A continuation of Wub Radio by Nexosaur. Vinyl Scratch works with other DJs on a special radio station with questions submitted by the listeners.
It's back and better then ever!
After weeks of struggling to secure the funds required to continue broadcasting Wub Radio has returned to the airwaves.
Vinyl Scratch and her new talk show friends discuss questions that are submitted to them by their listeners. And things quickly get out of control. After all you never know what those DJs are getting up to.
New chapters will be uploaded on a weekly basis with hopefully at least two chapters per week. All chapters will answer questions submitted in the comments section. All questions must be PG-13 or under. (Nothing Mature)
"Yup." F3tlock said, "Everything is in place. All the equipment is running smoothly."
"And the funds?" Twirls asked.
"I've got it covered!" Vinyl Scratch said, "Tavi agreed to pitch in and together we agreed to fund it with some of the money from our shows. And we're already planning a fundraiser to secure more funds."
"Well it's about time!" Techbeat said, "I hope you realize that our abscence means we're going to have a lot of letters to respond to right off the bat."
"Oh relax Techbeat." Draft Punk said, "We can handle the extra workload."
"Yup." Zone said, "I made sure to keep the letters in a safe location until we could answer them."
"Yeah well just remember that we're only going back on the air for a little bit tonight." Twirls said, "This is just to let our listeners know that we're not dead. We're not responding to any letters."
"We know." Vinyl Scratch said, "You've told us that like a hundred times already."
"Well forgive me for being so cautious." Twirls said, "Wub Radio is my pride and joy and I certainly don't want its reputation to be ruined."
"You've got nothing to worry about Twirls." F3tlock said, "We know what we're doing."
"All the same I think I'll go over the rules one last time." Twirls said, "Remember that we're not allowed to discuss content that goes above PG-13 so keep your immature comments to yourself if you don't mind."
"But that's part of what makes this so fun." Vinyl Scratch said.
"You may think it's fun but our listeners sure won't." Twirls said, "This station is not going to get yanked off the air on my watch. Even if I have to crack some skulls to do so."
"Okay okay we understand." Zone said, "We'll try to keep the more 'naughty' stuff to a minimum."
"Guess that's close enough." Twirls said, "And remember we're not answering any letters tonight. We can do that on our next show."
"We know!" the DJ's replied.
"All right then." Twirls said, "Let's not keep our audience waiting any longer. Everyone take your seats!"
In the corner of the room the "ON AIR" sign flicked on.
"Hello citizens of Canterlot! What's up?!" Twirls said, "Don't you dare touch that dial! You're not hearing things. Wub Radio is back on the air baby!"
"Yeah!" Vinyl Scratch cheered, "Sorry we've been gone for so long but we needed to secure the funds to keep this awesome station going."
"We're going to keep coming to you live from our studio." F3tlock said, "And starting with our next show we'll start answering listener submitted questions."
"But for tonight we just want you all to know that we're back and the good times are here to stay!" Zone said, "So keep tunning in at the normal time. And submit your questions to our studio address."
"That's all for tonight." Draft Punk said ,"We'll back on the air at this time tomorrow night and every night. Wub Radio is here to stay!"
The "ON AIR" sign switched off and all the DJs high fived each other.
"That was so fucking awesome!" Vinyl Scratch said.
"I know." Twirls said, "Thank Celestia you guys all came and helped me out. Otherwise this show would be dead."
"Heh you know us, we'll do anything to help a fellow DJ." Draft Punk said.
"Indeed you will." Twirls said, "Now go home and get some rest. You guys are going to need all the energy you can get for tomorrow."
"Yeah no kidding." F3tlock said, "But perhaps you should look into getting drinks to keep us all awake. Like expresso."
"No way am I bringing drinks in." Twirls said, "One little spill could spell disaster for us all. And I'm not gonna let you guys smuggle in your own drinks. Especially not stuff like 'Applejack Daniels'."
"Relax." Zone said "We were only kidding." Everyone except Twirls then laughed.
"Very funny guys." Zone said, "But I'm serious about the drinks thing. And the same goes for food. If you guys bring any of that stuff in here I'm gonna throw it out."
"Octy wouldn't let me smuggle out food anyway." Vinyl Scratch said "Especially not after that time I slipped a habanero pepper into her sandwich."
"Ah man you have to tell us that story some time." Draft Punk said, "That was probably so fucking funny."
"I would but I don't feel like embarassing Octavia." Vinyl Scratch said, "Plus after that stunt she made me sleep on the couch for a week."
"Oh man you must've really pissed her off." F3tlock said.
"Yeah I'm not going to be doing that again any time soon." Vinyl Scratch said. She then left the station and headed home. "I'm home Octy!" she called out loudly. She then realized her mistake, Octavia was likely sleeping "Oops." she said to herself. Without saying another word she silently slipped upstairs, quickly showered to remove any lingering smells from the station, and then climbed into bed with Octavia and fell fast asleep.
Vinyl Scratch carefully tiphoofed out of her house. Octavia had a big performance tomorrow and she did not want to wake her up. She knew how grumpy Octavia could be when she didn't get enough sleep.
She made her way through the streets of Canterlot until she arrived at her destination.
"Ah Vinyl good to see you again." Twirls said.
"Same here Twirsl." Vinyl said "I'm looking forward to answering some questions again."
"Well then come along, We don't have all night." Twirls said.
"So PON-3's here huh? Well about time." F3tlock said.
"Quiet everyone." Twirls said "We're going on the air soon. Are the questions ready?"
"Yup. Got em right here." Draft Punk replied.
"Okay. Places everyone." Twirls said. All the DJs took their seats. The "ON AIR" sign flashed and lit up.
"Hello citizens of Canterlot. You're listening to Wub Radio, the most rocking radio station in Equestria." Twirls said "Tonight we are pleased to announce the return of listener's choice where we answer questons submitted by you, our faitful listeners."
"Ah yeah!" Techbeat said "And first up we have this question. 'What do you guys think of the princesses? Just to recap there are currently four. Celestia, Luna, Cadence, and Twilight Sparkle."
"A very good question." Zone said "Let's start with Twirls. So do what you think of our princesses?"
"That's a bit of a tough one." Twirls said "But Celestia's always kind and caring. Luna's a bit hot tempered. Cadence I haven't really seen. And Twilight Sparkle I only know of her feats prior to becoming a princess. How bout you Vinyl?"
"Celestia's okay I guess." Vinyl said "But like with Octy man is she uptight. Luna's a lot more fun loving and sometimes I catch her at one of my perfomances. Cadence from what I've seen of her is pretty nice. And Twilight Sparkle, well when I last saw her was still a bit of an egghead and wouldn't surprise me if she still is. What do you think Draft Punk?"
"Well I haven't really seen any of the princesses all that much." Draft Punk said "Celestia seems nice though. Got anything to add Techbeat?"
"I've played a few gigs all over Equestria." Techbeat replied "Celestia and Luna are okay but they're kind of old. Then again they have been ruling for a long time. Cadence? Boy let me tell ya if she weren't already married I'd wanna get hitched to her, she's got a smoking hot body and plot. And as for Twilight, she's a nerd plain and simple. But is she kind of hot I guess. F3tlock do you have anything to add?"
"I think all the princesses are fine." F3tlock said "Though I gotta admit because she's still single I'll bet Princess Twilight's got all the stallions in Equestria lining up at her door. Most of em are probably gold diggers though. Back to you Twirls.
"Let's see what the next question is." Twirls said, digging through the letters. Finally he pulled one out. He read it aloud "Dear Wub Radio:
You guys are awesome! Keep on rocking!

"Fan mail eh?" Vinyl Scratch asked "Well it's nice to know we have supporters. Any other intresting letters we should read?"
"Ooh how bout this one?!" Twirls asked "It's from Pinkie Pie."
"Well what's it say?" F3tlock asked. Twirls read it aloud
"Dear Wub Radio
You always bring a smile to my face whenever I listen to you. You make so super duper happy go lucky and I love love love LOVE you guys!

"Oh and what do we have here?" Twirls asked, looking over another piece of fan mail. Suddenly his eyes lit up "You're gonna wanna see this Vinyl Scratch!" he said excitedly as he gave her the letter.
"Dear Wub Radio
I'm a little ashamed to admit this, being a cello player and all. But I actually think you guys are pretty good. And sometimes at night when I know I'm alone I listen to you.
Yes Vinyl that means I lied about not being intrested in this earlier.

