> Alduin reborn > by Maelstrom Of Time > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prelude. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The black dragon was in an intense battle with the one known as Dovahkiin. He knew this battle would have only one end, his banishment, and he was just putting off his own demise. The battle was furious, but Dovahkiin gave him one finishing blow, banishing his soul from the world they currently resided. His last conscious thoughts were the rage surging through his veins and his burning thought of destroying Dovahkiin once more. As his soul was sent to another universe, one not known by the people of tamriel, his soul was being judged by his father, akatosh. He sent him to an appropriate world for his banishment. One where he shall be forced to take emotions and feelings into account. A world called equestria. One where he will be forced to learn emotion. A world completely the opposite of the ones he is used too. He will not have his dovah army to command, his powers to call upon, he will on,y have his body and his soul to aid him. A world where the nine divines are not worshiped. A world of magic, and friendship. And he will learn friendship, or he will be sent out, banished without his powers, where he will forage for himself. > The god is back. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The pearl white alicorn paced around the room. First Nightmare Moon, then Discord, Chrysalis, Sombra, the list could go on. But why did it have to be a God?! As she waited for her faithful student to arrive, she had a lot of time to think. Think of what to do. Think of how to solve this problem. Maybe the elements. They might work, but they might not. And the more time they waited, the worse it would get. When the purple alicorn and her multicolored assortment of friends arrived, she was almost to the point of sweating herself to dehydration. "Princess? Are you okay?" Twilight asked her mentor. "No, things are not making sense..." Celestia continued to pace around the room. "What isn't making sense?" She continued to question as her friends distributed around the room. "A dragon. But not a normal dragon. It's a god. A dragon god. And it's gaining power. It's been attacking cities around equestria, and it's starting to get close to canterlot. It started in a town just past the crystal empire. I didn't hear of it then. Then in Appaloosa. All anypony sees is a midnight black dragon with blood red eyes. The only ponies to survive are extremely aged. The dragon seems to eat the age of its victims. It devoured the age of chrysalis. She's dead." The six other ponies gasped. "If it reaches canterlot, and devours the age of Luna, discord and I...I'm afraid to say that we're all doomed." "But princess, if it devours the age of ponies...what is it?" Twilight asked. "Twilight...as far as I've read up...it's name is Alduin...God of Destruction and the apocalypse...and it's known as the end times...it devours entire planets, then moves on to the next one. Once it devours equestria, the rest of Equis will be a breeze...and that's why I will give you a choice, twilight...you could search for him and try to use the elements of harmony on him, or...or I can send my entire army to try and eradicate it...it's your choice..." "I..." Twilight started > The confusion of a divine > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why. Why had the dragons of this world rejected him? He was their leader, their master! They deserve to die for their crimes! He was Alduin! We should start from the beginning. First thing he did. Scan surroundings. They seemed pretty familiar, other than being vaguely cartoon esc. Step two. Gain the trust of the local dragons, if any. He did see familiar smoke trails, though...so, he did the natural thing. Invade on the space of a dragon three times his size and claim to be his king Not the best idea. Well, for one thing, the dragons had to be a completely different species. Instead of two back legs and two wings, they had four legs and wings on their backs. Second, they were larger. Third, they did love themselves some gems. Hoards of them that one red dragon was sleeping on. But he did the appropriate thing when they claimed he was not their ruler. Obliterated them and devoured their souls. Of course, he could raise the dragons he killed as an army...that isn't such a bad idea... Now, must either claim peace or devour the planets gods... Slowly, one by one, he devoured the age of the towns he came across on his quest for either the age of a god, an army of dragons, or both. That would be nice. But he will return to sovenguarde. He will. And he will claim his revenge on akatosh, paarthunax, and especially Dovahkiin. It seemed that this planet...it had not humans...mostly equine based organisms...but they were certainly different from the ones in skyrim...there were insect like equines...normal equines, that, strangely enough, were multicolored...dragons, of course, but more human like dragons...there were human like dogs...and that seemed to be it...but he was tracing a large amount of chaotic energy from a location towards the center of the country... That sensation... It's another god...or at least an immortal...three of them...all centered in the country... Brilliant. He dragon god smiled internally as he continued his rampage to the center of the country. > The eternal banter between two gods > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ah, chaos. Isn't it just wonderful? No? Well, voice In my head, I don't know why you're here, but I'll tell you. Of course I sensed the presence of another spirit of nature, let alone an immortal one. And he was strong. Real strong. Stronger than me. And I could tell who he was, too. I've talked to him before. But that was a long time ago, in a different form... Funny how we keep bumping into each other, isn't it? But, anyway, back to Alduin. Why was he here? He couldn't be here. There was a reason he existed in skyrim, not equestria. He was too dangerous for it. And he was getting ever so closer to canterlot. Now, that alone was a bad thing, but there was something else. Chaos following wherever he went. Something chaotic was following him. And it wasn't me. I was in canterlot. What was that? I, of course, visited celestia. She wasn't worried about me being there And that's when I knew we were in grave danger. I mean, I always alarm celestia, no matter what, but when I didn't...not a good thing at all. I was scared. She had maps all over her room. Towns were crossed off, all leading...to canterlot. Uh oh.
