> Unexpected Arrival

It was a peaceful day since the Christmas celebration in the Equestrian Isles in Skylands. In the Canterlot Portal Chamber, three Water Skylanders, Gill Grunt, a gillman marine armed with a Harpoon Gun, Wham Shell, a King of a kingdom in the oceans of Skylands, and Zap, a Water Dragon Prince who was raised by electric eels, entered the chamber and attempted to use the Portal of Power to get to Skylands.

"Ok, so we know that Celestia and Luna use the portal for transportation to Skylands." said Gill Grunt.

Wham Shell spoke, "But they also use it to observe other worlds."

Zap replied looked at the portal's image, "The portal is already set up to take us to the Core of Light."

Gill sighed, "Hopefully we could get some answers on that crystal that I found in Leviathan Bay the other day." The gillman reached into his pocket and pulled out said crystal. It was light blue for sure, but the shape of the crystal was that of a trident. When they returned to Equestria, they talked with Twilight and Pop Fizz, who was using the alchemy lab in her basement, about the crystal. But even with the many books in the library, there was nothing on the trident shaped crystal. They soon decided to find Hugo and show him the crystal if there's any chance of finding out what it is and the history behind it. 

The trio stepped onto the portal waiting for it to send them to the core of light where Hugo would most likely be. But strangely, nothing happened even though the portal was functioning properly. The portal wouldn't be able to glitch out like that. As the trio were trying to figure out what was going on, a faint glow occurred as the crystal slipped out of Gill's hands by an unseen force as it moved to front of the portal facing the door and planted itself between the other symbols. There was a slight jingle to the crystal merging with the device as the portal powered up with a bluish glow. Unfortunately, the three Skylanders were still standing on the portal as it powered up. It soon flung the trio to parts unknown, Gill Grunt yelled, 

"Whoa!"

Wham Shell shouted, "What's happening!?"

Zap was spiraling out of control as he said, "We're being sent somewhere, obviously!"

The marine shouted, "Guys, triangle jump, now!"

The three Skylanders held each others hands in a triangle formation as they fell through the transition realm into an unknown world. As they fell, they  passed what looked like a ship as they let out a scream before they hit the water, spooking one of the sailors in the process,

"I must be seeing things."

That sailor was approached by a black haired man, white shirt, blue pants and black boots as a dog followed him,

"What do you mean?"

"I saw a streak of blue light and a sound of screaming. I hope the king of the sea will still be in a friendly type mood."

As soon as they stopped falling, the Skylanders released each other and looked around, they realized that they were underwater as Wham Shell asked,

"Gill, what just happen?"

Gill checked his Portaltrix, given by Spyro as a Christmas present, "I'm no portal expert, but that crystal interacted with the portal in some way, giving us access to a new world."

Zap asked, "But where in this world are we?"

Gill Grunt replied, "Well, according to the Portaltrix, we are in the middle of an ocean known as the Atlantic."

Zap sighed, "We're in a new world with no direction, and no way back.

Gill nodded as he shut down the Portaltrix, "Pretty much, we're stuck here until the others find out we're missing."

Wham Shell was about to sigh until he spotted something moving near a tunnel, he readied his mace while letting the others know, "Guys, I think I saw something." Gill Grunt readied his Harpoon Gun and Zap readied his electricity pack to chase after the unknown.

They followed the unknown into a tunnel as they began to see more of them...half-human, half-fish. The Skylanders were curious until they saw hundreds of those creatures gather at a beautiful bright castle, and saw them gather at a concert hall. Gill Grunt stuttered, mostly due to personal experiences,

"M..M..M.M..Merpeople."

Zap responded, "Holy Carp!"

Wham Shell lowered his mace, "It looks like a concert is about to start."

The Skylanders decided to take the front row, so they can get a better look. While swimming to the front row, they were given confused stares from the other merpeople. Zap noticed this and whispered,

"I'm getting a tingling feeling that they never seen anyone like us before." Gill knew what the dragon meant, "We are a bit out of place."

Wham-Shell pointed, "Almost like those two over there." He was pointing to a pair of odd creatures, one was a turtle with a cartoon dog's head and the other was a mix between a cartoon duck and a squid. The dog/turtle thing chuckled, "Yep, we're as much out of place as you three are."

The duck angrily spoke, although he had a speech impediment, "Mind your own business, ya big palooka!"

Wham-Shell knew that the duck/squid had seen combat before so he nodded and followed the others. As soon as they took their seats, they saw a small seahorse annouce the king of the Merpeople named King Triton. The King was riding a chariot pulled by dolphins, the king himself was a strong merman with a blue tail, a long white beard and a crown. He was also holding a trident, almost similar to the crystal that sent them to this world, something that Wham Shell noticed,

"Another King with a charge to protect his people. But the shape of that trident is similar to the crystal that brought us here."

Zap asked, "Are you sure?" Wham-Shell explained, "I'm positive."

After Triton completed his introduction by using the trident to create a spectacular light show. The composer for the concert, Sebastian had entered the concert hall, although not to a standing ovation like the king, but he was just as important composer is what made Gill Grunt ask, "Isn't that a crab?"

Zap licked his lips, "Well, it would make a good meal for me." Wham Shell smacked Zap, "OWWW, WHAM SHELL!"

Wham Shell said, "Really!?" The Water Dragon rubbed his head, "Can't you just take a joke?"

As the two were arguing about Zap's stupid comment, Gill noticed that the crab and the king were talking about something. He did hear the crab say that they have rehearsed it several time and that the king's daughters are going to be magnificent. The marine thought,  "Huh, this concert is for the king's daughters?" He heard Triton mention something else, but with Wham-Shell and Zap arguing, he couldn't make out what he said. He saw the king's chariot touch down on a nearby balcony while the composer took his place with the band. Gill decided to stop his friends arguing,

"If you boys are done, the concert is about to start." 

Both dragon and crustacean stopped fighting as the concert started, Sebastian reached into his small shell and pulled out a large list of music. After setting up his work, he tapped the baton, signaling the band members and started the music. As the music started, three clams had risen up and opened, revealing two mermaids in each clam. Gill Grunt did the math and there were six mermaids performing, singing and introducing each other one by one. Gill let out a light chuckle,  "These are Triton's daughters? He must be a busy man having to deal with six daughters and running the kingdom." 

Gill's thoughts grew to intrigue when the six mermaids announced the youngest in her debut. Zap was amazed as he thought,  "A seventh daughter?!" A fourth clam had risen up as the six mermaids swam around it, still singing of course. The three Skylanders looked at Sebastian and at Triton, both had a look of excitement and anticipation. They were practically waiting for this moment for the youngest to make her debut. Even the crowds were excited to meet the youngest of the king's daughters as the mermaids introduced her as the clam opened to - nothing. This let out gasps of shock to everyone gathered in the hall, including Sebastian and not because Zap accidentily zapped the crowd. Triton's youngest daughter wasn't there. Gill Grunt noticed that Triton was angry at this revelation and signaled,

"Now it would be an excellent time to leave, guys!" Gill Grunt sped away, Zap replied, "I'm with ya, Gill." Zap left, and Wham Shell spoke, "It's going to get crazy, Let's go!"

As the Skylanders left, King Triton angrily shouted, "ARIEL!!!" 

Back in Equestria, Aloe and Lotus were wondering where Gill Grunt is. The twins spoke to any Skylanders who know about his whereabouts. Until they spoke to Chop Chop, Stealth Elf and Thumpback, Chop Chop realized,

"Come to think of it, we haven't seen Wham Shell or Zap anywhere."

Aloe asked, "Then they must've wandered off."

Thumpback spoke, "Gurglefin thought that he saw the three heading for Canterlot."

Lotus asked, "Who?"

Stealth Elf described, "Gurglefin is a Gillman that we saved in Skylands. He's mostly his finman, because they always seemed to get along."

Their conversation was cut short when Flashwing landed, "Guys, I think our Portal Masters know where those three are. We got a signal from the Princesses, that Gill Grunt, Wham Shell and Zap used the Portal of Power recently and then something unexpected happened. They want us in Canterlot immediatily."

Aloe spoke, "You better make sure Gill Grunt is okay."

The Gem Dragon spoke, "There's also a P.S. here, The Princesses want the Spa Twins to come to Canterlot castle. She finds both of you worthy and are ready."

When the Skylanders arrived at Canterlot, they were quickly escorted to the Portal Chamber where all Skylanders assembled. Princesses Celestia and Luna sat behind the Portal levitating a vial of the Skylanders Serum. The Spa Twins were shocked to discover this, Aloe started,

"Are you going to?"

Lotus finished, "Make us into Skylanders?"

Princess Celestia spoke, "You two might be owners and groomers of the Ponyville Spa, but you have abilities, unlike any other Earth Pony with the acception of Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Will you become Skylanders?"

The Spa Twins looked at each other and nodded, "We accept, but there's only one vial."

Princess Luna corrected, "You two are more powerful when you are united. So when you each drink half of the serum, you both become Skylanders."

Spyro stepped forward, "The first tag-team Skylanders. You two are a symbol of unity and that's what we like."

The Spa twins drank the Skylanders Serum, Aloe went first, Lotus went next. Both soon felt their hidden ability and say their battle cry,

"WASH AND BOOM!"

After they said it, they began to glow. They became Lightcore Skylanders for the Water Element, and became Skylanders. After the initiation, Princess Celestia turned her attention towards the Portal of Power and noticed the trident crystal attached to the front of the portal. She was curious, "That is the crystal that Gill Grunt found in Leviathan Bay."

Spyro recognized it, "No doubt about it, but something tells me that their disappearance had something to do with it." The Sun Goddess gazed back at the portal and spoke the tracking phrase, "When those who are missing have lost their way, reveal their location to us, do not delay."

The Portal came to life and an image appeared with the three Water Skylanders swimming to a rock. 

After making a mad dash out of the concert hall, the Water Skylanders swam up to the surface and decided to take a break on a nearby rock, Zap spoke while panting, "Whoa, That was close!"

Gill Grunt sat on the rock responded, "What kind of a crowd panics when the star of the show goes missing?"

Wham Shell replied, "A Wacky one, thats for sure, Gill."

Gill decided, "I think it's best that we remain up here until things blow over or at least until we find a way home."

Wham Shell pointed behind him, "And that seagull playing with a spyglass doesn't make you uneasy?" Gill was confused at first until he looked behind him and spotted the seagull that his fellow Skylander was talking about. This bird was strange since he was humming a tune while playing with a spyglass which got a confused look in the eyes of the Skylanders. Zap laughed at the bird's kookiness until they heard a female voice speak the bird's name,

"Scuttle!"

The seagull 'Scuttle' yelled, "Whoa!" pointing the spyglass the wrong way. The sudden movement of the bird frightened Zap, making him fall into the water which made Gill and Wham laugh since the dragon was covered in seaweed afterwards.

Zap sarcastically said, "Ha Ha, real funny guys! That's a really good laugh!"

Wham Shell stopped laughing and cleared his throat, "Are you all right, Zap?"

Scuttle yelled, "Mermaid off the port bow! Ariel, How ya doing kid!" He lowered the spyglass and noticed the mermaid in his face, "Whoa, what a swim!"

The Mermaid looked young, she had red hair, purple seashell bra and a green fishtail. She was also carrying a small bag full of stuff, she noticed the three Skylanders, "Oh hi there, I never seen you three around. My name is Ariel."

Zap introduced himself, "Nice to meet you Ariel. I'm Zap, and this is Gill Grunt, and Wham Shell."

The Mermaid's friend, Flounder spoke, "Ariel, these guys kind of scare me."

Wham-Shell thought, "Well, at least he didn't say we were creepy."

The Mermaid now began show Scuttle what they found. The stuff that they found was something the Skylanders recognize such as normal everyday things that they would find back home. Scuttle took a fork that Ariel shown him and dubbed it 'Dinglehopper'

Zap whispered, "Say What?"

Scuttle went on how this 'Dinglehopper' straightens hair out by testing it on the feathers on his head. While Ariel was amazed by the hair straightening fork, Gill Grunt whispered to his fellow Skylanders, "That bird is Cuco in the bird-brain." Wham Shell corrected, "Or misguided if you tell me."

Scuttle now began talking about a pipe which the Skylanders recognized it since most of the fancy people have them. But the bizarre seagull called a 'Snarf-blatt'

Back in Equestria, Thumpback was a little confused about what that stupid Seagull was saying.

"Dinglehopper? Snarf-Blatt? What's next, a snooze berry?"

Cynder replied, "Snooze Berry? Who ever heard of that?"

Spyro spoke, "If all of these whacky names from the kooky Seagull are done. Some of us will have to go there and meet up with those three."

The Princesses/Portal Masters thought this over and Luna decided, "The flying Skylanders could provide air recon while our huge friend Thumpback meets up with them."

Celestia concluded, "We need to make sure Thumpback appears right there."

Spyro said, "Giant first." Thumpback stepped onto the Portal of Power and appeared right at the meeting place where Gill, Wham and Zap are.

Back in this new world, Thumpback appeared near Scuttle's rock which nearly made the bird jump. Gill Grunt spoke, "Thumpback, Man it's good to see you again."

The Giant said, "Seeing you guys all right is music to my ears." Unbeknownst to the four, they just made Ariel remember something as she said in shock, "Music!"

The four Skylanders spoke, "Say what?"

The Mermaid began to gather up her treasures, "The Concert, Oh my gosh, my Father's going to kill me!"

Flounder spoke in shock, "The Concert was today!"

Gill realized this girl's identity, "Wait a minute, You're the missing diva!" 

After Ariel was finished, "I gotta get home! Thanks Scuttle!" Scuttle waved back as both she and her new friends dived into the ocean, "Anytime, sweetie! Anytime!" 

Ariel, Flounder and their new friends took off for Atlantica, no doubt that Triton would want a word with her about her bailing on the concert. But at least they made a new friend along the way and Thumpback is joining them for this adventure. As the swam through the sea, Thumpback had a feeling in his gut that they were being watched. He stopped for moment to take in his surroundings until Zap told him to come on. As the giant caught up, he could swore that he saw two pairs of glowing yellow eyes underneath a rock.
> The Rescue

As Ariel returned to Atlantica, the Water Skylanders and the Water Giant followed Ariel to the Throne Room, where her Father, King Triton was waiting for her. But he didn't expect that Ariel would bring her Skylander friends. The Skylanders were at Ariel's side when she was talking with her father. As they talked, the Skylanders realize that by Triton's sighing and not knowing what to do about her meant one thing - she's done this before,

"Daddy, I'm sorry, I just forgot." said Ariel.

King Triton spoke, "As a result of your careless behavior..." He was interrupted by Sebastian who is also his advisor and spoke with a Jamaican accent, "Careless and Reckless behavior!" The King continued, "The entire celebration was..." He was interrupted again, "Well it was ruined! Dat's what it was...completely destroyed!"

He swam closer to Ariel and the Skylanders, "Dis concert was to be the pinnacle of my distinguished career." The three knew that Ariel bailing on the concert was a blow to Sebastian's career as a musician and maybe to his ego as well.

Gill joked, "Well, I guess the composer is also a 'Crabby' advisor." The Skylanders started to giggle because of Gill's joke, which caught an annoyed stare from Sebastian. The crab continued, "NO TANKS TO YOU, I AM THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE ENTIRE KINGDOM!"

Flounder swam into the throne room to say, "It's not her fault!" That caught the eyes of Sebastian, King Triton and the Skylanders. Flounder explained the story of their day,

"First, the shark chased us and then Whoooaaa! Then we're safe, but then the Seagull came and then we meet these guys and soon enough, this big guy appeared in a flash of light!"

Thumpback replied, "My way to make an appearance."

King Triton was curious about Flounder's story up until he mentioned one thing, "Seagull?" Flounder gasped at this, realizing that he shouldn't have said that and hid behind Ariel. 

Wham-Shell spoke to the young fish, "I think you didn't need to say about the seagull, kid."

