> The Hunter > by TheDarkestWarrior > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Rough Awakening > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "My lord?" asked a disembodied voice from the young yautja's computer console. The predator groaned as he began to regain consciousness from the crash. He stood up and looked around at the damage to his ship. There was debris everywhere, blinking lights and annoying beeps signalling other damaged parts of the ship. It was less than pleasing to the hunter. "Computer!" the hunter grumpily demanded. "Yes Champion Guan-thwei." the computer responded in a monotone voice. "How may I be of service to you?" "I want damage reports for everything. I want them for the trophy room, the armoury, the cockpit, even for the fucking lavatory! AND I WANT THEM NOW!" Guan-thwei exclaimed "One second my lord" said the computer, which then began to make a series of beeps and bloops. The yautja snarled in anger and began to look around the room again. He than noticed a sarcophagus like case a few feet away from the captains chair and began to make his way towards it. He typed a code on a keypad that was sticking out of the side of the case. When the code was complete the keypad shot into the case and after a few seconds, it opened, revealing the hunters greatest trophy of all.... his armour. This armour was not like other armour. It was an armour forged only for great warriors known as Champions. The title of Champion in clans was not an easy one to achieve. A Warrior would have to defeat an entire hive of serpents, or destroy an U'darahje, a monstrosity caused when a serpent parasite infects a clan brother or sister. Such a creatures existence was a great dishonour. Guan-thwei had done both of these feats, earning his place as clan champion, and the respect of his Elders. Guan-thwei stroked the bio-mask and began to calm down. "Computer, do you have my reports yet?" he impatiently asked. "Yes my lord. The ship itself has sustained very minimal damage and repairs will be quite easy." Guan-thwei spirits where beginning to lift. "Unfortunately though....." Guan-thwei looked over his shoulder at the computer "The ships engines are extremely damaged and require an extensive amount of repair." Guan-thwei turned around and made his way back towards the computer, his anger beginning to bubble up again. "How long will these repairs take?" he mumbled through gritted teeth. "Calculating. Total engine repair time: one year." the computer stated with no emotion at all. Guan-thwei's left eye began to twitch and his mandibles began to flare. "How.Long?" he asked. The computer beeped for a few seconds "One year my lord. Shall I begin repairs now? The hunters frustration and anger had finally boiled over. Guan-thwei released a terrifyingly loud roar which echoed in the empty ship. The roar lasted for about 10 seconds, leaving the predator short breathed. The computer made a very unpleasant noise. " REQUEST DOES NOT COMPUTE. Please try again my lord." the computer stated. Guan-thwei looked at his computer with a look of complete exasperation, and then proceeded to face palm. Princess Celestia laid on her bed in her royal bed chambers, high above Canterlot Castle. She was looking over a few of Twilight Sparkles friendship reports. She loved reading her star pupil's reports before her royal duties began, they got her though her day. Celestia placed the report on her side table and began walking to her balcony to do her first duty of every day. Lifting the sun. The solar princess closed her eyes and began to focus. Her horn began to glow with a golden hue, her majestic wings spread to full length and she smiled as she felt the sun rise. This was Celestia's favourite part of her job. It was so calming, relaxing, and so perfect. When the sun took its place in the sky Celestia opened her eyes and sighed with a smile. Unfortunately for her though, the peaceful silence was broken by a short breathed Princess Luna, bursting through the bedroom doors like a firework. "TIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" The smaller alicorn shouted " I HAVE URGENT NEWS!" The princess of the sun was still recovering from the slight heart attack her sister had just given her. After a few seconds of deep breaths, Celestia looked at Luna with a exhausted expression "Luna how many times must I tell you, you don't need to speak that loud any more!" she said disappointedly "SIS-sister this is very important, so please listen!" "Very well Luna, but make it quick. I have a meeting with the griffon ambassador in a few minutes." Luna sat in front of Celestia and began to tell her sister the important news. "Last night I was stargazing like I do most nights, but last night was very different Tia. I noticed that one of the stars was moving, and not like a shooting star, this thing was moving in all directions." Princess Celestia's interest started to raise about the subject. "So, I used my telescope to get a better look at the star, but..... it wasn't a star Tia. It was a ship. Celestia's heart skipped a beat at the word "ship". She looked at her sister in disbelief "Luna, this had better not be another one of your pranks." she warned. Luna shook her head side to side rapidly making her slightly dizzy. "This is no trick my sister. Did you not hear the crash last night?" Celestia raised an eyebrow "Wait this 'ship' is on the planet?" Luna looked dumbfounded at her big sister, and then proceeded to walk towards her balcony, pointing at the Everfree Forest. "It crashed down there about three hours ago. You really didn't hear anything sister?" Luna asked with a concerned expression, but Celestia only chuckled to herself "Well, I have always been a heavy sleeper." she ended with a smile. Luna made her way back to her sisters side as they began to walk to the throne room. "So.... what should we do about this Tia?" Celestia paused and gave the question some serious thought. She looked down at her sister "Take a platoon of royal guard with you to the crash site. If there are any beings in that ship and if they are even still alive, we don't know if they are friendly or not." Luna nodded to Celestia "Very well, what will you do then my sister?" "I will stay here, I need to speak with the griffin ambassador remember." Luna nodded once again started to walk to the office of the leader of the royal guard, Captain Shining Armour. "Luna" she looked back at Celestia " Be safe." Luna smiled at her big sis "As to you Tia." With a quick nod the two alicorns went there separate ways, both anticipating the meeting of other life. > Meeting the Natives > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Is the air toxic on this planet computer?" Guan-thwei asked as he began putting on his armour. "From what my scans show, the atmosphere AND electromagnetic spectrum of this planet is remarkably similar to the Home worlds." the computer stated. The young predator smiled at that statement, as it would be much easier to breath and see on this planet. On most of the planets he had hunted on, Guan would always need a emergency nitrogen respirator if he was on the planet for more than a week, as all yautja breath more nitrogen then oxygen. It was nice to know for once he would be able to breath without his bio-mask, with no chances of passing out eventually. "What can you tell me of the fauna and flora of this world?" he questioned " If Im stuck here for for a year I should bring some trophies back to show for it." "Scanning...... most of the flora in the surrounding area is non toxic and completely edible. We seem to have also crashed in a large forest my lord. There is a pond 15 metres away from the ship, and as for fauna my lord, this forest is rich in worthy game as I have scanned three species of large carnivorous animals in the surrounding area." "Well, at least I won't be bored." Guan-thwei said with a evil chuckle as he finished putting on the last piece of his armour, minus his bio-mask. He looked down at the armour on his body. Unlike most other armours, his was bronze coloured instead of a silver like colour. It's right shoulder pad was more elongated for extra protection. Along with his great armour, was his great weapons. Firstly, there was his Wristblades. Two retractable blades in his right gauntlet, used for anything stupid enough to get close to him. Next was his Combistick, a two sided retractable metal spear. Guan had used this Combistick to take down most of his large game that he had hunted over the years. The first prey he had taken down with the Combistick was a towering humanoid species called a Yahg. This huge monstrosity had four pairs of eyes, all of which where highly sensitive to movement, making it nearly impossible for any being to outmaneuver it. Luckily for Guan-thwei though, he was not an ordinary being. This hunt was one of the longest he had to endure, as the creatures hide proved incredibly difficult to pierce..... but not that difficult for the hunter. On the fifth hour of there battle, Guan used all of his body's strength to plunge his Combistick through the creatures iron hard hide, into it's heart. The yahg laid lifeless in a pool of its own blood as Guan proceeded to decapitate the behemoth, claiming it's skull as his rightful trophy. Guan-thwei smiled as he recollected that certain hunt. When he had returned to the Home world with the yahg's head, he was honoured greatly by his fellow hunters and huntresses, and even the clan elders where impressed by by this feat. It was on that day Guan began his long journey to becoming his clans Champion. "My lord, your sivk'va-tai is fully charged and waiting for you in the armoury." The computer reported to the hunter. Guan-thwei nodded and looked down at his bio-mask. It to was a bronze colour with red eye lenses. It's forehead plate had a serrated rim, and the sides of the mask had a special cultural design. Guan put on his bio-mask and the once regular looking room was now all in infra-red vision. He began to cycle through the different vision choices the mask allowed him. There was infra-red vision, serpent vision, and x-ray vision, all of which had helped the predator in his previous endeavours. When all of his armour systems had checked out, the Champion began his decent to the armoury. The platoon of royal guard lead by Luna and Shining Armour had been walking through the Everfree Forest for a good ten hours now, but none of that mattered to Luna, all she wanted was to come face to face with another life form. As they continued walking, the princess of the night used her magic to sense how close they where to the crash site. It was only one more yard away. One yard. She raised her right wing to halt the guards movements. She turned around and looked at the ponies who had bravely followed her into the deep and dark forest with a hearty smile and determination burning in her eyes. "Brave mares and gentle colts, we are but one yard away from reaching our goal, contact with other life. I know that most of you are quite nervous, and I won't lie that Im not. If this visitor is alive and shows us no threat, you are all to show it the same emotions you would a pony. I speak of kindness and generosity in hopes that this will encourage the being will show us the same emotion ." Luna looked at the guard this time with a concerned expression "If this visitor shows malicious and harmful intent on any of us.... then we will have no choice but to defend ourselves. I pray to Faust this does not happen, but it is still a possibility that we must prepare for. We don't know what kind of technology this alien has and what its purposes are for, so be on you guard." Luna looked towards Shining "Are you absolutely sure your guards are ready Captain?" The lunar princess asked worryingly. Shining smiled to the princess "There as ready as they'll ever be princess, but I don't think anypony is truly MENTALLY prepared to meet something not from this world." Luna smiled back " Well then what are we waiting for Captain, lets get a move on!" she ordered. "YOU HEARD THE PRINCESS, WHERE MOVING OUT!" Guan-thwei exited his ship with one of most powerful weapons in his armoury, his Plasma Caster. The thing that made his Caster more powerful then others was it had a double heat modulator installed in within it. This allowed it to store more energy and shoot even hotter balls of plasma at his prey. The extra heat also gave the plasma a crimson red colour instead of the regular blue colour. He looked around himself. He appeared to be in a treeless area of the forest. Either that or his ship had knocked down all of them when it 'landed'. He started walking to where his computer said there was a pond, closing the ships entrance as he did so. After less than a minute of walking through some brush, low and behold there was a large fresh water pond. "Well at least I won't die of thirst" he said as he looked at his reflection in the pool of water. He used his mask to scan for edible foods. It picked up traces of fruit across the pond. Guan-thwei jumped into the pond and quickly began to swim to the other side. Laying in a pile where purple fruit with orange dots all over it. The hunter began gathering the fruit until his wristcomputer's emergency light began to blink. He pressed the flashing light, which then played a message from his ships computer. "My lord, I request you return to the ship, as a number of sentient lifeforms are making there way toward it" the message stated in the computers monotone voice. Guan was surprised to hear that there was sentient life on this planet, but very curious and angry for why they where try to get to his ship." He dropped the fruit and cloaked himself "Well, lets go meet the natives then." About a minute later, Guan had returned to the crash site and hide a tree still using his active camouflage. "Computer, how close are they to crash site?" he asked quietly through his Bio-mask. " Five metres my lord." Guan could hear movement in the forest, heat of the aliens body's as they came closer. "It's over here!" one of the creatures called out. Guan recorded the aliens statement and began searching for there language in his database, so he could then download there language through and speak to them through a translator. "Four metres my lord." the computer informed him. "No, turn around its over here I said!" the voice called out again. The database found the language they where speaking: English. " Why are these beings speaking a human language?" Guan thought to himself as he began downloading English into his Bio-masks translator. "Three metres." Guan's grip on the branch tightened. "Two metres." The hunters mind was focused, ready for anything. "One metre my lord" the computer said for a final time. Coming out from the brush of the forest, came something the predator was not expecting....... a group of armoured horses. It was generous to even call them horses, as there where about only half as tall as Guan was. " Computer, are these the beings you were referring to?" Guan asked hoping that the soulless machine would say no. "Yes they are my lord." The computer stated flatly to a very disappointed Guan-thwei. Guan noticed to more beings entering