Rainbow Dash is tired of having to work hard everyday. She can barely get her naps in ,when she isn't working or saving a pony's life. After a stressful day she has a conversation with Tank and an idea sparks up.
(This story isn't a clop fic and the Sex tag is explained in a comment. I will not be altering the plot to include a lot of sex nor is the sex tag supposed to indicate so.)
After a hard day of working, Rainbow Dash has a conversation with Tank. She complains about being a hard working pony and how she wishes she could be a pet like him. During the conversation her mind begins to fantasize the sweet life of an owned pony and acts on it.
When Fluttershy is being given total control of another pony's life she doesn't know how to properly deal with such a responsibility. She slowly learns that having a pony you know as a pet isn't all that great.
Rainbow Dash was so bored of having responsibilities lately, it seemed as if the world was desperately aiming for the pegasus to be put into an early retirement. She wasn't going to let herself be worked to the bone, regardless of actually not being overworked.
She had enough of being the weather manager of Ponyville, and a Wonderbolt Academy student. It was bad enough working the odd hours but to also add insult to injury, she was saving ponies with barely a thank you. She wasn't doing it for fame or fortune, it just bothered her that saving ponies was barely recognized.
As she reflected on her long day, she realized her efforts at least brought her things to look forward to like her pet. Tank was a marvelous pet and always able to help Rainbow Dash get over a bad day. "You know something Tank, you are living the good life," she tiredly commented.
Tank wasn't able to respond using words so he just blinked slowly as any tortoise would and hoped his message was correctly conveyed. He wanted to let her know that being a pet isn't all it's cut out to be and she should appreciate the life she has, unfortunately for him what she got out of it was something entirely different.
"See! I knew you agree with me... it's so easy just lounging around all day, I bet you just wait there and nap all day without anypony bothering you." She yawned into her hoof before picking the tortoise up and rubbing her muzzle on his shell.
"You know Tank some days I wish I could be somepony's pet, and I think you know whose." She placed him down and tapped his shell gently with a wink. "Anyways I am going to bed, I hope to get rid of this pet envy before I do something stupid, goodnight Tank."
Tank had been worried she might actually do something ridiculous. He was glad she wasn’t going to give up everything she had achieved in pursuit of lazy days. It was something he hoped never came up again in conversation, his inability to talk was proving to be a hindrance to his life.
Fluttershy was slowly waking to the light of the beautiful sun. She was peacefully rising from slumber having had a good night’s rest. She carefully got off her bed to begin another day of taking care of her critters. She had always been blessed by the number of animals that filled her heart and home. Her cutie mark had determined she was destined to take care of animals, with her connection to the animals it wasn't too difficult a task.
She was starting her day as usual with a nice bath, it was always her time alone to just relax and spend some time taking care of herself. She cleansed herself and scrubbed where she could allowing the water to do it's job. She finished cleaning herself and began drying off. She got as dried as she needed to be before heading to her mirror with a brush. She was slowly brushing her mane, making herself look presentable. She did so for any potential visitors, and because she sometimes left her cottage to get supplies for her animals.
Then she continued her morning with some breakfast as usual and then suddenly heard a knock on her door that ruined her morning routine. She didn't expect any visitors so she was hesitant to open it. "Who... who's there," she timidly asked.
Rainbow Dash knocked on Fluttershy's door, "Fluttershy come on it's me, open up," she called out to her timid friend. She waited until the door finally opened before stepping inside her soon to be new home.
She thought a lot about being a pet after talking with Tank. She tried sleeping but without any rest the thoughts had plagued her mind and eventually she began fantasizing being a pet to a pony. She thought about how lax she could be if she didn't have to lift a hoof to get anything she wanted. She knew the only pony could take care of a mare like her was Fluttershy.
The morning she woke up did her job and went to the head office to request a month off. She was going to use all the vacation time she had racked up over the years and spend them on this month. She was only going to become a pet temporarily since she knew being a pet forever wouldn't be favorable to her friend.
She already took care of bills and brought Tank with her to Fluttershy's house to make sure he got taken care of as well. "Hey Shy, do you have a minute so we can talk?"
Fluttershy nodded and smiled, "Oh yes Dashie, I don't mind talking to you. What can I do you for?" she gently asked. Fluttershy watched Rainbow Dash walk to the couch and plop herself on it much to the chagrin of Angel Bunny.
Rainbow Dash splayed herself on the couch and yawned, "Well Shy I need a favor from you, and it requires you to keep an open mind."
Fluttershy was hesitant to reply, "oh... okay."
Rainbow Dash yawned before getting to the question at hand, "Well, I kinda need you to be ... my owner... as in... I want to know what it's like to be a pet and I figure since you take care of animals that ... it wouldn't be hard for you to take in one more... so... will you let me be your pet Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy blushed and looked away. Calm down Fluttershy I am sure she is just playing a prank on you, no way would Rainbow Dash want to be a pet, let alone your pet. "Ha ha, you got me good Dashie," she nervously replied.
Rainbow Dash looked Fluttershy with a serious look, "Shy I really mean it, I want to be your pet for a whole month. I was hoping you would accept but if you rather I go elsewhere?" She began getting off the couch until she was stopped.
"It's fine," Fluttershy said, "I just didn't expect you to want to be a pet... you are always flying off and being free, are you sure you want to be my pet Dashie?"
Rainbow Dash smiled, "No other pony I would place my life with, I have known you since we were fillies and I know you are the best mare to be my owner for a month. It's going to be nice I will nap all day and you can give me belly rubs... and I can get an annoying pet name you can call me."
Fluttershy smiled and said the first thing that came to mind, "I will call you Snuggles."
Rainbow Dash chuckled, "See you are getting the hang of it, but seriously don't call me Snuggles."
Fluttershy put on a serious face, "if you want to be my pet Dashie then you will accept the name Snuggles. I like the name and since you are my pet I will make full use of it."
Rainbow Dash was going to return home and forget the whole ordeal until she felt a leash being put on her. "Shy? What is this thing?"
Fluttershy tightened the leash and tugged it, "It's a leash, since you are a bigger pet I need to secure you during our walks so you don't cause trouble."
Rainbow Dash was nervous about the entire thing but felt Shy was just teasing, "Aha you got me Shy, good one... now can you take the leash off I was going to nap."
Fluttershy smiled and took off the leash having her bit of fun, "Alright go nap, and maybe you will wake up not wanting to be a pet Dashie."
Rainbow Dash ignored her and went off to the couch just wanting to relax. "I tell you what, I am due for a big bonus soon if you take good care of me Shy, I will get you anything you want for putting up with me."
Fluttershy was going to protest being paid but saw her pet already sleeping on her couch. "Oh... I can't believe this is happening, Rainbow Dash is actually my pet," she quietly spoke. She decided it would best serve her time to acclimate to this new situation. She knew it would be a good start to get the necessary supplies needed to best take care of an exotic pet. Since owning pony's isn't legal, she would have to do her best to get items that would best help her take good care of Rainbow Dash.
Angel Bunny saw his owner leave and got pissed off that his couch was being used by the sleepy rainbow maned wannabe pet. He was the only pet in Fluttershy's life and he wanted to remain being the top animal in her heart. He wasn't enthused about the idea of Rainbow Dash trying to steal his owner's attention.
He noticed Tank was just minding his own business, seemingly alright about this new transition. He rushed towards Tank and tried communicating with him. The first attempt at communication went alright but the translations between bunny language and tortoise language was not perfect.
He told him in bunny language, "Listen, I don't know what you told her about being a pet and I don't care really but I want her gone."
Tank made a slow noise that could be considered a chuckle, "Well I don't like this idea either, and I told her not to do this."
Angel Bunny wasn't in the mood for his couch being taken, "Can we at least get her off the couch?"
Tank slowly shook his head in protest, "She gets crankier than you Angel... you won't like it when she is cranky."
Angel Bunny crossed his arms in anger. He decided that the stupid tortoise had a point, and it wasn't worth getting potentially yelled at. He already had faced off against Discord for that couch before with negative results and didn't feel like pushing his luck.
Fluttershy was shopping around looking for brushes, collars, and other artifacts that was meant for pet handling. When she was finished spending her bits and getting what she needed she went off back to her home to check on her new pet. I can't believe I am already thinking of her as a pet, I need to remember that Rainbow Dash is just probably going through a phase or being silly, there is no way she is going to actually be my pet ... so why did I buy all these things?
While she was deep in thought, she walked right into another pony and caused the contents of her saddlebag to spill out. "Oh I am sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going," she profusely apologized. She was picking up her recently purchased items as the pony she ran into became curious.
"Fluttershy, did you recently get a new pet?" Twilight gently inquired.
"Twilight! I umm' I no," Fluttershy quietly stammered.
Twilight, confused by the answer, responded," What was that?"
Fluttershy couldn't possibly explain her situation to Twilight without it being weird, "Well... you see...I got a new pet, and I named it Snuggles, so I can't have guests over for awhile because I need her to get settled into her new environment," she half-lied.
Twilight gave a confused look, "So what kind of animal is Snuggles?"
Fluttershy froze and shook in terror. She was going to be exposed if she had to answer the question and lucky for her Spike showed up to distract Twilight with something.
Spike was going on about something, it was the distraction needed. He was complaining about the Cutie Mark Crusaders bringing him along to a day of crusading. In hopes of gaining their cutie mark they eagerly did some dangerous tasks, and almost got Spike injured because of it, "So I almost got eaten by a manticore and they complain that they didn't gain their cutie marks."
Fluttershy had ran off while Twilight was distracted and rushed home avoiding any other ponies who may want to interact with her. She had a situation to handle that was already causing her problems.
Rainbow Dash began waking from her nap and felt like a million bits, not having any responsibilities. She looked at the ground and saw what appeared to be Tank and Angel Bunny getting into an intense argument of some sort, she merely shrugged it off as it wasn't her problem of the moment. She wasn't abandoning Tank in any form just didn't feel he needed her protection from a wimpy rabbit.
Just as she was getting off the couch, she heard the door open and instincts kicked in. She flared her wings and appeared intimidating, until she noticed it was just Fluttershy returning home. "Whoa Shy, sorry... I was just alerted," She embarrassingly explained.
Fluttershy saw Rainbow’s wings flared out and was impressed by the display, "I can't believe how defensive you are, like a real pet, which brings me to question... is this really for real? Are you really my pet?"
Rainbow Dash put her wings to the side and blushed, "Shy... I ... it's for real I want to be your pet... if it's too much I can just go."
Fluttershy quickly responded with, "No! I just... spend real bits getting some stuff for you and I just was hoping it wasn't for nothing."
Rainbow Dash felt guilty, "Shy let me pay you back for the stuff, I didn't mean for you to buy me things already."
Fluttershy chuckled, "It's okay, I just want you to know that if you are going to be my pet, we will have to go over some rules."
Rainbow Dash cringed at the word rules, "Rules... what kind of rules?"
Applejack was looking up at the sky admiring the handiwork of Celestia, who providing the sun, and Rainbow Dash, who made the weather perfect. All the farmers in ponyville depended on the sun and great weather, for good harvests and crop yields. If it wasn't for the effort of the two amazing ponies an agricultural collapse would occur, in Ponyville at least.
While admiring the perfect weather she noticed that her best friend and physical rival, Rainbow Dash, wasn't in the sky zooming around. She began searching her trees and other various napping spots that Rainbow Dash would usually occupy gaining not a single sighting of the pegasus. "Where is that feather brain?" she angrily yelled.
Rainbow Dash, who was in mid conversation with Fluttershy, was still trying to comprehend the possibilities of limitations that would be placed by Shy. "So what kind of rules we talking about?" she asked.
Fluttershy wasn't prepared, "Well umm... I know rule number one while you are my pet you must adhere to my rules."
Rainbow Dash chuckled, "Alright Shy, that is pretty obvious, how about rules I don't know about?"
Fluttershy blushed, "Oh ok, well... while you are my pet, I am allowed to call you Snuggles anytime I want."
Rainbow Dash cringed, "Anytime?"
Fluttershy nodded without hesitation, she was going to test Rainbow Dash's limits.
"What about when we are in a public setting?" Rainbow Dash nervously asked.
Fluttershy smiled, "Yes, even in public and possibly while with friends."
Rainbow Dash was having a mental battle in her head, eventually one side won out and she accepted her fate. "Alright... if you must then I will accept it."
Fluttershy showed visible signs of shock but quickly shook it away, "Alright the next thing you need to know is, if you are truly serious about being my pet... I have to ... be the one who takes care of all your needs..." she hesitantly stammered.
Rainbow Dash quizzically looked at her friend before inquiring, "What does that exactly entail Shy?"
"Well it means, I will be the one who feeds you, bathes you, give you a home to stay in, makes sure you exercise enough,, all the stuff I usually do for Angel Bunny," Fluttershy uneasily explained.
Rainbow Dash began thinking of scenarios and how embarrassing it would be if anypony found out. She was beginning to think being a pet wasn't a good idea. "Well... that is a lot to think about, I guess I should have waited before springing this on you," She apologetically replied.
Fluttershy smiled, it was her victory over Rainbow Dash's silly idea. "Well-" She began saying before being cut off.
"Hey, I will obey any rule you have if you can answer this for me... will there be belly rubs and other benefits of being a regular pet?" Rainbow Dash asked with a small blush.
Fluttershy was becoming unsettled by how serious the situation was becoming with each passing minute, "Dashie... this joke isn't funny anymore... why are you dead set on becoming my pet?"
Rainbow Dash walked close to her friend and nuzzled her, "Shy... I am going to level with you. I haven't been happy for a long time and I am sick of having to work my flank off each day when I should have already been a Wonderbolt. I just... I just want to be happy and being a pet seems like it's the right way to go."
Fluttershy sighed, "Alright Dashie, if it will make you happy I will officially accept you as my pet. From now on though I will be calling you snuggles, and you have to wear this." Fluttershy pulled a collar out of her bag and showed it to Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash looked at it carefully and saw the little tag that hung underneath that had her 'name' on it. "Snuggles... if found please return to Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash eyed her friend with mixed emotions. "You seriously expect me to wear this Shy?" she angrily asked.
"Well yes, you aren't trained yet I can't risk losing you... I can't treat you like a pony who is capable of doing things on her own since you are my new pet... I have to train you to do things before I am comfortable with you not wearing that..." Fluttershy had looked away unable to meet her friend's gaze.
"I see... so we are doing it this way, eh? Well... I guess there is no going back, you better give the best dang belly rubs for this." Rainbow Dash put the collar on and started posing with it. "How do I look?"
Twilight couldn't let her curiosity go, and since that encounter, she had been constantly thinking about Fluttershy's new pet. She had no clue as to what kind of creature it was, and why it would need so much time to acclimate to their new environment. She decided to investigate secretly. "Hey Spike I am going out for a while, I will be back by dinner time." She called out before heading out.
She waited didn't wait for Spike to respond as he was busy sorting books and probably didn't hear her. She just hoped there would be dinner upon her return, and that Spike kept out of trouble. She went to the one place where gossip would be definitely available and info about Fluttershy would be easy to acquire.
Rarity was busy working on a dress for a client that needed it for some reunion. She was diligently stitching and sewing like the expert dressmaker she was. Usually she would have a guest in the form of a baby dragon, luckily for her he was kept busy so she could focus on making this important dress.
"Where is Spike anyways? He seems to either have gotten over his crush or moved on to my sister..." Rarity decided to let the issue go since it wasn't important to the process of making a dress. She heard a knocking sound that broke her mental stupor and made her aware of a potential customer.
Rarity quickly made sure her appearance was glorious before opening the door to her room only to find Twilight Sparkle looking at her with a sheepish smile. "Oh Twilight, what can I do for you darling?"
Twilight oblivious to her friend's mood began to speak. "So... you know Fluttershy very well, and you would know if something was up right?"
Rarity stopped caring about the dress and became interested in Twilight's words, "I do know Fluttershy well, we talk a lot during our spa trips why?"
Twilight pawed at the ground and spoke softly, "Well... it seems Fluttershy has a new pet and for some reason I want to know what it is."
Rarity chuckled, "Darling if you want to know what it is why don't you ask her? I personally haven't heard of any pet so this must be some stray animal she found, you know her, she is that kind of mare."
Twilight sighed, "that's just it, I already asked her and she refused to answer, heck she bolted when Spike distracted me."
Rarity was intrigued and her drama sense was tingling, "I have a grand idea... let's go to her cottage and take a look around and find out what this new pet is?"
Twilight pressed her hooves together in nervousness, "well about that... it seems the pet needs to be isolated from us for a month until she can get it properly accustomed to it's new environment. I don't want to potentially upset some dangerous creature and risk hurting Fluttershy in the process."
Rarity thought about it carefully, "Well... I could always ask her about it tomorrow when we go to the spa."
Twilight got excited, "Thanks! then I can stop worrying about something hideous trying to murder our friend. Speaking of friends, you wouldn't have happened to see Rainbow Dash have you?"
"Not really but look in the sky she is always whooshing around in such a dazzling way, she should really charge for her performance... if I could just get her to wear an outfit made by moi it would be 'awesome' advertising," she deviously responded.
"Oh... okay, anyways I just got a new daring do book and was hoping to read it with her," Twilight sheepishly admitted.
Rarity used this opportunity to ask a question of her own, "Twilight, what happened to Spikey Wikey, he hardly comes by anymore and I grown accustomed to his help."
Twilight chuckled, "Oh that... well it's a good news, bad news scenario here, which one would you like to hear first?"
Fluttershy, who was rubbing Rainbow Dash's belly tenderly, was getting frustrated. "Shoot! I can't find that spot."
Rainbow Dash had a goofy grin on her face and was enjoying the soothing rub, "what spot Shy?"
"Your ticklish spot, I wanted to tickle you," Fluttershy grumbled bitterly.
"Oh that, Shy... you know that was when I was a filly and my body was more compact, I have grown so keep searching for it or something." Rainbow Dash was shamelessly sprawled on the floor while being caressed by her new owner.
Angel Bunny was jealously watching Fluttershy give that rainbow maned intruder a belly rub. He was furious with how easy it was for the new pet to secure herself a home and steal his owner/mother's attention away. He spoke in bunny language lowly, "You know this means war."
Tank was hoping that Angel would learn to accept the changes, it would be foolish to piss off a pony as volatile as Rainbow Dash. He had seen Rainbow Dash drunk once, and an argument with a mirror later, the entire house was in disarray. He just watched the current scene with a soft smile on his face.
Fluttershy kept rubbing different areas of the other mare's belly until she had found success, "Aha, take that Snuggles... you shall beg me to stop."
Rainbow Dash was chuckling loudly, her sensitive spot being rubbed was triggering her to laugh. She kept guffawing and laughing, while trying to protest with words. "Shy! it tickles! this is too much stop," she said in between laughter.
Fluttershy was chuckling, "this is fun... hey Snuggles... we have some time before I get dinner started... so lets snuggle..." she hesitantly stammered. She slowly removed her hoof from her pet’s stomach area.
Rainbow Dash got up from the floor and whispered "Lead the way," before following Shy to her room so they could snuggle in private. They used to snuggle as fillies, and would do so in privacy since the world would judge them or assume things. She wasn't going to tell anypony about her secret love of snuggling. She was too cool to admit something so lame.
Pinkie Pie had been searching for Rainbow Dash, so they could go pranking. She enjoyed her outings with the cyan pegasus and loved laughing about the pranks they pulled. She had finally some time off work and wanted to spend it bringing laughter to others by way of pranks.