"Well I'll be." Vinyl Scratch said "Looks like there's more to old Octy then meets the eye."
"Indeed." Draft Punk said "Got any more intresting fan mail for us Twirls?"
"Nope." Twirls said "And besides we're not hear to answer fan mail."
"Yeah well it's a bit late for that now." Techbeat said "And I'm sure our listeners enjoyed it."
"Well I'll have to see if we can work into future shows." Twirls said "But for now we're out of time. Hope you've enjoyed listening to Wub Radio. Tune in again at this time tomorrow. Peace out!"
The "ON AIR" sign flickered off. "Well that was an intresting show to say the least." Twirls said.
"I'll say." Vinyl Scratch said "I can't believe Tavia actually listens to this station. Guess love really can do strange things to ponies."
"Man the fan mail just keeps pouring in!" Techbeat said "We're getting swamped with letters."
"There's got to be a solution." Zone said.
"I think I have an idea but I'll have to run it by Twirls." Vinyl Scratch said.
"And that would be?" Draft Punk asked.
"It's simple, we set aside at least one show each week to do fan mail and nothing else." Vinyl Scratch explained.
"Do you think that will work?" F3tlock asked.
"I think so." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Well now's your chance to ask him cause here he comes!" Zone said.
"Hey guys." Twirls said "You ready for another exciting show?"
"Sort of." F3tlock said.
"What do you mean 'sort of'?" Twirls asked.
"Vinyl has something to tell you." Techbeat said.
"Well out with it already! We don't have all night!" Twirls said.
Vinyl Scratch took a deep breath and explained to Twirls about the recent increase in fan mail. She then pitched her idea for a show dedicated entirely to reading and addressing them.
Twirls was needless to say a little reluctant to do such a thing at first. It took quite a bit of "persuasion" from his fellow DJs before he agreed to the idea. But like with the topics the fan mail had to had PG-13 or under. And everyone was responsible for checking and making sure the fan mail was appropriate.
"Okay then. Are we all set?" Twirls asked.
"Ready and waiting." Draft Punk said "You just say the word."
"Alright." Twirls said "But remember you guys talked me into this." The "ON AIR" sign in the corner of the room flickered on.
"Hello faithful listeners." Twirls addressed the audience "Tonight is the start of something a little different for us here at Wub Radio."
"That's right!" Vinyl Scratch said "We're going to be reading your fan mail live on air and responding to it. Consider it our way of saying 'Thanks for tuning in'. F3tlock why don't you get things started for us?"
"Sure thing Vinyl." F3tlock said, digging into the sack of recently sorted fan mail. He pulled out a letter and read it live:
Dear Wub Radio,
I just want to say I think you guys are awesome. Sometimes when I'm having trouble falling asleep I'll listen to you guys. And I think you're very kind.
Fluttershy
"So we've got three of those big shot national heros that everyone keeps talking about listening to us." Techbeat said "Intresting. As for you Miss. Fluttershy, well it always warms our heart to hear such good things. After all that's part of the reason why we started this station."
"How bout this one?" Zone asked, retriving another letter:
Dear Wub Radio,
I don't care if my older sister says I'm too young to be listening to these type of stations. I listen to you guys all the time.
You guys sound so cool. I wish I could be just like you when I grow up. Who knows? Perhaps my cutie mark is in DJing or something.

"Heh don't worry Sweetie Belle your 'secret's' safe with us." Vinyl Scratch said "Besides we're PG-13. And if we do say something you don't understand you can just ask your sister. After all it's better then figuring stuff out on your own."
"So we have fans of all ages." Twirls said "Quite surprising actually but I suppose that's a sign we're doing something right."
"I wonder if we have any stallions or colts that like to listen to us?" Vinyl Scratch asked.
"Speak of the devil!" Draft Punk said "How bout you read this one Techbeat?"
"I don't see why not." Techbeat said:
Howdy there Wub Radio,
We here in Appleloosa may be new to this whole radio concept but you know what? We're fascinated by all of ya.
Whatever ya'll are doing up there in Canterlot don't stop. At this point I don't know what this town will do without ya.