the area. One was just like the others, but the other was slightly taller. The hunter then noticed something about the taller equine. " Are those..... wings and a horn?" he asked himself. With a closer look, he noticed that most of them either had a pair of wings or a horn. "PRINCESS! we found a door but it won't budge!" yelled one of the horses. Guan looked quickly at the source of the voice. One of the equines was trying to get into his ship. Guan's anger began to boil a bit at this act, as trying to enter ones ship without permission in his culture was a great sigh of disrespect and dishonour. "My lord, your brain activity states that your incredibly close to killing the natives." the computer said. "And what of it." the predator hissed. "I would highly recommend you do not kill them until you are certain that they mean you bodily harm." The predator raised a questioning eyebrow at that suggestion " I suggest this because these species may have technology to help repair the ship faster." Guan hated to admit it, but the computer was right. If these equines evolved to the point of sentience, then the possibilities were endless. "Very well, I wont kill them...." Two more horses began to try and open the door ".... but I will teach them a lesson in respect." " This thing just doesn't want to move!" said a young solar guard private named Leaf Step. " QUIT YOUR BITCHING and just open it already!" ordered the captain of the lunar guard, Shadowed Lighting. Shadow had been the Lunar captain for five years and had become very close friends with Luna when she had returned from her banishment from the moon. "The faster we get this thing open, the faster we can go......." "OVER HERE...." said the voice of Leaf Step, but in a creepy whisper. Leaf stopped trying to open the door and looked around. The Lunar captain looked at the solar private "What in the name of Equestria do you think your doing, GET BACK TO WORK STEP!" she spat with venom as she made her way to the door " What's over here that's so important for you to stop working?" Shadowed Lightning questioned. "Th..at wasn't me Ma'am." he stated with fear dripping from his voice. "Look Leaf we don't have time for this bulls...." "TURN AROUND...." said Leaf Steps voice again, but to Shadow Lightning's horror, it didn't come from Leaf's mouth. The rest of the royal guard were hearing the menacing whisper as well, fear starting to take over the rest of there senses. Even the great Princess Luna was beginning to get scared. Shadow Lightning noticed this and galloped to her beloved princesses side to reassure her, leaving Leaf Step by himself. "OVER HERE................ TURN AROUND" the whisper repeated, causing mostly everypony to be constantly looking back and forth, hoping to find the source of the whisper, but not Leaf Step. The young guard was so petrified by his own voice whispering to him, that all he could do was simply walk backwards, keeping his eyes transfixed on the damaged spacecraft. "OVER HERE, TURN AROUND, OVER HERE, TURN AROUND, OVER HERE......" Leaf Step moved a little faster, still staring at the ship...... until he bumped into something. He could hear the gasps from his fellow brothers and sisters in arms and he feared he knew why. "Turn around." his voice said only once. Leaf Step slowly looked behind him, shaking whilst he did so, to find what they had been looking for. The alien. the creature was very big, doubling his size, it was translucent so it was hard to make out what it really looked like. The monster began to make a series clicks and snarls. Leaf thought that it was trying to communicate with him, so he stuck out his left hoof as a sign greeting. Along with the rest of the guard, Luna was burning with anticipation, waiting to see if the visitor would shake his hoof. "TIA, if only you were here to see this." she said to herself. The alien looked down at Leaf's hoof and began moving his own left hand towards Leaf's. The alien lightly grasped leaf's hoof, making the young colt smile up at the visitor, who just kept looking straight into his eyes. From afar, some of the royal guard where beginning to slowly walk towards what seemed to be, a new friend. After a few seconds, Leaf tried to pull his hoof from the aliens hand, but with no prevail. Now he was starting worried, as all the visitor was doing was staring at him, and then it happened. The monsters hand started to squeeze the small colts hoof, causing it to crick and crackle. Leaf was starting to feel pain and his fear had returned ten fold. He began thrashing, trying with everything he had to get his hoof lose. The guards and Luna noticed this but before they could act, it was to late. With little to no effort, the alien crushed Leaf's hoof, causing his hoof to chip and crack apart, and his wrist bone to snap through his skin. Luna and the guard gasped at the raw strength of the alien, and where to stunned by what just happened to do anything about it. Leaf screamed out in pain as blood poured from his hoof. Out of nowhere, The alien grabbed the colt with his right hand and released his hoof. The towering creature raised Leaf Step by his throat, making themselves eye level with each other. Leaf stared into the eyes of the monstrosity that had just destroyed his hoof, and it looked straight back into his. Though his pain, Leaf could hear a series of beeps and blips coming from the alien, and after a few seconds, from what it seem to the young guard, the creatures translucent skin was disappearing, and becoming something else. When the translucency was gone, there before all of there eyes was the true alien. The tall being through Leaf step like he was baseball, straight into his ship, knocking the poor pony unconscious. It then turned its attention towards the rest of the guard... and the princess. With the alien looking towards them, Luna got a better look of what it looked like. The armour it wore was metallic brown colour. It wore helmet so she could not see what the creatures face looked like, but what she saw from its body, it appeared to be a reptilian, as its skin looked scaly and dry. Also, it's skin was a blue colour. It's body was very toned and muscular, even more so than that of any Minotaur she had ever seen. Then she found the one thing she had prayed the visitor would not have. Weapons. The aliens weapons seemed blades and a spear. Luna knew that this creature was not friendly, but yet she yearned to try to make peace with it, to be friends with it, and to help it in any way she could. The alien began to walk towards them. This filled the guards with a passion to protect there princess, no matter the cost. Shining Armour, Shadowed Lightning, and the rest of the guards formed a V point in efforts to protect Luna. The princess of the moon smiled at her guards bravery, then looked up at the alien. "VISITOR, I'AM PRINCESS LUNA, WE DO NOT WISH YOU ANY HARM AND WILL GIVE YOU BUT ONE CHANCE TO SURRENDER PEACEFULLY!" she announced in her Royal Canterlot Voice. The alien still walked towards them, slowly but steadily. "IF YOU DO NOT STOP, I WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO ORDER MY GUARDS TO ARREST YOU!" she announced yet again, but nothing was said back to her, all the creature did was continue walking towards them. "Forget this!" one of the guards said "It can't understand us and its going to kill us, and I'm not dying today!" The black coated unicorn began charging at the now still alien, his horn pointed straight for the monsters abdomen. "NO!" Luna screamed, yet it fell on deaf ears. The unicorn guard yelled as he became closer and closer to his target, his eyes closed so he would not get any of its blood in his eyes. The alien merely tilted its head to the side and when the charging stallion came close enough, it delivered a roundhouse kick straight to the pony's head, knocking out some of his teeth and sending him straight to unconsciousness. Luna swallowed back some of her fear. She had never seen such feats of strength or reflex's before. Luna looked at the two unconscious guards. Seeing them bruised and beaten changed her fear to anger. " Very well then, you have given me no other option. GUARDS. ATTACK!" Luna ordered. The rest of the guard galloped towards the alien with swords and spears raised, leaving only Shining armour and Shadowed Lightning to protect Luna. As each guard attacked, they soon failed it any attempt to take down the creature, until none where left standing. The alien had just taken down twenty-six highly trained royal guard, with out using any effort. It then again started making it's way towards the princess. Shadowed Lightning looked at Shining "Protect her, I'll take care of this creep." Shadowed said. Shining shook his head and stood in front of the princess, spear sticking out towards the alien. Shadowed spread her bat wings and began to hover towards the alien, sword in hoof. The alien and the mare stopped when in unison when they where a few feet away from each other, neither of them making a move in the slightest. Then like a lightning bolt, Shadowed flew into the forest at supersonic speeds. The alien around itself for a few seconds, and then at the two pony's in front of him. As soon as he took a step, Shadowed Lightning burst thought the forest brush behind the alien, her sword ready to pierce through the abominations heart. Unfortunately, before she had time to react, the alien jumped and did a back flip, landing feet first on the mares back, slamming her into the ground. The alien stepped of of her and just watched as she tried to get up. It reached down and grabbed her neck armour, denting it as it squeezed. It then rose her to it's waist level, and plunged it's knee straight into he stomach, causing spit up a mixture of blood and vomit. The alien released her, letting her fall to her knees, then her front hooves. Shadowed looked up towards the monster that had just easily defeated her with disgust. "Fuck.....you" she weakly spat. The alien looked down at her with it's head tilted "FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU,FUCK YOU." It said in her voice before delivering the final knock out punch. Shining Armour had had enough "Princess I...." Luna shushed the captain " I understand Shining....... do what you must." she said sadly. The solar captain nodded. It hurt him to know that he had to kill the visitor, as Luna had told him stories of how she always wanted to meet other life and gain it's friendship. He started walking towards the extraterrestrial, with no weapon at all. The alien stood still, looking at it's new and hopefully last opponent. When Shining had reached the creature, all the two did was stare at each other. "I'm sorry princess." Shining whispered. The captain closed his eyes and began to preform one of his most powerful offence spell. With great effort, his horn released a red beam of energy straight at the alien, sending Shining Armour flying back slightly. The captain looked up from the ground to see the damage he had caused. There was nothing. nothing at all. He stood up and turned around to see the alien standing behind him, chuckling to itself. It lunged out and grabbed Shining's horn, causing the unicorn to grunt in pain. The creature brought it's free fist in the air and brought it straight down into his the pony's jaw, dislocating it. With a thud, the great Shining Armour fell like a sack of bricks. With a snarl, the alien made his way towards Luna, now with nothing to get in his way. "So, I guess this is where your going to kill me, yes?" Luna asked in a serious tone, getting no answer. "I may be used to ponies protecting me but I still know how to fight!" she threatened, flaring her wing. The beast stopped. Luna's hopes rose. It looked down at it's left wrist and began touching buttons. Luna was confused, was it contacting somepony. Was it arming something? After a few seconds of button touching, the alien started walking towards her again, now only a few feat away. "NOW LISTEN, I'M A PRINCESS, AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO!" Luna stopped as the creature grabbed her throat firmly. Never. Never had somepony been so bold as to even so much as touch her. She wanted to use her magic to fight back or get away but she couldn't! It was like this creature was negating her power. Now with no way to fight back or escape, all she could do was except her fate. "Just make it quick please." she asked, holding back tears. The alien moved he head side to side, as if it was inspecting something. What it did next, was something Luna was not expecting. It let her go. "Do you lead the smaller equines?" It asked. Luna was flabbergasted "....what?" she blurted out. The creature leaned over Luna menacingly "DO YOU OR DO YOU NOT lead the small equines!?" It demanded. "YES, yes I'm co ruler, along with my sister." she stated quickly It clicked for a few seconds before speaking " Then I will have words with you, follow me." The lunar princess got up and began walking behind the alien, questioning why she was even listening to it. " Why did you attack us? And if you speak our language then why didn't you stop or listen to us!" she desperately demanded. The alien kicked Leaf steps unconscious body to the side and began typing in a code on it's wrist. "If I recall correctly, YOUR soldiers were the ones who attacked me, I merely was walking towards you." It stated "Then what about private Leaf Step, why did you break his....." Luna began The alien turned around and pointed a finger at her " I will explain my reasons to you when we are inside the ship, until then, keep your mouth shut, don't touch anything, and always do as I say. UNDERSTAND!" the creature shouted. Luna wanted to call her authority but knew that would probably make the extraterrestrial even more angry then it already was. So all she did was nod. "Good" it said. They then entered the ship. Luna looked back out the now closing door. "I hope your having a better day then I'am sister." Luna said to herself as the mechanical door came to a full close. > Negotiations > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "We are getting tired of your excuses Celestia." said the Griffon ambassador. Celestia looked around her self. The negotiation room was dimly lit chamber, with sound proof walls to ensure that nopony would be distracted during the conversation. Celestia hated to admit that they where right, but they were. The two nations had always greatly disagreed with each other, but in the past couple of years, they had begun trading resources with each other in hopes they could finally get along. The Griffon's would trade the ponies oil from there oil rich homeland, in change for food and water, as there country was dry and sandy, making it nearly impossible to grow food. Unfortunately though, the princesses had not sent any supply's to the Griffon's for over two months now, as the there had been a terrible dry season this summer, leaving the supply crops without the necessary amount of water to grow. Celestia looked down at a glass of water in front of her. "Such a substance water is. It's the life force of every living being on this planet. It's purity is unmatched to any other in the entire