 My Little Gohan







Chapter 1: Arrival

Location: Mountain Region

Things have been rough for Gohan since the end of the Cell games. His friends abandoned him, his mother disowned him, and all of them were now hunting him down. But why...?

Was the mistake he made really so bad? He wanted to make Cell pay for hurting his friends and for all the people he absorbed. He was driven by his Saiyan instincts to fight and his own emotional fury. Was any of the other Z-fighters really any better.

Vegeta killed many during his first visit to earth and never apologized or felt bad about it afterward. Piccolo himself used to be the demon king and slaughtered many in his quest for power.

So why was he being punished for unintentionally causing the death of only one person...his own father? How was he to know that cell would self-destruct.

These are the questions that ran through Gohan's mind as he ran as fast as he could into the mountains. The only person who did not hate him was Bulma who did not blame Gohan for Goku's death. She had even helped Gohan escape from the other Z-fighters who were hunted him down like a rabbit chased by the wolves.

Before Gohan ran Bulma has given him two things to aid him in his escape. A watch that could mask his ki signature completely, and the dragon radar. These 2 items were the only thing keeping him alive and he was determined not to lose either one of them.

But why had she given him the Dragon radar...did she think that Gohan could use Shenron to bring Goku back to life. Didn't she know that Goku didn't want to be brought back after they had tried the first time?

Whatever the case Gohan knew that he had to keep moving with the Dragonballs that he had collected, only one more and he could summon the Dragon.

/ I...have to keep moving!/ thought Gohan as he picked up as much speed as his legs would give him, but he was tired and badly starving. / The ball is close... just have to keep going/

Slowing down to rest on a small boulder he caught his breath and studied the Dragon radar. "Alright where is the last ball?" Gohan asked himself while breathing heavily. The Dragon radar beeped rapidly and showed a large glow on it's surface. "It's close I can feel it!"

Jumping up from the stone Gohan examined the area he was in trying to find the location of the ball. It was starting to get dark so he needed to hurry, every minute he spent looking for the ball was another minute his ex-friends had to find him and he didn't want to find out what they would do if they did manage to catch up to them.

After crawling around the mountain for a few minute he noticed a faint glow coming from a small stream. He walked up to the water and peered into it's shimmering surface. Sure enough at the bottom of the stream was magic ball that he had been searching for. Quickly recovering the ball he started running to find a clearing that he could summon the Dragon in.

Something bothered him though, everything seemed like it was too easy. Running up the mountain he found the clearing that he need and he got to work positioning the balls to summon Shenron. The bad feeling came back stronger than ever but that gave him and even better reason to work as fast as he could.

After Gohan put the last ball in it's place he yelled in a dry and raspy voice "ARISE SHENRON!"

The balls emitted a golden glow as the the pulled themselves close together and shot a massive pillar of light into the sky. The light continued climbing higher and higher until it twisted and curved in a snake light fashion until the almighty dragon Shenron was formed.

A new sense of hope welled up inside Gohan as he heard the Dragon speak the typical greeting it gave all who summoned him. "Who awakens me from my eternal slumber!" spoke Shenron in his booming voice.

Gohan feeling intimidated but at the same time awestruck responded "It's me Gohan, will you please grant my wish?"

Shenron recognized Gohan ask he was atop Kami's lookout just a few short weeks ago when he was summoned to return Goku back to life. "Very well human...Speak your wish now!"

Gohan was grateful but he didn't know what to wish for. Gohan decided to ask again if Goku would return from the afterlife but before he could speak his wish he felt multiple energies that he knew all to well.

"If it isn't our old friend Gohan, Cause any one else to die today?" spoke the condescendingvoice of the Saiyan Prince Vegeta. Turning around Gohan could see all of his former friends staring at him with angry but undecided looks on their faces.

"So which of you would like to have the first crack at him?, What about you Krillin?" Krillin didn't respond but only looked away from Vegeta's smirking gaze. "Don't have the stomach for it baldy...What about you Namek?" just the same as Krillin, Piccolo could only look away. "No takers from you two either?" said Vegeta, referring to both Yamcha and Tien. Neither one of them made any notion of moving. Vegeta laughed "So I'm the only one who has the guts to do what we all decided was best, am I the only one here worthy of being called a warrior!"

None of them looked him in the face or even at Gohan, it seemed as if even if they were angry at him they still didn't think he deserved to be tortured like Vegeta wanted him to. "Well fine seeing has all of you left your balls at home I'll just finish him myself!" Vegeta yelled as he charged up his Gallick Gun.

Gohan knew that his wish was his only chance for survival, but he had to think quick. "Dragon, I wish for you to send me as far away from earth as possible, so far that no one here could ever find me." Yelled Gohan with anger, and fear in his eyes. The Dragon's eyes glowed as Vegeta had released his attack.

Gohan feared for the worst had threw his arms over his face to prepare for the incoming attack. Strangely the attack never made contact, but he felt as if he was moving faster than light through a dark void. Opening his eyes he gasped loudly as he could see that he was moving though space and time covered in a Golden aura.

"Gohan...Do you hear my voice?" a voice that Gohan recognized as Shenron's spoke. Gazing in front of him he realized that the Golden aura was in fact the almighty dragon himself guiding him through the universe.

"Gohan you have wished to be taken as far away from the planet earth as possible within my power, to make sure that no one can follow you I must take you through dimensions personally, but beware where you are going is not hazard free, there will be many hardships in your journey." spoke Shenron increasing the speed of his flying.

Gohan did not care he had nothing to go back to so it didn't matter how hard things would be for him in his new home.

"One last thing Gohan...This dimension will change you body but do not be afraid this change is to ensure that you do not disrupt the order of the world."

Gohan was confused how would his body be changed and what did this mean for his power. Would it be taken from him or would he remain the same. The answers to these questions would come in time but for now he decided to rest for the remainder of his journey, days of scars and bruises had collected on his body and not once had he stop to sleep since he ran away.

As he eyes closed cuddled into a ball on Shenron's back as tears flowed from his eyes. For once in his immortal life Shenron actually felt bad for the young half-saiyan.

Location: Equestria

"Come on Spike we are late to Pinky Pie's party" said a young violet pony running as fast ask her hooves could take her. A small dragon followed behind her. "It's not my fault you wanted to clean the entire library again Twilight." said Spike as he ran behind the pony known as Twilight Sparkle. They increased their speed as they were getting close to Pinky Pie's house. "Hey Twilight look up at the sky isn't it too early in the day for a meteor shower?" Twilight was confused but skidded to a halt and looked where Spike had pointed to. "What do you mean meteor Sho..." her voice caught in her throat as the sky turned in a beautiful shade of gold and meteorites flew through the air.

/Something isn't right here we weren't scheduled for a meteor shower and If we were I would have know about it!/ Twilight thought as she scratched her mane.

The meteorites increased their number and started moving faster and faster until like a rocket one of the flying rocks fell from the sky and crash landed right into the Everfree forest.

"Oh my gosh Spike did you just see that!" Twilight screamed with a shocked look on her face. Spike looked at her for a moment and said "Well it was just a flying rock no reason to miss the party right?"

Twilight looked at him with a unamused face. "Spike what if that meteorite hit some creature in the forest, I think we should go check it out." Spike groaned but knew that when Twilight decided to do something there was no talking her out of it.

"Can't we at least get the other to help us search for it?" spike asked saddened that he wasn't going to be able to party till after the job was done.

Twilight nodded and told him gather everyone at the entrance to the Everfree forest.

-15 minutes later-

Twilight was getting excited to find where the meteorite had landed for a couple of reasons. One reason was that not many objects from space get to be studied by pony kind and another thing was that meteorites are thought to be very magical and could help her train her magic abilities better.

Her exited thoughts were interrupted as spike bounced up the hill with all of her friends close behind. Spike had brought Applejack,Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and lastly Fluttershy who was looking a bit worried about going into the Everfree forest.

"So Twi what this here talk about a meteor crashing into the forest?" spoke Applejack in her usual farm-girl accent.

"Isn't it exiting it just crashed down about twenty minutes ago" said Twilight grinning from ear to ear. Fluttershy was nervous about the damage the meteorite might have caused "I hope none of the animals in the forest got hurt by it"

Rainbow Dash put on a mischievous face and tried to scare Fluttershy. "Well if any of the animals did get hit by hit it's probrably too late to save them because they are as flat as pancakes now!" Rainbow Dash joked as she clapped her hooves together like something was getting smooshed.

Fluttershy looked at the ground sadly as the other ponies shot rainbow dash a disapproving look. Pinkie Pie who was usually the last one to put 2 and 2 together hid inside a log.

Twilight Sparkle looked at her worriedly and asked "Um.. Pinkie Pie what in the world are you doing?" Pinkie Pie poked her head out from the log and started yelling about the sky falling. "You said it yourself Twilight the stars are flying out of the sky and they will crush us all!"

Twilight looked at her amused. "Pinkie the stars aren't falling out of the sky it just means that a meteorite didn't burn up in the atmosphere so there is still a chunk a rock somewhere around here."

Rarity looked disgusted at the idea of finding a rock. " You mean we all left a nice party just to help you find a dirty space rock?" Twilight looked at her and explained "It's not just a space rock, my books says that meteorites are made out of star energy which means that they could help me train my magic."

Applejack jumped to the front of the other ponies and said "Well we won't get anywhere just standing around her like a bundle of hay now let's get going."

Following AppleJack's lead they all followed her into the forest and started looking for the meteorite. "If we split up we can cover more ground." said Twilight.

As the ponies separated through the forest Fluttershy started looking for animals that might have been hurt by the flying rock. "Um... little animals are you here? If you are hurt then I could help fix you up I have a first aid kit with me."