"I didn't even know we could broadcast that far out." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Well you learn something new every day." F3tlock said "Now how bout you Vinyl Scratch? You want to pick out a fan mail to read?"
"It's like you just read my bucking mind!" Vinyl Scratch said "But I'll do it! Who knows maybe I'll get another one from Octy."
"Speaking of Octavia how are things going with her?" F3tlock asked.
"Fine I suppose." Vinyl said "But man is Octy a pain in the flank. I know this is her busy season but she's so bossy, at least first thing in the morning. Thank Celestia for coffee!" She then pulled a fan mail letter from the sack. It read:
Dear Wub Radio,
I know Twilight's going to kill if she finds out about this but I really love you guys. I just wish Twilight would let me make my own decisions.
I mean I'm not a baby dragon anymore. I can make my own decisions!
Sorry. Guess I'm just really fed up with my life right now. At least I have you guys to help me blow off steam.
Remember not a word of this to Twilight or you're dead.
Spike
"Poor Spike, I feel your pain bro." Vinyl Scratch said "I've seen you some of my gigs. Perhaps you could get Pinkie Pie to speak to Twilight on your behalf about your good behavior. And life may suck sometimes but don't let it get you down. Every cloud has a silver lining."
"Words of wisdom there Vinyl." Draft Punk said.
"I blame Tavia." Vinyl Scratch replied "She's always so bucking optimistic and it rubbed off on me. No offensive if you're listening Octy."
"I think we still have time for one more piece of fan mail." Techbeat said "And I think it's only fair if we let Twirls read it."
Twirls reluctantly complied. The letter he picked read:
Hi Wub Radio,
I have heard good things about you. You are on a device ponies call radio. You guys serve as gateway into pony world.
I just wish ponies did not fear me because of what I am. I mean ponies no harm. My friends would kill me if they found out I interact with upper world.
Diamond Dog
"A Diamond Dog listens to us huh?" Vinyl Scratch asked "Well that sounds...intresting. What do you guys think?"
"I don't care much either way." F3tlock said.
"Me personally I don't really trust Diamond Dogs but I guess this is an exception." Draft Punk said "Griffons are fine but Diamond Dogs are a little different. Still they're better then changelings."
"I have no comment." Techbeat said "I've never seen Diamond Dogs and hopefullyI never will."
"After all my time in the Griffon Kingdom dealing with the issues of civil rights I actually think the Diamond Dogs are a little better. At least when they aren't abducting ponies to work in their gem mines." Twirls said "Though I heard Miss. Rarity of Ponyville taught the leaders a lesson."
"Oh man now I wish I could've been there to see that!" Draft Punk said.
"Me too!" Techbeat chimed in.
"Well that's all for tonight folks." Twirls said "We hope you've enjoyed listening to us read your fan mail. Keep sending it in. We'll try to answer a few every other show or so. Until next time is Wub Radio signing off. Stay cool Equestria!" The "ON AIR" sign off flickered off.
"See that wasn't so bad now was it?" Vinyl Scratch asked.
"Guess you're right." Twirls said "Now you all go home and get some rest and I'll see you all back here for the next show."
"Man it's hard to believe we're getting so many fans." Vinyl Scratch said "The fan mail just keeps getting bigger and bigger."
"Well we're not reading fan mail tonight." Twirls said "This will be a traditional show. You should all know the drill by now."
"Relax Twirls." Techbeat said "Everypony knows. And don't forget Zone called in sick, again."
"I know that." Twirls said "Thanks for reminding me though."
"So let's stop talking and get this show on the road." F3tlock said "Time's a wasting."
"We're waiting." Draft Punk said.
"Right then, places everypony." Twirls called out.
The "ON AIR" sign flickered on. "Hey there all you pony and non pony listeners. Do you know what time it is?" Twirls asked "It's time for more Wub Radio!"
"Let's kick things off with a bang shall we?!" F3tlock said, pulling out a letter "Well this is quite intresting. Apparently one of our listeners wants to know what we think about the changling scare."
"Oh Celestia not this bucking thing again!" Twirls sighed.
"Well guess I'll start things off." Vinyl Scratch said "Me personally I don't really care. I've got other things to worry about. Tavia's enough of a problem as it is, no offense if you're listening Octy."
"I think this is kind of justified if you ask me." Techbeat said "If the changeling queen can disguise herself as Princess Cadence and almost invade Canterlot then who knows how many potential changelings are hiding right under our noses? Of course I do think perhaps we might be over doing it, but from what I hear Princess Celestia's a bit unforgiving with them for publicly humilating her. Wish I'd been there to see that."
"If you ask me this is just an excuse for the government to step on our personal freedoms in the name of public security!" F3tlock said "I seriously doubt the changelings would be dumb enough to actually stick around after that failed invasion. Heck I think we actually got a piece of fan mail saying they didn't want to do but the queen forced them to."
"I'm on the fence on this one." Draft Punk said "I do think this scare is justified but I do think we're blowing things out of proportion. In the end as long as I can still say and do what I want within the limits of the law then I'm fine. So take notice princesses."
"I have no comment on this issue." Twirls said "I'd like to keep politics OFF of the discussion table, it's just a very nasty issue."
"Yeah well since when we did strive to be politically correct?" Vinyl Scratch asked "The government hasn't cracked down on us yet, so I think we've got nothing to worry about."
"Still let's try to keep the political issues to a minimum." Twirls said "So wants to pick the next letter?"
"I do!" Draft Punk said, plunging into the sac. After only a minute he pulled out a letter "Ah ha here we go! Who do you think is the best princess?"
"Oh that's easy!" Vinyl Scratch shouted out "Princess Luna hooves down! Celesita needs to loosen up a little! And Cadence and Twilight need better public relations managers, cause I don't hear much about them anymore!"
"I'm pretty much the same way except I like Princess Celestia." Twirls said "Princess Luna always seems to be grumpy."
"Princess Cadence all the way!" Techbeat cheered "Equestria needs more young blood like her! It's just too bad she hasn't been outside the Crystal Empire since its return. Oh well there's always the Equestria Games."
"Well I suppose I support Princess Twilight." F3tlock said "I think she has a lot of potential."
"Best Princess for me is all of them." Draft Punk said "And I think Zone would agree with me. If you're hearing this Zone get well soon, we miss ya."
"That's so nice of you Draft Punk." Vinyl Scratch said "And best wishes Zone. It must suck not being at 100%. But hey at least you didn't get the stomach bug like I did. Oh how I bucking hated that! Spending all my time with the toilet was not cool!"
"That's nothing!" Techbeat said "I once got the pony pox! And the rumors are true, it's worse if you get it as an adult."
"That's enough!" Twirls said "Let's not start delving into those topics as well. This isn't suppose to be about our personal lives you know."
"Sorry." Vinyl Scratch and Techbeat apologized.
"Glad to hear that." Twirls said "Now I think we have time for one more topic tonight. And because I just don't trust you guys not to start getting off topc all the time I'll pick it."
"Well go right ahead then." F3tlock said.
"Here I come." Twirls said "And please don't crack a naughty joke about that. Remember PG-13 and under."
"Party pooper." Draft Punk said.
"Are all the topics we discuss tonight going to be related to current issues?" Twirls said, pulling out a letter. "This one is asking us what we think of having species like diamond dogs, griffons, and even changelings listening to us. And me personally I'm okay with it. The more listeners the more creatures lives we touch."
"It's nice to know not all of our listeners are ponies." Vinyl Scratch said "That's all I gotta say."
"Griffons are fine and I suppose so are diamond dogs." Techbeat said "I don't know about changelings though."
"Changelings yes. Griffons and diamond Dogs, not so much." F3tlock said.
"I don't really care but as long we get more listeners I can't complain." Draft Punk said.
"And I'm pretty sure Zone wouldn't have much to say about this." Twirls said "From what I hear he's in favor of giving support to the changelings and diamond dogs. Well we're out of time for tonight folks. I hope you weren't turned off by any of the topics we discuss. I apologize for that and I promise I'll try not to let it happen again. Remember to keep tuning in at the same time, and don't forget to send in those letters."
The "ON AIR" signed flickered off. Twirls let out a sigh of relief. "All of you go home and get plently of rest. And remember we're approaching the cold and the flu season so wash your hooves as much as possible. I don't need all of you getting sick as well."
"We'll do our best to avoid that." Vinyl Scratch said "And if I forget I'm sure Octy will remind me. I just hope she's feeling better, she had a slight fever this morning and didn't go to work. The doctor said she was fine though and that she just needed to rest."
"Well we'll keep Octavia in our thoughts." Techbeat said.
"You guys are the best." Vinyl Scratch said, embracing them all in a hug.
"Glad to see you're back Zone." Twirls said "This place hasn't been the same without you."
"I know." Zone said "But I back and feeling better then ever. So what are we doing tonight?"
"We're doing fan mail again tonight." Vinyl Scratch explained "It was my idea to have one show each week where we read fan mail."
"So far it's been pretty good." F3tlock said.
"Yup." Draft Punk replied "We'll even let you pick the first one since you've been away for a while."
"You guys mean it?" Zone asked.
"We're not kidding." Techbeat said.
"Wow. Thanks guys." Zone said "I won't let you down."
"Okay that's enough for now." Twirls said "Let's get this show on the road. Places everyone!" The "ON AIR" sign flickered on.
"Hello faithful listeners." Zone said "Did you miss me? It's me Zone. I'm back."
"This is not a trick. You heard it here folks." Twirls said "The one and only Zone has returned. And not a moment too soon."
"And I'm not going to waste any more time and plunge straight into my first fan mail." Zone said, reaching into the bag. "Ooh this one looks intresting." he said, pulling out a leader and reading it.
Dear Wub Radio,
How would you feel if I told you that you're all fictional characters inside of a fanfic? Said fanfic is based off of a show that is intended for little girls but is actually enjoyed by people of all ages?

"Well first off what are these 'people' you're talking about?" Zone asked.
"Yeah, I've never heard of 'people'." Vinyl Scratch said.
"And second nice try but you're obviously joking." Zone said "This is just one of the ways you get your kicks. Well it didn't work."
Somewhere in another time and place Discord was heard to say "Curses. Foiled again."
"Man you sure picked a good one Zone." F3tlock said "I don't think I've ever laughed that hard before."
"Me too." Draft Punk said.
"And me three." Techbeat added.
"Okay that's enough." Twirls said "Vinyl why don't you pick the next fan mail for us?"
"Sure thing Twirls." Vinyl Scratch said, digging into the sack. "I know it's here somewhere." she said as she fumbled around. "Ah ha! Here we go!" she said at last, pulling out a letter. It read:
Dear Wub Radio,
We hope we got the right address with this letter.
Life in the Badlands has been awful ever since that failed invasion. But the queen would have us thrown in jail if we tried to oppose her. Our only salvation lies in the fact that we confiscated a radio during one of our raids. We use it to listen to you.
We were opposed to the invasion but the queen forced us to take part. We can only hope she will be forced from power soon.
Changling Soldiers
There was a pregnant pause for a moment. None of the DJs knew what to say. This sort of thing was unexpected. Finally Vinyl Scratch broke the silence. "Well that's certainly intresting." she said to herself.
"For the record we already expressed our thoughts on the issue of changelings." Twirls said "And we are NOT about to repeat ourselves!"
"Unfortunately he speaks the truth Zone." Techbeat said.
"That's o.k." Zone said "I really don't have much of an opinion anyway."
"Thank Celestia." Twirls said "Now who wants to go next?"
"Ooh! Ooh! I do! I do! Pick me! Pick me!" Draft Punk said.
"Okay then Draft Punk." Twirls said "Go right ahead and pick out the next fan mail please."
"No sooner said then done Twirls." Draft Punk said.
"Make it good Draft Punk." F3tlock said.
"Well how about this one?" Draft Punk said, pulling out a letter. This one read:
Dear Wub Radio,
I've heard good things about you and when my husband and I have a little alone time we like to listen to you.
It pleases us to know that you're not afraid to say what's on your mind. It's something that I believe is truely lacking in this day and age of political correctness.

