Foalsitting job.
Heartwarming moment with Diamond Tiara.
"I'll be back tomorrow in the evening. Good luck Anon." Filthy rich says as he closes the door behind him. Why did you agree to foalsit Diamond tiara? 60 bits was a lot of money but Diamond will probably make you regret accepting that offer. However you're not going to let her win, you'll stay optimistic and happy until it’s all over.
"Okay, diamond it’s time for your bath." You shout, walking up the stairs up to her room. The door opens revealing the pink filly that now stood in front of you.
"Make this quick, the less time I spend with you the better." She says letting out an annoyed grunt. Both of you walk towards the bath, stopping at the sink and turning it on, filling the tub with water. Not to cold, but not too hot of course as everything must be perfect. When it’s full, Diamond Tiara steps closer to the water and starts inspecting it, she slowly sticks her hoof in it and then follows with the rest of her body. Phew, you did well.
"Do you want to play first? Or get straight to bathing?" You ask.
"Bathing, then I’m finally rid of you." She says turning her head away from you.
"Very well then." You grab some soap and a brush and begin scrubbing her back. Not to hard but still with enough power, as ordered from the little filly herself. Turning around you grab some shampoo and pour some on your hands, then you start kneading the shampoo in too her mane, making it some sort of massage. She tried her best not to show but she was obviously enjoying it. Soaping her tail and hooves was the last part, now it’s time to rinse. You turn on the sink and let water running, forming a bowl with your hands you start scooping up the water and pouring it over her small body, you were done fairly quick.
Stepping back you start searching for a towel, there are 2 towels on the table, a white one and a pink one. Hmm tough choice. You grab the pink one and step over back to diamond who has already leaped out of the tub. Starting with the front first you gently press the towel against her face, tapping a few times and then move on to her mane and coat. A little teasing could be fun, you think to yourself as when you reach her tummy you squeeze a bit. It alighted some small giggles but also a death glare from her.
"If you're done, you can go now. I can take care of myself." She says turning around and starting to move towards her room. Then an Idea pops up in your mind.
"I don't doubt that, but are you sure you don't want another massage?" You say stretching the last word. She stops right in her track and turns around, eyeing you with a confused look in her face.
"Why would you do that?"
"I don't mind taking care of you." You say with a grin. "Come downstairs, if you want I'll even brush your coat and mane." You say. It’s better to befriend that little monster than to have her as an enemy, you think to yourself. Diamond says nothing, she just looks at you still with a confused look on her face.
"I-I'll get the brush then." She mumbles a bit, walking towards her room and returning with a brush in her mouth. Smiling you walk down the stairs as she follows you. Entering the living room you sit down on the couch and tap twice on your lap. Again she eyes you with that confused face of hers.
"Come sit down." You say tapping on your lap once again. She hesitates for a moment but still walks towards you and lays herself on your lap. Again you begin kneading her head, moving your hands in circles. This time she does nothing to hide any signs of that she liked the massage, instead you could see a satisfied little smile. You start to slow down the movements and applying a little bit more pressure, causing her muscles to loosen a lot. When you notice she is fairly calm you move your hands to her back. Now using way more pressure you knead in to her back muscles. Damn, even fillies were hidden bodybuilders here in equestria, you think to yourself.
"Time to brush your mane and coat?" You ask at which she simply hums "mmhmm." You take that as a yes.
Grabbing ahold of the brush you slowly start brushing her mane until it was back to its normal state and all shiny again. Next up was her coat and tail, these two were a lot easier because you only had to brush in the same direction. By the time you were done Diamond Tiara already had her eyes closed and if you weren't mistaken she still had a small on her face. Mission success.
"It's time for bed, don’t worry I'll carry you." You say softly as you place your arms under her and lift her, she doesn't weigh too much and you easily bring her up the stairs and into her room. There you place her on her bed and tucked her in. Hmm, I might as well try my luck. Moving your head closer to hers you plant a small kiss on her forehead. At this she half opens her eyes and a big smile appears on her face.
"Goodnight anon." She says softly.
"Goodnight Diamond." You say walking out of her room and going back downstairs. You place yourself on the couch while thoughts flew through your mind. I NAILED IT, Yeah! I made peace with the enemy. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea at all to accept the foalsitting job, you think to yourself while a yawn escapes your mouth. It’s probably bed time for you as well.
You stand up and start walking up the stairs towards the guest room, opening the door reveals a very tidy room with a 2 pony bed, a nightstand and the alternative entrance to the bathroom. Plopping yourself in the bed you instantly fall asleep.

The next morning.