The only thing she could hear through the forest was the eery silence that was always there. She continued walking through the forest checking as much as she could for any injured animals. She couldn't hear the sounds of the other ponies anymore so she decided that she had wondered to far in and it was time for her to turn around.

But before she could leave the smell of burning rock caught her nose and she turned to the source of the smell. It was a jagged rock about 10 times as big as she was. She let out a breath of relief as she could tell that the only thing that was injured by the rock was a few trees and the ground itself.

She was about to yell out to let her friends know that she had found the rock but before she let out a sound she heard a noise. She slowly walked around the rock as the noise started getting louder but at the same time still muffled.

After walking towards the other side of the rock she noticed that the sound was coming from a pile of branches that were knocked down from the impact. "Oh no a poor little animal must be buried underneath all those branches!" she gasped and started pulling branches off of the pile.

As more and more branches were pulled off of the pile she could start to see purple fur. She kept pulling as the branches were getting heavier and by the time she pulled the last branch off she was out of breath and panting on the ground.

After catching her breath she decided to see what exactly was caught underneath the pile of sticks. Surprisingly it wasn't a small animal like she had thought...it was another Pegasus pony just like her. The new pony had a purple coat with a black mane, but the thing that amazed her the most was the wings that were on his back. They were a beautiful shade of gold that shimmered in the day light.

Her amazement ceased however when she saw the long bleeding scar that ran up the pony's chest. Fearing for the worst she screamed out to her friends to come to her. As the sound a galloping hooves came closer the voice of Applejack rang out through the forest and asked "Fluttershy are you okay?"

Fluttershy looked at her friends with small tears in her eyes and tried to from words. "I...I'm okay, but...he's not!" The other ponies looked at the unknown pony on the ground at asked what had happened to him. Fluttershy told them that she had found him under a pile of branches and that she thinks he was hit by the meteorite.

Twilight Sparkle face turned serious as she turned to spike and said "Spike send a letter to Princess Celestia and tell her that we need a chariot and some doctor's ready to fix him up."

Spike did as he was told and sure enough about as fast as he sent it a chariot with none other than the Princess herself pulled up in front of the ponies. "My dearest Twilight what has happened here?" asked the princess shock clearly on her face. Twilight looked at her and said "We think he was hit by this meteorite that fell from the sky today."

Celestia looked at her confused "I did not realize we were scheduled for a meteor shower today."

The other ponies shrugged as the princess continued "it does not matter now, all that does matter is that we get this young pony some help."

The princess's guards loaded the young pony into the chariot and sped off as fast as the could for the castle not noticing that the cutie mark on the young pony flank was the image of a glowing ball with stars on it.

Chapter 2: New Friends

To say that Fluttershy was nervous would be a understatement. Just a few short hours ago she went from having a good time with her friends at a party, to finding a injured pony in the Everfree forest.

But who was this pony and why did no one seem to know him. Even Princess Celestia had no idea who or where this pony had come from. The one thing that they did know was that the poor boy had numerous scars that looked old so whatever happened to him was not caused by the falling meteorite.

Princess Celestia had been kind enough to allow them to stay at her castle until the matter had been resolved. Looking at the room she and her friends were staying in, Fluttershy could tell everyone was fast asleep as the sound of soft snores filled the air.

It had been a strange day for them so it wasn't hard to believe that they would be tired. Something pulled at the back of her mind though.

Something was telling her to get out of her bed and visit the mysterious pony in the hospital ward of the castle. Slowly getting out of her bed as quietly as she could so she wouldn't disturb her friends she walked over to the door and exited the room.

Walking through the various hallways of the castle she soon found herself at the destination she was looking for. Walking in she noticed that it was dark all except for a small candle against the window. Seeing as no one was in the room she slowly moved closer to the bed with the room's lone occupant.

Lying in the small white bed was the injured pony. Fluttershy noticed that all of his wounds had been dressed by the hospital staff and she could also see a lot of ointment had been rubbed into his skin to keep the areas from being infected.

"Oh you poor little thing, who did this to you?" she asked once again as tears started to from in her eyes.

She felt like embracing him into the tightest hug she could possibly give and never letting him go. She could see that his sleep was not a peaceful one due to the pained look on his face and knew that in the night air her must have been freezing.

Looking over to the table beside the bed she noticed that there was a blanket laying neatly folded right on top of it. Reaching up with her hooves she picked up the blanket and softly laid it on the sleeping pony. She could tell that it helped because almost at once his shivering stopped and his face softened up a bit.

"There you go little one, I hope you get better soon." she softly said to him and leaned down to kiss his forehead.

As soon as her lips made contact she heard a creak behind her and drew back fast to observe who had just entered. Standing in her own majestic light was the Princess herself.

"Have you come to check on the guest Fluttershy?" Princess Celestia asked with a small smile on her face.

"Um..he looked cold so I put a blanket on him to warm him up." Fluttershy tried to explain looking down with a small blush getting redder on her face.

The princess gave a small chuckle and wrapped the smaller pony into a embrace "It's okay Fluttershy, it is only natural to care for those who are unable to help themselves."

Celestia glanced over at the bed and remembered the horrible scars the covered the young pony's body.

Anger welled up inside her as she thought about the monsters that would dare harm such a young pony.

"Princess...do you think that he will be okay?" Fluttershy asked trying to wipe the remaining tears that were threatening to run down her face.

"Only time will tell Fluttershy, the only thing we can do now is allow him to rest and pray that he soon awakens." Princess Celestia then stared out the window. "I'm worried though, scars like those would not have been made easy and not only is there physical scars but I can guarantee the mental scars he carries are far greater." she finished and lowered her head.

Fluttershy face darkened thinking of the pain that poor pony must have gone through.

"Princess I would like to stay at the castle until he wakes up." Fluttershy said while staring at their new guest.

Princess Celestia turned from her spot at the window confused. "You mean you want to stay and take care of him for as long as it takes for him to awaken, what about all of your animals back home who will take care of them?"

"Spike could take care of them while I am here, that would let me keep and eye on him and let you know if he wakes up!" Fluttershy spoke sounding exited to be the one taking care of the injured pony.

Princess Celestia thought about it for a minute. Knowing her busy schedule she would not be able to keep checking to see how he was doing, and Fluttershy was the best pony qualified for taking care of animals but how would she do against another pony?

"Alright Fluttershy I will make it your personal job to watch over our guest, but know now this will not be like one of you small animal friends taking care of another pony is serious business." Celestia spoke almost grinning at how eager Fluttershy was to take care if him.

"Oh thank you princess, I promise you I won't fail!" Fluttershy said saluting a hoof to her head.

The princess laughed at the young pony's antics and left to prepare to welcome the day, leaving Fluttershy alone in the room.

Letting out a small yawn, she finally decided that it was time to return to her room for a few well deserved hours of rest. Looking over at the sleeping pony she walked over and kissed his forehead yet again. "Alright I will be back soon to take care of you so wait for me to come back." she whispered as if expecting a reply from him.

As she walked back into her room and climbed back into bed,sleep came easily for her...the same could not be said for the injured pony.

(Location: Gohan's mind)

The landscape of Gohan's mind was filled with many tall but destroyed building. He was using one of the many buildings to hide himself from the things that pursued him. Alone he sat in the dark catching his breath.

Suddenly before he could blink the roof was ripped off and the loud laughter of his greatest foe...the bio-android Cell rang out through the air. Cell had manifested himself as a giant which only served to cause Gohan to cower in fear.

"Did you really think you could ever defeat me you half-saiyan whelp?" taunted cell smashing his hand into the rest of the building in which Gohan barely managed to fly away from.

Gohan quickly flew away from the psycho android as he tried to find yet another place to hide from him. Before he could even find a place the ground below him exploded and a large gloved hand snatch him from the air and tightly squeezed him.

Gasping for air Gohan could only stare in horror as the face of the saiyan prince Vegeta rose from the gigantic crater in the ground and sneered at him.

"Running away from your enemies are you brat?" His voice rang in disgust "You are nothing but a disgrace to all saiyans everywhere!"

Gohan could feel the air leave his lungs as the hand tightened even more causing blood to shoot out of his mouth. Both Cell and Vegeta continued to taunt him as he could feel his life slowly slipping away.

He could no longer hear their words, which could only mean that his end was soon coming and decided to give in and not fight back any longer. At least the pain would stop.

But to his surprise everything went silent and the tightness he felt around his bodies eased away. Opening his eyes he could see the brightest light shine through the air.

It continued to move close to him until it was only a few feet in front of him. Inside of the light was a beautiful angel with the most lovely wings he had ever seen.

The light that covered this angel slowly warmed his cold body. He was just about to ask her name, but she had spoke to him before he could even begin to find the right words.

"Oh you poor little thing, who did this to you?" the angel asked in a soft voice.

Just the voice alone made him feel safe. He tried to stand but his body ached from exhaustion and he fell right back down to the ground giving a grunt of pain.

The angel embraced him and softly stroked his hair. "There you go little one, I hope you get better soon." she whispered to him placing a loving kiss to his forehead.

After a few minutes of her loving embrace Gohan felt his eyes drop as he fell fast asleep in her arms.

The angel smiled as she layed him down softly on the ground "Alright I will be back soon to take care of you so wait for me to come back."

Spreading her wings and flew away leaving Gohan in a relaxed slumber, the first he has had in days.

(Exit Gohan's mind)

Just like everyday Princess Celestia had raised the sun to welcome the day and had relieved her sister from duty.

It was now time to see Twilight Sparkle and her friends off for the trip back home. Walking into the room that had been reserved for them she noticed that all of the beds were empty, but all of their things remained in their place.

"That's strange, now where could they be?" she asked but had a hunch she knew where they were located. Sure enough she could hear all of their voices coming from the hospital wing and chuckled softly.

