulled back and fired. It his the the 1 mark at the top and let out a cloud of purple smoke. "Hmm...well it was my first shot. Can't expect to win them all." She said as Michael used detect on the smoke. "Blinding shot. The purple smoke is a type of magic that blinds the enemies from seeing you...well so far as I've seen these shots are not lethal....cept for maybe Twilight's, Applejack's, and Rainbow Dash's if shot right." He said as he wrote down that last score. In all it read,
"So as the score reads both Pinkie Pie and Dash here got bulls-eye so they won." He said as Rainbow gave off a whoop but pinkie cut in. "Wait what about you and your shot?" she asked as he blinked. "Hmm I guess I can try." He said as he took a white arrow from the quiver and saw that the arrows that were shot before were back in the quiver and no longer on the targets. 'I guess that's what she meant by infinite ammo.' He thought to himself. He walked up to the line and strung the arrow on the bow, pulled back, and aimed. He held there for a moment breathing deeply as the girls watched him aim. He had a determined look on his face and then he muttered something. "Let my arrow aim true." He then let loose as Light seem to wrap around the arrow and strike the 5 on the target but then explode in a blast of light nearly blinding everyone as they covered there eyes. Michael then felt completely drained from the shot he fired and collapsed right there. "MICHAEL!" the girls called out as they ran up to him just as darkness clouded his vision and he was out.
Darkness was what Michael saw at first but then a light shined in the distance of his vision. He followed it till he came upon a field of wheat blowing in the breeze. There in the middle of said field stood a giant tree with what looked like vines flowing down from the leaves and a dark figure laying there. As Michael got closer he saw that it was none other then Princess Luna. "Luna?" He said in a casual tone as he stood before her. "Michael." she said in the same tone. "Where am I?" He asked to which Luna raised her head and looked around in recognition. "We are in the plains of Eden and the tree you before you is the heart of the plains. The Tree of Wisdom." She explained as she stood up and walked around the tree.
"What happened to me?" "You overexerted your power and passed out. The girls are taking your body back to Twilight's home to rest. You gave them quiet the scare with your arrow and you passing out in the blast of light." "So...what...am I gonna wake up a pony of something cause of all that magic..ha that would be ironic." He said laughing a bit to himself. Then he noticed Luna giving him a nervous look and rubbing her hoof on her leg. "Please tell me I'm not." "No...no your not a pony....but the magic....weeeeellll lets just say you may have gotten something else in return." She said. "What?" He deadpanned. She then pointed behind him as he turned his head. Needless to say his eyes were pinpricks at what he was. White feathers.
There was a gasp in the room as Michael bolted upright and his new appendages nearly knocked Rainbow out of the air. The girls were all gathered around Michael then when he woke suddenly. "HE'S AWAKE! HE'S AWAKE!" Pinkie cheered but was ignored as Michael was a bit frantic about what just happened. "Now just calm down and breath. Everything is going to be ok Michael." Twilight's voice said next to him as he turned to see her there and took her advice and breathed. He felt the rush leave him as he looked among the girls seeing there expressions about what just happened but then he spoke.
"Anyone wanna explain to me...just what the heck happened?" He asked as he looked behind him to see one wing move around in front of him so he could get a better look at it. It seems they respond to his thoughts so he could tell them what to do. He looked over the white pristine wing before him then noticed something was different. He turned his head to the other side and saw something that made a lump in his throat. The other with was a pitch black color. White and black. That's when he heard a voice. "Dude. You passed out on the field. Twilight said it had something to do with a magic overdose...but I have to say. It really benefited you. I mean look at these babies." Rainbow said as she flew up to Michael and lifted his White wing straight out. Needless to say his wings were much larger then hers or Fluttershys.
"Can I just get a straight answer? Twilight?" He looked over at her as a book levitated up to her. "Well from what I've managed to piece together, Your magic is different from normal Unicorn magic and the magic in this world. Its a sort of mixture between magic of this world and well something else I have not been able to identify. But because of that your magic is in a constant state of flux and its trying to compensate and sync itself with this worlds magic. When you fired that white arrow you agitated the magic and it poured itself into the arrow and the magic of this world overloaded yours making you go into a sort of....ponyfication process. Thus giving you wings...as for the colors I guess it has something to do with the different magic types in you." She explained and Michael just nodded along with her as he rubbed the back of his head. "Well....I guess i won't be using the air glider as much as usual....or maybe I will...who knows."
"Wait...you just accepted it just like that?" Applejack asked tilting her head. "Yeh...I mean...I've been in this world for a couple weeks now and I mean this happening is not all that surprising for me. This world has just been one big adventure for me so getting wings is just the icing on the cake." He said. "CAKE! WHERE?" Pinkie asked looking around frantically. Michael just laughed at that as he attempted to get up but was stopped by a purple glow on his shoulder holding him down. "No no you lay and rest. The magic took a lot out of you and you need to rest." Twilight said with a smile. "Yeh. Rest and get better cause when you do. I wanna teach yah how to use those babies." Rainbow said with a grin as Michael nodded and brohoof/fisted her. "I hope you get better soon. I'll bring by some tomato soup later so you can get your strength back." Fluttershy said almost in a whisper. "Yes darling get well soon because when you do i want you to come back over to the boutique so i can modify your cloths to allow your wings access." Rarity said almost giddy. "Alright girls lets let him rest" Twilight said ushering the girls out.
Applejack then broke from the group and came back in and plopped something down on Michael's head. "Like I promised." She said with a grin and ran back out leaving Michael alone. He reached up and saw a Stetson hat sitting on his head then he remembered when what he said to her when he first met Applejack that if she got him a hat like hers he would forgive her for the buck she gave him that he blocked. He smiled at the thought and went back to sleep.

Celestia sat in her throne room going over the latest friendship report from Twilight and the request from her along with it concerning Michael. She nodded and rolled the report up and placed it with the others as she stood up and walked to the balcony of her room and used her magic to raise the sun again. "This human...Very curious." She said to herself.
"How so dear sister?" A voice said behind Celestia which belonged to Princess Luna. "Ah its just nothing. I was curious how the human has been doing lately...speaking of which how are the preparations for the gala. It is coming up soon." Celestia asked. "They are coming along nicely. Had to boot Blueblood out after he threatened to fire some of the staff for spilling some condiments on him." "That stallion never learns...I wonder how he would react to Michael?" "Oh I can imagine that. He he" Luna said with a giggle as they both watched the sunrise.
A shot rang out behind Twilights house as Michael stood there in her backyard with his fist steaming with magic as he just fired off another Impact shot into the air. He had spent the next few days honing his magic and training to fly with Rainbow Dash. There were so many questions running through his mind now. Some pertaining to his wing colors but he just write that off as his balance of light and dark instead of the magic. Some pertained to how he was able to use magic in the first place and one pertaining to why he hasn't been hungry for those past few days. He figured he would ask Celestia at the Gala that night.
"MICHAEL WERE GOING TO BE LATE!" Twilights voice yelled from the other side of the house. He sighed and made his hands glow as his attire changed into a brown trench coat and black vest underneath with a blue tie. He made his way around to the front of the library were he saw Twilight and the rest of the girls along with Spike. "You ready now or are you gonna scare more birds with that practice?" Twilight said with a sly grin.
Michael just shook his head at her response. "I'm still working on it....sorry Fluttershy." He said as the yellow Pegasus just looked away with a blush on her face. He then noticed the cart there with a few stallions pulling it. He sighed as his wings unfurled. "Sorry girls but....carts make me nervous." "Yeh and whys that?" Applejack ask tilting her head slightly. "Its a past thing I don't want to talk about. I'll see you there." He said as he was just about to take off when a white hoof grabbed his arm. "But the suit I made for you! It'll get wrinkled if you fly!" Rarity exclaimed as she held his arm. "Uh...magic? Don't worry it'll be fine." He said with a wink as he pryed her off his arm and took off into the air so fast it would but Rainbow dash to shame.
He would have used the Air Glider but he remembered he gave that to Twilight to study after his wings came in to replace it. He loved this feeling of flying as the air rushed by him and cooled him to the core. The Adrenaline and the speed kept him focused on his task right then. He needed to talk to Celestia.

