Ah so this is on here now? This was a good solid mini adventure story.
One thing I will say for it is that it's one of the only fics I know of that uses the Mare Do Well episode canon constructively and sensibly.

Very cute stuff. Though Twilight needs to lighten up on the lecturing thing. It was great for the wyvern but when she started doing it to Four Colours it just felt kinda annoying.

Almost episodic. Heck, they've brushed the subject of mortality; this could very nearly work as an earlier episode of the show, and I mean that as a compliment. Great character work, great antagonist, and a deeply satisfying conclusion. Thank you for it.