Inside the wing all the ponies were conversing about the new pony and Fluttershy's new job.

"So you are really gonna stay here until he wakes up?" asked Twilight with a confused look on her face.

Fluttershy smiled while wiping the pony's face with a cool washcloth "Oh yes the princess is way to busy to keep an eye on him so I decided that I would use my skill for caring for animals to nurse him back to health."

Applejack looked at her very seriously "Surgarcube are you sure that you can handle this, I mean this isn't one of your little critters this is a full grown pony like you and me."

Fluttershy was about to answer when Celestia once again stepped inside.

"I'm sure she will do just fine Applejack, she seems to be doing a splendid job already." said the princess noticing the blush on Fluttershy's face.

"The Princess offered to let me stay here for as long as it takes to make him better." Fluttershy nervously said getting red as a tomato.

Pinkie Pie started bouncing around the room excitedly "Oh my gosh Fluttershy you are so lucky to be able to stay at the castle does this mean you get royal meals, royal baths, royal candy, and royal treatment?"

Fluttershy giggled as her pink friend started imagining all kinds of special treatment that she could have. But she wasn't looking for any special treatment, all she cared about was helping others.

"Fluttershy will be entitled to special guest treatment while she remains here" Celestia spoke hoping to answer all of Pinky Pie's questions.

The princess turned to the small dragon who had been staring out of the tall window that overlooked the ground outside. "Now Spike can I count on you to take care of Fluttershy's animals while she is here?"

Spike turned away from the window and gave Celestia the thumbs up sign and responded "Don't worry Fluttershy you animals will be safe will me."

Fluttershy thanked him and prepared to see her friends off at the front gates. They all exchanged hugs and boarded the chariot bound for Ponyville.

Just has the Pegasus ponies were about to take off Rarity let out a loud scream.

" Ouch Rarity what is your damage?" yelled Rainbow Dash rubbing he ears with her hooves.

Rarity couldn't even bring herself to speak as she pointed her hoof at the familiar window at the top of the castle. They all looked up and could see the reason for her scream. The pony that they had found had somehow fallen out of the window and was plummeting towards the ground!

"Oh my Gosh Fluttershy let's go!" Rainbow Dash yelled as she sped off towards the falling pony.

(Gohan's POV)

I found myself waking up in a place I didn't recognize, my skin was burning up as I slowly stood up out of the bed and landed on the floor. As soon as I hit the floor I noticed something was way off.

My body felt way smaller than it used to be and I could feel a strange heaviness on my back. I tried crawling over to the mirror on the wall near the window as my eyes had not adjusted enough for me to walk on my own two feet.

Again a uneasy feeling washed over my as my hands and feet felt strangely stiff and clumped together as if they had swollen together. I was feeling sick to my stomach as I haven't eaten or drank anything in at least a day and a half.

Finally I had managed to get pulled myself over to the mirror and waited for my eyes to adjust to the lighting of the room. As soon as I could see well enough to get a decent view of myself my breath caught itself in my throat.

Staring back at me from the mirror wasn't me like I was expecting but a pony with a purple coat and a black mane. Backing up I watched as the mirror pony mimicked my movements. Looking down I realized that it wasn't a illusion I had somehow turned into a four legged pony.

Was this what Shenron meant by I would take a different form in this dimension? My head was spinning as the heat in my body became unbearable. The only thing I could think of at the moment was to find fresh air as I walked toward the window and pushed it open with my newly acquired hoof.

I tried to breath deeply as the heat kept getting worse and I started to feel light headed. The hotness of my body was more than I could bear as I collapsed over the window and started falling with great speed to the ground.

The last thing I could hear before blacking out again was the yell of a female and the sound of wings flapping rapidly towards me.

(Normal POV)

Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash flew with great speed to recover the falling pony. They had managed to grab hold of his hooves only inches away from the ground and softly placed him on the ground right next to a fountain.

Fluttershy noticed that his skin felt like a oven and ran to the fountain to obtain some water to cool him down. Rainbow Dash could tell he was in pain by the moans that were slowly coming from his throat and felt bad for him.

Seconds later Fluttershy returned with a big bucket of water and sprinkled some over his face to cool him down.

Celestia had seen the incident and came galloping over to them. "Girls what happened?" she asked shock and concern spread over her face.

Fluttershy looked up and said "Somehow he must have gotten out of bed and opened the window". She rubbed some water over his forehead and used her wings to block the sun from beating down on him.

Celestia thought long and hard before calling Twilight sparkle over to her.

"Twilight do you think you could cast a spell that would cool him down?" she asked not looking away from Fluttershy.

Twilight Sparkle nodded and began to concentrate her horn glowing showing that she was casting a spell.

A blue aura covered the burning pony and soon his body had become cool and his moans of pain had stopped as well.

"There that should keep him cool for awhile" said Twilight exhausted from her heavy concentration.

Fluttershy continued to rub water on his forehead to calm him down relieved that his temperature had started returning to normal. The other ponies started to gather around Fluttershy to observe how things were progressing.

None of them said a word as Fluttershy continued her treatment. When she was out of water she sat and watched him for awhile waiting for something...anything to happen. Her prayers were soon answered as he started to stir and lifted his head up with heavy eyes.

"Can you hear me little guy?" Fluttershy quietly asked not wanting to spook him. He stayed quiet for a few minutes and Fluttershy was worried that he didn't want to speak to her. Sitting up from the spot he was in Gohan slowly looked her in the eye.

"Um...Yes I can hear you" he whispered feeling a bit shy with so many people watching him. Fluttershy became happy as she had finally gotten through to him. Princess Celestia decided to try and talk to him as well.

"Can you please tell us what your name is, young sir?" she asked just as quietly as Fluttershy.

Gohan looked at her for a minute and blushed lightly " Um... my name is Go...Gohan"

The Princess looked pleased as Gohan stared at his hooves waiting for another question.

It was AppleJack's turn for a question as she shuffled up to Gohan slowly but friendly. "So can you tell us what happened to ya and why you look so banged up."

Gohan didn't know how to answer that question. How could he tell them everything that happened to him, and how he magically became a pony. But he couldn't just tell them nothing so he decided to give them a extremely short version of his story.

"I was chased away from home by evil monsters." he said his voice cracking and small tears forming in his eyes.

They could all tell that there was more to his story but was also very painful for him to explain to them so they didn't press him on the issue. Wiping his face with his hoof Gohan tried to stand on his legs but a flash of pain sent him crashing face first into the ground.

Fluttershy quickly moved to his side and tried to help him stand.

Princess Celestia knew that he would not be able to move on his own so she called for her guards to bring a stretcher to help carry Gohan back into the hospital room. The guards quickly loaded him up and carried him with great speed to his destination.

"That poor pony looked so pitiful." said Applejack a frown showing on her face. The rest of the ponies sadly agreed and looked to the princess for advice.

Celestia was troubled by the response Gohan had given them but knew she had to keep a level head for all of their sakes. She turned to the other and gave a forced smile "Alright everyone I know there is a lot going on right now but we need to get you on your way."

The other ponies groaned in complaint but knew that she was right and they all had their own business to attend to.

"Alright Fluttershy are you sure that you can take care of him without any help?" Twilight asked concerned about both of their well-being.

Fluttershy was nervous but at the same time determined. She had finally learned something about her new friend and was eager to speak to him more.

"Don't worry about me Twilight, I can't wait to learn more about him!" she said giving her friends her widest smile.

Rainbow Dash couldn't help but laugh at her "Look out everyone Fluttershy has a crush!"

Fluttershy stop smiling and started chasing after Rainbow Dash blushing furiously "I DO NOT!"

The only ponies could only laugh as they continued their antics. Eventually it was time to go so Fluttershy said goodbye to her friends as their made their journey back home.

Princess Celestia and Fluttershy now stood alone at the gates both thinking about Gohan.

"Well Fluttershy I think it's about time for you to perform your duties and checkup on our newly awakened friend." said Celestia still holding her graceful smile.

"Oh yes princess I will be on my way now thank you for allowing me to stay" squeaked Fluttershy as she galloped away.

As the princess watched her young friend retreat into the castle she couldn't help but think to herself.

"Don't worry Fluttershy you are not the only one who has a crush." she grinned and followed her into the castle.

(With Gohan)

Gohan had found himself back into the bed in which he woke up from, his body felt loads better than earlier that day. His fever had left him, he only had slight aches, and he at least knew that the people that surrounded him were at least friendly.

His thoughts were interrupted as the door creaked open and in walked the pony that was brushing his head with water.

"I just came to check on you again, Gohan." she said and walked next to his bed.

He looked her over for the first time and blushed. She was really cute for a pony with her pink mane, and yellow coat. He realized that he didn't even know her name and knew that when you tell someone your name than you should at least learn theirs in return.

"Could you please tell me your name so I can thank you properly?" he said with a soft smile on his face.

Seeing him smile made her happy inside as it was way better than the painful look that was on his face before.

"I'm Fluttershy, and you don't have to thank me, I couldn't just leave you there."

Gohan could see how shy she was so he tried to change the subject.

"If you don't mind me asking but can you tell me where I am?" he asked as he had no idea where this room was.

"You are in Equestria in Princess Celestia's castle." Fluttershy answered and gave him a shy smile. He was surprised someone of noble blood was willing to keep him in a royal hospital.

"The Princess has allowed me to take special care of you until you are well enough to take care of yourself." she continued a look of pride on her face saying that she has taken her job seriously.

Gohan was grateful, he had almost forgotten how kind someone could be and from a talking pony no less. He silently thanked Shenron for taking him to such a kind place.

"Could you please thank the Princess for me, I don't want to seem rude to my saviors?" he asked hoping to make a good impression.

