The Doctor in his 11th incarnation takes Apple Bloom on a journey of a lifetime.
The Doctor, the last of the Time Lords has regenerated into his 11th incarnation. Arriving in Equestria, he meets the young filly Apple Bloom. The Doctor takes the young filly who, after the Doctor returns 15 years later, has grown up into a young adult pony on a journey throughout Time and Space. With Apple Bloom as the Doctor's newest companion, the two fight various aliens, save planets, and meet new and familiar faces......
The Doctor in his 10th incarnation stood as he looked at the Wedding of Donna Noble. Two of the Nobles, Wilfred and Donna's mother approached the Doctor, "Ahhh and here you are....." Wilfred greeted, "Didn't I tell you, you'll be alright?" Wilfred continued, "Oh....that's right, forgot to tell you, they've arrested Mr.Naysmith, it was on the news, him and his daughter....both of them locked up. I've been thinking....Doctor, there's one thing you never told me.....that woman.....who was she?"
The Doctor looked over to Donna and the group, then back at Wilfred, "I just came to give you this....." He said as he pulled out an envelope from his overcoat pocket, "Wedding present.....thing is I've never carried money so I just popped back in time, borrowed a quill off a really lovely man......Jeffery Noble his name was....." At the mention of the name, Donna's mother gasped and covered her mouth, "Have it he said...." The Doctor said, "Have that on me....."
Wilfred looked at the Doctor with slight tears and smiled. The two walked back over to Donna, "What's this then?" Donna asked, "Ohh don't tell me....it's a bill, just what I need right now." She opened the envelope to find a ticket, "A Lottery ticket?! What a cheap present....who was that? Still, you never know....trouble all around this week....I might get lucky! Oi! Shaun!"
Wilfred and Donna's mother looked back over to the Doctor as Wilfred gave a salute. The Doctor gave a sad expression as he turned and walked back to the TARDIS. Wilfred started to cry, tears rolled down his cheeks as the TARDIS de-materialized.

It was a snowy New Years of the year 2005 as Rose Tyler and her mother Jackie Tyler walked down the street, "Late now....I've missed it, midnight....Mickey's gonna be calling me now, this is your fault!" Rose complained.
"No it's not, it's Jim though, he said he was gonna give us a lift and he was absent and his car broke, I can't help it!" Jackie snapped back.
"Think of it Mum, he's useless!!" Rose replied.
"Listen to you....the mechanic!" Jackie said, "Be fair though....in my time in life, I'm not gonna do much better!"
The two stopped as Rose comforted her mother, "Don't be like that.....you never know....there could be someone out there...."
"Maybe..... one day....." Jackie said, "Happy New Year!"
"Happy New Year!" Rose smiled as she gave her mother a hug, "Don't stay out all night....." She scolded.
"Just try and stop me...." Jackie countered as the two parted ways.
As Rose made her way into a building, a sudden grunt caught her attention. She turned as she saw a man with wild brown hair, with a long brown overcoat and a brown pinstriped suit underneath, "You alright mate?" She asked.
"Yeah....." The man replied.
"Have a bit too much to drink?" Rose asked.
"Something like that....." The man answered.
"Maybe it's time you went home....." Rose said.
"Yeah......" The man said. Rose began to walk off until the man spoke up, "What year is this?" He asked.
Rose smiled, "Come on mate, you should figure it out...." The man tilted his head. "2005, January the 1st." Rose said.
"2005....." The man replied, "Tell you what...." He said smiling, "I'll bet you're going to have a really great year!" He had slight tears in his eyes.
"Yeah?" Rose smiled, "See ya...." She said. She ran into the building and up the stairs.
The man known as the Doctor smiled as he then gave another pained grunt. The pain became unbearable as the Doctor had held the radiation he had absorbed for so long. He slowly limped his way toward the TARDIS, "GRAGGHHHH!!" He gave a cry of pain as he fell onto his hands and knees. The Doctor then looked up as he saw him: Ood Sigma.
"We shall sing to you Doctor.....the universe shall sing you to your sleep....." Ood Sigma said.
