De Writer

After a long dry spell, De Writer has sort of returned. I am now writing again. Watch this space for more new tales and more chapters of the latest

T

Although few think of it and fewer still look deeply into the matter, there were ponies in the land BEFORE the events celebrated in the Hearthwarming Pageants. What happened to them? How was the land empty and yet filled with the good things that enabled the ancestors of Equestria to survive?

Heather Bloom knows. She lived through those terrible times. Love Poison did more than create the Changeling kind. Those who, with help, survived as the Poisoned became the Heart Keepers of her people.

Tam lost his beloved Annie to a Failing O' the Lairds in the far northern dales and has Heather Bloom serving as Heart Keeper to him, sustaining him in his grief.

Irish ponies? This calls for a drink!

Thanks. I have seven chapters written. I am still feeling my way on how to use this site. The original text DID have spaces between the paragraphs. I do hope that it has potential. I have the remaining chapters plotted and have done some draft work on them.

I also have a stand alone tale, once the characters of Tam and Heather Bloom are solidly introduced. It tells the tale of Hearthwarming Eve from a slightly different viewpoint.

2451539 Oddly, you hit the nail exactly on the head. The head of the Barly Beer that they will get from Cherry Mocha at the Pink Note.

Vengeful Spirit: Thank you for your comments. I have edited the tale to take care of the spacing issue. I found and fixed a few grammar issues too.

Several that appeared to be such proved to be the result of the mashed form. As I did comment, the original text did have the spacing between paragraphs. Somehow that failed to survive introduction here. I will watch for that problem in future posts. I will look over Kalara for similar problems and fix them.

Again, my Thanks. De Writer

That definitely counts as a mare that is not a mare

Seems to be a lot of history there for them eh

2473733 There is indeed a lot of history there. You will see more of it later, I assure you.

I think those who are going to have a lot of fun.

I love how the complaint is that the place is too good for the amount charged.

I refuse to allow this example of the dreaded typo to live on in this story any longer!

I have fixed the spelling of Celestia. Thank you for noticing it.

Bronzedragon: It is right that you are indeed but for one detail. At Chapter 3, Tam is no more able to play a true note than a stone grow wings and fly! That said, the wonderful piping in the video is absolutely what he intended!