Before Fluttershy could give him an answer Princess Celestia answered for her walking in room.

"Think nothing of it my new little friend." she spoke warmly to him.

Gohan tried to get up to bow to her but was stopped by her hoof gently pressing him back down to the bed.

"Please don't stress yourself Gohan, you still are not well enough to be out of bed." she warned "you gave us quiet the scare today with your little window stunt."

Gohan frowned and stared at the ground "I'm really sorry your highness I didn't mean to worry anybody."

Princess Celestia felt bad for him, she could tell that he didn't try to cause them trouble.

"It's alright young one, no one is here to blame or accuse you of wrongdoing." she told him placing her hoof against his mane and softly rubbed it.

Gohan felt his face get warm has both Fluttershy and Princess Celestia gathered around his bed. They were both concerned with him and wanted to make sure he was comfortable enough.

Their conversation was interrupted by a loud rumbling sound piercing the air around them. Fluttershy looked all around confused and startled at such a loud sound.

"What in the world was that?" she asked wide-eyed.

Gohan looked embarrased and started rubbing the back of his head with his hoof "Sorry I haven't eaten in a few days so my stomach is empty."

Both Fluttershy and Celestia were speechless as the had never hear such a sound before. All three of them stayed silent for a few minutes until a new sound started filling the air.

Looking over at the two female ponies Gohan could see that the princess was doubled over laughing.

Fluttershy was worried as she had never seen the princess so filled with giggles. Both Fluttershy and Gohan could only stare as the princess continued to laugh until after a few minutes her laughs shortened down into giggles.

"I'm sorry Gohan...I didn't mean to laugh...but that was just so funny." she help her hoof to her mouth and tried to quiet down her giggles.

Calling out for her guards she instructed them to send an order to the chef's to send a cart of food up to the room. In no less than ten minutes a large cart of different apple based foods filled it to the top.

"Well Gohan I think this will be sufficient to fill the void in your belly." grinned Celestia grabbing a cupcake of the cart and lightly snack on it.

Gohan looked at the cart with wonder as the smell of apples filled his nose making his mouth water. Not giving it a second thought he started devouring the stack cart, easily emptying it in a few short minutes.

Both Celestia smiled as she could tell that he enjoyed his meal, while Fluttershy could only stare wide-eyed as the cart that would have taken four ponies to eat was easily devoured by her new friend.

"Well it looks like the chefs will have to do a lot more shopping if we are to keep our new friends happy." Princess Celestia said while sipping on her tea.

Gohan only sat there and grinned.

Chapter 3: The Great Gala of Gallope

Gohan had woken up early, to a commotion out in the courtyard of the castle. Letting out a big yawn he pushed the blankets off of his body and carefully climbed out of the bed. Looking around he noticed that Fluttershy was no where to be found and figured she had went to bed.

"I wonder what's happening outside?" he said to himself and went to go investigate. Stepping into the hallway Gohan took the time to admire the artwork on the stained glass window's. It appeared that they told a story of great importance and he was eager to learn what exactly that story was.

One depicted six ponies holding magic artifacts to defeat a large midnight colored pony. Another depicted that same pony with a another equally large pony of light combating a strange chimera looking creature.

As he continued walking he observed more of the wonderful paintings before bumping into something knocking both him and the thing in question down.

"Ow! How dare thou knock down the royal princess!" a voice yelled out to him. Looking down Gohan saw a pony with a midnight colored mane that looked as if the stars themselves flowed through it.

Gracefully standing straight up the pony looked at him with a look of annoyance. "Well what does thou have to say for yourself" her voice rang out through the hall echoing and chilling him to the bone.

"I...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you" Gohan said, looking down at the ground with a sad look on his face. Turning on the heels of his hooves he was prepared to run away when the loud pony stopped him with a well groomed hoof blocking his path.

"Wait young one, I did not mean to frighten you." she spoke still using her loud voice. It frightened him when she spoke, making his heart race due to the sheer volume of her voice.

"Please don't yell at me, I'm really sorry for knocking you down." Gohan apologized again, still keeping his gaze trained on the floor.

" Thou must be mistaken, for we are using the traditional Canterlot voice, we require high volume to properly address our subjects!" she announced spreading her wings and raising her head high into the air.

Gohan stayed silent as her voice still intimidated him and slightly shivered as her Canterlot voice caused a burst of cold air to hit him. Looking down again the pony noticed the shivering Gohan was experiencing and mistook it for extreme fear.

"So thou is scared of the princess of night to?" her voice cracked and eyes started tearing up.

Snapping his head up Gohan looked at her worriedly as she started letting out small sobs. He didn't was confused about what to do, he had never made some cry before and guilt started hitting him hard.

Slowly walking over to her Gohan did the one thing that his mother used to do when he cried, before she turned on him. Wrapping his hooves around the ponies neck he hugged her and tried to quiet her crying.

"Please don't cry, I'm not afraid of you I just thought you were yelling at me" he said before letting go of her, watching as she dried her tears.

They both sat in the darkness of the hallway for a few minutes with only the light of the candles to provide light for them.

Deciding to break the ice, the pony tried to quiet her voice into a tone that was slightly gentler.

"What is thou doing in this hallway, should thou be in the courtyard to observe my sister Celestia raising the morning sun?" she asked hoping that he was telling the truth about not being afraid.

Hearing Celestia's name Gohan smiled and responded "Celestia is your sister, does that make you a princess too?"

Her face brightened as struck a royal post extending her hoof towards Gohan "Thou is correct for I am the Princess Luna." she said once again using her Canterlot voice.

Gohan looked at her outstretched hoof and did the most natural thing he knew and shook it.

"Well is thou going to reveal his name or continue to shake my hoof" Luna giggled as Gohan's face turned a deep shade of red.

"Oh yeah forgive me your highness, my name is Gohan" he said with a bow.

"Well Sir Gohan, We ask you again why are you not in the courtyard to observe my sister?" Luna asked curiously trying to figure out why a pony would bother wasting his time in a small dark hallway. Gohan thought about it and realized that the commotion he hear must have been the other ponies of the kingdom preparing to welcome the sunrise.

"I've been in the hospital for awhile and I don't know my way around the castle, so I stopped to look at the paintings on the wall." Gohan said and once again staring at the image of the light and darkness ponies.

Noticing that he was looking at the legend of discord she decided to enlighten him of the painting's history.

"Long ago a evil creature named Discord ruled the land. He enjoyed creating chaos, and making the lives of all ponies in Equestria a living nightmare. Deciding that he had to be stopped my sister and I found the Elements of Harmony and used them to combat Discord and turn him to stone. Seeing that Equestria was now without a ruler, my sister decided to make it our duty to guide Equestria into a time of prosperity and happiness. She ruled over the day and bathed Equestria in the warm sunlight, while I was given control of the night, and the bright moonlight." she finished and giggled at Gohan's amazed face.

Gohan had enjoyed Luna's story and imagined both of the princesses fighting the evil of Discord. Finally looking away from the painting Gohan eyes drifted to the other painting that showed what looked like a evil version of Luna being defeated by 6 ponies holding what Gohan assumed was the Elements of Harmony.

"Princess Luna, what about that painting?" he asked and raised his hoof and pointed to the painting.

Luna smile dropped as she gazed at the picture and slowly began to speak her sad story.

"This painting shows the story of my greatest shame. As I said before, Celestia ruled over the day while I ruled over the night. But I was always jealous of my sister because of this. Ponies all over the land laughed, and played in her warm sunlight while they slept through my beautiful night. One day I refused to allow the sun to raise and kept the moon high in the sky, which made my sister angry. We both fought each other, neither of us able to get the upper hand on each other. My jealousy and anger transformed me into a terrible and evil pony named Nightmare Moon. Realizing that I wouldn't stop fighting until only one of us stood the victor, my sister used the Elements of Harmony to imprison me on the moon cold and alone. For the next thousand years my sister took command of both night and day while I could only stare at my once happy home from the dark side of the moon. Earlier this year I had escaped from my lonely prison and came to seek my revenge. I was stopped by Twilight Sparkle and her friends wielding the Elements of Harmony and returned to my true from. I found that my return had became an unwanted one because no one remembered the once kind Princess Luna but only the terrible Nightmare Moon." Luna stopped talking as the painful memories came flooding back to her.

Gohan felt a wave of pity come over him as he listened to her story. In a way her story was just like his, one mistake leading to exile and hatred. But he also knew that while he had only been on the run for a few weeks she and been alone for a thousand years.

"It's not so bad right? At least you got to make up with your sister, I don't have a family to forgive me for what I did." Gohan said sadly and turned his face away her.

Luna frowned as she heard him speak. Wanting to knew what he was talking about she decided to press him on the issue.

"Sir Gohan what do you mean you have no family to forgive you?"

Gohan's eyes widened as he realized his big mouth had gotten him into trouble. Quickly thinking of a story he could tell Luna without completely lying to her.

"Well where I am from I was apart of a special team of monster fighter's. My father had finally had the creature on his last legs and was finally ready to finish him off when he decided to make me do it. I was really angry at the monster and wanted to make him pay so I dragged out the fight and toyed with him. The monster decided that if it couldn't kill me it would try to blow up everyone, by inflating it's body and the exploding. My father seeing no other way to save everybody gave his life to get the monster as far away from it as he could. After the monster was defeated my friends decided that I was to dangerous to live so they turned on me and tried to kill me. I ran for weeks trying to get away from them until I somehow ended up in a forest, when Fluttershy and her friends found me."

Gohan stopped talking and was silent for a few moments until he felt a large weight against his body. Princess Luna had embraced him in a tight hug, and softly kissed him on the cheek.

"It seems we both have had our share of hardships." she whispered to him and removed her hooves from around him. "Very well then Sir Gohan, I humbly request that we be friends."