Just as she began her search she noticed another pony who seemed to be on the hunt for Rainbow Dash. "Hey Applejack, what you doing?"
Applejack smiled at the sight of a friend, "I was jus' looking for Rainbow Dash. Ya haven't seen her have ya, sugar cube?"
Pinkie Pie frowned, "No... I wanted to go pranking with her today and I can't find her anywhere. I checked her house, the clouds, the library, and even the moon!" She exclaimed.
Applejack chuckled softly, "Well I ain't got any luck lookin’ either, I checked the trees on my farm, that she has been seen nappin' on, and I even checked the trees in the park. I'm plum pickin' tired of lookin' for her. Where could that feather brain be?"
Fluttershy was in awe of her day so far. She was sure that this was just a strange dream and when she finally woke up from it, and the world would go back to normal. When that happened she wouldn't be in the forelegs of her new pet, being snuggled intimately and enjoying it so much.
She remembered snuggling sessions as a filly and it had no comparison to how great it felt as mares. She was glad that she had this delirious dream because she was allowed a moment of reliving her youth. She did note that her dream was very realistic and prolonged, and that made her worry. "Snuggles..." she called out hesitantly.
Rainbow Dash chuckled, "Yeah Shy?" She was too comfortable to care about the annoying pet name.
"Why me? You could have your pick of anypony, who would definitely want you as a pet, so why me?" She sadly asked.
Rainbow Dash held her closer, "because you are the pony I can trust not to abuse the power, if anypony can handle the authority over me and not lose themselves, it would be you Shy."
Fluttershy never responded to that sentiment and just continued enjoying the moment. In her mind thoughts began to develop about what potentially Rainbow Dash meant by those words. She was thinking about it as her eyes closed, she started napping and fell into a dream...
Fluttershy was sitting on a throne contemplating her life with her lovely pet. She was wearing a faux-leather corset and had stockings on her hind legs, she dressed in a seductive manner to empower her as a mare. She was resting her hind legs on Rainbow Dash's frame, and drinking some wine to relax for the evening.
"Snuggles," she gently called out.
"Yes... Mistress," Rainbow Dash slowly replied.
"I want you to know I am glad you came to be my pet," Fluttershy lovingly stated.
"I love being your pet, Mistress... I am happy serving you," Rainbow Dash replied with hesitance.
"Good because I love taking good care of you... especially when you are a good little pet for me," Fluttershy whispered.
Rainbow Dash knew what this meant, but wasn't going to fight the amorous owner off anymore, "I shall always be a good pet for you Mistress." She moved herself when Fluttershy had removed her hind legs off her back. She got into position and began kissing her way up Fluttershy's body and reached her lips.
Fluttershy was thrilled and captured Rainbow Dash in a passionate kiss while using her dominance to slide her tongue inside her pet's mouth. "You belong to me Snuggles, and only me ... forever."
Rainbow Dash was going to respond until she heard the door to the throne room break down.
"She ain't your property Fluttershy!" Applejack angrily yelled. She was trying so hard to find the lair of Fluttershy to rescue Rainbow Dash from the evil mare.
"Applejack, I should have known... you of all ponies would want my Snuggles," Fluttershy yelled out while pushing her pet to the side.
Applejack snorted in anger and got closer, "I love Rainbow Dash, and I won't let ya keep her like that. She ain't your toy, and I won't be leaving without her."
Fluttershy chuckled wickedly, "I knew you were into Snuggles, the way you would always try to rile her up into physical challenges... luckily for me I was able to snag her before she got the hint."
Applejack's voice grew menacingly, "I swear if you touched her-"
"Touch her... oh my... you don't know? I already took her," Fluttershy lustfully stated.
Applejack grew angry and tackled Fluttershy off the throne and pinned her, "I should kill ya... ya took a great pony like Rainbow Dash and enslaved her... how could ya Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy smiled, "I did it because I love her, and I knew she was going to leave me eventually... I had to make sure she stayed...and look at this, she did stay... and she obeys my every command."
Applejack grew angrier, "How dare ya do somethin' that evil and smile about it, you changed sugarcube... anyways I'm goin’ to take Rainbow Dash outta here, you... jus' better leave town or somethin'."
Fluttershy growled, "Rainbow Dash get her off me and send her packing."
Rainbow Dash was so far gone that she obeyed without question. She began attacking Applejack and with her superior strength and speed was able to subdue the invading pony easily. "Leave Applejack... I am not worth saving anymore," Rainbow Dash whispered with the last bit of clarity and self control she had.
Applejack cried in failure and ran off into the night unable to look back and see her friend being taken by an evil mare.
Fluttershy smiled, "Good girl Snuggles, now come here and lets continue what we started before the interruption."
Rainbow Dash silently cursed herself and continued towards her owner with as much 'love' she could muster. She got close and looked at Fluttershy with the empty eyes she had.
Fluttershy was shocked at the empty expression behind the eyes of her pet, "What happened to you Snuggles..."
Fluttershy woke up breathing heavily, her heart racing, and her body drenched in sweat. "What... just happened?" She was disoriented and wasn't able to fully grasp her situation. She slowly regained consciousness and noticed, she was alone on her bed and, it was a dream she had waken up from.
"So Dashie... wasn't my pet after all... it was all some crazy dream... so why am I sleeping when it's time for dinner?" She asked no pony in particular. She got off her bed and looked herself in the mirror. She quickly brushed her mane and went downstairs to start making herself something to eat.
She felt sad as she walked down the stairs, it was a great dream in the beginning with having Rainbow Dash around. She sighed at the reality of being alone. "Wait... it's a good thing I don't own my friend... that would be ..." She stopped speaking when she noticed there was a mess in her living room and noises coming from the kitchen.
Rainbow Dash was currently chasing the pain in the flank bunny, Angel Bunny, around the house. She had seen Fluttershy drift off to sleep and watched her resting for a bit until it became creepy. Since she was now officially a pet she had no idea what to do with her free time.
She began contemplating leaving, and hanging out with her friends, until she realized that leaving without permission could be penalized later on. She was going to wake Fluttershy up but she looked so peaceful sleeping, it would have been a shame to ruin it.
She was beginning to feel caged and got irritable. She was so angry that anything could set her off, and that is how the current situation came to be.
Angel Bunny was already pissed off about Fluttershy's lack of attention towards him. He wanted to end the pet/owner relationship between the two mares and began thinking of ways to do so.
He decided to piss off Rainbow Dash by tossing various things at her until she would react with enough rage to chase him. He was lucky he had enough things to hide behind but didn't expect her to keep destroying things or knocking them over to get at him. He found a small enough space to squeeze into and watched her hoof try sliding in after him.
"Come on out you little piece of-" Rainbow Dash was going to utter a foul word until she heard a gasp. She turned around and saw Fluttershy looking at her with anger brimming from the usually timid mare's eyes.
Fluttershy was very angry, "Snuggles, how dare you attack my poor little Angel Bunny? Also if you made that mess you’re in big trouble."
Rainbow Dash looked down, "I... he started it!"
Fluttershy got dangerously close, "You think that makes it any better? You're actions have caused a huge mess and you ... almost hurt my little bunny... now what do you have to say for yourself?"
Rainbow Dash couldn't figure out why she was feeling so bad about this, "I am ... sorry..."
Fluttershy patted her on the head, "Good girl now apologize to Angel Bunny and clean up the mess you made."
Rainbow Dash snapped, "No!"
Fluttershy was a bit scared, "I ... said you will apologize to Angel Bunny and you will clean that mess... or I will discipline you."
Rainbow Dash laughed, "Discipline... please... you don't have enough moxie to discipline that little menace, so how can you discipline me?"
Fluttershy remembered her assertive lessons and had enough back talk, "You listen here Snuggles! you will behave, or I will discipline you... Angel Bunny doesn't know any better but you sure do... now I want you to apologize to Angel Bunny and clean the mess you made or you won't get any dinner."
Rainbow Dash was taken aback by Fluttershy's attitude, "Fine if that is how you want to play... I just won't eat dinner... I rather starve to death then allow that little terror to get his way." She made the mistake of turning around and walking off.
Fluttershy grew angry and tackled Rainbow Dash to the ground and latched on to her ear. She held it between her teeth and tugged on it roughly.
"Owww' Fluttershy what the hay," Rainbow Dash growled in anger.
Fluttershy felt superior and enjoyed it a bit, "I will bite your ear if you keep misbehaving... got it? You are my pet Snuggles, and if I have to give you tough love then I will."
Rainbow Dash was going to retaliate until they heard a loud knocking sound at the door. "Oh crap... what now?" she asked afraid.
Fluttershy let go of the ear and licked it softly, "We will deal with this later, for now I will find out who's at the door and see what they want. While I do that, you will behave and go upstairs into my room, in time out, until I come get you... got it?"
Rainbow Dash nodded and was let off as she heard another round of knocks and two voices that sounded familiar trying to get Shy's attention.
Pinkie Pie and Applejack were concluding their search at Fluttershy's cottage, they tried searching high and low for the rainbow maned speedster.
They heard some noises and what sounded like something moving really fast behind the door, and then the sound of the door unlocking. When the door opened they were greeted with a flustered Fluttershy. "Ummm' can I help you girls?"
Applejack was curious about what just happened behind the door, she was hoping that Fluttershy wasn't doing anything inappropriate with a stallion since Big Mac was into her and it would break his heart. Pinkie Pie didn't care about the noise as much as she did Rainbow Dash's location and she quickly spoke up, "Hey is Dashie around? We can't find her anywhere and we looked all over Ponyville for her."
Fluttershy nervously chuckled, "ummm' no I haven't seen her at all actually... I have been busy today taking care of my new pet Snuggles... she is a hassle and needs to be supervised."
Applejack sighed in relief, "So that's what all that noise was about, for a minute I thought ya had some stallion in there with ya."
Pinkie Pie sniffed Fluttershy and looked at her curiously, "Why do you smell like Dashie then?"
Fluttershy's heart beat became rapid, nervousness had crept in at the thought of being caught. "Well you see, Snuggles has been bathed recently, and I had to use a shampoo that Rainbow Dash uses... I didn't even notice it was a shampoo for ponies until poor Snuggles was all shiny and smelt like Dashie," She expertly lied.
Angel Bunny decided now was the time to make himself known and try to end the charade, he needed Rainbow Dash gone and his spot as top pet back. He tried reaching out to them, and signaled that Rainbow Dash was there, but he was being ignored by the mares that were too busy with their thoughts to notice him.
Tank was trying to drag angel away so he could be stopped from possibly ruining everything for both mares. His attempts were successful since Angel Bunny was too tired from being chased by Rainbow Dash to even fight back.
Applejack looked really sad, "listen sugar cube, if ya see that lazy pegasus let her know I was lookin' for her."
Fluttershy remembered her dream at this point and grew jealous for some reason, "Oh... I just remembered something... Dashie said she was going on vacation for a while, she invited me to come along but I had to decline since I have to take care of Snuggles."
Pinkie Pie and Applejack both felt the sting of jealousy for not being even told about the trip let alone invited. Pinkie Pie was really angry and curious, "Who the heck is Snuggles?"
Fluttershy smiled, "She is my new pet and she is a feisty one."
Pinkie Pie pressed on, "What kind of animal is it?"
Fluttershy looked around nervously, "Um’... well she is a ... oh no! look at the time, I need to get dinner started." Fluttershy closed the door as politely as she could. She hoped they would just leave and not knock again, she couldn't handle the pressure of lying.
Applejack stared in disbelief at the door, that had just been unceremoniously shut, in front of her. "Whoa Nelly, somethin' tells me she is hidin' things from us."
Pinkie Pie nodded, "this is unusual for Fluttershy to be this nervous, and to blatantly lie to us... I wonder what's going on. I just hope wherever Dashie is that she is safe and sound."
The two ponies walked off and separated for dinner. Applejack went back to Sweet Apple Acres, and Pinkie to Sugar Cube Corner. Each pony knew Fluttershy was hiding something and both wanted to know where Rainbow Dash was. Little did they know that Rainbow Dash was being slowly dominated by Fluttershy.
Fluttershy waited till they had left before she rushed to her room. She had intent to finish what she started earlier and was going to enforce her rules with her tough love. When she got to the door she found it was open and saw Rainbow Dash looking at her with anger.
"How dare you... I get you wanted to explain my absence but to say I would leave everyone behind and not say goodbye, plus I heard you... you threw in that I invited you on my vacation just to piss off Applejack... what do you got against her anyways?" Rainbow Dash asked infuriated.
Fluttershy smiled, "Oh Snuggles, you look so adorable when you are angry. Now where were we?" She tackled Rainbow Dash again and clamped her ear gently.
"Hey Shy... stop I am trying to talk to you... this... is distracting," Rainbow Dash admitted.
"Shh' now settle down for me Snuggles, I know you are upset but you know I was panicking. I had no choice but to make something up... or would you rather I told them I have been disciplining you?" Fluttershy asked. She was chewing roughly on the ear hoping to end the argument.
"Oww' fine... you win alright? You did the right thing and I guess you did panic... anyways I will clean up the mess but I won't apologize to Angel Bunny... I hope that is enough for at least some dinner." Rainbow Dash was hungry but still wouldn't let her pride go. She wasn't going to apologize to the little menace and wasn't going to be forced to either.
Fluttershy felt it was satisfactory and let go of the ear and licked it, "Okay, you can get dinner but no dessert until you apologize."
Rainbow Dash oddly wanted her ear chewed more, it was kinda relaxing. "Well fine I didn't want dessert anyways."
Fluttershy got a good look at Rainbow Dash and made a face, "You got all dirty... I bet it was from running around and smashing things... anyways I am going to have to give you a bath after dinner, any objections to that?"
Rainbow Dash nervously chuckled, "Well... no I guess, I have no objections... so after dinner bath got it."
"Alright, then come with me down stairs so I can keep an eye on you, while I make us something to eat... you bad girl," Fluttershy commanded.
Rainbow Dash watched Fluttershy walk away before following her, What the hell have I gotten myself into?
Fluttershy was busy preparing dinner for the various animals she takes care of, meanwhile she was making dinner for Rainbow Dash and herself to enjoy. "She better like it, because I am working hard to make it extra tasty," she silently demanded. She knew that Rainbow Dash had a habit of eating junk food, or unhealthy stuff, instead of a good wholesome meal. She wanted to change that to maintain Rainbow Dash's athletically built body and great immune system.
She really cared for the well being of her new pet, it was something that had been prevalent before the current situation. She decided to take a quick break and sneak a peek at her pet on the couch arguing with her bunny, it was really cute when they weren't physically fighting. She knew though eventually Rainbow Dash would need to take to the air and felt she could allow it if she went with her.
The Apple family, who were eating dinner, was having a conversation about the only male in the immediate family. Applejack was getting angry at his hesitance about making a move on Fluttershy. "Listen here brother, she ain't goin' ta wait forever, Fluttershy is a pretty mare and one day some stallion is goin' ta make a move on her," Applejack gently informed.
Big Mac was afraid of rejection and he was too busy with the farm to even begin dating, "Well sis, it's jus' how can I properly court her if I'm always busy with the farm?"
Applejack chuckled, "Oh no, don't ya use that excuse big brother. I work on the farm jus' as hard as ya, and I make time to spend with my friends."
Apple Bloom decided to chime in with, "Yeah ain't no reason ta be afraid, Fluttershy would be stupid ta reject ya. I mean yer the best lookin' stallion in Ponyville and the kindest one too."
Granny Smith just watched the siblings argue and wondered how it would be if their parents were still around. Big Mac would have had a father figure to help him through life, she missed her children terribly but was blessed with her grandkids being healthy and somewhat happy.
Applejack decided on a strategy to help her brother make a move without being too blunt about it, "hey Big Mac, I got's me a plan. Ya see if ya deliver the apples tomorrow for the critters to eat then ya can have an excuse ta talk ta her."
Big Mac thought about it for a second and gently said, "Eeyup."
Rarity was at a restaurant with Spike having a peaceful dinner. She decided to invite him out after the information Twilight relayed to her at the boutique. "So Spike, is it true what Twilight told me?"
Spike knew this was coming, it would be a matter of time that Rarity found out, "Depends on what Twilight told you."
Rarity was miffed by his coyness, "Don't be coy with me! You know exactly what I am talking about... is it true?"
Spike chuckled, "I didn't think it would bother you this much, but yeah it's true."
Rarity shed a tear, "How could this happen!"
Spike waved his hands in front of her, "Let's not make a scene Rarity, it just happened."
Rarity began crying softly, "Does this mean you won't be my Spikey Wikey anymore? Will you stop hanging out with me as much?"
Spike sighed, "I think it would be for the best if we didn't hang out so much. Plus can't you just sucker another creature into doing your bidding based on a crush that wouldn't go anywhere?"
Rarity stopped her fake tears and smiled, "Why yes, I could, just what kind of animal would be stupid enough to fall in love with a mare like me? Present company excluded of course."
Spike winced, "Yeah... anyways I hear Fluttershy has a new pet, you think it's a dragon?"
Rarity took a sip of her wine while looking at him, "I don't know but it wouldn't be out of the question. What I do know is that she calls it Snuggles, and apparently, according to Twilight, it needs a lot of attention. Why you already thinking of finding something new?"
Spike blushed, "Yeah... I mean I have to move on right? I wouldn't feel right with your sister because that could get awkward for everyone. I know for a fact Scootaloo is a mini Dash, and that means mares only. Apple Bloom is related to Big Mac and I rather not get on his bad side... so I really have no one to be with."
Rarity chuckled, "You are so silly Spike, there are many fillies in this town, also if there is a dragon lady I am sure you would be able to win her over. I think you are a charming dragon, and honestly any girl would be lucky to have you. Just not me, because I don't do scales, darling."
Spike continued eating his dinner while casually glancing around, "Hey Rarity, if I was a stallion and about your age would you have been able to love me?"
Rarity finished her wine and looked into Spike's eyes, "Spike, I don't know how to answer that. I can't give you an answer to that question because I don't know. You understand there are so many variables attached to that question... just know this. I think you are the sweetest dragon I have ever met."
Spike smiled a bit, "Thanks Rarity, for finally being honest with me, and for inviting me to dinner. I won't lie I always wanted to have a date with you... just can't believe it happened after I stopped loving you in that way."
Rarity smiled, "Anything for a friend Spike, you know you will always be my friend right?"
Spike laughed, "Duh, I would never give up our friendship... just... never mind."
Twilight surprised to have dinner with a friend, that wasn't her scaly assistant, it was something new for her and she was enjoying it. "I can't thank you enough for inviting me to have dinner Pinkie... I just hope everything is going alright with Spike."
Pinkie smiled, "Silly Twilight, you don't have to thank me for taking you out to eat... you need this. I always see you locked away in that library doing Celestia knows what, and poor Spike needed this day too. He always seems attached to either your hip or Rarity's."
Twilight chuckled, "Well now that he is over Rarity it's usually my hip he is attached to. If he isn't attached to my hip then he is going around making new friends. I like the fact he is able to find ponies his age to hang out with since I have been even more swamped with royal nonsense."
Pinkie sighed, "I just wished that things didn't have to change too much, I like how things are and new things can be scary. Like with Rainbow Dash, and her sudden disappearance, and Fluttershy, with her mysterious new pet, I mean what is she hiding from us?"
Twilight ate a piece of her sandwich that Pinkie bought, "Rainbow Dash disappeared?"