King Triton realized, "You went up to the surface again, didn't you? Didn't you?"

Ariel said to her father, "Nothing happened." Gill, Wham, Zap and Thumpback shrugged as Zap pointed out, "She has a point, sir. Nothing bad happened up there.

The King shot a glance at the four before turning to his daughter as he face-palmed, "Ariel, how many times must we go through this? You could have been seen by one of those barbarians, by one of those HUMANS!"

Thumpback was surprised, "Never heard about humans being dangerous before."

Ariel spoke, "Daddy, they're not Barbarians!"

King Triton replied, "They are dangerous. Do you think I would see my youngest daughter in some fish-eater's hook!"

Zap swam up, "Hey! She told us that she is 16 years old, she's not a child."

Gill grabbed the Water Dragon by the tail, "Whoa, Zap. This is between her and her father. No need to add your two cents."

Ariel took notice of the dragon defending her, "Zap is right, I'm 16 years old, I'm not a child!"

King Triton wasn't having it with his daughter's tone, "Don't you take that tone of voice at me, young lady. As long as you live under my ocean, you live by my rules!"

Ariel was desperate as she spoke, "But if you just listen..."

King Triton ended it saying, "NOT ANOTHER WORD! And I will never ever hear about you going to the surface again, EVER!" Ariel was sad about what her father said and swam away with Flounder in tow. King Triton sat in his throne, sighing about how he treated Ariel and spoke to the Skylanders,

"I'm sorry you had to be part in that argument, you four. But Ariel is so obsessed with the surface."

Wham-Shell spoke, "King Triton, as a King myself, I once protected my kingdom from evil trolls. But it doesn't make the surface a danger to everyone. Well in Skylands, all four of us live on the surface because its just floating isles."

Thumpback joined, "And about you insulting our former Portal Master, HE was a human. If you want to know if humans are bad or good, then you shouldn't be this hard on Ariel. If you don't see things through her point of view, you'll never understand the nature of her fascination."

Sebastian spoke, not wanting to hear the Skylanders, "Whatever you four are, please leave. Dis is none of your concern.

Gill Grunt placed his Harpoon gun on his back, "Let's go guys, it's best that we leave the king alone for a while" 
Gill Grunt and Thumpback left the throne room as Wham-Shell sheathed his mace, "It was nice meeting, your majesty." Triton nodded as the Skylander swam away. The last one to leave was Zap as he stated,

"To tell you the truth, when someone has a problem, it becomes our concern." The dragon left the throne room, leaving Triton alone at his throne with his advisor.

Back in Equestria, the Princesses and the other Skylanders were monitoring their progress. They even giggled when Thumpback reported that Wham-Shell whacked Zap with his mace over a seafood joke that he said earlier before they knew that they were missing. Camo pointed out,

"Those jokes are kinda weird to ask around Water Skylanders."

The group heard a call from Spyro, "Guys, we're getting exhausted from flying, we need to find a place to land."

Terrafin handed the Royal Sisters a medium-sized version of a Skylands boat. He spoke,

"Twilight enchanted it so it could serve as our transport for our adventures."

Celestia remembered a similar ship when Captain Dreadbeard took over the Pirate Islands and only surrendered if the Skylanders could beat him in a card game. Terrafin added, "Twilight had it christened as the Equestria Skylands Ship, Ignitus."

The goddess smirked, "After the Fire Guardian and the closest dragon Spyro has had to a father."

When Princess Celestia placed the Ignitus on the Portal of Power, it disappeared and reappeared much larger in that world. Tree Rex saw this and said to Terrafin,

"I should give you a High-5."

Terrafin agreed, "Hi-5!" But as Tree Rex lowered his massive right hand, Terrafin gulped, "Um...Bad idea." before Tree Rex's hand crushed the Dirt Shark. When the Giant raised his hand again, Applejack saw Terrafin in a crater and said,

"Ah'll get Terrafin's Special Apple Sauce."

Terrafin barely spoke because of the Hi-5 with Tree Rex, "Th..anks, Apple...Jack." He knew that it would help him back on his feet since he first made the recipe on accident. Tree Rex looked at the Terrafin Crater and asked,

"Was I too hard?"

Back in sea, the Water Skylanders followed their friend through the sea as they made their way out of the castle towards the outskirts. Thumpback soon got that feeling again that they were being watched. The giant stopped to look around and soon enough, he saw two bizarre creatures make their way to him. One looked like a cross between a duck and a squid, while the second was a turtle with a dog's head on it. The turtle spoke,

"Hey guys, how's it been?" The giant whipped out his anchor attempted to strike the turtle, only for it to be blocked by its shield. Gill, Wham and Zap saw the commotion as Gill spoke, "Thumpback! WAIT!!!" 

Wham-Shell whacked the giant on the head, "You need to think before you strike!" Thumpback rubbed his head as Zap recognized the two,

"Wait, you're the guys from the concert hall." The turtle chuckled, "That's right, folks. Since you three bailed when Ariel was revealed to be missing, we decided to make haste as well."

The duck squid stated,"We decided to join you guys." 

Ariel soon came to where they were and recognized the two, "Donald? Goofy? I didn't know you two were here." Donald stated, "We've just got here and met these four."

Goofy chuckled, "Well, we met back at the concert hall before things went downhill." 

Gill asked Donald, "You guys know her?"

The duck stated, "Yes, We're treasure buddies."

"Treasure buddies?" 

Goofy decided, "Follow us and we'll show ya." The Skylanders followed Ariel, Donald and Goofy to a rock formation as Ariel pushed a huge rock out of the way, revealing a hidden cave. The group went into the cave leading to a hidden grotto filled with many things that the group recognize. Zap was amazed,

"So that's what you mean by Treasure Buddies." Gill Grunt pointed out,"What a way to be organized, Ariel." The mermaid sighed, "Thanks Gill." 

Zap asked her, "How did you gather up such a collection?" Ariel spoke to the dragon, "Flounder and I usually travel from shipwreck to shipwreck." 

"Most of this stuff is used back in our world. It actually makes me homesick."

Wham-Shell checked everything out, "It has treasure chests, jewels and lots stuff from the surface." 

Goofy spoke up, "Well, we join her on her treasure hunts on most occasions." The mermaid was happy that her new friends enjoyed her collection. But she was still in a sad mood which Thumpback noticed since he knew the reason behind it, "Ariel, I know your father might take the matter of humans being a danger. But to not to us, Master Eon was a human, he was also a very wise Portal Master."

Ariel spoke to her friends, "But if I could just convince him to understand, everything could turn out different."

But as if out of nowhere, music began playing, Zap looked around for the source of the music and saw Pinkie Pie in scuba gear with a music player. Zap whispered, "Pinkie, what are you doing here?!"

The mare whispered, "Setting the tone for this musical number." The dragon was confused until he turned toward Ariel and then back to Pinkie, only to see that she vanished. 

Donald was surprised by the appearance and disappearance of the party pony and asked, "Who was that and how did she get here?" Thumpback sighed, "It's just Pinkie being Pinkie." Even though Pinkie was gone, the music was still playing as Ariel started to sing, 

"Look at this stuff
Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl
The girl who has ev'rything?
Look at this trove
Treasures untold
How many wonders can one cavern hold?
Lookin' around here you'd think
(Sure) she's got everything."

She was not lying there as the Skylanders witnessed, that she really has everything. It probably took her years to gather this many stuff even under the scrutiny of her father and his rules about humans. The six continued to watch her sing,

"I've got gadgets and gizmos aplenty
I've got whozits and whatzits galore."

She swam up to the six with a box,
"You want thingamabobs?" She opened it, "I got twenty." She set the box down and continued singing,
"But who cares?
No big deal
I want more."

This brought more curiosity for the skylanders even Donald and Goofy were curious about their friend's needs. What could she want more than human treasure? It was explained through song, 

"I want to be where the people are
I want to see
want to see 'em dancin'
Walkin' around on those." She looked at the group,

"Whad'ya call 'em?" The Skylanders pointed to their finned or clawed feet, "Oh - feet."

"Flippin' your fins you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumpin', dancin'
Strollin' along down a
(What's that word again?) street"

She began to swim up towards the top of the grotto,

"Up where they walk
Up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wanderin' free
Wish I could be
Part of that world!" 

The more she sang, the more that the group found out about her desire to be on land. It made them feel sympathetic to her,
 "What would I give
If I could live
Outta these waters?
What would I pay
To spend a day
Warm on the sand?
Betcha on land
They understand
Bet they don't reprimand their daughters
Bright young women
Sick o' swimmin'
Ready to stand!"

No doubt that the song was reaching the climax,
"And ready to know what the people know
Ask 'em my questions
And get some answers."

She turned to a painting of a lit candle,
'What's a fire and why does it
(What's the word?) burn?

When's it my turn?
Wouldn't I love..."

She reached her hand out of the top of the grotto,
 "Love to explore that shore above?
Out of the sea. She began to sink back to the bottom of the grotto,
"Wish I could be
Part of that world.

Gill Grunt said, "Wow, her dreams of the surface kinda makes me embarrassed to have legs."

Thumpback replied, "I've met a few mermaids in the past, even before the Phantom Tide. But she dreams of living on the land, it's what makes her unique in many ways."

Goofy was surprised, "Garsh, I never knew that she thought this way and we've known her for a while."

Donald sighed, "Of all the things we've seen, this is perhaps the saddest of them all."

Wham-Shell figured, "There must be some way to help her. She's willing to go behind her father's back to gather up such a huge collection and dream to be on land."

Zap sighed, "If only there was a way." As soon as the group voiced their concerns over Ariel's dream, a crashing sound occurred which caught everyone by surprise. Wham-Shell yelled, "What the heck!?"

Zap readied himself for the possibility of an intruder, "Who's there?" Until another crashing sound was heard and they saw, covered in most of the human stuff, pipe and all was the same crab from the castle. They said in surprise,

"Sebastian?!"

The crab was ultimately ticked out about all this. He spat out the pipe, got himself out of that stuff and asked,

"Ariel, what is all dis?!"

Ariel innocently replied, "It's just my collection." She pointed to the Skylanders along with Donald and Goofy, "And these are my friends."

Sebastian spoke, "Oh I see, your collection and I knew dat you made friends wit dese creatures." He started to get mad, "If your father finds out you have been collecting human relics, he would be.." He was interrupted by Flounder, "You're not going to tell him are you?"

Ariel pleaded, "Please Sebastian, you'll know he'll never understand."

Thumpback spoke, "You can't tell Triton about all of this, you know very well how he would react!"

Goofy spoke, "Knowing the king, he wouldn't understand her reason."

Zap told the crab, "This is important to Ariel!" Sebastian seeing that her friends defended her hobby, reluctantly agreed to not let Triton know and was going to lead them back to the castle until the grotto went dark. Ariel wondered,

"What do you suppose?"

Zap asked, "Is that a ship up above?"

In their curiosity, the seven swam up to the surface and spotted the ship, but not of Skylands origin. The ship itself was shooting fireworks into the night sky. Sebastian came up and wondered why they went up until he spotted the ship which made him jump,

"Jumpin' Jellyfish." 

Donald and Goofy were amazed by the ship and the fireworks as Gill Grunt spoke, "Whoa, now that was awesome."
Wham-Shell gave a thumbs up, "Nice display!
Zap was happy, "I'm enjoying this already!"
Thumpback kept a low-profile due to his size, "You gotta admit this is cool. Right, Ariel?"

Ariel didn't say anything and decided to get a closer look. She made her way towards the ship, so they followed her to a small window looking out onto the deck. The Skylanders along with Donald and Goofy managed to make it up there with the mermaid, but Thumpback couldn't get up there because his size would give them away. Thumpback whispered, "What's going on up there?"

Gill looked out over the edge and noticed several human sailors dancing around, playing music and having a good time. He whispered back, "It's a party."

Zap was excited, "Looks like fun." The water dragon was about to go on deck when Wham-Shell said, "Hold on there, Mr. Happy!"

He pulled the Water Dragon back by the tail and said, "We can't be seen because...you know, they haven't seen anything like us before."

Donald stated, "It would get ugly if we're seen." 

Goofy admitted, "I just wish things were different." The six continued to observe the party on deck. To Gill, this party brought him back to his days in the Gillman Marines. Whether it was a successful mission, birthday or engagement, the marines would celebrate with a party similar to this, the marines would always keep these parties as civil as the one they were witnessing. Their cover was nearly blown when a dog came up on deck and picked up on their scent. The dog sniffed the deck as he searched for the source. Upon seeing the dog heading for the gangway, the six hid by moving to the sides. Until the dog stuck his head at Ariel and licked her face almost like the canine took interest in the mermaid. It wasn't until they heard a man's voice,

"Max, here boy!" The dog, Max reacted and ran towards his master, a young man with dark hair, judging by his appearance, he seemed like a very important person with an adventurous attitude. When the six saw the man with his dog, they turned back to Ariel and noticed that the mermaid couldn't take her eyes off him. Gill recognized that behavior,

"Somebody's in love."

Goofy was confused, "Are you sure? She just saw him."

"My late girlfriend was a mermaid. I recognize a lover's look anywhere." The group soon heard a familiar seagull's voice,

"Hey there, Sweetie. Quite the show right!"

Ariel slapped Scuttle whispering, "Scuttle, be quiet or they'll hear you."

The seagull said, "Oh I gotcha, I gotcha." He joined them on the gangway while appearing Ariel's red hair, "We're waiting in trepidation, We're out to discover!"

Ariel grabbed Scuttle's beak as Wham-Shell angrily whispered, "Shut your beak, you loud-mouth bird."

Ariel said, "I've never seen a human this close before." She admired this human playing the flute, "He's very handsome isn't he."

Scuttle said pointing to the dog, "Well, he looks all hairy and slobbery to me."

Gill Grunt pointed out, "That's a dog, you screwy seagull."

Ariel corrected the seagull, "Not him, the one playing the Snarf-blatt."

The six knew that Ariel had a crush on the man with the flute. It was only a few minutes in when the entire party was halted when a grey haired man, from the way he was dressed, he was an advisor as announced a present to Prince Eric, the human that Ariel has a crush on. Eric said to his advisor,

"Ah, Grimsby, you old beanpole, you shouldn't have."

Grimsby stated, "I know..."as the men over at drape covering his present prepared to pull off the drapes, "Happy Birthday, Eric."

The men removed the drapes to reveal - a statue of Prince Eric with his fist across his chest wearing armor and royal robes. As for the real Eric, he looked unimpressed by this statue and apparently Max, the Skylanders, Donald and Goofy all share his sentiment as Gill Grunt face-palmed, "Are you kidding me?"

Donald asked, "Who would give him a statue of himself as a birthday present?"

Zap stated, "From what I saw, he wasn't full of himself and a statue of him would just be embarrassing."

Eric had to at least thank Grimsby for the statue, even though he was unimpressed. The advisor stated that he commissioned it himself, although he had hoped for the statue to be a wedding present. The group realized that they have been sailing to other kingdoms with hopes of the prince falling for the princess of those kingdoms. The advisor stated that it was not just him, but the whole kingdom was hoping to see Eric happily settled down with the right girl. The group was in the danger zone because Eric and Grimsby were near the hiding place. As they kept quiet, Eric sat on the wooden rail above them saying that the girl he's looking for is out there somewhere, he just hasn't found her yet. Ariel kept listening, entranced by his voice and still having that lover's glance. Grimsby suggested to the prince,

"Well perhaps you are not looking hard enough."

"Believe me, Grim, when I find the right girl I'll know. It will just...BAM, hit me. Like lightning!" Suddenly a thunderclap in the distance caught their attention as lightning appeared in the distance. Zap said,

"That wasn't me, I swear it."

