SpinelStride

T

The Crystal Empire sleeps beneath the ice and snow of the north. The Lost Heart lies somewhere in Equestria. One small border outpost escaped megaspells and glaciers alike, and there the last waking descendants of the Crystal Ponies do their best to survive on the edges of the Wasteland. Their hopes lie with the Searchers - those rare ponies whose destinies are tied to finding the Lost Heart.

Spinel Stride is the first Searcher in two generations. With no clues to go on, all he knows is that the two curved black lines on his flank are telling him his destiny. To find the Lost Heart and fill that empty space inside. But even if he finds it, where can he find the love of a princess to make it shine?

And who is this odd little pony he keeps bumping into?

Oh i wonder where this story is going to lead...

It's kinda disappointing that this story was stopped. it's the first fallout equestrian story that I ever tried to read that I enjoyed.

But I would still choose the xenophilia advanced story over this.

It's not stopped! I'm not abandoning it. It's not officially on hiatus either; I'm hoping to get back to it within the next week or so. Advanced and Blank Plague hit me with a double-whammy of inspiration and I couldn't get into Fallout: Equestria headspace while I had Leroverse on the brain. Thanks for reading in any case!

To let you know that I have been enjoying your storys. Grate peas of fiction. I do hope you keep writing New chapter and storys.

On this one, I do have some questions. If Equestria has been destroyed and Princess Celestia and Luna are dead, who makes the sun and moon rise and set each day?

If you're reading Heartless, then I assume you've already read Fallout: Equestria, or else some references might not make much sense sooner or later. If you haven't read that one yet, you might want to. It's a good read on its own. Your question is answered in there. But, if you don't want to read all the way through that, answer below.

In the Fallout: Equestria chronology, without Luna and Celestia to regulate them, the sun and moon continue moving on their own. However, they are not visible from the surface of Equestria, which is covered in an eternal layer of clouds. The pegasi, who keep that cloud cover up, have been able to see the increasingly erratic patterns of the sun and the moon, including seeing both in the sky at the same time. It seems likely that once the cloud cover is removed and peace comes to Equestria, the unicorns may re-learn the pre-Celestia methods of controlling the sun and the moon.

Re-discover is probably closer to the truth, there probably aren't even records of how it worked.