univer....." she began. The rooms door slammed open, welcoming a new griffon to the room. The griffon kings son, Razorbeak. Celestia groaned at his arrival, for the young griffon prince had an attitude to match that of an Ursa Major. His feathers were a charcoal black colour with red tips. His eyes were a nice sky blue, only to be ruined by his always bloodshot eyes and dark bags. Out of all the flaws the prince had, there was one that Celestia feared the most about him, his utter hatred of ponies. She had heard rumors that Razorbeak had recently captured a group of pony assassins, brutally torturing them until they lost all sanity, only then choosing to end there lives, but that was only a rumor being spread by some griffon guards... hopefully. "SO! has the pretty. pony. princess given a reason for the lack of supply's yet ambassodor?" the griffon prince asked, rudely interrupting the solar princess. "No Prince Razorbeak, she is merely making excuses, again." the ambassador stated matter a factly. Princess Celestia was about to give her reasons to why the supply's had not been delivered yet, only to be yet again interrupted by Razorbeak. He was chuckling to himself while clapping his talons together, his eyes tightly closed and a smile plastered on his face. He opened his eyes and began to walk towards Celestia, still chuckling and clapping. "You know princess, that's funny, that's really Fucking funny. It's funny that we give you our Fucking oil, but you give us fucking EXCUSES! It's really funny how we give and give and give, and you take and take and fucking take." the prince said menacingly as he sat beside the princess, making her very uncomfortable. "Prince Razorbeak, I understand your anger but..." Celestia began. "Do you know what I find the funniest out of all of this though princess?" Razorbeak asked with an expression of disgust " What I find the funniest out of ALL of this, is the fact that my father, the fucking KING of my land, is giving you more time." The princess of the sun looked at the prince with a shocked expression "He..... more time." she said, hoping her tone of voice didn't reveal her relief. Razorbeak took the princesses water and drank it all in one gulp, then proceeded to burp in her face, sending a noxious smell of sulfur and rotting tuna in her nostrils. Celestia did her best not to vomit at the stench of the griffons breath, she merely scrunched her face and looked down at the table. The prince placed the cup gently on the table and nodded "YEAH, he says that 'our trading of oil for food is the best thing we can do for our kingdom'. To me though, it's just a bunch of bullshit. The fact that he's giving you two more months when your two months overdue on your shipment. So, while you get our oil to keep your machines running, while we starve to death but HEY, if that's what the king wants that's what he wants!" Razorbeak stood up and walked towards the door "Come ambassador, I'm done talking to this mare." he stated. The ambassador gathered some stray papers on the table and made his way over to the prince. "Celestia..." Razorbeak said as he looked stared at the princess, raisng two fingers as he did so "Two months..... or else." he said with the utmost serious tone of voice befor closing the door, leaving Celestia alone in the dark room. What Razorbeak had said befor he left had shook Celestia 'or else'. What did that mean? Celestia sighed as she felt a headache coming on. She stood up and trotted out of the room and headed to her royal chambers. When she reached her room, Celestia removed her crown and placed it on her bed with her magic. She then walked out to her balcony to look at the courtyard, unfortunately noticing Razorbeak and the rest of the griffons making there way towards a large air barge that had brought them to Canterlot. As all the griffons got on the barge, Celestia noticed one of them staring up at her, it was Razorbeak. This made the princess nervous, making her want to go back inside, but what the griffon prince did next was unexpected, he smiled. This smile however was not a friendly one. Razorbeak raised his right arm, extending two fingers, nodding while he did so. This sent a shiver down the princesses spine and she slowly began to walk back inside her chambers. She closed her balconies glass door, and then laid on her bed, and tried to get some sleep. "I hope your having more luck than I'am sister." she said as she began to drift to sleep. > Negotiations part 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guan-thwei lead the tall equine who had identified herself as 'Luna' through his ship. She seemed very curious about almost everything she saw on there way to the captains deck. Not a good sign. Luna wanted to ask the alien so many questions. Why it came here, what it wanted, where it came from and so much more. Out of all those questions that she had though, Luna feared to annoy or agitate him more than he already was, so she restrained her curiosity for the moment. "So.... this is quite a nice ship you have here." she said awkwardly. In all honesty though, Luna was just being nice. The ships interior was very creepy and unwelcoming. The section of the ship they were walking through was a dark hallway leading up to a large metal door. The hallway was made entirely of a metallic black metal. There was a few red lights on the walls, providing some visibility, not much though. Luna sensed something about this place, see sensed..... death. Her thoughts were interrupted when she bumped into the now still alien. "We're here." the alien informed her. He hit in a code on a keypad near the door, making the door separate, introducing a new room. As they walked into the room, Luna looked around. It was dark and cold, just like the rest of the ship. There was a large console of blinking lights in the front of the room, which she could only imagine was for a computer of some sorts. Luna had seen computers befor, in the griffon empire as they were the ones who invented it, though theirs seemed very out of date compared to this one. In the centre of the room was a large chair. It was made mostly of the same black metal she had seen throughout the ship, it had a red leather seat and more blinking lights on the arm rests. The alien sat down in the chair turned it around like a swivel chair, facing Luna. "Now listen to me very closely equine, I have questions and you are going to answer them for me, do you understand?" he asked. "Very well, I will answer your questions creature..... so long as you answer some of mine in exchange." Luna said with determination. The alien made a few clicking sounds and began pressing the flashing buttons on his armrests "That is.... acceptable, I shall ask first." he stated as he pressed one last button, making a large, red, virtual planet appear in front of them both " what is the name of your planet?" He asked. Luna was taken back by the hologram, never had she seen such advanced technology " Equestria..... our planets name is Equestria, same as the part of the planet you are on right now." she stuttered. The creature typed on the arm rest " Odd to name a planet after a place ON the planet, wouldn't you say?" he asked snobbishly "Now let me guess YOUR question, you want to know why I broke the small equines hoof, yes?" "Very much so, along with why you attacked the rest of my guard!" Luna said with slight anger. "Your guard were trying to brake into my ship, which in my culture is a threat." the alien informed her. "WE WERE TRYING TO HELP YOU, WE THOUGHT YOU WERE HURT!" Luna explained. As the hologram planet shrank until it disappeared, the alien stood up and walked towards the princess " Your concern for my life was unnecessary, but it is noted." Luna became nervous as the creature moved towards her, but calmed as it passed her and continued walking towards what appeared to be a chest. Two blades extended from the aliens right gauntlet, startling the lunar princess. The creature stabbed the blades into two slits on the top of the chest and twisted his arm. The chest opened and the alien removed two items. A metal cylinder with a light blue glow at the top and a medium sized case. Luna looked down at the ground " OK, so we touched some of your stuff, is that really an excuse for beating my guards to a pulp, is it an excuse to crush there hooves, to break there bones, to....." she stopped as the looked up to see the alien was no longer at the chest. "I could have killed them." his voice said behind her. Luna spun around to see the towering alien looking down at her. She was scared, very scared as the lumbering behemoth stared straight through her very soul. Luna involuntarily started to step back Crome the alien creature, only for him to step forward, still staring. "I could have slaughtered them all with out hesitation, without mercy." he informed her. Luna took a few more steps back, a look of horror plastered on her face. The alien followed Luna's motions. Every step back she took, he would take a step forward. Luna was taking short breaths, her heart was pounding in her chest as the creature followed her. She gasped as her rear end bumped into the side of the room. She looked up at her approacher " Then why didn't you?" she stuttered. The alien tilted his head and made more clicking noises " Because, if you have the recourses, I need your help in repairing my ship." he told her. He turned his back to her and made his way back to the large chair, making a large thud when he sat. The two beings stared at each other for a few moments "Is your species capable of space travel?" he asked. Luna wanted to tell him about her imprisonment on the moon, as that was technically space travel, but she knew that he was referring to his space ship. "No, we are not that technologically advanced yet." she told him. "Well, then it appears there was no point in sparing your lives." he said nonchalantly " BUT, seeing as I already have, I suppose we should make some negotiations for the time ill be staying here." The creature beckoned the lunar princess over to where he was sitting. Luna slowly made her way over to the waiting extraterrestrial, sitting on the cold floor when reaching him. "I only have one condition equine, you will listen to it with utmost attention and when I'm finished you may speak, understood?" He ordered. Luna was appalled at how he spoke to her. She had told him that she was co-ruler of all Equestria, but still he showed her disrespect, even more so than Discord had in her younger years. Luna no longer had any desire to get to know the alien, no desire to befriend him, see just wanted to get the 'negotiation' over with and leave the spooky ship. "Alright, speak them then." she said. "My existence on this planet must remain a secret. I will allow you, your fellow co-rulers, and military leaders to know of it, besides that, it is to be of the utmost classification." he said. Luna was confused " I understand me and my fellow co-rulers, but why military leaders?" "It will show me that you and your military can be trusted, and if you all can be, when I leave this planet and report it's existence to my homeworld, I will encourage my elders not to classify your species as prey." he said. Prey. Did he just say prey. Luna's heart skipped a few beats and wanted to ask what he meant by prey. Her train of thought was interrupted when she noticed the alien sticking the metal cylinder he had removed from the chest in her face. "What is this?" she asked as she used her magic to take it from his hand, slowly. "A gift. That is a gkei'moun, a memory eraser that you are going to use on your soldiers. All you have to do is twist the top, wait for the red lights to turn blue, aim it at them, and click the top down." he explained. The alien pressed some buttons on his left gauntlet and got up " The door which we came in is open, see yourself out." "Wait, surely most of my subjects saw the crash and will want to investigate!" she exclaimed. The creature looked away from the princess and clicked "Your there leader, tell them that it was a meteorite, but tell them that it has lethal doses of cosmic radiation, and if they are exposed, it will kill them instantly." he said. Luna had to admit it, that was actually a decent explanation to tell the public. It would explain what the crash was and why to stay away from the crash. The lunar princess nodded at the towering monster, bravely extending her hoof for a shake. The creature looked at it but made no movements. Luna took this as a rejection to her goodbye and lowered her hoof. "Well I guess this is goodbye Mr...." she started. In all the excitement, horror, fear and many other emotions, Luna didn't even get the visitors name. "Guan-thwei, N'dhi-ja equine princess." Guan said before he turned his back on her and made his way to the computer console. "What does that mean?" Luna asked. "Goodbye." he said flatly, not even turning from the keypad. His shortness hurt Luna, but she was relieved that she was able to leave now. Not saying another word to this 'Guan-thwei' and made her way back to the ships entrance. Guan-thwei walked away from the keyboard and sat down in his chair, releasing a large sigh of relief. Talking to lesser species always had exhausted him, he would much rather prefer hunting then negotiating. He looked down on the right side of the chair. It was the case that he had taken out of his personal chest. The predator picked up the case, laid it on his lap and opened it. Inside the case was his most prized weapon. His short-sword Dah'Nagara. This was the sword that he was rewarded when he had returned to the clan village with the head of an U'darahje, an unholy hybrid of serpent and yautja blood. He removed the sword and gently placed the case on the floor, then proceeding to strap the sword onto his left thigh. Guan became excited. This planet had new game to hunt, and new trophies to collect. Luna exited the ship in a hurry, the metal door slamming shut behind her. She looked around at her little ponies. They were begginging to regain concousnious. The lunar princess noticed Shadowed Lightning desperately try to get up. Luna rushed over to her side and helped her stand. "Princess, are.... You ok?" the lunar captain weakly asked. The princess let Shadowed lean on her for support " Shush... save your strength captain." Luna tried to pick out Shinning Armor from the crowd of bodies. Cadence was going to kill her for putting him in this situation. Luna noticed that Shadowed was looking towards the ship, snarling. Luna looked where her captain was, it was Guan-thwei standing at the now open entrance. "By the way equine, if any of your subjects gain the courage to investigate the crash site, and if they present me with harm, I will kill them." Guan informed her. Luna was about to protest until the door slammed shut again. Luna growled at just the thought of him killing a subject, but he did say if they only presented him harm, so it would be self defence. Still, she didn't like the idea of it. Suddenly, there was a tapping on her shoulder, making her jump slightly. It was Shining Armor. " Princess, we have to go. There's a storm coming in." he said in pain. He must have just relocated