Pinkie Pie started frowning, "Yeah... according to Fluttershy, who was being a meanie pants, Rainbow Dash just left and didn't tell anypony."
Twilight gasped, "I think I know what's really going on. Pinkie isn't it obvious? Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy had a huge fight, and when things got serious Rainbow Dash left to avoid hurting Fluttershy, and that made Fluttershy buy a pet and feed it all her attention."
Pinkie grew angry, "So it's Fluttershy's fault that Dashie is gone? What did that meanie pants do to Dashie?"
Twilight quickly interjected, "Wait ... how do you know it's not the other way around? We don't know what happened, we will just have to talk to Fluttershy when we can. So do you know how long Rainbow Dash will be gone?"
Pinkie Pie frowned again, "Not really... but if we could find out what really happened, maybe Fluttershy could tell us where Dashie is and we can get her back!"
Fluttershy was having her dinner with Snuggles, as she affectionately referred to her as. Even though Rainbow Dash had only been her pet for less than a day, Fluttershy really took hold of her new role as an owner. "Snuggles, be a good girl for me and eat your food," Fluttershy gently commanded.
"No!" Rainbow Dash grumpily replied.
"Why not? I thought you loved my cooking," Fluttershy angrily inquired.
Rainbow Dash pushed the plate away, "I usually do but this new healthier crap, isn't what I want to eat."
Fluttershy angrily glared, "I worked hard to make that food extra delicious, you will eat it."
Rainbow Dash chuckled, "You think I will eat anything you make just because you made it? Listen Shy I may be your pet but I am not going to be forced to eat things I don't like."
Fluttershy looked to Tank and Angel Bunny, "Will you two please leave the area while I politely speak to Snuggles?"
Tank and Angel Bunny didn't need to be told twice, they skedaddled out of there with great haste. Tank had to get Angel Bunny's help with putting on his copter but once he was equipped they got the hay out of there.
Rainbow Dash gulped in fear, "What's going on... Shy?"
Fluttershy didn't answer instead she got close to Rainbow Dash and bit her ear roughly, "I said you will eat my food Snuggles!"
Rainbow Dash growled, "Cut it out!"
Fluttershy backed away scared, "I ... I'm sorry..."
Rainbow Dash calmed herself, "Look I get it, you are really into owning me, and are trying to make my experience as real as possible. I just don't like the feeling that you are trying to control me... pets have free will to you know."
Fluttershy began licking Rainbow Dash's ear that she bit, "I know... I got out of hand... I am sorry."
Rainbow Dash smiled a bit at the affectionate licks, "Yeah I am too... I guess I overreacted."
Fluttershy kept licking and then gently nibbled on the ear lowering Rainbow Dash's defenses, "Yeah I guess you did, now please eat up... it's good for you."
Rainbow Dash moved her ear away, "No... I don't like this stuff... I won't eat it."
Fluttershy moved even closer and whispered, "I will let you go flying tonight before your bath if you eat all your food."
Rainbow Dash shuddered, "Alright... only because I really want to go flying."
Fluttershy watched Rainbow Dash start eating and grinned, "Good girl, Snuggles, I will get the leash for after you are done eating."
Rainbow Dash blushed, "Leash? Why do you need a leash?"
Fluttershy chuckled, "because silly, I need to make sure you don't cause chaos flying around at sonic speeds. I will be the one guiding you on your flight... unless you don't want to go flying that is."
Rainbow Dash felt played, "Fine! we do it your way, I just hope you are strong enough to hold me back from going too fast."
Fluttershy chuckled, "Oh Snuggles, don't you worry about that, I can be strong when I absolutely have to, and if you misbehave I will just punish you."
Rainbow Dash cringed, "Punish me how?"
Fluttershy blushed, "I would... spank you."
Rainbow Dash nearly choked on her food. "Say what?" she immediately asked.
Fluttershy smiled, "You heard me, I said if you act up during your flight I will spank you."
Rainbow Dash didn't know how to reply to that, it was as Fluttershy was showing a new side to herself. A dominant side that took no attitude from anypony. It was oddly turning Rainbow Dash on while scaring her. "Look Shy, I know you feel the need to show you are the owner but don't you think you are taking this discipline thing too far?"
Fluttershy calmly got close to Rainbow Dash, "No I don't Snuggles, I just am trying my best to take great care of you. I know I am being rough but you need to be more obedient." She nuzzled Rainbow Dash gently after she spoke.
Rainbow Dash nuzzled her back and bought the story that Fluttershy was weaving. "Yeah I guess, you are right. Well Shy I am done eating are you?"
Fluttershy grinned, "Why yes, I am done eating, now you wait here while I get the leash." She walked away to her room to grab the leash and felt victorious.
Rainbow Dash was alone and left to think. "I have a bad feeling about all this, but what can I do? I think Fluttershy is really into this and she did spend a lot of bits recently. Still what if things get out of hand will I be able to stop her? I also am worried about my friends, what do they think of me with the thought of me just leaving them like that... and Scootaloo... I think I made a mistake."
Fluttershy came down and put the leash on Rainbow Dash before giving a big grin, "Hey Snuggles, I have a fun idea for when we go flying."
Rainbow Dash would hear her out first then confront her, "Sure what is it?"
Fluttershy pounced on her and chuckled, "I think we should play tag in the air... you can chase me, and I can chase you... what do you say?"
Rainbow Dash smiled,"That sounds fun Shy but there is something I need to talk to you about first."
Fluttershy got off Rainbow Dash and helped her up, "What is it Snuggles?"
Rainbow Dash made the mistake of looking into the beautiful eyes of her best friend/owner. The joy the eyes displayed had destroyed her resolve and made her forget about the problems of being a pet. "I just wanted to say thanks for all this, I know I can be a pain at times but I appreciate this."
Fluttershy beamed, "That makes me so happy to hear, I was worried for a second you wanted to stop... I am so glad you enjoy being my pet because I ... I want to keep you permanently."
Rainbow Dash became silent and immobile. It was as if everything in her body had frozen at that moment. Permanently... that seems pretty intense, can I really give up my life and live under the hoof of another pony? Rainbow Dash knew she was slowly making things awkward and could only imagine what pain she was putting her friend through, "Alright Shy, I tell you what. For this month we can try this thing out, and if after a month we both decide to make things permanent then we can work something out."
Fluttershy felt as if she just won a game of chess, checkmate! She smiled softly, "Alright Snuggles, I just know that... as a pet... you're going to love me."
Fluttershy had been secretly enjoying her new role as an owner, more so than she let on. She was thrilled with each new rise in control over her long time friend and new found pet. She loved it so much that it caused her desire of dominating Rainbow Dash to increase. She had plans to subdue the rowdy pegasus with her charms and sweet voice. She knew how to get Rainbow Dash to not be aggressive with her, the shed of a tear and Rainbow Dash was unarmed.
She was ready to take her pet flying and attached the leash to her pet's collar and tugged it gently to make sure it was secured. "Oh Snuggles, I hope we have a good time flying together, I would love to have bonding moments with you," Fluttershy enthusiastically said.
Rainbow Dash wasn't feeling the whole leash vibe, and was hoping it wouldn't cause her damage if she went too fast for her friend to keep up. "Shy are you sure the leash is necessary? What if I promise to behave will you take it off?" she asked not enjoying the sensation of being tied.
"Oh Snuggles, don't be silly, the leash is to make sure you don't go flying off at super speeds." Fluttershy was handling the situation with ease, and trying to use as much logic to trick her pet into believing her. The truth is the leash was to keep Rainbow Dash from escaping or even thinking of doing so.
Rainbow Dash just endured the humiliation and agreed to allow herself to be leashed so she could finally use her mighty wings and fly again. "So then shall we? I want to get some good flying time in before my bath," she explained anxiously. She was beginning to lose it from being kept inside all day.
"Alright Snuggles, let's go flying it will be fun," Fluttershy said with a huge smile.
Pinkie Pie was still hanging with Twilight after they ate dinner together. Since Spike wasn't back from his dinner with Rarity, Twilight felt it would be nice to be with company instead of alone during the night. She hated lonely nights and Spike usually made it less lonely.
Twilight didn't know why but for some reason she felt like her dinner was more enjoyable than previous dinners. "Hey Pinkie... thanks again for coming over and the dinner. I feel like I owe you or something," Twilight sheepishly stammered. She wasn't sure why she was suddenly shy around Pinkie and felt she would do some research about it later.
"Oh you silly filly, you don't owe me anything, it's what friends do," Pinkie joyfully replied. She wasn't going to make Twilight do anything for a night of fun. "Plus it was nice hanging with you Twilight, you can be really fun when you aren't pushing your nose in a book."
Twilight blushed at that comment, "Yeah, I guess you are right, I do tend to read too much."
Pinkie poked her side with a hoof, "Hey, it's alright, reading books has made you into a smartypants."
Twilight smiled, "Yeah well I am not that smart if I can't even figure out what's going on with my friends."
Pinkie frowned, "Yeah it is odd that Fluttershy was being a meanie pants and Rainbow Dash just poofed."
Twilight nuzzled Pinkie, "Don't be sad Pinkie, I am sure we will figure things out tomorrow. Rarity will be able to speak to Fluttershy when they are at the spa."
Pinkie Pie sighed, "I guess you are right, see always the smarty pants."
Twilight sheepishly smiled, "Hey I have an idea, want to stay the night and have a sleepover?"
Pinkie Pie beamed, "Yes! oh sleepovers are so fun!" Pinkie Pie bounced around the library in joy.
Twilight chuckled, "Oh Pinkie, if I knew you would be this excited I would have invited you long ago to a sleep over." Twilight was worried about Spike, and yet she allowed herself to enjoy this moment with a friend.
Rarity was fussing over Spike, trying to get him to stay still. "Listen, if you don't do this then I can't help you," she informed him angrily. She had to keep him still otherwise it wouldn't fit right.
"I don't wanna, why is this important?" Spike angrily complained. He didn't like being forced to put something on. He didn't know why Rarity insisted he should wear it, especially since it wasn't comfortable at all.
"Look if you want to impress a lady, and I know you do, then you will have to wear something to charm her," Rarity gently explained. She kept him still and forced the outfit on him and smiled, "Now you look handsome and elegant. Go take a look in the mirror and see for yourself."
Spike was angry with how forceful Rarity was, he still obeyed despite his anger. "Alright I will see," he angrily huffed. He walked towards the mirror and saw a studly dragon looking back at him. "So you are saying this outfit will be able to win over Fluttershy's mysterious pet?" Spike enthusiastically asked.
Rarity looked at him with a serious look, "Well assuming it's something that would be acceptable for you to court, I don't see why not." She was excited at how marvelous she made him look. "Just to think some lucky animal is going to get to date you, I almost feel jealous,.. almost."
Spike chuckled, "Well I can accept the almost, and the suit as well."
Rarity beamed, "Oh Spike you are so cheeky, anyways take it off and I will let you know if the pet is something suitable for you tomorrow."
Spike took off the weird suit and was heading out the door. "Hey Rarity, I just wanted to say, thanks for all this. I know you don't owe me anything," Spike wistfully stated.
Rarity softly smiled at him, "Think nothing of it darling, if it was the other way around I am sure you would have helped me too, you are a good dragon Spike, never change."
Under the moonlit sky, two pegasus were in flight. Rainbow Dash was taking it slow and enjoying the wind against her wings again. She wanted to zoom into the sky and command it once again, but with Fluttershy holding her back it would be impossible. "Fluttershy, can I just fly for a bit alone... I just want to soar at high speeds and use my wings for a bit."
Fluttershy didn't like the idea of letting Rainbow Dash loose. She was hesitant about responding as well, "Look Snuggles, I trust you to comeback to me, please don't disappoint me." She removed the leash from the collar and waited for Rainbow Dash to burst high into the sky.
"Shy, I will be back in ten seconds flat," Rainbow Dash said. With the scenic lighting playing just right, Rainbow Dash appeared heavenly to Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash flew away and surely as she promised return within the ten seconds. For those ten seconds before returning she was free and enjoyed her freedom. She had been tempted to not return at all.
Fluttershy chuckled, "You enjoy abusing those wings so much, I am jealous of how little they need maintaining. Anyways Snuggles come here, I want to leash you up."
Rainbow Dash wasn't in the mood for being leashed, and instead she grabbed the mare out of the sky and flew like a maniac with her securely gripped by her strong legs. "I gotcha Shy!" she shouted as she felt the scared mare tense up.
Fluttershy had never felt so secure before in her life. She was amazed at how safe she was even at the insane speeds and lack of control. She somehow knew that Rainbow Dash wouldn't hurt her and with them so close it made her heart skip a beat.
"Hey Shy, hold on tight I am going to go really fast," Rainbow Dash warned. She waited until Fluttershy had been nearly face to face with her, their muzzles almost touching as their bodies were pressed together. It almost appeared as if they were making love in the skies, and yet innocently enough they were just holding on to each other for safety reasons.
"I ... am ready..." Fluttershy hesitantly squeaked. She was not sure how the dominant personality of hers was eradicated but made a note to gain it back before her pet got wise.
Rainbow Dash held her owner tight and rocketed into the sky. The sky, once again, understood who owned it, and would never forget it. She took Fluttershy all over Ponyville in seconds and made sure to stay at an altitude to keep from being seen.
Fluttershy wanted nothing more than to stay in the sky above with Rainbow Dash for eternity. She learned just what the sky meant to her and felt wrong for taking it away from her pet. "Snuggles let's go back... I want to give you that bath now," Fluttershy squeaked.
"Alright Shy... thanks for letting me fly without the leash... sorry if I worried you," Rainbow Dash gently said before slowing down and landing just outside Fluttershy's cottage.
Fluttershy sheepishly smiled, "Oh Snuggles, it's alright just don't make a habit of it. I am your owner and don't you forget it."
Rainbow Dash giggled, "Yes, Mistress Shy, how could I ever forget."
Fluttershy's growing dominance returned at that statement. It was meant as a joke but it was enough to reinvigorate the dominant side of Fluttershy, "Now my sweet Snuggles, get your flank inside and get to the bathroom."
Applejack was in the bath just trying to get her mind off things, "It would help if she wasn't so dang attractive." She had been thinking about Rainbow Dash all day. "Where did ya go sugar cube? I miss you." She slowly bathed herself and tried not to cry.
While bathing she began thinking about Big Mac and his potential date with Fluttershy, "I think I have a plan ta help my big brother not get rejected. That pet of Fluttershy's will just have ta deal with me for awhile. I jus' hope it don't try to eat Winona... or Granny Smith... or Apple Bloom... maybe I’m in over my head but, if I don't take care of that mangy pet, whatever it is, how can Big Mac get that date?"
She continued allowing the waters to calm her as it cleansed her body of the grime and dirt she had to deal with being a farmer. "Knowing RD, she would rather tussle with a dirty mare like myself... then why did it bother me that Fluttershy openly made that lie." Her mind was going into dangerous places with that line of thinking.
"Plus with Big Mac dating Fluttershy, that would mean one less competitor for RD's heart." Applejack kept talking to herself while cleaning her body. When she finished she dried herself off and went to her room. She went to her open window and looked through it, she smiled at the pleasant thought in her head while looking at the moonlit sky above. "I bet wherever ya are right now RD, yer having the time of your life."
Rainbow Dash was not having the time of her life, it was far from it. "Wait, so that means you are going to scrub me down there?" Rainbow Dash asked in horror.
"Yes Snuggles, I already told you, that I will be scrubbing you all over," Fluttershy nonchalantly replied. She was in the bathroom with Rainbow Dash getting the bath ready for her pet. "Now just be a good girl for me, and you can enjoy a good night's rest."
Rainbow Dash was already upset, also she needed to know where she was sleeping. "Speaking of sleep Shy, where am I going to stay the night? I know that fuzzball likes his couch so where does that leave me?" She asked in annoyance.
Fluttershy smiled, "Well Snuggles, if you behave and don't make too much of a fuss then I will let you sleep on the bed with me. If you don't behave and fight me during your bath then you will sleep on the floor, until I get you a pet bed."
Rainbow Dash felt screwed, "Wait... so I have to let you molest me so I can possibly be molested again on your bed?"
Fluttershy got angry, "I am not molesting you, I am just cleaning you, nothing sexual about me making sure you don't get sick from bad hygiene. Also I was thinking you would want to sleep with me on the bed, it's the ultimate honor for a pet to share their owner’s bed with them. I guess you think I am just a sick pervert, don't you Snuggles."
Rainbow Dash sighed, "I am sorry Shy... I really am it's just... I never had a pony touch my body in that way before." She blushed and lowered her face in embarrassment having to admit her inexperience with intimacy.
Fluttershy's grin became wicked, "Oh well, it's okay Snuggles, I promise I will be very gentle... now get in the bathtub and get relaxed... I am going to clean you... my lovely pet." Fluttershy grew excited at the prospect of being the pony to first lay hooves on Rainbow Dash. She didn't care if it was just for cleaning purposes, she was still going to be the first pony to caress Rainbow Dash intimately.
Rainbow Dash was wondering just how would her bath play out, “Alright Shy, I am ready for my bath… I am trusting you Shy… the ultimate kind of trust right now.” She hesitantly got in the bathtub and prepared herself for the worst.
Rainbow Dash was inside the bathtub with her back against the interior of the tub. She was watching the water rise and waited for the eventual humiliation of being scrubbed by another pony. It was three minutes before she opened her eyes to see what was taking Fluttershy so long.
Fluttershy was staring at Dash's body and became immensely shy. "I umm, I don't know if I can do this."
Rainbow Dash sighed, "Shy look, I am not a big fan of being cleaned by another pony... but you specifically said I can't clean myself so you have to do it."
Fluttershy hid behind her mane and pawed at the ground, "I am scared, Snuggles... what if it bites me while I try cleaning it."
Rainbow Dash chuckled, "Shy don't be silly it can't bite you with no teeth... plus I don't know if it has the ability to even bite... I kinda dropped out of high school and never had a health class."
Fluttershy blushed, "I left high school when you did... and I never really asked anypony about that... I don't even talk to my animals about it."
Rainbow Dash frowned, "So you are afraid of touching it? Then skip it and let me clean it."
Fluttershy looked determined, "No! I must face my fear and clean your body... even... that part."
Rainbow Dash noticed Fluttershy staring at her, "Shy... why are you staring at it?"
Fluttershy's cheeks grew red, "Well... it's so pretty and I’ve never seen one before, besides my own I mean."
Rainbow Dash coughed, "Um Shy... you are starting to worry me here."
Fluttershy shook her head and began scrubbing, "Sorry... anyways time to scrub, I just hope nothing happens when I...Ahhh!"
Rainbow Dash blushed and turned away, "Shy... you didn't have to touch it like that..."
Fluttershy leaned in and got a closer look, "Why did it do that? Is that natural? Oh Snuggles, I am sorry did I hurt you?"
Rainbow Dash kept looking away, "That's not it... you didn't hurt me Shy... it was... never mind, just be careful when cleaning down there alright?"
Fluttershy continued scrubbing away at her pet's luscious coat and tempting body. She was noticing the look on her pet's face and it made her heart beat faster. She fell into a trance and continued scrubbing diligently as if instinctively knowing how to rile her pet up.
Rainbow Dash felt sinful urges grow with each passing second, she had no clue how to suppress them but something told her to rub a certain part of her body. She denied herself the pleasure that would have befallen her if she had acted on her desires. She was being scrubbed by her temporary owner and long time friend.
Rarity was sipping tea and looked at the clock with a surprised look on her face, "Spike don't you think it's getting late?"