The Doctor got up as he continued his way to the TARDIS, he then closed the door weakly behind him as he threw off his overcoat. Looking at his hand he noticed a golden energy coming out of it. He walked over to the console as he pulled a lever. The TARDIS de-materialized and re-materialized over the planet, however the planet was different than before. The Doctor then turned as tears flowed down his cheeks, "I don't wanna go...." He cried. The Doctor's face and hands started to glow with golden energy. The Doctor breathed heavily as the energy began to build and it suddenly burst out of him. The TARDIS console room began to spark and explode and fire started to erupt. "ARGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!" The Doctor screamed in pain as the energy ceased. He stumbled back a bit. He was now in a new incarnation as he looked down and grabbed his legs, kissing them, "Legs....I still got legs....." He said. He wiggled his fingers, "Ohh hands, fingers...lots of fingers...." He then grabbed his hair, "AND STILL NOT GINGER!!!" He shouted. "Wait....." He checked his throat, "I'm a girl.....no....no I'm not a girl...." The Doctor then tapped the sides of his head, "What was I doing...I'm....I'm..." The TARDIS suddenly sparked and shook. The Doctor laughed as he grabbed onto the Console, "CRASHING!!!" The Doctor said. He ran to the computer on the Console, "HAHAHA!! WHOO HOO!!" He cheered. The TARDIS began to spin out of control as the Doctor held on for dear life, "GERONIMOOOOOOOO!!!" He shouted.

Luna's night casted it's presence on the peaceful town of Ponyville. On the farm of Sweet Apple Arces, Apple Bloom had trouble getting sleep. Applejack and Big Macintosh had gone out of town for several weeks, leaving Granny Smith to watch over Apple Bloom. Apple Bloom got out of her bed as she looked out the window towards the stars. Giving a small sigh she made a wish, "Ah wish Ah had a special friend....." She said holding her hooves in a pleading gesture, "One Ah can go on adventures with.....and possibly fahnd mah Cutie Mark....." As if on que Apple Bloom noticed a blue box tumbling through the air as it came crashing down near the Apply family barn near one of the Apple trees. Giving a gasp, Apple Bloom rushed down the stairs as she made her way outside. She then saw that the blue box was turned over on it's side. Suddenly the doors had opened as two hands grasped the side of the box and a strange creature's head popped out. The creature had wet brown hair, hazel colored eyes, and wore a ragged down shirt and a tie. The creature was also covered in sweat.
The creature then spoke, "Can I have an apple..... all I can think about....apples, a craving that's new....never had a craving before....." The creature smiled, "And you're a horse.....well....a small horse.....have I landed in a land of horses? Gosh that's pretty awkward yet interesting....."
Apple Bloom couldn't help but stare with a confused look at the strange creature. This was going to be a long night.......
Apple Bloom's mind was overloaded with curiosity as she kept staring at the strange creature. Where did he come from and what is that strange blue box? Apple Bloom was about to speak when the creature continued talking. He climbed up and sat on the side of the box, looking inside it, "Ha! Look at that!!" He said with a smile, "Shouldn't be long now....I should have the TARDIS fixed up hopefully.....internal engines damaged."
Finally Apple Bloom spoke up, "You sure are strange mister....." She said, "Who are ya'll, an' what are ya exactly?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Blimey!! You can talk!" The creature laughed, "Never met a talking horse before.....at all actually, I'm the Doctor....and of course I....GAHH...." The creature known as the Doctor suddenly spasmed as he fell and landed on the ground.
Apple Bloom gasped, "Are ya alrahght?!" She said, concern evident in her southern voice.
"Yes....fine, just fine....this is all completely norm....." The Doctor spasmed again as he coughed out a strange golden energy. He looked at his hands and continued, "Yes....I'm fine.....still cooking!"
Apple Bloom tilted her head to the side in confusion, "Yer sure y'all are alrahght? Yer pretty funny mister....." She chuckled.
The Doctor stood, "Right......" He began, "Listen carefully.....do everything I tell you, stay close, and most of all....don't wander off....." He turned as he suddenly hit his head on a tree and fell over. Apple Bloom tried to suppress a giggle, "Right....steering's a bit off....." The Doctor said. He got up again, "Do you have food here?....." He asked.
"Well.... we got Apples, finest and tastiest in all of Equestria," Apple Bloom smiled. She was starting to take a liking to this 'Doctor' as he called himself. Apple Bloom gave another confused look, "Effin' Ya'll are a Doctor, do ya fix ponies up?"
