Princess Celestia decides to give an old friend a second Chance... but is she right to do so?
Everypony knows about Discord the mischievous spirit of chaos, but what they don't know is he wasn't always a draconequus. He was once a human named Russell and a friend of the princesses. But that was a long time ago before he descended into madness and chaos. This is the story of how a princess seeks to redeem him with the help of a certain yellow pegasus.
This is a fan work of Mr Stargazers monster which can be read here ( if you haven't read it you should its amazing ). This story is based on the events of keep calm and flutter on but from Discords perspective.
As she often did after lowering the sun, Princess Celestia decided to take a walk around the grounds. Officially this was to clear her head after a day of listening to tedious affairs of the day court. While this was in part true.The actual reason was because she adored listening to the sounds of Lulu's night. The crickets chirping in the grass, the soft hoot of an owl and of course the distant roar of the Canterlot waterfall. Tonight, she decided, is a great night to walk the hedge maze. As she neared the entrance a voice called out " Halt! this area is of limits to all o-o-oh your majesty" he stammered, as Celestia came into view" forgive me I mistook you for a civilian" " That's quite alright Sergeant" Celestia said, waving a hoof to show no harm done. " But I am curious how did you mistake me for a civilian?" the princess asked. " Its dark out your majesty, I heard hooves approaching, so I issued the standard warning." He said, having regained his composure
"Ah, I see, well please stand aside so that I might continue my walk." Celestia said
She then cracks a smirk "I promise I won't release Discord." "Yes ma'am." He said, moving off to the side and saluting as she passed by."Enjoy the rest of your night. "And you as well sergeant." And with that Celestia entered the maze. The first few minutes few minutes passed by in a blur with Celestia lost in her thoughts. Her thoughts were interrupted when she came to a fork in the path she did not recall. This momentarily threw her through a loop until she remembered that thanks to an ingenious piece of magic, the maze was constantly changing. This of course was why she placed Discord here so it would be much harder for anypony to find him. "After all"she thought,"we wouldn't want a repeat of what happened when those three fillies found him."
The only reason she knew of this event was because he had told her when he had finished corrupting my student and her friends.
"Discord how did you escape?" She asked when the draconequus had suddenly appeared before her. "You were suppose to be sealed away unto the end of time.
"Its really a funny story Celestia," Discord said, there I was minding my own business when, suddenly three fillies started fighting in front of me, and wouldn't you know it the disharmony of the fight allowed me to escape.
"the next time your imprisoned I shall place you far away from anypony then" Celestia had said
"There won't be a next time Celestia, I have taken your six little ponies and thrust them into disharmony, now your oh so precious elements of harmony are nothing but tacky pieces of jewelry." Discord said, " now nothing can stop me, ahhahahahaha!"
And with a snap of his claws he had disappeared. Celestia continued on, deciding to take the right path at each juncture. One hour later she emerged into the heart of the maze. Discord, stood before her, bound in stone with a look of terror upon his face. Indeed, his pose looked almost pitiful, not like the defiant stature he’d assumed the first time he’d been imprisoned. "Hello...Russell."she whispered using Discords true name, a name which had not been uttered for millennia. As she sat down on a nearby bench, she pondered the being before her. He was not always as he was now. Nay, in ages past he was once a kind and gentle stal- no not a stallion a... What was that word again? Man, she remembered, that was what male humans called themselves . He was a kind and gentle man once, as well as a friend to Luna and herself. Celestia thought back to the day she first found him, lying in a field not far from the castle. He seemed so weak and helpless, so she had decided to look after him and nurse him back to health. She recalled how Russell had struck up such a rapport with Luna. Celestia being the older of the princesses and therefore the main ruler of the land, thought it wonderful that her sister had a friend to spend time with while she was busy with the affairs of state. Then came the day he fought the pegasus. She started distrusting him as she came to understand he was as weak and helpless as she had once assumed. In addition she noticed a budding relationship between Luna and Russell, this served only to deepen her distrust. She was sure this was not a matter of to much concern. "After all" she rationalized "he's just a mortal and in time he'll die and be forgotten." So she contented herself to wait. She waited for months, then years, then decades, she realized he was not going to die anytime soon. Her distrust deepened further. She took solace instead in the fact that he was just one being and could never truly pose a threat to her realm. That all changed when Russell began to manifest his strange powers. She started to become truly fearful of him since he now had the ability to threaten the diarchy, whereas Luna took endless delight in watching him create, warp and destroy matter for hours on end. In hindsight she realized she should have helped him learn how to control his power, instead of letting Luna encourage him to use his powers freely and without consequence. Maybe then perhaps that poor stallion might not have died. She knew now of course that she should have given him a chance to explain his actions. Alas, back then she had been so sure that here was the validation of all she had come to suspect, that without a second thought she assembled the armies and gave chase as he fled. When she caught up with Russell she found him sitting on a stone throne staring at a glass of chocolate milk. Luna called out to him but he seemed not to hear. She thought back to how utterly furious she was then, how she couldn't wait to drag him back to the castle and lock him in the deepest darkest dungeon for all eternity.
