Hmm...nice one. Slightly clichéed, but then again so is 99,5% of all fanfiction ever written. And you write for one of my two OTP's, so how can I fault you for spreading the love?
But yeah, story liked and tracked, and I hope you'll continue it since you seem to have a good talent for pacing and for reasonable outparceling of emotion and action. Come to think of it, I think I'll throw in a watch too. Keep up the good work.
One critique, though: don't know how fond I am of the linking taking place throughout the text. Both because it breaks flow if your reader is unfortunate enough to be curious, and also because you don't need it. You're descriptive enough, and your descriptions hardly ever veer into being messy or inadequate for the reader to form their own mental images. Just my two cents.

One away from 1,000 total views, and this is still my most popular story. Interesting how time flies, but I wish everyone would give my other works more of a chance. Well, to be specific, my one other work, seeing as the others aren't posted anywhere yet... but still. This is a good average, especially for such an old fic with so many fundamental flaws in the writing.
How old? Come September, this story will celebrate its first anniversary.

One of the first shipping fics I read, and definitely a good one! Came by to reread it and it was every bit as D'aww inducing as the first time. As for your blog question thing, I'm not sure I understand - this might be getting a sequel, that could potentially not be Appledash? Why not just write a different story altogether? Sorry, this probably doesn't help you at all, I'm just a little confused. Anywho, excellent story

Nevermind the blog post. I figured out what I'm going to do. I wanted the "sequel" to take canon into account whenever possible, try and write the characters around canon, and in general, try to write a realistic story. Not a quickie done for the fun of it, like this one was.
When I finish the "Sequel", this page will be updated to reflect that fact. In the meantime, don't worry about it. Worrying about it is my job, no one else's. Except perhaps my editor. But that's a little different.
Frustration abounds! Very well written, the sensation of longing was quite spot on and defiantly something to look forward to. Will be keeping my eye on you. In the not a stalker way.
Why do you write so well, the story is awesome, the characters are good in my opinion, and this is one of the best things I have ever read. I need more pony emoticons so I can express my love for this story visually with my words.

I don't think I'll ever do a proper 'sequel' to this story, meaning a story that uses this one as the basis. I do, however, have a spiritual sequel in my head, along with a truckload of notes and chapters and other things. It's one of the many, many projects I plan to complete one of these days.
But until then, I have other stories I need to work on. Currently, I'm working on
an Adventure/Romance,Daring Do and the Greyfeather Prediction,Edit: Greyfeather was taken down for editing and reworking.
Anyways, I really appreciate all the love this little story's gotten over the years, and I hope you'll continue to read what I write in the future too!
Wow. That was probably one of the best fics I've ever read. I can't believe I didn't find this sooner. And the music choice was excellent. I really, really hope to see hope to see more on this or even just something that revolves around it, because this was pretty powerful.