Out on the edge of the forest a black figure watched as the human flew off to Canterlot. It gave an evil grin and proceeded back into the forest where others just like it hid. "Is he going?" "Yes...The plan is in motion. We move now." "Very well. I will inform her. For the queen and the swarm." "For Crysalis." The changeling said.

Princess Celestia and Luna were sitting in the main hall greetings the guests for the gala when Shining Armor came in. "Think he'll come?" He asked as he sat next to them. Celestia looked down at him with a smile. "If I know him he will. I am curious how the Gala will turn out with a half-blood here." "Half-blood?" Shining asked looking back up at her. "That is what we call him. He had wings like us...and magic like us. Thus Half-blood." Luna said catching Shinings attention.
He sighed then as he heard what sound like heavy wings flapping and a gasp from outside. "That must be him...I'll go get him." Shining said as he got up and walked down the steps to the entrance.

Michael had landed at the entrance gracefully but his gracefulness earned him some spears pointed at him. "WHOW WHOW! I got a invite!" He said as he stood tall with his hands up. He reached one hand into his coat and pulled out the invite for them to see as he grinned. They looked among each other then lowered there spears just as a white unicorn with a blue mane and tail came out in gold armor. "So your the one my sister has been telling me about. I'm Shining armor, captain of the royal guard and husband to Princess Cadence. You know my sister Twilight already and I wanted the chance to meet you." He explain as he held out a hoof to shake. Michael obliged and shook it with a smile.
"Its a pleasure to meet you sir. I heard about what happened at your wedding. Dreadful predicament there." Michael said. "Ah yes..that...it is fine. My sister managed to save my wife and we ended that threat. But let us not dawdle on that. Its the Gala. Let us enjoy ourselves." He said with a grin. "Ah if i could but I have a matter to attend to first before I can indulge in the festivities. I need to speak with the princess." "Ah very well I will lead you to them so the guards don't get the wrong idea." Shining said as he nodded to the guards at the doors. They opened them as Shining and Michael proceeded inside just as Twilight and the gang showed up.
"Man I hope the Gala is gonna be better this year then last year. That was a disaster." Spike said as he hopped off the cart and opened it for the girls to descend. "I agree with you there spike. I just hope I don't have to run into that dreaded Blueblood....But i guess i am hoping I do. I wouldn't mind scaring him a bit." Rarity said with a sly grin.
"Rarity we promised to keep the messing around to a minimum this time remember?" Twilight said as the rest of the girls nodded. They then proceeded in.

"Half-blood?" Michael asked as Celestia sighed. "You know Shining here said the same thing. Yes Half-blood. When you were recovering Twilight sent me a letter on what happened to you. Just think about it. Wings and magic. Who else can have both here. Us. You have Alicorn blood in you." Celestia explained as Michael was processing this.
"Alicorn blood...hmm so I guess that is how I can do all these spells and such without knowing the actual spell." Michael said shaking his head. "Actually no. You see even me and Luna had to learn the spells we use on a every day basis but you are unique to the Alicorn race. Your a spell bender." "What is that? "There has only been one in recording since before you. He was Star Swirled the Bearded. A Spell Bender is a being with the power to create all new spells just by thinking about it. Star Swirled had this power and wrote what those spells down and are what we use today." Luna said with a nod. "So I can create all new spells just like that? Just by thinking it?" "Yes. You are unique at this but we would warn you. Do not go doing the impossible. There are certain things even magic cannot do like bring back the dead or move whole universes. Tho I guess you could have the power to move our sun and moon but if you did that we would send you to one of them for a long long vacation." Celestia joked with a giggle.
"Yeh I rather like where I am thank you. Well...thanks for clarifying that. I'm gonna go enjoy the party now. Oh and thank you Luna for the bow." He said showing that he had it strung around his shoulder over his back. "Why did you bring it here? I know I gave it as a gift but it is still considered a weapon." Luna asked in wonder. "Its the Gala and from what Twilight has told me you never know what may happen." He said with a wink as he walked to the grand hall where the party was.
Michael stepped into the grand hall all dramatic like as he pushed both doors open wide with a grin as other ponies were busy conversing among themselves while listening to classical music. A few noticed him and the whispering topics changed to him instead. Michael noticed a few other races there as well which included, zebras, Diamond dogs, and a few Griffons. "Guess it was also a race meeting as well." He whispered to himself as he walked in and noticed the other girls there as well split up and conversing with other ponies.
He walked over to spike who was at the snack table chowing down on a bowl of gems. 'probably there for the diamond dogs as well.' "Yo Spike." Michael said as he came up next to Spike who looked up at him from the bowl. "Hey dude. Bout time you got in. I guess you finished speaking with the princesses?" Spike said with a grin. "Pretty much...hey what do you think of the music?" Michael asked with a sly smile. "Eh. I've heard Bet...Oh no your not gonna do what I think your gonna do. Pinkie tried the same thing last year." "I know. That's what makes it fun." He said as he left spike there and walked up to the stage.
He saw the piano there as his magic attuned his skills to learn to play it. He walked up onto the stage just as the band there finished there latest song. He whispered a few things to the members and to spikes surprise who was watching they smiled and nodded. The Girls noticed this and walked over to see what Michael was up to as he relieved the pony at the Piano and went over the song in his head one more time. He took the mic from the stand next to him to get every ponies attention. "Greetings everypony. How are you all enjoying your time here?" He got a few murmurs and a few words of agreement to the party. He smiled and readied himself. "This is a song I learned awhile ago while staying at Ponyville when I learned I might not be able to go home. I was thinking of my future years here and I thought of it. So I would ask that you please listen and hear my words." He said as he started playing the intro and then sang.

Michael sighed as he finished his 2nd and last song of the night. Out of all the calming songs he like that this crowd would love those 2 were his Favorited. He blamed his magic for changing his voice a bit to match that of the actual artist of the song as the crowd erupted in cheers for him and his music. The girls looked astonished as Michael with there mouths hanging open and what surprised Michael was Pinkie was also doing the same. He knew from personal experience it was very hard to surprise her. Achievement unlocked. Surprise The Ninja Party Pony.
Michael contemplated why he heard the dinging sound but ignored it as he stood and bowed to the crowd to the crowd with a grin just as a scream echoed among the crowd and he looked up to notice a pony pointing at a window just as it exploded inward and a swarm of dark creatures flew through the windows on the attack. Michael was thrown off by this sudden turn of events he barely missed Twilight yelling out something. "CHANGELINGS! Quick girls we need to get every pony to safety. Rainbow, Go inform the Princesses." She barked out the orders as Rainbow flew off past the swarm of changelings just as Several surrounded Michael preparing to attack.
He was prepared for this and let his magic surround him and his hands in a form of shield to ward off there attacks. They then dove for him and flew around him. The first to get near him was kicked straight into the nearby wall on the stage by Michael as he swung around and grabbed another attacker by the neck and tossed it into the next attacker knocking them both away. If he learned anything in his time with his time on earth it was the best way to defend oneself from multiple attackers. He used his training to fight off the swarm one by one that came at him.
The girls had managed to get the rest of the Gala Guests to safety and had come back to help Michael fight off the Changeling swarm until the guards came. After taking out another changeling Michael glanced out the window next to him and saw something he did not want to see. "This isn't an ordinary attack. Its a invasion." He said to himself. Outside was not faring any better then inside. Swarms upon swarms of Changelings were attacking the city. Fire littered the rooftops as explosions erupted everywhere from the dark beings.
Michael then felt a hoof on his shoulder. "We need to go. The princesses need us." It was Rainbow dash. Michael nodded and followed her and the other girls toward the exit. They made there way out of the grand hall and ran through the castle passing other guards who were making a hole for the elements and Michael to the Princesses. "Well this place just went to crap." Michael mumbled to himself as he ran.
Michael kicked open the main hall doors where Celestia and a contingent of guards were holding up well. The guards came up just as Michael and the girls ran in and closed the doors behind them. "You called?" Michael said as he pulled Luna's bow off his back. "You got here just in time." Celestia said as he sister's horn was glowing a bit. A magical screen appear before the group. On the Screen a unicorn guard stood. "You Majesty. The forward garrison is holding at the main gates and evacuation efforts are under way but we don't know how long we can hold the horde of changelings off. We need reinforcements soon down here." "We will send troops soon. Hold out as long as you can." Luna said with a nod. "One more thing." the guard said. "We over heard one of there orders. They said something about obtaining the otherworlder." This comment made Michael's eyes light up. Luna nodded to the guard and cut the connection with a thanks.
Michael stood there rubbing the back of his head. "It would seem that these changeling are here for you it seems Michael." Celestia said staring at him. "Like buck there getting our friend." Applejack spoke up. Michael turned to her at this comment in surprise. "I agree there. We'll fight for you Michael." Rainbow said with a nod. "You've cared for us so far. I think we can take care of you now in return as our friend." Fluttershy said as if in whisper. "Were here for you Michael." Rarity said as she fixed her mane. "we'll always be by your side because that's what friends do." Twilight said placing a hoof on his hand. "That's right! and maybe after this we can have another we saved Equestria party!" Of course pinkie would say that.