The lookout on the ship shouted, "HURRICANE!!"  The deck was in full panic mode as the sailors returned to their positions on the wheel, and sails to ensure that the ship survives the storm. As for the six, they were holding on to the gangway as they sailed into the storm. Scuttle was blown from the ship due to the strong winds as the Skylanders noticed the panic on deck, the prince went to assist the helmsman in keeping the ship stable. Although the six tried to hang on, they were blown into the sea. But as they went back to the surface, the ship wasn't faring too well. As the crew tried to pull the ship through the storm, a lightning bolt struck one of the ship's sails and caught on fire. Eric and the crew knew that they had abandon ship. That was until one crew member yelled out,

"SHIP AHOY!"

The group of seven in the ocean spotted another ship of different origin, but to the Skylanders, the dragon markings and dragon prow were a clear indication that this was from Skylands. Zap spoke,

"I've seen that ship before." The Skylands ship pulled up next to the doomed ship while its crew used the grappling hooks to hold the two ships in place and dropped the plank as Spyro and Drobot walked out. The crew were shocked to see Dragons on the ship, but Spyro said,

"Listen to me, if you want to survive, get to our ship quickly!"

A crewman asked, "Why are we listening to a talking Dragon?"

Drobot continued, "Because these talking Dragons have the ship that could save your lives."

The crew although confused about the prospect of being rescued by a ship commandeered by dragons, accepted and went over to the Skylanders' ship. Grimsby was already aboard the rescue ship as Eric was going to make the transition only to realize that Max wasn't with him. He heard his dog barking and spotted him surrounded by flames. There was no way he was going to leave his friend behind, so Eric said to Drobot,

"Go without me, I need to get Max out of there." The Tech Dragon nodded as he used his eye lasers to disconnect the two ships by shooting the grappling hooks before pulling away the plank, causing the two ships to drift away from each other.

As the seven saw the second ship pull away, they hoped everyone got off in time. But they noticed the dog being thrown from the doomed ship and was caught by an insect swarm. The insects carried the dog to the Skylanders' ship as Swarm the Air Giant took form. They saw the dog place his front paws on the gangway as he barked as the advisor joined in gazing out at the ship in horror. The group knew that the dog was safe, but there was one problem - his master and best friend was still on the doomed ship. Just before a rescue effort could be made - BOOM! The ship erupted in a big explosion, Gill knew that it was triggered when the fires reached the gunpowder barrels which would most likely be stocked on that ship. The only thing that was tragic about this explosion was there was still one person still on it when the ship went up. The six didn't have time to guess when they saw Ariel swim towards the flaming wreckage.

They followed their friend to the burning ship wreck and found the one survivor from the explosion - Prince Eric. It made sense that it would be him since he wouldn't leave his loyal canine companion behind. He must've gotten stuck when he was carrying the dog out. As the prince sank beneath the waves, the group swam after him as Thumpback hurled his anchor chain at the sinking prince. The chain wrapped around the human as Thumpback signaled Ariel, Gill, Wham, Zap, Donald and Goofy to grab him and bring him back to the surface.

The next morning, The Water Skylanders washed up on shore as Ariel brought an unconscious Eric ashore. The six passed out some time after washing up on the shore, but their morning nap was cut short when the feeling of water hitting his fins woke Gill Grunt up. Zap woke up because his electric pack worked as an alarm clock, Wham-Shell woke up when he saw the sun while Thumpback has always been up. Donald and Goofy were washed up as well, while the duck/squid washed up on a rock, Goofy was hiding in his turtle after washing up on the beach. The dog/turtle peaked his head out of the shell,

"Did anyone get the number on that Black Mushroom that hit us?"

Zap shook off this sand, "I'd rather go toe-to-toe with a Minotaur than do that again."

Donald was dazed, "Don't worry, your majesty. I have just the spell...to..." He collapsed on the rock.

Scuttle landed near them as the Water Skylanders stood over Ariel and the prince as the mermaid asked, "Is he...dead?"

The seagull spoke, "Here, I'll check." Scuttle landed near Eric to check for a heartbeat - by placing his head against the prince's bare foot as he sighed, "Oh, I can't feel a heartbeat."

Gill, although annoyed by the kooky seagull spoke, "I've seen this sort of thing back in the Marine Corps. It will take a few minutes for him to regain consciousness, but he'll live.

Zap replied, "Even though the presence of the other Skylanders is surprising, we can't reveal ourselves just yet."

Goofy noticed, "So those were your friends? I'd like to meet them sometime."

Donald, after shaking off his little dazed state said, "Yeah, but I can't believe that we managed to save a life."

Wham-Shell said, "We should be happy that Ariel is with the prince, but the catch is trying to help her be with him on land."

Thumpback was a bit skeptical about their situation, "But I know King Triton won't like this when he finds out and that if he does, we're going to be in for a huge fish storm. It mostly depends on Sebastian if he decides to blow the whistle of this adventure."

Their conversation was halted when heard Ariel sing again,
"What would I give to live where you are? 
What would I pay to stay here beside you? 
What would I do to see you smiling at me?"

"Where would we walk? 
Where would we run? 
If we could stay all day in the sun?" As she sang, the six could see the prince stirring, signifying that he's waking up.

"Just you and me, and I could be
part of your world." 
As Eric opened his eyes, he saw a beautiful girl obscuring the sunlight who sang with the most beautiful voice he's ever heard. She was accompanied by a Gillman, a Water Dragon, a Shell creature, a Whale-like behemoth, a turtle and a squid. Until they heard Max barking as the dog was heading their way, the girl retreated as did her friends whilst saying,

"Retreat, retreat!"

As Max got to Eric, seven splashes were seen in the water. Grimsby came when Max arrived and helped Eric up. Grimsby asked what happened to him, but Eric replied,

"A girl, rescued me. She was singing. She had the most beautiful voice."

Grimsby replied, "I think you've swallowed a bit too much seawater. But your crew owes those Skylanders their lives for getting them off the ship. Although, they are very peculiar, I haven't seen them before until now." As he helped the young prince to his feet and led him back to his castle, the two men didn't know that Ariel and the Water Skylanders were close by, but they were undetected. As the mermaid watched the two men from a nearby rock, she began to sing again as Zap asked anyone,

"Is it kind of odd that people break into song on a regular basis?" The other five just shrugged as Ariel sang,

"I don't know when, I don't know how,
But I think something's starting right now!
Watch and you'll see,
Someday I'll be,
Part of your World!"

A huge wave splashed against the rock as she finished singing. To Ariel, this is a who new beginning, a feeling that she never felt before. To the Skylanders and their two friends, it's a brand new endeavor, one that's going to be difficult to pull off, but they will help their friend to the very end.

Unbeknownst to any of them, they were being watched from the lair of a sea witch, who saw this as way too easy. She saw how Ariel was in love with a human prince although, seeing the Skylanders brought something up as well,

"Those creatures would make things a bit difficult, their desire of helping Daddy's Little Girl would be their downfall." She chuckled, "And besides, Triton's lovesick daughter and her little friends would make nice additions to my garden." 
The sea witch gestured to her grove of wilted weed-like plants that would practically scare the heck out of everyone and would be a reminder of her power.

While Ariel was home, the six were hanging out near the cave to her grotto as they talked to one another, getting to know each other. Donald asked,

"So all of you are a group of warriors from another world that came here via portal on accident?"

Zap shrugged, "Yep, that's the gist of it."

Goofy asked, "And it was because of a crystal that merged with the portal that sent you here?"

"It was Gill that found it at the bottom of Leviathan Bay. We didn't even know its history until it sent us here."

Donald was curious, "Now that is strange that it sent you to this world." 

Wham Shell mentioned, "The crystal itself was shaped like a trident and I believe that there could be more connections with this world than we can imagine." 

Gill asked, "You think they are connected?" Wham Shell explained, "Ever since the concert, I couldn't help but feel curious about Triton's trident since it possessed the same shape as that crystal." He paused for a moment and stated, "But here's the kicker, in the throne during Ariel and Triton's argument, there was a crest near the throne and when I saw the details of it - it looked exactly like the crystal that brought us to this world."

All five of them shouted, "WHAT!?!?"

"Maybe that's why other Skylanders are here as well."

Goofy knew for sure, "Yeah, that ship isn't something you see everyday. Not to mention the many creatures occupying the ship."

Zap whistled, "The world works in strange ways. But while we're here, we should find information about the crystal and why did it bring us here." After Donald and Goofy understood how important that the Skylanders are and the four continuing their investigation into the crystal trident that brought them here, it was best to tell them who they are and why they are in this world as well. After the duck and dog explained to the Skylanders of their role and importance, Wham Shell stated,

"So you two serve and are great friends with the king in your world." He pointed to Goofy, "You are his Captain of the Guard while Donald is the King's Court Wizard?"

Goofy nodded, "Eyup, that's pretty much our jobs that King Mickey entrusted to us."

Donald sighed, "That palooka is suitable for defense while I have a variety of magic attacks, even healing magic."

Thumpback asked, "So why are you guys here anyway?"

Goofy pointed out, "We're on vacation. King Mickey had given us leave to take a vacation, so we came to Atlantica to visit Ariel!"

"That explains why you two are good friends with her. How often do you guys visit?"

"Twice every month, we were actually here for her sixteenth birthday!"

"Your King must've known that you guys love visiting Atlantica."

Donald spoke, "The King and Queen do what they can to ensure that we get leave. We also share of our adventures to them as well."

Zap asked, "You're next story would be about meeting us, right?"

"Yeah, but it's best not to let my troublesome nephews know about it. They tend to get into some serious mischief."

"Well it's best to keep this to yourselves and a few close people."

Goofy chuckled, "Garsh, the Skylanders are going to be quite the story to tell my son about. Mostly about how you four are of all shapes and sizes, how you guys heroically helped Ariel save the Prince's life..." 

"Even the others showing up to save his crew before the ship went up and I would never forget seeing Swarm save the dog."

Gill laughed, "We were so close to the human, but Ariel was a lot closer."

Wham-Shell finished, "He owes Ariel his life, I bet the prince's field of vision was kind of blurry as he was waking up and if it was the case, he barely saw us when we ran with the exception of a brief glimpse Ariel's lovely face and the sound of her voice as she sang." He changed the subject, "Now we need to find out how to help Ariel out with trying to live on land."

On the ESS Ignitus, Spyro noticed Camo in a love-struck trance. He went up to the Plant Dragon, "Camo, are you feeling alright?"

Camo snapped out of it, "Uh..no...no, I feel fine, just...fine."

Spyro replied, "You're stuttering."

Camo tried to find another way around Spyro's persuasive tongue but decided to admit it, "Isn't it that obvious, Spyro?" He looked around, hoping no one was listening in and whispered, "I have a crush on Fluttershy."

Spyro spoke, "Seriously?"

Camo sighed, "I'm serious. Ever since we first met on the night of the Arrival, I spotted her looking over the crater, following my tracks and getting hit by one of my exploding melons. I couldn't help but feel bad when I saw her cry like that. She was even more scared when I made myself known due to her fear of dragons."

Spyro stated, "Camo, ever since we arrived in Equestria, we have proved to the ponies that even though we are dragons, we're not going to hurt any innocents. Remember when Fluttershy invited you to her cottage to help feed her animals?"

The Plant Dragon remembered that day; When the shy pegasus mare asked for his help with her animals, his growth ability was very beneficial and supplied Fluttershy with a month's worth of food for her animals. Then they had lunch together afterwards and she complimented him on how careful he was to her critters, even her pet bunny despite the little guy's animosity towards the dragon. It was there that she allowed Camo to construct his own garden to grow more fruits and vegetables for her animals. He could never forget what she said to him after he completed his garden,

"You made this possible, Camo. No dragon could have done what you've done... I should be a lucky mare to have you around."

Camo sighed, "Those very words that she said to me really do mean something."

Spyro stated, "As far as I know and thanks to Cynder's female intuition, Fluttershy wants to be more than friends with you." 

Before Camo could ask about it, their conversation was cut short by Flashwing shouting from the helm, "Captain, how are we supposed to bring the four Water Skylanders up here?"

Spyro replied, "I bet you and Bash could send them a message. I'm suggesting that a rock would suffice and Slam Bam has already located them. They are directly below us!" The Gem-Dragon saluted,

"Aye, aye Captain!"

Back under the sea, the group of friends were laughing about an incident that happened Goofy a while back involving him and a bunch of rockets. Goofy added,

"It gets better! When I was flung from the rocket car and landed in a fireworks factory, one of the flames on my ears lit up the place, sending me flying through the skies and back to my bed. Garsh, I couldn't sit right for weeks after that!" The dog laughed as the others joined in about his hilarious adventures as Donald decided to tell about his misadventure,

"Well, two months ago, I was working at a club called 'Ink and Paint' I was to put on a piano performance with a partner. Only to find out that my partner was a big kook!" Zap looked around, "I'm sensing a flashback..." 

 It was a dark night in a world known as Hollywood, a world where toons exist along with real live humans. The toons usually live in an area called Toon Town, that's only if they're on a day off or they retired from their acting career. At the Ink and Paint Club, Donald and his partner/annoyance were playing Hungarian Rhapsody with their pianos, his partner was like Donald, he was a duck, but he was more of a black mallard with a crazy personality. This duck, Daffy was intentionally playing the wrong notes, irritating Donald as he yelled,

"Hey, Hey! Cut it out!" 

Daffy asked, "Does anyone understand this duck is saying?" There was no response from the audience, but they were enjoying the show as Donald grew irritated with Daffy.

"I've worked with a lot of Wise-Quackers! But YOU are Dessspicalble!"

"Dog Gone Stubborn Little...That did it! AHAHAHAHAHA!"

"This is the last time I work with someone with a sppeech impediment!"

That did it as Donald yelled, "OH YEAH!" He grabbed Daffy and tossed him into his piano, slamming the top shut until only the black duck's beak was shown sticking out. 

"This means War!"

After that it was nothing but back and forth, duck vs duck, Donald vs Daffy, two equally crazy ducks having their little war of the pianos and giving the crowd a ton of laughs as the ducks were having this war. At some point, Donald would be knocked into the opposite piano while Daffy played his part until Donald decided to strike back. When he appeared, the looney duck zipped back into the black piano while Donald used his tail feather as a second pair of hands on the white piano while playing on the black one. He stated,

"This is hot stuff!" Donald transitioned to using his webbed feet on the white piano as he enjoyed doing his part until Daffy popped out the black piano with a red punching glove and socked the duck in the face, sending him flying into the white piano as Daffy took over. The duck played the ending of the tune as he hit the keys on the piano. But as Daffy played, there was movement coming the white piano as the lid of the piano opened to reveal a cannon pointing directly at Daffy and right next to the cannon was Donald, sporting a malicious grin and a pair of Devil Horns as the duck chuckled. The cannon brought up a bit of shock with the audience as Daffy finished his piece. As soon as the song finished, Donald had his ears plugged and the cannon fired. It missed Daffy and punched a hole through his piano as the kick from the cannon knocked over Donald's piano. The crazy duck still stuck his head out of the hole in his piano and let out a few 'wahoo' sounds before two canes came out and yanked both pianos away as the curtain came down to a thunderous applause.  The group were laughing at the amount of craziness that Donald went through with Daffy as Goofy added, "And to make this even more hilarious, Daffy's co-star, Bugs Bunny is actually a friend of Mickeys and whenever Bugs visits, that looney duck would always be around!" 
Gill Grunt was laughing so hard to imagine what would go on with those two ducks as he said, "Those two are so funny, they would never get to finish the act!" But soon enough, he was hit in the head by some sort of rock. He picked it up and noticed that there was a message carved into it. He read, "Guys, we need to talk to you. The Ignitus is right above you."

Thumpback spoke, "Then let's go up and talk to them."

The Water Skylanders breached the surface and came right next to the ESS Ignitus. Their friends were on the deck when they climbed up. It was a sort of a friendly reunion, Whirlwind hugged Zap saying that she missed him, Wham-Shell High-fived Terrafin, although he was in a wheel barrow because of the Tree Rex High-5, Thumpback group-hugged his fellow Giants, and Gill Grunt was reunited with the Aloe and Lotus, who have became lightcore Skylanders. Gill was amazed,

"It looks like Celestia found you two worthy of the title because of all the things you do when you two are united."