"Wow! Will you look at that?!" Zone said "Even the princesses of Equestria are sending us fan mail. We just keep getting more and more popular."
"And you said not being politically correct would cost us." Vinyl Scratch said "Looks like we proved you wrong after all Twirls."
"I guess you did." Twirls said.
"I'll pick out the final fan mail for tonight." Techbeat said.

"I wasn't trying to beat any of you." Techbeat said "I just picked this one out because I liked it. But all of these fan mails have proven we're continuing to pick up new listeners by the hour. Wub Radio is probably on its way to becoming the number 1 radio station in all of Equestria. Perhaps even beyond."
"That sounds a little farfetched if you ask me." F3tlock said.
"Yeah." Zone added "We haven't even been on the air for a month yet."
"Zone's right." Twirls said "And being number 1 isn't what's important."
"Well a pony can dream." Techbeat said.
"You never know." Vinyl Scratch said "We just might reach that mark someday."
"But not tonight." Twirls said "Speaking of, that's all for this show folks. Please keep tunning in at the regular times. And keep sending that fan mail. We love it." The "ON AIR" sign flickered off.
"Not bad for your first time back on the air Zone." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Thanks." Zone said "And baring perhaps the occassional illness I'm going to be back for good."
"Let's hope so." Twirls said "Cause the station will never be the same without you."
"Well what are we? Chopped salary or something?" F3tlock said.
"Of course not." Twirls said "We're all equally important. We're all a well oiled machine and if one part isn't doing its job right then the whole system breaks down."
"So is Octavia doing any better Vinyl?" Zone asked.
"Yup." Vinyl said "Things are back to normal between the two of us. I hated sleeping on the couch that one night, it's so uncomfortable."
"Better uncomfortable then sick." Twirls said "I'm just glad that aside from Twirls all of you haven't got sick yet. Knock on wood."
"Well don't jinx it Twirls said." Techbeat said.
"I won't." Twirls said "Now let's get this show on the road. You all know the drill by now right?"
"Right." The DJs replied, taking their seats. The "ON AIR" sign flickered on once again.
"Hello again listeners." Twirls said "It's time for some more Wub Radio. And tonight we're once again doing reader's choice."
"Alright let's see what's up first." Draft Punk said "Ooh this is a good one. Who's the best princess? Who wants to go first?"
"Me!" Vinyl Scratch said "And I've already got the answer. Best princess is without a doubt Luna! She's always so fun loving unlike Celestia."
"Luna's overrated if you ask me." Twirls said "She's so grumpy. For me the best princess is Celestia. She's like a mother to all of Equestria."
"I agree with that." Draft Punk said "From what I've seen Celestia seems a lot nicer then Luna."
"I think the best princess is Cadence." Techbeat said "Celestia and Luna are old and Twilight's a motherbucking egghead."
"That's only half true." F3tlock said "And besides unlike Cadence Twilight is single."
"Yeah but at least Cadence actually earned her crown and her kingdom. What did Twilight do aside from creating new magic?" Techbeat asked "Any unicorn could do that with enough practice."
"But could you finish a spell that Star Swirl the Bearded himself couldn't?" F3tlock said.
"Well no but" Techbeat said.
"That's right, you can't! So shut up!" F3tlock said.
"Twilight's a teacher's pet!" Twirls said "If I were the student of Princess Celestia I wouldn't be surprised if I were promoted to the ranks of royalty."
"And from what I hear Luna wasn't all that happy with Twilight being a princess at first." VInyl Scratch said "Sounds like somepony's jealous."
"I'm putting a stop to this before it gets out of hoof." Zone said "All the princesses are the best, end of discussion. Now then let's see what the next topic shall be." Zone dug through the letters and pulled one out. "Ah this sounds like a nice one. How did we earn our cutie marks? I remember my story quite well. My friends dared me to sign up for a karaoke concet and I said yes. They were all surprised when I actually managed to sing Sapphire Shore's latest hit. That's when I realized I had a talent for singing and speaking. But I was actually believe it or not a late bloomer. Who thinks their story is just as impressive?"
"Mine I guess." Draft Punk said "My dad showed me how he use to do sound mixing for various bands. Then one day I decided to try my hand it and I discovered I was quite skilled. As a result I was the first pony in my class to get a cutie mark."
"Well here's my story." Techbeat said "I loved singing but I could never seem to really impress anyone. Then for my birthday my parents took me to my uncle who ran a record store. He helped me make a CD of a few songs to give to my parents. They put in and they didn't think much of it. So I was going to throw it out when one of my sisters took it and listened to it. She said it was beautiful and that she was going to share it with her friends. She did and they all liked it. Before long I had a request do more and I began to realize that I had a talent for producing music that was unlike anything heard before. I actually came close to creating dubstep before it existed. True story. Anyway I was in the middle of my class in temrs of cutie marks. I wasn't the first or the last."
"My story isn't anything really special." F3tlock said "My parents signed me up for music lessons and I just got my cutie mark while I was absent mindedly playing various intrusments after school while waiting for the music teacher. But everyone else in the group already had their cutie mark."
"Well that was short but sweet." Vinyl Scratch said "As for my story. Well my oldest friend has always been Neon Lights, we go way back. Anyway his parents owned a nightclub and when it wasn't in use we'd often hang out there. One day Neon made a bet with me that he could work the turntable better then I could. I almost proved him right, when I got to the turntable I had no idea what I was doing. But Neon was a good sport and he helped me figure out what to do. That's when I smoked him. And after I won the bet he told that I'd gotten my cutie mark, and as luck would have it so had he. And from what Octavia tells me that was around the same time she got her cutie mark. Talk about coincedence. So what's your story Twirls?"
"I just loved hearing myself talk and eventually I got intrested in radio plays. Once I learned how radio worked I started practicing at an actual radio station. And I got my cutie mark after the station manager convinced me to do a talk show instead." Twirls said.
"Intresting." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Yup." Twirls said "Now let's see what the final topic for tonight will be." He shifted through the sack of letters and pulled one out. "Now that Discord is reformed what do we think of him? I myself have no comment."
"Discord is a prankster. But a good heart none the less." Vinyl Scratch said "And if he ever misbehaved me and my bass cannon would stop him! It happened in my dreams once."
"I trust that Celestia let him go free for a reason." Draft Punk said "And I guess he did provide us with an intresting fan mail."
"I'm a little unsure of him." Techbeat said "Something tells me he's not completly reformed. I just don't quite trust the guy to be honest."
"You and me both." F3tlock said "I don't know why Celestia let Discord off the hook. After everything he did I don't think he deserves a second chance, or a third chance to be precise. He should just stay a stone statue forever!"
"I'm on the fence on the subject of Discord." Zone said "From what I hear he was a very harsh and unforgiving ruler but apparently Queen Chrysalis and King Sombra were and are a lot worse. But I guess Fluttershy proved that deep down all he ever wanted was a friend. Someone who wouldn't consider him a freak of nature and fear him. Plus chaos is kind of a necessary evil, it's what makes life intresting after all."
"Fascinating." Twirls said "Well mares and gentlecolts that's all we have for tonight. Don't forget to keep tunning in, same time, same channel. And keep sending in those questions and fan letters. We really appreciate them." The "ON AIR" sign flickered off.
"Quite the heated discussion on the princesses and Discord we had." Vinyl Scratch said.
"I know." Twirls said "Just be thankful Zone kept everything under control."
"Ah it's nothing." Zone said "Always happy to help."
"So I didn't miss out on much." Zone said "Well that's good to know."
"Yeah." Vinyl Scratch said "But it's nice to have you back. You ready to read some more fan mail?"
"You know it." Zone said.
"I hope we get some good ones." F3tlock said.
"Yeah I mean we've already got a widespread fanbase. It's going to be hard to find letters from fans in new groups." Draft Punk said.
"I'm sure we'll find something." Techbeat said.
"I hope we do." Draft Punk said.
"If it's not too much to ask please try not to launch a lot of discussions." Twirls said "I'm sure most of our listeners tune in to escape reality, not be reminded of it."
"But being politically incorrect is what got us this massive fanbase." Vinyl Scratch said.
"I'm just sick of all the arguements we're getting into." Twirls said "But I guess I can only do so much. Is everyone ready?"
"Yep." the DJs replied.
"Okay then, places everyone." Twirls said. The "ON AIR" sign flickered on once again. "Hello there faithful listeners. You know what time it is? Time for some more Wub Radio fan mail, submitted by you."
"Thanks yet again for sending them in for us." Zone said "We really appreciate your support. With that being said let's kick things off. I shall gladly read the first fan mail, and as luck would have it I've already picked out the perfect one." The fan mail read:
Dear Wub Radio,
I am pleased to learn that my loyal subjects have a radio station that they can trust. On occassion I've caught my royal guards listening to you and they certainly seem to like you.
Whatever it is you're doing do not stop.
I'd issue a royal decree on the matter but that would be taking things too far.
Just continue to do what you've already been doing.

