I didn't enjoy this chapter as much as I did the one before, mostly due to Ditzy's characterization.
Not so much I thought it was out of character, on the contrary. I think it was too unoriginal. I was kind of hoping you'd add something new to the mix, but it's the same cliched, bad childhood, always being treated maliciously because of her eyes Ditzy everyone does.
However, I will continue reading because I do have faith in this story.
I'm just gonna say it: I find Ditzy really annoying. Her obsession with the Doctor and the fact that she is so certain he will fall for her make her sound selfish and her constant bouts of depression don't help.
I'll follow this story, but I'm torn between liking and disliking.
3910695 Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately it is difficult to write Ditzy without going to the character the fan base has created. I am trying to create her with more depth, the roller coaster of doubt and up lift is part of it. An individual who uncertain of their own abilities will often suffer from their self doubts and try to latch onto something else to bring the bring them out of their slump. A constant up and down.
As for the Doctor obsession she meets who she believes is the stallion of her dreams, naturally she has put him on a high pedestal. She fell in love with the Doctor from the books and has transferred that emotion to the Doctor made flesh. Ditzy believes she understands him and therefore can get him to return her feelings.
I am always willing to listen to thoughts and ideas on how you would like to see Ditzy. Though the character has been made I am never against a helpful hoof.

Ah, I can see where you're coming from. Please don't mistake my comments for hate, because I do think this is really well done, and I do think it will turn out well in the end. Also, I tend to be angrier than I mean to be sometimes, and don't understand others' actions very well.

It's not that I don't like her....
...But I guess on Twilight's side it's more interesting, like a sort of Mystery type of thing...
It's good, in all.
It will be a shame if Derpy is not in the story
but if the story benefit of that ......do it.
I dont think that Derpy is out of character , she is just a dreamer that see the Doctor like something that border between a personal fantasy and the reality and she want to enter so much in a fantasy come true.