Aloe spoke, "I handle the water attacks." Lotus finished, "And I handle the Lotus Mines."

They both spoke, "That fits in with 'Wash and Boom!"

The Reunion has ended so they could get some answers from their Illustrious Water Skylanders, Spyro asked, "What happened to you guys?

Gill Grunt went first, "We were trying to get to Skylands, but an accident on the Portal sent us here. But we made a new friend while we're here."

Wham-Shell continued, "Her name is Ariel, she's a mermaid who is fascinated by the surface. But her father, King Triton believes that the inhabitants of the surface, the Humans are a danger to them. I find that hard to believe since Master Eon was a human."

Zap continued, "When we saved a human from drowning, we brought him to shore and waited until he woke up. We believed that Ariel has a little crush on the human."

Thumpback finished, "That's when we decided to find a way to make Ariel go on land, so she could find the prince. We are not going home until we get those two together."

Ignitor decided, "I'll pass that information to our Portal Masters." He looked up, "Pull me out!" Ignitor disappeared in a flash of light.

Spyro spoke, "Then it's settled. But Eye Brawl will have to keep his eye on you four if you go unto shore."

Gill Grunt replied, "It's nice talking to you but we have to go."

Spyro yelled, "Come up for air sometime!"

When the Water Skylanders reached Ariel's grotto, they bumped into Flounder, who was already leaving the cave. Gill asked,

"Flounder, what were doing in the grotto?"

Flounder replied, "I saw something in there and that something could make Ariel very happy after what happened."

The six peaked into the cave as their eyes widened at what they saw. Donald's lower beak was open as he said, "Whoa!" 

Goofy look shocked and spoke, "Garsh!"

The Skylanders were amazed by the object that Flounder found as Gill said,

"We gotta find Ariel and show her this!"

The Skylanders followed Flounder throughout the sea and found Ariel sitting in the middle of a musical about life under the sea, composed and sung by Sebastian. Zap went with the kid fish to reach the mermaid, the whole area was a whole concert as sea creatures were dancing around to the tune 'Under The Sea' as the fish and water dragon attempted to weave through the dancing sea creatures. Although they were caught up when one of the dancers used them in a net rubbing until they slipped out of it and swam up to her and signaled her to follow them back.

Sebastian was in a groove as well as the other sea creatures in his performance, completely oblivious to the fact that his target audience had left as he sang with the chorus following,
"Yeah, under the sea (Under the sea)
Under the sea (Under the sea)"

He followed a school of sardine,
"When the sardine
Begin the beguine
It's music to me (It's music to me)"

The crab dove under the sand before surfacing,
"What do they got? A lot of sand
We got a hot crustacean band" As the pointed out the band playing before pointing out certain animals,

"Each little clam here
Know how to jam here
Under the sea"
(slight pause with music)
"Each little slug here
Cuttin' a rug here
Under the sea"
(Another pause)
"Each little snail here
Know how to wail here
That's why it's hotter
Under the water
Ya we in luck here
Down in the muck here
Under the sea!!" 

When he finished his song with all the sea creatures pointing at the rock where Ariel was supposed to be sitting, it was only now that he noticed that she was gone. Every sea creature, saddened to see their target audience was absent, they left Sebastian as he sighed,

"Someone has got to nail that girl's fins to the floor." The bright and cheerful demeanor of the sea soon turned dark and depressing as signified Sebastian failing to convince her through song. His moping was interrupted when he heard a new voice call out, "Sebastian!"

The crab turned around and saw the small seahorse from the concert acting as a messenger. "Sebastian, I have been looking all over for you, I have an urgent message from the Sea-King."

Sebastian cautiously asked, "The Sea-King?" The seahorse continued, "He wants to speak to you right away, something about Ariel."

The crab gasped at the fact that the king wants to speak to him about Ariel and only came to one conclusion, "HE KNOWS."

King Triton was sitting on his throne looking at the flower that his youngest daughter gave him earlier this morning. At first, Triton was confused about her odd behavior, the other six daughters understood the trance that their little sister is displaying. When he expressed his confusion about what his daughters were saying, one of them pointed out the obvious conclusion - Ariel is in love. Now here he is, chuckling at the same flower that she gave him, wondering who is Ariel's Secret Admirer. He sent out a message to Sebastian to meet with him to ask about the young merman who won the heart of his youngest daughter. As he waited for Sebastian to arrive, the king gazed at the flower and asked himself, "Now who could the lucky Merman be? Or one of Ariel's friends might be the lucky one." The Sea-King noticed his advisor enter the room, "Come in, Sebastian."

Sebastian silently talked to himself about breaking his promise to the Skylanders and won't having to face the wrath of Gill's Harpoon gun, Wham-Shell's Mace, Zap's electricity, and Thumpback's Anchor. King Triton talked to his advisor about many things, although as he politely pressed him for information, it almost felt like an interrogation as the crab tried not to break under the pressure. But one part made Sebastian lose his edge when the King asked,

"Do you know anything about Ariel...in love?"

The Crab couldn't take the pressure due to Triton pressing him for answers on Ariel's secret admirer and shouted, "I tried to stop her, sir! She wouldn't listen, I told her to stay away from humans, but her friends have a close relation to them! "

King Triton was surprised by this, "Humans?" But when Sebastian was talking about Ariel and her friends in contact with humans, he sat up and yelled,

"WHAT ABOUT HUMANS!?"

Sebastian stared frighteningly at the King, realizing that he blew their cover, "Humans?"

He laughed as he backed away trying to make his outburst about humans look like a joke, "Who said anyting about humans?" Although his attempt to make the situation sound like a joke was in vain when the angry, suspicious sea king grabbed the crab and pulled him back to get answers from him.

Ariel, Flounder and he Skylanders returned to her secret cave, and Ariel saw the statue of Prince Eric sitting in the middle of the cave. She turned to her friends and hugged them,

"You guys are the best."

She turned to the statue, "It looks just like him and even has his eyes!"

She began talking to it, "Why Eric, run away with you?" She began to flirt with the statue and laughed around until Gill Grunt spotted something in the shadows. He pulled out his Harpoon gun,

"We've got an intruder!" Ariel turned to Gill and was shocked to see who it was in the shadows, "Daddy!"

The Skylanders saw King Triton in the cave along with Sebastian, who they knew ratted them out. Goofy and Donald, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire should things go south, hid with Flounder. The Skylanders realized that their cover was blown and stood in defense in case a fight were to break out. There was no doubt that this wasn't going to be a friendly conversation since Ariel had went up to the surface against her father's wishes and made contact with a human.

The Sea-King calmly stated although with a hint of anger, "I consider myself a reasonable merman." He emerged from the shadows, "I've set certain rules and expect those rules to be obeyed."

Gill, who still had his harpoon gun trained on the king stated, "Well those rules have flaws and you know it." The king shot a glance at the marine before confronting his daughter, "Is it true you and your friends rescued a human from drowning?!"

Ariel defended her choice, "Daddy, we had to!" Triton stated, "Contact between the human world and the mer world is forbidden! Ariel, you know that! Everyone knows that!"

Zap declared, "Not us and since we've had contact with humans before, your rule doesn't apply to us!"

Triton understood this as he turned to the Skylanders, "I understand that you four are from another world. But you can't swim around my ocean and do whatever you want!"

Ariel shot back, "He could've died!"

Triton shrugged his daughter's concern by saying, "One less human to worry about!" 

Wham Shell was shocked by this, "That's cruel, Triton! Just cruel!"

Ariel yelled out, "You don't know him!" 

Triton scoffed, "Know him? I don't have to know him! They're all the same: Spineless, savage, harpooning fish-eaters, incapable of any feeling!" 

Gill stated, "That's kind of weird for me, considering that I'm a fish holding a harpoon gun and those things about humans being savages sounds pretty racist." Ariel couldn't stand hearing her father say these things about humans. It was because of her father's words which made the mermaid lose it and shout,

"DADDY, I LOVE HIM!" Ariel gasped, realizing what she had just said in front of her father. This also brought a shock to Sebastian as the Skylanders voiced their shock with an, "Oh Carp!" 

The Skylanders were now in battle formation because like it or not, the Sea-King's temper and shock of hearing this would no doubt warrant a fight. Gill, in fact knew that when it comes to enemies with a temper, a fight would be to subdue the enemy. Gill saw how the king's shock and anger upon hearing his daughter confess that she was in love with a human. The marine and the others knew that it was fight as Gill Grunt flipped the safety of the harpoon gun to off - it was going to be a fight.

"Have you lost your senses completely!? HE'S A HUMAN, YOU'RE A MERMAID!"

She leaned on the statue, "I don't care!"

Triton was beyond angry as he yelled, "So help me, Ariel, I'm going to get through to you!" Gill's prophecy came true as the king's trident powered up, "And if this is the only way, SO BE IT!" A single shot from the trident destroyed a large portion of Ariel's collection as she shouted,

"DADDY!?!" 

Gill shouted, "SKYLANDERS, SUBDUE HIM!" The marine fired a shot at the king, the harpoon hit the trident, catching his attention as Triton attempted to retaliate, but Gill's power attack, the Anchor had him in his sight, "You're going to have a bad day, your majesty. Anchors away!"

He fired his Anchor at the Sea-King which slammed into his chest, knocking the merman towards the wall of the grotto. Gill dodged a blast from his trident. Zap used his electric abilities to get the King's attention, Zap deflected a blast from the trident and directed it back at the king. The Sea King was hit in the chest as Zap yelled,

"Ride the Lightning!"

Wham-Shell challenged King Triton, the old fashion way with a duel.

Wham-Shell and King Triton collided their weapons with an amazing force. Two Kings battling it out in a cramped cave filled with Human stuff. King Triton said as he collided his trident with Wham-Shell's mace,

"I should have been more vigilant ever since you four arrived!"

Wham-Shell broke the collision and struck the pommel of his mace at Triton's head, "And we should have known that you wouldn't take my advice on being so hard on your own flesh and blood! Time to Brace for the Mace!" Wham-Shell swung his mace which knocked Triton to a wall. But before he could subdue him, a ton of human relics fell on top of him due to the Sea-King's impact on the wall. Upon seeing Wham Shell buried and the king back in the fight, Thumpback decided to go in,

"You hurt my friend, You Hail to the Whale!"

King Triton yelled back, "This isn't your fight!"

Thumpback did what he should've done long ago, he drops anchor on the Sea-King. He wrapped the chain around the king, disarmed him of the trident as the anchor sank the sea-king to the grotto floor. The giant angrily said, "You are under arrest, Your Majesty!"

Triton struggled and asked, "Why? Why are you doing this!?"

Gill swam up to the subdued king, "If you think destroying her collection would let you get through to her, you're wrong. You see, it's not only our duty as Skylanders to protect others, we're also Ariel's friends and we support her choice."

Zap swam up, "Although, placing kings under arrest isn't our forte, you need to calm down. We told you about not being so hard on her, but you didn't listen." The giant, dragon and marine left the king anchored to the floor as the dragon stated, "So why don't you stay there for a while until you calm down."

The three Skylanders looked around the now-ruined grotto as Gill apologized,

"Sorry about you collection."

Ariel replied, "You four did no harm to the statue, so its okay."

Gill Grunt pointed to the Crustacean buried in human stuff, "We should get Wham-Shell out of there."

But what they didn't know is that when they were finished helping Wham-Shell, King Triton got free of Thumpback's anchor chain. He grabbed his trident and pointed it at the statue. Ariel noticed and yelled,

"Daddy, No!" Their attempt to stop him was in vain as the trident fired directly at the statue - only to deflect the shot upwards and standing between the king and the statue was Goofy who had emerged from his hiding spot to block the shot. Triton fired again, only for Goofy to deflect the shots with his shield. 

"Okay, you may have that little fork, but now I sacrifice my Goofy to summon my Dark Magician!" Spoke a strange human wearing a red suit, red mask, was outfitted as a mercenary while wearing a duel disk with five cards in his hand and all in all, a total bad-
 (*record scratch* "Wade! What are doing in my room? Why are you on my tablet?" I asked while walking into my room seeing the nutcase with my tablet 

Wade turned to me, "Well, while you were watching Aquaman, I decided to have a little fun with editing this story with a little Deadpool and Yu-Gi-Oh action in this scene."

I groaned, "Wade, when I said I was going to edit previous projects, I didn't say anything about doing anything Deadpool-related and besides I still need to remember the scenes from 'The Little Mermaid', I can't have it stray apart now."

Wade stated, "Then watch the clips or the actual movie!" I went up to him and snatched the tablet from him, "Give me that." I looked at the tablet and sighed, "And right in the process of Triton destroying the statue and here we go. Their efforts were in vain as Triton fired at the statue...")
It was too late to stop him as the king destroyed the statue of Prince Eric. The Skylanders felt that they failed to protect the very thing their friend loved. This defeat struck further when Ariel placed her head down on where the statue once stood and cried. They shot King Triton an angry stare as the king realized the repercussions of his actions and left the grotto, both saddened over what he had done. Sebastian asked as he and Flounder approached the weeping mermaid, "Ariel?"

She silently said, "Just go away."

The Water Skylanders saw her friends leave and Gill decided,

"I think we should leave her alone for a while."

Zap said, "I agree."

The team of six soon vacated the area, but Zap stopped when he heard a voice that sounded like one, but spoke as two. He looked back at the grotto to find two eels surrounding the weeping mermaid, "Poor child. Poor, sweet child. She has a very serious problem. If only there was something we could do. But there is something."

Zap's mind could easily think that those eels were up to no good, but from the way they spoke about Ariel having a serious problem, he immediately thought about her and the prince. If there was anyway for her to be with the prince, these eels know the answer. The dragon motioned the other five to join him as they eavesdropped on the conversation as Ariel asked the eels,

"Who are you?"

The eels replied in a calm fashion, "Don't be scared. We represent someone who can help you. Someone who can make all your dreams come true. Just imagine you and your prince together forever."

Gill whispered,  "Someone who can help her be with the prince?"
Zap nodded,  "These two seem to represent the only chance she has."
Wham-Shell asked,  "Isn't it strange that these two just show up after Ariel loses her collection and the statue?"
Goofy nodded,  "It does seem too convenient for these two to just wait for the battle to be over."

After their whispered conversation, they noticed Ariel ask the eels, "I don't understand."

One of the eels stated, "Ursula as great powers."

Ariel and her whispering eavesdropping friends realized, "The sea witch?" While her friends were shocked, Ariel stated, "Why that's... I couldn't possibly..." She decided, "No! Get out of here! Leave me alone!" As she placed her head back down on the rock, her friends face-palmed at the thought of her denying her one chance. Apparently the eels were not happy with the result as the first eel sighed, "Suit yourself."

As the eels swam away, "That was only a suggestion." One of the eels slapped the remains of the statue, the face. Ariel saw it, she picked it up and looked back at her friends who she realized had listened in on her conversation. She saw them nod in agreement to change her mind about their request. She called out to the eels, "Wait"

The eels turned around, "Yes?"

Outside the cave, Flounder and Sebastian were talking about what went down in there in the fight between the Sea-King and the Skylanders. Sebastian was also in grief over the fact that the king resorted to destroying Ariel's collection of human artifacts. Until they saw Ariel and the Skylanders travelling with the Twin Eels, The crab swam up to the group and asked,

"Ariel, What are you and your friends doing with these two?"

Ariel replied, "We're going to see Ursula."

Sebastian yelled, "No, no, She's a demon, she's a monster!"

Gill pointed his Harpoon gun at the crab, "Why don't you go tell Ariel's father? You're good at that rather than keeping a promise." They swam away leaving Sebastian and Flounder. The crab didn't want to go back and warn the king, he decided to check it out. He looked at Flounder,

"Come on!"