"Well how about that?" Zone asked "We've got at least two princesses listening to us now. We even have Princess Celestia herself listening to us, indirectly anyway."
"Sounds pretty cool. But I can't wait til we get some fan mail from Luna and Twilight." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Oh Celestia please tell me w'ere not going to start another princess debate." Twirls said.
"Not this time Twirls." Draft Punk said.
"Good." Twirls said "Now then who wants to pick the next piece of fan mail to read?"
"Me!" Techbeat said.
"Damn it you beat me to it!" F3tlock said "Pick a good one."
"With pleasure." Techbeat said, digging into the sack. After a while he said "This looks like a good one." It read:
Dear Wub Radio,
I must say I can see why Sweetie Belle likes listening to you. You guys are so much better then those boring other radio stations.
I am also happy to report that a lot of my clients including Sapphire Shores and Fancy Pants have said good things about you. It seems like you get more listeners with each show.
Are you darlings sure you're not secretly brainwashing us?

"How did it go?" F3tlock asked.
"Not very good. But that's not what we're discussing." Vinyl Scratch said "It's so nice to hear that our fanbase keeps growing and growing."
"I know." Draft Punk said "I doubt any of us would've expected this station to become so popular in such a short span of time."
"Yeah." Twirls said "When I started this station I never thought we'd get this popular. I didn't even think we'd survive the first few shows. What with the way you guys were acting and all."
"You never let us have any fun." Zone said.
"Forgive me if I'm afraid of losing my dream." Twirls said "Anyway I'm thinking that with such a large fanbase perhaps we can start to lighten up. Just a little mind you."
"Well that's an improvement." Techbeat said "Now then Vinyl how bout you pick the final piece of fan mail for tonight?"
"It's like you can read my mind." Vinyl Scratch said, plunging into the sack. The fan mail she pulled out read:

You guys really help me blow off steam after a stressful day of school.
Being a teacher is fun but it's also a lot of hard work.

"I'm still going to be enforcing that PG-13 rule." he said "With such a large fanbase we can't afford to aliennate some fans and damage our reputation. But other then that I suppose we can discuss anything."
"Hard to believe we've been on the air for so long already." Zone said "Seems like only yesterday this station was just getting off the ground."
"I know." Vinyl Scratch said "I guess that old saying is true, time flies when you're having fun."
"Does Twirls have anything special planned for tonight?" F3tlock asked "I'm kind of itching for something new."
"I don't think Twirls plans on doing anything really special." Draft Punk replied "Though I think I overheard him saying he'd take us all out to dinner after the show to celebrate."
"You mean more of a late night meal." Techbeat said "And that's assuming we can a place that stays open this late at night. Even in Canterlot it's hard to find a place that's open 24/7."
"Well if worse does come to worse I'm sure Octy won't mind too much if we help clean out the fridge at my place." Vinyl Scratch said.
"But what if she catches us?" F3tlock asked.
"Or finds out?" Zone asked.
"Octy's a real heavy sleeper most of the time." Vinyl Scratch said "And what Tavi doesn't know won't hurt her."
"Well don't come crying to me when she makes you sleep on the couch again." Draft Punk said "No offense but I think sometimes you take your relationship with Octavia for granted."
"Octy's cool with a lot of stuff." Vinyl Scratch said "Besides she really needs to learn to lighten up. You've only got one life, so why not make the most of it?"
"I just think you could stand to be a little more considerate." Draft Punk said.
"Well I don't recall asking for your advice Draft Punk." Vinyl Scratch said "You never see me get all up in your personal life."
"Alright, alright. Let's break it up here ladies." Twirls interrupted "I certainly can't have any bad blood between two DJs when we're about to go on the air. Now you two kiss and make up."
"Aw man I wanted to see the cat fight!" Techbeat said.
Twirls sighed "Let's just get into the proper frame of mind for our show." he said "Remember our listeners can sense our moods. If they suspect we're not intrested in talking to them they could turn to another station."
"You heard the guy!" Zone said "Sit down! Shut up! And be happy!" Everyone did so.
"Thank you for that Zone." Twirls said "Okay everyone get ready." The "ON AIR" sign flickered on. "Hello there citizens of Equestria and beyond. It;s Wub Radio coming at you once again. And tonight we want to first thank all of your for your support. If it weren't for you we would not be the longest running radio talk show in Equestrian History to date."
"You all rock!" Vinyl Scratch cheered "Even those of you who've only recently stumbled onto us or are even hearing us for the first time!"
"Settle down Vinyl." Zone said "Continue Twirls."
"Anyway it's time once again for reader's choice." Twirls said "Where we answer questions submitted by all of you. And the first one is, have we ever considered having guest stars on the station?"
"Depends on what you mean by guest stars." F3tlock said.
"Yeah." Draft Punk said "Are we talking about celebrity guest stars? Foreign guest stars? Political guest stars? The list goes on and on."
"In any case it's up to Twirls to decide that." Techbeat said.
"And so far I don't think he's considered one. Though that could change." Zone said.
"I hope it does, I've got a lot of ponies who would love a chance to be on the air." Vinyl Scratch said "Like my good friend Neon Lights for starters."
"Well I have been recently trying to pull some strings to get one of the Princesses to put in an apperance." Tiwlrs said "No such luck so far though. I'm thinking that perhaps I'll have better luck with the Cantelort elite like Fancy Pants and Hoity Toity."
"What about those five others mares that are friends with Princess Twilight?" Zone asked.
"Don't you think I've already tried to contact them?" Twirls asked, he then sighed "Let's just move on to the next question, thinking about guest stars is giving me a headache."
"Okay, okay." Techbeat said "How bout this one? Have we considered hosting rap battles on air?"
"Rap battles? Like those Epic Rap Battles of Equestria that are becoming so popular?" Vinyl Scratch asked.
"What makes you say that?" Draft Punk asked.
"Have you been living under a Faust damn rock or something?!" Vinyl Scratch asked "You would not believe how many times I get a request to play one of those. I'm still waiting for my copies to arrive. Though I suppose they're better then that one song featuring Fluffle Puff. I'll never get that bucking tune out of my head!"
"Don't remind me!" F3tlock said "That song was so annoying."
"You're telling me." Zone said "Anyway we're getting off topic here. To answer the question we have considered rap batles but those are hard to pull off. I know they may look easy but here's the thing, anyone can make music and sing. It takes real talent to make the lyrics and the beat sound good. You can't rush art."
"An excellent answer to an excellent question Zone." Twirls said, thankful that at least someone had remembered the topic at hoof. "Now for the final question of the night."
"This one sounds intresting." Zone said "What were we doing when Discord roamed free the first time and made Ponyville the chaos capital of the world?"
"I can't actually remember much.." Vinyl Scratch said "Last thing I remember is turning gray. Then some time later it feels like I've awoken from some sort of dream."
"That's pretty much what happened to me." Draft Punk said "I'm sure something else happened in that time span but anything that might've happened during that time has somehow slipped my mind. I'm drawing blank on it."
"I know." Techbeat said "It's as if my mind was suddenly wiped clean of all memories of that time."
"But who could've done such a thing? And more importantly why would that someone do so?" F3tlock asked.
"I wouldn't put it past Princess Celestia or Princess Luna to do such a thing." Zone said "I suppose they wanted us to forget about what Discord might have made us do. Not that I blame them. Anyone in their situation probably would've done the same. Anything to add Twirls?"
"Nope I got nothing." Twirls said "Just like the rest of you guys I can't remember what happened. Those few hours are a total black out."
"Well this one was a dud." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Guess I spoke too soon on that one being intresting." Zone said.
"No. Really?" Vinyl Scratch asked.
"Don't start you two." Twirls said "That's all for tonight folks. See you all again on the next show." The "ON AIR" sing flickered off.
"What a show." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Don't tell me you're too pooped to party." Techbeat said.
"I'm not!" Vinyl Scratch said.
"Just checking." Techbeat said.
"You just love pushing my buttons tonight don't you?" Vinyl Scratch asked.
"Maybe." Techbeat said.
"You are so dead!" Vinyl Scratch shouted and chased Techbeat right out the door.
"Fall is certainly not far away now." Vinyl Scratch said "I think I'm going to have to start coming to the station in a jacket to protect myself from the cold."
"Don't forget that Nightmare Night is only a few weeks away." F3tlock said.
"Oh yes, that means I'm going to be getting lots of requests to play at Nightmare Night gigs." Vinyl Scratch said "Octavia doesn't really do those but I've heard she has a sister named Fiddle Sticks who does. And the funny thing they look almost exactly the same."
"Have you ever actually seen this 'Fiddle Sticks'?" Draft Punk asked.
"No." Vinyl Scratch said "And from what I know her and Octy don't really keep in touch all that much. Between you and me I think Octy's a little embarrassed to have such a sister. Can't really see how it could be more embarassing then having Pinkie Pie for a cousin."
"Speaking of cousins didn't you say that you're a cousin of Princess Twilight?" Zone asked.
"Yeah but we don't see each other much." Vinyl Scratch replied "Especially an alicorn."
"Sounds like you and Octavia have quite the family tree." Techbeat said.
"I know." Vinyl Scratch said "Makes me wonder if Pinkie Pie and Twilight are aware that me and Octy are a couple."
"Well you never know." Zone said.
"Sorry if I kept you all waiting." Twirls said, arriving in the studio "I had some things to take care of."
"Well you did get here a little later then the rest of us but we didn't really notice." Zone said.
"Good." Twirls said "You guys all know the drill by now right?"
"Uh huh." the DJs replied.
"Okay then, let's not waste any time and get things going." Twirls said. The "ON AIR" sign flickered on. "Hello there faithful listeners. Wub Radio coming at you loud and clear. For those of you living in Equestria we hope you're all staying warm on this chilly evening."
"And we hope you're staying healthy." Twirls said "Cause unless you're living under a rock you should know that this is the cold and the flu season."
"Anyway" Twirls said "It's time once again for Wub Radio Fan Mail! Where we read fan mail submitted by you, our listeners."
"I wonder what sort of intresting fan mail is in store for us today?" Draft Punk asked.
"Only one way to find out." F3tlock said "Techbeat, why don't you start things off for us this time?"
"Sure thing." Techbeat said. He began to dig through the sack of letters until he pulled one out. It read:

