Applejack is hailed as a hero for saving two fillies, however, when Granny Smith gives her a special gift, she can't help but ask how she across such a magnificant piece. She soon learns about the side of her grandmother she never knew.
Only a week ago Applejack was an upstanding, hardworking pony ready to help any who ask at the drop of a hat. But today she is the hero who saved Aura and Sunny Daze, two earth fillies, from an untimely death at the claws of a diseased diamond dog.
Today she is recognized, once again, as the hero of Ponyville. However, there's a problem, Granny Smith has become increasingly withdrawn in the past weeks, and today is no exception. What ails her loving, outgoing grandmother?
She soon finds out, and not only does she receive a wonderful gift, but she also learns about the side of her grandmother she never knew.