Spike chuckled, "It was late hours ago, I just had no reason to rush off since we are actually having a good time."
Rarity smiled sadly, "Yes we are, such a shame it took you moving on for us to hang out with no issues. I will miss you doting over me, and being extra helpful, but it's good for the both of us. I can now seek companionship without worrying about hurting you, and you can live the life you were meant to."
Spike frowned, "Yeah... maybe in an alternate universe we would have somehow magically ended up together with no logical basis for it. I just hope that other Spike is happy wherever he is at."
Rarity chuckled, "I bet the other Rarity is giving Spike a hard time, now that they are dating, especially since he does have some nasty habits."
Spike laughed, "Well that is other Rarity's problem, I guess maybe it's for the best that we didn't end up together... you have a full plate as it is and with me traveling with Twilight constantly our relationship would have sucked."
Rarity smiled, "Nah, if we had been together, I would be faithful and wait for your return... plus if I really wanted you I would make sure Twilight knew you weren't going to be accompanying her on her trips to Canterlot."
Spike blushed, "Really... wow that would be so hot to watch."
Rarity blushed, "You think me being aggressive is attractive?"
Spike looked away shyly, "Yeah... I mean it is kinda hot watching you get all frustrated you make the cutest face ever."
Rarity giggled, "Go on Spike do go on... you keep flattering me like this I might just keep you for the night, just to have an ego booster."
Spike frowned, "Yeah but that would leave Twilight all alone... and well you know how she gets if left alone."
Rarity smiled, "You are a good friend Spike, never forget that. Wait, are you sure Twilight is alone? If she is alone she usually would have come gotten you by now."
Spike rubbed his chin deep in thought, "Well Twilight did say she was going to have dinner with Pinkie Pie... you don't think... that they are still hanging out do you?"
Rarity's shipping goggles were magically placed on, and her juicy gossip senses kicked in, "Why Spike I think you are on to something."
Pinkie Pie was on a bed next to Twilight but was too excited to fall asleep, "Twilight, we should do something fun."
Twilight, who was tired, responded with, "Tomorrow.... I am tired... go to sleep Pinkie."
Pinkie was too energetic for sleep, "Oh come on you can't be tired... what if we read a book that will get your juices flowing."
Twilight chuckled tiredly, "Oh come here you silly filly." She grabbed Pinkie Pie and pulled her into a tight and intimate embrace.
Pinkie Pie became silent and instinctively got comfortable in Twilight's hold. She was feeling overjoyed at being held like she was wanted. She had been deprived of gentle embraces as a filly since her family were stiffs who despised fun. The new sensation was lulling her to sleep.
Applejack was trying to sleep but something was keeping her up, "Damn that pegasus why can't I get her off my mind... stupid sexy Dash." She paced around her room working herself into a frenzy. "I jus’ need to sleep... that is all, and in the morning I can get back to bucking Dash.... I mean trees! Trees, I want to buck trees not Dash... I don't want to buck my best friend... I want to buck them apple trees."
She was wondering why her heart was beating faster when she thought about the mare. "Well this ain't goin’ ta do me any good. I know I can jus’ focus on another pony... I mean, I can jus’ think about a pony I can't stand and those kind of thoughts would vanish... now what pony annoys me and ain’t Dash... oh yeah Rarity... I can think about her with no consequences."
Applejack had a newfound goal and went to bed while thinking about Rarity... and some say on that night Applejack learned the meaning of "be careful what you wish for."
Fluttershy finished cleaning her pet and sent Rainbow Dash to her room. She needed some alone time to clean herself and even contemplate on her current situation. "So far things, have been alright... though I have to worry about Applejack taking my Snuggles away... I just need to keep Snuggles away from the farm hussy."
She cleared her mind of that thought and continued cleaning herself. "I don't know if I can do this... I mean can Snuggles get along with the other animals... and what happens when the others find out... I want her so badly and I don't even know why." Her heart sped up and her mind began wandering around with the possibilities.
She finished washing her tired body and dried herself off before leaving the bathroom. She walked towards her room and saw Rainbow Dash sleeping on her bed sprawled out. It was a sight to behold and she was beholding it intensely. She snuck closer to get a better view of the tempting pegasus that was slowly being broken and controlled.
"Look how adorable she looks when sleeping... I must find a way to ensure she remains my pet," Fluttershy whispered to herself while getting dangerously close to the sleeping mare. She was looking at the pegasus shamelessly taking a view of her entire being.
Her eyes drifted from one part of the sleeping pony to another, her view piquing her interests. She began panting just watching the sleeping pony as naughty thoughts had seeped into her mind. "I must... have her... she must be mine and mine alone."
She began crawling on the bed and getting herself nestled with her pet and positioning them into a soft and loving embrace. "Oh Snuggles, if only you knew how badly you affect the ponies around you... I just hope you realize that what I am about to do to you in the coming month... is for the best." She licked Rainbow Dash's ear gently and began chewing on it.
Rainbow Dash was so out of it she didn't feel anything. She felt the stimulation coursing through her and it caused her to gently wake. "Shy... what are you doing?" she groggily asked.
Fluttershy smiled, "Oh nothing Snuggles, I was just bothering you."
Rainbow Dash sleepily smiled, "Well bother me in the morning."
Fluttershy giggled, "I like it when you are all sleepy Snuggles, so much I want to keep bothering you."
Rainbow Dash nuzzled Fluttershy gently, "If that is what makes you happy then... I guess I really don't have a choice now do I?"
Rarity looked at the time and sighed, "Spike... it seems your theory is true since your ... whatever she is to you isn't here."
Spike chuckled, "Man I can't wait to rub it in her face but... what should I do for tonight? I can't go there in case they are you know... banging."
Rarity gasped, "Banging? How uncouth, Spike where do you learn to talk such filthiness."
Spike shrugged his shoulder, "Rainbow Dash, she talks about banging all the time."
Rarity chuckled, "50 bits says Rainbow Dash has never gotten laid."
Spike laughed, "You are so on Rarity, I can't wait to be 50 bits richer."
Rarity smiled, "Either way it's getting late and I can't leave you out in the cold night... come with me I will find you a nice spot to sleep."
Spike cheered up, "Yeah that sounds nice... and don't worry I won't tell anyone I slept over. I know you have a reputation to maintain."
Rarity stopped in her tracks, "Buck my reputation you can tell anyone you want. We are friends and friends sometimes spend the night right? I mean just because Pinkie is probably banging Twilight doesn't mean that all friends who sleep over are lovers."
Applejack was running around Ponyville looking for Rainbow Dash, she was desperate to hang out with her secret crush. "Oh Feather Head where can ya be hidin'?" she mentally asked herself while searching. She checked the usual haunts and even decided to check inside Carousel Boutique.
When she got inside the place of business she expected to find nothing and move on; however, she got something that was causing her distress. "Rarity... what are ya doin' ta RD?" she asked in rage.
Rarity smiled wickedly, dressed in her faux-leather corset, "I am just enjoying priming the pony for her mistress."
Rainbow Dash was semi conscious being toyed with by Rarity as they waited for Fluttershy's return. "Hey AJ... you come to play too... after all I'm just a toy."
Applejack grew even angrier than before, "No! I didn't come here to molest you ... Rarity you let her go now... I am taking her with me."
Rarity chuckled, "Why darling, don't you know? This little slut belongs to Fluttershy... you can't take her away."
Applejack grew red from anger and shouted, "RD ain't no object... she is a pony and I'm gonna save her."
Rainbow Dash smiled, "Yay... my hero."
Rarity snorted in laughter, "That has to be the most hilarious thing ever... you speak about Rainbow Dash as if she is worth something to you... I bet you love her don't you... well you can't have her unless you ask Mistress Shy for permission to play with the little slut." She licked Rainbow Dash's ear and bit it roughly.
Rainbow Dash cried out in pleasure and pain, "Ouch... that felt so good."
Applejack charged at Rarity and tackled her freeing Rainbow Dash from her grip, "Now ya leave her alone... or ya deal with me."
Rarity smiled flirtatiously, "I think I would enjoy dealing with you darling."
Applejack tried getting up but felt magic holding her still, "What are ya doin'?"
Rarity lifted Applejack up and got her on her hooves, "Something you want me to do, otherwise you would be putting up more of a fight." She got closer and began kissing the farm mare.
Applejack tried protesting but soon melted into the kisses all the while Rainbow Dash was looking down in sorrow. "No... I can't... I want Dash not you Rarity," Applejack stated having regained composure.
Rarity chuckled, "Sure you do... now shut up and enjoy this." She pressed her lips against Applejack's and slid her tongue into the farm mare's mouth. With no resistance from Applejack, Rarity continued the passionate kiss and then things began fading into nothingness.

Rainbow Dash woke up feeling comfortable, her body warm and entangled, "What the... oh yeah I am Shy's pet now..." she whispered groggily . She looked at the sleeping mare she shared the bed with and smiled. "You look so cute when you sleep Shy... almost like the filly I rescued so long ago," She gently mumbled.
She began softly rubbing Fluttershy's face with her hoof in appreciation for the mare being such a good friend to her, "I would love nothing more than to stay but I need to get my exercise on." She gently untangled their body parts and made a hasty escape to begin her morning routine.
Applejack awoke in the early morning feeling excitement coursing through every fiber of her being. She had a feeling that something great was going to happen today, "Whoo Whee I feel like a spry young filly." She got up with vigor and was ready to attack the day.
She had her plan to help Big Mac court Fluttershy, ensuring her chances of snagging Rainbow Dash. "I can't wait ta reel me in a feather head." She just had to make sure Big Mac looked presentable enough and wasn't a coward. She made sure he was already up so they could begin their early morning chores before they went over to Fluttershy's cottage.
Fluttershy woke up peacefully after her restful sleep she enjoyed alongside her pet. "Snuggles?" she asked groggily, while flailing her hooves around the bed in search of the missing pegasus. She opened her eyes and noticed the bed was empty and the door was slightly open.
"I wonder what my Snuggles is up to," Fluttershy sleepily stated with a yawn. She got up from her bed and shook the morning drowsiness away before proceeding to silently skulk about until she found her lovely pet. She walked slowly down the stairs and when she arrived at her living room she saw something that made her body rise in heat.
Rainbow Dash was busy doing her morning routine of intense physical exercises. It was how she kept her muscular tone and great figure. She had to maintain her physiological state if she was going to soar at intense speeds and perform her best. She wasn't going to stop training her body in case the pet thing doesn't pan out.
She had been oblivious to the look of desire that was thrown her way as she was focused on making her body as physically fit as possible. Her warmed body had been worked during her routine and she was sweating heavily. The sweat and the scene being played out by her was causing Fluttershy some mental distress.
Fluttershy was ready to pounce and take the pegasus right there. The view of her friend and the intoxicating scent she had been giving off was driving her wild. Fluttershy licked her lips as she saw the sweat drip off Rainbow Dash's body. Rainbow Dash's irregular breathing due to strenuous activities was also influencing Fluttershy's desire to attack.
She lined herself up for optimal accuracy and waited until Rainbow Dash was finishing a set of wing-ups. Once Rainbow Dash finished her set, Fluttershy pounced and tackled her to the ground.
Rainbow Dash grew startled and was going to attack whatever was trying to eat her. She felt soft lips and teeth on her ears and yelled, "Shy... you almost gave me a heart attack!"
Fluttershy kept nibbling on her ear gently before she stood up above the body of her pet, "Now turn over and face me."
Rainbow Dash rolled to her back and looked up at her owner's face and noticed the proximity of their faces to each other, "Umm' Shy... what's going on." She was nervous as to what her friend was intending to do.
"I was just punishing you, for not waking me up like a good pet would," Fluttershy casually stated while hiding her true intent.
Rainbow Dash chuckled, "You're so silly... well if that is what you want then how am I supposed to wake you up?"
Fluttershy leaned down and licked the side of Rainbow Dash's face, "Like that, Snuggles, just like that."
Rainbow Dash blushed and looked away, "Isn't that a little much Shy?"
Fluttershy rubbed her pet's face gently, "Not at all and it's what I require of you my sweet pet." She began rubbing Dash's stomach and it easily made the situation easier to deal with.
With the morning chores done, Applejack was ready to initiate her plan. "Alright Big Mac, ya lookin' mighty fine, if I do say so myself, now let's go get ya a date." She was showing more excitement than her brother was.
Big Mac looked at his sister and chuckled, "Ya sure seem giddy, anythin' special ya got planned for today?" He began walking away from the farm with his sister at his side.
Applejack kept pace and smiled, "Not really, jus' excited for ya. Yer a nice stallion and deserve a good mare."
Big Mac smiled, "Eeyup." Being a stallion of few words made conversations a bit short at times. He wasn't sure if Fluttershy would accept his request but, with his sister at his side, it didn't matter. He still had the shipment of apples that were going to be delivered on his giant saddle bag.
Applejack was growing more excited as they got closer to Fluttershy's cottage and was hoping everything went smoothly. She wanted nothing more than to have her brother be happy and also herself. She had ideas of what she could do with Rainbow Dash if said pegasus' oldest friend was taken.
Rainbow Dash was in the midst of making a decision that would impact her relationship as a pet with Fluttershy. She could either lick her face or refuse while she still had a chance, "Hey Shy... is there any special way I should lick you?"
Fluttershy smiled, "Nope, just lick me where you see fit and it will wake me up... though most pets go for the face."
Rainbow Dash's body felt an odd feeling at the thought of licking Fluttershy, "Alright then mind if I try... just to see if it's something I can actually do without being weirded out."
Fluttershy chuckled, "Go right ahead Snuggles, you shouldn't be afraid to lick your owner, I love affection from my pets."
Rainbow Dash had an intense blush on her face. She was still on her back with Fluttershy on top, since none of them made any moves to get out of that position. She leaned her head towards Fluttershy's and began licking away at her friend's face. She was hesitant at first but after the first few she got into it.
Fluttershy was enjoying the sensual licks and was beginning to feel a familiar stir below. She knew she could have capitalized on the situation, but didn't want to press on until Rainbow Dash was completely hers. She slowly rubbed the side of Rainbow Dash's stomach, while her face was being covered in saliva.
Rainbow Dash was lost in the moment. Her tongue kept assaulting Fluttershy's face with soft and gentle licks. It was slowly getting heavy and the licking turned to nibbling. At this point Rainbow Dash was going by instinct, and something deep in her gut said to nibble that mare.
Fluttershy was blushing heavily as she began panting due to the heat that was rising from both mares' body. "Oh Snuggles, you are such a bad girl," she huskily said. Fluttershy was feeling great and she was looking forward to what was going to happen next.
The sound of knocking had interrupted the passionate play time of the two pegasus. Rainbow Dash turned her head away in embarrassment while Fluttershy grew angry. "Heh, I guess I kinda got... into it... I'm sorry Shy," Rainbow Dash said while watching Fluttershy walk to the door in anger.
"It's not you I am mad at... it's whoever dared knock on my door, now you know the drill go upstairs unless you want ponies to know you are my pet," Fluttershy angrily stated. She was enjoying herself immensely and the intruder ruined the mood.
Big Mac was gently knocking on the door and waited for somepony to answer. He didn't want to announce himself in case his deep voice scared all the critters who weren't used to seeing a big stallion near Fluttershy's place of living. While he waited he noticed his sister getting antsy and smiled.
Applejack was beginning to cover all the bases in her mind. If Fluttershy denied Big Mac because of the new pet she has, she was ready to offer her services as a temporary caretaker of it until the date ended. She was sure as hay not going to let Fluttershy get away with trying to deny him unless it was because the shy mare wasn't interested in him.
The door opened after the third round of knocking and Fluttershy came into view. "Oh hey Big Mac and Applejack, what can I help you with? Winona giving you trouble?" She tried to put on her best happy face for the two farm ponies sake.
Big Mac chuckled, "Nope, I'm here ta deliver apples, and ta ask ya out on a date this evening."
Spike had woken up when the sun rose and rushed home to get breakfast ready for Twilight. He went to check on her first and when he got in the room his jaw dropped. He closed his eyes and reopened them to make sure it wasn't some temporary illusion that was being displayed.
On the bed was a sleeping Twilight and snuggled up to her amorously was a happily sleeping Pinkie Pie. He had a couple of choices but his curiosity got the better of him. "Psst Twilight... psst," he tried calling out silently.
Twilight mumbled and felt something comfortable wrapped around her body and pressing on her chest. "Wha..." she groggily mumbled till she saw Pinkie Pie's face near hers and she panicked, "Aaah!"
Pinkie Pie alerted got up and looked around to see what the fuss was about, "Twilight... what's made you so scared?" Then she came into view of Spike standing there with a smirk on his face. She knew how the situation looked and wondered if Twilight was going to make a big deal of out it.
Spike chuckled, "Well I guess I know why things between you and Flash Sentry didn't work out."
Twilight blushed, "Spike... it's not like that. Pinkie Pie was just sleeping over and got too excited so I pulled her into a hug and I guess.... we just ended up like this."
Pinkie smiled, "That's right! I was like 'yay' and she was like, 'calm down missy', and then we hugged and fell asleep!" She was a bit relieved that the situation didn't turn sour. It could have ended badly had Twilight not been mature, and feelings could have gotten hurt.
Twilight noticed that Spike never returned last night, "Hey, wait a minute... what did you do last night?"
Fluttershy was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Big Mac just asked her out and Applejack as right there too. She knew that she would have to either accept and leave Snuggles to her own devices or deny and allow herself more time with her pet. Today was her day to go to the spa with Rarity and she couldn't cancel since it was their weekly appointment. With that already taking her time away from her new pet it was an inconvenience to her that she was asked out.
"Oh I would love to, really I would, but Snuggles is still adapting to her new environment and I need to be here for her," she lied expertly.
Applejack knew that she was going to pull the Snuggles card out, because a pet to Fluttershy was something precious. "Well don't ya worry about a thing. I'm gonna take care of Snuggles, while yer on that date."
Fluttershy pictured Applejack taking 'care' of snuggles and it made her angry, "Well you can't ... she is too much for you to handle." Fluttershy tried calming down before her tone became nasty.
Applejack chuckled, "Fluttershy ya know I can handle any critter, jus' let me take care of Snuggles and go enjoy yourself. Ya hardly ever go out and it's time for ya ta enjoy life."
Big Mac smiled at how willing Applejack was in helping him get a date, but was feeling that it was a lost cause.
Fluttershy smiled, "Oh I know you can do many things Applejack, It's just well... Rainbow Dash is coming back in town and she wants to hang out with you today... so if you are taking care of such a needy pet, how can you be there for your best friend?"
Applejack got excited at the name Rainbow Dash. It was like Christmas, hearing her best friend would be home. "Wait ya serious? RD's coming back and she wants ta see me?"
Fluttershy nervously nodded, "Oh yes... she is eager to return home, apparently Las Pegasus wasn't so great." She gave off that fake smile and hoped Applejack bought it.
Applejack felt torn between her potential lover, and her brother's happiness. She felt a hoof on her shoulder and sighed, "Alright Fluttershy, I guess if RD is coming by I can't be attentive to your pet, jus' kinda sad ya have such a needy pet when ya could be out dating a decent stallion."
Fluttershy frowned, "I'm sorry, I just... I didn't get this pet on my own it sorta followed me home, and I really think this pet will be a great one once she has settled... then maybe I could bring her to our pony-pet play date with, Twilight and the others."