Fate however had other plans. What happened next still haunts her nightmares, Russell's body began to twist and reshape itself into a jumble of different animal parts, it was in that moment, she theorized, that the Russell she knew truly died, replaced by Discord, the self proclaimed spirit of chaos and disharmony. Celestia shuddered, the next thousand years were to unspeakable to even imagine. Next Celestia recalled her and Luna's final battle with Discord after discovering the elements. How he had laughed as we summoned a set of stone orbs, how that laughter had turned to panic as the light struck him and began to turn his body into stone, and how most disturbingly, that panic became laughter once more. What she didn't know was having to imprison her former friend destroyed Luna's spirit making her susceptible to the darkness. A single tear rolled down Celestia's cheek as she remembered having to seal her sister in the moon, an act she always regarded as her greatest failure. Hope was not entirely lost however. A small smile appeared on her lips as she thought about how Twilight Sparkle her most faithful student, and her friends had rediscovered the elements and cleansed Luna of the shadow in her heart. And yet, a frown took the smiles place, she still catches glimpses of Luna looking forlorn and melancholy when she thinks nopony is watching, it's almost as if she misses somepony... Suddenly Celestia has an idea. "That's it!" she exclaims leaping to her hooves. " I know how to fix lulu's mood as well as help you Russell. She says walking up to the statue. " Fluttershy." She states simply. "Yes that should do nicely and although I know you probably can't hear me I promise you will be yourself again real soon." She announces to the statue. And with that she turns and begins to make her way out of the maze, a plan coalescing within her mind, as well as a realization that her plan has made her words to the guard earlier a lie.
Unbeknownst to her, within his prison Discord has heard her.[j]
Boring so utterly, utterly boring. At least during my first imprisonment Celestia had placed me in the statue garden and I could watch the comings and goings of ponies. Not this time. No this time Celestia had seen fit to place me in the center of a maze, the same maze in fact that I had corrupted those six irritating ponies in. She probably thought this was sort of poetic justice. I never should have told Celestia that it was those fillies fighting in front of me that allowed me to escape. I guess i was over confident with my defeat of her heroes and thought myself unstoppable. Now all I have to watch is the occasional bird fly by. How could I have been so careless as to be beaten by six mares. I should have noticed at Rainbow Dash had come back. I should have noticed their coats were no longer grey. Next time I get out of here I'm sending those accursed elements to sun, how's that for poetic justice. Suddenly I hear the sound of hooves clopping this way. How exciting, a visitor. I stare at the entrance as the sound grows louder. Then who should come in to view but Celestia herself, come to gawk no doubt. "Hello... Russell." she said, as she sat on a bench and stared at me. Russel, that name really takes me back, back to before I was everpony's favorite chaos bringer, back before I came to Equestria, back when I was human. I remember jumping out of the plane feeling the rush of wind against my face, the adrenaline pulsing through my veins, and the pure joy of living life. As I continued falling I reached for the parachute cord, pulled it, and nothing happened. I frantically began yanking on it only for it to come off in my hand. I tugged on the auxiliary only for the something to happen. I realized I was going to die and there was nothing I could do about it. A calm acceptance washed over me, I had a good run, I lived life to the best of my ability. As the ground came ever nearer a thought came to me " I wish I had done more." Then I reached the ground, and the world turn black. Pain, such terrible pain. As I came back into consciousness the first thing I saw was my arm bent at a weird angle, I tried to move it only to be met with the feeling of being stabbed with