his jaw. Luna looked up to the sky. It was dark and glumly. She looked back at the solar captain a nodded. Her horn began to glow a deep blue, every guard became incased in the glow, until ultimately the princess and the guard teleported from the forest back to Canterlot Castles barracks. Luna's head was pounding. Teleporting that many beings really took a lot out of her. "Princess, I'm...... I'm sorry that we failed you." Shadowed Lightning said as her head sunk with sadness. Shining Armor looked down aswell, as he to was ashamed at their failure to protect her. Luna merely smiled and lifted there heads with her magic. "It could have been a lot worse my faithful guards. Now I want you to go to your personal rooms and get some rest, I have some business to discuss with the rest of the guard." she said as she looked at the 'gkei'moun' that Guan had given her. " Also, do not inform any pony of the creatures existence, it is of great classification." The two captains bowed and made their way to their rooms. Luna sighed and made her way towards the rest of the guard, to fulfill Guan-thwei's instruction, though, as Luna looked at the guard, it seemed like something was missing. Guan sat in silence on his chair, contemplating on his talk with the equine. She was kind to him through their entire conversation, a sign of weakness. He growled at how much time he had wasted talking to her. "You shouldn't have left the door open for so long." said an familiar voice behind the hunter. The predator slowly swivelled his chair to face the intruder. It was the guard know as Leaf Step. "Now, your going to pay for attacking me, my fellow guard, and my princess." Leaf said as he pulled out his sword. Guan merely watched him as he used his one good hoof to to lift his sword, and used his weak hoof to slowly limp towards him "You think you can come to our world, and beat us up for no reason. You think you can threaten our princess." The young guard was now in front of the yautja, blood still dripping from his crushed hoof " I'LL KILL YOU!" he yelled, sword raised. "Unlikely." Guan said menacingly to the young pony. With a yell, Leaf Step swung his sword down towards the predator. Guan extended his wristblades, and before Leaf even had a chance to react, the dual blades sliced clean through his neck, sending his head swirling in the air, his crimson blood splatering and squirting all over the room and Guan-thwei. Leafs headless body dropped to the floor and his sword flew across the room. Guan sat up and walked over the equines dead body, picking up his head. The warrior stared at the lifeless head, feeling nothing for taking his life. "Pathetic equine, you should have learned your lesson from your hoof." He told the head. Guan smiled though. At least he had his first trophy on this planet. The first trophy of many. He released a deafening victory roar, raising the head in the air, lightning and thunder booming outside of the ship. Guan-thwei had a feeling that he was going to enjoy his time on this planet. > Hunters Moon > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- One month later.... Rarity and her younger sister Sweetie Bell, were walking down a trail in the Everfree Forest, leading to a campsite where all her friends were. This had become sort of a tradition for the main six now. Every summer they would have one camp day, full of fishing, campfires, ghost stories and fun. Rarity stopped as she heard some groaning from her sister " Sweetie darling, we have to move faster if we are to meet our friends on time." Rarity said. Sweetie Bell was tired, very tired. The pair had been hiking up the trail for a good two hours now and the young fillies legs were beginning to give out. She looked up at Rarity, sweat dripping of her brow. "Why does this campsite have to be so far away!" Sweetie complained. "Don't worry, we're almost there, just around this bend." Rarity said, pointing a hoof to said bend on the trail. The two continued walking, looking around themselves as they did. The forest was calm and quiet. Rarity loved the beauty of the forest. She loved the scent of the trees and the fresh air filling her lungs. The white unicorn closed her eyes and took a deep breath, then exhaled. The calm demeanour was interrupted when Sweetie Bell started to pull on Raritys tail. " Yes darling, what's the matter?" Rarity asked as she turned around to face her younger sister. Sweetie Bell had a look of fear plastered on her face " Theirs something in those trees....." she said as she pointed a hoof behind her. Rarity looked up at the trees to see nothing and gave out a small giggle " It's probably just a squirrel or something, just ignore it." Rarity began walking again until she heard a large rustle come from behind her. She spun around to see Sweetie still staring up at the trees. Rarity heard the rustling again and looked up to the trees. The rustling was coming from the trees her sister was looking at. " Sweetie come to me now." Rarity ordered, to which her sister obliged, quickly trotting over to her sisters side. Both the sisters stared up at the trees. What ever was making the rustling was far to big to be a squirrel. Their fear was beginning to grow, sweat dripping down their body's at the thought of what horrible creature was watching them. Like a lightning bolt, the creature burst out of one of the trees and hurdled towards the two ponies. Rarity and Sweetie Bell embraced themselves and closed their eyes while releasing a blood curdling scream. The two waited for the creature to strike, but no strike came, only..... laughter? Rarity was the first one to open her eyes, only to look upon the laughing cyan Pegasus, Rainbow Dash. " RAINBOW DASH, THAT WASN'T FUNNY!" Rarity yelled at her friend and fellow Element of Harmony. The Element of Loyalty took a moment to collect herself before speaking " Wasn't .... funny!" she said, trying her best to hold back her laughter " I think you'd say otherwise if you saw your face, HAHAHA!" Rarity let out a hmph and stuck her nose in the air and began to trot off towards the bend. Rainbow got the laughs out of her system and looked down at Sweetie Bell, who had a big grin on her face. " I thought it was funny." the filly said. The two laughed as they galloped towards Rarity, the trio now making their way towards the campsite. Far away, a lone changeling runs for its life through the forest. It looks around itself, trying to see the creature that is chasing it. Not paying any attention to anything else, the changeling strips and falls in a ditch, breaking its hoof. It held back a yelp, fearing to attract whatever was chasing it. The changeling looked around itself. The ditch it fell in was wet and muddy, it stunk like something out of Tartarus and it was Riddled with bones. Bones? The changelings heart stops When it feels heavy breathing on the back of its neck. It slowly turns around to face its chaser. A Manticore. With one massive chomp, the Manticore bites the changeling, shaking his body like a rag doll until it was dead. The large cat dropped the changelings corpse on the ground and released a large and loud bellow. Within a few seconds three more Manticores emerged from the forest brush and joined in on the meal. The four predators ripped the carcass into shreds, eating everything on the changeling. When their meal was done, the large animals moved to a small flat area a few feet away from the ditch and began to groom themselves. The alpha male and female fell asleep as the two smaller Manticores played with each other. They chased each other around the flat area when the smallest one noticed something on the ground. Three red dots. The cat was intrigued about the lights but was still unsure to go near it. The red dots began to move towards the Manticore, slowly but steadily. Gaining some courage, it walked towards the lights. The cub stretched its paw out and patted the dots. It then smelt something burning. It smelled the air, trying to find the source of the smell, not paying attention to the the red dots which were now on its forehead. Out of no where, a red ball hurdled towards the manticore, causing its head to explode upon impact. The two alphas awoke from their slumber and rushed towards their fallen member. The three remaining Manticores came together and ran into the brush, straight towards the main sixes camp....... Two hours later.... Twilight shuffled uncomfortably in her sleeping bag as the rest of the ponies slept peacefully around her. She looked around herself. They were sleeping in a small cave that they had found earlier. It was damp and cold, drops moisture dripped on the stone floor. The purple unicorn released a sigh and closed her eyes. "Hey Twi, are y'all still awake" asked the voice of Applejack. Twilight open her eyes and looked at the cowpony " You can't sleep ether?" Applejack groaned as she sat on her haunches " It's to dang hot this summer, I'm sweatin like a pig in this sleeping bag" Twilight giggled at her friend but had to agree with her, this summer may have been the hottest summer she had ever experienced. " I'll have to talk to the princess, she controls the sun after all" Twi said to Applejack. Applejack shuffled uncomfortably " Do ya think it has something to do with that giant rock falling out of the sky." she asked with concern. Twilight smiled " What, the meteor? not a chance. It would have to have been a really big meteor to cause weather change." she assured. With a smile and a nod the two mares got cozy in their sleeping bags and slowly fell asleep. About two hours had passed since Twilight had fallen asleep, her body drenched in sweat. She began to awake from a cold breeze at the back of her neck. " mmmmm.... Applejack, your breathing on my neck." Twilight complained with a yawn. She opened her eyes to see she was actually facing Applejack, her face plastered with pure terror. Applejack mouthed out a word to Twi. 'Manticore'. It took Twilight a moment to realize the severity of the situation. Manticores only lived in the deep parts of the Everfree, only coming out if food was scarce. The animal looked down on Twilight, drool dripping from its mouth. Twilight did her best not to move or make any sound as the beast sniffed over her form. Applejack watched silently as the Manticore inspected her friend, until she felt a small being shuffle next to her. "Applejack, can we go to the stream and get some water?" asked her younger sister AppleBloom, unaware of the danger that was only a few feet away. The Manticore raised its head and stared straight at the filly "RRRRRROAAAARRR!!!!" Everypony awoke from the roar and screamed at the sight of the animal as they backed away from it until their rear ends touched the end of the small cave. Twilight quickly bounced out of her sleeping bag and stood between her friends and the Manticore, her horn beginning to glow with a purple hue. The predator arched it's back and pounced at its prey, only to be stopped by a magical force field conjured by the purple unicorn. The beast growled and began to slam its body into the barrier, making it harder for the mare to keep the shield up. Her friends watched in awe as she held the monster back. "Where the hell did this thing come from?!" yelled Rainbow Dash. " I don't know Rainbow, but I do know that Twi ain't gonna last much longer if that keeps it up!" said Applejack, noticing her friend struggling against the Manticores power. Rarity held AppleBloom, Sweetie Bell, and Scootalo, their faces buried in her chest and their hoofs over their ears. Pinkie Pie comforted Fluttershy, who was crying hysterically. "Fluttershy, you need to use that weird stare power on that thing!" Pinkie Pie told the yellow Pegasus. Fluttershy looked up to face the Manticore. It was ballistic. Foam dripped from its mouth, it's eyes glowing an evil yellow in the darkness. It was the scariest thing she had ever seen. The Pegasus clenched her eyes shut and shook her head side to side. "I Can't" she whispered sadly. Twilight was losing energy. Her head pounded from the amount of magical energy she was using to hold the creature back. The Manticore noticed this and made one final attack. With all of its force, it slammed its body into the shield, shattering it like glass. Twilight flew backwards from the impact and collided with Applejack, blood dripping from her nose. Applejack held her friend who was bearly conscious. The Manticore moved slowly towards its latest meal. "FUCK THIS!" Rainbow Dash screamed. The cyan Pegasus bucked the much larger creature, her hind hooves sinking deep into its right cheek. The kick did not effect the cat, only infuriated it further. Rainbow gulped "Bad idea." The Manticore raised its paw, it's claws extended. Rainbow closed her eyes as she knew she could do nothing to stop the strike. Out of nowhere a large crunching noise was heard from outside. The Manticore squealed in pain as it looked at its tail which was still outside of the cave. It was at the top of the cave mouth, the stinger out of the view of the mane six. Suddenly something began pulling the tail, dragging the Manticore out of the cave. The beast latched onto the sides of cave with its claws but proved useless as it was still being pulled upwards by its unknown attacker. The ponies covered their ears as the animals claws dug into the walls, leaving marks as it was being pulled. When it was fully out of the cave, the Manticore was pulled out of view from the girls. They heard whimpering and snarls as the animal fought of whatever had pulled it out and after a few seconds their was silence. Dead silence. The ponies stood still for a few moments, to afraid to move until Rainbow Dash slowly started to move to the caves mouth. "Dash! what are you doing!?" Scootalo yelled softly. The cyan pegasus didn't even look at the young filly. She reached the mouth of the cave and poked her head out and looked up. THUMP!!!! Rainbow bounced back inside of the cave as a large mass landed in front of her. It was the Manticore. It's fur had gone from a pitch black to a crimson red, lacerations coving its form. Blood oozed from its neck were it had been slit deeply. From the back of the cave Fluttershy had passed out from the sight of the mutilated animal, Rarity told the fillies not to look as she tried not to vomit. "What's that?" Twilight asked groggily. Rainbow looked forward but only saw the corpse. "Don't worry Twi, it's dead, now let's get out of here before whatever killed it comes after us" Dash said as she walked outside of the cave and spread her wings "Get the pipsqueaks on me and I'll get them out of...." The mare was lifted by her neck of the ground by a translucent form. Rainbow gagged and gasped for air but the creatures grip was to tight. Applejack clenched her teeth and charged towards the being, slamming her shoulder into it. The cowpony fell flat on her side as if she had ran into a brick wall. The being made some clicking noises and snarls at the ponies before revealing itself to them. It's translucent body began to disappear revealing skin and armour. It had light blue skin and bronze armour cover most of its body. Its face was hidden by a bronze mask with two red eye lenses. Rainbow Dash