The Doctor smiled, "Well....I'm not that kind of Doctor......but I suppose....yes...." He looked up at the Apple tree. He then picked one of the Apples off the tree and bit into it. He suddenly spat it out, "That's disgusting, what is that?!"
"Uhhh....that's an Apple......" Apple Bloom said flatly with her eyes lowered.
"Apples....rubbish, I hate Apples...." The Doctor chucked the fruit over his shoulder. He noticed Apple Bloom's sad expression. "What....." He said.
"Y'all don't like Apples?" Apple Bloom asked sadly.
"No....they're rubbish.....what else do you have?" The Doctor said.
"Well....nothin' else really....." Apple Bloom replied, "But Ah can check....come on, Ah'll take ya to the house, be quiet though, mah Granny Smith is still sleepin'."
The Doctor followed Apple Bloom to the house as they arrived in the kitchen. "If y'all want....Ah can bake ya an Apple pie! Mah Granny taught me ta make 'em!" Apple Bloom gave a grin which made a squeaking noise.
The Doctor gave a frown, "Apple Pie?! Are you insane?!" He then looked around the kitchen, "Hold on.....I need....." He searched through the cupboards, "I....need, I need....AHA!!" He pulled out two items, "Peanut Butter....and Celery!"
An hour passed as the two sat on either end of a table and ate, "So now.....what's your story little horse?" The Doctor asked smiling as he crunched down on a piece of Celery with Peanut Butter on it.
"Well....first off, Ah'm not a horse....Ah'm a pony!" Apple Bloom began, "Mah name is Apple Bloom!"
"Apple Bloom.....very cute name...." The Doctor replied, "Where are your parents? They don't seem to be anywhere....."
Apple Bloom looked down, "Ah.....Ah don't have any parents....." She said sadly.
"You don't? I'm sorry.....I shouldn't have...." The Doctor began.
Apple Bloom cut him off, "No....it's alrahght....." She sniffed as a tear ran down her cheek. The Doctor got up as he suddenly embraced the filly.
"Listen to me....." He said calmly, "Don't be afraid....whatever you do....don't be scared of anything." He looked at her with a smile, "Trust me.....I'm the Doctor!"
Apple Bloom gave a smile. The Doctor then suddenly heard a sound, a low ringing noise, "NO! NO, NO!!!" The Doctor suddenly ran out the door.
"What!!" Apple Bloom said following, "What's goin' on?!"
"It's the TARDIS, she's malfunctioning!" The Doctor said. He climbed up the side of the blue box that was the TARDIS. He looked back at Apple Bloom, "I'll be back....give me five minutes....."
"Wait!!! Where y'all goin'?!" Apple Bloom asked.
"Just five minutes.....I'll come back and then I'll take you with me!" The Doctor smiled.
Apple Bloom gave a gasp of joy, "Really?! You'll take me with you?!" She squeed. Apple Bloom felt happier than ever, she suddenly stopped, "But.....Applejack said Ah'm not supposed to go runnin' off with strange ponies...."
The Doctor jumped down as he looked down at Apple Bloom, "Am I a pony?....Do I even look like a pony?" He asked. Apple Bloom was silent. The Doctor got back up on the TARDIS, "Five minutes.....I'll be back." He smiled at Apple Bloom as the filly smiled back. The Doctor then jumped down into the box, "GERONIMOOOOOOOOOO!!!" He shouted. The doors closed as Apple Bloom watched in awe as the TARDIS de-materialized.
Apple Bloom gave a grin as she ran back inside the Apple family house and began to pack her things. After she was packed she sat down on the ground and waited. She had waited a long while as she eventually grew tired, and then she had fallen asleep.
The TARDIS had materialized on Sweet Apple Arces as the Doctor ran out. "APPLE BLOOM!" He shouted, "APPLE BLOOM?" He looked around the farm as he suddenly saw a yellow pony with a red mane and tail and sported a brown cowboy hat on her head, her Cutie Mark was an Apple with a flower in the center. The pony was bucking Apples as she turned to the source and her orange eyes widened. "Excuse me.....have you seen Apple Bloom.....little filly that looks just like....." The Doctor stopped, "You....." The Doctor was stunned.