Applejack sighed sadly, "Yeah sure anyways enjoy the apples, me and Big Mac going back to the farm."
Big Mac began walking away dejected, His heart felt stung even if the excuse seemed valid. If she was really interested in being with him in the slightest she would have found some pony who wasn't busy to look after her pet, and with his sister seemingly happy about the return of her best friend, he didn't make a fuss about it.
Rainbow Dash was on the stairs hearing the conversation. She was worried Fluttershy would have said yes and left her alone. Something about Fluttershy dating didn't sit right with Rainbow Dash. "Wait, why do I care... she's just my friend... and my owner. I can't be upset if some pony dates her," she angrily muttered.
Rainbow Dash was excited about some time to be outside, she missed hanging out with Applejack. She wasn't sure what the situation really was going to be but hoped she didn't have to wear the collar while at Sweet Apple Acres, She went to approach Shy when the apples had left just to see a scowl on her face, "Fluttershy... are you alright?"
Fluttershy was enraged at the prospect of letting her pet be anywhere near that farm slut, "Hey there Snuggles, I have a special assignment for you."
Rainbow Dash could sense that her owner was angry and gave some calming licks to her muzzle before asking softly, "What is it you want me to do Shy?"
Fluttershy smiled and relaxed a bit, "Well Snuggles, I need you to go hang out with Applejack until I am done with my spa treatment today."
Rainbow Dash smiled a bit, "Alright sweet! I haven't hung out with AJ in a while." Which apparently wasn't the right thing to say.
Fluttershy grew angry at how excited Rainbow Dash was, "Just remember, you are to entertain only... she isn't to get all touchy feely on you... while you are my pet you aren't allowed to date other ponies."
Rainbow Dash scowled, "What do you mean I can't date while being a pet? Listen Shy I put up with a lot recently but this crosses the line... plus who says I want to date AJ?"
Fluttershy chuckled, "Do you really want somepony knowing their marefriend is my pet? If so then you can date all you want." She had made her point and saw the look on her pet's face. "Awww, don't be sad... you will always have me my sweet Snuggles, and also it's time to give you a bath... but this time I am going to use my tongue to clean you."
Rainbow Dash blushed, "Come again?"
Fluttershy chuckled, "The look on your face... priceless."
Rainbow Dash sighed in relief, "For a moment I thought you were serious Shy."
Fluttershy, without missing a beat, replied with," For a moment I really was... now get in the bath we have plans today."
Spike had explained his situation and what he had been doing at the shop last night. He waited to see if the other mares were on board with his plans to date whatever Fluttershy's pet was, given if it was a being that was compatible with dragons. "So what you girls think?" he timidly asked.
Twilight frowned immediately and sighed, "Spike I don't know if that is a good idea... We don't know what the pet is and I don't want you to get hurt again."
Pinkie Pie, who was still on the bed with Twilight, had to agree with the princess of friendship, "Sorry Spike, Twilight is kinda right. We don't know anything about this pet... but I have an idea of how we can find out."
Twilight knew trouble was coming and before she could protest Spike had looked extremely excited. "How?" he asked with his eagerness returning.
Pinkie smiled wickedly, "We go to Fluttershy's cottage while she is out with Rarity at the spa... we will need disguises and mustaches... just in case we are caught." Pinkie Pie plopped her mustache on her face and rubbed her hooves together.
Twilight laughed, "Pinkie you are so silly... The mustache does look nice on you though."
Spike chuckled, "Hey Twilight keep it in your pants, Pinkie and I got some research to do."
Twilight blushed, "I was just... Uggg' never mind... you two have fun I am going to do something useful today."
Pinkie Pie frowned, "Awww' I was hoping you would join us Twilight... it can be like that time you tried stopping time... it was fun!."
Twilight grinned, "Alright then I am in... but if anything goes down... I was in my library reading the latest Daring Do, got that?"
They both nodded as Pinkie stroked her mustache. They all had plans to break and enter into a friend's house for the sake of finding out about her new pet.
After an uncomfortable extended bath with many 'accidental' groping, Rainbow Dash had finally got free from Fluttershy's lewd grip. It was starting to annoy the rainbow maned speedster, with how amorous Fluttershy's touches have been of late. Rainbow Dash wasn't adverse to mares, just romance turned her off. She wasn't a sappy or mushy pony, and if anything would never be in a relationship.
Fluttershy had been feeling naughty with her recent actions. She was enjoying the feel of Rainbow Dash's form among other things. She had made them a quick breakfast and made sure to leave the collar off her pet until she returned from the spa. "You know Snuggles, if you misbehave in anyway I will punish you later," she warned while finishing her meal.
Rainbow Dash was growing tired of her constant threats, "So then what if I purposely misbehave what shall you do?"
Fluttershy chuckled, "You don't want to know... anyways it's almost time for me to meet Rarity at the spa, so you should go and play with Applejack... just remember... you belong to me and me only." The smile Fluttershy gave creeped Rainbow Dash out because something behind that smile felt menacing.
Rainbow Dash rested a bit before heading out and when she was outside she took a short flight to Applejack's farm. She looked for the orange farm pony while thinking of some hilarious way to make an entrance. She saw her target and noticed how hard at work Applejack was with apple bucking.
Applejack had been too excited about Rainbow Dash's visit to focus on anything else besides bucking as many trees she could before Rainbow Dash arrived. She was so intent on bucking the most she could that she hadn't noticed the target of her heart's desires preparing to take her hat.
Rainbow Dash swooped down and grabbed Applejack's hat and then flew away at low altitude to entice her best friend to chase her. "Come on AJ move them legs," she called out.
Applejack had to react on instinct and gave chase, "Wait till I catch ya, feather head, I'm going ta tan your hide." She never meant the threats but it was part of their dance. She was accustomed to having to deal with a mischievous Rainbow Dash whenever the pegasus was bored.
Rainbow Dash landed in the middle of Sweet Apple Acres with Applejack's hat on and was smiling. She didn't expect the incoming tackle and the pony, she enjoyed spending time with, being on top of her. "What the hey AJ, is that the way you greet a friend?"
Applejack chuckled, "RD ya think because ya vanished for a day I was going to be all gentle with ya?" She leaned down and nuzzled her friend which was unusual to do.
Rainbow Dash blushed and looked away, "No... and hey I am sorry for just bailing, I would explain what happened but I rather we just hang out today you know?" She saw the hurt look on Applejack's face and nuzzled her gently. "Hey look... we can argue or we can have fun... I think we should just have fun AJ," she tenderly stated.
Applejack tried her hardest to stay mad but in the end it was hard, "Alright RD, but ya owe me an explanation... anyways sugarcube I am just glad ya came back and didn't vacation for too long. The weather ponies around here aren't as good without ya."
Rainbow Dash noticed none of them had moved from the spot they were in and decided to misbehave, "Hey AJ think fast." She waited for Applejack to look stunned by the sudden instruction to lean in and kiss the confused mare.
Applejack was surprised by the sudden kiss but instead of reacting with anger, she just kissed back gently and deepened the kiss. Slowly the kiss continued and the passion Applejack had for Rainbow Dash flowed through her lips right into the pegasus' body.
Rainbow Dash had no idea what was going on, what started as a prank was turning into a makeout session. She wanted to break the kiss and explain herself but she had to admit, it wasn't too bad. She noticed she was still on the bottom and hated being the bottom. She broke the kiss gently and chuckled, "That was nice but I rather be on top if we are going to make out."
Applejack blushed and realized just what was going on. "Oh I am sorry RD, I just... lost control of myself."
Rainbow Dash watched her move away and she got up to stop her, "Hey... I didn't say it was bad... I just rather be on top if you want to keep kissing that is... I don't know why you kissed back but... I won't lie it was good."
Applejack felt her heart skip a beat and wanted to jump for joy, "Well shucks sugarcube, ya ain't so bad at kissing either... ya really want ta continue though?"
Rainbow Dash didn't reply with words instead she just tackled Applejack to the ground and began kissing her lips with fervor. "What does that tell you?" she huskily asked.
Applejack had no words to reply with as she felt it was a dream. She began returning the kisses and soon they were having a full on make out session in the middle of the apple orchard.
Rarity was enjoying a session at the spa with Fluttershy. She was waiting for the right moment to get to her line of questioning since she didn't want to scare the timid mare away. "So darling, I hear you have some new pet running around your cottage, her name is Snuggles right?"
Fluttershy smiled at the mention of the name, "Why yes... she is my new pet. She is learning the ropes but sometimes misbehaves, especially when dealing with Angel Bunny. I wish there was some way of making her behave."
Rarity was eager to know more about this mysterious pet, "So she and Angel Bunny don't get along? what a shame... So what kind of pet is Snuggles anyways?"
Fluttershy went silent and got out of the hot tub. She looked back and sighed, "I am going to get a massage, where are is Aloe?"
Rarity had a brilliant idea, "Oh Fluttershy I have an idea... how about I give you a massage? I just had my hooficure and it would be nice to ease that tension myself."
Fluttershy was suspicious at how easy Rarity dropped the subject of her pet. Still it was Rarity, and she trusted her. "Alright that sounds nice," she said with a smile.
Rarity waited for Fluttershy to get settled on the table, that the spa ponies used to give massages. With Fluttershy's guard down and Rarity's knowledge of inducing pleasure... and pain. She was ready to manipulate Fluttershy into talking about Snuggles, with pleasure as incentive.
Fluttershy waited patiently until she felt some hooves digging into her gently. The stress of having to deal with Rainbow Dash being fussy at times, and all the questions of her new pet, were melting away and the sensation of pleasure was filling the gap that stress left.
Rarity heard a moan coming from Fluttershy's lips and felt it was now time to begin with her torture. "So Snuggles isn't a bunny I take it," she said while rubbing sensually along Fluttershy's sides. She gently massaged the sides of Fluttershy's wings but didn't get further into playing with them since she lacked the basic preening skills and didn't want to hurt Fluttershy.
Fluttershy was melting into the sensation and felt herself loose lipped, "Why no... she isn't a bunny at all... this feels nice." Her body was slowly surrendering to unicorn's touches as her mind began trying to resist the pleasure she was receiving.
Rarity was almost there, she could tell it would be soon that Fluttershy would give the information she wanted and some, She had the mare right in her grips and with her expertise at giving massages she was going to make Fluttershy tell her everything.
She started sliding her hooves downwards towards the lower back and decided it was the right moment to spring the million bit question, "So Fluttershy my dearest friend, what exactly is Snuggles." Just as she asked that she delicately massages the lower back eliciting a moan from Fluttershy.
Fluttershy was too out of it to properly think, "Well Snuggles is a..."
Spike, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight were at Fluttershy's cottage looking around the outside of the place before they made their move. "Edge standing by and ready," Spike announced using his codename.
"Spike... we aren't using code names... we’re just not talking until we find the elusive Snuggles," Twilight explained.
Pinkie Pie frowned, "Fun killer."
Twilight got upset, "What? this isn't fun and it's technically not legal... we are about to break into our friend's house."
Spike chuckled, "Pinkie I told you not to invite her."
Pinkie growled, "That was after I invited her!"
Twilight sighed, "Look if you guys don't want me around I can just go."
Pinkie tackled her energetically, "No way... you know too much... now come on, if anything you're our hostage." Pinkie laughed softly.
Twilight couldn't help but smile, "Alright then I'm the hostage, just let's hurry up I rather not be caught."
Spike watched them two interact and in his mind he said, "I bet by the end of today Twilight is going to get laid."
Scootaloo was at Sweet Apple Acres hanging out with Apple Bloom, while Sweetie Belle was with her parents in Manehattan. She was upset that Rainbow Dash had ditched her yesterday and was going to try and get her off the mind.
"Hey Apple Bloom you said you found somepony I wanted to see?" she nonchalantly asked.
Apple Bloom was excited, "I saw Rainbow Dash today, and she's with mah sister in the orchard."
Scootaloo was thrilled, "For real? Where?"
Apple Bloom chuckled before replying with, "That's just it! Applejack was chasin' her so if anything they sure as hay would be in the northern fields, let's go before they move on!"
Scootaloo was already rushing off, "Let's do this."
Apple Bloom chuckled, "Oh that Scootaloo... such a feather head, but she is my feather head."
Rainbow Dash was lost in the moment she was sharing with her friend. They had been making out for the past couple of minutes and things were getting hot. "Oh I think this is enough AJ... we don't want to rush into something we aren't ready for," she said between panting.
Applejack was growing red with anger and arousal, "Ya big tease! ya got me all hot and bothered... and now what?"
Rainbow Dash blushed, "Whoa... seriously? Well I didn't know."
Applejack got up and lustfully purred into Rainbow Dash's ear before whispering, "What ya afraid of RD, we ain't goin' ta be caught... it's jus' us out here sugar cube. I say we forget ourselves and have some real fun."
Rainbow Dash had a guilty feeling about all this. Something told her not to accept the invitation, and at the same time, she was trying to prove to herself that she wasn't afraid of Fluttershy, "Lets... do it."
Applejack got tackled to the ground for the second time today and didn't mind it at all. She felt Rainbow Dash's tongue slowly slide into her mouth and she was becoming aroused in anticipation. In her mind this moment was just right and she was going to enjoy herself.
Rainbow Dash claimed Applejack's mouth and explored it with her tongue. She began slowly moving her hoof down Applejack's body until she heard a loud gasp and looked up to see two shocked and confused fillies. "Oh shit..."
Spike spotted an open window and wished his wings would have sprouted already. "Hey girls I found an open window... let's use it to get inside, " he gently offered. The window seemed like a great way to enter and it would be the least possible to detect in case Fluttershy were to return early.
Pinkie Pie jumped on Twilight's back and chuckled. "Come on Twilight giddy up, I want to get there fast."
Twilight was both offended and amused at Pinkie's gesture. "Alright let's go but remember I can't fly so well with these things," she complained.
Pinkie clicked her hind legs together hitting Twilight's side and called out, "Come on Twilight use them wings and fly!"
Twilight blushed and began frantically flapping her wings to no avail. "Pinkie... get off we are going to use ropes," she angrily suggested.
Pinkie grinned as she leaned in and whispered, "I like where this is going."
Spike just watched bemused as the two ponies were blushing and whispering. "Alright break it up, I think we all get the picture already, can we go in now before Fluttershy returns?"
Fluttershy was being sensually caressed by Rarity and was about to lose her mind. The sensations pouring into her brain were riveting and something at the back of her mind was trying to fight the rising fog. "... a ... No!" she yelled as she splayed her wings forcing Rarity back.
Rarity was in shock from Fluttershy's sudden retaliation. "Fluttershy... why don't you just tell me, darling," she whined softly. She had her eyes giving a look of begging while her lips quivered.
Fluttershy wasn't going to be manipulated by any pony... not anymore. She was the dominant pony now, and has no plans of relinquishing her assertiveness. "Listen here Rarity, Snuggles is my business and that is all you need to know... also why are you trying so hard to find out what my Snuggles is?"
Rarity decided to fess up. "Fluttershy... I am trying to find out the identity of Snuggles, because Spike finally got over me and I feel awful about his emotional state right now."
Fluttershy chuckled darkly before angrily muttering, "What does this have to do with my Snuggles?"
Rarity looked a bit taken aback as she replied, "Well Spike was hoping he could have a shot at Snuggles if it was a compatible animal."
Fluttershy snorted in rage at the thought of that scaly bastard laying one claw on her pet. "Why would he think he would even have a shot with Rainbow Dash if you didn't give him the time of day." Before she realized what she had said it was all out in the open.
Rarity's eyes widened in surprise. "Rai... Rainbow Dash? You aren't seriously saying that Rainbow Dash is your Snuggles... are you?" She backed away slowly, fear had set in.
Fluttershy knew she couldn't let Rarity tell anypony or it would ruin everything. She approached the shaking unicorn and grimly whispered into her ear, "Rarity you're my dearest friend, and I would hate if anything awful happened, so please Rarity... let's keep this secret just between us."
Rainbow Dash was stunned from being caught by a filly who admired her. "Hey Scootaloo... this isn't what it looks like," she desperately lied. She hadn't the slightest idea of how to talk her way out of the situation she was in.
Scootaloo was wearing red on her cheeks. "So... what... what is it then?" she asked hesitantly. She was nervous and confused at the sight of her honorary sister in such an intimate position.
Applejack decided to chime in with, "We was jus' wrasslin' is all. Yep jus' wrasslin nothin' else." She even moved around and pretended to struggle until they both got out of their compromising position.
Apple Bloom just stood there with burning cheeks. "Ya mean ta be tellin' us that nothin' bad jus' happened?"
Rainbow Dash knew Applejack had a hard time lying to family. She answered for her with, "Well you see, wrestling isn't bad but where my hoof was and my lips were, normally doesn't happen so... don't do those things if you two decide to wrestle."
Scootaloo's wings were flared from the idea of wrestling with Apple Bloom. She began stuttering as she spoke, "So... th- the what?" Her confusion was addled with new feelings she had no idea to express.
Angel Bunny and Tank were alert of the noises going on outside. They had noticed that some intruders were attempting to get inside the cottage and began taking action as to prevent such an occurrence. With Angel Bunny's ingenious mind and Tank's bulky strength and assisted speed, they were able to conquer any challenge.
They peeked out the window to see Spike using his claws to climb the cottage walls while he held the rope in his mouth. Angel Bunny ordered Tank to get some pepper for chemical warfare. With Spike climbing slowly but surely it was feasible for Tank to return just in time.
With the pepper at hand Angel Bunny sprinkled some outside the window and waited for the satisfaction of defeating the dragon nemesis.
Spike suddenly felt his nose tingle and he sneezed upwards, avoiding scorching the house, as he fell back on to the ground. He twitched after his landing and sneezed again releasing more hot flames. "Twilight... I think Snuggles is stopping us from entering the house," he said in between sneezing.
Twilight was scared for Spike's safety as he fell but didn't react in time to save him from the not so distant fall. "Spike... are you okay?" she asked sincerely.
Pinkie looked up at the open window and shouted, "You can't do that to Spike!" in which the response she got was a bag of animal seeds being tossed at her.
Twilight was worried for the well being of her fellow ponies and had two choices. "Alright it seems this Snuggles, isn't playing fair... so I can either teleport in or we can call it a day."
Pinkie looked extremely angry and begrudgingly mumbled, "Get in there and give Snuggles hell."
Fluttershy explained everything to Rarity who visibly calmed down despite the trembling fear she had suffered at the hoof of the other pony. "So now you know everything... and you know why you can't tell anypony... I promise I'm not making Snuggles suffer at all... she likes being my pet," Fluttershy calmly informed.
Rarity had no idea that Fluttershy, the sweet and gentle mare, was capable of such behavior. It was like that time she had that training in being assertive. "Fluttershy, what if after the month Rai- I mean Snuggles, doesn't want to be your pet?"
Fluttershy frowned while sadly whispering, "Then I would be devastated... but I know that won't happen Rarity... she enjoys being my pet and we... "
Rarity could tell by the silence there was something else needing to be said. "So then what will you do about Applejack? You do know she is absolutely in love with Rainbow Dash... is she going to get hurt because you two want to play games?"
Fluttershy sunk into the waters of the tub they had at the spa. "I don't know... I just need to have Snuggles in my life." She looked at Rarity with eyes of sorrow as she realized how much she depended on Snuggles wanting to stay her pet.
Rarity sighed gently before she whispered, "I guess whatever happens I will always be on your side Fluttershy... just know Applejack is very dear to me and I ... don't think she should be out of the loop."