a thousand knives. As my vision fogged over I saw a winged figure descend towards me. "An angel?" I thought as unconsciousness took me. I awoke in an unfamiliar room, feeling exhausted though I had just woken up. I felt a terrible achy feeling allover, but through trial and error I found I was able to move my arm as well as my other limbs, though when I did the ache increased. As looked around the room I noticed the bed I was lying in was surrounded by a curtain, this must be a hospital I reasoned. Suddenly the curtain was enveloped in a glowing purple light and was thrust aside. Standing there was a pink pony with a horn on its head wearing a robe. "Ah, thou art awake, very good." the pony said in a soft feminine voice. "Great, just great Russell," I mumbled to myself " your hallucinating pink unicorns talking in archaic forms now." " I assure thee I am no hallucination." the unicorn stated. "Of course you are." I said "watch my hand will go right through you." I reached out, and my hand poked one very real unicorn in the chest. " AAAAAHHHH!!" I screamed, bolting from bed and knocking the unicorn aside. I ran though the hospital doors and into a hallway. I continued running thinking of nothing but escape, then I turned a corner and ran head first into the majestic creature I had ever seen. She looked like the pony from the hospital only larger and lankier, she had a beautiful dark sapphire coat, the prettiest cobalt blue eyes. Like the pony from earlier she had a horn but in addition she a set of wings. Her most striking features though were here ethereal mane and tail, they blew in a nonexistent wind and seemed to be made of stars from the heavens. It was then that my fatigue caught up with me and I passed out. I awoke in same bed sometime later. I found that my arms and legs were tied to the bed, loose enough that I could still move them but still enough to prevent my escape. I then noticed that the winged unicorn from earlier was staring at me. "Salutations we are the princess Luna diarch of Equestria." she belted out, in the same archaic wording as the unicorn before, causing me to duck beneath the covers. "Why didst thou cover thine head with thine blanket?" she inquired. "Your voice is very loud, I said peeking out from the covers, "could you talk quieter please?" "But tis traditional to use the royal voice when we address others." she said "Please?" "Oh very well." she said clearing her throat. "Wouldst this volume pleaseth thee?" She asked "Yes thank you." I said " what doest thou calleth thine self?" she asked "Russell" I stated simply "Russell." She repeated, "very good, thou undoubtably need thine rest so I bid thee goodnight, I will have words with thee upon the marrow."
The next day I met Luna's sister Celestia who explained that I was in Equestria, a diarchy populated by ponies that came in three types, earth pony, pegasus pony, and unicorn. She then explained the type of horse she and her sister were is called an alicorn, and that they were in charge of controlling the day and night. She went on to say that unless her mages could find away to send me home, I was to remain a guest at the castle.
Over the next few weeks I spent a lot of time with Luna often spending my days with her. I noticed that the ponies around me often gave me looks of contempt and distrust, and though that hurt, I was sure that they would warm up to me in time. Then one day a group of pegasi stallions cornered me. As the leader charged me my instincts took over, I sidestepped the pegasus and at the same time grabbed him in a headlock, and soon he fell unconscious. Coming to my senses I dropped him and backed away.
"I-I-I'm sorry." I apologized
The pegasi stallions, fear evident on their faces, grabbed their fallen comrade and raced off, leaving me standing there tring to make sense of what just happened.
"Russell, we hath heard a commotion, what hast happened?" Said a voice off to my side
I turned and saw Luna standing there looking concerned. I told her what had happened.
"It was an accident, I'm sorry, please don't hate me." I pleaded
"Why wouldst we doeth that?" She asked "twas an self defense, besides we art thine friend we wouldst forgive thee regardless."