The pony gave a long angry glare at the Doctor, "It's about tahme you show up......" She said calmly with an older voice. Apple Bloom had matured into a young adult pony. She then shouted, "WHERE WERE YOU?! AH WAITED FER YOU!!!"
"Apple Bloom......" The Doctor said calmly, "I'm sorry....."
"IT'S A LITTLE TOO LATE FER THAT!!!" Apple Bloom snapped. She picked up a bucket of apples as she carried them over to a wagon.
"You're Apple Bloom....the little filly, you can't be...." The Doctor said.
"Well, when ya wait fer 15 YEARS things change!" Apple Bloom replied in annoyance.
"15 years?! I said I would be back in 5 minutes!" said the Doctor.
"Well.....Ah learned from mah sister Applejack that sometahmes, ya can't always keep a promise...." Apple Bloom said. She gave a sigh and she took off her hat as her ears drooped, "Doctor......mah mind says Ah shouldn't trust ya, but....." She gave a smile, "Mah heart tells me ta forgive ya..... as part of the Apple Family ways.... Ah have ta be forgivin'......everypony makes mistakes." Apple Bloom rested a hoof on the Doctor's chest, "Ah trust what mah heart tells me...."
The Doctor smiled, "Well then..... what say you to an adventure?"
"Ah say YEEE-HAW!!!" Apple Bloom briefly got on her hind legs waving her front hooves in the air. She then suddenly embraced the Doctor as a tear fell down her cheek, "Ah'm mighty sorry Ah snapped at ya..... Ah should've known better."
The Doctor was caught off guard as the young pony hugged him. He smiled returning the hug, "It's quite alright..... it was my fault." The Doctor then rubbed his hands, "Right then..... before we go, I need a decent shirt.....to hell with the Raggedy....."

The two arrived at Carousel Boutique, "Hmmm....doesn't seem to be anyone here...." The Doctor said.
"That's cause Rarity moved ta Canterlot and is now Equestria's most popular designer. Sweetie Belle runs the shop now but she's not here rahght now...." Apple Bloom replied.
"Right....." The Doctor began taking clothes as he tried them on.
Apple Bloom gasped, "Hey!!! What are ya'll doin'? Those clothes belong ta Sweetie Belle....she needs those fer designs!"
"Oh I'm sure Sweetie won't mind.... besides, there's a bowtie in here.....I'd look good in a bowtie, bowties are cool...." The Doctor laughed, "Ohhh....a Fez! I should wear a Fez, Fezzes are also cool......" He put on the fez, "Oh this is cool...."
Apple Bloom rolled her eyes.
After the Doctor came out of the dressing cover, he wore a tweed jacket with a red bowtie and suspenders, with dark pants and boots and a fancy golden watch on his left hand, "Well....what do you think?"
Apple Bloom smiled, "Ya look handsome sugarcube....." Apple Bloom smiled, 'Thanks ta Applejack Ah caught on ta her catchphrase....' She thought. "Lose that fez an' yer good....." She said.
"Oh come on......it's a Fez! It's cool! You can't beat a Fez!" The Doctor replied.
Apple Bloom gave a sigh, "Alrahght.....fine, keep the Fez!"
"Shall we?" The Doctor said. He then ran off. The Doctor arrived at the TARDIS, "Okay....what have you got for me this time....." He opened the door as he stared at the new interior. A smile slowly spread across his face, "Look at you....." He laughed, "You sexy thing....." Before heading inside he turned on his heel toward Apple Bloom, "Apple Bloom....the Filly Who Waited. Wait no longer.....because here......is where it all begins...." The Doctor opened the door.
Apple Bloom entered the TARDIS as she looked around in awe and amazement, "It's......it's......"
"I know......" The Doctor smiled as he knew the exact reaction. He ran up to the Console, "All of Time and Space.....everything that ever happened or ever will......where do you want to start?...."
Apple Bloom was full of joy. This was the happiest moment of her life......
Apple Bloom couldn't hold her excitement, "This is so amazin'!" She said, "Where we goin'? Where ya takin' me?" She felt like a little filly again, she was so happy.
The Doctor gave a smile, "Where ever you like.....but first." The Doctor pulled a lever, "I need to visit an old friend....."