stared into the beings eyes and it stared right back. It threw her backwards into Applejack with little to no effort. The being pulled a sliver cylinder from a pouch on its side and pointed it at the ponies. It had blue lights near the top of it until the being twisted the top, turning the lights into a crimson red. The ponies huddled all together as the being raised its thumb above the cylinder. Guan looked down on the equines, his gkei'moun ready to erase their memory's. What pathetic creatures these beings were. So small and frail. They huddled together, cowering at his might. Just as he was about to press the top when a large rustling was heard behind him. He turned his head and looked from the corner of his eyes. Emerging from the brush of the forest was the two other cats that had ran off. They growled at the yautja warrior who had just slain their fellow Manticore. Guan could feel the equines fear growing. Cowards. The predator lowered the device and returned it to its pouch. "Don't move." he sternly commanded. The hunter turned his back to the cowering, walking towards his prey with no fear. The cats separated and walked circles around Guan, snarling and grunting at the yautja. Guan extended his wristblades, causing the Manticores to jolt slightly. He waited for one of them to strike. Like a lightning strike one of the Manticores pounced on the predator. Guan countered by grasping the powerful animal by the throat. The cat clawed at Guan, it's sharp claws slicing into his chest. Guan slashed his blades at the beasts arm, cutting deep into its flesh. The Manticore howled and jumped of of him. It raised its tail at Guan, the stinger dripping with venom. It shot its tail out at Guan like a spear, jabbing at the warrior. Guan dodged the stinger, grabbing it at the perfect moment and severing it with his wristblades. Yellow liquid spurted from its tail as it roared from the pain. As the creature bellowed, Guan took this opportunity for an offensive. He ran to the side of the distracted animal and leaped on its back. The Manticore tried to shake Guan of but the yautja was to strong. He began stabbing into its body, the Manticores blood splattering on the green grass. Guan grabbed the preys wings and severed them to insure that it could not fly away. After a few seconds of stabbing the Manticore collapsed from exhaustion and blood loss. Guan stood up above the Manticore and the Manticore weakly looked up at him. The creature accepted its fate and laid back for the finishing attack. The predators wristblades shot back into their gauntlet. Guan reached down and grabbed his foes head and with one swift motion, he snapped its powerful neck with no effort. With the one Manticore defeated, Guan turned his attention to the remaining one. He looked around but saw nothing. He looked at the ground and noticed heat signatures of paws leading back into the brush. Looks like there was still more to this hunt, but first he needed to return to some unfinished business. He marched back towards the cave mouth were the equines were still cowering. "Please leave us alone." a horned one pleaded, three young foals holding on to her. Guan said nothing as he yet again aimed his gkei'moun at them. As his thumb touched the top of the device, the Manticore burst from the brush and lunged on top of Guan. The impact caused his gkei'moun to fly into the air and land somewhere in the brush of the forest. The ponies screamed as the Manticore gnawed on the predators shoulder Armour. Guan stood with the animal clinging on his back. He jumped and landed on his back, crushing the beast. Though it hurt, the Manticore didn't let go and continued its assault. Guan stood up again and began elbowing the beast, not noticing the incoming danger. As he continued pounding into the Manticores side, Guan was stopped by a large pain in his right leg. He looked down to see the animals stinger in his leg. Enraged by the sight, the warrior used all of his strength and managed to grab it and throw it off of his back. When the Manticore slammed into the ground it didn't even get to look up before the yautja stomped its head in the ground. Guan reached down and unsheathed his sword, raised it up and with on mighty strike, decapitated his prey. He was victorious. Guan sucked in some air and was about to release a roar of victory until he felt something wrong. His entire body felt like it was going cold. Ice cold. He began to shake violently, dropping to his knees. His heart beat slower and slower with every passing second. His vision became blurry and he felt he was soon going to lose consciousness. He fell on his side and noticed one of the equines approaching him. Guan could do nothing but look at the horse. He heard her say only one thing before he lost consciousness. "What the hell are you?" > It Begins > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guan stood on the balcony of his tree hut, high above the forest ground. He looked to the stars, his planets two bright moons dangling in sky, contemplating to himself. " Having trouble sleeping my love?" came a feminine voice behind him. Guan cringed at the word 'love' and turned to face the voice. Standing through the doorway was a female yautja. She wore a robe covering her body for the night chill. She was rather small for a female yautja, though Guan didn't mind. Her name was Ke'Rava and she was Guan's mate. Guan turned back and continued his star gazing. Ke'Rava walked up behind him and embraced him, her firm breasts pressing against his muscular back. " What troubles you my hunter?" she asked with concern. Guan sighed " I'm troubled by what you asked me at the youngblood trails today." Ke'Rava gave a puzzled look to Guan, stepping back from him and crossing her arms. " What of it?" she asked in an annoyed tone. Guan turned and faced Ke'Rava " You asked me to be life mates with you, like the Elder..." She nodded. " ... Im not yet sure if I can." he said flatly Ke'Rava looked a little surprised at her mates response. Guan walked passed her and went back into the hut. She then turned around and walked inside the hut, her surprise now turned to slight anger. " And why is this? " she spat with her mandibles flared. Guan was putting on his Champion armour " I'm still young Ke'Rava, I feel im not yet ready for such a large responsibility, among all the rest. However I do care enough for you that I want no other male to claim you." he said while putting on the last parts of his armour. " So you wont be with me for life, but you refuse me mate with any other?!" an offended Ke'Rava said. " Its complicated Ke'Rava." Guan stated, reaching for his bio helmet. " NO ITS NOT!" Ke'Rava roared " Your just making it complicated you fool. Just give me an answer, do you want to be with me or not!" Guan put on his bio helmet and walked up to the angry female and placed his hands on her shoulders " I don't know yet Ke'Rava, but I will soon." He let go of her shoulders and walked outside of the hut. " How?" she asked. Guan chuckled to himself " Im going on a hunt." The launching station echoed with sounds of ship engines roaring. Guan sat on crate and sharpened his Wristblades. Two youngbloods were inside his ship, packing food and medicine. This was quite a nice luxury as most hunters had to pack there own supplies but since Guan was such a ranking yautja, menial tasks like that were up to others. This also gave hime more time to think about the predicament he was in. Why is she not happy with what we are now. She knows I have duties to the clan. Guan puzzled this in his head for what seemed to be an eternity, only being brought out of the trance by one of the youngbloods. " Everything is ready for your departure my lord. " the youngblood said, his eyes not meeting with Guan's, a good sign of respect. " Good, then you are both free to leave. " Guan told them. With that the youngbloods left, probably returning to their training. Guan lifted himself from crate and walked towards his awaiting ship. He stopped when he felt something, as if he was being watched. Snarls came from the open entry door to the launching station. Guan stood like a statue, unfazed by the frightening noise. a large hound emerged form the massive doorway. Guan groaned when he noticed that this particular hound was his. To make matters worse, his hound was not alone. Ke'Rava stepped out behind the large beast, in full set of armour. http://www.deviantart.com/art/On-The-Hunt-311612418 Guan cocked his head to the side " Ke'Rava, what are you doing?" he asked sternly. Ke'Rava and the hound made their way down steps from the door " I was thinking that we could hunt together. we could discuss this predicament further. " she said, stopping in front of Guan. Guan contemplated the idea for a few seconds. Ke'Rava stared inventively at her mate and their hound had now fallen asleep. Guan put a hand on her shoulder. " No my mate, this is something I must solve myself." Guan said, taking his hand of her shoulder and turning to enter his ships. " We need to figure this out together my love, only then...." Ke'Rava began. " No Ke'Rava." he said with slight annoyance. Ke'Rava growled " Please, we must do this together." " NO." " Why must you be like this GUAN!" " I SAID NO!!!!" Guan roared, the room echoing from his booming voice. Ke'Rava was taken back but still did not flinch like most did when Guan was angered. The hound was awoken by the thundering nose. Ke'Rava sneered at her mates outburst but knew that arguing with him would only make things worse. " Very well, hunter. I wish you luck on your journey." she spat. Guan groaned " I will return soon Ke'Rava." He walked into his ships cockpit and was about to seal it. Ke'Rava moved to the opening of the ship. Guan faced her before sealing the opening. " Guan..." she said pure sincerity in her voice " If you do not have a decision for me by next mating season.... I will mate with others besides you." Guan was actually surprised by what she said and before he could respond, she turned her back on him and left with the hound. Guan stood silent for a few moments. He grunted and slammed a button closing the opening. The Champion made his way to the cockpit and blasted of to the stars. Two days later. Forty-eight hours of nonstop hunting and yet he still had no answer. Guan wanted Ke'Rava only for himself but couldn't imagine being life mates, it was two odd a thing. Only a hand full of clan members had life mates, and most were retired warriors who had either had hunted enough or had just grown to old. Guan was still young and as Champion of the clan, he had to devote to much time to the clan to have a life mate. For some reason though he didn't want to let her go. It was an emotion that Guan had never felt before. Guan looked down to his lap were there was a new trophy he had collected. It was the skull of a Turian he had hunted down on its home planet Palaven. He stroked the skull and looked into the vastness of space. He was in an uncharted part of universe, searching for new planets to hunt on but he had not yet found one. He stood from his captains chair and moved towards his trophy rack. He stuck the skull on one of the free pikes sticking from the wall. " Computer." Guan called out. " YES MY LORD." the mechanical voice said. " I need to rest, awake me if you find a planet with possible game." he ordered. " VERY WELL MY LORD, REST WELL." Guan entered his sleeping chambers and laid on his hard bed. He stared at the top of the room and slowly drifted to sleep. " WARNING, WARNING ENGINE FAILURE. PLANETARY IMPACT IN ONE MINUTE." the computer voice warned. Guan awoke with a fright, lunging out of his bedroom and back into the cockpit. The yautja sat in his seat and with a command on his wrist computer, sealed everything in the cockpit. " Computer, I told you to tell me when we approached a planet, and why are crashing?" Guan asked. " MY LORD, I WAS ABOUT TO INFORM YOU BUT AS SOON AS WE NEARED THE PLANET, OUR ENGINES STOPPED MALFUCTIONED." the voice said " PLANETARY IMPACT IN THIRTY SECONDS." Guan pressed a combination of buttons on the seats arm rests and with that a metal case encased Guan. " This is not going to be pleasant. " Guan growled. " IMPACT IN 5,4,3,2....." " GRRRRRRRRRROAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR." Guan roared. The hunter awoke from a soft floor. He was hyperventilating, his heart pounding from his dream. When he collected himself he observed his surroundings. He was in a small wooden room with a few bookshelves in it. He looked down at his body. He had a large bandage on his right thigh and an IV in his right arm. He plucked the IV out of his arm and threw it across the room. Guan tried to stand but was greeted with an excruciating pain in his leg. He released a grunt and fell on his rear end. He couldn't even stand. Guan searched though a pouch on his belt and pulled out a two piece cylinder. He separated it and revealed purple crystals protruding from each flat end. Guan gritted his teeth. The predator slammed the crystals into his leg and released a howl of pain. The crystals dissolved and began to numb the pain and completely healed any remaining wounds. Guan panted and then sighed with relief. He stood with no pain and removed the bandages. Guan heard some rustling outside of the room. " Princess, should we check on the alien?" came a feminine voice. Guan cloaked himself and hid behind the door. " Yes, I think he should be awake by now, it has been two weeks." came a voice that he assumed was a different princess than the one he had met before. Two weeks! The door slowly opened and Guan moved with it. The two equines walked into the room. Guan switched his vision to the planets spectrum. This princess was taller that the one he had met before and was alabaster in colour. The smaller one was one of the equines in the cave. It had a horn and was purple. " What, where is he?!" the small one yelled. Guan uncloaked and slammed the door closed. The two ponies twirled around to face him. Guan just stared at them silently. The princess spoke calmly " Hello Mr. Guan-thwei, my name Is Princess Celestia. I believe you have already met my sister, Luna." Guan still said nothing. " This is my student Twilight Sparkle." she turned her head to face the small equine " She is the one who brought you here and saved...." Before she could react, Guan backhanded Celestia across the face, sending her into the bookshelves. Twilight gasped and rushed towards her teacher. Guan extended his hand and grasped Twilight by the hair. He lifted her to his face. " Why did you save me, who have you told of my existence!" Guan yelled. " I..I didn't tell anyone, th..e..y just saw you and news spread!" she stuttered Guan's anger bubbled over " HOW MANY OF YOU KNOW!" he roared. " Please don't hurt me!" Twilight sobbed. Guan extended his wrist blades making Twilight hyperventilate with fear. He raised his arm in striking position. " How. Many. " he said menacingly. Twilight was to afraid to say anything, just started crying. Guan groaned at the coward and released her. " I spare you only, ONLY because you saved my life." he said with malice. Before the two beings could continue, Guan was enveloped