Twilight sparkle is sitting in the main room of the library doing her weekly book reorganizing when she heard a knock on her door. Books hover everywhere, sounded by the magical telltale glow of a unicorn's telepathy. Twilight managed to pick up every book and manage to make them all levitate in midair without dropping them all like she used to. Not just she levitated the books, she knows exactly where each book is located and where they are going; even if she can't recall every title quite yet.
At this moment is when Twilight hears a knocking on her door. "Come in" she shouted as her mind is else where.
"Hey Twilight" said Pinkie pie in her usual chipper tone of voice. "Got any children books you think would be good for me to read to Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake". Twilight yet to turn around yet as she still absorb in her weekly ritual. Oh you came at a good time, I was about to reorganize all the books" spoken Twilight. "Again" exclaimed Pinkie, "you do this once a week".
Twilight did not seems to register Pinkie's remarks as she searches for the nearest Children's book.
"Oh here is a good one Pinkie, this one is a classic" said Twilight in the same energetic tone that she used when she recommended the Danger Do series to Rainbow Dash during her Hospital stay. Twilight Levitate the book into Pinkie's Hooves. "It is Winnie the" Twilight said before she was interrupted by Pinkie, "perfect see you later" as Pinkie ran out the door with the book. Twilight finished her statement "pooh".
Pinkie pie skipping as she returns to Sugar Cube corner looks at the title "The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh"
Pinkie though for a second "Winnie the WHAT"? "Winnie the Pooh"? "Pooh as in Poop"?
In Pinkie's mind she imagined a felt-cut cartoon Poop with eyes and a mouth. "No-no-no" that can't be right, Twilight would recommend that for Pound and Pumpkin. Pinkie tries to reconfirm her as she opens up the book.
Inside Pinkie saw a image of a small yellow plush bear and something that resembles a pig and a tiger. Pinkie scans the book quickly to confirm that the name Winnie the Pooh is the bear. And with that Pinkie is satisfied with Twilight's Judgement.
Pinkie walked into the babies play room as Pumpkin and Pound cake played. The two babies eyes grew big and bright with excitement that "Auntie Pinkie Pie" is home. "Who wants story time" exclaimed Pinkie. The two young ponies only nodded in agreement as nether one are old enough to talk yet.
Pinkie Pie spoke in the tone of voice only an adult could while reading a book to children, especially a book like Winnie the Pooh. Pinkie told the young filly and colt about Pooh, and his friends Pigglet, Tigger, Rabbit, Eyore and there Adventures in The Hundred Acre Woods. Pinkie being Pinkie did voices for each character, as she imagine they would be, Pooh had a slow but some what high pitched voice, Pigget had a quiet and mousey voice, and Tigger, Pinkie pie spoke with excitement and enthusiasm. Before Pinkie know it both Pumpkin and Pound cake are asleep in their crib, with smiles on there faces. Pinkie then though to her self a little nap is a good idea.
Pinkie awoke to find her self in a bright and picturesque place, even for Equestria standards. She looked around and saw a very familiar Tree House. The sign above read "Mr Sanders" and a smaller secondary sign that read "ring also" with the S backwards. Excited with her new found discovery, pinkie knows where she is at. Pinkie knocks on the wooden door.
Behind the door a slow but high pitch voice spoke "oh bother, always during snack time" The voice called out louder "Who is it if you may please". Pinkie Pie said in her usually bubbly way "Hi I am Pinkie Pie". The Wooden door creaked open reveling the anamorphic bear, looking up at his unannounced guess with his tiny beady eyes. The Bear spoke "Oh Hello Pinkie Pie my name is Pooh, Winnie the Pooh". At this moment Pinkie Pie understood how Dashie gets when she get to meet the Wonderbolts. Pinkie Pie said all in one breath "HIIAMPINKIEPIEANDTHISMUSTBETHEHUNDREDACREWOODSAND" Pooh only looked confused, such a small bear with such a tiny brain can't comprehend all that this pink horse thingy just said. Pooh interrupt by saying "oh bother so much being said and my brain in my head too small to understand what was just said". Pinkie Pie just realized maybe she should go slowly and more calmly so the bear can comprehend whats being said. "Hi I am Pinkie Pie, but you can call me Pinkie, want to be friends". Pooh let out his normally amused chuckle "oh that is all, of course I be your friend Pinkie". "One can never have too many friends" said Pooh as if he was rehearsed the line. "Would you like to come in, I still got a smackle of honey I could offer" asked Pooh. Pinkie looked inside the simple home and saw on the table was a pot labeled "hunny". Pinkie shrugged her shoulders as a guested of why not and said "oakadie dokidie".