"We're friends?" I asked
"Aye." She said, giving me a hug.
And so our friendship blossomed. So the weeks turned to months, months turned to years, years turned to decades, decades turned to a century. It was then that I realized I was immortal a fact that, though unnerving,meant that I could spend an eternity with Luna.
It was at this time that something extraordinary happened. I was sitting in the garden thinking about how much I wanted some chocolate milk, when a thought suddenly came to my head.
"Why not just make some?" the thought asked.
"Because that's impossible." my rational mind responded.
"What are you saying, that it is impossible for matter to break apart?"
"Of course not. That happens all the time."
"Oh then you must mean it can't be put back together."
I smiled, this was the most interesting thought I'd had in years.
"Well of course it can."
"Ah good. Then it is only logical that a chocolate milk could appear before us right now."
"I suppose so."
There sitting in the grass was a glass of chocolate milk, after a few moments of hesitation I took a drink. It was amazing. I immediately ran to tell Luna about this incredible occurrence. Once I reached her room I banged on the door, after a few seconds she answered.
"Salute Russell what doest thou need?" She asked "If you could have anything in the world right what would you what?" I asked excitedly "A hay sandwich." She said I snapped my fingers and one appeared in front of her. "How didst thou doeth that?" She shouted in the royal voice " I don't know I just discovered that I could." I responded " change that dresser into a tree" she said
I did. "Maketh that table disappear." Snap, it did.
"Huzzah, we must showeth mine sister!" She exclaimed We made our way to the throne room to show Celestia who immediately called in her wisest sages. They studied and tested me for quite sometime but were unable to determine the source of my powers. Celestia with concern on her face said that I should remain in my room until this was straightened out. Over the ensuing days and weeks Luna visited me every day and I entertained her with my powers. Soon Celestia's concern turned to distrust and fear, and she began to hate me. In addition to that another of the pony races started to hate and fear me. The unicorns, who had long been content to sneer at me confident in their superiority, feared me now that I could do magic no unicorn could explain. That hurt me greatly. Luna noticed my pain and the fear of me in the dreams of the ponies. This caused her to become depressed and sad. I couldn't stand to see her like that so without a second thought I snapped my fingers and caused every cloud to rain her favorite drink, chocolate milk. The smile on her face as she flew off to drink the falling milk made my spirit soar. It was then that realized that I loved her and wanted to spend the rest of eternity with her.
A few days later I made my move. While we were sitting in my room I leaned forward and kissed her on the lips. At first she started to pull away but then she started to kiss me back. When we finally broke apart she blushed and ran off. I was on cloud nine and went to bed feeling like the happiest man whoever lived. Then came the worst day of my life.
I was walking down the hallway when I saw them. Luna and a stallion kissing, my heart filled with thoughts of rage and betrayal, without thinking I snapped my fingers. And the stallion turned to chocolate. Luna looked from the stallion to me a look of horror on her face then she turned and ran screaming away. What have I done, what have I done?" I cried. I then did the one thing I could think of I ran. I ran out of the castle, through the village, then across the fields. Eventually I stopped and made stone chair and some milk, and sat and tried to make heads or tails of what had happened. Soon Luna and Celestia came but they hadn't come alone, they had brought the army. Luna called out to me but I didn't really hear her, all I heard was the army chanting. " death to Discord, death to Discord!" They chanted. I closed my eyes and thought what did I do to earn their hate? I've only ever tried to earn their friendship,yet from day one they've hated and despised me. They've never even taken the time to get to know me.