Michael stood there for a moment and in that split second had all 6 girls in his arms and wings in a giant hug. "Thank you all. I promise now I will always be there for you all whenever you need me." He said with a smile.
"Oh how touching." A voice rang out in the room that Cause Michael to freeze in fear. He knew that voice. He knew it all to well. He looked up just in time to see the main doors blow off there hinges blowing the guards away. 'it can't be!' He stood up just as a tall changeling with wings and a horn stepped in with her horde flying around her and she had this wicked grin on her face. "YOUR DEAD!" "Am i? Its been way to long. My long lost brother." Chrysalis said. "BROTHER!" Everyone said looking from Michael to Chrysalis. "Oh didn't you know. ha ha ha I love this part. I think its time for a story. You see like my long lost brother here I was also not of this world."
Flash back
Michael. 8 years old was playing in his room with his legos by himself. He sat there building up a replica of the star wars death star when a knock came on his door. "Hey Big Bro! Can I come in?" Michael looked up to see his door open and a girl about one year younger then him came in. Her hair was a pitch black color going down past her arms and she wore what looked like a school mini skirt and a long sleeve shirt which was green. "Something wrong sis?" Michael asked as she sat down across from him.
Crystal as she was called then picked up some legos and put them together. "Dad left for work already leaving us with the babysitter. I needed something to do." She said with a grin as he nodded and they built together. "Wanna go outside?" Crystal asked as Michael nodded and they proceeded down the stairs and into the backyard. After awhile of playing on the swing and sandpit out back they lay back on the grass and point out cloud shapes in the sky. "Hey bro?" "Yeh sis?" "You ever wonder about live out there?" She asked. She was always the smartest of them both. "You know I never think about that. Were to young to be thinking like that. I still wanna have fun." He said with a grin. "Right." She said as they lay there.
"Look an Angel." she said pointing it out for him as he saw the shape and grinned. "Yeh.....wait...sis." "Yeh?" "Why is your finger glowing?" He said as he leaned up seeing her finger glowing as she did the same and face him looking at it in wonder. "I don't know....but...ow..its starting to hurt." She said. They then saw that the glow was moving up her finger quickly enveloping her hand and she started to scream out in pain. "BRO! It HURTS HELP ME!" He had no idea what to do as the glow moved up her arm as she screamed out. He tried to grab the glow to stop it but it burned his hand and he retreated. "I don't know what to do! SIS!" the glow then enveloped her entire body as the screaming intensified then a blast of light went off around her blowing Michael off his feet into the nearby tree knocking him out. The last thing he saw was an empty backyard.

"You were gone. We had your funeral. Dad was mortified. I had to go to a psychiatrist because of what I saw and NOW YOUR HERE!" He yelled out that last part as he stood there. "What happened to you!" "Ah now there's the thing. I appeared here in the past. I appeared as I am now as a changeling in the desert. Others of my kind found me and took me in. I became stronger and became there queen and then I learned of the other kingdoms that hunted my kind for what they were. Now I am fighting back." she said as the swarm around her buzzed around ready to attack.
"Celestia Luna!" Michael called out as he looked behind him to noticed that somehow the flying doors had rammed into both of them knocking them both out. "Oh that was lucky for me. TAKE THEM!" Chrysalis yelled out as the swarm flew in past there queen on the attack. "Step back." Michael said as the girls looked at him and quickly moved behind him. Time seemed to slow down around Michael as Sparks flew off him and his wings as he held out his hand to the oncoming swarm. Energy built up in his palm quickly right as he released it. The energy burst out of his hand like a shock wave blowing the horde of changeling away from him and his friends through the windows shattering them in a spray of glass and into the walls smashing the changeling to pieces leaving only Chrysalis standing.
"Girls get the elements." Michael said to them as he stared at Chrysalis with a look of determination in his eyes. "Nuh uh. We ain't leaving yah." Applejack spoke up. "Like hell you ain't. Go get the elements and get back here. I gotta bone to pick with my sis." He said as Chrysalis prepared to lunge. The girls nodded and ran off down one of the opened side passages. "Now its just you and me sis." Michael said as he readied himself making his wings flair out. "I've been waiting for this for to long." she said ignoring the fact that he had destroyed her horde so quickly. They were nothing compared to her power.

"Come on girls we gotta hurry." Twilight said as they ran out of the castle quickly toward the treasury where the elements were being kept. As they ran past the gardens Rarity stopped for a second and was looking in at the statues. Something seemed off but her thought process was halted. "RARITY COME ON!" Rainbow yelled out as she ran after them. At the far end of the rows of statues there was one there that was just an empty pedestal. On the tablet it read 'Here lies discord. God of Chaos. Long may he be sealed' and just then the words suddenly changed to 'Long may he rule' and a silent laugh resounded throughout the garden.
"Almost there girls." Twilight said as they made it into the mural room in teh castle and ran to the back where the elements were being held. "eh Sugarcube how are we to open it without the princess?" Applejack asked a bit confused now. "Don't worry. She changed the enchantment to allow us access as long as we are together to open it." Twilight said placing a hoof on the wall as a light came off it and flowed over the bearers as if it were scanning them. A loud click was heard before the door opened for them. Twilight wasted no time levitating the box with the elements out and handing each girl there elements.
An explosion was then heard and felt throughout the room coming from the main part of the castle. The Battle had begun. The girls nodded and ran off toward the castle and the fight.

Michael slid along the ground dodging the blasts Crysalis sent his way easily. He switched around and flew straight toward her using his wings to give him an added boost she saw then and charged a blast in her horn but he saw the shot and quickly disappeared from her sight only to appear next to her sending an elbow to her face dispelling her magic. He then followed up with a punch to her leg knocking her to her knee and a backwards round house kick to her face sending her flying into one of the pillars in the room literally destroying it. She quickly recovered and flew right at him as fire surrounded her front hooves.
He quickly teleported back a bit to avoid her attack as she landed where he was causing and explosion of green flames which he shielded himself from with his wings. He felt the heat on his wings from the flames and knew she was coming by the buzzing of her wings. He then sent energy into his wings and right as she was on top of him and spread them letting the energy expel itself in a giant shockwave sending her flying back into the ground. He quickly drew Luna's bow from his back then and cocked a impact shot arrow taking aim as she got up slowly. He let loose as the arrow hit its mark. It didn't pierce her but the magic in it activated as she was sent flying again into the wall as the sound of the impact broke the windows in the room. She landed on her feet as she glared at him just as he cocked a piercing shot on the bow.
Green flames then came from her horn as she aimed it at him. A green flamethrower then burst out coming right at him but he grinned as he let loose the arrow piercing the flame and all but dispelling it. She had a look of surprise as the arrow went straight through her leg. She cried out in pain as she slumped down to the ground. He then drew a white arrow and cocked it but didn't aim it as he walked up to her. "You can't win crystal. Why are we even fighting anyways? Why do you hate me? I never wanted this." He said as he heard her mumble something. "What?"
She then cried out. "YOU WEREN'T THERE! I was so alone. After I appeared here I was alone in a stange body that was not my own. No one was there to guide me. NO ONE! I had hoped you had come with me...but no....I came alone and cursed with this stupid form that needs love to stay alive. I fought my way to the status of queen and now I will take what I deserve!" she said as she charged another blast but was halted by his next words and the emotionless look on his face.
"And what is it you deserve?" He asked staring at her. The Element bearers then came in and saw Michael aiming the bow with the white arrow at crysalis and saw the expression on her face. "Redemption." she said with a angry look on her face as she fired. "Then you shall have it sister." He said as he let loose the arrow.

