Oh god... I just realized, Majora's mask... the destruction sealed within the moon.
So, given what Majorra looked like in the comic, does that mean it's the draconequus mask? Because it sort of looked like one.

Wait... that doesn't seem right... In Majora's mask the Tunic System worked in that the outfit's that Link wore transferred between bodies but, with subtle differences. (The Stem on the Deku's head was replaced by a bush in his hat's shape. The Zora had a Hat shaped crest and so on.)
Edit: For Dalton's Pony form I'd recommend either a Mask or something like that for his cutie mark.

However, I'm not going to make the story exactly like Majora's mask, just following it's guidelines with a few of my own twists. Besides, this way can be used to Dalton's advantage (which will be explained in further chapters).
A mask for a cuite mark is a great idea!
I'm still deciding on a cuite mark for Dalton, so I'll take any ideas for consideration.

I would like to see the three Hero's Masks appear in the story though. (Deku, Goron, Zora.) Or at least have Dalton learn a way to gain new form mask. (Song of Healing perhaps?)
The mask mark should be the MASK OF TRUTH (Because it's one of the few non-power masks that has a really cool shape.)

I do plan on making Dalton learn how to make a form mask, but that's probably going to come later in the story (way later, like perhaps in a sequel if I can't fit it into this story).
The mask of truth does appeal to me, but I don't see how it's Dalton's special talent.

Well, the Mask of the Truth was also the logo for the happy mask shop in Ocarina of Time. (The Salesman of said shop was the one who taught you the song of healing.)

This was a... Interesting fic. A lot of questions don't make sense. If he was a ghost the whole time then why do we see his psyche. If it was to be related to a theory ( a game theory.) about link being dead the whole time then that makes even less sense 'cause we didn't see him go through the D. A. B. D. A. Phase when someone dies at all, so all I got was and I quote

faces. I would've liked to see a sequel how he died to begin with... Hey! How did he make that journal.
What about the fourth mask? What about the Deity mask? What about properly dealing with Majora? Argh! So frustrating when an author leaves a story right in the middle of telling it and calls it complete. It's like watching the Two Towers and only a quarter of the way through, all of a sudden, Frodo gets on the boat to the eastern isles and all of his friends are seeing him off.