in a golden hue and was pinned against the wall by an unknown force. Guan pushed against the force but could not break free. He then noticed what was pinning him. It was the princess. " How dare you strike me, a princess of Equestria!" Celestia yelled. Guan pushed himself of the wall slightly, but was just push right back. " You dare threaten an Element of Harmony, YOUR SAVIOR NO LESS!" she exclaimed. Guan roared at the princess but It did not faze her. " You are either very brave or very stupid." she said " Now I'm going to release you, but only if you are calm. Nod if you understand me." Guan didn't want to but he saw no way out of this situation. He calmed down and slowly nodded his head. The golden hue disappeared and he was free from the wall. " Yes, you have been revealed, but this is not a problem, we can..." Celestia began. " You fool, my existence has now been revealed. ALONG WITH MY TECHNOLOGY." Guan growled " Do you really think that no being at all would not want to steal such power?" " And that is why we have over one hundred guards protecting you spaceship." Celestia smiled " Nothing can get in, Nothing can get out." Guan furrowed his brow " And your sure of that? " " Yes." she said with complete confidence. " Then I suppose this is acceptable " he said darkly. " Now I believe you have something to say to Twilight?" the solar princess asked. Guan looked down at the horned equine who was cowering behind her mentor. He looked back at Celestia. " If you expect me to apologize for my actions, then you will be disappointed." Guan stated " But for saving my life, you have my gratitude." Celestia frowned " Very well, then your free to return to your ship when you wish. " Guan said nothing as he left. He opened the door and ducked underneath it. When he was outside, he cloaked himself and made his way back to the forest. Twilight looked up at her mentor " Princess, why did you let him go, HE HIT YOU " Celestia looked down and smiled at her student " Because, I sense something about him, as if he has a higher purpose or potential." " Twilight, I want you and the Elements to teach our visitor about friendship." Twilight's jaw almost hit the floor " YOU WANT US TO TEACH THAT THING FRIENDSHIP! WE WOULD PROBABLY HAVE AN EASIER TIME REFORMING DISCORD!" " I know that it may be hard Twilight but you must try. I would like Pinkie Pie to teach him laughter first, he seems he could use a good laugh." Celestia told her student. " Ok, princess. I'll try." Twilight gulped. " Thank you my faithful student, now if you will excuse me I have a meeting with the griffin king. good luck Twilight." Celestia said, giving Twilight a hug before teleporting back to Canterlot Castle. Twilight sat by herself in the messy room " Well this is going to be interesting" Celestia sat alone in her bedroom. She closed her blinds an turned the lights off. With her magic she made screen appear with a golden glow outline. On the screen though did not appear the kind king though, but it was his son.... Razorbeak. " Hello princess. Pleasure seeing you again." the griffon prince said with sadness in his voice. His voice sent shivers down Celestia's spine " Prince Razorbeak, where is the king, I thought we were talking about the food trade?" " Yes we have received the recourses and as my father promised, we are preparing your oil. As of the king, well.... your looking at him." he said sadly Celestia gasped. " He died in his sleep. It was very peaceful" " I'm... I'm so sorry for your loss." Celestia said sincerely " It's fine, thank you for your kind words... but if you don't mind, perhaps we could discuss our trade at another time.. I must morn for my father." he said, close to tears. Celestia nodded her head " Of course I wont keep you." Celestia closed the screen and sat in silence. something felt.... wrong. Razorbeak sat on the throne and sunk his head. He began to laugh softly as he stood from the throne. He walked down the golden steps. looking down he saw blood splattered on the bottom steps. He stopped when he reached the base of the stairs. There laid a headless corpse. Razorbeak's laughing intensified to a manically cackle as he raised his right claw. In it was a bloody scimitar. He raised his left claw. in it was his fathers head. He was still laugh as he walked out of the throne room, his cackle echoing though the room. " HHAHAHAHA. LET IT BEGIN! HAHAHA." > Laughter > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guan sat silently near a campfire he had setup near his ship. The fire crackled in the cool night air. Guan looked around himself. Multiple guards stood around the borders of his crash site. He looked up. Winged equine guards watched over the brush of the forest for any signs of incoming danger. Though Guan really didn't need the 'protection' of lesser beings, it did make him feel more secure about his ships safety. He heard a guards voice. he was talking to a female equine. " You are free to enter." said the guard. Guan groaned. It was more than likely one of the princesses coming to annoy him. He looked to his side expecting to see an ' Alicorn', but was surprised to see a small bouncing ' Earth pony' hopping her way towards him. This made Guan confused, as the guards had told him no one that was not given a pass by the princesses were aloud to enter. This pony seemed a little odd to be given a pass into his crash site. She stopped when she was but a foot away from Guan, a huge smile plastered on her face. This greatly unnerved him. " Hi, my names Pinkie Pie!" she squealed. Guan inspected the tiny horse. She indeed was very pink though he didn't understand where the pie came from. She still that stupid smile plastered on her face. Never before had Guan seen such a unsettling smile. " Hey, why are you looking at me like that? OH, do you wanna have a staring competition!? 3 2 1 GO!" she challenged with pure happiness in her voice. Pinkie lunged her face into Guan's, her eyes bulging from there sockets. This did not make him flinch in the slightest, he merely looked at here though the visors of his helmet. Her eyes began to water and were turning red. Guan wanted to see how long it would take for her to figure that what she was looking at was not his real face. Eventually she gave up, rubbing the pain from her eyes. " Wow, your good Mr. Alien! Nopony has ever beat me in a stare off, Well mabey except Fluttershy. She has this awesome, super cool stare thing that could stop a Ursa Major in its tracks and......" She said before she was cut off by two powerful fingers pinching her lips closed. " Why are you here?" Guan asked, annoyed by this, well..... annoyance. Guan released her lips, allowing her to speak. " O, silly me. Twilight sent me. She wants me to teach you a lesson in friendship!" Pinkie said. Guan stared at her for a few seconds, his patience lessening by listening to this ponies voice. He then looked back to the fire in front of him. " Go away." Guan said. He was in no mood for this creatures stupidity. " Yah Twilight told me you were a pretty grumpy guy, but I'm sure I can get a laugh from you." she challenged. Guan just looked at the fire quietly. He grabbed a nearby stick and poked the fire, causing some smoke to go in Pinkie's face. The little pony coughed but still had a smile on her face. " Do you want to hear a joke?" she asked. " No, go away." Guan said again. He stood up and walked away from the fire, heading towards the brush of the forest. Pinkie followed him into the brush. " Are you sure? Its really good." Pinkie reoffered. Guan groaned. He would kill this equine if he were not bound to his honour code. He stopped walking, causing pinkie to bump into his back. He turned and looked down at the pink equine. " If I listen to your joke, you will leave me alone?" he asked impatiently. " Um, I guess. As long as you give me a big old laugh then ill be on my way back to Ponyville." she stated. " Everypony needs a good laugh!" Guan growled " Then tell me your joke and be gone." Pinkie cleared her throat " What do you call a..... ummm.... huh." Guan raised an eyebrow under his helmet. " Ummmmmmm...." she continued. Guan's left eye began to twitch at this equines ability to annoy him. " Wow, this has NEVER happens to me. I CANT REMEBER MY JOKE!" she yelled worryingly. The yautja placed his palm over the face of the helmet. He just turned back around and continued walking into the brush until he was no longer in Pinkies view. " Ok, WELL I GUESS ILL FIND YOU WHEN I REMEBER. YOU STILL OWE ME A LAUGH MISTER!" Pinkie yelled out into the blackness of the forest. One hour later.. Guan had been hunting a deer for quite sometime now. He could have killed it at any moment, but that would no fun. He loved to play with his kill before he struck. It also gave him some time to forget about that nuisance of a pony 'Pinkie Pie'. Being that annoying should be a crime on this planet. Guan looked down to see the deer had laid down to take a rest. The predator had not eaten in quite some time, and this deer would make an excellent meal. He waited for it to fall asleep. When it did, Guan leaped from the tree branch he was perched on to the grassy meadow where his prey slumbered. Though Guan weighed over four-hundred pounds, he landed as light as a feather. He moved silently towards the deer, growling like a primal animal. Guan was now standing over his prey. He extended his wristblades and prepared his strike. " I REMEMBER THE JOKE!!!" screeched Pinkie Pie as she randomly burst though the forest brush. This outburst startled Guan, causing his attention on the deer to change to the Pony. The deer bounced up from its slumber and ran as fast as it could into the thick forest. Before Guan could even think to grab his prey, it was gone. He stared at the darkness of the forest for a few moments. Pinkie hopped beside him. " Awww, I must have scared that poor deer to death. SORRY!" she screamed into the blackness. Guan slowly looked down upon Pinkie. If there was one thing in the entire universe he hated, it was when a hunt was interrupted. He...Really hated it. Guan let out a primal growl and angrily turned around, stomping his way back to his camp. Pinkie Pie cocked her head sideways in confusion. Had she done something to anger him? Pinkie bounced after the alien, dodging stray flying twigs caused by the goliaths path of destruction. " Um, are you mad?" Pinkie Pie ask with concern " I didn't mean to make you mad. I was just so happy that I finally remembered my joke that I HAD to find you!" Guan said nothing as he continued his march though the brush. He wanted that deer, and she ruined the chance of him claiming it. This infuriated Guan. Just hearing the pink equines voice was close to setting him off. Guan calmed as the reached his camp. Pinkie Pie was still trying to speak to him, but he had all but drowned out her voice. The yautja stomped out what was left of the small fire that he lit earlier. When it was extinguished, he made his way towards his ships metal door. Just as he was about to enter and leave the pony to talk to no one but herself, she said something that pushed Guan's last button. " Well do you still want to hear my joke?" Guan turned slowly to face Pinkie Pie. His fists were clenched and his teeth grinding together ( though Pinkie could not see this). " Yes. There is nothing more I want to hear right now in this entire galaxy. Come now, tell me your joke." he said. Pinkie smiled " OH GOODY!" She cleared her throat " What do you call a bear with no teeth?" Guan's left eye twitched " I don't know equine. What do you call such a bear?" " A GUMMY BEAR!" Pinkie screamed before bursting into a fit of laughter. The predator merely watched and waited for her laughter to die. When it did Pinkie wiped a single tear from her eye and looked up at Guan. She still had her trademark smile plastered on her face, waiting for some sort of reaction from the alien. But none came. Guan crouched down to meet her eye to eye. " You like jokes pony?" he asked. Pinkie nodded innocently. " Ok, then I have quite the joke for you." Guan said menacingly " What is both pink and red?" Pinkie scratched her chin. She had never head a joke like this before. " Hmmm, I don't know Mr. Alien, what do you call something like that?" Guan leaned in, looming over Pinkie Pie. " Its your blood soaked corpse." Pinkies ears dropped. Her once happy face was now one of pure shock and terror. She slowly backed away from Guan but the predator stood up and moved with her. " Its your blood soaked corpse, after I have beaten you to the point of no recognition. I would not yet kill you though, NO that would be far to easy. I would rip out your tongue so that you would no longer plague my hearing. I would tear your lips off so you could never again have that disgusting smile upon your face. Then, and only then, after your last pitiful hope was extinguished, would I end your life. That is my joke equine." Guan finished. Pinkie Pies bottom lip began to quiver. Never in her life had she met someone so cruel. " That's not funny..." she sobbed " That's not funny at all..." Pinkie turned from the hunter and bolted towards the forest, tears steaming across her face. She pushed though the concerned guards and before any guard could stop her, she was gone in the forests blackness. The guards angrily glared at Guan. The predator merely chuckled to himself before turning back to face his ship. " You have some nerve" said a familiar voice behind him. Guan turned to face the voice. It was the female bat-like guard that had attacked him on his first day on the planet. She stepped had into Gaun's camp, leaving the other guard amazed by her bravery ( or stupidity). " All that mare wanted to do was to make you laugh, and you go and do something so vile like that. What the fuck is wrong with you?!" she demanded. Guan stared at her. She was standing near his once lit campfire. He walked towards he and sat down gently. He looked down at the charred wood. " Let me set something trait with you that not many of your kind can seem to grasp." he turned his head to face her " I'm. Not. Like. You. Mine is a kind of strength and honor that your kind could only dream to imagine." Shadowed Lightning frowned " You know we aren't as weak as you like to think, asshole" She sat down on the stump right next to Guan. He had to admit, that was quite bold of the equine. Guan chuckled to himself. " How's your back doing equine?" he asked mockingly. " Hahah..." Shadowed laughed sarcastically " To be honest its been better, dick" The bat pony cracked her back, wincing with slight pain. " But ill live" Guan was surprised. This equine was proving to be... not so much of a nuisance as the others. " Your being rather kind to be. Have you forgotten what just transpired?" Shadowed lightning looked back to her fellow guards. They we talking among one another, paying no mind to her conversation with Guan. She looked up to face Guan. " Yeahhh, no, that was an act" Guan raised an eyebrow. " Between you and me, that pink spaz annoys the shit out of me" she said with a chuckle. Guan was beginning to grow fond of this pony. " When you told her off like that, I almost lost it man. It was great " " Yes, it did