Outside on the streets of canterlot the citizens were being evacuated from the city for safety reasons but all activity halted then as the sound of an explosion was heard that shook the ground as light came out of the windows of the castle. The light faded and then silence filled the air. The citizens looked up at the castle all but one as he walked to the train station. A brown pony wearing a half black half white suit and sporting a goatee with a cutie mark that consisted of a happy and sad mask. He grinned and laughed a bit as he boarded the train to ponyville.

A few hours later.
Michael slowly opened his eyes and felt sore all over including in his wings. He groaned quietly as he looked around getting his bearings. He saw he was in a white room on a bed and realized he was in the hospital....again. "I swear I'm gonna start living here if I come here to much." He said as he leaned up to see Twilight layed halfway on the bed at his legs asleep. He looked around and saw the bed next to him and his eyes shot of in surprise. What lay there completely shocked him. It was crystal....but not as a changeling. She was human again and all grown up. His own sister. Tears formed in his eyes as he watched her sleep. "How..." He didn't noticed Twilight wake up next to him and then spoke.
"We used the elements on her after that arrow you shot. Whatever it did it freed her mind of all the hatred she held in her. It didn't kill her but once she saw you she asked for a request. She asked us to use the elements on her and you...cause well you died." she said with a frown. If his eyes could get any wider they would be dinner plates. "I....I died?" He asked in which she only nodded. "The elements brought you back....it'll take some time for you to recover so I suggest you rest up. I'll go tell Celestia, Luna, and the girls to good news." She said as she got up from her seat and trotted out. As she exited he looked back at crystal and looked her over. She look like any normal teen girl save for the unnatural green hair she had. She was dressed in a hospital garb but he ignored that and smiled as she slept. "Good to have you back....sister." He said as he fell back asleep as well.
A week has passed since the events of the invasion on Canterlot...make that 2nd invasion. The new spread of the human hybrid who took on the queen and defeated her but no news of the aftermath was spread. Michael never left his sisters bedside as she slept that week away never waking. He knew she was ok cause Luna would come in and tell him she was fine due to her going into Crystals dreams every night to confirm nothing was wrong. He made sure to eat whenever the Elements came over to visit and he would give a fake smile whenever they came.
Time past and Crystal finally stirred. She gave a heavy breath as she opened her eyes slowly to get used to the darkness of the room and felt a heavy pressure on her leg. She turned her head slowly to see a boy half laying there asleep and thought he looked oddly familiar. She then noticed his different colored wings and the memories came back in a flood making her eyes widen in surprise. Tears came to her eyes as she leaned up but the motion woke him. He moaned a bit on awakening and looked around then turned to face Crystal. There was no look of surprise on his face but one of happiness mixed with confusion. "Why are you crying sister?" He asked as she stared at him for a moment before slowly smiling and a quiet laugh came to her. He started laughing as well as she started laughing a bit harder.
"Brother!" She called out as she quickly lept up at him and hugged him hard as he hugged her back still laughing. "I hope I'm not interrupting something." A voice said from the door as both Crystal and Michael looked up from there hugging position to see a smiling Celestia aka...the mood ruiner. "Celestia..." Michael said as he looked from her to crystal and back again. "Are you going to introduce us Michael?" Celestia asked with a grin. He regained his composure as she walked up next to them. "Well she already knows you but Celestia this is my sister. Crystal." Michael said with a nod seeing crystal nervous in front of Celestia. "Its....a pleasure to...meet you...I guess again." She said looking kind of shy now.
The princess giggled a bit at her shyness and smiled. "You remind me of a certain yellow filly I know. You and her would probably be real good friends. I had just came in to see what the commotion was all about and to inform you that the girls will be arriving soon. You must be hungry crystal so if you feel confidant in standing i suggest we retire from this infirmary and head to the dining hall and wait for the other elements." She said with a nod to Michael and Crystal as she took a step back.
Crystal took a moment to process that and looked down at her returned human body and started shuffling to lower her feet to the cold ground and try to stand. Several years as a quadruped can really throw off your coordination on 2 feet. It took a moment but Michael managed to help her walk on 2 feet again. He then noticed her eye color was different. It was blue now....wasn't it green a moment ago. He shook that thought away as a fluke and let her change into some different cloths that Rarity had brought over on one of her visits. He then led her out of the infirmary to the dining hall. They would have to go through the main hall to get there. Luna was waiting for them at the main hall doors as he looked at her in wonder then heard the whispers on the other side of the door.
She smiled and walked up to the siblings then spoke. "It seems that rumors spread fast. There is already a procession out there waiting for you Michael." "Why for me?" He asked. "They here to congratulate you and thank you for saving there lives. I would suggest we take an alternate path then through the main hall." She suggested but he held up a hand. "I think we should head out there." He said as Luna stared at him for a moment seeming to know what he was gonna do and smiled. "Very well. I shall take your sister ahead of you so as to not arise any questions." Luna said as Crystal nodded and followed Luna down the hall away from Michael.
He sighed and took a deep breath as he opened the grand hall doors where he saw it was nearly filled to the brim with ponies who on sight of him cheered for him in praise. He smiled as he walked through them and saw the ponies who played on the band during the gala and walked over to them. He noticed there music instruments were out as he saw Octavia walk up to him with a smiled. "It seems everypony here is very happy to see you are alive and wishes to give you there gratitude for saving them. We personally wish to play a song with you but we need you guidance." He smiled and took up a guitar next them and nodded. "You read my mind." He said as he watched them all pull out there instruments and he turned to the crowd of ponies behind him and spoke. "You all have been waiting and I thank you all for your support." He said as he started playing a tune on the guitar and then began to sing as the rest of the band group played along.

He finished as everypony was cheering just as a flash of light appeared before him and Celestia stood there in front of the group and Michael with a sly grin on her face. "You just like making a scene don't you?" She asked as he just grinned back. "Hey gotta do something to get the word out." He said with a bow. She smirked as she turned to the crowd. "Thank you all for coming but i'm afraid i have to cut the party short because i must discuss buiness with Michael here. Guards please see my little ponies out." She said as the guards in the room nodded and ushered everyone out. Michael turned to return the Guitar to the pony her borrowed it from but the pony shook his head. "You keep it. A gift." He said as he smiled and walked away. Michael smiled and strapped the guitar to his back between his wings and got it adjusted. He then felt magic envelop him as he and Celestia appeared in teh dining hall where Crystal was eating for the moment before being startled by Celestia and Michaels appearance.
Michael laughed a bit as Crystal before taking a seat next to her. "What took you so long and...where did the guitar come from?" She asked. "A song and a gift." He nodded as the doors opened to the room revealing the mane 6 and spike riding along on Twilights back. I won't get into detail but 6 ponies and one dragon tackling one guy is an awsome way to go.

Ok sorry had to hogtie pinkie's 4th wall breaking form up. Now where was I?...Ah yes the ponie pile. Michael laughed as he hugged all 7 of them while giving spike a noogie. Crystal was a bit surprised by this and just stared before Rarity caught sight of her. Quickly wiggling out of the ponie pile she appeared before Crystal quickly. "My word. I never thought that....my dear I have to admit green is not my favorite color but just by looking at your mane..." "Hair." Michael corrected. "Hair my apologies but just by seeing it I have to say you make that color look brilliant." Rarity said.
Michael then realized he never really took in her Features. She was a bit shorter to him in comparrison...that is after he got out of the pony pile to find out. He noticed that he was not mistake about the eyes cept that one eye was green and the other was blue but then he noticed hey Light Green hair that seemed for some reason make her look radiant. Rarity was right when she said her hair really worked for her looks. She looked beautiful....for human standards. He didn't know about pony standards here.
She smiled at the comment and her face went kinda red. "Um...thank you. I'm Crystal. Nice to meet you....I guess again." she said shyly when Fluttershy saw her. She immiedietly flew over and placed a hoof on her shoulder. "Its ok. Were all friends here. Theres no need to be shy." Says the girl with shy practically in her name and is afraid of her own shadows.

