Sam Tillman was living the dream back in the human world before falling through the portal to Equestria at least.

What would you do, If you fell into a world filled with magical ponies? Well I'll tell you what I did, My name is Sam Tillman, I'm a 21-year old gamer. I wish I could say I am dreaming but, I think Twilight's magic was proof enough that i wasn't.
I guess I should get use to the fact of being in a world where I'm surrounded by ponies. The Princess's have told me that I will be staying here practically all my life. I wonder if I could get acquainted with a new body as well, only one pony to ask, I hate standing out in the crowd anyway.

I would like to Thank SapphireLibra3
For helping me make this story just a little bit better xD

The Equestrian World

View Online

If you ever told me that someday I'd travel to another dimension where ponies ruled the land known as Equestria. I'd probably hit you as hard I could so I could "knock some sense" into you. Unfortunately, I would have lost that bet because here I am lying in this bed staring at these two ponies who are apparently the rulers of Equestria. Which I have just learned from these ponies is that I may not be able to go back to my home world after all.

Now I guess I should explain how I got here. It was an average day for me in Ohio; wake up, work, then come home and stare at the ceiling for hours on end. I have a raggedy old apartment but, I have the job I've always wanted (well had), rent was always paid on time, and was happy about where my life was going.

I am a Gamer and I have been all my life so I decided to find a job doing exactly that, so here's how i got fired. I was playing Modern Warfare 3 with some bucking German kids who apparently love noobtubes and it pisses me off when I am the final kill (I have anger management issues sometimes don't judge). So I picked up the Xbox 360, and threw it out the top of the building window and my boss, Chris, might have been standing there when I threw it.

"What the hell Sam?!" Chris said, "That was the only Xbox we had left!"

"Okay maybe throwing the Xbox out the window was a little extreme," I said while looking out the window. I chuckle as I see a hobo go up to it and take it scurrying away as though he'd been caught with drugs.

"Sam this is the third time you've done this," Chris said clearly pissed off with what I just did.

"Actually it was the forth Chris," I replied plainly.

All he had to do was point towards the exit and I knew he was firing me. Unfortunately that was the only job I had, one that paid the bills as well.

I walked out of the building hearing the bustling noise of traffic coming from the intersection a few blocks away. I start to walk towards my old neighborhood where my parents, and my two brothers and I used to live in years ago. My parents are now living the rest of their days retired together in Puerto Rico, My oldest brother is living his dream as a doctor in Columbus. Then my step-brother is still studying Human Resources in college, then here I am living my old teenage dream of being a gamer for a living. Yeah, that dream didn't last very long, I rolled my eyes.

Whenever I had days like this I would always go to the park in my old neighborhood where my parents, my brothers, and I used to live in. There was a statue there I would sit by and for some reason it would always relieve me of any stress or depression in my life. The statue was that of a tall white horse wearing diamond-colored armor. For me this statue symbolized someone who is devoted, loving, friendly, and will be there when anyone calls for them.

I sat down next to the horse, beginning to reflect on the day, Why would I do something stupid like that anyway? It's just a game there was no need to throw the Xbox out the window, I chuckled at that thought. Since I turned 21 I have been a drinker, So I kept a 6-pack of Bud Light behind the statue since it was my place where I relieved my stress. Apparently it's where I drown my sorrows in a couple of drinks as well. I pulled a bottle out of the pack and popped it open, I looked up towards the ominous cloud filled sky. Looks like there's a dark cloud hanging over my head, I chuckled at that stupid pun for some reason, guess I still can't hold my own very good can I? I set the bottle aside. Suddenly, The first bolt of lightning struck, shortly after the thunder roared paralyzing my body.

I fall backwards but never hit the statue's stone podium.

"Twilight, you need to focus your energy," Celestia sighed repeating herself for about the hundredth time.

