Silver Lining, or at least that's what this human is calling himself, has been living behind glass his whole life. No one can hear him, see him, or even feel his presence, but he can see Twilight Sparkle and he's been watching her through the glass since she came to Ponyville for the first time. Until he meets her...Queen Chrysalis who somehow knew about the glass. Chrysalis explains to Silver Lining that he is dead and that she'll give him a new life by turning him into a pony... but on one condition: Silver Lining serves her as her loyal dog and do whatever she says.