Ariel and the Skylanders followed the eels to a very creepy part of the sea filled with underwater heat vents and more sights that are terrifying for them. When they saw that the eels were leading them to a mysterious skeleton hut, they followed after them and into the entryway through the jaws of a once great sea beast. What the group found in the entryway was rows upon rows of creepy plant-like creatures that looked like as though they were in pain and were trying to tell them something while one of them grabbed Ariel's wrist until she pulled away. This place was giving Donald the creeps as he said, "I've got a bad feeling about this." 

Until they heard a voice speak, "Come in, come in, my child. We mustn't lurk in doorways."  They found the center chamber of the hut as the sea-witch herself who is an Octopid, appeared from the door in the back of the room, "It's rude."

She moved over to a nearby vanity as she guessed why they were here - in any case, why Ariel came here. To get the attention of the prince. So Ursula told her the only way to do it,

"The only way to get what you want is to become a human yourself"

Ariel was curious about this sea-witch and her powers before asking, "Can you do that?" Gill spoke, "I've seen shape-shifting at most times, but it could be possible. But could you help her?" 

She turned to the marine as he felt a urge to just pull out his harpoon gun and shoot her, but this is for Ariel,"My dear, sweet gillman, that's what I do. It's what I live for! To help unfortunate merfolk like your friend. Poor souls with no one else to turn to." Soon enough, music started playing out of nowhere which they fought the urge to check if Pinkie Pie was around with a radio again as the sea-witch began to explain her occupation through song,

"I admit that in the past I've been a nasty
They weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch
But you'll find that nowadays
I've mended all my ways
Repented, seen the light, and made a switch
To this..." She went over to a nearby cauldron or what looks like one as she sang again, 

"And I fortunately know a little magic
It's a talent that I always have possessed..." The cauldron opened as it began to show a projection,
"And dear guests, please don't laugh
I use it on behalf
Of the miserable, the lonely, and depressed." She conjured up an image of thin, lanky merman and a bloated, depressed mermaid as she turned to her eels, "Pathetic."

"Poor unfortunate souls
In pain, in need
This one longing to be thinner." She gestured to the bloated mermaid,
"That one wants to get the girl." She gestured to the lanky merman,
"And do I help them?
Yes, indeed." With a snap of her fingers, the two projection soon changed from depressed to strong and fit as the merman and mermaid embraced. The Skylanders thought that this would be a piece of cake as the sea-witch continued to sing,

"Those poor unfortunate souls
So sad, so true
They come flocking to my cauldron
Crying, "Spells, Ursula, please!"
And I help them
Yes I do." Although now it looks like she was going through a fine print of her assistance and judging by the frightened projections; it was bad,

"Now it's happened once or twice
Someone couldn't pay the price
And I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals." She soon used her magic to turn the couple into those plant-like creatures that they saw in the doorway.

"Yes I've had the odd complaint
But on the whole I've been a saint
To those poor unfortunate souls!" Her shadow brought the other plant creatures or polyps to be frightened of her. Even the Team of Six were a bit cautious and freaked out when she did this as Gill Grunt pointed,

"Did you just see that? She just...She just..." Gill fainted, but was easily woken up by Zap's electricity ability. Ursula made her a deal, 
"Now here's the deal, I can make you a potion to turn you human for three days. Three Days." She brought her to the cauldron and shown a projection of her deal, "Before the sun sets on the third day, you have to make dear old princey to fall in love with you." The holograms shown three suns, three days, a crown representing the prince and a heart representing love, "That means, he has to kiss you, not just a kiss. The Kiss of True Love, if he kisses you before the Sun sets on the third day, you will be human permanently." The image shown a human girl, representing Ariel running, "But if he doesn't..." The human turned into a mermaid, "you turn back into a Mermaid again and..." The mermaid image slipped back into the cauldron, "You belong to me."

What the group didn't know is that Sebastian and Flounder followed them to Ursula's lair, he tried to holler to get their attention, but the eels sealed their mouths so they would not hear them as their boss offered her hand to the mermaid,

"Have we got a deal?"

Ariel was nervous about this, "If I become human, I'll never be with my father or sisters again."

Zap spoke, "But you'll have the prince. That's the very reason why we came here, right?"

Gill added, "I noticed a look of guilt in your father before he left the grotto. Hopefully he'll understand.

Wham-Shell offered, "We'll be with you every step of the way until we see you and the prince together. Isn't it right, Thumpback."

The whale stated, "That's right."

Goofy stepped in, "You know us, Ariel. We won't let you be miserable."

Donald stated, "It's why we always visit you and go on those adventures."

Ursula sported a brief evil smile as the Skylanders spoke in support of Ariel, encouraging her to take the deal as she said, "Life's full of tough choices, isn't it?" She ended with a chuckle as Ariel looked a bit nervous until the sea-witch mentioned something,

"Oh, and there is one more thing. We haven't discussed the subject of payment."

Ariel was surprised by her asking for payment, "But I don't have-" She interrupted her as she turned to her, "I'm not asking much, just a token really, a trifle. What I want from you is - Your Voice

Ariel asked while placing her hand on her throat, "My voice?"

Ursula replied, "Yes, no more talking, singing, Zip."

Zap asked, "But without Ariel's Voice, then how would she..."

She ignored the dragon as she stated to the mermaid, "You'll have your looks, your pretty face." She turned away as she said, "And don't underestimate the importance of body language, ha!" She went up to a nearby cabinet as she sang again, 

"The men up there don't like a lot of blabber
They think a girl who gossips is a bore
Yet on land it's much preferred for ladies not to say a word
And after all dear, what is idle babble for?"

She began throwing vials and jars of alchemical ingredients towards the cauldron, 
 "Come on, they're not all that impressed with conversation
True gentlemen avoid it when they can." The jars soon fell into the cauldron as they blew upon impact.

 "But they dote and swoon and fawn
On a lady who's withdrawn
It's she who holds her tongue who gets a man." She literally threw a tongue into the cauldron as it erupted in a orange explosion, shocking Ariel and the Team of Six.

 "Come on you poor unfortunate soul
Go ahead
Make your choice
I'm a very busy woman and I haven't got all day." Ursula conjured up the image of the prince as Ariel looked at it with her love-struck stare,
"It won't cost much
Just your voice!" And the prince's image shattered as Ursula poked her head through it.

 "You poor unfortunate soul
It's sad but true
If you want to cross the bridge, my sweet
You've got the pay the toll." A yellow scroll appeared that showed a binding contract as a pen appeared near her. Although, she was conflicted about it, the Team of Six were with her, no matter what.

"Take a gulp and take a breath
And go ahead and sign the scroll."

She whispered to her eels, "Flotsam, Jetsam, now I've got her, boys!"

 "The boss is on a roll!" Now with determination, Ariel grabbed the pen,
 "This Poor..." and signed her name on the contract, "Unfortunate Soul!" As soon as she was done, the contract flew into the sea-witch's hand and disappeared while she sported a smile. She began to work her magic,

 "Beluga sevruga
Come winds of the Caspian Sea." The cauldron soon erupted as it felt like a huge maelstrom was taking place underwater, 
 "Larengix glaucitis
Et max laryngitis
La voce to me!" It was at this moment that two ethereal green claw-like hands appeared from her magic as the witch stated.

"Now, sing."

Ariel began to sing the opening tune of 'Part of Your World' only the tune as Ursula yelled,

"Keep singing!"

About a foot away, the Team of Six saw as Ursula moved those magical hands down Ariel's throat and pull out a ball of light, singing the same music. They knew that the light ball was Ariel's voice as it was soon sucked into the Sea-Witch's shell necklace as the witch grinned.

The Skylanders saw as their friend was consumed by Ursula's magic. The power of the sea-witch's magic caused her tail to split in two and obtain human legs. As soon as the spell was complete, she wasn't a Mermaid anymore and because she wasn't a mermaid, she lost her ability to breathe underwater. The Team of Six quickly swam towards her with the help of Sebastian and Flounder and got her up to the surface, so she could breathe. Whirlwind was in the air when she saw them break the surface. Zap called out,

"Whirlwind, you need to tell Spyro that we managed to have Ariel turn into a human, but we have another problem."

Whirlwind replied, "I'll do that, Zap!"

The Skylanders brought Ariel near Prince Eric's castle, they were exhausted from all that swimming. When mid-day came, Ariel regained consciousness, Wham-Shell even proclaimed, "She may have turned Ariel human, but that Sea-Witch is now numeral uno on our hit-list." The others couldn't agree more on that sea-witch's status.

 On the other side of the beach, Hot Dog was sniffing about the shore, although being a Fire Skylander, he couldn't get close to the water. Ever since the storm, the Ignitus has kept close to Eric's castle whether docked or in the vicinity. The majority of the Skylanders were either on the ship or out on patrol. Hot Dog was with Eric and Max as the prince played his flute, hoping that the girl of his dreams would hear it and appear. But thanks to updates from the Water Skylanders, his dream girl is actually a friend of theirs. But they don't even know when they would show up with her and Hot Dog would always talk with Max about it and thanks to him being a dog, he could read his fellow canine's body language and barks. Max always stated that the girl fled when she saw him coming and he would always try to get Eric's attention drawn to the sea.

As Eric looked out to the sea, he sighed, "That voice. I can't get it out of my head." He looked at the two and said, "I've looked everywhere, guys. Where could she be?"

 As she woke up, Ariel was checking her surroundings and was surprised when she noticed her knees emerging in the water. She raised one of them up and noticed that she doesn't have a tail anymore, instead she has two five-digit feet and two human legs. Her amazement was interrupted by Scuttle who was followed by Eye Brawl's flying Eyeball. The seagull tried to guess what was different about his friend as the bird guessed from hair to shells until and irritated shout from Sebastian told him the reason as Scuttle asked the eyeball,

"So Flying Eyeball, whats happened here?"

The Eyeball said, "I believe our friends should be able to answer this."

Flounder said, "Ariel's been turned into a human. She has to make the prince fall in love with her and he has to kiss her."

Thumpback finished, "But we have a three day time limit."

Their conversation was interrupted by a splash when Ariel attempted to stand and keep her balance. Sebastian yelled,

"Just look what I saw...On legs. On human Legs!"

Sebastian was having a nervous breakdown, “My nerves are short! This is a catastrophe! What would her father say? I'll tell you what her father'd say, he'd say he's gonna kill himself a crab, that's what her father'd say!" He starting to march towards the water, "I'm gonna march meself straight home right now and tell him just like I shoulda done de minute..." Ariel grabbed him before he went deeper, "And don't you shake your head at me, young lady!" 
He attempted to persuade her, "Maybe there's still time. If we could get that witch to give you back your voice, you could go home with all the normal fish, and just be... just be..." 

Her desperation and sad eyes made the Jamaican crab understand if they went with his plan, "Just be miserable for the rest of your life." He sighed as he stated, "All right, all right. I'll try to help you find that prince.” In joy, she kissed the crab and set him back on the ground leaving the crab wondering,

"Boy. What a softshell I'm turning out to be." Eye-Brawl's body arrived and the eyeball touched down on top. Both Scuttle and Eye Brawl found a loose piece of cloth from a derelict dinghy, so they could dress Ariel.

 On the other side of the shore, Eric, Max and Hot Dog were taking a stroll when the fire dog spoke, "You just need to look hard enough and soon you'll find her." Eric knew that it was the same thing that Grimsby said to him, but having Hot Dog around was good since he and Max talked through barks, the two became best friends afterwards. It wasn't until they noticed Max taking off towards the other side of the shore as Eric shouted,

" Huh? What? Max!"

Hot Dog ran after his fellow canine, "Max!" The dog barked as the fire dog realized what he was saying,  "She is near! She is near!"

 Scuttle whistled and said, "You look good, kid and sensational." 

Eye Brawl added with an 'Okay' hand gesture, "As beautiful as ever." Ariel was outfitted into a torn up sail and thanks to her friends, she looked as if she was involved in a shipwreck. Although, considering that she signed her soul to Ursula, turned human and nearly drowned if not for her friends. It wasn't until they heard a dog bark as Eye-Brawl recognized it, "His dog is on his way here right now."

Everyone except the Skylanders fled as Max the dog showed up and started barking which startled her, making her climb on a nearby rock. Prince Eric arrived on the scene accompanied by Hot Dog as the young man asked, 

"What's gotten into ya, fella?" That was when he noticed Ariel on the rock as he realized, "Oh." The prince assumed that Max frightened her, although he knows his faithful companion didn't mean to, so he apologized to her,

"Oh, I see. Are you OK, miss? I'm sorry if this knucklehead scared you. He's harmless really, uh..." That was when he felt a sense of familiarity with her as he asked,

"You seem very familiar to me. Have we met?" This question made Ariel nod in joy which made the prince know why she was so familiar since he remembered a glimpse of his dream girl's face. He was happy,

"We have met. I knew it. You're the one, the I've been looking for. What's your name?" All he needed was to know her name, but when Ariel tried to speak, she couldn't even let out a single word remembering that she lost her voice. Eric noticed how sad she looked.

"What's wrong?" Eric noticed her put her hand on her neck, which looked like she was telling him something as he asked. "You can't speak?"

The realization that she couldn't speak shot down his hopes that she was the one, believing that he made a mistake,"Oh, then you couldn't be who I thought."

Ariel felt a bit hurt from what he said as the dog let out an irritated sigh along with her. Although she made motions to know that she's hurt which the prince noticed and to him, if someone is hurt then it's best to help. While trying to communicate through body language, she nearly fell off the rock, only for the prince to catch her,

"Whoa, whoa, careful! Careful, easy."

Gill Grunt spoke, "We just found this girl in a shipwreck. So we were trying to find help and figured that since our ship is here, we could bring her here as well."

Eric looked at the marine and then at the others with him as Hot Dog pointed out, "Gill, guys, it's great to see you again!"

Eric asked, "You know them?"

Eye Brawl introduced, "Prince Eric, this is Gill Grunt, the Crustacean is Wham-Shell, the Water Dragon is Zap, but don't let his name fool you."

Eric replied, "And the Giant Whale?"

Eye Brawl continued, "That is Thumpback. These are the missing Skylanders we were inquiring about." Eric nodded as he helped Ariel, "The Skylanders helped me out." He assured the girl, "Don't worry, I'll help you." The Skylanders joined Eric as they helped Ariel to the castle also about time for a reunion with their fellow Skylanders.

When all introductions were taken care of between Donald, Goofy and the rest of the Skylanders, they held a meeting in the castle study. The duck and the dog were now their true selves thanks to Donald's magic as Gill Grunt decided to start the meeting.

"We all know what we are now up against, fellas. Ariel made a deal with Ursula, the Sea-Witch, she was turned into a human, but lost her voice as a result."

Ignitor spoke, "I talked with the prince about his dream girl and the most important thing he mentioned was her voice - she had the most beautiful singing voice that he ever heard. But considering that Ariel doesn't have her voice, he won't be able to recognize her."

Sunburn added, "What's more suspicious is that the witch would give her a three - day limit to make the prince fall in love with Ariel."

Stealth Elf knew this, "There's no doubt that Ursula intentionally wants Ariel to fail. You take away Ariel's singing voice, you would only leave her as a mute when the one person who is interested in her could only identify her by her voice."

Spyro understood this, "Stealth Elf has a point, guys. It's impossible for Eric to recognize that Ariel is the one without the voice to prove it."

Zap sighed, "Nothing is impossible unless you try." He pointed out, "We did get them to meet."

Goofy nodded, "True, but she's only a guest like us."

Donald stated, "If we can get the two alone, we can figure out a way to make them kiss."

Eye Brawl remembered something that the prince told him after they brought Ariel into the castle, "The prince told me that he would be taking her out to see the town, he's going to be with her until dusk. I had figured that the best way to ensure that they kiss is something to lighten the mood."

Wham-Shell spoke, "And I have just the crab to help us with that."

Sebastian appeared on the Crustacean's shoulder and said, "I could be able to help...as a redemption."

Goofy spoke, "Sebastian, you know that we'd do anything for a friend." 