After Pinkie had a small bit of Honey and watch Pooh finished off the rest of the "hunny" pot there was a knock on Pooh's door. Pooh open the door to see who it is, it is Poohs friend Piglet."Oh hi Piglet" Pooh said, "Want to meet my friend" Pooh spoke. Before Pooh gets out another word, Pinkie pie exclaimed "HELLO PIGLET I AM PINKIE PIE". Piglet ran terrified, "o-o-oh d-d-d-dear a v-v-v-very big animal come to g-g-gobble me up". Pinkie pie already outside in a manner only possible for Pinkie and cartoon characters was in front of where Piglet was running and Piglet runs into Pinkie. Pinkie spoke in a quieter calmer voice " I will not eat you silly, Ponies don't eat other animals". Piglet is kinda of startled as wasn't this big pink animal just over there in Pooh's house? "P-p-p-ponies" stuttered Piglet. "That's right" said Pinkie as chipper as she did not scared poor Piglet. "Ponies eat apples, and corn, and hay, and daises, and carrots and cupcakes and pie, and cherries" said Pinkie. "But we never eat small animals, I like animals has friends, but you know who like animals more than I do, my friend Fluttershy who takes cares for and loves animals" Pinkie said.
Piglet said to him self "Flutter-shy, w-w-w-what is a F-F-F-Fl-utter-shy". Pinkie spoke "oh Fluttershy is a pony like me, but shes a Pegasus pony and has wings". Piglet is kinda confused, in his itty-bitty life he never heard of ponies with wings, and what is a "p-p-pe-goosteses" though Piglet. Pooh said "there you are Piglet" as Pooh walked out of his house and closing the door behind him. Pooh does not realize Pinkie was already outside in what should be a physical impossibility Pooh just brushes this off as he forgot something again. Piglet is calmer now although still confused about Pinkie is at least convinced that Pinkie is not going to gobble him up. "Pooh" said Piglet "we are supposed to see Eyore today and help rebuild his house". "Pooh brings his paw up to his head as if he trying to think of what Piglet said and trying to remember something about Eyore.
"Were supposed to do something today said Pooh". "something about Eyore's house". "Oh you forgot again' said Piglet.
Pinkie Pie interrupts and said "lets all go help Eyore, every pony can use a hoof now and then". "And Poohs" said Pooh. "A-a-a-and small timid animals like my self said Piglet". At this point Pinkie Pie realizes the common Equestrian phrase 'every pony' does not apply in the Hundred Acer Woods. Pinkie corrects her self and said "every critter then".
And Pooh, Piglet and Pinkie Pie was off to Eyore's place to 'rebuild his house'.
When the trio get there, the 3 of them saw a sad looking donkey sitting by a pile of sticks with a single rain cloud raining over just the donkey and his 'home" if you can call it that. "Why so glum chum" said Pinkie rushing over to the donkey. "Oh its nothing, just that my house fell over, it's raining over just over my self and my tail fell off again".
Pinkie looked over to where the Donkey was pointing. "Gaww" said Pinkie as she saw the Donkey tail laying on the ground with a tac pressed though the top of the tail. Pinkie quickly picked up the disembodies tail and stuck the tac hard into the Donkey's rear. That is when the "Donkey let out a yell "Owwwwww". Pooh and piglet just caught up with Pinkie. Pooh and Piglet said together "Hi Eyore". "Thanks for noticing" said Eyore the donkey Pinkie just helped. Pooh said "this is our new friend Pinko or something" Piglet corrects Pooh's forgetful ways and said "y-y-y-you mean Pinkie P-p-pie". Pinkie looked up at the solitary rain cloud, she bet Rainbow Dash would clear that cloud before you know it. Pinkie pie picks up and movies Eyore out of the rain shower. Then as a momentary delay, the rain cloud as quickly covers Eyore. Pinkie repeat the process several times before realizing the situation is hopeless. Piglet picking up the sticks near by saying "is this why you need help fixing your house". Then Pinkie just realized Eyore lives in a simple 'house' made out sticks leaning to each other in what looked like a makeshift tent minus the fabric. "This will not do at all Eyore" said Pinkie. Eyore looked confused. "But those sticks are my house" said Eyore. Then Pinkie pie heard Rainbow Dash's voice saying "Pinkie, Pinkie get up".