I then experienced a funny feeling all over my body. I opened my eyes and looked down and was met with a surprise, I had a paw now. I looked at the rest of me, my other arm had become an eagle claw, my legs had become a donkey's hoof and a lizards claw. My body had lengthened and was covered in fur and ended in a snakes tail, my head had become a horse's with two mix and matched horns, a pair of wings one feathery and one leathery completed the change. I looked out at the army and saw their fear had reached new heights, I looked at Celestia and saw nothing but a cold hatred in her eyes. All I ever wanted was to be liked and now they hate me more then ever. Then another thought entered my mind what if I am their fears made real? Would that not be justice? Yes that would if its a monster they see a monster I shall be, I shall take the name they have given me and make it mine. It was then that the me that was Russell died replaced by Discord the lord of chaos. I stood looked at the army amassed against me and smiled. With a snap of my claw I turn their weapons to baguettes and brainwashed half the army into fighting the other half, it was deliciously chaotic. I then teleported over to the princesses, I then noticed that my new form towered over them. "Russell what hath happened to thee." Luna asked "I am no longer Russell I am Discord the spirit of chaos and disharmony, and you my dear princesses are hereby banished from my new kingdom." I said, summoning a giant baseball bat. "Arrivederci!" I shouted, hitting them over the horizon and laughing uproariously. Over the next several centuries I really hit my chaotic stride. I created a wonderful blue flower that causes the most hilarious effects on those who touch it. Another thing I am proud of was a curse that gave ponies multiple cutie marks, each of which they were forced to act upon until they passed out from exhaustion.I learned how to turn ponies into their antithesis using nothing but words, a way infinitely more satisfying the just forcing them to change. Alas, as they say all good things must come to an end. One day while I was watching a pony try to plant a wheel, the princesses returned. "Discord your reign has come to an end!" shouted Celestia "Oh really Celestia have you forgotten how effortlessly I defeated you last time" I retorted crossing my arms. "We hath found a power capable of defeating thee." Luna said, as she and her sister summoned a set of stone orbs. "What are you gonna do throw those at me?" I asked laughing. They didn't respond instead the orbs began to glow and then fired off a rainbow that struck me in the gut. My laughter died and was replaced by panic as my body started to petrify. Then a vision came to me, Celestia wielding the orbs against a dark and corrupted Luna sealing her in the moon. I started laughing again striking a pose as the process completed, knowing my foes would defeat themselves.
"That's it!" Celestia shouts leaping to her hooves, and startling me out of my reminiscence. "I know how to fix lulu's mood as well as help you Russell." She says walking up to me. "Fluttershy." She states simply
"Yes that should do nicely and although I know you probably can't hear me I promise you will be yourself again real soon." She says
Oh but I can hear you and the fact that you think that pegasus who's afraid of her own shadow can bring back Russell is hilarious, after all Russell is as good as dead, he'll never be back. But that pony is kind and trusting to a fault, maybe I can use this to my advantage, in fact I believe I can. The perfect scheme then comes to mind.I can help but laugh. Ahahahaha!!
"Today's finally the day." I think to myself, "Soon I shall be free."
A month had passed since princess sunbutt had first come to visit, and in the time since she had returned several times. She just sits and stares, usually during this I imagine all the fun stuff I'll do once I'm out. Maybe I'll make Celestia allergic light and Luna scared of the dark, oh I know, I'll make it so every time a unicorn uses magic their horn will go limp and make a fart sound or perhaps force everypony to talk backwards, there're so many possibilities.
Soon Celestia rounds the corner to the heart of the labyrinth. "Alright, let's get this show on the road." I think. But then she does something that surprises me, she apologizes.
"Russell," she says, "I want to tell you how sorry I am, to tell you that I truly regret treating you with such fear, distrust, and hatred all those years ago. I should have tried to help you when the little ponies first started to dislike you. I should have told them that though you may look different then them that doesn't mean you don't have a heart and feelings, and that all you really wanted was to be accepted. Alas, I was caught up in my own distrust of you, I was so worried at the way you so easily defeated that pegasus, how you very nearly killed him. I was certain that you would shatter the fragile peace that had only recently come to the land after the uniting of the tribes and the founding of Equestria. I realize now that the fact you stopped and that you tried to apologize proved that you weren't a threat to the diarchy, I'm sorry, you were my friend I should have known better."