Donald spoke, "We've known Ariel for a long time and when I see that when a friend is in need, we go above and beyond to help them."

Twilight spoke up, "That's some nice words of encouragement, Donald."

Donald spoke, "We've been doing this a lot, so we have a 'Friend in Need' Situation." There was a knock on the door as Zook entered the room,

"Prince Eric has requested us to join him for dinnah along wit his guest."

Spyro knew that it was almost dinner time, "Okay, we'll head for the dining hall. But it's only going to be a few of us due to our large numbers."

Zook nodded, "Pick a team to go with you to da dining hall." The dragon thought it over for a moment before deciding, "Gill, Wham, Zap, Donald, Goofy, Cynder, Whirlwind and I will go to the dining hall. Everyone else, head back to the ship on grab something to eat. Fruits, veggies, meat, hayburgers, you name it."

Thumpback decided, "Meeting is on hold until after dinner." The Skylanders left the study to either return to the Ignitus, or went to meet with Eric and Ariel at the dinner table. The trek from the study to the dining room was kind of a twist since some of them almost got lost. But as they rounded a corner, Zap separated from the group and wandered into the kitchen by accident. Inside, he saw various things that gave him a chill, mostly dead fish, a hatchet, a chopping block, a stuffed crab which kind of reminded him of Sebastian, but what gave him the ultimate shock was the large rack of stuffed eels and considering that he was once raised by electric eels, he fainted.

 Upon regaining consciousness, the dragon stuck his head out and saw Chef Louie singing in French as he brought out a bowl full of fish. The chef paused for a moment while adjusting his bow tie, Zap on the other hand was making sure not to get caught as the chef began to sing,

 "Les poissons, les poissons
How I love les poissons
Love to chop and to serve little fish..." Zap could only watch as the chef pulled out a knife and chopped the fish in half, sure he's a dragon and eats fish, but watching the frenchie chop the fish with a knife almost frightened him. As the chef sang while performing how he cooks,

 "First I cut off their heads
Then I pull out their bones
Ah mes oui, savez toujours delice." Zap thought that it was interesting, but the dead eels brought him back to reality as he looked up from his hiding place to see the chef still in his own little world as he sang, 

 "Les poissons, les poissons
Hee hee hee, haw haw haw
With a cleaver I hack them in two..." Zap attempted to sneak away until a fish head got in his path as the fish head's eyes stared up at him, like out of a horror movie.

 "I pull out what's inside
And I serve it up fried
Cause I love little fishes, don't you?" The chef flung the finished fish onto the plate as Zap sighed knowing that he wasn't caught. He needed a cover so he could escape the kitchen, that's when he found a large dish of lettuce,

 "Here's something for tempting the palette..." Zap quickly hid under the plate and slowly began to move towards the door,
 "Prepared in the classic technique
First you pound the fish flat with a malette
Then you slash off their skin
Give their belly a slice
Then you rub some salt in
'Cause it makes it taste nice..." He reached for the lettuce dish, exposing Zap as the dragon looked up with wide eyes while the chef was surprised and since he had his legs to his sides, the chef thought he was an eel,

"Zut alors, I have missed one!" He grabbed Zap as he sang,
 "Sacre bleu, what is this?
How on earth could I miss
Such a sweet little succulent eel..." Zap was struggling to get free as the chef continued,
 "Quel Domage, what a loss
Here we go, in the sauce..." He tossed Zap into the sauce bowl,
 "Now some flour I think just a dab..." The dragon was covered in flour which was more than a dab as Zap sneezed,
 "Now I stuff you with bread
It don't hurt cause you're dead!
And you're certainly lucky you are..." Just like he said in song, Louie had stuffed Zap's face with bread, believing that Zap was dead and wouldn't risk choking him. After he was done, Zap spat out the bread as the chef finished his song,

 "Cause its gonna be hot in zat big silver pot!
Tout-aloo mon poisson
Au revior!"  Louie had tossed the dragon into the large silver pot that was on the stove with boiling water that would spell out 'Doom' for any crab, lobster or even him if he landed in there. But luckily for Zap, he held on to the rim of the pot, electrified himself and launched himself out and back onto the table, which caught Louie's attention. He grabbed the Water Dragon by the tail and looked at this strange thing,

"What is this?" At that moment, Zap, with an angry face bit Louie in the nose which made him release his grip. Zap landed on another pot on the hot stove after his first strike. The chef attempted to grab him, but Zap jumped back, making the frenchie's hand hit the hot stove instead as he reeled back in pain. It wasn't over yet since the pot that was on the stove fell off and hit his foot as the chef jumped while clenching his foot. After that was done, Louie spotted the dragon, grabbed his knives and hurled them at the retreating Zap. The dragon managed to avoid becoming a dragon kebab and slipped under the table. When Louie looked underneath for Zap, he was hit in the head by the sauce bowl that was pushed by Zap as the chef's eyes no doubt show a huge amount of rage underneath that sauce.

The Chef uber-chopped the table in rage, half hoping to kill the Dragon, but when he didn't see the dragon in pieces. He looked to his right and saw Zap retreating as he threw the hatchet. The weapon only made Zap run the other way while shocking the chef as he ran underneath him. The dragon ran to a large spice rack in hopes of taking cover from the crazy chef. He looked behind him and saw said Chef charging at him, armed with a mallet and had murder in his eyes. Zap knew that this was not going to end well, so he hid as Louie made a jump for the rack with a shriek of rage.

A large crashing sound was heard as the Skylanders were waiting at the table and chatting with either Eric and the others. Although the crashing noise caught the attention of a few of them. The maid, Carlotta noticed the noise and calmly said,

"I think I better go see what Louie's up to." A crashing sound was heard again as Carlotta ran into the kitchen with a speed that let's you know that something was wrong in the kitchen. At the same time, Louie, who's outfit was torn and looked like he was in an accident or a shipwreck was tearing the entire cabinet apart trying to find Zap, now acknowledging that he  was a dragon,

"Come out you little dragon and fight like a MAN!" He dove in again, but was interrupted by Carlotta as she shouted,

"Louie!" The chef bumped his head as her voice caught his attention. He pulled his head out of the cabinet and turned his attention to the lady as she demanded, "What are you doing!" The Chef tried to work his way around his scuffle with Zap while the effects of the dragon's power gave him a few jolts of shocks every now and then before saying,

"Eh, sorry madam." He snuffed out a small fire on his mustache with his fingers before giving Carlotta an apologetic smile before the maid stormed off with the food.

 As Grimsby suggested that Eric takes Ariel out for a tour of the kingdom, Whirlwind was wondering why Zap wasn't at the table which Gill Grunt noticed as well. Goofy noticed the absence of their electric friend as they all realized what happened and Whirlwind didn't take it too well,

"Zap got lost!?"

Wham-Shell explained, "We didn't know he was missing until we were already at the table."

Gill added, "And plus, this castle is more of a twist than a troll pretzel factory." 

Whirlwind was not having this, "That doesn't change the fact that Zap could be anywhere by now!" It wasn't until Carlotta returned with the food and overheard their conversation,

"There's no need to be worried, dear. I'm sure he'll turn up soon." The Unicorn/Dragon Hybrid sighed as the maid set her meal on the table. Carlotta noted on how heavy Whirlwind's plate was and thought that the chef made a rather large amount of Stuffed Eel. Whirlwind sighed again as she prepared to open the lid,

"I'll probably save a few for Zap when we find him." Her sorrow would soon turn to shock at the very moment she lifted the lid off her plate. What she saw would not only shock her, but surprise everyone else in the dining hall. 



Whirlwind saw her boyfriend, crouched down with his eyes shut tight and an apple in his mouth while shaking a bit. Everyone at the table was shocked to see their missing friend on a plate. Upon hearing them gasp, Zap opened his eyes, looked around at his surroundings and noticed Whirlwind in front of him with her eyes and mouth wide open. He dropped the apple out of his mouth and asked while slightly smiling,

"LOL What...are..you..doing tonight." He let out an embarrassing chuckle before face palming himself. Whirlwind asked,

"So you were under there the whole time?"

"I just got in here recently."

Carlotta realized, "I wondered why it was heavy."

Prince Eric said, "Well you seem to show up in strange places."

Zap replied, "I was once a prince, so showing up in strange places is what I do."

Goofy looked at Spyro, "This is more strange than when we invited Bugs and Daffy over for dinner."

Spyro chuckled, "Donald probably wasn't happy to see him again after what you told us about their feud over the pianos." 

"Mickey was happy to see Bugs because they go skydiving once a month. As for Daffy, we were lucky for Daisy and Tina to keep them in check." 

After Zap's embarrassing dinner, The Skylanders regrouped in the study and continued their meeting. Eye Brawl asked,

"So, the plan is make Ariel and Eric fall in love with each other and they have to kiss?"

Chill pointed out, "Eric decided to take her on a tour of the kingdom tomorrow. We also requested a few Skylanders to patrol the area around the kingdom."

Thumpback replied, "The flying Skylanders would be patrolling the skies above the kingdom and scouting out for the carriage that Ariel and Eric will be in."

Spyro looked at Sebastian, "Sebastian, you know a thing or two about romance, right? You write songs and symphonies when the idea hits you?"

Sebastian had an idea, "Yes, I do. But I could have done dat if I wasn't looking out for Ariel. But, I do know what to do when it comes to romance, music wise."

Whirlwind came up to the crab, "We'll need all the help we can get if we're going to get those two together." 

Donald spoke, "In the meantime, I suggest that you stay with Ariel. It will be nice since you want to help."

The Jamaican crab sighed, "Dat girl can be a handful." 

 Meanwhile at Atlantica, the news of Ariel's disappearance has struck everyone in the kingdom. King Triton had felt personally responsible for driving his daughter to run away from home. Even now, he's been sending out search parties for any signs of Ariel and the Skylanders. When the tiny seahorse returned, he asked,

"Any sign of them?" The seahorse reported, "No, Your Majesty. We've searched everywhere. We found no trace of your daughter or Sebastian or the Skylanders." 

He wasn't going to give up on his daughter and stated, "Well keep looking, leave no shell unturned, no coral unexplored, let no one in this kingdom sleep until she's safe at home."

The seahorse knew what the king has been going through as he bowed, "Yes, sire." As the leader of the search party left, the Sea King sat on his throne, he was filled with grief, sadness and on top of that - guilt. He felt guilty for not listening to Ariel, guilty for not being reasonable as he considered himself to be and he felt guilty for battling the Skylanders at Ariel's grotto. All he could ask was,

"Oh, What have I done? What have I done?" "A mistake that will no doubt pin you as the villain in your daughter's eyes." Said a new voice which caught Triton's attention. The king looked at the entrance to his throne room and spotted a peculiar sight. It was a human, wearing a silver helmet with three spikes on each side, blue eyes, white beard, he wore a blue robe with a sash that had different symbols on it. But the most peculiar thing about this human was the ethereal aura surrounding him. Triton was surprised,

"You're...a spirit?" The spirit stated, "I am indeed a spirit, your majesty. My name is Eon and we have much to talk about."

Triton recognized the name, "The Skylanders mentioned you when I warned Ariel about the dangers of humans." The spirit chuckled,

"A Skylander can be extremely loyal to their friends and comrades. I'm sure you've experienced how they fight and I assure you that they did it out of defense." The king knew that this was Master Eon, the same Eon that the four mentioned. He already had enough guilt over destroying Ariel's human relics, so he wouldn't turn down the human spirit because of it as said spirit noticed his mood,

"I understand what you are going through, your majesty. You have made a mistake and now your youngest daughter ran away."

"I understand that she hates me for it. I failed to listen to her, to her friends and destroyed everything that made her happy."

"The life of a single father of seven is a burden to bear when the youngest is the most adventurous."

"I just want her home and to tell her I'm sorry."

"There's no need to send out search parties. I can assure you that your daughter is safe and sound under the protection of the Skylanders."

"You mean..." "She's safe with the Skylanders, but I sense a sinister plot at work and whatever is going on, the Skylanders will be ready."

"I'm happy to know she's safe and seeing how those four fight to protect her, I'll have to put my faith in the Skylanders to keep her safe."

"You have my word and that extends to the rest of the Skylanders." Triton was relieved to know that should anything happen to Ariel, she'll be protected by a group of honorable heroes, wherever she is. 

But the king had a feeling that Eon had more than just telling him that the Skylanders will protect his youngest as he asked the spirit, "What made you decide to talk to me?"

Master Eon snapped his fingers as a crystal appeared between the merman and the human spirit, "This crystal attached itself to the Portal of Power and served as a key to entering this world. Most scholars and investigators have figured out that this crystal was responsible for sending the Skylanders to this world and due to its appearance being the prongs of a trident, I sought you out for answers." 

Triton was surprised by this, not only was he talking to a human spirit from the same world that the Skylanders came from, he was surprised by the object that he was asked about. The Merman pointed out, "I know that crystal and all my years as King, that crystal has only ever existed in an old merpeople legend told throughout the ages."

Eon was curious, "I am interested in hearing this tale."

The Sea-King waved his trident as an image appeared between the two, "This story was of an old friendship between land and sea, the symbol of that friendship and how it was lost due to a betrayal. This is the legend of the crystal named 'Poseidon's Trident.'" 

The next day came as Eric and Ariel left as the Skylanders departed for their kingdom patrol. Stealth Elf shadowed the couple, watching the former mermaid notice with wonder. She had seen her with things, from a puppet show to Ariel and Eric dancing, all while being asked by Flounder and Scuttle if they had kissed yet which she replied with, 'Not yet.' The flying Skylanders have noticed that the carriage left the town and was heading to a nearby countryside. But to make matters bad, Eric had given Ariel the reins as she took control of the horses pulling the carriage - making it go faster and bumpier. The fast moving carriage had jumped a chasm which almost made them hold their breath on it. But the couple landed safely on the other side of the chasm as the ride began to smooth out to the relief of the patrolling Skylanders. Afterwards as the evening rolled around, the Skylanders spotted the couple on a rowboat. Although, it didn't look like they were doing anything. Scuttle suggested that they sing in a way to compel the two to kiss. But when that seagull attempted to sing which was horrible to say the least and with Eric suggesting that someone should find that bird and put him out of his misery. Sebastian decided to take matters into his own claws which the Skylanders agreed. 

Thy needed to set up the mood and with the local aquatic wild life, Sebastian had composed his number as he sang,

"There you see her, 
Sitting there across the way.
She don't got a lot to say, 
but there's something about her.

And you don't know why, 
but you're dyin' to try, 
you wanna kiss the girl."

Thumpback pulled Sebastian away when Prince Eric heard his voice, "Did you hear something?"

The Skylanders were hiding in the trees, the Water Skylanders were hiding in the water as they sang,

"Yes, you want her, Look at her you know you do.
Possible she wants you too, There is one way to ask her.
You don't take a word,
Not a single word, 
Go on and Kiss the Girl."

Sebastian said, "Sing with me now."

"Shala-la-la-la-la, My,oh,my, 
look like the boy to shy 
He ain't gonna kiss the girl.

Sha-la-la-la-la-la, Ain't that sad?
Ain't it a shame?
Too bad, He gonna miss the girl"

When Prince Eric was trying to find out her name and kept randomly guessing, Gill popped up from the water and whispered,

"Ariel, her name is Ariel."

The Prince asked, "Ariel?" She nodded. He asked again, "Ariel?" She nodded again. He decided, "That's kinda pretty." Wham-Shell and Sebastian began singing as the boat made its way into the shade of a tree,

"Now's your moment,
Floating in a blue lagoon,
Boy, you better do it soon,
No time will be better."

Spyro hid in the branches above and sang,

"She don't say a word and she won't say a word until ya kiss the girl."

Every fish and Skylander made the boat rotate as they sang,

"Sha-la-la-la-la-la, Don't be scared,
You got the mood prepared,
Go on and Kiss the Girl.