feel rather great didn't it?" Guan stated. " Hahaha, the look on her face.... when you... HAHHAA" she laughed. Guan began to chuckle. This conversation reminded him of times when after a hunt, he and his fellow hunters would laugh about the look on their preys face before they met there end. Guan and Lightning talked for an hour, sharing stories of battle. It had been far to long since Guan had had a mature conversation. After a few more minutes passed, some guards called for Lightning, saying that her shift was up. " Well big guy, guess this is where I leave. Been... an interesting night." she said. As she got up to leave, her back began to ache again. Guan noticed this and removed something from his belt pouch. " Here" he said, offering a small silver pill. Lightning took it with a confused face " Whats that?" " It will help with the pain" Guan said. The Lunar captain smiled " Thanks Guan" The predator just nodded. Shadowed popped the pill into her mouth and walked back towards her guard. " gkaun-yte equine guard" Guan called out. The pony turned to face him " Whats that mean?" " Until we meet again" Guan told her. With that, she nodded and left his camp. Guan stood and walked back to his ship. He hated to admit it but he had slightly enjoyed that conversation. Maybe not all of these ponies were as weak as he thought. Maybe. > Challengers > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Razorbeak sat on his throne. The newly appointed King had easily covered up his fathers murder quite easily. There where a few merchant ponies that had stopped in Griffonia to sell their products. Razorbeak's black tongue had convinced his people that they were assassins who merely disguised themselves as merchants. The innocent ponies had been arrested and were sentenced to execution. Razorbeak smiled at his clever trick, knowing that no one would ever find out the truth of what happened to there King. The throne room doors opened and the Griffon ambassador walked into the room. He shut the door and locked it. The white feathered Griffon walked up to his King and bowed. " My King, I have startling news from our spy's in Equestria." the ambassador said. " And what would that be, me old friend." The ambassador pulled out a news article and a few pictures from his satchel. He walked up the steps to Razorbeaks throne and handed it to him. The King swiftly snatched items from his friends hand. He looked at the news article first. The articles caption read: ' New Life found in Equestria..... but not from this world?' Razorbeak's left eyebrow raised with interest. He placed the paper on his armrest and looked at the pictures. Indeed this creature looked quite alien. Razor had never seen anything like this before. The King looked back to the paper and say the date it was published. " This paper says this story is about a month old, so why the bloody hell am I only finding out about it now?" Razorbeak asked with anger. The ambassador gulped " Well, you see m'lord, the spy's didn't want to send you false information. They wanted to find out if this was real and not some stupid joke made those fuckin ponies." Razorbeak scratched his chin " Well, i guess that's alright then. But be sure to give them a little ' slap on the wrist ' for me would you." The ambassador shook his head and pulled out a clipboard with some paper on it. He wrote ' Flog spy's for retaining information' in bold lettering. He put the clipboard away and looked back up to his King. " So what shall we do about this ' Alien ' of theirs sire? " Razorbeak thought for a few seconds. " If this thing ain't killin them freaks then it may be allied with em. We can't have that. Who knows what kinda weapons and technology this things got." Razorbeak stood from his throne and placed a hand on the ambassadors shoulder. " Send word to them two assassins that took out that political bloke in Appleloosa. Tell em I've got a business proposition for them." Razorbeak instructed. Razorbeak walked past the ambassador and headed for the exit of the throne room. " Tell them they'll be paid handsomely for the job." He added quickly, not even looking at the ambassador before exiting the room. Two hours later... Razorbeak walked down the spiraling staircase to his kingdoms dungeon. This place was on of his favorite to visit in the castle. The screams from the prisoners was like music to his ears. Razorbeak reached the end of the stairs and walked down a large hallway. On the sides of each walls were rusty metal doors. The griffon king could hear the sobbing and moaning of the prisoners behind the doors. It brought a smile across his face. At the end of the hallway were a pair of huge wooden doors. Razorbeak opened entered the room and shut the doors behind him. The room was massive, and looked like a mad scientists laboratory. In the room there were a few griffons in lab coats, working and talking among themselves. In the middle of the room, there laid three beings on three steel operating tables. A unicorn, Minotaur, and a teenage dragon. They were all bound to the tables. A griffon doctor approached Razorbeak. " My king" she said, bowing " All preparations have been completed. The subjects are ready." Razorbeak smiled " Well don't just stand there, wake em up." The doctor nodded and walked towards the subjects. She removed IV's from their arms and in a few moments, each one came to. The tables raised and tilted forward so that the subjects could look upon Razorbeak. When they noticed they were bound, they weakly struggled but to no prevail. " Good morning sleepyheads." Razorbeak chuckled " Welcome to the best day, of your miserable lives." Razorbeak grabbed a clipboard of a nearby table and approached the teenage dragon. " Lets see here. Your name is Ember Sparks. Age is fifth-teen, and you are from the the Dragon Kingdom in the Blue Mountains yes?" The orange dragon nodded his head " Yes..... where am I?" he asked concernedly. Razorbeak didn't answer and moved to the Minotaur. " Your name is Steel Resolve. Age is fifty-two, and you are from Badlands yes?" The grey Minotaur growled " Yes... and i demand to know why I'm here?! " Yet again, Razorbeak didn't give an answer and moved to the last subject, the unicorn. " And you, your name is Cinnamon Hearts. Age is Twenty and you are from Macintosh Hills yes?" The cinnamon colored mare said nothing, her head down and eyes glued to the floor. Razorbeak raised a brow and grabbed the mare by the throat, lifting her face to meet his. She had her eyes clenched shut. " Is this information correct?" he asked impatiently. Cinnamon opened her eyes and spat directly into the kings face. Razorbeak withdrew his grasp from the pony and whipped the spit from his face. " HOW DARE YOU SPIT AT ME DISGUSTING SLAG !?" Razorbeak screamed. Cinnamon had tears streaming down her face " Why did you do it.....?" " WHAT?" " WHY DID YOU KEEP ME ALIVE?!" she screamed " YOU KILLED MY ENTIRE FAMILY, BUT NOT ME. WHY?" she pleaded. Razorbeak's initial rage was now replaced with a sick, maniacal happiness. " Well because I needed a unicorn pony for this little experiment that you will all be taking part of. " Razorbeak explained. Ember Sparks began to shake with fear " Wha... what experiment?" he sobbed. Razorbeak looked to the dragon with a smile. " Glad you asked mate. BRING IN THE PROJECTOR!" With their order given, three doctors left the room to retrieve the machine. Razorbeak looked back to the still sobbing Cinnamon. He walked towards her and placed his beak right next to her ear. " I can tell you that your miserable fucking family suffered for hours by the hands of my executioners " he whispered. " But I can assure you that what I'm going to do to you and those two beside you.... will be far worse than anything that they endured. I hope that gives you some peace about their deaths." Cinnamon Hearts completely broke down as the griffon king stepped away from her. He looked at the other two subjects. He chuckled at their concerned expressions. Nothing could prepare them for what they were about to see and hear. The three doctors came rushing back in with the projector, stopping in front of Razorbeak. Razorbeak aimed it a whiteboard. " Lets begin..." One hour later... Razorbeak sat alone on his throne once again. He thought that that presentation had gone quite well. The Minotaur was to shocked and disturbed to say anything, the dragon was squealing and crying for his mother, and the pony.... it looked like she had lost touch with reality itself. All in all, Razorbeak was pleased. The king's thoughts were broken by the voice of the ambassador. " My lord, the assassins you requested for have arrived." he stated. " Excellent! Send them in!" Razorbeak ordered. With a nod, the ambassador opened the throne room doors, beckoning the pair of killers into the room. The assassins walked forward until they reached the bottom steps of the throne. One of was a White Minotaur. Scars of battle were all over his upper body. He wore a brown tunic which was torn and ripped all over. His eyes were pitch red with a rather large scar going down his left eye to the bottom of his jaw. Like most Minotaur's, he was in peak physical condition. The other was a Diamond Dog. His coat was black with clearly defined rich tan markings. He wore a red vest and a belt that held up his blue pants. Two daggers were attached to the belts sides. His eyes were a deep yellow, the kind of eyes that say his life story. Razorbeak stood from his throne " Welcome gentlemen, I have called you here on a matter of extreme importance." The Diamond Dog grinned " And me and my associate here are pleased to help.... as long as the price is good." Razorbeak smiled " But of course lads! But before we get ahead of ourselves, can I have your names?" " My names Mutt, and my friend here's name is Tiny." the Diamond Dog said, gesturing towards the white giant. Razorbeak looked at ' Tiny ' and was greeted to the Minotaur cracking his neck. Razorbeak nodded " Quite.... WELL, I wont waste your time further. This is what I need done. You see I have a certain problem near the town of Ponyville. A problem I need gone... immediately." The griffin king walked down the thrones steps and looked Mutt dead in the eyes. " I need that bloke them ponies think is alien dead.... you think you can manage that?" He asked. Mutt looked at Tiny and received a nod from the Minotaur. He looked back at Razorbeak. " Well killing an extraterrestrial seems to be on everyone's mind nowadays." Mutt said with a laugh. Razorbeak raised a questioning eyebrow. " What you think your the first person who's asked us to kill this thing?" Mutt asked " Well I'm sorry to say King Razorbeak, but we've had an offer of up to five thousand bits for the head of this thing, and I seriously doubt you would want to go any higher then that so....." " I'll pay you both twenty-thousand." Mutt and Tiny looked at each other for a few seconds and then looked back to Razorbeak. " Any specific way you want it done your highness?" asked Mutt, trying his best to keep his composure. Razorbeak smiled " I've heard you two are quite deadly in unarmed combat. It is said that your skills in martial arts are unmatched." Mutt snickered " Yeah that's true. Me and my friend here have yet to find anyone worthy enough to call a challenge." " Well then its settled!" Razorbeak exclaimed " Twenty-thousand fro the both of you, for one alien beaten to death. No weapons. I also want you to lure him out in the town of Ponyville. Show them pony folks a show. When the jobs done, return to me and you will receive your pay" " I think we can do that. Alright then, we're off. It's been a pleasure doing business with your King Razorbeak." Mutt said, extending a paw. Razorbeak shook his hand and bid the two good luck. The ambassador held the door for the two assassins as they left, and closed it behind them. The ambassador looked to face Razorbeak, who was now making his way back up to his throne. " My lord please forgive me if I seem out of place but... don't you think that forty-thousand septum's is a bit much for one assassination? " he asked his king. Razorbeak chuckled as he sat down. " I'm not going to pay them ambassador." The ambassador furrowed his brows " I don't understand my king. Why would you not pay them?" Razorbeak chuckled again " Well my friend, I need to see what we're up against " a malicious smile grew on his face " And I've got a feeling in my gut that them boys won't be coming back for their reward." Eight hours later in the Everfree Forest.... Guan silently bounced from tree branch to tree branch, his body cloaked and a metal bow strapped to his torso. The cool morning air enveloped him. He had discovered a trail of hoof prints from the deer that had escaped him the night prior. It would not escape him this time. The yautja stopped and perched himself on a large branch. He swore he saw movement. Guan switched to his infrared vision and noticed a red and orange blotch but just a few meters away. It was the deer. The predator quietly pulled out his bow. He then pulled one arrow of three that were strapped onto his lower back. He aimed his weapon at the grazing animal, nocked the arrow, pulled back on the string, and fired. Guan dragged the dead deer by its legs into his camp. This was an easy kill and its meat would feed him for a good three days. He stopped near the log that he and the guard equine had talked. On it was a small envelope. Guan dropped the deer and picked up the envelope. Inside was a check and a note. ' Big guy, I was ordered to give this check to you by the princesses. You can cash it in at the Ponyville General Bank. With the bits, you can buy things from market ponies. Don't spend it all in place! - Captain Shadowed Lightning Guan growled. He knew that this act of charity was simply so that he could socialize with the equines. He would spit in disgust of their trickery if he were not wearing his bio-helmet. Though this could be beneficial. A yautja's diet consists of mostly meat. However, his kind also eat fruits and vegetables. The ' Everfree Forest' was a gold mine for eatable meats, but eatable fruits and vegetables were scarce. Guan thought for a few minutes until coming to a decision. He put the check in one of his belt pouches and made his way near the entrance to the crash site. A few guards stared up at him. " I'm going to the town you refer to as ' Ponyville'. Be on extra guard whilst I'm gone." Guan instructed them. The guards said nothing and merely nodded. Guan could see the disapproval of being ordered by him on their faces. It brought a smile to his face. One hour later, just outside Ponyville.... Guan exited the forests brush and was greeted to a stone walkway. He was about to cloak himself, but then remembered that the ponies knew of his existence, so their was no real point in doing so. He walked along the walkway for a few moments until he finally saw his destination. Ponyville seemed to be quite smaller than he last recalled. To him it seemed about the size of a village that sucklings were sent to to begin training for their first hunts back on his world. He walked over a stone bridge and entered the town. Guan looked around. For what he