Pinkie awoke to her loft, on top of Sugar Cube corners where she lived, to her side stood her friend Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow said "Pinkie what is a Eyore"? Pinkie just realized her time in the Hundred Acre Woods is just a dream and wait where is Pumpkin cake and Pound Cake. "Where are the babies" yelled Pinkie. "Relax Pinkie, Mr and Mrs Cake has the babies and where taking out to the park". Pinkie breathed a sigh of relief. Rainbow Dash said "Pinkie you where talking in your sleep" what is a Eyore"? "Oh that is right" said Pinkie. Pinkie Showed Rainbow Dash the book Twilight loaned her and showed her the illustration of Eyoer standing under a single rain cloud. "Oh I can get rid of that rain cloud easily" boasted Rainbow Dash. "That's what I told them" said Pinkie. Rainbow Dash almost burst out laughing "you mean you dreamed you where in this book with that sad little toy donkey". "Dashie we got to help him, even an imaginary friend is still a friend" said Pinkie. Dash said "umm Pinkie we supposed to look around for a birthday present for Fluttershy today, her birthday is next week". Pinkie had a though (in felt of course). "Eyore had no home, and Fluttershy has a home for lots and lots of animals" Said Pinkie as if she was speaking to the reader of this story. "And Fluttershy's birthday is next week". Rainbow Dash looked confused "are you okay Pinkie"? Hey Dashie you think Rarity is home right now" Pinkie said ignoring Dash's question. "Yeah" said Rainbow Dash. "then I got an idea for Fluttershy's present". With the book in toe, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash walked up to Carousel boutique, Rarity's home and shop. As they walked in Rarity was putting the last details on a blue sapphire dress. "Hi darlings, it will be just a minuet" said Rarity". Pinkie Pie said "Rarity do you do plush animals"? "Of course Pinkie what you have in mind". Pinkie pulled out the book, the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and flipped over to a illustration of Eyore. "Rarity can you make that" said Pinkie. Rarity looked at the cute but sad little stuffed donkey. "Oh he does look cute, in a sad sort of way" said Rarity. "thats why I need you to make this for a present to Fluttershy" said Pinkie. "Eyore needs a home and Fluttershy would take good care of him". Rarity didn't bother to rationalize Pinkie's twisted logic but the idea making a plush animal based on the illustration as a present for Fluttershy's next birthday is an excellent idea. "Can I hold on to that book for a few days" said Rarity. "I don't mind except it belongs to Twilight" said Pinkie. "That is okay, I return it to Twilight for you if you want" said Rarity. "Actually I am expecting Twilight any minuet now so we can let her know that I have the book". "Hey Rarity are you home" rang out Twilight's voice as she entered. "Hi Twilight, mind if I hold on to the book you loan to Pinkie for a few days"? Twilight said "I don't mind if Pinkie doesn't". At that moment Pinkie blurt out everything that happened, how she read the book to the Cake babies, and her dream and how she now wants Rarity to make a plush Eyore for Fluttershy. Twilight also gives up trying to figure out what in the world is actually going though Pinkie's mind but likes the idea of a Eyore for Fluttershy.
A few days gone by, and Pinkie visits Rarity's place again. "Hey Rarity" yelled Pinkie. "How did it came out" said Pinkie.
"Marvelous" said Rarity. "And look how cute he is" said Rarity in a tone of voice that mares usually used for cute things.
There sat on Rarity's end table was this cute but sad little donkey plushie, it's big eyes showed a kindness that's only matches by Fluttershy.
Later next week at Fluttershy's birthday party, it seems to be every pony that Fluttershy ever called friend is invited and a few guest who are not ponies. Pinkie yelled out "open mine, open the one I got you". Fluttershy said in her usually timid voice "if you want". As she tore the gift wrap and open the box, Fluttershy saw the dumpy but cute looking plushie". "Oh I love it" said Fluttershy as she firmly hugged the plushed Eyore. She placed the toy down to open the next present.
And there sat Eyore, although a toy he no longer look sad but happy as he finally has a home that holds up to the rain.