Sha-la-la-la-la-la, Don't stop now,
Don't try and hide it how you wanna Kiss the Girl.
Whoah, Whoah,

Sha-la-la-la-la-la, Float along and listen to this song.

Everyone was getting excited because Ariel and Eric were actually going to kiss. The Skylanders were hoping to complete what they were doing so they can go home, back to their Portal Masters. They still continued to sing,

"Kiss the Girl

Why don't you, Kiss the Girl."

The Flying Skylanders were amazed how this well this all turned out.

"Go on and Kiss the Girl."

Wham-Shell was with Sebastian and Scuttle when the crab shook the seagull and both sang

"Go on and Kiss the Girl."

But their success was in a downfall when they saw the boat tip over. Sebastian face-clawed, well almost every Skylander followed Sebastian's face claw, well since half were Equestrian Skylanders, they face-hooved. But what they didn't know is that the boat tipping over wasn't an accident - it was intentional since nobody noticed two familiar eels snickering fiendishly. Donald, Goofy and Zap noticed them for a split second before they swam away. The dragon noticed,

"Those looked like the eels that serve Ursula." 

Goofy nodded and said, "But what were they doing out here?"

As the dragon, dog and duck turned to see Eric helping Ariel up and then back to where the eels disappeared, Donald could only say,

"I've got a bad feeling about this."

After the failed Romantic Night, All Skylanders including Sebastian gathered on the Ignitus to go over another plan because the third day is tomorrow. Eye Brawl asked,

"Any ideas for the third and final day?"

The Skylanders had no ideas for the third and final day. So they just had to hope that Ariel and Eric kiss before the sunsets tomorrow. Spyro said, "This meeting is adjourned, time to turn in for the night." Thumpback decided to go down to the balcony where Eric was, so he could talk to him.

 When the Water Giant reached the balcony, he found Eric looking out to the sea, playing his flute in hopes that he would find his dream girl, the one with the beautiful voice. He noticed the Water Giant and said, "Hey Thumpback. I guess you were wondering what happened tonight?"

Thumpback spoke, "I heard that you two almost kissed." 

The Prince replied, "We did...but I don't know what to do." He looked out to the sea, "Ever since I first heard that voice, I wondered if the girl I'm looking for is still out there."

"Eric, when it comes to to finding the right girl, the better question is 'Is she close by?' You saw how embarrassed Zap was when he showed up on a plate in front of Whirlwind. Those two have been together for months and remember when Bash told you about how he and Flashwing met?"

"I remember that...maybe the girl who saved me is out there and she could be close by." The whale spoke as the prince looked up at the window where Ariel was, "You have always search for the right girl and you once told Grim that it would hit you like lightning. But when you look up at that window and see Ariel, you see a lovely young woman." 

"She may not be my dream girl, but she's beautiful." He looked at his flute and then back up to the window before saying, "Maybe I've been looking in the wrong direction. Ariel is a very special woman  for some reason, I have a strange feeling like I've seen her before. Even more so that, my heart seems to be pointing to her...I need to do something about it."

Thumpback patted Eric on the back, "That's the spirit." He looked at the Ignitus, "I better turn in for the night. You should speak with Ariel before you turn in." 

Eric replied, "I will."

As Thumpback left, Eric sighed about not finding the girl, but upon seeing Ariel's image in the window. He couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity with Ariel, like he's seen her before they first met. He thought about what Thumpback said to him saying that maybe he should go see her. So, he tossed his flute into the sea and was about to leave, probably going to talk to Ariel. Until he heard a sound coming from the shore, he saw a dark-haired woman wearing a dark blue dress and a glowing shell necklace. Eric instantly felt his free will slipping away and his eyes having a yellow reflection like he's being brainwashed.

The next morning, the Skylanders emerged from the Ignitus to see what events might transpire today. But they never guessed what transpired that day. Goofy was running down the stairs with Ariel and Donald since Scuttle had flew into her room just as the two were going to wake her and congratulated her because the Prince is going to marry her and the whole town was talking about it. We cut to them reaching the bottom of the stairs as the trio heard Grimsby's voice as well as Eric's voice. They poked their head out to see Prince Eric with a dark haired woman discussing the immediate wedding plans for today! Ariel was heartbroken since this wasn't what she imagined and ran down a nearby hallway, Donald was furious and wanted to run down there and give them a piece of his mind until Goofy stopped him,

"Donald, we can't just rush in there. We don't know what's going on right now and I have a bad feeling about that woman."

Donald sighed, "Fine, we need to tell the Skylanders about this." Soon enough, the dog and duck ran towards the docks as the woman briefly glanced at them as she silently chuckled while caressing a shell necklace. 

 As the duo reached the docks where the Ignitus was anchored.

"Another woman!?" asked the other Skylanders. 

Goofy replied, "That's exactly what we saw, she was a dark haired woman, dark blue dress and a yellow shell necklace." 

Zap noticed a little detail about this woman, "Why does the shell necklace sound familiar?" 

Gill Grunt remembered, "When we met Ursula, she was wearing a shell necklace that sucked Ariel's voice inside!" 

Wham-Shell looked out on the Ignitus' starboard side, "Guys, The Wedding Ship is departing! There's no doubt in my mind that the woman is on board." He looked at the Undead Giant, "Eye Brawl, Find Scuttle and see if this woman is Ursula." 

Eye Brawl's eye detached, "On it."

 Eye Brawl's flying eye flew off to find Scuttle while Gill Grunt, Wham-Shell and Zap found Ariel crying near the dock. The flying Eyeball found Scuttle just flying around and singing to himself, "Scuttle, I need your help for a little recon."

The Seagull asked, "You want us to spy on someone?" 

Eye Brawl's eye replied, "We have suspicions that the woman that Eric is with is the Sea-Witch." 

Scuttle said, "Well what are you waiting for?!" Scuttle and Eye Brawl's eye flew to the wedding ship as the pair heard a familiar voice coming from the ship. The Seagull recognized, "That's Ariel's voice." 

They came across a window that peered into a dressing room as the woman was singing her evil plans of ruling the ocean using Ariel's stolen voice as she threw a dart at the head at the top of the mirror which made the seagull gulp. Eye Brawl's eye looked closer at the mirror as the woman stepped onto the vanity, not caring about things she was stepping on and pulled the mirror forward. In the mirror, it showed a frightening reflection of the woman's true form as Scuttle spoke, "The Sea-Witch!" 

The Eyeball turned to Scuttle, "I'll warn the Skylanders, You find Ariel." The seagull nodded and flew off, not before bumping into the ship a few times while yelling Ariel's name.

 Gill, Wham, Zap, Donald, Goofy and Sebastian were now in a slump along with Ariel. They now believed that they failed their mission to bring them together, it was both tragic and heartbreaking to be like this. The human-turned mermaid's tears dropped from her eyes and into the sea where Thumpback and Flounder were as they looked up at their heartbroken friend. The mood was changed when Scuttle arrived and started spouting and stammering as the group pointed out the words 'Sea-Witch' 'wedding' 'Prince' and 'Fake' until he grabbed Sebastian, "Can't you hear what I'm telling you!?" He started slamming the crab up and down the dock as he spoke, "The Prince is marrying the Sea-Witch in disguise!"

The crab, dazed from that sudden explanation asked, "Are you sure about dis?" Scuttle had explained that he an Eye-Brawl knew what they saw and it was confirmed. The others felt a sense of deja vu since they were in this same situation before and Gill Grunt was furious about all of this, 

"I should've known this would happen." He slammed his fist on the dock, "It's Canterlot, all over again!" 

Goofy asked, "Wait, this happened before?" Zap recalled, "A shape-shifting bug queen impersonated Princess Cadance and tried to marry Twilight's brother in disguise back home. This is exactly like it, except the bug queen had a swarm."

Wham-Shell said, "We got to stop that wedding." 

Zap had an idea, "Scuttle, can you, Sonic Boom and the flying Skylanders stall the wedding long enough for us to get to the ship?" 

The Seagull replied, "Sure I can, but I need to find Sonic Boom first." 

Gill Grunt eased off his anger and said, "We already have that covered." He looked up, "Your Highnesses, we need Sonic Boom!!"

When Gill shouted, Sonic Boom appeared in a flash of light. "Whoa, what an entrance." said Scuttle. 

Sonic Boom said, "You need to stall the wedding, my hatchlings will stall it." 

Scuttle added, "Yeah, but I need to help out." 

Gill Grunt looked up, "We need you to send out a message to all Skylanders with wings or flight capabilities! We need to stop that wedding!" Soon enough, a flock of flying Skylanders took off from the Ignitus while Scuttle let out a squawk that served as a call to action for every sea creature, water fowl, seals and sea-lions in the vicinity from the nearby lagoon to the ocean itself as the distraction team and the Skylands ship departed. They knew that it was heading for the Wedding Ship to stop that wedding. Wham-Shell mounted his mace as the weapon shifted to water mode, "Ok, mount up. We need to stop that Wedding and get these two back together before the sun sets."

Ariel looked out at the wedding ship and the sunset as she heard Ursula's words echo up in her head,  "When the Sun sets on the Third Day..." 
Now determined to stop the sea-witch's scheme, she jumped into the sea, but she couldn't swim in her human form, so Zap and Sebastian sent down a barrel to keep her afloat. Flounder, Gill Grunt, Wham-Shell and Thumpback pulled while Donald and Goofy were with Ariel. Zap was going to go with them until he had a better idea. He jumped into the water and swam away from them as Sebastian followed the dragon, "Where do you tink you're goin'?"

Zap smiled, "I'm going to do something that we should've done when Ursula decided to involve herself in this." Sebastian, now realizing what Zap was going to do, followed after the dragon. 

 Meanwhile with the others, the chase to stop the Wedding has begun, the distraction team was preparing to strike, Sonic Boom said, "Scuttle, you lead the first strike, aim for Ursula, keep her busy long enough for the others to get aboard." 

Scuttle saluted, "Roger that and point me at the Sea-Witch." Sonic Boom let out a Sonic Scream which served as the signal for attack. It seemed like a perfect time to attack since the two were at the altar, Scuttle swooped in and attacked Ursula while in the process of saying their vows, Sonic-Boom's hatchlings followed soon after. The seals, sea-lions and starfish  climbed aboard, shocking the guests as they attacked the bride, even Max the dog joined in for the party. Scuttle was clinging onto Ursula along with the starfish as the priest, oblivious to the chaos tried get back on track with the wedding while Eric was standing still like a drone. She ended up strangling the seagull after letting out an enraged "WHY YOU LITTLE!!"

The Sea-Lions were throwing the disguised sea-witch around like a ragdoll by bouncing her on their noses and sent her all over the place, causing the wedding guests to back away as she landed in the wedding cake. As she tried to get up, one of the griffin hatchlings attacked as she attempted to swat the baby griffin off, only for his beak to grasp Ursula's Shell necklace as he yanked it off, it went flying through air before shattering as it hit the deck, snapping Prince Eric out of his brainwashed state. The attack stopped as the people on deck heard Ariel's voice echo as a yellow orb moved to Ariel herself, who was on deck with Gill, Wham, Donald and Goofy when the necklace shattered. The orb moved down her throat and began letting out the same tune she sang before. Prince Eric, recognizing the voice asked,

"Ariel?" 

She replied, "Eric." The Skylanders on the Ignitus and the ones in the air cheered to see them back together. The prince was surprised to see her speak since she got her voice back, realizing that it was her the whole time. Ursula tried to tell Eric to get away from her in her true voice, but to no avail. The Skylanders held their breaths that Ariel and Eric were about to kiss as Ursula yelled,

"ERIC, NO!" Their lips were so close to touching until the sun had disappeared from the horizon. At that moment, Ariel fell to the deck as her legs turned back into a green tail fin - she was a mermaid again! Spyro was frightened by this as he said, 

"Oh no, We're too late!!" 

A very joyful Ursula yelled, "You're right, Skylanders! YOU'RE TOO LATE!!" In a flash of light, she returned to her true form, shocking the wedding attendees. She weaved through the five, grabbed Ariel as she told Eric,

"So long, Lover Boy." She jumped into the sea as Eric shouted, "Ariel!"

After seeing that their friend is in danger, Gill, Wham, Donald and Goofy jumped ship as Thumpback submerged to go after Ursula with the dog and duck assuming their aquatic forms.

 As Ursula dragged her captive down into the sea, she was discussing about it all until a demanding voice spoke,

"Ursula, STOP!" The Skylanders were surprised to see King Triton pointing his trident at the sea-witch, but we're even more surprised to see that not only was Sebastian there, but Zap was there with the king as well, revealing that he and Sebastian had warned Triton about Ursula. The sea-witch sarcastically said that it was nice to see him, although the sea king demanded that his daughter be released as the Skylanders surrounded her with weapons drawn. But the problem was that Ursula brought up the contract that Ariel signed as she apologized since she didn't know that this would happen. When Triton and the Team of Six attempted an all out attack to destroy the contract, the sea-witch hid behind it as the combined blasts from the weapons pushed her back with the contract showing no signs of damage, much to their shock.

Ursula had laughed as she stated that the contract can't be destroyed by the trident or any of the weapons from the six and because it was Ariel's contract and it was legal, she was going to be turned into a polyp like all of the other merpeople that Ursula had cheated. But as she showed the contract to the Skylanders, Donald noticed that the contract had six more names added to it. The Team of Six were shocked to see their own names on the contract right next to Ariel's name. Gill pointed his gun at Ursula, "Our names are on the contract! What are you trying to pull!?"

Ursula grinned as she circled around them with their weapons still trained on her, "Well Skylander, since you six encouraged her to go through with the deal. You have also put names into the contract as well. So now all six of you belong to me along with the daughter of King Triton."

The Sea-King shocked by this, asked, "Is that true?"

Gill sighed, "Yes, your majesty. It's all true."

The Sea-Witch grinned, "I love how the most battle-hardened gillman are the most honest ones. So according to the terms of the contract. All six of you are mine!" The shocked team attempted to attack her for cheating them until the power from the contract wrapped around them, relieving them of their weapons as they were anchored to the ground next to Ariel - putting Gill Grunt, Wham-Shell, Zap, Thumpback, Donald and Goofy in danger of turning into polyps as well.

On the surface, Eric was rowing his boat out to sea, determined to rescue Ariel as Grimsby yelled from the ship, "Eric, what are you doing?!"

The prince yelled, "Grim, I've lost her once, I'm not going to lose her again!" Although, Grimsby could've stopped him, he decided to let him go. The girl of his dreams, one that went through so much just to be with him, is held captive and Eric is determined to rescue her.

Back under the sea, Ursula was persuading Triton to exchange his daughter and the Skylanders for himself. The Sea-Witch was a persuasive and conniving woman. The slowly wilting seven could only watch while fully realizing Ursula's plan. She had used Ariel's desires to her advantage and intentionally wanted her to fail, even by taking matters into her own hands via shapeshifing. When Ariel turned back into a mermaid, she would wait for the king to arrive and save his daughter, only to be faced with the concept of Ariel's contract since she was in danger. The only way for him to save them is if he took their place on the contract and it was what Ursula wanted - to back Triton against the wall with the only thing keeping his daughter in danger was something that his trident can't destroy, Ursula had used Triton's love for his family against him as Ariel and the Team of Six were close to turning into polyps. As Ursula asked,

"Have we got a deal?" Triton sighed in defeat as he raised his trident and in a single shot - the previous names were removed and replaced with just Triton's name. After the contract was changed, Ariel and the Team of Six were restored while the magic from the contract consumed the Sea-King, turning the proud ruler of the merpeople into a polyp. As the team watched as Triton's polyp self gazed at them with defeat in his eyes, they were shocked to see him like this as Sebastian said in shock, "Your Majesty..."

Ariel was hurt to see her own father like this since this could've been her and her friends fate, "Daddy..." The Skylanders were sad to see him turn into a polyp, but it shown how devoted he was to his family and he would do anything for them, even if it meant sacrificing himself. Zap spoke, "You gave up your form to save us...did I make a mistake by warning you?"

