much as I like the story and concept, I have a bit of trouble with the dialogue. it seems a bit too descriptive, a bit too flat. it doesn't have that proper natural flow that speech tends to have. it sounds a bit like the characters are speaking directly to the audience to make sure they understand the situation, like, if it was an actual episode, you might catch their eyes flicking towards the camera, like they were trying to gauge the reaction of those watching. a good way to remedy this kind of thing is to think in your mind if you yourself would ever speak that way. also, this wasn't a problem so much in your story, but I've seen fantastic authors who've lost the attention of their fans by forgetting to properly punctuate their stories, so remember to not slip up on that. lastly, make sure your pacing remains the proper speed.

The reason the dialogue was like that (and I'm not saying this to hurt the original author's feeling's) is because this story is a continuation of the one by bricann. She gave full permission to copy/paste the chapters she already had, and make changes to them. I will do my best in future chapters to make sure the dialogue is better written.

Is there any reason why Twilight's alicorn form has two different descriptions between the two chapters? The first chapter said she had a dark lavender coat with her normal mane color and her mark was "a faint moon with bright stars surrounding it", but in this chapter her coat is a teal-grey, her mane is a darker shade than normal, and her mark is a solar eclipse

Nice chapter. That dark magic that escaped, is it the embodiment of Nightmare Moon? Meaning Nightmare Moon and Princess Luna separate and Shimmer Eclipse and Twilight Sparkle who has gained a life of her own (still an immortal alicorn however) separate, into separate beings. Then you could have the new forms try to retake control before being defeated.
