A cynical Private Detective named Booker Dewitt is mistakenly taken to a world of colorful equines by his companion, Elizabeth.

During the events of BioShock Infinite, Elizabeth accidentally opens a tear that causes her and Booker to be transported to a world alien to both of them, Equestria. Now, that isn't to say the constants aren't there.

"There's always a man, a lighthouse, and a city"

Chapter One: Through The Tear

Booker raised his hands to protect his eyes from the blinding light as Elizabeth opened up a tear to their next destination. There was the sensation of a the tear opening, a sensation like no other, a mixture of soul-piercing pain and unimaginable pleasure, followed by the sensation of... Falling? No, that wasn't right. The tear would've put them on solid ground in an alternate Columbia...

"Ah-AHHHH!" Booker shouted, his body tumbling as he fell downwards.Through the blurriness of rapid movement he could make out what looked like buildings, but he was moving away from them. Luckily, Elizabeth latched onto him so his only worry was nailing a landing that wouldn't decimate them. So, thinking quickly, he stuck out his left arm and revved up the Skyhook.

They fell for seemingly an eternity before it finally latched on to something. And when it did, Booker could feel the inertia sending his organs flying into his ribs, the pain causing him to slip his hand away from Elizabeth.

Elizabeth screamed as she fell once more, but she stopped as abruptly as she had started. Once the adrenaline, and in Booker's case pain, wore off they were able to assess their surroundings.

"What the...?" Booker's lips and mind both stumbled a moment, trying to seek the appropriate response for what lay before them.

Elizabeth had opened a tear to a bright and vibrant, almost cartoon-ish, world full of bustling pinks, brilliant blues, chocolaty browns, and light greens. Nothing looked normal, in fact, the building Booker latched onto was shaped like a ginormous cupcake.

Upon inspecting the people.. Or horses... Around them, they seemed to be in as much shock as they were. The beings, some elegant and others ragtag, had oblong snouts, spherical heads, vibrant manes, and stocky bodies. They were sure their eyes were much more refined when not wide open with their mouths agape.

"A-A-ALIENS!" One of the things pointed. Suddenly, panic erupted in the area as the whole group fanned out shrieking.

Booker released the Skyhook's trigger and fell from the signpost he was hanging on. "Pfft, not much of a welcoming party is it?" He snarked, clipping the hook back onto his waist.

"Better than Comstock, I suppose..." Elizabeth trailed off as she got up and patted herself off.

"W-what is this place?" Booker asked, crouching down to feel the alien dirt.

"I don't know... I'm sure they can't help us get those guns though."

Booker stood up and turned around to read the sign he once hung from.

"Sugarcube Corner...? That's odd..." He remarked.

"Fancy a look?" Elizabeth asked, heading in.

"I've done worse today." Booker replied, strolling through the wooden doors to the Bakery.

The room, just as the world outside, was vibrant and alive with colors. There were tables on the right hand side abandoned.

"I guess we got them off guard." Booker mumbled, kicking a napkin on the ground.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth had approached the counter at the end of the store and hovered her and over the bell hesitantly before ringing it twice.

From behind the counter a bright pink... Thing... Leaped up with a commodity of instruments strapped to her and begin singing.

"Welcome, welcome, welcome, a fine welcome to you! Welcome, welcome, welcome, I say 'how do you do?'. Welcome, welcome, welcome, I say hip-hip-hooray! Welcome, welcome, welcome, to our dimension today!"

Booker lunged back and clutched his pistol. "Jesus! Shut that thing up!" He shouted.

"Huh, mind my friend over there. And how did you know we came from another dimension?" Elizabeth questioned.

"Heh, lucky guess!" The pink creature replied with a smile. "I'm Pinkie Pie, and you?" Elizabeth giggled girlishly at the extreme feminine nature of the setting and gracefully replied "I am... Princess... Eli-Elizabiano-no, I am Fairy-princess Amelia Rosemary the Second. And that's my court jester who tagged along!"

Booker grunted. "Can you two just cut the chatter. Elizabeth, can't you open up one of those tears or something to get us out?"

"Wait a minute! I thought she was Fairy-Princess Amelia Rosemary the Second!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, casting her instrumental gear aside.

"Oh! Uh, it is!" Elizabeth replied, laughing. "Jester Dewitt is just a little shaken from all this. Speaking of the Jester, the answer is no. We must've been lead here for a reason and we need to find it."

"Fine, just don't let those things come out from nowhere anymore, okay?" Booker said angrily as he approached the counter and took a good look at "Pinkie Pie".

"So, 'Pinkie Pie', what exactly is this place?" Booker asked half-sarcastically.

Pinkie Pie leaped up on top of the counter and pulled down an elaborate diagram and began singing.

"This is the land of Equestria, governed by her regalness Celestia! We are all ponies here, you see? Some fly and use magic but how could this be? We all owe our powers to the Sister's Elements of Harmony! We have Pegasi, Dragons, and Cacti too! Now stand by while I perform Skip To My Lou!"

The pony pulled out a recorder and began playing the aforementioned song but couldn't get far before Booker put his hand on her arm.

"Please! That's... That's enough. Can you just tell us?" Booker asked.

"Gee, Bossy-Pants! If you want to know a lot more you could see my friend Twilight Sparkle! She has these new shiny wings and they're all fancy and they go woosh, woosh when she flaps them and I think Rainbow Dash is totally jealous but-"

"Where can we find Twilight Sparkle?" Elizabeth asked, cutting Pinkie's anecdote off.

"She lives in this big fancy tree just down the road, you can't miss it!" Pinkie shouted happily as she forcibly walked Booker and Elizabeth to the door.

"Come back now, ya' here?" Pinkie said as she closed the door behind her, leaving Booker and Elizabeth out in public.

"Well that was..." "Sporadic" Elizabeth said, finishing Booker's sentence.

"So... Giant tree?" Elizabeth asked, putting her hand in Booker's.

"Let's."
