It's actually a combination. I had the idea, but as I listened to the song one night, I got to thinking, with a few tweaks this song can be the theme of the story's beginning. So it was actually a happy coincidence. I spent quite a while modifying this story over the days before I started writing it, making it far more than the idea originally started. I'm very pleased with the results.

I don't know, Tara Strong is well known for having a great singing voice. But as far as this story is concerned, I was solely thinking of Twilight's ability, not her voice actor's, to sing such a song. I've already got more ideas for the next chapter brewing, and if you'll note the end of chapter 2, I've already got the foundation for chapter 3 set. Glad you enjoyed it so far!

As far as I can tell, she does do Twilight's singing voice, it sure sounds like her. The voice listed in the credits is most likely for the singer doing Twilight in the show's opening song. And if you need more proof of Tara Strong's singing voice watch Disney's "The Little Mermaid II - Return to the Sea", she is credited by her maiden name of Tara Charendoff. She does the voice and singing for Ariel's daughter Melody. It's one of her early voice acting roles. The other Voice actors of the main six can sing as well. Rairty's VA - Tabitha St. Germain and Fluttershy/Pinkie Pie's VA - Andrea Libman both were credited for singing songs in several of the G3 pony specials. I should know, lol, I have them all on DVD.

But all that aside, I'm really just glad you are enjoying the story! And thanks for the congrats. I was tickled to see it made it to the feature box! It made all that extra time I spent working on it worth it!

But I could swear the other VA's do their character's singing from the way they sang in G3, and it sounds just like Ashleigh Ball doing AJ and Rainbow's singing. Hmmm...perplexing. Really I was expecting some but-hurt people too moan and bitch about it being 2nd person. Now what? i can't read it because my family bothers me every hour, they think I'm doing something really stupid or something. Is this the end?

If there's d'awww moments, I don't care how smutty it gets. It may be cliche'd but I read this stuff for the plot. Stories that make me happy for the protagonists, rather than make me want to wank.

It's okay... Honestly though the romance was smeared on WAY TO THICK. One thing I can't stand is an overly love sick girlfriend. It just gets a little uneasy to handle after awhile. And the intimacy was brought on rather abruptly. Sorry, but the love sick Twilight was a deal breaker for me.

I don't know if this has been said yet, but i need to say it. I am a large fan of 2nd person fics especially the shipfics w/ twilight, but this one seems lacking a little. It's great and i love it but there is no challange or angst here. Maybe i'm just used to more of that in shipfics, but I don't think so. Again i bloody love this and it's beautifully written. It just seems like everything is working out too well and things are going to smoothly for it to be realistic. Well i'm just rambling now. Anyway still earned a like and fav from me. Keep up the good work.

Sidenote: While I don't see a good use in this story, "Lucy" by Skillet is an increadible song. A tad bit on the tradgic side, but inspiring enough for me to write a fanfic about it. It's name being "Hey Steel" should you want to read it. I wish I could suggest a "happier" song.

It's mostly because I've read so many fics where the mare is on the bottom, so I thought it would be a nice change of pace. Also in some of my fics, like my 2nd Redheart fic and my Nightmare Moon fic, it worked out better to do the scene that way due to the circumstances of the story. One of the reasons I decided to make this a multiple chapter story is so "you" and Twilight can experiment with positions in the bedroom. Traditionally the "missionary" position is used in many stories, sometimes almost to death.

It's a fic of a type I really like, but there's no conflict at all. The characters got together, and there are no obstacles here for them to overcome. This would have been better as a oneshot.

Very sweet and well done. You nailed it with both songs. Although wouldnt Selena's "I could fall in love with you" been a better choice?

Firstly, I was actually a bit confused - I thought it would be like the Celestia fic where they first meet eachother and the moment is still far off...but it was actually like "More Than Their Customer" where they already know each other and get down to it within the first big chapter....and than comes the dating in the second chapter - I thought it would be the other way around, date first, sex later

But it was wonderful, it really was....once again, the power of massages () comes through and I'm not surprised that Twilight would send herself into a frazzle trying to sort out her feelings for this "me". The second chapter was, however, chock full of the endearment I was looking for ....my gosh, you even topped it off with a song from Selena - I haven't heard her in such a long time, and I grew up with her songs in my house which my mother would play all the time: I immediately recognized the song lyrics

It's late on my end, and I want to be able to leave something actually substantial - so I'm actually going to leave a second review tomorrow if I can, to try and leave down some more thoughts, because, as you'd expect, I really like what I see