Gohan smiled at her offer, not expecting someone of her rank to even think of wanting to be friends with someone like him. No words could express his happiness so he agreed with her by giving her a nod, and a warm smile.

"Well then my new friend, would you like to watch my sister perform her duty of the day?" Luna asked him helped him to stand from his seated position.

Smiling happily Gohan followed her as she trotted off down the hallway.

The noise of the courtyard kept getting louder and louder as they got closer and closer eventually pushing open the large doors that loud out to where the mass of ponies were collecting.

Trying to push their way through everypony that was there Princess Luna grew increasingly irritated. Gohan noticing her annoyance put his hooves over his ears as he prepared for the inevitable volume the princess commanded with her voice.

"STAND ASIDE MY SERVANTS, ALLOW YOUR PRINCESS AND HER FRIEND TO PASS" Luna spoke using her Canterlot voice. It obviously had the effect she was hoping for as they all bowed and moved out of the way forming a pathway right in the middle of them.

Motioning for Gohan to continue walking she led him to up to a platform with a large sun emblem in the middle of it. It was a interesting looking artifact and he wondered what purpose it served in welcoming the day.

He didn't have to think long before watching the Sun princess herself walk through the same place Luna had cleared out for them and taking her place right in front of the sun stone.

All of the ponies cheered as they were exited to witness Celestia perform her magical duty to the world. It made Luna slightly jealous though as hardly anyone ever cheered about her moonlight, in fact becoming Nightmare Moon made most ponies afraid of the night like it was some sort of plague.

Not wasting anymore time Celestia had begone the ritual by spreading her wings and flying high into the air. Answering Gohan's question about the importance of the stone, it glowed a fiery red. The light soon lifted off of the ground and combined with Princess Celestia, getting brighter and brighter with each passing second.

Gohan could feel the heat of the light taking away the small chill that accompanied the night time air.

After glowing for a few seconds Celestia had released the energy and everypony stared in awe has it rocketed high above the clouds and forming the sun in the sky. Sensing her job was complete Celestia gracefully lowered herself to the ground in front of Luna and Gohan.

The other ponies had started to file out of the courtyard to begin their daily duties leaving the two princess and Gohan remaining.

"So Gohan how did you enjoy the sun raising ceremony?" Celestia asked happy to see him out and about.

Gohan smiled and clapped his hands together. "It was amazing princess, I've never seen anything like it before!"

Princess Celestia chuckled and then looked over to Luna. "I see you have made friends with our newest guest, my little sister."

Gohan, and Luna both blushed as Celestia laughed at their blood-red faces and decided to have a little fun with them.

"Well Luna it looks like you have a date to tonight's Grand Galloping Gala, and here I thought you weren't going to come tonight." Celestia laughed seeing Luna and Gohan's eyes grow as large as dinner plates.

"Surely thou can not be seri..." Luna started but was cut off as Celestia spoke again.

"Now remember you two wear something nice tonight, and Gohan I am hoping the we can all get better aquainted with you tonight." she finished and left to oversee the decorations for the Gala.

Gohan was confused about what happened, and Luna could stand there with her mouth hanging open.

"Um...Princess Luna can you tell me what just happened?" Gohan asked scratching the top of his head. Luna was just as confused as he was but still attempted to give him a answer.

"Unfortunately my sister has a misguided sense of humor so for tonight we will be keeping each other company at the Grand Galloping Gala." she huffed trying to figure out what exactly her sister was trying to do.

"What's a Grand Galloping Gala?" Gohan asked.

Princess Luna shot him a weird look and answered "How does thou not even know about the biggest celebration in the kingdom?"

Staying silent Gohan only shrugged his shoulders and listened to Luna's explanation.

"Well Sir Gohan, the Grand Galloping Gala is a party that my sister throws once a year, where she invites all of the most fanciest ponies in all the land. My sister has saw fit to force the two of us to participate in the party this year." Luna finished as Gohan face dropped.

He had never been invited to a fancy party and didn't like the idea of being around fancy ponies he didn't know.

"Can't we just not show up to the party?" he asked hopeful that Luna would tell him they didn't have to go.

"DOES THOU HAVE A DEATH WISH! My sister banished me to the moon for a thousand years, and we would not like to return there." she said letting her voice raise and her usual speech pull through.

"You're right forget I said anything." said Gohan scared to think about being banished to the cold, dark moon.

"Alright friend Gohan, if we are to make an appearance at the Gala tonight then we must make our-self look presentable to all, when thou is ready to present thyself have one of my royal guards guide you to my quarters. And do try to find a suitable costume to wear." Luna said and retreated to her side of the castle.

Gohan sighed and returned to the room the he was most familiar with, surprised to see Fluttershy searching the room for him.

"Hello miss Fluttershy is something wrong?" he asked before getting knocked to the ground in a bone crushing hug.

"Oh Gohan I was so worried that something bad happened to you." Fluttershy cried her face buried in his mane.

Gohan was speechless, had she really been this worried about him. He would hate to see what happens when something really bad does occur.

"I was down in the courtyard with Princess Luna to see Celestia raise the sun up, it was so cool!" he said as Fluttershy finally let him go "Princess Celestia actually invited me to become Luna's date at the ball tonight."

All the color seemed to drain from Fluttershy's face as she heard the last part. "Nightmare moon, is your date tonight!" she almost screamed remembering how scary she looked when she escaped from the moon.

"She doesn't go by Nightmare Moon anymore, and it was Princess Celestia's idea for us to be each others dates for the night, I just wish I had something good to wear to the Gala." Gohan said looking down at his unclothed body.

Fluttershy thought about and the told him "Princess Celestia invited me and my friends to the ball too, maybe I can ask Rarity to make you a costume before they arrive tonight."

Not wanting to cause any trouble Gohan tried to decline her offer, but Fluttershy had already started to write a letter to Rarity telling her to bring her costume, and to also make a new one for Gohan.

"I will be right back Gohan, please don't go anywhere until I get Celestia to send this letter to Ponyville." Fluttershy told him and started racing off to find the princess.

"Good job Gohan not even here for a week and I'm already causing trouble." Gohan said to himself and waited for Fluttershy to return.

( Later that Day)

After Fluttershy had returned she told Gohan that Rarity had started working on a magnificent costume for him to wear to the ball (Princess Luna being his date had a lot to do with it...sneaky Rarity).

For the last bit of remaining time before the ball Fluttershy took the time to remove the rest of Gohan's bandages that were around his legs.

"There we go all fixed up." she smiled and placed the old bandages into a trash-bin in the corner of the room.

Gohan was glad to have those bandages off of his legs because the were making his limbs stiff. After thanking her for the helping him while he was injured, they both walked down to the castle gate to welcome Fluttershy's friends.

Fluttershy was on the lookout for the cart that Twilight had told her she had created with her magic. Sure enough being pulled by ponies came a large cart that looked like a giant apple being driven by a tiny dragon.

Stopping just outside the gate Fluttershy watched as each of her friends exited the apple each wearing a different costume hoof stitched by Rarity herself. Twilight Sparkle was the one to greet them as the rest of the ponies slowly made their way past the gate

"Hello Fluttershy how have you been in the last couple of days." Twilight asked and hugged Fluttershy.

"I have been really well, I can't believe Princess Celestia let me stay inside the castle for this long." Fluttershy at her good friend.

"And I see you're up and well Gohan" Twilight giggled at him as Gohan gave a small shy smile.

"Oh yes before I forget, Rarity finished both of your costumes and wanted to give them to you both personally...IF SHE CAN EVER GET THROUGH THE GATE!" she yelled back at rarity who was trying to find the best way to get through without getting dirt, or mud on her stylish dress.

"Twilight when are you going to learn that style is everything, I can't have the dress that I have been working on for days to become ruined before I even get into the party." she said with great sophistication in her voice "Ah Fluttershy and Gohan I have completed both of you costumes and spike will be bringing them along in a minute you must hurry and get changed the ball will begin any minute"

True to her words the dragon had pulled along two chests with both of the costumes in them.

"Um... Thank you miss Rarity I hope it wasn't to much trouble to make this for me." Gohan said grateful of the work Rarity had put in for him.

Rarity sweetly smiled at him "Think nothing of it Gohan, you are our new friend so it is only natural that we help each other out." she flicked a strand of her well combed mane behind her ear trying to get it to stay in place "Also I couldn't allow the date of Princess Luna to simply wear nothing."

Gohan eyes widened as he realized that he had forgotten about being Luna's date.

"Oh my gosh I almost forgot about that!" he yelled and grabbed the chest that was labeled for him and ran off to get changed.

Laughing at his antics RainbowDash couldn't help but say "Wow how did he ever get a date with Princess Luna?"

The other ponies all giggled along with except for Fluttershy who felt a tad bit jealous for some reason.

(With Gohan)

"Oh man how could I forget that I had to go find Princess Luna?" he said to himself as he finished putting on the outfit that Rarity had made for him.

He looked at himself in the mirror and admired exactly what Rarity had made. The front of his outfit was fashioned to look like royal armor that a knight would wear. It's color was made to match the flowing star pattern that showed in Princess Luna's mane.

The back was fashioned into a whitish gray design to completed the knight look and gave off a glow that looked as if the moon was shining from them. He noticed that a small area was cleared to show off his cutey mark. On his hooves were golden boots that looked extremely expensive. Finishing off the look was a small gold headpiece that resembled a crown.

The outfit was comfortable and lightweight so he wasn't upset about having to wear it, in fact he loved it because someone had actually taken the time to make such a wonderful costume for him.

Taking one last look at the chest he realized that one last item was left in the very bottom. Reaching down he lifted the last item out which turned out to be a bouquet of purple roses with a card stuck to it.

