I loved this story. The title was retroactively brilliant, and that last line from Rainbow was one of the most powerful perfectly-in-character line for Rainbow I've seen.
I came for Flutterdash shipping and for once I'm totally fine that it's friendshipping instead. This was an incredibly moving story, especially with that last line. On the lighter side of things:

Wow. Very feels-y, but that just makes it an even nicer read. As a heart transplant patient, it hit me pretty deeply, too. Immunosuppression (anti-rejection drugs and whatnot) can cause a lot of issues post-transplant, that's why I've gotta be careful.
And Rainbow's last line of the story. Dammit, if that doesn't solidify her loyalty, I dunno what does. Awesome job with this one.