The young alicorn has been spending the last week getting lessons from her teacher, Princess Celestia. Since she is now a princess she has moved up in her studies of not only friendship, but her magic as well. Twilight has been trying to make this portal work again for almost 12 hours.

"Princess Celestia why am I doing this again?" Twilight asked.

"The spell is supposed to open the portal used to travel to Sunset Shimmers dimension," Celestia continues to stare at the Mirror. "When you had to retrieve your crown from Sunset Shimmer the portal was open for three days. This spell would allow you to open the portal instantly, without having to wait 30 moons for the next time the portal would open," Celestia paced around the room for a few moments. "Try the spell once more Twilight," Celestia said finally.

Twilight nodded then turned her attention to the mirror, determined to make this portal open. She charged up her horn once more, aiming towards the mirror she released all her energy, a bright flash swarmed the room which the princesses stood in. Blinding the both of them for a short time. The white flash flooding the room had vanished, suddenly, a human was thrown out of the portal, startling both Twilight and Celestia. Twilight fired a beam towards him out of complete shock, the purple beam skimmed his neck and continued towards the mirror. The mirror shattered, the pieces falling to the ground.

"Luna we can't send this human back to his own world remember?" Princess Celestia said, "Twilight shattered the portal to his world permanently only mere seconds after he fell into Equestria," Celestia looks down to the unconscious Sam.

"I said I was sorry, I didn't mean to attack him, or break the mirror" Twilight said shamefully.

"It's alright Twilight, at least this happened after you got your crown back," Celestia sighed still upset with Twilight for breaking the mirror. She can't stay mad at Twilight because she would have done the same thing if she was in her hooves.

"So what happens now princess?" Twilight looked up to her teacher who appears to be thinking the same thing.

"Unfortunately he will have to stay here in Equestria for the rest of his life," Celestia said.

"We should bring the rest of them here to get him better acquainted with us ponies," Luna suggested.

"Except for Pinkie Pie," Twilight said. They all laughed at the thought of Pinkie being the first thing this human sees when he wakes. They all agreed that they would bring the others to Canterlot for when he wakes.

The princesses walked out of Sam's room, all except for Princess Luna.

"Come on Lulu!" Celestia figured she would get a glare from her sister. Luna hated when anypony called her that, she had to admit it was a nice name but, was embarrassing as well.

"I'm just going to watch over him, I'll join you two a little later," Luna waved them off as she went back to staring at Sam. I wonder what he is dreaming of at the moment, with that she jumped into the mind of Sam...

The fire burned furiously towards me as I skip across the cliffs, One slip-up and I'm as good as gone! I thought, heh, luckily I was great at parkour, and a smug look crossed my face.

"I don't even know where I'm at," I began to talk out-loud,"Everywhere I look there's only darkness, that and the fire," I look back at the flames that are not far behind me. I looked towards the trail I was taking to notice that the cliff was at the end.

"Shit!" I start falling, the darkness beginning to weave through my heart and soul. Entangling me in fear, muffling any of my cries for help. It incarcerates my body, the air in my lungs starting to fade away as my face starts contorting.

Great this is how I die, I thought. The dark shadow loosens its grasp on me, as though it heard my thoughts.

"I can hear your thoughts Sam," It said in a comforting tone.

"What?! Who are you?!"

"You may call me Luna," She said.

"Where are we going? And what are you doing with me?"

"You're in Equestria now," she said.

"Well can you put me down?!"

"If you'd rather burn alive then I can most certainly put you down," she let my vision return to see what was going on that moment. I saw the fire clearly chasing after Luna now.

"heh, no I'm good," I said clearly ashamed of raising my voice.

"Let's make this a little easier for us, shall we? Luna said.

The dark shadow that was Luna turned into almost the size of a full grown horse, I sighed in relief for I thought somewhere in my mind she was lying about this "Equestria" deal. The fire chasing us began to fade, I looked forward to notice there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Oh haha, very funny Was the last thought I had before everything went dark once more...