Shhe pinkie i'm writing. Well anyways lets continues. They dines they feasted and had a good time. Time past and Michael decided to bring Crystal back to Ponyville with him. She accepted an invite to stay with Rarity at her boutique till michael could get his own place then she would move in with him. Michael had gotten family back and he wasn't going to lose her again.
A few days passed as Luna took on the task of filling Crystal in on the basics of living in Equestria again but that turned out to be easier then she thought due to Crystals time as Crysalis. She was always curious about what happened to the other changelings she was leading but she had heard from Celestia that after her transformation the rest of her hive are being kept under quarantine outside of Canterlot. The only reason they don't attack is cause of Crystals severed connection to the hivemind. Without a leader to lead them they seemed to shut down and just sit down where ever they were. So under Celestia's orders they were moved to a camp away from Civilians until she could find out what to do with them.
Michael had left back to Ponyville ahead of Crystal since he was basically there Guardian of sorts. Crystal stayed behind cause she chose to for now. She wanted to see the changelings she led all this time so with a bit of convincing she was led to the camp by Luna and a contingent of lunar guards. They landed just outside the camp and what Crystal saw made her a bit sad. There were hive structures protruding from the ground which the Changelings stayed in but so few were still moving around working. The Rest just sat around looking off into space as if they were empty husks. Those working were busy either setting up the camp or stockpiling food which consisted of green gel crystals filled with love but even that seemed low in comparison.
Crystal felt like she could just break down and cry then for what happened. She looked at Luna for a moment and earned a nod in reply. Luna waved the guards back as Crystal walked into the camp slowly looking around her at the changelings. One of the ones that didn't move seemed to sense her presence and turn its head slowly to look at her. She stared back for a moment before walking up to it and kneeling down in front of it. This act caught the attention of the other changelings around them as they all stared at the 2. A tear came from her eye as she took its hoof in her hand and placed her other hand over it surprising the changeling a bit but she saw it didn't move but then she spoke.
"I'm so sorry...You probably don't recognize me now...now that i'm in my original form...and the fact I'm no longer connected to you all. I should have been a better leader. This is not what I wanted for any of you....to be lowered to this kind of standard. Please forgive me." She said lowering her head as the changeling just stared. The other around them stared as well as the silence filled the air. Luna looked a bit concerned as the guards tensed up.
The changeling looked at the others for a moment as he saw a few nods from them and looked back at her and smiled. "We are nothing without our leader. Even if you are not apart of the Hivemind anymore we still recognize you as one of us. A true Changeling. My Queen. We forgive you." It said as the sound of buzzing and cheers filled the air. "We cheer for the Return of our Queen. We are still yours to command your highness." It said as Crystal looked up with a smile.
"Thank you." She said as a hoof landed on her shoulder softly and she saw the changeling cringe back. Crystal looked up at the hoofs owner and saw Luna there. "It seems even now you are still there Queen...but I have to ask. What are you going to do now?" She asked. Crystal thought for a moment and nodded. "I'm going to make a decree....i have no magic that I know of but...may I ask that you can increase my voice's volume a tad so they can all hear me?" Crystal asked as Luna nodded and her horn glowed a bit. Crystal nodded back and stood up and looked at the changelings around her. "My children. I wish to make a Treaty with the Kingdom of Equestria. I wish there to be peace between our Nations and for us to walk among the Citizens of Equestria as Equals!" As the magic faded from her throat she smiled at the Cheering changelings. She turned to Luna with the same smile and spoke in her normal voice again. "and I will need you and your sisters help with that. I know you citizens won't support this right away but i'm sure with your help and your words they will accept it in time. Will you help us?" she asked.
Before Luna could speak another voice spoke. "Of course we will help and we accept this treaty." Celestia landed gently next to Luna then as she walked up to them. "Sister? I thought you were busy?" Luna asked. "It seems day court went by rather quickly so I had time to spare. This kinda of moment is history in the making and i wanted to be here to witness it. Did you inform your brother you were going to do this?" Celestia asked. Crystal fidgeted a bit and shook her head. "No...but I think he had an idea what I planned to do after he left. I just hope he won't mind that I took matters in my own hoo...hands." She giggled at her error. She was still trying to get back into human mannerisms.
Celestia and Luna giggled at that and nodded. "Very well then. Shall we return then? There's a lot of paperwork to got through for this and you have a letter to send to your brother about all this." Celestia said with a grin as Crystal nodded and followed them back to Canterlot.

Michael had just finished reading the letter from Crystal and the decree from Celestia about the new Chageling/Pony treaty. He smiled at his sister's work and made sure to send a letter back telling her to visit often cause he knew she would have to maintain the chagelings now since she was still considered there queen. "Wow this is....i have no words for this." Twilight said as she finished reading the decree. "Well at least we don't need to worry about them as a threat anymore." Spike added in receiving a nod from Twilight. She looked over at the other girls who were there as well and asked. "What do you girls think of this?" She asked. "Well I got no opinion on it...as long as they keep to themselves and don't try nothin I got no problems." Applajack said from her seat on the couch next to Michael. "Yeh if they try anything I'll make sure to send them packing right back to there hive!" Rainbow said from her perch above Michael on the bookshelf. "Well I for one think its FANTASTIC! Think about it. If there coming to live among us now without fear there's gonna be a lot of new Chagelings in town and you know what that means. PARTIES GALORE!" Pinkie exclaimed bouncing around who then was stopped by Michael placing a hand on her head to halt her.
"Remember my sister is the one leading them now. I'm sure under he leadership now that she has been reformed they won't cause any problems. I trust her." He said with a smile. "Well I for one find it to be the perfect opportunity. Think about it. If i could hire one of them with there shape-shifting ability...oooooh just think of the possibilities.....of course I would keep my eye on them for safeties sake." She corrected after earning a deadpanned stare from everypony except for Michael. Fluttershy just remained quiet on the whole ordeal. "What about you Fluttershy? Got any word on this?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy sighed and looked back at them and said what no one expected her to say. "I don't like them....And I never will...I have no problems with Your sister Michael but as long as those Changelings stay away from me and my animal friends we'll be fine." She said as she got up and walked out.
Everypony and person was quiet after that but then Spike spoke up. "Why do I all of a sudden feel like Tarterus has just frozen over?" "Spike watch your language." Twilight said but then thought. "She must still not like that after the invasion. I'm sure she'll come around." she said with a sigh. "I can go talk to her." Michael suggested. "No no lets just give her some space. This is Fluttershy were talking about here. There are times where her stubbornness rivals Applejacks." Twilight said earning a confused look from Applejack. "Ah can't tell if that's and insult or a compliment." She said. Michael just looked at the door in wonder.
Things seem to be back in order save for the new race of pony that wander around now known as the changelings. With the new laws in place that allow them to walk among the populace as citizens of Equestria Crystal has had her hoo....hands full with new politics of peace with the princesses. Michael on the other hand has been busy making up new spells with Twilight for the past couple months since then. Not much has changed since then.
Morning came quickly for Michael as he opened his eyes to a sight of white and blue in his face. Oh and did I mention the pure Red Eyes? "AUGH!"
The following thud woke Twilight from her sleep as she looked around in alarm. She walked to Michael room to see Michael upside down on the floor and a laughing Vinyl scratch. "Vinyl? What are you doing here?" She asked. "Heh sorry Twi but I need to follow up on a promise this guy gave me." She said as Michael readjusted himself and his wings stretching them out.
"Sheesh did you have to wake me that way?" He said as he got to his feet and his new cloths appeared on him that Rarity made for him. It was a brown trench coat and black cargo pants with a gray shirt under the coat. "Hey you wouldn't wake. For a moment I thought I would have to bring out my bass cannon....your a heavy sleeper. Now come on. We got a big day of music and I wanna hear what you got from your world." She said walking out past Twilight who look at Michael in wonder as he just shrugged back. "I'll be back later Twi. Don't wait up." He said as he followed Vinyl out.