Fluttershy grew angry and flared her wings attempting an intimidation technique. "No! you can't tell anypony... I will talk with Snuggles tonight and tell her to make sure Applejack doesn't get any ideas about being with her. I will handle things Rarity... not you."
Angel Bunny could hear an intruder that somehow managed to get inside. He gestured Tank to check it out while he continued protecting the window.
Tank used his motorized flight equipment to fly down stairs and he saw the pony known as Egg Head. He knew he had to keep Fluttershy's room safe from Egg Head since they had a secret to protect. He rushed right by her while she seemed distracted with things and got to the kitchen.
The movement seemed to gain Egg Head's curiosity and she followed him into the kitchen. He was hiding on top of the fridge and waited for her to lose interest in searching.
Twilight was scouting the kitchen trying to follow that green blur that seemed familiar. "Hello... Snuggles?" she hesitantly called out. She knew that Snuggles had to be fast and apparently strong, and yet with no visuals on the creature she had no idea how dangerous it could be.
She heard something moving on top of the fridge, it was very slow moving and it was almost silent. "Okay... this is getting weird." She tried climbing the counter and when her eyes left the fridge the blur rushed through again. "Aah!"
She decided the investigation wasn't worth risking her life and just got out of there immediately. She walked towards Pinkie Pie and Spike and gave them the bad news, “Well I couldn't see Snuggles, but something in there was making sure that we weren't snooping around.”
Pinkie Pie grew silent until she remembered something important. “Wait! Rarity is interrogating Fluttershy and she will definitely get Fluttershy to talk. We will find out what Snuggles is after all!”
Rainbow Dash and Applejack had finally managed to get rid of the curious fillies and with that came alone time. Rainbow Dash broke the awkward silence that had built up since the fillies left. "So ... that happened," she muttered nervously.
Applejack stood silent for a second and looked at Rainbow Dash deeply, "RD... did ya do all that because ya have feelings for me?" she bluntly asked.
Rainbow Dash grew more nervous and responded with, "AJ you know me... I am not a sappy pony or a mushy one. I don't have romantic feelings but I will say this..." she leaned in and smiled. "I sure as hay enjoyed kissing you."
Applejack shed a small tear and looked away. "Listen here RD, I have a lot of work ta do and I think we need ta cool off before one of us does somethin' we'll regret."
Rainbow Dash saddened at the words and didn't want to risk losing a friend. "Alright... but ... AJ... I never meant to hurt you... I just don't have feelings like other ponies do... I have never said I love you to another pony before... but I know you mean a lot to me... anyways I will be going."
Applejack looked at her sadly and slowly whispered, "Take care now, ya hear? I want ya ta visit again jus' not so soon."
Rainbow Dash nodded and flew off without another word uttered. She was mad mostly at herself but also at the fact she couldn't be with another pony while being somepony's pet. She decided she would wait for Fluttershy at home and give her the bad news.
Fluttershy and Rarity had finished their self indulging pampering fest. They had been hooficured, massages, cleaned, etc. With their departure imminent Fluttershy got really close to Rarity and whispered, "Remember not a word of this to any pony... I trust you Rarity... don't break my trust."
Rarity sadly looked at Fluttershy and whispered, "Please be careful with all this... I am worried not just for Rainbow Dash but for you... promise you won't do anything crazy."
Fluttershy giggled softly. "Oh Rarity, I will be fine.. I promise I won't do anything crazy," she cheerfully said.
Rarity began walking home with a feeling of guilt and shame. She has the knowledge and power to stop the insanity but, she didn't have the resolve to ruin her friendship.
Rainbow Dash was laying on the couch with a happy Angel Bunny, fake smoking an imaginary cigar, and she was waiting for Fluttershy's return. She had rehearsed her good bye plenty of times while waiting for the timid mare to arrive back from the spa.
She heard the door open and in came in the pony who she was hoping she could remain friends with after this ordeal was over. “Hey Fluttershy welcome home,” she said casually while going to greet her like a proper pet would.
Fluttershy was surprised that Rainbow Dash came to her with affection. She was feeling excited about the new attitude she was displaying. “Seems like someone missed their owner, did my good girl miss her owner?”
Rainbow Dash looked away and sighed. “Listen Shy… about that… we need to talk.” The lack of eye contact made it plainly obvious where the conversation was headed.
Fluttershy didn't like the tone and immediately became angry. "What do we need to talk about Snuggles!" she viciously muttered.
Rainbow Dash couldn't tell her she wanted out, and instead decided to make her want to kick her out. "Well I sorta ... kissed Applejack and almost had sex with her today," she nervously answered.
Fluttershy's normally calm and gentle self went into hiding as a more assertive vicious persona came out. "You did what?"
Rarity was getting ready to close the shop since it was near dinner time and she had to eat. Just before she could temporarily close the store three visitors walked in with curious gazes. "Twilight, Pinkie, Spike what can I do for you girls, and guy."
Twilight narrowed her eyes. "You know exactly what we are here for Rarity."
Pinkie Pie chuckled. "You have to forgive her, she had a rough day today."
Spike had a scowl on his face. "I had the roughest of them all... I still can't breathe right."
Rarity was shocked to see such distress among her friends and asked, "What happened?"
Twilight gave a brief explanation of the events. "Anyways, now that we have failed in finding out what Snuggles is, we have turned our hope to you. So, did you find anything?"
Rarity was torn between telling the truth and keeping a secret. "Well honestly Twilight, Fluttershy was a hard egg to crack. I could barely get anything out of her."
Pinkie Pie frowned. "So, we don't know what Snuggles is, and still have no clue where Rainbow Dash went."
Rarity grew nervous and giggled. "Well Rainbow Dash yes."
Twilight gave an odd look to Rarity before asking. "Did Fluttershy mention the whereabouts of Rainbow Dash?"
Rarity gulped. "Yes she did, and no I don't currently know where Rainbow Dash is."
Spike grew angry. "Guys we can worry about Rainbow Dash later, since we have no clue about Fluttershy's pet, I say we eat dinner."
Rarity smiled brightly. "I agree with Spike, you girls and Spike should go eat some dinner, take your minds off Snuggles and Rainbow Dash. I am sure we can talk with Fluttershy during the pony pet play date at the park tomorrow."
Rainbow Dash had never seen such a look on Fluttershy before. The eyes staring at her, like daggers ready to pierce her heart, were making her feel vulnerable. "Look Shy... I want out of this... I know it hasn't been a month but I think I am ready to call it quits."
Fluttershy chuckled grimly. "The element of loyalty who never breaks her word wants to do so now? Pathetic... fine run off and live with the shame of breaking your word."
Rainbow Dash cringed at the words. "No... you're right, I can't go back on my word. Fine Fluttershy, this month and then I am gone."
Fluttershy smiled. "Oh Snuggles you almost made me cry just now... come here and show me how much you adore me as your owner."
Rainbow Dash stood still and didn't make any effort to move. "No, I think I am just going to relax and wait for dinner," she stated rudely.
Fluttershy had enough of Rainbow Dash's disobedience and pounced on her again. "You think I enjoy hurting you? Why do you make me do this Snuggles? You will obey me." She bit down on Rainbow Dash's ear hard and tugged it roughly.
Rainbow Dash screamed in pain and tried struggling. "Fluttershy knock it off, I'm in no mood for this."
Fluttershy let go of the ear and released Rainbow Dash from her grip. "Sorry... my behavior has been horrible lately, and I apologize for that. Go to my room and I will make us a nice dinner and we can forget this whole nonsense ok?"
Rainbow Dash got up from the floor and angrily walked up the stairs before calling out, "Sorry isn't going to fix all our problems... and as soon as this month is over we might need time apart as friends too."
Fluttershy smiled darkly as she heard Rainbow Dash slam the door to her room. "Stupid Snuggles, you really think I'm just going to let you get away with almost losing your virginity to Appleslut?"
Applejack was eating dinner with her family while being more silent than usual. She was wondering what to do about her current situation and if she should tell anypony about it.
Apple Bloom had been scarred by the image and would most likely need therapy. "Can ya put a 'Dash' of pepper on the omelettes?"
Applejack scowled at Apple Bloom. "Why sis, can't ya just 'Scootaloo' on over here and get the pepper yourself?"
Apple Bloom blushed and countered with, "Oh, well it might have a funny taste if I mess it up. Speakin' about taste, what do rainbows taste like sis?"
Applejack grew infuriated and yelled, "I don't know, but I bet you can tell me what chicken tastes like."
Granny Smith had no idea why they were arguing and what the true nature of the argument was about, but she had enough of their bickering. "Ya two ponies ain't itchin' for a whuppin now, are ya?"
Applejack sighed softly. "No Granny Smith. I'm sorry about arguin', may I be excused?"
Granny Smith just nodded and went back to eating her meal.
Pinkie Pie was getting ready to head home to eat some dinner when Twilight stopped her. "What's the matter Twilight?" she asked gently while eyeing the mare.
Twilight blushed as she replied with, "I want you to stay again... I had so much fun at dinner and it was nice not sleeping alone."
Pinkie Pie grinned. "Alright, I will have dinner again with you, but tomorrow I really need to get back to work. I can't just run and play all day."
Twilight smiled as glee took over. "Sounds like a plan... now what to do about Spike?"
Spike had already heard enough. "Listen girls, you two have fun and I will seek shelter elsewhere," he said angrily.
Twilight frowned and rushed towards him. "Where are you going to go Spike?"
Spike looked at Twilight and sighed. "I don't know and I don't care really. I just don't want to be at the library when you two start... rutting."
Rarity thought her troubles were over as she stepped into the kitchen and began preparing a meal. She heard somepony knocking on the door and yelled out, "Closed!" When the knocking didn't stop she went to see what pony was in need of a talking to.
She opened the door and grew miserable at the sight of her dearest friend, who wore the angriest look ever. "Fluttershy... what's going on?"
Fluttershy came inside uninvited and stomped with each step she took. "I need your whips and a special suit, and you will get that stuff for me Rarity."
Rarity decided she would have to hire a bodyguard of some sorts. "Look Fluttershy I can make you an outfit no problem but I don't have any whips."
Fluttershy stared at Rarity with eyes full of malice. "I wouldn't play coy if I were you. I know you have a naughty collection of bondage paraphernalia and I know you haven't been able to use them. You don't have the courage to actually use them on somepony."
Rarity sighed. "Fluttershy you are my friend and we shared secrets. I know you don't want to tell me why you are requesting that stuff but please... tell me it isn't for what I think it is."
Fluttershy growled. "You don't know what she almost did... I have to make her obey me... I ... please Rarity... I am desperate here." She began crying softly as the fears in her mind played out.
Rarity knew she would hate herself for this. "Alright fine... I will make the outfit for you it shouldn't take me long and in return you can finish prepping my dinner. The whip is rental only, unless you want to buy it from me." She looked away and until she felt a soft hoof on her muzzle.
"See... that wasn't so hard was it?" Fluttershy asked in a patronizing tone. "Now I will finish prepping your dinner while you go on and get me what I need... then I will be out of your mane and on my way." She waked into the kitchen and didn't see the tears leaking from Rarity's face.
Angel Bunny was getting upset. He thought that Rainbow Dash was going to leave with the way she went on about it before Fluttershy had shown up. "Stupid rainbow maned mare. I thought she was going to leave this place and give me the title top pet back."
Tank felt bad for Angel Bunny. "Sorry pal... it seems your owner really wants her around."
Angel Bunny sighed as he patted a spot next to him on his couch. "Listen Tank... do you really think things are going to end well? I'm not just trying to get my title of top pet... I am trying to protect my owner."
Tank had used the flying gizmo to get to Angel's side. "Yeah I guess that was part of the reason you were going overboard. I know that things might end badly, and I hope it doesn't."
Spike ended up at Sweet Apple Acres after his decision to leave Twilight's home for a while until the Pinkie situation was settled. He was making his way to the house when Applejack saw him from outside her window.
"Howdy there partner, what are ya doing here this late."
Spike looked up and saw Applejack looking down with tear stained eyes. "Hey Applejack I was wondering if I could crash in the barn or something tonight."
Applejack looked worried. "What's goin' on Spike? Why ya in need of someplace to sleep?"
"It's nothing really, just... Pinkie Pie and Twilight are basically falling in love with each other randomly, and I don't want to be there when things escalate."
Applejack chuckled. "Nice joke there Spike, got me good." She wiped a tear from her eye and smiled. "Seriously Spike, what are ya doin' here this evenin'?"
Spike scowled and kicked the dirt beneath his feet. "I am not joking around here... right now Pinkie Pie and Twilight are basically making moves on each other... it's weird."
Applejack's smile grew into a confused stare. "Really? That's mighty odd. Well if ya really need a place to stay why don't ya go ahead and make yourself comfy in the barn, just don't burn it down."
Rarity came into the kitchen and smelled the wondrous meal being prepared. "Oh Fluttershy that smells amazing," she said in honesty. "Well I packed up your things and you may keep the whip, just pay me soon so I can get another one."
Fluttershy finished cleaning her hooves and dried them off before walking towards the bag that Rarity had set down and peeking inside. "This will do just fine... Rarity have a good dinner... and don't worry, I won't tell you anything about what will happen tonight."
Rarity shivered from the thought of what she imagined would be going on at Fluttershy's cottage. "Alright dear, and please don't mention where you got those things."
Fluttershy chuckled. "Don't worry I will keep this secret as long as you keep mine. Gotta go now, I have a pet to tame." Fluttershy walked out carousel boutique and headed home to finally show Rainbow Dash how serious she is about obedience.
Rarity watched Fluttershy walk out the door and waited for her to be far gone before she broke down and cried. "Oh Celestia... please don't let this end badly."
Pinkie Pie and Twilight were having a nice quiet dinner. They sat in comfortable silence and kept gazing at each other throughout the meal. Pinkie Pie felt her Pinkie Sense tingle telling her something awful was going to happen. "Hate to ruin the mood but my Pinkie Sense is telling me something awful is going to happen."
Twilight frowned. "Does it have to do with Spike, should we go?"
Pinkie Pie put a hoof on Twilight to silence her. "No it's with two ponies... I don't know which two though."
Twilight thought she was being rejected. "You think this is a mistake then?"
Pinkie looked into her eyes. "No! This is not a mistake... I am not sure what this is... but I like it!"
Twilight blushed. "But it's so wrong... I mean I was supposed to be with Flash Sentry... and yet I have no desire for him."
Pinkie Pie leaned in gently. "I know this seems sudden, and I agree we didn't see this coming, but I want this and I want you to want it."
Twilight wore a red face as their muzzles neared. "I want this too Pinkie... even if it means I am being selfish, I want this and I won't let anything stop this."
Pinkie softly smiled "Then nothing will." She leaned forward and kisses Twilight gently.
Twilight blushed as her heartbeat quickened. "Do that again... I want another kiss."
Pinkie Pie obliged and kissed Twilight again, this time the kiss lasted longer. The two lips held together by passion and want, their minds slowly drifting into the possibility of what could be.
Rainbow Dash was rolling around on Fluttershy's bed, fighting off boredom with rapid movements. She heard the door open and muttered, "Finally, I hope she can cook quickly I am starving." She heard hoof steps and they grew louder with each thud. "Fluttershy?" She asked hesitantly.
The door to the room opened and what Rainbow Dash saw made her eyes almost pop out her sockets. "Fl.. Fluttershy?" she stammered.
Fluttershy, wearing the faux-leather corset with a slot for the whip she was going to use, had smiled seductively. "No, I am not Fluttershy my dear Snuggles, from now on you shall address me as... Mistress."
Fluttershy was ready to lay down the law. She had her whip and corset ready, even though she wasn't sure what to do with it. She had never used a whip to discipline an animal before. It was going to be a new experience. "Now are you ready to behave Snuggles?"
Rainbow Dash's wings flared in arousal and she blushed fiercely. "Fl- Fluttershy? Don't you know what you're wearing?"
Fluttershy took the whip out and lashed at Rainbow Dash with it.
Whack!
"Ow Fluttershy the hey..."
"It's Mistress to you Snuggles. You can earn the right to call me by name, when you learn to obey."
"Flutter-"
Whack!
"Ow... cut it out."
"Call me Mistress and this all ends."
"No! I will not call you Mistress. I will call you Flu-"
Whack!
"I don't like hurting you, well actually... hearing you scream is kind of nice."
"What? You're enjoying this?"
"No...yes... I don't know... just call me Mistress, and we can move on from all this."
"Fluttershy I-"
Whack!
"Come on Snuggles, I want to eat dinner and you do too. Am I right?"
"Yes... Flu-"
Whack! Whack! Whack!
"Mistress, stop please!"
"There's a good Snuggles, see, I knew with just the right motivation you could be a good pet. Now come to Mistress and show me how excited you are to be my pet."
Rainbow Dash got off the bed and submissively walked towards Fluttershy. When she got close enough she began licking Fluttershy's face gently. "There... Fl- Mistress."
Fluttershy smiled wide and put the whip back onto the holster that was sewn into the corset. "See Snuggles, now we don't have to worry about disobedience. Do we?"
Rainbow Dash began sobbing softly as she replied,"No we don't... I will behave just please stop hitting me."
"Good Snuggles, now get downstairs and be a good girl while I make us some yummy dinner. It's getting late so a salad will have to do." Fluttershy watched Rainbow Dash go downstairs slowly, and when she was out of earshot, she giggled excitedly. "Oh, oh my. I was so powerful... she actually obeyed.... I think I am going to keep this whip after all."
Tank noticed the defeated look on Rainbow Dash's face, when she got on the couch with blood dripping from various wounds. He looked at Angel Bunny who was equally shocked about the turn of events. "Hey Angel Bunny... we heard what happened... I think it's time we do something about this."
Angel Bunny chuckled, "Oh now it's time to do something? Not when I suggested it earlier to prevent all this?"
Tank sighed. "Don't tell me you knew this was going to happen and made all this fuss because of it."
Angel Bunny smirked. "That's exactly right. You don't understand, Fluttershy has to be kept in check or she goes crazy."
Tank finally put all the pieces of the puzzle together. It wasn't that Angel Bunny was an extreme dick, it was his role in keeping Fluttershy from becoming Flutterbitch. "Well what do we do now?"
Angel Bunny rubbed his paws together. "Now we go and get help. Momma won't be easy to deal with, while she feels in charge. We need some ponies to see her like this and force her to revert to her shy self."
Tank looked over at the sniffling pony on the couch and frowned. "Let's do this fast before she gets hurt more."
Angel Bunny noticed the blood and tears, and felt bad himself. "Yeah... no pony deserves this... not even her."
Fluttershy was making her way downstairs when she saw a trail of blood in the form of a dotted line. small circles of red had littered her stairway. She hurried in worry to see what was causing such a mess. She looked at the open door and saw Tank and Angel Bunny fleeing for their lives.
She looked at the couch and saw a broken pegasus crying softly in pain. "R..Snuggles... what happened?"
Rainbow Dash looked at Fluttershy with anger, "You're bucking kidding me right Shy? You did this to me with your whip."
Fluttershy looked at the weapon she had holstered and frowned at the sight of the red stains. "I... I..." she broke down and cried in guilt. "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry."
Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes and ignored her apologies. "Look Shy... sorry... isn't going to cut it. If you want to do the right thing here just let me go."
Fluttershy looked up with the saddest eyes she could muster and begged, "Please don't go... please stay... you don't want me to be all alone right now."
