2818534 Oh, most definitely. It's funny, really. My favorite pairings that aren't lesbian ships are Sweetie x Spike, Scoots x Pipsqueak, and Apple Bloom x Rumble. Then again, the situations Cerulean1313 put them in makes them so much cuter for it. As for my fave ships, Cherry x Moonie is definitely in my top 15, but Twi x Pinkie will always be my #1 lesship, and not because its ship name is "Twinkie."

2818642 Eh, like I said. Actually, Spike x Bloom used to be a ship I liked, but the way Ceru does his Spike Belle is actually good. Rarity is pushing him towards Sweetie, and as he's growing up, he's realizing that there's no true way of being perfect, and he's happy to be friends with Rarity. And now that Sweetie's coming onto him like a fly on honey...
But anyways, yeah. I usually don't like Spike ships except for two stories that have actually been readable.

2819218 I feel sorry for the little guy. He always gets all this flak, and for what? Basically being a side character? He's no better than Twilight's familiar at this point, and the three episodes he's had to himself have just been out of character for him. He's never shown greed until Secrets to my Excess, and the same greed is what drives him through the episode where he's trying to make the gem cake. Greed and Gluttony. The third episode has him being a complete screw-up the entire way through, while in every other episode he's shown as being competent. Sure, he fell off a ladder once or twice, but those were almost always Twilight's fault, not his own.
I don't understand the hate, but a fic about Sweetie, Cherry, and Moonie having a tentacle orgy with a Maredragora probably isn't the right place for a convo on it.

He's incompetent and his infatuation with Rarity is retarded. He's only ever used as an outlet for people to insert themselves into a story when it's romance. He adds nothing to the show. If he were not there, then nothing would change. Twilight can write her own lists with magic like she does with everything else.