The TARDIS shook as Apple Bloom gasped, "Hang on....the ride's gonna be bumpy!" The Doctor said. The Doctor pressed several buttons and switches as the TARDIS flew through the Time Vortex. The Console room spun as Apple Bloom held onto a railing for dear life while the Doctor ran around and was working the controls. The Console gave off sparks as the Doctor continued to fly the TARDIS.
The TARDIS finally came to a halt as Apple Bloom struggled to stand, "Did we land?" She asked.
"Yes.....we're here....." The Doctor replied. A whooping-type noise was heard as a Sonic Screwdriver popped out of the Console. "Ohhh....a new one!" The Doctor smiled as he took the Screwdriver and tested it as it gave off a buzzing sound and the tip glowed a brilliant green. He then put it in his jacket pocket, "Thanks dear......" He patted the TARDIS console. The Doctor spun on his heel toward the door and ran to it, "Apple Bloom, my friend......prepare to see a new world....." The Doctor opened the door and gestured Apple Bloom out. Apple Bloom smiled as she trotted out of the TARDIS.
They had arrived in a dark city on a new planet. There was an alley way that stretched out into the streets, the skies were dark, covered with clouds as a slight hint of rain hit the ground. Dimly-lit street lamps illuminated the alley. Apple Bloom covered her head with her hooves, covering her hat, "Doc', ya coulda told me there'd be rain, mah mane's gonna get wet....ah but who am Ah ta complain, a little rain never hurt anypony!"
"Right.....this way...." The Doctor said as he closed the door of the TARDIS. The two made their way through the alley as they came to an open entrance as a row of beads went down where the door would be. The Doctor and Apple Bloom stepped through and had entered a dark room, lit by candles. In the center of the room, a rather large blue man sat cross-legged on a pillow with a small table in front of him. He was counting coins and placing them on the table.
The blue man looked up as he saw the two newcomers enter his shop and smiled, "My, my, we meet again Doctor....."
"Hello Dorium...." The Doctor smiled.
Apple Bloom blinked as she stared in awe at the strange blue man, "Are y'all an alien?...." She asked with curiosity in her southern voice.
Dorium Maldovar looked at the pony and then back at the Doctor, "I say Doctor.....this is new, I never thought you were one for taking species other than humans as Companions....." He gave a chuckle.
The Doctor smiled, "Yes....well, I decided a different companion was in order...." He looked at Apple Bloom.
"Howdy!" Apple Bloom smiled, "Ah'm Apple Bloom, nice ta meet ya Mr.Dorium...." She extended a hoof towards the blue man.
"A pleasure my dear....." Dorium took the hoof and shook it, "And your companion has quite the manners Doctor," He said to the Doctor, "I assume you aren't just stopping by to say hello?"
"Yes.....well, no actually....then again, probably....." The Doctor replied, "Thing is....I need a favor." He clapped his hands together.
Dorium gave a sigh, "Yes...well, I knew you couldn't keep me out of your sight, I already owe you one debt already. What could you possibly want this time?"
"I need a device capable of transferring Time Energy....."
"ARE YOU MAD?!" Dorium snapped, "I can't get my hands on that sort of technology....it's practically well beyond my wealth!"
"Well then...." Said the Doctor, "I'll be on my way...." He gave Dorium a salute, "Come along Apple....."
"Wait Doctor!!" Dorium said suddenly, "There is something I must tell you....it is of great importance." The Doctor and Apple Bloom turned, facing the blue man. "I have received a vision last night, a vision that tells a prophecy."
"What Prophecy?" Apple Bloom spoke up, "What does it say?....."
"Silence will fall when the question is asked....... on the fields of Trenzalore the 11th will fall, and the question will be asked.....the first question.....the question that must never be answered!"
"Come along Apple....." The Doctor said as he grew serious. The Doctor then walked out of the room. Apple Bloom followed with a worried look.
The two could hear Dorium shouting, "HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT!!! THE QUESTION YOU'VE BEEN RUNNING FROM ALL YOUR LIFE?!" The Doctor and Apple Bloom stopped at the TARDIS as the Doctor turned, a dark glare on his face, "Doctor....Who..... Doctor.....Who...... DOC-TOR. WHO!!!" Dorium shouted.
