Obvious German

I'm a writer mostly into gritty, down-to-earth war stories with all their gruesome details and the like. Also, crossovers are apparently the only thing I can write about, doesn't stop the fun there.

On the last throes of the battle of the Shield World that held an armada of Forerunner Dreadnoughts the Covenant wanted to activate, a ragtag sortie of soldiers and armored vehicles known as the 'Hell's Jesters' are unknowingly left behind as the planet falls apart. When a certain figure intervenes at a cost, the members of the group land in Equestria, scattered and very hostile to almost everything, on an unlikely mission to save a world again while battling their inner demons.

With an onslaught of disastrous events, can the Jesters live up to the fulfillment of the Lifeworker who had sent them here and stop the impossible?

Glad to see more stories involving Halo Wars anything else. This looks like a fun read.

Yay! Snowdrop and Rarity AI! :yay:

M9 MAATs, or as commonly designated as the Wolverine, was the premier anti-air combat support vehicle in the arsenal of the UNSC.

You gotta fill me out here, the only Wolverine from an RTS I know of is the Wolverine Mk.II from C&C 3: Kane's Wrath. :twilightsheepish:

Well, now...

Keep going with dis shit, yo!

The battles that Luna saw, in order, are from Star Wars, with the Death Star going kaboom, Warhammer 40K, orks and either Chaos Space Marines, Blood Ravens, or a group of Titans on a battlefield, the third is Halo, possibly Reach or Harvest, and the last is obviously Mass Effect.

Now here is something I can get into. I don't care to much for most Halo crossovers, but I can appeal to this since it is Halo Wars, and I really do like that game. Like the way you incorporated several of the ground and air vehicles, along with the troops. I was a little suprised you left out the Cobra and the Vulture, but I can also see how that would be overkill. Great start non the less, and I will not be able to keep up with the Mass Effect parts, beings as I never touched the game.

Can't wait for the next chapter :pinkiehappy:

I really liked this chapter, nice pacing.

“We made them, we made the Reapers,”

*C&C 3 F4NB0I MOD3 ACTIV4ET* (Ignore please :twilightsheepish:)
Oh f*ck, not Reaper Tripods!

Strangely enough, that cover image reminds me more of a certain Warhammer 40K meme than anything from Halo. It took me a bit to recognize Master Chief there... :twilightblush: :rainbowlaugh:

Tank beats everything.

“Yep, it seems like we’re in your paradise now, with a bad start.”

Welcome to paradise, bitch! :flutterrage:

Good chapter. Thouroughly written, though my only complaint was the lack of seperation. You were jumping minds a lot, and sometimes were not describing it fully. Other than that, very good. Keep up the great work.

good job shooting that grenade, had it dropped then there would be some very crispy ponies right then and there

I have to stop picturing the ODSTs like this:
and start picturing them like this:

But the GDI Commandos are cooler!
Shut up Solo, I have to picture them correctly!
Fine, have fun without using your imagination.

DUDE, Please continue this awesome story! I love it! :pinkiehappy:

This is a plot I am really lovin right now.

Nicely done, mate! Looking forward to the rest of this story!

Sorry-not master chief. The paint on the armor(the red) and it being Halo Wars specific story and vehicles means that is either Jerome or Douglas(SPARTANs in Master Chief's generation/class) I'm pretty sure it's Jerome. 2464432

Take your time. Don't worry, it's not like i'm waiting or anything...:pinkiecrazy:

When is next chapter ?
