Tanner Cleff never had much luck when it came to mares. His social awkwardness often thwarted even the best attempts of his wing-pony and trusted confidant Cooper.

So when the seemingly perfect moment presents itself to steal a duty-free kiss one St. Patrick's Day, Tannor takes his chance.

Very nice!
Excellent writing, and that was a nice touch with the song in the middle there.:pinkiehappy:

You deserve a moustache (or two).:moustache::moustache:

So... Why did she go for him? I'm not asking for a sappy romance, I'd just like to know her perspective.

I remember The Rocky Road to Dublin. Get jiggy wit it. :P :moustache:

The Rocky Road to Dublin is a slipjig, bhuachaill.

2419355 First time I've ever heard the phrase. Huh. Somethin' new every day.

2419389 Yeah, sounds about right. Got a decent collection of teh Irish tunes in my library.

There are few things more pathetic than kids who listen to ear-raping Bostonian metal and call it Celtic. Synth-dripping New Age is more "celtic" than that trash.

I couldn't help but think of "Fairytale of New York" all the way through reading this.

Sláinte! Excellent story!

I agree, needs more Lyra-perspective, especially after the Irish Devil setup.

A little late, but not bad, I only skimmed though, sorry.

Every time I see your avatar I die a little from diabetes on the inside.

2421705 I'm already dead.

Love that picture. I can see Lyra dancing those Irish dance moves. I forget what they are called, but I know that the dance has a lot of leg movement.

Finally a holiday special fic. Been looking everywhere for one. :flutterrage:

2434567 u mean a jig or the Irish river dance? i do both but very poorly

Is the song a real song???

Cooper's blood chilled at the sudden silence. He didn't even need to see it, he knew Tannor had gone trhough with the kiss.

The correction of this small typo would improve this already admirable work.

Always nice to see Lyra and Bon Bon as only housemates.
