After a decisive loss in an arranged Space Battle, the crew of the Black Mambo are forced to part with their old modified airship as a trophy for their opponent. Basically left stranded in Equestria, they must find a way to make a return to their usual travels but, with no money and access to adequate parts, they may not be able to go anywhere outside of Equestria without help.

So, how do the crew cope with such conditions? Enter Discord! The one being with the power to make materials appear with a fingersnap!(And convince Blueblood to 'donate' bits.) The crew may use these parts to build a new ship but there's a catch: Parts brought by Discord must be earned through work and good deeds so it will take time and effort.

Everyday the crew will be tested in some way or other to earn funds and ship parts: A variety of jobs and tasks, missions involving some risk, the curious CMC, a Black Pirate captain and crew, Topsy Turvy, a "Great evil", the weather, and everyday life.
