This story is a sequel to Revelations: The Dark Void
Five long years ago, according to Twilight's math, she entered a plane called the Dark Void, a place meant only for the deceased. Each day, she scoured through the multiple books of her dream library, trying her hardest to find anything related to this realm of existence.
Sadly, none of her books have any mention of the place, so she begins to feel that escape is ultimately impossible. Accepting that she is stuck there, she goes to sleep and attempts to dream herself away from this world that she put herself in. For days on end she just sleeps her days away, hoping that one of her dreams will allow her to be free from this realm.
Only some of the dreams show a hint of sunlight; brilliance from somewhere out in the Dark Void.
So it begins! Twilight's epic odyssey journey to home!

I hope for this sequel we get to see Mystica's reaction to being back in Equestria after over a thousand years. Do the rest of the Mane 6 feel resentful towards her due to the fact that Twilight had to sacrifice herself to get Mystica out. Has hers and Celestia's relationship strained over Celly willingly giving up her current student to rescue her favorite student against Mystica's wishes? Hopefully we'll be finding out the answers to these questions while Twilight's finding her own way back to Equestria.

I really don't like Mystia, it really seems as if Twilight was "second-best". Celestia loves Mystia like a daughter, her friends accept her really easily. Meanwhile, Twilight has been all but forgotten, even though she gave up her life for someone else. I dunno, it just seems like Twiley was raised just to bring back Mystia, even though Twilight has more to lose...
I don't know why but it's hard for me to like Mystia. She just came in and replaced Twilight. She's the Element of Magic now, has all of Twilight's friends, is Celestia's most favorite student. Basically, I agree with upper person. ^