So many questions...."Ok Vinyl...Octavia...I know you both have a lot of questions about my music but can we tone it down to one at a time please." The moment they had settled down at Vinyls place the questions began and that was when he realized Vinyl and Octavia roomed together. He sighed as he pulled his ipod from his jacket out. How he got it was hard and he wasn't planning on pulling off that spell again.
In a burst of thought he tried pulling something across dimensions through a intricate spell and it nearly killed him. He then used his magic to upgrade there equipment to accept his ipod of music and has been playing music that both of them may like. He shifted his wings slightly cause they were feeling a bit uncomfortable. At some point he would need to preen them and thanked god he had hands so he didn't have to use his mouth for it.
One song that got the girls attention was one Michael loved and reminded him of a certain unicorn. He asked if he could remix it using Vinyls equipment and she agreed as long as she helped out. Octavia was intrigued and sat with vinyl in her booth as Michael walked into the sound room....yes Vinyl had a recording studio in her home. As Michael pulled a chair over he grabbed the mic and held a thumb up to Vinyl as she started the music.

Time passed after the end of the song as Michael had to personally walk out of the sound room and come into the recording room to pick both Octavia's and Vinyls chins up off the floor. "Well how'd i do?" He asked. Octavia was speechless while vinyl just held a hoof up. Michael smiled as he hoofbumped her and that what got Octavia speaking. "My word. I heard you sing but that...that was amazing i mean up close and not actually playing along is completely different.....are you doing anything Friday?" "Whow there get in line." VInyl said with a grin as Michael just laughed. "No i'm not busy but just so you know i'm not exactly interested. I'm not looking for any relationship....actively that is." He said.
"Why not may i ask? I mean being you. You could have any mare. If what i heard from Twilight is true your stuck here...why not find a relationship?" Octavia asked. Michael rubbed the back of his head as he remember Twilight asking the same thing. "I'll tell you what i told Twilight. I'm not actively looking and i might not for awhile but if a girl were to ask me out and want to go further then yeh sure i'll roll along...but i don't feel comfortable taking the lead on asking someone...or in this case somepony. Besides out of all my friends i don't see any of them as anything further then friends." He said. Vinyl and Octavia looked at each other in worry then as Michael sighed.

"Crystal....let me get this straight...they just gave it to you?" "Yes they did." "For free?" "Pretty much." "They gave you there old castle." Michael said in disbelief. He stood there in Twilight's library looking at his sister from one of her surprise visits. It had been 2 weeks since Michael started recording and remixing music at Vinyls and since then things have been quiet and calm....till now.
"Look they gave it to me cause 1. It would improve relations between the changeling and ponies so there closer and it shows that we can be apart of there society and 2. i'm still technically a queen so I need an actual castle of my own so they gave me the one they weren't using anymore. Go figure. Its in the Everfree so we can keep the place tame." Crystal said as she looked over at Twilight who was to engrossed in her book to listen in. "Well....you know what i'm over it. Its fine....actually i wanted to ask you a favor." "Yes?" Crystal asked intrigued. "Can you order the Changelings to keep away from Fluttershy....i know its late but i haven't seen you in 2 weeks but i just wanted to let you know...last week she may have given one the stare when it got to close to her home." "Oh....so that's what happened to Glitter." Crystal said shivering a bit. She had heard about the stare after her history/recap lesson from Luna about the Elements. "I'll make sure to let them know."
"Good so how long you staying?" Michael asked earning a curious look from Crystal. "Not long...why?" "Nightmare night is coming up and i wanted your help and the changelings help with a little gig i'm putting on for the night. I'm getting Luna on it as well." He said with a smile. Crystal thought about it for a moment and nodded. "Sure sounds like fun. Whats it going to be?" She asked as Michael gave a sly smile. "A concert."
Nightmare night. "Its Halloween...." "Shut up brother." Crystal stood behind the stage they had set up the day before in what could just be called the garments of a changeling queen. I'm not going to go into details but it made her look darker then usual. Michael who stood next to her was dressed up in what could be seen as a large pitch black cloak and a hood covering his face and a scythe made of magic in one hand and a mic in the other. He decided to dress as the grim reaper for this day and the half black half white wings really worked with the look as well.
Michael was still going on about the similarities of the pony events and earths events. Like when he heard about the Equestria games they sounded so similar to there Olympics back on earth. After being shut up by his sister again he went over there concert on the paper Twilight writ up for him. He then noticed a shadow over him and looked up to see Luna there. "Ah there you are....no epic entrance?" He asked. "we....I wished to wait for the concert for our entrance."
"Of course." He said as as A blue Stallion took the stage dressed in Luna's armor. Michael met him when he was recovering at the castle after the changeling attack. "Fillies and Gentlecolts. We are gather here tonight cause of the demon that haunts the dark. The one who eats the souls of the innocent. Let us spin the tale of NIGHTMARE NIGHT." He then saw his next guest take the stage. Vinyl introduced him to Michael as well. He went my Mic the Microphone.(Click me)

Another pony then appeared in the crowd and began his piece to the song. He was a friend of Mic who Michael learned his name was Wooden Toaster.

After Nightmares introduction the smoke cleared and Wooden, Mic, Brony, and skittle bowed to the crowd or what was left of it after there performance. The crowd cheered as they stepped backstage where Michael, Crystal, and Luna waited. Michael grinned as he was applauding as well. "Guy I have to say after that performance I am glad I met you." "Yeah well we had plenty of time to practice. Hey how bout after the show we all get a drink in celebration." Wooden said as everyone nodded in agreement.
It was then Michael's turn to head up to the stage. He walked up to the podium and looked out on the crowd. He saw some shifting behind the curtains and knew who it was. Vinyl had arrived. He smiled as he looked back at the crowd. "Well after that last performance I will be hard pressed on my next song. Its not as much scary but it will get you moving and i hope all you changelings out there will give me a hoof here." He said just as the sounds of bones jangling could be heard. After the drop Michael pulled his hood back and grabbed the mic and started singing.(click here)
At that point The curtains came up and Vinyl start working her magic with the music and the changeling in the crowd erupted in flame and in there place stood skeleton ponies who cackled in the air. The tune filled the night sky as the ponies in the crowd screamed at the sudden transformation and a deep mist covered the ground before Michael continued singing along with the song. For certain reasons i'm gonna not put up lyrics for the song cause i'm lazy like that. Just listen to the music in the link above.
At the end of the song the changelings returned to normal and the crowd or what was left and was not running around screaming there heads off erupted in cheers. Michael smiled as he and Vinyl bowed to the crowd. "Thank you all for letting me do this. Now let us enjoy this beautiful Nightmare night. For those filly's who are ready Zecora will lead you to tell the tale of nightmare night at her statue." He said as Zecora came forward and led some fillies away from the crowd. Michael placed his hood back over his head and walked backstage where a gaping Luna and Crystal stood. "Enjoy the show." He said with a laugh.
Nightmare night passed without a hitch and time passed for the intrepid hero. Whats intrepid mean? ......favored? Oh right please continue then. ...OK now if there aren't anymore interruptions.
Michael check the calender in his room for the date. He had been marking the days he had been in this world and so far he had been there for over 2 months and he had only reunited with Crystal like 2 weeks ago. He sighed as he layed back on his bed getting his wings adjusted under him. He was about to dose off for a nap when he heard a belch from outside his door. He recognized it as Spikes mail fire...thing. "I thought he went with Twilight." He said quietly to himself. He got up and opened the door to see him standing there about to knock with out hand and a letter in the other....or in this case a scroll.
"Letter for us." Spike said holding the scroll up for him. "Us?" Michael raised an eyebrow as he took the scroll and saw it was assigned to him and the elements including spike from the Princess. He unfurled it to find 2 letters one being specifically for him. He decided to read his first making sure to silent read it as it said private.
Dear Michael,
I hope you might be able to assist in a problem that has come up. We want to relay to you the information for this task before revealing it all to Twilight and the other girls. Do not show this letter to them...especially Twilight. We will tell her all she needs to know when you arrive by train later.-
Michael paused and looked at spike who was trying to peek. "Go get the girls and bring them back here." Spike looked at him and nodded before running off again. Michael walked back into his room and sat on his bed before continuing to read.
-We have just received word that the crystal empire has just revealed itself once again. It is as it sounds a city made of mostly crystal with magic flowing all around it. It was lost long ago by a tyrant known only as Sombra. He had taken the kingdom and enslaved the inhabitants. He it a unicorn who controlled dark magic and is said to consume crystal to extend his life. Me and my sister fought long and hard to defeat him but all we managed to do was banish him to the frozen north but before we did so he cursed the kingdom and made it disappear. Now that it has reappeared we plan to make safe the city. We have already sent Shining armor and my niece cadence to the city and i have received word that they have already erected a shield around the city and are fending off Sombra's assault. I request you to go ahead of the girls to the city and do whatever you can to defend the city from Sombra. i hope you will do this for us as a favor. You did save our lives and i regret that i must ask for more of you but you are a powerful asset. Please help us.