remembered of his last time here, Ponyville was had quite a few residence. When Guans had been brought here by the purple equine, there were hundreds of them, greedily trying to snap a picture of him. That was quite the embarrassing moment for Guan. The Champion of his clan.... discovered by tiny horses. If it were not for his status in the clan, he would have had to activate his self destruct, to ensure nothing else knew of his existence. Luckily for him, the title of Champion gave him a right to communicate with other species and judge their worthiness. So far he was yet to be impressed. Guan walked through the town expecting to see some of the equines. The Ponyville looked as if it was abandoned. Market stands had no one selling, the houses were empty, some even had the doors open as if the occupants and been rushed out of there in a hurry. Guan kept searching for signs of life when he saw a small orange dot rushing towards him. He switched to the planets spectrum view and extended his Wrist blades. It was a small equine, more than likely a child. Guan sheathed his blades. The small colt slid to a stop in front of him. The boy cowered slightly at the sight of Guan. He raised his head from the ground. " Are...are you the alien?" he asked innocently. Guan simply nodded before beginning to walk past the colt. The colt watched him move on, trying to say something that only came out as a mutter. Guan stopped. " What?" Guan asked. The colt slowly stood and shakily said " I... I was sent to get some guards to find you." Guan turned to face the child " And why is that boy?" he asked impatiently. " Because they want you." the colt told him. " At the bank." Guan slowly approached the colt. He knelled down, looming over him. " Speak clearly child, who wants me?" Guan asked calmly. The colt took a deep breath " That's just it! These two guys came into town and took to ponies as hostages in the bank...." the colt exclaimed "....and they say that want you to come and fight them and if you don't, their going to kill the hostages!" Guan pondered for a few moments. he stood and looked down to the colt. " Take me there." The small colt took Guan to the bank. Ponies were screaming and shouting behind an authorities barricade. This explained why the town was seemingly abandoned. A mare came running towards the colt. " Featherweight! I told you to find a guard, not the monster!" she scolded. Guan growled at being called a monster. " But Mom! He was in the town!" Featherweight said. The mother said nothing to Guan as she pulled her son away. The yautja didn't pay any attention to it, only moving through the crowd and towards the bank. All the chaos of screams stopped as the mares and stallions looked up at Guan. They moved aside, not daring to get in the towering aliens way. Only two stood stopped him. They were two of the nine mares in the cave that he had ' rescued on that fateful night. " You!" the cyan Pegasus exclaimed " This is your fault!" " Watch your tongue mare!" Guan warned " Now, tell me what this is all about." The white unicorn stepped forward " They want to kill you for some reason..." Guan held back a chuckle " ...And they've taken my sweet sister hostage! She's only a child!" the unicorn cried. Though Guan didn't particularly care for many races besides his own, there was one thing, no matter the species, that he despised more. Threatening children. " How many are there?" Guan asked. " Just two. A Diamond Dog and Minotaur." the Cyan pegasus said. Guan looked forward to the bank and back down to the mares " Stay here." The predator pushed through the two and continued his march towards the small building. He reached the barricade and was yet again stopped by a touch on his back. It was the unicorn. " Please save her..." she pleaded. Guan paused but didn't look back. Some of the authority ponies tried to stop him but eventually let him pass over the barricade, to scared to even touch the alien. Guan stopped halfway from the barricade to the bank, waiting for his challengers to approach. The metal door opened and the ' Diamond Dog' stepped out... with the child in his grasp. " So.... your the guy huh?" the dog said " The names Mutt, yours?" Guan said nothing. " Oh I see, strong and silent type eh?" Mutt joked " Sorry we had to nab the kid, just thought it would get you here faster." Again, Guan said nothing. A few droplets of rain began falling. Mutt smiled " Well seeing your here now i guess we don't need her any more..." Mutt bent down and placed the filly on the moistening ground, gently kicking her behind to move her towards Guan. She moved slowly, limping. Guan looked down to her as she passed by. When she was back behind the barricade and in the arms of her sister, Guan looked back to Mutt. "... So shall we fight now? Like the warriors of old?" Mutt said while unsheathing his belt daggers and tossing them to the ground. The rain was beating down heavy now. " Your no warrior." Guan spoke as he to began to drop his weapons to the floor. If he were not bound to his code of honor, he would cut out Mutt's trachea and be done with it, but honor demanded it be a fair fight. " A warrior doesn't threaten defenselessly children." Mutt gulped at the sound of Guan's booming voice. " A warrior doesn't fight for a price..... he fight's for the pleasure." Guan finished as he dropped his last weapon on the ground. Mutt scoffed " Then I guess me and my friend are a different kind of warrior." Mutt began to walk in an arch towards Guan. Guan did the same until they both stood with their sides facing the bank and crowd of ponies watching the scene play out. " Well lets begin than shall we? OHHH TINYYYYY!" Mutt called. Though the Banks window, the white Minotaur burst out and tackled Guan to the ground. Tiny raised Guan up it he air by the throat ( with extreme effort ) and began to repetitively punch the predator in the gut. Guan was surprised but... he felt it. It hurt, though it was a slight pain, but it hurt. He had forgotten what it was like to be hit by a powerful foe. He had also forgotten how much he hated it. Guan collected himself. He managed to grab the giants incoming punch with his knees. Guan brought down a sucker punch straight into Tiny's nose. The Minotaur released his grip on Guan's throat and grabbed his now bloody nose. Guan went to land another punch on the beast, but Tiny saw it coming and slammed his head into Guan's chest, sending the yautja sliding backwards onto his back. Guan quickly got back up. He turned around to see Mutt charging him. The Diamond Dog released a fury of punches and kicks at Guan. Guan blocked as many attacks as he could. Mutt was fast but the blows he managed to land hardly fazed the predator. When Guan saw an opening in Mutt's attack, he thrust both of his fists into the dog's chest, sending him sliding backwards. Mutt was taken aback by the yautja's strength. He had spared with Tiny many times, and his hardest hit never came close to that attack. Guan assumed a fighting stance as did his challengers. They moved in slowly. Tiny went for a punch while Mutt went for a leg kick. Guan slapped Tiny's punch away whilst kicking Mutt's incoming kick. The two bounty hunters continued to throw a flurry of attacks at Guan, only to have them blocked. Mutt growled, and lunged at Guan. Guan stepped on Mutt's left thigh, up his shoulder and pushed the Diamond Dog to the ground. With the propulsion of the push, Guan leaped backwards and turned around mid-air, and delivered another devastating punch on Tiny's nose, breaking it. The Minotaur fell to the ground in pain, holding his shattered snout. The crowd gasped. Many ponies had heard stories of Minotaur's being invincible in battles. This alien was putting that legend to the test. Mutt jumped up and ran towards the distracted Guan. Guan turned at just the right second and caught Mutt's incoming attack. The predator took his right index and middle finger, and jammed it into Mutt's throat. The canine coughed and gasped for air, leaving him open for attack. Guan slammed a fist into Mutt's stomach, causing Mutt to cough up a bit of spit. Guan then looked to his opponents left leg. The predator swiftly brought a foot down into Mutt's knee, snapping it. Mutt yelped in agony as he crouched down to grab his broken leg. Guan moved behind Mutt and brought down three hard hammer fists, sending Mutt to all fours, dazed. Guan noticed that Tiny was beginning to get back up. The predator leaped jumped on Mutt's back, smooshing him into the ground, and jumped up in the air. As Tiny stood, Guan slammed an elbow down on the top of the Minotaur's head. Tiny yet again fell to the ground, his head pounding with searing pain from Guan's strike. He had had enough of this. Quickly this time, Tiny stood and growled a primal growl, straining every muscle in his body in rage. Guan looked upon the Minotaur, and slowly assumed another fighting position. Tiny shot three punches at Guan, all of which were yet again blocked by Guan. Guan lashed out a palm and clawed Tiny across the face with his razor sharp nails. Tiny's face dripped with blood, some of it getting in his eyes and blinding him. Guan took this advantage and began an assault of punches and claws. After a few moments, Tiny's entire body was full of claw marks and bruises. Guan was quite surprised that Tiny was still even standing. Tiny went for one final hit, moving slowly and weakly. Quickly, Guan grasped the Minotaur's throat and brought down elbow after elbow blow to the top of his head until eventually the predator heard a satisfying crunching noise. Guan released his grip on Tiny's throat and let the assassin fall flat on his back. Tiny convulsed on the wet soil for a few seconds. He then laid still. Guan switched his vision to X-ray and looked at Tiny's head. The top of his skull had caved in. With one of his foes dead. Guan turned to face the wounded Mutt, only to notice that the Diamond Dog had crawled back towards the banks door. Guan walked slowly towards him, enjoying the suspense of his next kill. When he reached Mutt, the wounded ' warrior' turned over and looked Guan straight in the face. Like a bolt of lighting, Mutt introduced on of his daggers, slamming it into Guan's side. Guan didn't even make a noise. The predator clutched the dagger and pulled it out. Fluorescent green blood dripped from his wound and the blade. He dropped the dagger and picked Mutt up by the throat, bringing him to eye level. Mutt chuckled. " Well.... least I went out.... a warrior." he weakly said in the grasp of the yautja. Guan snarled. " We have a word for your kind of warrior on my world canine....." Guan said. Mutt could feel his grip getting tighter. " The word is tjau'ke...... it means coward." Before Mutt could say anything else, he was forever silenced by a swift movement of Guan's wrist. The predator dropped the corpse of Mutt and looked down on it. This pathetic creature didn't deserve to made into a trophy. The predator turned to face the crowd of ponies. The crowd had lessened during the fight. It was probably to violent for the weaklings to handle. Still though a few remained, like the authorities and the two ponies who had stopped him in the crowd. They all stood there with their mouths open. Guan reached into his pocket and pulled out the check he had been given. " Who here runs this bank!" The storm had passed and it was beginning to darken. Night would soon be upon the hunter. Guan had recieved the money from the bank and was nearing the end of the supply's he required. He had been able to leave the the area without much of a struggle. The guards were far to intimidaated by him to even try to say anything. Guan liked it that way. " Hey!" yelled a familiar voice behind him. Guan turned to face the cyan pegasus from earlier. She flew swiftly towards him and stopped a few foot away from him, hovering in the air. " What do you want equine?" Guan said, annoyance dripping from his voice. " I just wanted to speak to you for a sec" " Very well, you've spoken, now be gone." the predator said before tuning to continue buying supplies. " It was a real shit thing you did to Pinkie, you know that." she scolded. Guan stopped and turned again " That pink annoyance deserved far worse for her behavior. On my planet..." Guan was cut short by the pegasus soaring towards him, pressing her face against his mask. " WELL YOUR NOT ON YOU PLANET ARE YOU!..." she screamed. "... and the sooner you realize that pal, the better " The pegasus floated to the ground gently " And, another thing, my names Rainbow Dash not equine" " Well, equine, is there anything else you wish to say to me?" Guan asked calmly. He didnt like this mare. Far to overconfident in herself. " Yea, I wanted to say thanks..." she said. Guan was suprised by that. He raised a questioning eyebrow. " What could you possibly need to thank me for? From what you have described I don't deserve thanks" Rainbow sighed " I'm still pissed off about how you choked me in the cave, and what you did to Pinkie Pie but.... you did save me and her that night, plus you just saved Sweetie Bell from those bastards down at the bank. I don't forgive you for what you've done to my friend, but still... thanks for saving us I guess" The two stood there silently for a few moments. Guan made a few clicking noises before speaking. " Was not my intention to save you that night. The fact that you survived was a mere convenience...." Rainbow sneered and prepared to fly off. " But i did save the filly with intent. For that I will accept your thank you" Rainbow Dash smirked a little " Better than nothing I guess..... so what were even doing in town to begin with?" " I'm stocking on supplies equine " he said before turning and moving on. Rainbow Dash followed. " It's Rainbow, and what kind supplies we talking here? she asked. " Fruits and vegetables " Guan growled. " Cool, cool. Well i've got to go down to Sugarcube Corner now to console my depressed friend now. Good luck with your supplies." Guan seriously felt like chuckling at that comment. Was she trying to make him feel bad? Guan noticed the mare turning to leave. He quickly grabbed her tail. " Hey! What gives?!" Rainbow yelled. " I require your assistance equine. I have been looking for a vendor that sells the fruit, apple. Where i can find such a vendor?" Guan asked. Rainbow dash's flustered face switched to that of concern. " Um, yeah you might want to skip out on apples today pal..." Guan became annoyed " And why is that?" Rainbow turned to face him and in turn Guan released her tail. " The only pony that sells apples in Ponyville is Applejack down in Sweet Apple Acres. When she found out about what you said to Pinkie that night, she nearly blew a gasket! She said that if she ever saw your scaly hide, she would tan it and make it into a pair of boots." Guan was silent. " I know you think I'm just this annoying little thing, but dude listen to me. I've never seen Applejack that angry. You might actually want to think about leaving this town for your own safety man." His own safety? Guan laughed a low pitched laugh. " Take me to this ' Sweet Apple Acres ' pony" Guan ordered. " Seriously, guy, listen to me you don't....." " Now "