Rainbow Dash detected a veiled threat and sighed. "Shy, we can't keep doing this. I thought I was in for just a couple of belly rubs, some free meals and a friend to hang with. This ... what you did... how you hurt me... isn't what I wanted."
Fluttershy got closer slowly. "Please... don't hate me Snuggles, I really am sorry," she said calmly.
Rainbow Dash grew weary of the sudden closeness and the change in tone. "Fluttershy... what are you doing?"
Fluttershy smiled and get closer with slow steps. "It's ok, I won't hurt you... come here Snuggles." She held out her forelegs waiting for Rainbow Dash to react.
Rainbow Dash did react in the way expected. She slowly moved in for the hug and felt safe again. "Shy... you're back to normal?"
Fluttershy held in a dark grin as she lied, "Yes... I am back to normal Snuggles... can we move on from all this?"
Rainbow Dash smiled a bit. "Yeah Shy... I’m hungry anyways."
Fluttershy gently kissed Rainbow Dash's lips before walking away and leaving the stunned pegasus on the couch. "After I make us some delicious dinner I will tend to those wounds... go rinse them off while I make you something yummy."
Rainbow Dash smiled and felt like things were going back to normal. She made her way to the bathroom to clean off her wounds.
Tank decided to head to Twilight's library. She was the magical princess who could put a stop to all this. While Tank made his way there, Angel Bunny headed towards Sweet Apple Acres. If magic wasn't available muscle would do the trick. Since Rainbow Dash was being toyed with and incapable of fighting back against her oldest friend it was up to either Twilight or Applejack to save the day.
Tank had made his way to the library and flew in through the open window. He looked around the library and noticed a lot of books but nopony reading them. He heard some odd noises and decided to investigate. he wanted to see if he could find anypony to help.
He got closer to the source of the noise making and was shocked at the sight. There he saw a mesh of lavender and pink rolling around on a bed doing weird things, he had no idea about, and over all being very overtly vulgar. He knew it was wrong to watch but as a hero he needed to get help. So he waited quietly while they continued their lewd acts.
Angel Bunny had better luck than Tank did. There wasn't any sexual tornado of passion, being swept up in a confined library room, at Applejack's farm. He ran to entrance of the house in which the Apple family stayed in and noticed by the window a pony looking out to the distance.
He grabbed some nearby rocks and began pelting the window sill next to the pony and grabbed her attention.
"Angel Bunny, is that you? What in tarnation?" The pony yelled out confused.
Angel Bunny began waving his arms wildly and trying to get her to follow along.
"What's goin' on now? Jus' wait a second while I get myself downstairs," she called out before disappearing from Angel Bunny's view.
He waited a couple of seconds until she reappeared through the open door that lead to inside. He frantically tried gesturing out his plight but to no avail.
" Let's see a pony is in need of Applesauce?" She tried interpreting the signals and failed.
Angel Bunny had almost given up hope until he heard the voice of his eternal rival.
"What's all the fuss," Spike said before yawning. "Angel Bunny... what do you want?"
I want you dead, faggot. He had to momentarily let go of his distaste for his rival. He tried gesturing to him about the situation and it was working better.
"Let's see, Fluttershy... has color speed... and is making babies with it?" Spike guessed.
Applejack began thinking about what the real meaning was. "Hold on Spike, I think he meant Fluttershy has paint that is drying and it's making him cry."
Angel Bunny slapped his forehead. Great I am dealing with morons... it's no wonder they are single. Well I gave it my all... nah one more shot. He looked at them and made each gesture deliberately slow and easy to follow along. Regardless of the need to hurry.
Spike tried guessing again. "Fluttershy... has... Rainbow... speed.... and is... making her... pee?"
Applejack chuckled before giving her own interpretation a shot. "Alright it's clear what he is saying. Fluttershy has Rainbow Dash and is making her cry. But that can't be right because... nopony can make Rainbow Dash cry."
Spike nodded his head in agreement. "Angel Bunny must be mistaken or having a bad dream... well this was fun but I am going back to sleep."
Angel Bunny gave Spike a look of death. Sleep while you can Spike, one day we shall duel to the death my most hated rival. He looked towards Applejack with a pleading look.
Applejack could tell something was off and decided she would indulge the varmint. "Alright I'll follow ya, but ya better not be wastin' my time."
Fluttershy was making a nutritious and delicious salad. It wasn't the fanciest dinner, but she was going to make sure her Snuggles at well. "She will feel all better about this... then when Applejack or Rarity stops by nopony will see that I am abusing her. Those animals think I wouldn't catch on to their sudden vanishing act. If I know my Angel Bunny well, and I do, he's probably going to tell on me."
Fluttershy was grabbing her first aid box, anticipating the arrival of her pet. She knew it wouldn't take too long for Rainbow Dash to rinse off the wounds. "Oh Snuggles... come here so I can fix you all up." She used the time it would take for Rainbow Dash at very slow speed, to make it down stairs, to quickly clean up the evidence of her attack.
She quickly destroyed any evidence that could be detected by a non magical pony. She hoped that Twilight wasn't grabbed for investigation since she could really mess things up. "Snuggles?" she called out a bit scared.
Rainbow Dash slowly made her way downstairs and noticed how quickly the evidence of her previous pain was gone except from her body. "Fluttershy... expecting company?"
Fluttershy nervously laughed. "No not at all, just wanted to get past that nasty mess... come here so I can fix you up."
Rainbow Dash stopped and grinned. "No... I think I rather keep these marks, unless you can make it worth my while to get patched up."
Fluttershy hated being blackmailed. "Oh I see... well I can sure make it up to you... I can make you feel good."
Rainbow Dash blushed. "Not the direction I was going with, and I know you're just lying. How about this... I let you tend to my wounds and in return you have to give me a world class preening."
Fluttershy smiled. Sucker, you had the power to change things and you gave it up for preening... you're really dumb aren't you my sweet Snuggles. "Alright you win Snuggles, you will get the best preening ever if you come here and let me tend to your injuries."
Rainbow Dash smirked. Sucker, I would have came to you, for free, now I get my wings all preened up by the best caregiver in all the land."Alright Shy... let's get this done."
Angel Bunny felt like he was a true hero. He had managed to lure Applejack to Fluttershy's house without Fluttershy being able to prepare for the sudden intrusion. He was ready for... Wait if I save the pest, than I can possibly endanger my momma... she can't be taken away... what was I thinking? He tried stopping Applejack from going inside but was being shoved aside gently.
"Ya made me come here, now I'm goin' in." Applejack knocked on the door gently and heard movement on the other side.
"Who is it?" a small voice called out.
"It's me ,Applejack, I came by because your varmint lead me here," she replied bemused.
"Oh, I'm sorry for that... I will take care of Angel Bunny and teach him a lesson about wasting the time of hard working ponies," the voice relayed.
"Fluttershy can ya open up? I jus' want to make sure what he said isn't true." Applejack watched as the door opened and a groggy robed Fluttershy appeared before her.
"Oh hello Applejack... care to come inside?" She asked nervously.
Applejack sniffed and noticed a familiar scent, the scent made her angry. "Ya smell like Rainbow Dash... why is that Fluttershy?"
Applejack was at Fluttershy's door waiting for her to answer the question she had previously asked. "Well... go on, tell me why ya smell like RD."
Fluttershy thought of the only excuse she could think of. "Well... Snuggles is using the same shampoo that Rainbow Dash uses."
Applejack chuckled. "Nice lie... I sure as hay know that RD has a special Wonderbolt brand shampoo, that is mighty expensive, and ya can't afford it with the small amount of bits you have."
Fluttershy began sweating and hid behind her mane. "I ... I..."
Applejack became enraged. "Move aside now! I'm going to find RD and take her with me... ya sicko."
Fluttershy yelled, "No," at the top of her lungs.
Applejack who was already making her way inside stopped in front of Fluttershy. "Look that bunny of yours told me ya was making Rainbow Dash cry. If you think I will let anypony abuse the mare I love, ya got another thing comin'."
Fluttershy flared her wings in anger and used them to intimidate the farm pony. "No... Snuggles is all mine, and you can't have her Applejack."
"Snuggles, who cares about Snuggles. I want RD," Applejack said while snorting out steam.
Fluttershy knew that physically she would be unable to take out Applejack. She also remembered she was still wearing her mistress outfit underneath the robe and any tussle could expose it. "Rarity now," she said excitedly.
Applejack turned around and saw nothing but the darkness coming from Everfree. "Oh no ya don't!" she yelled out as the door shut on her. "Fluttershy, ya open up this darn door before I break it."
Pinkie Pie was feeling great. She had just finished having some private fun with Twilight and they were in the bliss of post coitus. "That was so much fun! We should so totally do it again."
Twilight blushed and rubbed her hooves together. "Right now? I mean we just finished... aren't we supposed to wait?"
Pinkie giggled. "No way! That was so much fun! I mean that thing you did with your hoof...amazing!"
Twilight hid under her blanket. "Stop you're embarrassing me. Wait what's that noise?"
Pinkie looked over and saw Tank with a look of duty and shame on his face. "Tank... you were watching? You pervy Turtle!."
"It's a tortoise…” Twilight countered. ”Wait! Tank belongs to Rainbow Dash and Rainbow Dash is thought to be missing.”
Pinkie Pie gasped. "He can lead us to Rainbow Dash! Alright Tank, you can be forgiven for being a perv, if you lead us to Rainbow Dash."
Twilight noticed how they smelled and suggested a shower before they would rush off to find their missing friend.
Rarity had been feeling guilty the entire time she ate her meal. It was delicious as well, which made it worse. She decided it was high time she stopped Fluttershy and helped Rainbow Dash escape the horrors she imagined would be taking place.
"You have saved my life plenty of times Rainbow Dash, it's time for me to save yours!" She yelled. Rarity got worked up, before charging into the darkness of the night towards Fluttershy's cottage.
With time being of the essence she didn't waste any worrying about sweating or her looks during duress. She used all the might her legs had in them to make a stride that was impressive... for a unicorn with no athletic prowess. She made it past Twilight's library ignoring the sudden appearance of Pinkie and Twilight.
Her legs grew tired as she marathoned all the way to her destination. She arrived just in time to see Applejack getting ready to break down Fluttershy's door. "Applejack, wait!"
Applejack gave Fluttershy ample time to respond and with nothing holding her back she was ready to break down the door. It wasn't until she heard somepony calling out to her that she stopped herself mid charge. "Rarity?" She asked confused.
Rarity panted in exhaustion. "Wait... don't do... what you're about to do..."
Applejack went to check on Rarity, who seemed in distress. "What's goin' on sugar cube?"
Rarity sighed. "It's about Snuggles, there is something you should know Applejack...."
Fluttershy began packing her things. "We have to go, Snuggles, we need to leave Ponyville for a while."
Rainbow Dash gave her a "are you kidding" look. "Fluttershy, what do you mean by 'we have to leave Ponyville for a while'?"
Fluttershy was leaking tears from her eyes and panicking. "We have to go... if they find you here they will lock me up or something!"
Rainbow Dash stood in her way and gave her a stern look. "Fluttershy, you need to calm down. What do you mean by they will lock you up?"
Fluttershy looked away sadly. "Ponies aren't allowed to keep other ponies as pets. When I was in the library I was reading all sorts of books on pets and critters. They said it's illegal to own a pony as a pet."
Rainbow Dash got angry. "Why didn't you tell me Shy? Look I can explain to them-"
"No! I can't risk it. Please, Snuggles, come with me... let's go together." Fluttershy had the saddest puppy dog eyes ever. She wanted to be safe and alone with her pet.
"Fluttershy, we don't have to run anywhere I can keep you safe, and plus, you have all these other animals that rely on you."
Fluttershy began shaking and sobbing uncontrollably. It was a sad sight to behold and Rainbow Dash had to bear it. "Please, Snuggles, let's go."
Rainbow Dash sighed softly. "Shy... don't worry... I will protect you." Rainbow Dash slowly wrapped a wing around Fluttershy and massaged her side slowly. "No pony will ever hurt you while I am around ok?"
Fluttershy's tears stopped leaking as much. she regained composure and nuzzled Rainbow Dash lovingly. "Promise?"
Rainbow Dash smiled and looks at her with a serious face. "I promise."
Applejack yelled "What!" as loudly as she could. "Yer meanin' to tell me that Rainbow Dash is Snuggles?"
Rarity sadly nodded. "It's true, Applejack, I had to warn you in case you're serious about breaking down the door."
Applejack felt hurt. "Is this why you showed up? To stop me?"
Rarity winced at the tone. "No... I came to stop Fluttershy myself. She came by earlier and borrowed something to use on Snug- Rainbow Dash. I wanted to stop her but.... she was menacing."
Applejack snorted angrily. "I'm goin' in there and comin' out only when I have RD with me."
Rarity didn't have the heart to tell Applejack about Rainbow Dash's initial willingness. "We aren't supposed to know Applejack... and we can't let them know that we know."
Applejack gave Rarity a look that could kill. "Yer suggesting I jus' let Fluttershy keep on doin' what she's doin'?"
Rarity grew nervous. "Well... no, but I don't want you hurting her, darling."
Applejack saw how frightened Rarity grew and calmed herself a bit. "Alright sugar cube, I promise I won't hurt Fluttershy if she ain't stoppin' me from gettin' RD outta there."
Rarity decided to blurt out something that would shock Applejack to the core. "Rainbow Dash wanted to be Fluttershy's pet!"
What Rarity heard in response only made her feel sick to the stomach. She heard three gasps instead of one, alerting her to the presence of two other ponies. "Pinkie Pie... Twilight... when did you two get here?" she nervously asked.
Twilight thought she misheard Rarity. "Did you just say, Rainbow Dash wanted to be Fluttershy's pet?"
Rarity giggled. "Oh... you heard... right well... see-"
Applejack stamped her foot in an aggressive manner. "Yes! She jus' did... can ya believe this crap?"
Pinkie Pie giggled. "So Rainbow Dash is like a doggy?"
Twilight sighed. "No Pinkie Pie... this situation isn't funny. If Snuggles is really Rainbow Dash then Fluttershy could end up locked away for a long time."
Rarity chuckled nervously. "Well I don't think we need to do anything as drastic as report this to anypony, I mean is she really hurting anypony by keeping Rainbow Dash as a pet?"
Applejack got real close to Rarity, dangerously so. "Ya ain't meanin' to tell me that I ain't hurt right now, are ya?"
Rarity gulped. "Good point... alright then... why don't we just try to be civil about all this... Fluttershy is our friend."
Twilight groaned. "This can't be happening... Fluttershy is our friend but I am also a princess... I can't allow this kind of degradation to happen on my watch."
Rarity began crying. "Please you girls... we can't lose Fluttershy... not over this. Let's just... ignore what we know and pretend we didn't find anything out."
Applejack was boiling inside, the rage of being denied justice made her stir. "Fine! if we goin' to do this then let's go now... I don't want to be near Fluttershy or her property right now."
Rarity nuzzled Applejack in gratitude. "I will escort you home Applejack... we can talk along the way."
Twilight wanted to protest but Pinkie stopped her with a hoof. "Let it go Twilight... for now let's just let everything play out. If we see Rainbow Dash and she looks like she needs help, we can do something about it."
Twilight sighed and let it go. It was her duty to stop things of this nature, since Celestia told her about things of historic traditions that were banned.
Fluttershy was lost in her own world. Blind to the events unfolding outside her cottage, she was enjoying the embrace she was in. "Snuggles, I promise I will be kind to you. I want to start over and be a better owner."
Rainbow Dash smiled and continued rubbing Fluttershy's side. "I think that would be awesome. I mean this whole being whipped... wasn't working out for me."
Fluttershy kissed Rainbow Dash's cheek softly. This will be just till you accept being my pet permanently. Then we shall move out of Ponyville and I will make sure you learn to submit properly. "You are the greatest pet in the world, Snuggles." The best part is, that you are all mine.
Rainbow Dash blushed. "Hey enough sappy stuff... can we eat dinner now? I'm starving."
Fluttershy had a wicked smile hidden from view and eagerly replied with, "Yes I think it would be nice if we had something to eat."
Applejack was walking back to Sweet Apple Acres with Rarity at her side. "I still don't get why we ain't doin' anything about this."
Rarity sighed and brushed her body along side Applejack's to toggle her mind. "If we do something about it we lose an element of harmony and a friend. I know Fluttershy has been acting odd as of late, but surely they will get bored with this whole, pet thing and things will go back to normal. I am certain Rainbow Dash wouldn't be a pony who can just sit still for too long."
Applejack brushed back and chuckled. "Yeah yer right, sugar cube, they ain't goin' to be like that for too long."
“Speaking of too long… it’s late and I’m tired. Mind if I stay the night?” Rarity asked with a small yawn.
Rarity blushed. “Who says we are sleeping in the same room? Don’t you have an extra bedroom?”
Applejack chuckled. “What extra room?”
Rarity groaned. “Fine we’re sharing a room… you get the floor. “
Applejack stopped in her tracks. “Excuse me? I’m tryin’ my hardest to do you a favor and now on top of it all you want to take over my home?”
Rarity frowned and in a whiny voice replied, “I’m sorry… I know this must be hard for you. If it makes you feel better, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy aren't romantically involved. It’s merely some sick deal that was made.”
Applejack made a small smile for a split second. “Well I rather not think about that. Let’s jus’ go to bed, plus it wasn’t so bad when we slept over Twilight’s library that one time.”
Rarity smiled softly. “I guess it wasn't… maybe tonight won’t to end badly either. We can talk a bit and then just relax as we drift to sleep.”
Applejack nuzzled Rarity gently. She wasn't feeling as bad, knowing that Rainbow Dash’s weird relationship to Fluttershy was platonic. It gave her hope that all would end well if she just stuck to her guns.
Spike, on the other hand, was watching two semi loud mares walk intimately close as they were entering the house. “So that is why she wasn't into me… I guess I never had a chance… well here’s hoping that Fluttershy’s new pet isn't into mares.”
It was morning and the sun was rising over the peaceful skies above. The town of Ponyville was hit with a storm of drama that only affected the few ponies involved in it. The morning was much more serene than the chaotic night before. With the sun shining down on the town it was giving way to a new beginning.
Rainbow Dash had woken up early as usual but instead of leaving Fluttershy asleep, she gingerly woke the canary mare up using her tongue. "Morning Fluttershy, get up so I can do my exercises." She lapped away at Fluttershy's face earning her a yawn from the sleeping mare.
Fluttershy woke up feeling amazing after their night. She had been able to lower Rainbow Dash's guard and gave her a wicked good preening. With the tongue gently stroking her face, she pretended to be sleeping to allow for more licks. After a few more laps from her pet's tongue she yawned and faced the amazing pet. "Morning Snuggles. Gosh it's early, are you ready to start the day?"
Rainbow Dash was born ready. "Yes I am Shy. I'm about to head downstairs to exercise if you are interested in joining me."
Fluttershy smiled. "No you go ahead, I will get some chores done and get a bath ready for when you're done getting stinky... then I can make you all clean and ready for breakfast."
Rainbow Dash grinned. "Awesome! Well I better get to it." She ran off, feeling more energetic than ever before.
Fluttershy saw her pet run off and had a dreamy look on her face. "I can get used to this... it didn't hurt making that preening extra relaxing. After all, now she is enjoying this more and more. I can't wait till she submits, and I will finally be so happy."
Applejack had an interesting night indeed. She woke up remembering everything that happened as soon as she saw the pony lying next to her. "Rarity?" she asked afraid of what may have occurred.