Michael thought for a moment before looking at the signature. Twilight had told him when she only put her name without the princess part it was a personal important letter. He took some time to think on what he was going to do and nodded after awhile. He took his letter and slid it into his pocket and moved downstairs in the library. He grabbed some supplies and placed the other letter on the table for the girls to see when they arrived and flew out the door making sure to close it behind him. He flew into the sky and used his magic to make his mental map. He had done this before when he was getting a lay of the land in Equestria one time.
He then found something on the map that was not there before in the north. He figured it was they crystal empire and flew off toward the empire.

"Are you sure this is wise sister?" "He is there Guardian. We must have faith in his abilities Luna." "Even if he has a bit of control of his powers are you sure he is up to the task. Sombra was a power adversary then he is still now." "I'm positive he will succeed and do not worry. The Elements are right behind him."

Being forced to land due to the snow storm Michael trudged on furling his wings around him like a cloak keeping him warm. He stopped using magic here due to the wild magic in the air. "I'm starting to regret letting Twilight dismantle my glider." He said to himself as he trudged through the snow.
He heard a strange noise in the air then like a wailing sound. He looked around him and kept a hand on his bow just in case. He felt the dark magic in the air then felt something on his shoulder. He turned quickly bow and arrow in hand pointing right at a white hair blue maned pony wearing winter gear. "WAIT!" The unicorn quickly raised a hoof to stop Michael as he moved the gear revealing himself. "Are you Michael?" He asked. "Yeh. Who's asking?" "My name is Shining armor. I was sent to keep an eye out for you. We need to move to the barrier before whatever dark force out here finds us." He said waving his hoof for Michael to follow. He lowered his bow and glanced around before following after Shining. They made it without a problem but Michael couldn't shake the feeling he was being watch and it wasn't by Shining.
As they made it passed the barrier he looked up at the city/Empire before him and he was amazed. I won't go into detail but lets just say.....shiny. Everything was crystal. "Whow." "I know. I was the same way when we got here." Armor said as he came up beside Michael. "Come on. I'll lead you to the castle where my wife is." He said cause Michael to raise an eyebrow again. "Why is that significant?" "She is the one powering the barrier." "Oh." He then followed after Armor.
They made there way through the streets and Michael noticed how empty it was. "Where is everypony?...wow...took awhile." "What?" "The pony puns are getting to me." Armor stopped for a moment and stared at him before shaking his head and looking around himself. "I don't know why there is no one around. Most of the inhabitants are either scared that Sombra will return or just well...to depressed to talk....Come on." He said continuing on.
As they entered the castle and the main hall Michael noticed another Alicorn at the throne in the room. She was pink like Pinkie.....i know right? He hair color reminded him of Twilight's except slightly lighter and she looked weary. Armor immediately went to her side and nuzzled her. "I'm back. Are you ok Dear." "Heh if you call lack of sleep OK then i'm peachy...oooh." She held a hoof to her head as if in pain. "Whats wrong?" Michael said coming forward. "She is the only thing keeping Sombra out. Whenever he makes a move on the barrier it hurts her. she hasn't slept for days." "I'm alright." Cadence said rubbing her head. "She's not and she can't keep this up forever....wait a minute...wasn't Twily and the other supposed to be with you?" "Twily?" "I'm her brother. Its a nickname." "Oh.....I am so using that against her. But yeah they were coming later." Shining nodded and walked past Michael. "I'll go wait for them." He said before leaving.
Michael turned to Cadence who still looked weary. "Need any help?" "It would be appreciated but i need the power of love to power the shield. Only my Shining can help." "Well then your lucky I'm a spell binder." "A what?" Candence looked confused now as Michael began to focus. "Trust me." He said as he held his hand up and the tint of the shield began to turn blue instead of pink. Cadence started feeling the weight of the shield come off her and she looked at Michael in wonder. "Go rest. I can hold it for a bit." He said as Cadence smiled at him. she walked over and nuzzled his cheek gently. "Thank you." She said before walking off. Michael felt a pulse in the shield and a howl in the distance. He rubbed his head and sat down cross legged.
In the silence of the throne room where Michael sat he heard the sounds of the wind and howling of Sombra outside the shield. He at this point decided to meditate to keep his energy reserve in check so he could focus his power on the shields defense. He had no idea what Cadence was going through when she held up the shield and now he was taking to full brunt of it. This Sombra was a powerful @#$hole if he could give Michael this big a headache.
His silence was interrupted tho when he heard voices from the corridor and in came the mane 6 including one Spike and Shining armor combo. But as he opened his eyes he noticed Shining had some black stuff coating his horn. He got up slowly keeping his magic focus on the shield as he walked over. Shining noticed a certain pony missing from the room then. "Where is Cadence. I thought she was holding the shield and speaking of which why is it blue?" Michael smiled at that and raised a hand. "Wait what? Its yours?" "Guilty as charged. I took control of the shield to let Cadence rest. She looked like she needed it. Now i know how she felt. Minus the sleep depression." Michael said rubbing the back of his head.
"How did you make that shield? Only me and Cadence..." Shining started but was interrupted "I didn't make it. I took control of her shield away from her and now I maintain it. Also I took every precaution against anyone else taking control unless I allow it. Speaking of which what happened to your horn?" Michael asked poking it and getting a little shock in return. "Sombra did something on the way here and now he can't use it." Twilight spoke up as the girls looked at Shining in worry. "I guess that means I can't ask you to fill in for me." "I'm afraid not." Shining said.
"Well I guess it doesn't matter. When Cadence is ready I shall return control to her. In the meantime you girl...and spike should go and search for information on how to stop Sombra. When Cadence returns I shall help." Michael said taking a seat again on the floor. "I talked with some of the townsfolk myself in my free time before I got you all. I couldn't get anything out of them. Try asking around and see if you can get where I couldn't." Shining said and the girls nodded and ran off with spike right after them. "Speaking of which what should I do?" He asked Michael. "Your of no use with your horn like that. Head to the infirmary and see about removing those crystals from it and then go to your wife. She needs you now." Michael said and Shining nodded and left him there. At that Michael returned to his meditating. He felt more pulses in his shield as Sombra pounded on it.
Time passed and Michael heard hoof steps again. He looked up and saw Cadence had returned. "Feeling better?" He asked as she smiled and nodded. "Good." He got up and looked up at the shield. "I can take the shield back now if you want to go help the others." She said as Michael noticed Shining had entered the room. "Alright then." Michael prepared the spell to transfer control back to Cadence as she prepared to take control. All of a sudden a pulse passed through the shield making Michael lose focus as the shield shattered and Cadence got hit with the brunt of the magic making her become dizzy. "Uh oh." He ran to the window and saw the dark clouds in the distance. Sombra must have hit the shield as they were transfering power. "Quick we need to get the shield back up." Shining said as he went to his wife's side. By then she had recovered and was working quickly with her magic. As Sombra got closer her magic flared up and the shield became active again tho unbeknownst to them it pushed Sombra back and cut his horn off as it fell inside the shield. Michael looked out the window again to see Sombra getting pushed back by the shield as he sighed in relief.
"That was close." He said looking back at Cadence and Shining who nodded in agreement. "Lets not do that again. I think i'll just hang on to the shield for now." Cadence said with a nervous smile. "Agreed. I suggest you 2 head for the balcony." "Ok it would be good for us to oversee the festival." Shining said as he picked Cadence up to her feet. "Festival?" "Yeh. Twilight found out that the kingdom had a protection system. An artifact known as the crystal heart. It is said to be powered by the joy of the crystal ponies so they plan to put together the annual crystal fair to bring up the ponies spirits to power the heart." "Wait they already have the crystal heart?" Michael asked. "um no they made...one...uh oh." shining then realized what Michael was getting at. "uh huh I don't think its that simple that you can just make a crystal heart. They must have had one that was specifically designed to work. When Sombra ruled he must have hidden it somewhere but..." Michael's train of though was interrupted then as Twilight and spike came in running for the throne. Michael looked back at Shining and Cadence and they nodded before they headed to the balcony.
Michael walked over to Twilight and saw he staring at the crystal behind the throne. "Let me guess. You found out about the heart." Twilight turned and nodded. "Yeh tho it was actually Rainbow who figured it out when one of the ponies remembered it." "So...why are you here?" "Simple. I heard a riddle from a Crystal pony about the wear about of the heart. I think its here." She said. Before Michael could say anything else Twilight started to focus her magic in her horn which then became dark purple. It then shot out to the crystal. She broke the magic off as the crystal glowed and the floor gave way to a stairway. Michael looked to the stairs then back to twilight. "Something the Princess showed me." "That was dark magic. You shouldn't be using it." "I'm fine. I only use it in short bursts." She said catching her breath as she started walking down. Michael noticed Spike wasn't following and didn't question it.
He decided to take the quick route and jump down the gap in the middle of the circle stairs. He fell for awhile before landing at the bottom gently using his wings The first thing he noticed was a door with a crystal adorning the top. He heard a grunt and some thuds from above and noticed Twilight falling down the stairs. He waved his hands to stop her decent and lower her down to the bottom. "Thanks." she said as she landed on her feet. "You guys ok down there?" Spikes voice echoed from above. "Yeh were fine spike." Twilight called back up as she examined the door. She figured it could open the same way as the crystal but before she could begin casting she felt Michael flick her horn disrupting the magic. "Not again. Besides i don't think Sombra was that stupid to use the same opening spell as everything else." He said as magic enveloped his hand and he shot it at the crystal making it glow bright. The door clicked opened revealing outside. Michael noticed the shield faltering. "Oh no. That disruption earlier must have weakened Cadence when she redid the shield. We need to hurry." "Right." Twilight said as they proceeded through the door.
Shining looked out from the balcony at the faltering shield and held Cadence close to him. He was about to say something when another pulse came through the shield making Cadence cry out in pain before her magic failed then. "Cadence!" He called out as he caught her just as she was knocked out.
From below the other girls looked up in time to see the shield go out as well. "Uh girls. We got a problem." Applejack said looking a bit scared. "Yeh we see it." Rainbow said a bit irritated at the obviousness of Applejack. "Rainbow go check on Cadence and Shining. Something must have gone wrong." Rarity said as Rainbow saluted and flew off.