She pauses, takes a deep breath, and then continues. "But most of all I'm sorry for my even greater folly, the way I reacted to your powers. When they manifested I went beyond simply disliking and distrusting you, now that you could potentially destroy Equestria I feared you. I should have tried to help you understand your abilities, I should have stopped Luna from encouraging you to use your powers frivolously and without consequence, instead I became wrapped up in my fear and paranoia and for that as well I am sorry. I realize that I was a combination of my fear and the ponys hatred that drove you to become what you are now. Indeed, Luna was the only thing keeping you sane, and when you saw Luna kiss that stallion you lost everything and turned to darkness. I am so so sorry Russell. I want things to go back to to how they were. Luna truly misses you, we both do. Please try to find it in your heart to forgive an old fool her sins. Well let us be going." And with that she envelops my statue with a magical aura and carries me out of the maze.
"Well that was unexpected." I say to myself. Regardless there no way I'll ever forgive her or the little ponies. Maybe the weak sappy fool I once was would but I'm not him anymore, I've grown past all that sentimental stuff. What a fool I was trying to get the ponies to like me, I should have realized its better to be feared then loved. And as for being friends again we were never friends she hated me right from the start. Luna's betrayal was even worse she pretended to like, to love me, all the while undoubtably laughing behind my back. I'm glad I discovered her treachery otherwise I never would have discovered my true calling, chaos, wonderful, beautiful chaos. Forgive them? Heh. If anything I should thank them.
Soon we exit the maze, there waiting for us are two chariots. Celestia sets me down in one boards her own, and off we go. The whole way down I'm on pins and needles. Soon I'll be free and if I'm lucky I'll swipe the elements right off the bat, if not that's what plan B is for. The trip passes fairly quickly and soon ponyville comes into view, and with it four of those irritating mares. Oh the look on their faces as Celestia shows up with me in tow is classic. For awhile they just stare, eventually twilight approaches.
"With all due respect Princess Celestia, How could you bring Discord here"?!, she shouts in a close approximation of the royal voice, kids got quite a set of pipes. She clears her throat. "Your majesty." "I'm fully aware that the last time Discord was here he created serious havoc." Celestia states " If by serious havoc you mean turning Ponyville into the chaos capital of the world" Rainbow Dash starts. "And tricking us into being the opposite of our true selves" Rarity continues. "And making yummy delicious chocolate milk rain all over the place without a single dollop of whipped cream to go with it anywhere in sight! Not a single dollop! Pinkie Pie finishes. "Yes I understand." Celestia says. "But I have use for Discord's magic if it can be reformed to serve good instead of evil. ""Don't kid yourself Celestia you want to ease your guilt nothing more." I think. "This is why I've brought Discord here, because I believe that you are the ponies who can help him do just that." Celestia continues on. "This will never work! How will we ever control him?! We're doomed! Spike screams. "Need I remind you that you are the ponies who turned him back into stone like this in the first place?" Celestia asks. "I suppose we can just use the Elements of Harmony against him again if it gets out of hand." Twilight says. "W-w-we probably need a volunteer to run away from here right away to get them. I'll do it!" Spike says, obviously trying to get away from me. "No need Spike." Celestia says as guards carrying the chest containing the elements walk towards the group. "Excellent now as soon as I'm out I steal them, and I'm home free." "I've cast a spell so Discord can't take them and hide them again." "Oh well so much for plan A. Doesn't matter plan B is more fun anyway." "Now where is Fluttershy?" Celestia asks, "I believe she may know best how to begin reforming Discord." "Fluttershy? Really?" Rainbow Dash asks "Yes, Fluttershy." Celestia confirms. "Would you please fetch her Rainbow Dash?" "Of course your majesty" she replies and then flies off.