Slowly you open your eyes and stretch your body. The bed felt so cozy and soft, you assume that filthy rich only has the best of the best in his house. Turning around you notice an object standing in the doorway. There stood Diamond Tiara with a smile on her face... You flinch at the sight of her and check your body for anything strange. Suddenly she starts galloping towards the bed, quickly you brace yourself for whatever she was going to do, but nothing happens. She lands next to you on the bed and simply looks at you.
"Morning sleepyhead, come on let's go!" She says enthusiastically while tugging at your arm.
"Go where?" You ask confused.
"You have to comb my hair again, and make breakfast."
"Oh yeah." You say standing up and following her down the stairs to the living room. For some reason she was actually bouncing the entire time and when you sit on the couch she leaps towards you, landing on your lap and nuzzling in to your chest.
"Err where is the brush?" You ask.
"Hmm?" She responds dreamily while still nuzzling into your chest.
"The brush, so I can comb your mane?"
"Oh yeah, the brush..." She quickly dashes towards table, grabs the brush and scoots back towards you.
"Here you are." She says dropping it next to you and cuddling herself close again. You wonder why she turned so friendly all of a sudden, but it’s better than her being a brat so you just deal with it.
After the combing session you walk to the kitchen, grab two bowls of cereal and return to the living room putting them on different ends of the table. The strange thing about this all was that Diamond Tiara never left your side, she just walked along with you and kept staring at you in the process, it was freaky but once again you shrug it off realizing this is better than having her being mad all the time. However when you sit down on the other side of the table she just readjusts the position of her bowl so that it would be right next to yours. Could have seen that one coming...
"So what do we have planned for today?" You ask breaking the silence.
"I need to go to the spa, and m-maybe we could...go for a walk in the park after?" She asks nervously pressing her hooves together.
"Sounds good."

Both of you walked through the streets of pony Ville, on your way to the spa. Diamond was once again walking almost directly next to you the whole time. She seemed to be beaming of happiness. However at one moment you could overhear some ponies speaking to each other next to a building.
"Poor fellow, having to foalsit her."
"Yeah, I heard he was the only one to accept that offer, he's probably not the brightest tool in the shed."
Suddenly Diamond Tiara drops her head and increases the distance between the two of you. She probably heard them talking and If she wouldn't have changed so much you would probably agree with them, but in the current situation they were completely wrong.
"I'm glad I have to foalsit you, there is nothing better than spending time with you." You say trying to cheer her up.
"R-really?" She asks with hopeful eyes.
"Of course, they should be jealous of me instead."
She giggles in glee as she jumps up to your neck wrapping her forelegs around you nuzzling in to your cheek. You wrap your arms around her as well, making her hum in delight. She then turns her head around and sticks her tongue out at the ponies who spoke the words and returns to nuzzling you.
Diamond Tiara spends the rest of the trip sitting on your shoulders as you arrived at the spa. You put her down once you're inside as she pulls out a bag of bits and walks towards the counter. She returns with 2 tickets in her mouth. Apparently you were coming with her.

"That was amazing." You say as you exit the spa, walking next to Diamond tiara.
"It was. Are we going to the park now?" She asks.
"If you want to, of course."
The walk towards the park is fairly silent, it was bugging you that she couldn't keep her eyes off you. She just kept on staring the whole time.
"Is there something wrong?" You ask.
"N-no I was just wondering, c-can you carry me again?" She asks with a blush on her face.
"On my shoulders you mean?"
"No I-I mean in your arms..." Her voice nearly mutes at the end of that sentence.
"Sure." You say bending over and picking her up. When you're standing once again she embraces you pressing her chest flat against yours.
Walking through the park with Diamond Tiara in your arms she speaks up when you near a bench.
"Can we sit down here?" She asks. You walk over to the bench and put her down there whilst you take a seat next to her. Placing her head on your shoulder she lets out a deep sigh.
"Anon, are you my friend?"
"What? Of course I’m your friend."
"H-have you ever thought of me being more than your friend?" She asks removing her head from your shoulder and looking deep into your eyes.
"Huh? As family? As my little sister or something?" You ask confused.
"No... As y-your ... Special somepony..."
You could swear you heard something click in your mind. It’s all obvious now, the kindness, the nuzzling, the carrying. She liked you. Well fuck…
"I'm sorry Diamond, but you're too young."
"Please! I'll pay anything... Please love me..."
You pull her close for a hug, and pass your hand through her mane.
"You can't buy love Diamond, and you don’t have to." You say pulling her close and planting a kiss on her cheek. You could feel a sudden shock through her spine as she looks at you with a surprised look on her face.
"I love you as a friend, I'm sure there are enough colts here in ponyville that would like to be your coltfriend." You say in calm tone.
She doesn't answer but just holds you tight as you share each other’s warmth in a cuddling embrace.
"You're father is going to be home anytime now. Shall we go?" You ask. You receive a single nod as she doesn't release you. Carrying it is then.
The walk home was a silent one, as she stayed in your embrace all the way until you were back on the couch. The moment you sat down you could hear the door open again as me rich walked in.
"Good evening Anonymous, I assume everything went well?"
"Yes, It was quite fun actually." You say looking over to Diamond Tiara who had separated herself from you.
"Excellent." He says reaching in to his saddle bag and passing you a bag of bits "your pay. Are you willing to do this again anytime soon?" He asks.
"Sure, don't hesitate to ask me." You say in an assuring tone.
"Very well then, until we meet again Anonymous." He waves as you walk towards the door. You exit and were about to start walking back home until you heard the door behind you again. When you turn around you’re assaulted by Diamond Tiara who takes a leap and wraps her hooves around you while she presses her cheek against yours.
"I'll miss you Anon." She whispers.
"I'll miss you too."
"Oh and Anon?"
"Yes?" You ask.
"Just friends." She says as she gives you a quick kiss on your cheek and runs back inside.
"Just friends indeed."
