Memories
Why did she feel so sad? Everytime she got close to the answer it slipped away. Her friends knew. She could tell by the looks they gave her. It was like they felt sorry for her. She pounded the wall in frustration. She sat down on her bed, tears falling down her eyes. She felt like she had lost somepony she loved. There was nopony there to comfort her. She was overcome by sudden memories. A bright smiling face, flying through the sky. It wasn't even a pony. One word repeated in her mind 'Daddy...' She couldn't believe it. She remembered the things her friends had been hiding from her. But why? Why would they hide such happy memories? It still didn't answer the question of why she was so sad. She made her decision. She stood up and flew out of the door and down into the small town of Ponyville.
There was a knock on the door and Twilight perked up. She walked over and opened it to see an angry Rainbow Dash looking at her.
"I remember." Rainbow Dash said. Twilight looked confused at first then she realised what she was saying.
"SPIKE!" She shouted. The small purple dragon came down the stairs and looked at the unicorn. "Send a letter to the princess. I need to see her as soon as possible." Spike nodded and went to write the letter. Twilight sat down on her couch and sighed.
"Why were you trying to hide this from me?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight looked at her sadly.
"We had to," Twilight replied. "We couldn't let you keep those memories. You wouldn't have been yourself."
"What do you mean I wouldn't have been myself? Those memories couldn't have changed me. They were too happy!"
"It isn't all happy memories. You shouldn't have even been there. You got caught in one of my spells and were sent to a different universe."
"How could I just forget?" Rainbow Dash questioned.
Twilight and Rainbow Dash slowly trotted towards the princess.
"Why did you need to see me so soon?" Princess Celestia asked.
"She remembers." Twilight said.
"What happened?" Rainbow Dash asked. Celestia looked at her sadly. "Who was he!?" She didn't think. She knew but she just wanted to be sure of her fears. She glared at the princess who nodded. A small tear ran down her cheek. "Daddy."