For the next few minutes nopony speaks, they just sit and look nervous. Then twilight breaks the silence. "Princess is there nothing we can do to make you change your mind?" She inquires. "No twilight there is not." Celestia answers,"Furthermore, my faithful student, I expect you to trust me just as I do you." That quiets her right and she then sets looking embarrassed. Soon Rainbow Dash returns with Fluttershy and Applejack in tow. Oh the look on Fluttershys face when she sees me, she very nearly faints. "This is the pony Celestia is putting her faith in?" I think to myself, "What a joke." Celestia then proceeds to explain her plan to Fluttershy. "And you really think I'll know best how to do that?" She asks once Celestia finishes. "I do." Celestia tells her "Now", she says mounting her chariot, "I must return to Canterlot for Equestria's royal summit. You may release Discord when ready." And off she goes leaving Twilight and her friends alone with me "Ok ponies guess its time to get started." She says opening the chest and levitating the elements to their respective bearers as they form a circle around me, "Let's just hope this releasing spell works." "Or lets not." Spike says fearfully "We'd best keep our elements on at all times until further notice. Twilight says "Check." All her friends reply The elements start to glow and Twilight and friends float into the air, soon a rainbow begins to connect them together. "Ok show time, bring it on ladies." The rainbow connects and fires out at me, my statue cracks and I'm free. "AAAAAHHHH,oooh, well it's about time somepony got me out of that prison block, what a relief." I say, yawning and stretching. I snap my claws and turn a squirrel in a nearby tree into a surly brute, and giving him a tattoo for good measure. "What do you think your doing?!" Twilight shouts. "Why stretching of course. When you're a creature of chaos, stone bodysuits aren't your typical fashion choice." I respond, as I continue stretching and snapping my claws once more to deform a bunny. "Make that bunny cute again! Now!" Pinkie Pie demands. "Oh, he's adorable the way he is." I say, going over and scratching him under the chin. The little bugger then try's to bite my paw. "Do you know what else is adorable?" I ask turning back to the group. "You ponies truly believe that you can reform me, and that you're putting your faith in this one here to make it happen. "Being turned to stone doesn't keep me from hearing every word Celestia says." I tell her, "Although" I pull out my eyes and roll them around in my paw, "I admit it makes rolling my eyes a challenge." I roll my eyes across the ground and back into their sockets. "Well unless you want us to turn you back to stone, you'll zap those animals back the way they were pronto." "Oh, you wouldn't dare turn me back to stone and risk disappointing your precious princess." I retort "Try us dip cord." Rainbow Dash says "You think you can treat poor defenseless animals like that and get away with it?!" Fluttershy shouts "You go Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash encourages "You'd best watch your step buster or I'll give you The Stare!" She shouts, flying up into my face. "The Stare? Oh no, please, not that! Anything but your disapproving eyeballs!" I say in mock fearful tones. Fluttershy then kicks on The Stare. "That's it?" I think, "That's the infamous Stare? It's pathetic!Oh well might as well yuck this up for all it's worth." "Oh no! No no no, stop! No, no!" I scream, pretending to choke, "I can't! Stop! I can't take it anymore!" I shout' looking defeated, "I'll do whatever you say! Because" I then burst out laughing. "Your hilarious!" "If it turns out we need to use our elements against you, I'm sure we can convince Princess Celestia it was for a good reason." Twilight states. "Mmm... I suppose that's correct." I concede. With a snap I turn the animals back to normal causing the squirrel to knock its self out with the branch it was holding over its head. I shrug and smile, then while they're all looking away I snap my tail and brainwash a group of beavers.
"Well stage one is done, on to stage two."
" Well, it looks like I know where I'll be crashing while I'm being "reformed" I say, teleporting Fluttershy into my arms, "with you Fluttershy." I give her a noogie and laugh.
"Oh dear." She squeaks
"Let's go everypony." I say. I teleport us all to Fluttershys cottage.
"Well,I say," poofing on a pair of sunglasses, a Lei, and an aloha shirt, "this looks like a wonderful place for a vacation. At that moment Fluttershys pet bunny comes out. He takes a look at me, screams,runs to Fluttershy and chitters at her.
"Yes I know Discords here, he's going to be staying with us for awhile." She says. He chitters again.
"No, I haven't gone crazy, princess Celestia wants me to reform him." She responds More chittering.
"I'm sorry that make you upset, I'll tell you what I'll make your favorite salad to make you feel better." She says Chittering.
"All right two." She concedes
"Well now that that's settled, take my bags won't you porter." I say, conjuring a set of luggage and dropping it on Angel. I head inside laughing to myself.