I'm usually a stallion of very few words so I'll try to make this short and to the point.
I quite like you guys, you're honest with yourselves and you explain things in a way that even the common folk can understand.

"Getting a little cocky are we?" Draft Punk teased.
"Don't start with that again Draft Punk." Twirls said.
"You never let me have any fun." Draft Punk said.
"Any sort of disharmony between us could very well ruin this show." Twirls said "At the least try not to constantly push each others buttons."
"Okay, okay." Vinyl Scratch and Draft Punk said.
"Since I don't trust either of you I think I'll let Zone go next." Twirls said "Pick a good one."
"I'll try my best." Zone said "Now let's take a looksie." He searched through the pile of letters and after a minute pulled one out. "I think we have a winner." he said. The letter read:
Dear Wub Radio,
I can remember when radios didn't exist, like back in my day. And of course I can remember when everyone, including myself realized radio was here to stay.
In my time I've seen stations come and go in all sorts of areas. Music shows, talk shows, news shows, you name it.
I think I can safely say that at the rate you're going you're likely to become the longest running radio station in history. At least from what I can tell.

"Here you go!" Vinyl Scratch said. The letter read:

At first I really couldn't understand why everyone I knew was talking about you guys. I was convinced they'd all gone crazy.
I'm both relieved and surprised to see that I was wrong.
Although I don't always agree with everything you have to say I can certainly see why you guys are getting so much praise.
I've never even been a fan of radio until I started listening to you.
I can't believe I'm saying this but keep on rocking!

"Ever since that sandwich prank she's been keeping a close eye on me." Vinyl Scratch said "And that makes it hard to do anything."
"I see." Techbeat said.
"Anypony else got anything they want to talk about?" F3tlock asked. Noone replied.
"Seems like this is going to be one of those slow days." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Yeah. I doubt Twirls has anything major planned." Zone said "It's just going to be another reader's choice."
"I wouldn't underestimate Twirls." Techbeat said "I have a feeling that something is going to happen tonight, and that something is going to make this night anything but boring. Don't know what that something is though."
"Guess we'll find out soon." Draft Punk said "Cause here comes Twirls now."
"Hey guys." Twirls said "You all ready for another reader's choice?"
"Yeah." the DJ's replied in a half intrested tone.
"Let's try that again." Twirls said "With a little more energy. After all we don't want to bore our audience to sleep."
"Sorry Twirls." Vinyl Scratch said "But there hasn't been anything really exciting happening lately. And it just sort of feels like there's nothing of intrest going on."
"Well suck it up!" Twirls said "We've got a good thing going here and I doubt any of you want to ruin it."
"We know that Twirls." Zone said "But what can we do when there's nothing worth talking about?"