Opening the card he read the words out loud "Dear Gohan: The best way to a mare's heart is through a nice gift, simply give this to the princess and she will be yours. I wish you luck! Signed Rarity.

Gohan scratched his head for a second confused "What does she mean by she will be mine?"

He didn't have time to come up with a answer as he looked at the clocked at almost screamed " Oh man if I don't leave now the Princess will kill me!" sticking the bouquet in his mouth he ran to find one of Luna's guards to escort him to her chambers.

(With Luna)

Princess Luna was pacing around her chamber's with a small frown on her face.

"Where could Gohan be" she nervously asked no one in particular "maybe he thinks me ugly and does not wishes to show his face with mine."

Walking over to the large mirror that she had been standing in front of for the last several hours she tried to make sure her outfit was okay. She had used her own magic to create the clothing she now wore.

A long flowing dress that mirrored the night sky filled with stars covered her body. Her hooves had all been painted a dark blue and each contained a circle of diamonds in the shape of a moon. Her tiara was outfitted with the finest jewels in all of Equestria and sat perfectly upon her head.

"Maybe he is afraid of me and ran away." she spoke sadly and lowered her head to the ground.

Almost lost in her sadness she almost didn't hear one of her guards knocking on her chamber door. "What does thou require of me?" she yelled at the door before the voice of a guard answered back.

"A visitor requests to see you your highness, he said he is here to escort you to the Gala."

Almost running to the door she opened as fast as she possibly could allowing Gohan to step into the room.

"I'm so sorry princess, I lost track of the time...I um... got you these." he struggled to get out before presenting Luna with the beautiful bouquet.

Slightly blushing Luna accepted the flowers and went to find a vase to put them into.

"Thank you Sir Gohan, We must say you look very handsome." she said as she slowly walked around Gohan causing him to blush shyly.

"Thank you princess I think you look wonderful to." he said causing a equally red blush to appear on Luna's face.

Luna smiled at him before moving towards the doorway leading to the Gala "Come Gohan, if we are to get there on time we must get there with great haste."

Following her happily Gohan followed her as the made their way to the party.

(At the Grand Galloping Gala)

Princess Celestia was quite proud with the preparations of the Gala. She had invited her greatest student and her friends as a way of showing thanks for their hard work and defeating Nightmare Moon and restoring her sister to her true form.

Speaking of her sister, Celestia was wondering what was keeping Luna and Gohan away from the party.
She was getting worried that neither of them would show.

Her whole reason of setting them up to go together as so both of them could get used to the company of others. Her sister had been out of touch with the ponies of Equestria for the last millennium, and she was certain from what Gohan had said about his home that he didn't make many friends.

Suddenly the royal guards announced the next guests of the party. The head guard pony to a deep breath and sounded off loud enough for everyone to hear "Please Welcome her highness Princess Luna, and her date Sir Gohan!"

Everyone turned their attention towards the two ponies walking into the ballroom and bowed as they passed by, some of them still fearful of the memory of what Luna used to be.

Walking pass the guests and making their way up the stairs to where Princess Celestia was located Gohan and Luna started chatting with the sun princess.

"Well Gohan I can see miss Rarity has created such a fantastic costume for you, and my sweet sister your costume is wonderful as well." Celestia spoke praising how well they looked.

Gohan smiled at her comment and thanked her, Luna on the other hand remained silent and gave only a slight nod.

"Thank you for inviting me to your party princess, it's a great honor to be here." Gohan gleefully said and bowed to her.

Celestia was glad that she invited him, he reminded her of herself when she was a young filly. Gohan was such a charming boy, and reminded her of feelings that she had not felt in a very long time.

"Gohan it is a greater honor to invite one's friends to the party, it would not be right if I didn't make you one of my special guests and I'm pretty sure Luna is glad to have you as her date for the night." Celestia giggled as she say her sister turn red and tried to stutter out a defense.

"Dear sister... thou just can't s-say such p-private things out loud. Those are one's inner feelings and they shouldn't be broadcast out loud." Luna said while trying to control her embarrassment.

Celestia grinned as she realized Luna had just inadvertently confirmed what she had just said."So you admit that you are glad to have him as your date instead of some other colt?"

The red on Luna went from a light shade to a complete crimson as her sister pushed words into her mouth. Quickly turning away from Celestia, she took off fast away from the two "We must have a drink, we are burning up!"

Celestia's giggles turned into full blown laughter as she watched her sister gulp down glass after glass of punch.

Gohan was confused about what had just happened. Had Celestia caused Luna to reveal some kind of personal truth, and what did it have to do with him?

"Princess Celestia can you please explain to me what just happened because I am so confused." Gohan asked.

"Tis nothing Gohan, just a little sibling rivalry." she tried to pull back her laughter as she muffled herself with her hoof "Why don't you go enjoy yourself, I have a feeling that Luna is going to be really thirsty."

Gohan nodded and walked into the crowd. Looking all around the room he tried to find Fluttershy and her friends somewhere in the room.

After walking around for a few minutes he heard a voice call him, turning around he saw Twilight Sparkle sitting with her friends. Walking over to them they all started conversing with him.

"Wow Gohan it seems the costume I made for you was perfect, do you like it?" Rarity asked waiting for the critical feedback that she thrived on.

"I love it Rarity, it feels so comfortable and I love the effort you put in to make it look like knight's armor." Gohan said hoping his answer was what she was looking for.

The self-satisfactory smirk on Rarity's face told him it was. Applejack was more impressed with how fast Gohan had recovered from his injuries.

"Are you sure you are fixed up partner? Not many ponies could have taken the beaten that you went through and still be up and kicking." she asked and pointed to a small scar that was showing on the left side of his cheek.

"Don't worry about me Fluttershy did a very good job at patching me and taking care of me for the last couple of days." Gohan replied giving all of his thanks to Fluttershy.

"Well Fluttershy it looks like you have miracle hooves." said Twilight Sparkle clapping her hoof on Fluttershy's back.

The shy pegasus pony blushed and smiled at everyone "You don't have to thank me Gohan, I just did what anypony could have done."

"Aww Sugarcube you gotta give yourself more credit, I don't think anypony at this table could have done a better job at sewing someone back up like you. Applejack praised her and raised her glass of punch in the air.

Gohan could see that these were the closest of friends that there could possibly be. It made him think of the days when he had friends that he could call on for support, but sadly those days were long over.

Noticing Gohan smile turn into a frown Pinkie Pie jumped up from her seat and tried to cheer him up. "Don't worry Gohan we will find those monsters that chased you away from home and teach them a lesson!" she said and gave him a hoof tap on the arm.

Gohan smiled but shook his head at her "It's okay I don't think that I will ever return to that place ever again. It's really far in the forest and I had no one be friends with."

Fluttershy couldn't believe it, he was offered the chance to return to his home and he refused without giving it a second thought. She realized that something besides a few monsters made him not want to return.

They sat in the company of each other for about ten minutes before they all left to fulfill their reason for being at the Gala. Applejack was running a shop selling various apple food products, Rarity was chasing after some fancy looking pony with a brown mane, Pinkie Pie was trying to bust a move on the dance floor, Fluttershy was chasing after some woodland creatures that she kept seeing run away from her, RainbowDash was hanging out with some ponies in flying costumes, and Twilight Sparkle was in her favorite place...right by Celestia's side.

Gohan was by himself so he decided to find his date. Somewhere in the time he had started talking with the girls Luna had wandered away from the punch dish. He found her after a small search of the ball room on the upper level watching the other ponies from the upstairs balcony.

Walking up to her he placed his hoof on her shoulder startling her.

"My word Gohan how long have you been there?" she asked hoof placed on her heart. Gohan figured that he must have startled her and apologized to her.

"I was just wondering why you were up here alone instead of with everyone else?" he asked pointing to the rest of the ponies having a good time.

She lowered her head and sadly replied " We stay up here alone because we do not think they would enjoy my company."

Gohan was saddened about how the princess felt as if no pony cared about her.

"I enjoy your company princess...I KNOW!" he announced "how about we go down there and dance with each other?"

Luna looked at him surprised. He wanted to dance with her, even after knowing of her evil past.

"Thou should not poke fun at me, no creature wants to dance with one such as me." she said and was prepared to walk away until Gohan grabbed her hoof.

"I'm serious princess let's go down to the dance floor, I am your date after all aren't I?" Gohan said his face turning serious but soft as he continued to pull her towards the direction of the other ponies.

Luna was surprised that he had been able to convince her to actually dance with him, but his face was a mix of love and determination.

As soon as they were were in the middle of the dance floor they proceeded to lift up onto the back of their legs and placed their hoofs on each other shoulder's.

All of the other ponies observed them and followed their example as the DJ changed the song to a slow romantic one (Just imagine your own slow dance music I really do not want to put the lyrics of a song into the fanfic).

Luna was surprised at the gentleness Gohan showed when moving back and forth with her. She had danced with only one pony before her imprisonment and she remembered it didn't end well for her hooves.

Gohan was a different story though he was careful, smooth, and was trying to make the dance memorable for her.

She started to wonder if what Celestia had said was true. Was she right in guessing that Luna was glad to have Gohan for her date. She could feel a warmness in her heart the mad her feel magical, it made her feel safe like she belonged and not some evil creature like everypony thought her to be.

Looking to the top of the balcony Luna could see her sister smiling warmly at her. She could honestly say that she was glad her sister made her come to the party, the feeling that Gohan had made her feel inside made her want to try harder to earn the love of the people.

Gohan was feeling the same burning feeling inside his chest too. He had never thought about the opposite sex romantically, so these feelings that were rising up inside of him exited him. Princess Luna was filling a empty spot in his heart that he didn't think was possible to fix.