Michael was running quickly up the winding stairway with Twilight right behind him. He looked to the side as he was running and saw the shield go out and the dark clouds start to descend on the city. "Aw crap Twilight hurry!" He said as he stopped and quickly grabbed twilight in one arm. He then spread his wings and flew off the stairs and straight up to the top.
He landed on the platform and placed Twilight down before she noticed the crystal heart floating there. "There it is!" She said and on instinct ran for it. "WAIT NO!" Before Michael could stop her dark crystal erupted from the ground around her and the crystal heart was pushed out into Michael arms. "Twilight! You ok?" Michael ask as she shook her head and tried using her magic only for it to fail on her. "No i can't use my magic. I'm stuck. where's the heart?" "I got it. Its safe." Michael said holding it up. "Good. Take it to cadence. She will know what to do with it." "What! No I can't leave you here." Michael said as he cradled the heart in one of his wings and pulled his bow out aiming it at the crystals.
Before he could fire he felt the wind pick up and quickly dodged backwards just in time to avoid a blast of black energy from hitting him. He looked to the side to see a dark Unicorn riding the black clouds coming toward him. Michael readied himself as the figure laughed loudly in the air and spoke with a dark voice. "Ah so you are the one who held that blue shield from before. Quiet interesting." "Sombra I assume." Michael said with a angry look in his eyes. Sombra just chuckled at him as he floated there. "Ah so you know of me. I assumed as much. But enough of this. You have something of mine and I wish for it back." Sombra said as the dark magic surrounded him.
"I'm sorry you call has been put on hold. Here's some music to pass the time." Michael said then in reply. Sombra looked confused then and in that moment an arrow appeared before him piercing him in the shoulder. He cried out in pain as he pulled the arrow out and threw it to the side. He looked down at Michael as he held another purple arrow in his free hand. "So be it." the dark magic the shot out toward Michael. He saw this and jumped from the edge of the platform as the magic impacted where he once stood. he landed on the side of the tower and slid down the side on his feet. As he slid he pulled 3 arrows out of the quiver and shot one at Sombra. He prepared to defend but it blew up in his face before it even hit him in a flash of light blinding him. The next one slammed into his chest and blew him back into the air and the 3 appeared above him and blew up in an explosion of fire sending him straight down to the ground.
Michael halted his slide by grabbing a flag pole on the side of the tower and quickly put away his bow. He then retrieved the heart from his wing and floated down to the ground with the girls behind him minus Twilight who was still trapped on the tower. Rainbow dash had escorted Cadence and Shining down the them moments ago. Michael ran over and held the heart out to Cadence who smiled upon seeing it. Then her expression changed when she saw something behind Michael. She quickly grabbed the heart in her magic as Michael turned to see an infuriated Sombra come out of the crater her made upon landing. "I see your still standing." Michael said as he moved to stand in between the girls and Sombra. "You think some twigs could take me down. You only delay the inevitable." "Yeh? And what you failed to notice was that you have just lost." Shining called out from behind the group. Sombra looked up and noticed Cadence had set up the heart and was channeling her magic. "NO!" Sombra then lunged forward only for Michael to jump up in his way and twist his body to the side sending a kick straight into Sombra's face sending him back into the ground. Michael landed and was blown back straight into the girls hooves by Sombra's magic. He rubbed his head as the girls pushed him to his feet.
"We got your back Michael!" Rainbow said as she stood next to him. He looked at her like she was insane before a hoof tapped his other side. He turned to see Applejack there. "Were in this together remember?" "As friends." Rarity said as she came up on the other side of Applejack. "Yeh. We won't let this big meanie take over. That's just sad and evil." Pinkie said as she came up beside rainbow. "Were with you." Fluttershy's small voice said as she floated above them. Michael looked at all of them and nodded. "Alright. Now if only Twilight was here." "Did somepony say my name?" A voice rang out as Twilight came running out of the castle toward them. "What! But you were trapped!" Michael said as Twilight stood in front of him. "Sombra's energy blast broke the cage keeping me trapped. You didn't notice."
"What little difference it make's. A whole army can not stop me!" Sombra's voice rang out as dark energy erupted around the group. "Maybe not an army. But love will!" Cadences called out as her magic erupted forth into the air and into the crystal heart taking Sombra by surprise. "WHAT! NOOOOOO!" He cried out as the energy hit his square in the chest. Light erupted from him as he called out in pain before exploding in an array of magic. The energy from the heart then exploded out as Michael turned to it but before he could see it, it hit him and everything went dark.

He stood there looking around the black.
What was he looking for?

"Huh?" "Hey he's moving."

"This should not have happened! Where is Crystal?"

Michael's eyes opened slowly as he tried to get his bearing. He groaned as his body ached all over. He turned his head or what he thought was his head to the side of the bed he lay on to see Celestia sitting there staring at him with a serious look in her eyes. Then she spoke in a calming voice. "I see you are awake now. Do you remember anything?" She asked. Michael stared at her for a moment before trying to speak. His mouth felt wrong but he spoke out. "I...Yeh...That magic...we beat Sombra?" Celestia nodded before her face changed to a sad look. "But not without a sacrifice." "What do you mean?" Michael asked as he tried moving but couldn't control his limbs.
"Remember what I told you about you wings? How they were a form of ponyfication that was not fully complete when you came to this world." "Yeh....what about......" Michael then started putting the pieces together. "Where's a mirror." He said in a serious voice. Celestia sighed as her magic came forth and a full body mirror was moved to the other side of the bed. Michael slowly turned his head around and what he saw...well lets just say he was surprised. What he saw in the bed was a Gray pony with a pointed horn and a black and white mane. He could see the tips of his wings at the edge of the blanket underneath him. Needless to say after a minute of staring he passed out again.
So yeh i'm low on ideas so for now i'm ending this story here and i'm gonna start a sequel for it.....idk...i could use some idea's so to those supportive readers out there i want idea's. I was thinking of a comment driven sequel for this so for the first chapter send me comments on what should happen. I would say a month has passed for Michael recovery and we'll go from there.