"That sounds like it'll be hard to do." Draft Punk said.
"Yeah." Techbeat complained.
"Come on guys let's at least try to sound excitied." F3tlock said.
"I couldn't have put it better myself." Twirls said "Now everyone take your places." The DJ's did so. But before the "ON AIR" sign could flicker on there was a knock at the door.
"Wonder who that could be?" Zone asked.
"Beats me." Draft Punk said "It's pretty late, most of the city should be asleep."
"I'll get it." Vinyl Scratch said, rising out of her seat. When she opened the door the pony on the other side came as a real shock. "Princess Celestia?" Vinyl Scratch asked.
"Indeed." Princess Celestia said "I hope you don't mind if I come in."
"N-not at all your highness." Vinyl Scratch said "Make yourself at home."
"Princess Celestia!" Twirls gasped, bowing down along with the other DJ's "A thousand pardons your majesty but we received no notification of your arrival!"
"At ease my faithful subjects." Princess Celestia said "This is obly a formal visit, no need to be so overwelcoming."
"Why have you decided to grace our humble station?" Techbeat asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" Princess Celestia asked "I want to be your guest star for tonight."
"You mean it?" F3tlock asked.
"Of course I do." Princess Celestia said "This will help my subjects get to know me better on a personal level. That is okay with you all right?"
"Huh? Oh, oh yes of course." Twirls said "But are you sure you'll be comfortable with knowing that we'll be asking our own questions instead of pre submitted ones?"
"That's why I came here." Princess Celestia said "I'm ready when you are."
"Well if you're sure." Twirls said "Okay guys looks like we've got ourselves a guest star."
"Now we're talking!" Zone cheered.
"Okay, okay. Settle down now." Twirls said "Let's not get too excited. Everyone take your places." Everyone did so. The "ON AIR" sign flickered to life.
"Greetings to you all yet again." Twirls said "This is Wub Radio coming at ya. And tonight we are pleased to announce that we have a treat for all of you. A guest star! And not just any guest star! Our guest star is the one, the only, Princess Celestia!"
"Thank you for the introduction Twirls." Princess Celestia said "And I assure all of you who are listening that this is not a trick. I hope you will enjoy hearing what I have to say, especially since the questions are not going to be ones that I selected in advance."
"Are you ready Princess?" Draft Punk asked.
"Yes." Princess Celestia said "Ask away."
"Okay then, I'll start things off." F3tlock said "First and foremost I'm sure everyone would like to know what the status is on the whole changeling scare."
"As much as it pains me to say this the threat is still out there." Princess Celestia said "We have managed to track down most of the changelings responsible for the wedding invasion but the queen and her commanders remain at large. Therefore I ask all of you to continue to remain alert, if you suspect anything make to report it. With that being said try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt."
"Would you mind telling us what sort of power Twilight Sparkle will have now that she's a princess?" Techbeat asked.
"Twilight for the time being is only a back up princess." Princess Celestia said "If anything were to happen where either Luna or I were to disappear Twilight would step in. She would take our place until we could be found. But I am hopeful that will never have to happen. As for political power she'll have a little more authority now that she's a princess but even she will not be above the law. I trust her enough though to know that she will use her powers for good and not evil."
"Did you have anything to do with The Crystal Empire being considered for and ultimately securing The Equestria Games?" Zone asked.
"I can see why you might think that." Princess Celestia said "And I did bend the rules a little to allow The Crystal Empire to be considered so soon after its reappearance. But I did so only because I wished to give the crystal ponies a chance to show how far they've come in the few months since they resurfaced. And in the end I was not allowed to choose who would decide whether The Crystal Empire would get the games, nor did I play any part in allowing the empire to host the games. That decision was Miss. Harshwhinny's to make, and I know that her judgements are always nonbiased."
"Have you ever bended or broken any other rules?" Vinyl Scratch asked.
"Even if I might have been tempted several times during my reign I have never broken any rules at all." Princess Celestia said "And I have only bended the rules once in the previously mentioned example. Even great rulers such as I are not above the law. As my mother once told me those who are given great power are also given great responsibility. And it is up to them to use their power for the right reasons."
"Who holds the most blame for the changeling invasion during the wedding of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor?" Draft Punk asked.
Celestia sighed "That would be me." she explained "It was my fault that the invasion was allowed to happen in the first place. My faithful student Twilight Sparkle saw signs of trouble during the time leading up to the wedding rehearsal. She was the one who saw through the changeling queen's disguise. But I did not act on the information she had given. Instead I dismissed her evidence as pure speculation, simply because I did not want to believe that my own niece could ever be so cruel. Had I not been so blind I could've prevented the invasion and caught the changeling queen. Then we wouldn't be sitting here, talking about the changeling scare. I am merely thankful that Twilight forgave me and ultimately managed to save the day by freeing the real Cadence."
"Think you have time for one last question?" Twirls asked.
"Yes." Princess Celestia said "Please make it a good one."
"Oh it's a good one alright." Twirls said "What's your favorite food?"
"That's a tough one." Princess Celestia said "I like a lot of foods. In the end I suppose I have a weak spot for cake, especially chocolate cake."
"So that Gabby Gums article was true after all." Vinyl Scratch said "I never would've guessed."
"I actually am glad that Gabby Gums took that photo of me." Princess Celestia said "For it allowed my subjects to see that I too have a sweet tooth, just like them."
"Intresting." Twirls said "Well that's it for tonight folks. Hope you've enjoyed this special broadcast." The "ON AIR" sign flickered off.
"Thanks for visiting us Princess Celestia." Zone said.
"Yeah, you saved us from total bordem!" Vinyl Scratch said.
"Happy to help." Princess Celestia said "Now I shall be on my way." And she left without further ado.
"Hey! Ever heard of say it don't spray it Vinyl?!" Techbeat asked.
"Sorry about that." Vinyl Scratch said, blowing her nose with a tissue "I've just been feeling really stuffed up lately. What with the pegasi changing weather patterns all the time and all."
"Don't tell me you're getting sick." Zone said "You know Twirls wouldn't you to risk your own health for the station."
"I'm fine. It's just a stuffy nose for Celestia's stake!" Vinyl Scratch said, blowing her nose again.
"Sheesh no need to get all bent out of shape Vinyl." Zone said.
"Just don't go sneezing on me!" Draft Punk said "I don't wanna catch anything you might have."
"Come on guys cut Vinyl a break already." F3tlock said "I'm pretty sure all of us have been under the weather at some point during our careers."
"Yeah but I'm sure most of us had the common sense to call off our shows until we felt better." Zone said.
"Not helping guys." Vinyl Scratch sniffed "I just hope Octavia doesn't make me sleep on the couch tonight. I hate that fucking thing."
"Hello everyone." Twirls said, greeting the DJ's "Say you're looking a little pale Vinyl Scratch. Are you okay?"
"Aside from having a stuffy noise I'm fine." Vinyl Scratch said "Can we just get on with the show?! I'm tired of everyone breathing down my neck."
"I think somepony woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." Techbeat teased.
"Haha. Very funny." Vinyl Scratch said sarcastically.
"I think it's best if we just drop it and start the show." F3tlock said "Vinyl's clearly not in a good mood tonight."
"I can here you ya know!" Vinyl Scratch said.
"Vinyl I'm warning you now I'm not going to put up with your behavior on air." Twirls warned "If you can't at least try to act nice I'm going to have to drop you from tonight's show. And as for the rest of you I hope you'll all keep the teasing to a minimum."
"Let's go already!" Vinyl Scratch said.
"Remember what I told you Vinyl." Twirls said "Okay everyone take your places." The DJ's did so. The "ON AIR" sign flickered to life. "Hey there all you Wub Radio listeners." Twirls said "Hope those of you in Canterlot are enjoying the warmer weather."
"Assuming it hasn't made you stuffy." Vinyl Scratch said.
Twirls seemed to ignore Vinyl Scratch's comment. "It's time for some more fan mail. Submitted by you, our faithful listeners. Draft Punk why don't you lead off for tonight?"
"Thought you'd never ask." Draft Punk said, digging into the sack of letters and pulling one out "You're going to love this one Vinyl." Draft Punk said. The letter read:
Dear Wub Radio,
I don't really get much of a chance to listen to you. After all I'm the princess of the night and I cannot abandon my duties.
But from what little I have heard of you I am impressed. Even though I do not agree with everything you have to say.
Clearly you are deserving of all the praise you have recieved. I hope you will continue to not disappoint.

"I was just about to do it." Vinyl Scratch said.
"Sorry Vinyl." Zone teased "You snooze you lose." After digging through the sack of letters again he pulled one out. It read:

At first I thought you guys were just another music station that plays loud music all day long.
I'm glad to see that I was wrong. Now me and Rainbow Dash have something to talk about that we actually both like.

"Sure thing Twirls." F3tlock said, within seconds a letter was pulled out of the sack. "I think I picked a good one." F3tlock said. The letter read:

Thanks for being such a nice radio station. And thanks for being so honest.
I wish more radio stations could be like you.