But it wasn't just Luna that was causing the strange feelings for him, his thoughts soon drifted to two other ponies that were also at this ball.

His thoughts drifted to the first of the other ponies. He remembered the tender care she had given him when they had first met, her kind words made the pain of losing everything seem not as bad as she cared for him. Fluttershy's love had found another empty spot inside his heart that was begging to be filled.

The last pony was the complete opposite of Luna. She had treated him with such kindness and respect that he couldn't help but allow a feeling of love to wash over him blending all of his feelings into one.

These three ponies who he had just met captured his heart in a way that no one else has ever done before.

At this point he didn't care about losing his home back on earth all he cared about was keeping his new home safe, and his new friends happy.

As the song came to a end both Luna and Gohan let out a satisfied sigh and reluctantly released their hold of each other.

"Well Gohan we than thank for being my date, but unfortunately I must perform my duties of the night so I will have to cut this night short." she said disappointingly and started to walk away from the party.

"Wait will I see you tomorrow?" Gohan asked sad to see her go.

Luna stopped and turned her head back at him gracing him with her best and kindest smile "We feel that we will see much more of each other in the coming days." and continued walking off to raise the moon and stars.

Smiling softly Gohan walked up to the stairs to rest next to Celestia and Twilight.

Princess Celestia and watched the whole thing and was eager to hear of Gohan's impression of the night so far.

"Did you enjoy your dance with Luna?" she asked him as Twilight moved closer to hear about the night princess.

"Yes your highness I enjoyed dancing with her, I just wish she didn't have to leave so soon." Gohan sadly said scooting his hoof along the ground.

"Do not worry yourself Gohan, my sister lost much after being imprisoned on the moon. To see her smile while she was dancing was a wonderful sight indeed." Celestia finished as her eyes watered slightly.

Twilight Sparkle hugged her teacher as she tried to calm her down "Don't worry Princess I'm sure Luna will make many friends now that she is back in Equestria, she just needs the right people to help her." looking at Gohan as she finished the last part.

Celestia tears dried as she heard her student's words "Yes Twilight you are right as long as she has the right people to guide her then she can truly be happy."

Celestia walked over to Gohan and wrapped her hooves around him.

"Thank you for showing her what it feels like to be cared for."after she finished her words Celestia leaned down and placed a soft kiss to the side of his face.

Gohan blushed as his cheek felt warm. Twilight Sparkle was surprised about what the princess had done but understood why the princess had kissed him. To Celestia it was her way of expressing her love without completely giving herself up.

She knew that her sister needed love more than she did at the moment. But that didn't mean that she would give up wouldn't compete for Gohan's love as she also knew that another pony besides her and her sister was interested as she could noticed Fluttershy eying Gohan from across the room. Who knows maybe they could all have a happy ending.

For the time being though they would have to buy their time and wait.

(Two hours later)

The Grand Galloping Gala was finally winding down as the majority of the guests left to return to the homes. Sitting at a large table in the empty party room Gohan, and the other ponies were chattering away.

Gohan laughed as the all recalled the stories of the night's failed adventures. Twilight Sparkle let out a exhausted sigh as she finally decided to speak the truth.

"I can't believe how dull the Gala actually was!" she said before slapping her hoofs over her mouth as Princess Celestia had walked into the room.

"Well my little Twilight the Gala is always dull, that is why I invited you all I was hoping you could spice things up a little." She laughed as spike decided to wake up from his junk food coma.

"NO thank you princess, I think your chef's did a job of spicing up the food by themselves" spike groaned and rolled over onto his stomach.

The ponies all laughed at Spike as he continued groaning on the ground.

"Well all my friends I think it is time for you all to return to Ponyville, I did so enjoy your visit and hope you will come back to visit more often." Celestia smiled and walked them all to the carriage.

"Wait princess what about Gohan even though he has healed he doesn't have a place to stay in Ponyville?" said Fluttershy not wanting to leave Gohan homeless.

"Gohan will be staying at the castle with Luna, and I." said Celestia answering her question.

"Oh...i see" said Fluttershy her eyes turning sad. Celestia noticed that she was sad about having to leave her new friend she decided to make a deal with Fluttershy.

"Do not worry, Fluttershy if you desire to come see Gohan then I can arrange transportation to the castle... as long as you all promise to assist Luna in becoming reacquainted with Ponyville.

Fluttershy face exploded into hapiness as she heard Celestia's offer. She could tell that the other ponies happy to help Luna in exchange for access to the castle whenever they wanted.

Waving goodbye to his new friends he watched as their carriage took off for Ponyville. Looking at the back window of the apple carriage Gohan could see Fluttershy staring right back at him with a smile on her face.

Raising his hoof up Gohan gave her a special wave just for her causing her to smile and return the gesture with a special wave of her own.

Gohan and Celestia eventually returned inside of the castle as Gohan let out a might yawn.

"Well Princess I think it's time for me to return to my bed for the night, thank you for inviting me to the party." he said and started walking off into the direction of the hospital wing.

"Gohan where are you going? I had a room made just for you, so you wouldn't have to sleep in the dark old hospital." Celestia said and led him off to the direction of his new room.

Coming up to a Jet black door with gold trim, Celestia pushed it open and showed Gohan in.

The room was large, able to allow 4 people to live in it without bumping into one another. There was a king sized bed in the right hand corner of the room, that came complete with blue and red blanket set. A large window presented itself behind a luxourious curtain that looked to be thousdands of years old.

"Princess...I don't think I can accept this room." Gohan started to say before being shushed with hoof to the face.

"Gohan I have told you before that you are my friend, and as my friend I will do my best to make sure that you stay as happy as possible." Princess Celestia assured him " Alright Gohan I will leave you to your rest, if you have need of me simply asked my guards to allow you entrance to my quarters. Good night and sleep well." she hugged him once more and then retired to her chambers to rest for the night.

Gohan climbed into his new bed and started thinking to himself.

"Why does she treat me so well? Celesta has been so kind to me yet I continue to lie about my true origins...but if I tell everyone about the real me they might hate me and I will be alone again." the thought of everything being taken away again caused tears to form in Gohan's eyes as he laid he head down and tried to sleep the bad thoughts away.

(With Celestia)

Celestia laid upon her royal bed trying to piece her thoughts together. Thanks to Gohan her sister had found someone she could trust and be friends with, and Gohan had managed to awaken the hearts of three lonely ponies.

Maybe Gohan didn't have to choose between them. She was the ruler of Equestria after all so she could allow Gohan to have as many mates as he wanted, but the question would Gohan agree to love all three of them without showing favoritism between them.

Realizing that only time would reveal the answer Celestia laid her head down and began to dream of her friends and the wonderful life that they all helped her create.

Chapter 4: Discord Strike


Gohan woke to the sun peeking through his curtains. Yawning loudly he threw his hooves over the side of the bed and walked over to the window.

Pushing it open Gohan stepped onto the balcony breathing deeply. The air was strangely sweet almost like candy. Taking another breath Gohan tried to remember exactly what the smell reminded him of.

"Oh I what that is it's choc..." he didn't get to finish his sentence because of a black rain cloud covered in a chocolate rain shower. Returning inside he shook himself "What kind of cloud drips chocolate?"

Leaving his room he started to wander the castle observing strange things that were happening. The guards were currently pecking at the floor like chickens, the maids were sword fighting with feather dusters, and the chefs were break dancing on the tables.

Gohan was confused with their behavior. Was some kind of the crazy party going on that he didn't know about. Walking into the throne room, he saw Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna standing there with serious looks on their faces.

"Princess Celestia what the heck is going on?" asked Gohan. The princesses turned around surprised.

"Gohan, thou has not gone crazy?" Luna said rushing forward to hug him.

"What do you me I haven't gone crazy, did something bad happen?" said Gohan looking at Luna as if she had grown a second head.

"Gohan have you not noticed the strange things going on around the castle? It can not be coincidence that all of these ponies have lost their minds all at once." said Celestia as she tried to pinpoint the cause of the madness.

Gohan thought about it for a second, and remembered something.

"Princess what if the same thing that's happening here is happening in ponyville? Maybe we should write a letter to Twilight to find out?"

Celestia nodded as she used her magic to quickly write her message and then sent it as fast as she could to spike.

They waited in silence for about ten minutes until finally with a poof the reply appeared. Celestia opened it and dropped her jaw as she went read through the message.

"What does it say sister?" asked Luna eager to learn of Ponyville's status.

"Nature has gone crazy! The cloud's are raining chocolate milk, animals are growing strange new limbs, entire buildings are floating upside down!" Celestia gasped out her eyes growing wide.

Gohan was just as surprised "It's like the whole land has fallen into chaos."

Celestia and Luna both looked at him as if he had said something crazy. "What did you just say!" the both spoke at the same time.

Gohan looked down at the ground and said "I said that it's like the whole land has fallen into chaos."

Just as soon as he finished his sentence both Luna, and Celestia took off with great speed through the castle doors. Confused, Gohan chased after him as fast as he could.

The two princesses ran into the castle maze and expertly made their way through the many twists and turns of it while Gohan was doing his best to keep up with them.

After a few minutes of running they had all stopped at a collection of stone figurines.

Princess Celestia face darkened has she noticed the destroyed remains of a very special statue.

"This is impossible, how could he escaped!" said the sun princess as Luna placed her hooves around her sister in a strong embrace.

"Don't worry sister, we beat him once and we shall do it once again!"

Gohan could tell that whatever had escaped from the statue was going to be trouble. "Princess please tell me who has escaped, and how it is tied to what is happening?"

Celestia tried to regain her royal stance not wanting to appear weak in front of Gohan.

