Interesting start, but the immediate question that comes to mind is; why doesn't Daring Do remember being captured or have any idea who was behind it?
Then again, this is a Daring Do story. Logic probably doesn't come into it!

Okay, this is surreal. On Ponychan, someone made a thread asking people to make up their own Daring Do stories (since it's a series) and I suggested "Daring Do and the Pearl of the Sea Ponies."

Geez, I'm the first person to comment on this fic in over a decade. It makes for quite an eerie thought if I dwell on it for too long.
It's a shame this story never got any further than its second chapter. Perhaps it's just the ol' Streisand Effect kicking in, but I really would've liked to see where you took the plot beyond this opening. Nevertheless, the 1.6K words you did manage to publish made for a fun little read! I'm more than happy to give this a thumbs up — a gesture that finally grants the story its well-deserved, long-overdue 10th rating.