"Indeed." Zone said.
"Well we're glad to see our stance of honesty has gotten us so many listeners." Draft Punk said.
"And as always thanks for your support. It really means a lot to us." Techbeat said.
"Yup." F3tlock said.
"Well that's all for tonight folks. See you next time." Twirls said. The "ON AIR" sign flickered off. "Okay all of you go home and get some rest. Especially you Vinyl Scratch."
"This sucks!" Vinyl Scratch said, laying on the couch. Her stuffy nose had not gone away as she had hoped and now she was really sick.
"Oh dear you're burning up Vinyl." Octavia said, pulling a thermometer out of Vinyl Scratch's throat. "I'd say you've come down with the flu. You're not going anywhere!"
"But I've got a show tonight Tavi!" Vinyl protested.
"I'm pretty sure your fellows DJs wouldn't you to come in and risk getting them sick as well." Octavia said "Besides in your condition I doubt you'd even make it to the station."
"But what am I suppose to do?" Vinyl Scratch asked "I can't just leave the guys hanging."
"You let me worry about Twirls and the others." Octavia said "You just lay down and try to get some rest."
"I guess I can do that." Vinyl Scratch said, sniffing a little. Her nose was completly clogged.
"Now stay put and I'll be back in a minute with your medicine." Octavia said. But no sooner had she left the room when she heard Vinyl Scratch say "Oh Celestia!" and saw her rush straight to the bathroom. A loud vomit sound soon followed.
"Great now I've got the stomach bug too!" Vinyl Scratch said, her pale face hovering just above the toilet.
"Poor Vinyl." Octavia thought. "I can't imagine how horrible she's feeling right now." Another loud vomit sound came from the bathroom.
"Sorry Tavi" Vinyl Scratch said, flushing the toilet "Looks like I'll be here a while."
"So Vinyl's not coming tonight huh?" Twirls asked.
"Yup." Octavia said "But don't worry your pretty little head about it, Doctor Octavia will take good care of her patient."
"Just make sure she doesn't come back until she's completly better." Twirls said "Whatever she's come down with I don't need it spreading."
"I'll make sure Vinyl's feeling 100% before I let her go." Octavia said "Oh and before I leave Vinyl wanted me to give this to you." she gave Twirls a letter. She then departed for home.
"So no Vinyl tonight huh?" Draft Punk asked.
"Nope." Twirls said "But we can manage."
"Yeah. You guys did a great job when I was sick." Zone said.
"Still it must really suck to be Vinyl right now." F3tlock said.
"Well it could be worse. She could've contracted The Trots." Techbeat said "Then she'd really feel like crap. See what I did there?"
"That's just gross Techbeat." Zone said "Keep stuff like that to yourself next time."
"Sorry, couldn't resist." Techbeat said.
"Guess it's a good thing we decided not to bring in another guest star tonight." Draft Punk said "Vinyl would've blown a fuse if she found out that we interviewed Neon Lights without her."
"I know." Zone said "Vinyl's pretty scary when she's angry."
"Alright that's enough talk about Vinyl." Twirls said "Let's focus on our show. Take your places everyone."
The DJ's did so. No one commented on the chair left empty due to Vinyl Scratch's illness. The "ON AIR" sign flickered on.
"Hello there listeners." Twirls said "It's time for more Wub Radio. But first we'd like to take the time to send a little message our fellow DJ Vinyl Scratch. She's currently feeling a little under the weather and couldn't be here tonight. If you're hearing this Vinyl we wish you a speedy recovery."
"Speaking of Vinyl Scratch it looks like our first question for tonight's show is coming from her." Draft Punk said "According to this letter there was a meteor strike in Moscolt recently. Nopony was hurt but apparently the official Moscolt radio station said that the meteor was an attempt by Princess Luna to convince Moscolt that 'Global Warming' is real, depsite our faithful princess of the night having no control over such events. And VInyl would like to know if we're as disgusted as she is about the whole thing. Especially because the Moscolt government didn't punish the radio station for such a claim."
"I agree with you VInyl." Zone said "The princesses get blamed for everything wrong with the world these days. Even when they have nothing to do with the events!"
"Well I'm not disgusted but I am ashamed." Draft Punk said "I never thought any radio station could stoop so low."
"Same here." Techbeat said "At the very least that radio station should be heavily fined. Freedom of speech does not give you the right to issue blatant lies!"
"Well as much as I'm upset by the station's actions I doubt there's much that can be done to make them or the Moscolt government change their ways." Twirls said "Don't get me wrong they should still be punished for this, but I know how much of an uphill battle that will be."
"Interesting." F3tlock said "I'm pretty disgusted as well. No one insults a leader for no good reason!"
"Moving on." Twirls said "The next question is are we excited for the upcoming Equestria Games in the Crystal Empire? Well I know I am."
"So am I." Techbeat said "I haven't missed a single Equestria Games since I was young and I don't plan on starting now."
"Guess that means you'll be going right?" Draft Punk asked.
"Well duh." Techbeat said "I don't care how cold The Frozen North can get, it'll be worth it for a chance to see the Crystal Empire in all its glory."
"I'm excited." Zone said "But tickets for the games are expensive. I don't think I can afford them."
"Perhaps I'll buy an extra one for you then." Draft Punk said "Cause I'm going too."
"If you can do that I'll so owe you one Draft Punk!" Zone said.
"Hey what are friends for?" Draft Punk said.
"Well if you guys are going I suppose I'll come too." Twirls said "But if Vinyl Scratch isn't going then I'll stay behind. Hopefully we'll all go though and we'll be able to broadcast the games live!"
"That would be so awesome!" Techbeat said.
"I'll go next." Zone said "Here's a good one. If we could pick any city in Equestria or even beyond to live in where would it be?"
"Las Pegasus of course. "Draft Punk said "And I'm sure that's where Vinyl would want to live as well. Though I doubt Octavia would be very happy with that."
"No kidding." Twirls said "For me I think Canterlot is quite nice. And that's where we are now."
"Figures you'd pick that one." F3tlock said "I'm thinking Manehattan sounds good if you ask me. After all there's a lot of up and coming talent in that place. And despite the rumors most of the ponies who live there are quite nice. It's just too bad that the police are always overwhelmed."
"I'd sat Ponyville." Zone said "After all there's never a dull moment there. And I'd get the chance to meet Equestria's saviors face to face. And I'm their biggest fan!"
"I just wish they'd do good will tours." Techbeat said "I've only heard about them. And no I haven't been living under a rock, thank you very much. As for the question, well I'd love to live in the Crystal Empire. That place is so beautiful from what I hear. And apparently there's a lot to see and do, you can even visit the palace and meet the royal crystal couple Princess Cadence and Prince Shining Armor."
"Fascinating." Twirls said "Well this concludes another show of Wub Radio. Hopefully when you next tune in Vinyl Scratch will be feeling better and will be back in the studio with us. Until next time this is Wub Radio signing off." The "ON AIR" sign flickered off.

"Yeah, she's still recovering." Twirls said "So once again we'll have to do without her."
"I just hope she's feeling somewhat better." Draft Punk said "Being sick sucks."
"I'm sure she's doing fine." Techbeat said.
"Yeah, with somepony like Octavia around Vinyl's in good hooves." F3tlock said.
"Tonight's fan mail again right?" Zone asked.
"Yup." Twirls said "You all know the ropes by now right?"
"Yes." The DJs replied, taking their seats without further instruction.
"Nice to see you guys are finally getting the hang of this." Twirls said. The "ON AIR" sign flickered on. "Good evening everyone." Twirls said "It's time once again for Wub Radio!"
"Before we begin though we just want to again send our best wishes to Vinyl Scratch who couldn't be here tonight." Zone said "Vinyl we hope you feel better soon."
"Moving on." Twirls said "Tonight is Wub Radio fan mail. Where we read fan mail submitted by all of you. Take it away Draft Punk."
"With pleasure." Draft Punk said "Ah here's a good one." The letter that was pulled out read:
Dear Wub Radio,
I just love listening to you guys. Ya'll are so awesome.
Now I know why my family won't stop talking about you all the time.

"I think we'd better wrap this up before you say something you'll regret." Zone said "I think I'll go next. If that's okay with all of you."

"I'll do my best." Zone said, digging through the sack of letters. After a few seconds one was pulled out. This one read:

I really don't know if mom and dad would allow me to listen to you guys but they seem to ignore me quite often so I guess it doesn't matter.
Anyway I just thought I'd say you guys really help me out whenever I have a bad day. Which is quite often. I know my parents are working really hard to support me but sometimes it seems like they never take time just to be with me.
I'm not really good at this whole letter thing so I really don't have much to say.

"And perhaps now that they know how you feel they'll pay more attention to you." F3tlock said.
"And if it makes you feel any better we care about you." Techbeat said "No one should ever feel neglected or unwanted."
"Two letters from what are likely school aged children. What are the odds?" Twirls said.
"Probably more common then you think." Draft Punk said.
"Can I pick the next one please?" F3tlock said.
"Depends." Twirls said "Does anyone else want to go next?" None of the DJs raised their hooves. "Good." Twirls said "Do it F3tlock."
"You don't have to tell me twice." F3tlock said "Let's see." After a little bit of digging and plowing F3tlock pulled out a letter. This one read:
Yo Wub Radio Wassup?!
Life in Manehattan's gotten even better since I started listening to you guys.
I don't how you do it but you sound so much better then all those other stations. They just sound so bland, and all the grownups I know seem to think the same way.

"That doesn't mean I can't try." Draft Punk said.

"I know." Draft Punk said "I just like messing with ya. At least you're not as uptight as Vinyl."
"I don't think she's that uptight really." Zone said "But whatever floats your boat I guess."
"And now it's time for the final letter of the evening." Twirls said "And I'll do the honors." It didn't take long for Twirls to pull out a letter. It read:
Greetings Wub Radio,
Lovely show, I must say. And yet it needs more... something. I'm not sure, but I know it needs SOMETHING. I just can't figure out what that something is... Perhaps you guys and gals can?
Anyways, the music reminds me well of the stations I listen to back home... and I thank you for that. I don't know where you guys are located (I can't find you on any of my maps), but if you guys ever find yourselves in Vanhoover, I can assure you (mostly) that you'll have me watching you from afar. Not in a creeper sort of fashion, mind you. Like in a protector sort of way, considering the slight troubles that this place is going through. Still, you guys are awesome!