"Gohan the creature who has escaped from captivity is the very cause of the madness that is now flowing through the land. He is the very source of chaos and destruction, and took both of our powers combined with the Elements of Harmony to beat. He is the spirit of chaos Discord!" finished Celestia as lighting flashed through the sky.

Seeing the pained look on both Luna and Celestia's face Gohan jumped up with a serious face.

"Don't worry Princesses, I will do everything in my power to help you beat him!"

After hearing this Luna became worried. She could still remember the damage their battle against Discord had caused, and the lives of their brave soldiers that had been lost. She wouldn't even begin to think of letting Gohan fight Discord.

"Gohan this is too dangerous for one such as you, it is our responsibility to stop him so we must handle him alone." said Luna looking at Gohan seriously.

He was about to disagree with her but he heard many hoofs running at full speed toward them.

"Princess!" came the voice of Twilight Sparkle "What the heck is going on!"

Turning around Gohan could see that each of them looked like they had been through the ringer. Pinkie Pie had been drenched in chocolate milk, rainbow dash and applejack looked like they had been trampled, and Fluttershy and Twilight sparkle looked so confused.

"Twilight Sparkle it seems you and your friends have all witnessed the strange events that have been occurring this day." said Princess Celestia still staring at the broken remains of rock on the ground.

Twilight Sparkle could tell by the look on Celestia's face that she knew what was causing all of this. "Princess if you know something about all of this then you must let us know too, maybe we can even get things back to normal.

Princess Celestia looked at her with a troubled face "Yes my young student...I indeed know the cause of all this. It is something that I have been fearing for so long. It is the one being who has the power to rival both mine and my sister's power. It is the spirit of disharmony and chaos...Discord!"

All of the ponies faces were shocked, they had only heard of Discord in old ponytails, and legends. To know that he was the actual cause of the calamities was troubling news indeed.

"But princess I thought that you and Princess Luna had sealed him away forever, how could he possibly escape?" asked Twilight

Celestia was not able to answer because before she could speak laughter could be heard coming from the castle. It was a loud mocking laughter that chilled them all to the bone.

"Everypony to the castle, we must make great haste!" commanded Celestia turning on her hooves and galloping as fast as she could. They all followed her lead and sped off behind her as the sound grew louder and louder.

As soon as they had arrived the laughing stopped. They were all on their guard just waiting for something to happen.

Princess Celestia knew that the silence was a unspoken insult by Discord, he was watching them just waiting for a opportunity to pick them off one by one.

"DISCORD SHOW YOURSELF!" yelled out Celestia anger clearly showing on her face.

The room was silent for only a few moments after until the familiar laugh rang out again.

" Oh Celestia have you missed me as much as I have missed you?" asked the spirit of chaos himself taking the form of a stone figure in a painting.

"Discord how did you get free, this doesn't make any sense!" yelled Celestia still trying to piece things together.

"Make sense? Oh, what fun is there in making sense? You have no idea how boring it is being imprisoned in a stone statue. Then again you have no way of knowing because I don't turn ponies into stone...usually!" said Discord moving from painting to painting.

Celestia only gave a annoyed growl before turning to everyone else "Everypony follow me we must get to the Elements of Harmony!"

They all took off down the long Corridor trying to keep up with the furious sun princess. Her mind was spinning as questions filled her head, How did Discord manage to break free of his imprisonment, how did he manage to cause so much damage in just a few short hours, and how hard would he be to capture again?

Coming up to a large door Celestia quickly inserted her horn into the small hole in it. Gears and locks could be hear moving until after a very loud click the doors slowly slid open revealing the treasure inside. Taking the small chest from inside Celestia turned towards the others.

"Listen all of you, ever since Luna and I first imprisoned Discord thousands of years ago we have been connected to the Elements of Harmony. Twilight... when you all worked together to defeat Nightmare Moon the connection that me and my sister shared with the elements was broken and passed on to the six of you. The responsibility of Discord now lies with each of you. Inside the this box lies the Elements of Harmony, take them and defeat Discord once again." she finished and opened the chest.

All of the ponies gasped as they gazed into the box. Looking down as well Celestia soon knew why they were shocked. The Elements of Harmony which were the most powerful artifacts in all of Equestria were gone.

"HOW CAN THIS BE?" Celestia screamed her face frozen in confusion. The look was soon replaced with anger as she realized why they were gone "Discord show yourself this instant!".

Letting out a maniacal laughter the Spirit of Chaos answered her call "You rang princess?".

"Discord what have you done with the elements of Harmony!" spoke Celestia angrily.

Discord continued to shift from one painting to the other before stopping on the painting of the elements.

"Oh you mean those old things I just borrowed them for a little bit for my little game." Discord laughed as he pointed to each of the elements in the paintings before they all vanished in thin air "if you beat me I'll give back the elements, but if I win then I get to control Equestria for all of Eternity!"

Gohan's face grew angry as he watched Discord continue to laugh and mock his friends. Charging straight for the painting that Discord was standing in Gohan yelled out "You'll never get away with this!".

Quickly disappearing from the painting Discord laughed as Gohan made contact with the empty wall. All the ponies rushed to his side quickly helping him to his feet.

"Gohan are you okay?" asked Celestia placing a hoof around his body. Gohan nodded and softly brushed her off with a small forced smile. Luna was angered by Discord's tricks and she proceeded to use her Canterlot voice to yell at Discord.

"DISCORD WE WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO HURT OUR FRIEND GOHAN!" her body started to glow a dark blue showing that she was furious.

"Ah Princess Luna back from the moon I see, let me ask you one thing if you knew about your...friend Gohan's true origins would you still stand by him, or avoid him like the plague?" Discord taunted her as Gohan's eyes grew wide with shock.

Luna was confused "What are you talking about!

"Oh your little friend Gohan didn't trust any of you to know about the real him, but I can read his heart and memories and I assure you it is nothing to be proud of." Discord smirked at Gohan noticing that his face was horrified "What's wrong Gohan afraid that everypony would find out about you, how about I show them exactly what you really are!".

With a snap of his fingers the spirit of chaos lifted Gohan into the air and covered him a purple ball of energy. The others could only watch as they could hear Gohan's screams of pain inside the ball.

"Discord stop this and release him!" Celestia yelled as tears formed in all of their eyes.

"Not yet Princess! I think that you should see your little Gohan in a new light!" Discord laughed as the ball slowly lowered itself to the ground before smashing harshly into the ground.

Dust and smoke flew into the air blinding everyone into the room. When it all cleared a large pile of rubble filled the spot where the ball had impacted.

"GOHAN!" they all yelled before pulling the large rocks from the pile. They didn't have to pull rocks long though because with a large grunt Gohan through his arms up flinging rocks to all corners of the room.

Taking a minute to lift himself to his feet he looked down and realized a very important change. He no longer walked on four legs but on his own two feet, his front hoofs morphed into hands, and his spiky black mane went back to it's original appearance. He was once again dressed in the tattered training Gi he was dressed in during the cell game but the top half had been destroyed leaving his chest and arms completely visible to anyone who looked. The last thing that completed his look was the symbol of the four star dragonball that looked as if it had been tattooed into his skin. He was human once more.

Turning around he looked at his friends, his face saddened seeing the looks on their faces. The two princesses were the first to make a move as they both approached him before Celestia chose to speak.

"Gohan is this the real you?" she spoke not in anger but in wonder, she had never seen a being such as him before.

Gohan only nodded and stared at the ground.

"Why didn't you tell us that you weren't a pony?" asked Luna. She felt a little hurt that her first and only friend didn't tell her what he really was.

Gohan still stared at the ground but gave a small response "I...was afraid you all would hate me."

His answer rendered them all speechless. Their new friend was afraid of losing them, so he kept the real him a secret.

"Gohan after this over we will all have to have a very long and detailed discussion about this new turn events." Celestia said and once again turned towards Discord who was on his back laughing on the ground.

"Oh this is just too funny, none of you even knew that he wasn't a pony. Oh well I guess it's time for my little game. Alright wielders of the Elements of Harmony listen to my riddle. Twists and turns are my master plan. Then find the elements back where you began." Don't take too long my little ponies!" He yelled out just as he disappeared.

Twilight Sparkle thought about the riddle for about 2 minutes before looking out the large glass window into the castle gardens. "Wait a minute, Twist and turns...he's talking about the castle maze I'm sure of it!"

"Hold on just a minute Twi, how do you know that the elements are gonna be in that old maze?" asked Applejack.

"Because he said find the elements back where you began, Discord escaped from the statue in the garden where the maze is, it has to be the answer!" said Twilight confident that she was right "Princess will you be okay here while we go look for the elements?"

Celestia nodded and said "Yes Twilight Sparkle, I will remain here with both Luna, and Gohan but please hurry we do not have much time.

Twilight nodded and took off with her friends to the castle maze.

"Um..Gohan?" a voice said causing Gohan to look up. Fluttershy had stopped running and stood before him yet again "Listen I know that whatever reason you had for not telling us must have been important and I know that you are a good person, so before I leave..." lifting herself onto the back of her hooves Fluttershy leaned up and gave Gohan a quick peck on his lips. "Please be safe." she blushed and then galloped off to join her friends.

Celestia grinned before brushing against Gohan's side "You see Gohan your friends care more for you than you thought...always remember that." Luna soon brushed against his other side before both walked off to inspect the damage that discord had caused so far.

Gohan's mind was conflicted. On the one hand he had betrayed his friends trust by not telling them about the real him, on the other hand they still cared about him. He was also thinking about Fluttershy's kiss and how she might have feelings for him.

Once again things in Gohan's life have become complicated.

"Gohan is thou coming?" called out Luna looking at him worriedly.

His inner thoughts would just have to stay quiet right now at least until Discord had been imprisoned again. With that Gohan ran off after the two alicorns.
