Moshimoshi! I am Yuriko Matsui, or for some if not all of you as Yuriko Omega, the Empire of the Rising Sun's most venerable Psi-commando. And the only one there will ever be.
But this little tale isn't about my life, in Japan anyway. This is about the time I went to a place filled with beings that possessed my powers, with more knowledge and control then I will ever have after a little raid at one of Futuretech's facilities.
This is about my last day there, and the last few things I will have with the Princess and her ponies who taught me the ways to control my powers and even teaching me some new ones. But what was the most important thing they gave me back, you might ask?
Some humanity, and I'm happy for that.

Wel holy shit the girl from red alert 3 she was a badass.
I love a good C&C/MLP fic, especially a Red Alert one, and this is no exception.
Though I sadly do not own Uprising, I had to read this story nonetheless. I would say that it was a treat to read, the little names Yuriko gives the ponies is clever, even if it is just her speaking her native toungue. My favorite part, the flashback of the battle with the Allieds of course. The only thing I didn't quite like about that is that our favorite professional volunteer, Tanya Adams, didn't make an explicit appearance (assuming exploding buildings do not qualify as explicit).
Now that you mentioned that you can explain how psionics and magic are supposedly connected, I am curious. I personally don't quite see it, from what is expressed regarding psionics in Red Alert, all that really be done is psychokinesis, or in Yuri's case, mind control. Perhaps there are a few similarities, but it still sounds far-fetched at best, so yeah, I would love to hear about your little essay.
I found a small error.
Yuriko is a psionic commando.
Yuri from Red Alert 2 is a psychic commando.
Other than that, this was really good. It really touched me at the end.
Well there were more bloodier options.
