Rarity knew feeling this wasn't right. She couldn't concentrate on anything else. Sometimes it was okay to put what you want first wasn't it? Maybe just this once she could, but is the risk worth what she really wants.

This story doesn't make much sense. Why would Twilight be relieved to hear Rarity isn't in love with Shining? That means he threw away his marriage for nothing.

This story is extremely short! I wish that you described what happened. Also, you made the story sound completely different in the description. I do like it, it`s just that I couldn`t get into it. Also, this story shouldn`t be labeled sad. I do like the idea though! You should play this out a little more! I bet that if you try this could really become a nice story.