The polyp shook his head as he gestured to his restored daughter as well as the rest of the team. "You knew that we can count on each other...I promise, we promise that we'll fix this." The polyp smiled briefly, knowing the nobility of the Skylanders. But the only one among the group who was happy to see Triton turned to a polyp, 

"At last." Ursula said as she approached the polyp and donned Triton's crown, "It's mine!" 

She had the crown and the trident in her possession, making her Queen of the Sea. Ariel, after seeing her father as a polyp and knowing full well that could've happened to her and her friends if he hadn't signed the contract, all seven glared at the witch,

"You Monster!!" Ariel and the Team of Six attacked Ursula with their bare hands, claws and fins while attempting to pry the trident from her hands, but her tentacles snatched them until the witch's arm was grazed by a harpoon. She gripped her arm and she glared at the culprit, holding Gill's harpoon gun was Prince Eric who swam down to help. Ariel and the team of six were still being held by Ursula as she shouted, "Eric, Look out!" 

The Sea-Witch motioned to Flotsam and Jetsam, "After him!" The prince swam up for air, still holding the harpoon gun. The eels attacked him after he broke the surface as they attempted to drag him down only to be saved when Flounder and Sebastian sprang into action. The Sea-Witch decided to end Eric personally as she aimed the trident at the prince before saying,

"Say 'Good-Bye' to your sweetheart!" But before she fired, Zap got loose and pulled Ursula's hair, freeing the others while throwing the arm holding the trident off balance. The weapon fired and instead of killing Eric, the blast from the trident killed Flotsam and Jetsam as the two eels blew to pieces. The Sea-Witch shocked not just because Zap shocked her, but at the loss of her pets as she caressed the remains of her eels, "Babies! My poor little poopsies." 

She directed her attention to Ariel, Eric and the Skylanders as they made a beeline for the surface. Those meddling Skylanders had struck a nerve when Flotsam and Jetsam died and she will get them all! Sebastian and Flounder could only watch in horror as Ursula used the trident's power to cast a spell that will make the Skylanders know how insignificant they really are. 

 As the group reached the surface, they thought that they could relax. Until Ursula rose from underneath as they were on top of her head. As she continued to rise, the eight heroes jumped back into the water as they saw what she had done to herself - she had grown giant. Thumpback even said, "Arkeyans were twice as large as she was, but this is ridiculous!" 

Gill Grunt yelled, "Eat Harpoon, Witch!" He fired his Harpoon gun at Ursula, but it just simply bounced off her body as the sea witch continued to laugh,

"YOU POOR INSOLENT FOOLS!" 

She began to use the trident's power to create a maelstrom which caused the waves to become rough, separating Ariel from Eric and the team as the giant sea-witch created a giant whirlpool which created a dry area in the middle of the sea. While trying to avoid the choppy waves, Gill realized why his shot bounced off, "Carp, her large mass protects her from small attacks!" 

Goofy asked, "How are we going to stop her in that form?!

Zap looked at a shipwreck that rose up and the prow as Donald noticed, "You have a plan, Zap?" The dragon nodded as he pointed to the ship and said, "We'll have to ram her!" 

Eric said, "The prow won't be able to punch through!" 

Wham-Shell said, "That's what we are here for." 

Gill shouted at Lotus, "Lotus, I need a couple of Lotus mines to begin construction!" 

Lotus shouted from the Ignitus, "Lotus mines are on their way!" Gill caught a couple of Lotus mines as Thumpback grabbed the the heroes and the prince and placed them on his back. Due to the whale being a Giant, he was able to not only carry six people, but he can also handle the rough waves caused by the maelstrom, but they separated from Ariel in the process. 

 When they got aboard the ship, Eric asked, "What are you six going to do?" 

Thumpback replied, "We are going to use our weapons to make a very sharp prow to stab Ursula." The Skylanders expression turned sad and Gill Grunt said, "We have to do what is necessary. We can't let Ursula cause terror in the seas. If we're going to stop her..." He shown them the detonator for the bombs, "Why not have her go out with a bang?" 

Eric understood this and ran to the wheel while Gill Grunt took his Harpoon gun and built a massive harpoon with Lotus mines, Thumpback used his anchor and chain to mount it to the prow, Zap used his Electric vest to electrify the weapon, and Wham-Shell used his mace to shape the weapon. Goofy had added his shield as a covering for the weapon while Donald used his magic to amplify the weapons to give them an extra piercing power. Now with the weapon complete, they mounted the weapon to the prow of the ship and was now on a head-on collision with Ursula. The Ship's seven-man crew stood strong as they approached the massive Sea-Witch. Gill Grunt held the detonator that could detonate the mines. 

While the crew were getting ready, Ursula had her sights on Ariel as the mermaid tried to avoid the her, the witch had used the trident to destroy a rock that she was on which made the mermaid fall into the dry area that the sea witch had created using the trident, the mermaid was in her line of sight as she fired a few shots at Ariel. Although her mobility was limited due to being on land, even if it was once water, she couldn't keep up forever. When she couldn't move anymore, Ursula stated as she raised the trident, preparing to strike her down,

"So much for TRUE LOVE!!" Ariel feared that it was over for her, for her friends, her family and the sea as a whole until Donald shouted, 

"Hey, Sea-Witch! Dodge This!" Ursula soon looked in shock to see the shipwreck closing in on her, they caught Ursula completely off guard as the wreck's modified prow pierced her large mass, they jumped ship as Gill set off the mines as several explosions went off, combined with the trident's power backfiring on Ursula. As the Sea-Witch went down with the ship, Prince Eric washed up on shore while the three Skylanders and Donald and Goofy washed up on a rock while Thumpback had crawled into the shallow water and due to exhaustion from the fight; they all collapsed.

But beneath the ocean, Gill's Harpoon gun, Wham-Shell's mace, Zap's Electric vest, Thumpback's Anchor, Goofy's Shield and King Triton's trident were in one piece descending to the bottom. As the weapons descended to the sea-floor, all the polyps transformed back to Merpeople as they left Ursula's hut and as the weapons hit the bottom near the polyp form of King Triton, the Proud Ruler of the Merpeople was restored holding his trident and the Skylanders' weapons.

 The next morning, Sebastian, King Triton and Master Eon were on the surface watching Ariel gaze at Prince Eric who was lying on the beach and the Skylanders sitting on a rock exhausted knowing that they won, but at a great cost. Sebastian said, 

"You know, your Majesty. The Skylanders have proven themselves very helpful to Ariel and her cause." 

The Sea-King agreed, "I agree Sebastian."

Master Eon sighed, "That prince has shown great dedication to her, Triton. He went out of his way to rescue both her and the Skylanders."

Triton stated, "You took the words right out of my mouth, Eon. I can see now why she loves him, if not for him or the Skylanders, the sea would have fallen into desolation and evil."

"No doubt of that outcome if not for them. As for your daughter, there comes a point where children need to be free to choose their own paths."

"Do you...have any children?"

"I have a son, a bright young man with the skills and powers for any case and gave Kaos a run for his money when he was a boy. When he reached your daughter's age, I knew that it was time for him to choose his own path, so I allowed him to continue his studies on portals."

"Where's your son now, Eon?"

"He unlocked a portal to another world where I believe he settled down there. The point behind it is that he chose his path from his heart, just as Ariel was doing as well - following her heart to her own path."

"That is an interesting point."

"Sebastian says that all the time when it comes to this."

The Sea-King looked at the crab, "You said it?"

The crab sighed, "Yes, your Majesty. I always do."

As the king thought about the choices that he made. Which he made after his wife died because of a pirate attack, but seeing his youngest daughter in love with a human who also saved him and the sea from the horror that Ursula nearly unleashed, he took the new advice from his advisor and his spirit friend and stated,

"Well, I guess that leaves one more problem."

Sebastian asked, "And what is that, your Majesty?" 

King Triton sadly replied, "How much I'm gonna miss her." 

The Sea-King, now understanding his daughter's desire used his trident on Ariel. When the trident's power hit her, she looked at her glowing tail with shock and smiled at her father as he, Sebastian and Eon smiled back. The Skylanders had also got their weapons back, courtesy of King Triton as they noticed that Eon was with the merman as well. The Team of Six turned towards the shore and saw Ariel walk out of the water wearing a sparkling light-blue dress on permanent human legs as Eric woke up and saw her as the two were reunited.

 Both land and sea gathered for the marriage of King Eric and Queen Ariel. The Team of Six, now christened as 'Champions of Atlantica' by King Triton, were also in attendance including the Skylanders on the Ignitus. Gill Grunt pulled a few strings for a few old friends to attend as he shouted, 

"GILLMAN MARINES! PRESENT ARMS!!" Gill and a squad of Gillman Marines pointed their guns in the air and fired simultaneously. To Gill Grunt, seeing his old colleagues from the corp, made him remember what the Marine Corps was supposed to be - the sword and shield of his home, just like the Skylanders. Wham-Shell wore his ceremonial breastplate made of the molted shells of former crustacean kings with his mace attached to his back, he figured that since it was a special occasion, the Shell of Kings would be perfect for him. As Ariel greeted her friends who were congratulating her, like Scuttle, who was carrying Flounder so he could be level with his friend while waving goodbye and wishing her good luck. 

Meanwhile Zap sat on top of the Wedding cake holding the statues of Ariel and Eric with a smile on his face until Chef Louie spotted him. The Chef wielded a large knife and a devious smile as he attempted to kill the Dragon but Zap fled in time before the knife cut the cake. Louie chased Zap all over the aisle until he came across a sail support, he looked at Louie who was charging like a raging bull in a bull fight or an angry Minotaur ready to pound his victim into the ground. Zap smiled in a 'come at me, bro' sort of way as he bit the rope shocking it in the process. The support fell and hit Louie square in the face causing him to lose half of his teeth and twitching as the effects of the electricity settled in before collapsing. Zap jumped on to a rope as he swung from the Wedding Ship and landed on the Ignitus and cheered, "Yes, thank you, thank you."

As the last of the Skylanders began to board the Ignitus, Gill Grunt, Wham-Shell, Donald and Goofy saw King Triton manipulate the water, so he rise up to the ship's level and hug his now-human daughter. Although they were on the boarding plank for the Ignitus, they could hear Ariel say, "I love you, Daddy." 

The Skylanders knew that things are going to be different, but no matter what happens - It's a happily ever after now. After boarding the Ignitus, the Skylanders were waving 'good-bye' to their friends and the newlyweds as they knew that it was time to go home. As humans and merpeople waved at both ships, a flash of light appeared around the Ignitus as they knew what was going to happen and when the light faded - the Ignitus was gone.

 A day after the Skylanders returned to Equestria, Master Eon was at the Portal of Power with Celestia and Luna as they studied the crystal that gave them access to various worlds where Donald and Goofy came from, starting with Atlantica. The spirit sighed,

"Much has happened, I know. The Battle for the Seas would have been terrible and the Sea-Witch would have taken complete control over the seas, had neither the prince or the Skylanders intervened."

The Sun Goddess pointed out, "Our way to their world is now open because of this crystal and thanks to the Sea-King, we know where it came from."

The Moon Goddess finished, "It came from their world and was lost for centuries until Gill Grunt found it at the bottom of Leviathan Bay."

Eon nodded as he remembered the story of the crystal, 'Poseidon's Trident' from King Triton,

 "Long ago, the Merpeople of the seas would wander out and look for interesting items or anything needed to survive. One of these gatherers was a mere merman with a desire for adventure, it was during his gathering when he stopped and spotted a young human woman being attacked by sharks. He knew that she wouldn't last long underwater with those sharks. He saved her and brought her to the surface and onto shore. This act of kindness brought the attention of both humans and merpeople as the gatherer realized that she was an advisor to the local leader of the town. He saw that the gatherer went beyond to ensure that she returned safely. It was a friendship that defined both our people in ways we didn't realize. The gatherer, curious about his actions, traveled to the temple of the Sea God, Poseidon and spoke with him about his actions. Poseidon answered him stating that the woman is not supposed to be taken by the sea and the gatherer's actions were justified. He faced down those sharks with strength, courage and compassion to save the woman for they were the virtues of a hero - a hero worthy of the gift of a god.

It is said that Poseidon had taken a piece of his own trident and bound it to a crystal, the blessing of the Sea God, symbol of friendship between the two worlds - Poseidon's Trident was born. 

The gatherer was soon became known as the hero and news of Poseidon's gift spread to both land and sea. But not all was well when the Octopids attempted to invade our people, if not for the hero and the alliance between land and sea - Atlantica would have been overrun. It wasn't until he began to experiment with Poseidon's Trident and discovered its uses as a key to different worlds as well as the ability to shapeshift into a human, allowing him to visit the home of the woman he saved, Jennifer. According to the legend, he was interested to testing the crystal's ability as a key to a gateway. He would talk about it with the humans whenever he was ashore. Jennifer had agreed that it was a curious crystal that the god of the sea gave him and many things came with it. However, he knew the dangers of testing Poseidon's Trident and decided to not go through with it. 

But he discovered that the crystal can turn humans into merpeople, so he brought Jennifer to the sea as the crystal turned her into a mermaid as they swam around the sea. As their relationship grew, the stories of the crystal have brought the attention of more undesirable merpeople. While some had wanted it for good, others wanted it for evil - a war nearly erupted for possession of the crystal and the hero's childhood friend, Fergus was jealous of his position and betrayed him. He let the octopids into Atlantica as well as the undesirables in order to claim the crystal. He had already faced human pirates that were out to claim it. But as an act of desperation, he attempted his gateway experiment, he used Poseidon's Trident to open the portal and he threw the crystal into the portal before closing it.

After he and the Atlantica guard subdued the rioters and drove the octopids out, the hero realized that all contact with the surface must be cut off. The Alliance between land and sea was dissolved and the hero lived out his years with Jennifer who decided to remain a mermaid in order to be with him. As for Poseidon's Trident, the crystal had remained lost and no one knew where it was now, the potential of its use for good and evil was a risk and the choice of sending the crystal itself through the gateway was a wise one. As I have said, Poseidon's Trident was lost, only to be heard in song and stories...until your Skylanders found it in your world." 

Eon finished as the spirit finished the tale of the crystal that had attached itself to the portal of power. Celestia looked at the crystal, "This crystal was the gift from a god and this served as the key between our world the various worlds where Donald and Goofy come from." 

Luna figured, "This crystal was an unexpected discovery and since it has bonded with the portal, it's a bizarre combination of Skylands technology and an ancient divine power." 

Eon figured, ."In this adventure in this new world, we were able to stop that Sea-Witch from usurping Triton's throne and causing chaos throughout the seas. But we also were able to bring two hearts of different two worlds of land and sea together as their love blossomed in their union."

Celestia agreed, "I agree with what we did, but the real MVPs are the 'Champions of Atlantica' they were there on the front, helping out a friend fully realize her dream to not only be on land, but to be with her true love."

Luna figured, "I believe what we have witnessed is a Friendship Report from the Skylanders."

 Meanwhile at the park in Ponyville, the CMC discovered Gill Grunt and Chop Chop writing something. Applebloom asked, "What are y'all writing?" 

Gill said, "Chop Chop and I are writing a book." 

Sweetie Belle asked, "What is it about?"

Chop Chop let Sweetie Belle sit on his lap, "It's called, 'The Little Mermaid' it tells the story of a mermaid that dreams of life on the land and soon gets her wish. She soon meets a Prince and they instantly fall in love. That's only half of the story, the rest will come when we finish it." 

Scootaloo asked, "When its finished, can you read it to our class at Ponyville Elementary?" Gill Grunt patted the Pegasus filly and said, "It will be a great pleasure to share our adventure." As the CMC left, Gill Grunt began telling Chop Chop his adventure as the undead knight wrote it in the book including Zap's two battles with Chef Louie. It wasn't until Gill's Portaltrix beeped with Goofy's voice speaking, 

"Gill Grunt, Donald and I have something to tell ya."