"Keep it down will you... I think I have a hangover," Rarity complained.
"What happened last night? I mean... what happened after we drank."
"Well I know we got some cider to drown away our sorrows... then you suggested in your drunken stupor to forget about Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash... then you called me sexy."
"I Did!"
"Yes and it was quite flattering, darling."
"Oh no... did we? I mean did we ya know?"
"I don't rightly know. I was pretty drunk myself and rather horny so it may have happened... which would suck because I wanted my first time to be with a handsome prince."
"Well, if we did I will be angry, because I wanted it to be with RD!"
"Stop yelling! plus... from what I do remember last night, whatever we did do was... pleasurable and fun."
"That don't mean we did it, does it?"
"Not necessarily, but there's a high probability we both lost control and reacted on instinct."
"So should we jus' end the mystery and lift the blanket?"
"If you must... but whatever happens, I want you to know... I had fun last night."
"Me too sugar cube, it was nice not worrying about feathered ponies for once."
"So how about we just don't lift the blankets and we pretend nothing happened. That way if it did or didn't, nopony is the wiser?"
"I can't, ya know that, I’m the element of honesty. I need to find out what happened last night... and take responsibility for it."
Applejack went to lift the sheets to discover if they had indeed soiled them with fluids but her hoof was held down. "You love Rainbow Dash, and I don't want to be the pony that spoiled your chances," Rarity said softly.
"So ya want me to lie? That's not the apple way."
"Fine... lift the sheets..."
"Okay here it goes."
Applejack lifted the sheets revealing that in their drunken stupor they did in fact have sex. She was devastated with the results and Rarity began crying. "Oh no... of all the worst things that could happen, this is the! Worst! Possible! Thing!"
Applejack got off the bed and looked out the window. She didn't have any words to say, and she didn't know what she would say to Rainbow Dash. "I guess I'll have to talk to RD during the pony pet play date today. I don't know how she'll take it."
Rarity got off the bed and rushed to Applejack's side. "If she treats you bad because of my mistake, I will hurt her," Rarity said with passion. She felt so guilty and apologetically nuzzled Applejack's face.
Applejack then went wide eyed with shock. "Oh let's just hope we didn't make too many loud noises last night."
Rarity became nervous. "That's right your family are more traditional... oh no..."
Applejack gulped. "It isn't jus' my family, sugar cube. Spike was at the barn all night, since Pinkie and Twilight bunkin' together at the library."
Rarity felt sick. "Poor Spike... we have to tell him about Fluttershy's pet, but how? If he heard this, will he even listen?"
Applejack sighed. "I sure hope so, Rares. Looks like things are going bad for everypony lately. Let's jus' hope things don't stay this way."
Twilight was very comfortable when she woke up. "Pinkie...I can get used to this," Twilight said dreamily. "Are you sure you have to work this morning."
Pinkie chuckled. "I knew you had a sweet tooth, just didn't know you loved the taste of Pinkie Pie."
Twilight blushed. "You're terrible."
"Oh you know you love it, sweet stuff. As to your question, yes, I do have to go to work," Pinkie replied.
Twilight groaned. "Arg, fine! Get to work, I am going to find Spike."
Pinkie giggled as she got out of bed. "Oh Twilight, I think you might have an addiction to pie. Luckily for me it isn't apple pie."
Twilight tossed a pillow at her evading body and groaned. "Yeah well... ugh."
Spike woke up angrily so. The night before he was able to hear it all. The first set of noises disoriented him from sleep but the more amorous noises of pleasure made him grow in anger. "I can't believe they did it... is that why I was forced to the barn so I wouldn't be trouble for them? Well it doesn't matter... I am so over Rarity anyways... and Fluttershy's pet will be my one true love."
He began walking towards the library and left the farm but heard noises again and saw Applejack and Rarity nuzzling each other. "Yeah it's obviously this has been going on for a while," he whispered sadly. He felt used by Rarity, thinking about how Applejack and her have been betraying him this whole time.
Little did he know that his evidence was circumstantial and all of his accusations were false.
Later in the day it was time for the Pony Pet Play Date. The event that happened every at the park. The group of friends would bring their pets and play with them peacefully. It was usually a calm event and free of drama.
Fluttershy brought Angel Bunny and secretly brought her other pet. She ordered Rainbow Dash to go about her usual business during the play session at the park. Once the pony pet play date was over it was back to wearing a collar and being ordered around.
Rainbow Dash was going to have to explain her absence to her friends. She rehearsed something believable and hoped they would buy it. She brought Tank with her and felt good about being able to have some, one on one, time with him. She felt neglectful of the little tortoise and that began to worry her.
Applejack brought Winona and was not her usual excited self. The entire morning became complicated when she was confronted about the wild night she had. Her family could hear them moaning and groaning at all hours of the night. Rarity was there when it happened and she remained silent and red faced.
Rarity had went back to her shop/home after that and got ready for the day. She washed herself of Applejack's scent and even tried grooming opal with major retaliation. When she arrived she noticed how gloomy Applejack was and felt guilty.
Pinkie Pie was excited as usual and even had gummy riding on her back with his jaws clamped around her mane. She was glad to be able to spend some more time with twilight and had made some delicious treats this morning which sold easily. Absence makes the heart grow fonder and now Pinkie knew why.
Twilight wasn't as excited as Pinkie was. She had been consoling a depressed baby dragon that had been mislead to believe things he had imagined in his head. Then the worst part was she had to inform him of Fluttershy's new pet. It was the worst thing ever. She was going to cancel on showing up but felt it would be wrong to not show up and at least explain why she couldn't make it.
When they all arrived it was quiet and peaceful until Applejack got close to Rainbow Dash. That motion of them getting closer made Fluttershy become angry. "That darn Appleslut... why does she have to crowd around Snuggles like that."
Rarity blushed. "Yes, she does seem to be crowding your pet... just remember no one knows about your relationship so don't cause a scene."
Fluttershy watched as the two mares were getting chummy and their bodies were moving closer to each other. She began snorting steam out her nose, and getting ready to charge.
Rarity saw this and was shocked at how jealous Fluttershy was. "Fluttershy, you need to calm down before you do something rash."
"No!" Fluttershy yelled out catching the attention of every pony there. "Sorry... I just really disagreed with something Rarity said."
Twilight felt this was her cue to address a certain issue. "Speaking about Rarity, it seems your sudden relationship with Applejack made Spike a bit upset. He thinks you two have been together secretly behind his back. I told him it wasn't true, but still he was crying about it."
Fluttershy grinned at the information. "So then Applejack is with Rarity? Oh that's great news. You two will be happy together!"
Rainbow Dash felt a bit bummed out. "Well that's... something else."
Applejack was in tears. "I'm not with Rarity... I jus' had sex with her."
Pinkie Pie gasped. "But I thought you loved Rainbow Dash... "
Rarity felt bad and tried to salvage the situation. "Well it's just we got drunk and it was my fault."
Fluttershy saw the reaction and got angry. "Yeah she says she does... but look at what she did behind your back ... oh that must hurt doesn't it?"
Applejack gave Fluttershy a look that could kill. "Ya know what Fluttershy, ya ain't so innocent yourself! Or should I tell Rainbow Dash about the massage Rarity gave ya, while ya weren't drunk?"
Fluttershy flared her wings in aggression. "Or I could tell you about the preening I gave Rainbow Dash while we weren't drunk. It's much more interesting."
Rainbow Dash felt uncomfortable about the whole situation. "Are you two fighting over me? If so you both are wasting your time. I don't do relationships."
Fluttershy snorted in anger. "Shut your mouth, Snuggles!"
The silence that followed was stagnant. The tensions between all parties grew as the situation escalated. Fluttershy began shaking in fear and ran with tears flowing down her face. Rainbow Dash just froze as she mentally checked out of the entire awkward moment. Applejack walked away angrily and felt like speaking to nopony at all. Rarity wasn't sure who to console but knew who to blame. Twilight was filled with guilt and couldn't shake the feeling that things were going to get worse. Pinkie Pie felt her Pinkie Sense go off.
Rarity rushed to Rainbow Dash's side. "I know you are in there and you have to listen right now. You have two distinct choices. You can either go after Fluttershy and calm her down or you can go after Applejack."
Rainbow Dash stayed silent but flapped her wing in acknowledgement of what she was saying.
"If you choose to go after Applejack then you must let be honest with her about how you feel, and I will go after Fluttershy and stop her from doing something stupid. If you go after Fluttershy then I am going to take my chances with Applejack and well... I will give her the love you can't."
Rainbow Dash flapped her wing again letting Rarity know she is understanding her so far. She was trying to digest what took place and how she could save face in all this.
"So Rainbow Dash... which is it? You can't be at two places at once, and they both need you... I will be honest. I hope you choose Fluttershy. Because last night I had an amazing time with Applejack, and this may be selfish of me to say this but... I think she deserves someone who is emotionally stable."
Rainbow Dash snapped. "Well what about what I think? You have no idea how I feel about all this..."
Rarity looked into Rainbow Dash's eyes and asked slowly. "How do you feel about all this?"
Rainbow Dash opened her mouth and replied with, "I feel that I should go after... "
Fluttershy was packing her things. "Angel Bunny, I have to run away, it's not safe here anymore." She was flooding her house with tears as she went on gathering her things. "Don't worry, we can start a new life somewhere new."
Angel Bunny tapped his foot on the wet ground. Each pitiful second that passed caused the ground to get damp. He tried telling her that he could protect her from any pony who dares attack.
"Oh Angel Bunny, you're sweet," Fluttershy said while letting out a small chuckle. She sniffled as the sadness of her situation overcame the three seconds of joy.
Applejack was at her farm bucking trees extra hard. "Stupid heart, stupid love... stupid trees." She bucked a tree almost breaking it in half. "Consarn it all, I can't work like this."
She began walking towards the farm contemplating life and everything surrounding it. "If only there was a pony that would love me for me." She laughed at herself lowly. She arrived at her house and was in shock when she saw a pony there waiting for her. "What are ya doin' here..."
Fluttershy had everything packed and was ready to go. She opened the door to her cottage and gasped at the surprise visitor. "Ra... Ra..."
The pony in question decided to speak. "I honestly didn't think I would come here. Something inside me told me to show up. I don't know what I can say to you, or how to make things better. I just know that, when I picture you sad or hurt, I want to comfort you."
Fluttershy was shocked at the heartfelt words. After all she did to the pony standing in front of her she thought it would have been an opposite reaction. "Why? Why do you care? What I did to you... isn't right."
The pony smiled softly. "I never said it was... I just know that I came here. I came to you first, out of all ponies."
"Why?" Fluttershy asked with her heart pounding.
The pony grinned. "Isn't it obvious Shy? A pet is always loyal to it's owner."
Fluttershy tackled Rainbow Dash and held her close. "This can't be happening... is this really happening?"
Rainbow Dash chuckled. "Yeah, I think it is."
Fluttershy began crying. "This is so unfair... you returned to me just as I'm about to leave. I know you won't come with me."
Rainbow Dash held Fluttershy's face with her hooves and looked into her eyes. "What kind of pet would I be if I just let you leave without me tagging along? I know you think I have some grand destiny, but I choose my own path in life. I want this, whatever this is. I don't care what it becomes either. So if you plan on leaving, you better take me with you."
Fluttershy sniffled and buried her muzzle into Rainbow Dash's neck. "Thank you, Snuggles."
"No problem, Shy." Rainbow Dash gently held Fluttershy in her hooves and stayed there till Fluttershy stopped crying. It was an emotional moment that she hoped never to endure again. She wasn't the pony who liked emotions or sappy stuff.
Fluttershy waited till her face could make a gentle smile again before separating herself from her pet. "Alright Snuggles, if you're coming along then let's get you ready."
Applejack was still angry and didn't really feel like talking to any pony. Though, Rarity, wasn't going to budge an inch. "Listen, darling, I know this situation isn't ideal. Still, if you want somepony to love I know a great pony without feathers who will be happy to take on the role of your love interest."
Applejack chuckled. "Seriously, who's gonna love me? I'm jus' a simple farm pony. Nothin' special bout me."
Rarity frowned. "You're wrong about that, Applejack. You're an amazing pony and any pony in their right mind would be honored to be yours."
Applejack blushed. "Ya really mean that, sugar cube?"
Rarity nodded gently. "Indeed I do. Heck even if was a drunken affair, I still enjoyed our short time together. I was hoping we could spend more time together... sober."
Applejack beamed. "Well I'd be delighted to. Let's spend some time gettin' to know each other."
Rarity smiled wickedly. "Yes, let's get to know more about each other... in my room."
Applejack chuckled nervously. "I don't think we should move so fast."
Rarity grinned. "I know we should move fast." She began walking closer to the nervous Applejack.
Applejack mulled her options and threw caution to the wind. "Oh heck let's do it."
Rarity leaned in and whispered gently. "Oh we shall."
Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash were packed and ready to leave. They had no destination and didn't need any. They had the most important thing in their lives. They had each other, and it was all they needed. The two pegasi headed to the train station with all their luggage. It was a slow journey but meaningful one.
Rainbow Dash nuzzled Fluttershy as they walked side by side. "You sure you don't want to at least say goodbye?"
Fluttershy frowned. "No... I think right now it would just be best if I left. I can't face them right now."
Rainbow Dash sighed. "Trust me, Shy, they seemed pretty alright with it. Still if you rather not then we won't stop."
Fluttershy began crying. "What am I doing?"
Rainbow Dash stopped and held Fluttershy close with her wing. "Something wrong?"
Fluttershy leaned into Rainbow Dash's embrace. "I ... I can't leave the animals behind. I just can't."
Rainbow Dash smiled. "Then don't. I promise you, I will always keep you safe."
Fluttershy sniffled a bit. "You promise?"
Rainbow Dash wiped away Fluttershy's tears before responding. "Yeah, I do."
Fluttershy rubbed her muzzle against Rainbow Dash's cheek. "You truly are the best pet in the world, Snuggles."
Rainbow Dash cheekily licked Fluttershy's face earning her a blush. "I guess I am, huh."
Fluttershy leaned into Rainbow Dash's ear and whispered, "But I think you would make a better marefriend."
Rainbow Dash looked deep into Fluttershy's eyes. "I have never loved any pony before, romantically at least. I don't know how to be tender and warm, as a lover would. The only thing I know is ... I have never felt this way towards any pony before. I allowed you to do things to me, that no pony ever could. So what I guess I am saying is... let's see what becomes of us. I still have a month before I get back to work and the animals can be taken care of temporarily. I say we do this, we leave for a vacation with just us."
Fluttershy's heart fluttered. "Really? Oh ... let's do this... this sounds fun. Woo hoo!"
One month passed since that day. A group of ponies and a baby dragon had been gathered to greet the returning ponies. The train passengers had all exited in normal pace. Two passengers with their tails linked and their bodies touching were exiting the train.
The two ponies were immediately greeted. "Hey guys!" Pinkie shouted in joy. Pinkie's life had been hectic since dating Twilight. In the month that past she had been escorting Twilight to royal events and royal balls. The shock of the princess dating another mare was stifled by Celestia's acceptance of the pair.
Twilight was equally excited. She wanted to know how their bonding experience was. She had to take notes on it for science! "Hey you two, welcome back."
Rarity was glad to see Fluttershy in one piece. "Oh, darlings, we missed you girls terribly." She and Applejack had a great relationship that was recently made public to Ponyville. There was this one neigh sayer about it, but Big Mac handled that. Overall, the town was more accepting than feared.
Applejack had accepted that she wasn't going to be with Rainbow Dash. She moved on quickly thanks to some 'help' from Rarity. "Howdy partners, long time no see." The Apple clan weren’t too thrilled about Applejack’s choice of partners. It wasn’t the fact that Rarity was a mare or unicorn that bugged them. It was her need to make everyone pretty.
Spike was the most eager to see Fluttershy again. He was the one with the task of caring for the critters since he did so before. "Oh thank Celestia! I'm free now! Free I tell ya!" He had one month of the most brutal hell he ever had to endure. He learned why Fluttershy had no job and how much of a blessing she was to Ponyville. Those animals got vicious when they weren’t fed properly.
The four ponies that showed up to greet the two returning ones, noticed something on Rainbow Dash's neck that looked like a collar. Attached to the collar was a tag that read "Snuggles." They gasped as Fluttershy had one of her own and on the tag attached it said "Nibbles."
Rarity giggled excitedly. "Oh how marvelous! You two are perfect for each other."
Rainbow Dash smiled at that and spoke with passion. "I won't lie it wasn't an easy journey for us. It took me a while to open up and allow myself to be vulnerable enough to love. I realized while Fluttershy and I, were enjoying the sunny days that... this mare right here..." she nuzzled Fluttershy gently. "Is the mare I love."
After a chorus of "D'aaw" and a blushing Fluttershy was calmed. Spike decided to ask the only logical question. "So why is she named Nibbles anyways?
Rainbow Dash laughed. "One day Spike, when you get older, I'll tell you exactly why she is called Nibbles."
it was ten years after Spike was denied the meaning of Fluttershy's nickname. Spike had grown into an adult dragon traveling the world continuing his search of knowledge and purpose in life. He had far outgrown his pony family when he reached his teen years. He was able to watch from a distance the progress of his pony family's life.
Rarity and Applejack had broken up, then got back together, then broken up, then got married. He never had seen such whirlwind romance in his life. It was chaotic but in the end they had settled down with each other. They even adopted a foal and used magic to have one of their own.
Twilight and Pinkie Pie became the first gay married royal couple in Equestria. Pinkie Pie became corrupt with power and declared one day out of the year to be a celebration of snacks and treats known as Cake Day. Twilight immediately corrected the situation and Pinkie Pie no longer had any say in royal proceedings. They took over the castle in Canterlot since it gave Celestia and Luna a long needed vacation.
Celestia and Luna decided to vacation and let Twilight be responsible. They went together to travel Equestria and the foreign nations and haven't returned to Equestria yet.
Rainbow Dash became a sensation. she was the, self proclaimed, best wonderbolt ever. With the money she made from performing, her wife had funneled the bits into an account and invested wisely. Now after ten years of performing and taking some time off Rainbow Dash had retired with enough bits to buy Equestria three times over.
Fluttershy was the richest trophy wife/ animal caretaker in all Equestria. She had an enormous animal sanctuary that she maintained with the help of the hired hooves. She and Rainbow Dash had 5 foals in the span of the 10 years. It turns out that Fluttershy had a thing for having foals.
Rainbow Dash was getting ready for bed and had something on her mind ever since she was accepted as a pet ten years ago. She snuggled up to her wife of many years and looked into her eyes. "Hey babe."
Fluttershy smiled sleepily. "Yes my love?"
"Why did you actually take me in as a pet all those years ago?"
"To be honest I thought it was just you being silly... I thought if I took you in then you would stop the joke and resume your day."
"So when you knew it wasn't a joke, why did you keep me on?"
"Because I loved you so much, and I was too scared to admit it. So I decided if I couldn't have you as a lover, I could at least have you close to me."
"Wow... that's kinda deep."
"Love?"
"Yeah, Shy?"
"Why did you choose me to take care of you all those years ago?"
"The truth?"
"Yeah."
"Because when I thought about who I could trust with my life, and who I could spend my life with, the only pony I could think of was you."
Nothing else was said that night. The love they had for each other rung through the corridors as they passionately celebrated their life together. The two ponies that had always belonged to each other but never knew till that one fateful day when Rainbow Dash became Fluttershy’s new pet.
