You know what I think?
All this talk of "purity" sounds really strange, and even a little insulting to most of humanity. Besides, there's war in Equestria as well- the last time Canterlot was invaded is only a few years back at most.
No, I think the "purity", in this case, refers to the ties that bind a particular human to his or her home.
Think about it: If the Princesses brought a human to Equestria who wants to come at first, but soon grows homesick... that sort of misery could surely be called "impurity", no?
well... that was a strange story. good but strange.
as someone commented the "purity" was over used and could have been avoided ... "you have been chosen... now deal with it" not "because of you "purity" "
but i it is a good story, so far i do wait for the next chapter to see how it develops so as far as i go now worth reading and waiting to read more.
Thanks for the feedback guys :3 I can't say much about the whole "purity" thing yet, and I admit at second glance it does appear a bit cliche. I suppose all I can say for now is that a child molester or a thief or just a hateful person in general would lack the prerequisite to be able to enter Equestria. This would prevent Luna from accidentally picking the next serial killer or what not by her subjective judgement. Buuuut the definition of "purity", at least as far as this story is concerned, has a more complex meaning than that, which will be explained in detail later. For now, its not something to get bogged down about

But no, the definition, at least as it's explained now, deals more with morals than anything else. But as I commented earlier, the definition, as far as this story goes, is more complex than that. So don't get all bogged down and confused by the terminology, for now just take the word to mean what it says- being a moral and good person alltogether.

3270879 That's a good question. I probably shouldn't say too much about it because I don't want to spoil anything, but this topic will come up later, trust me
There will be more discussion about the whole ordeal between Alex, Luna, Celestia, and Twilight further along so don't worry if some concepts seem a bit vague so far, they will certainly be expounded upon in the future.
Rather interesting story. Ill have to keep popping in every once in awhile. Hopefully more chapters shall be out at said moments of searching for an interesting story to take my time. Great story filled with interestingness. I tip my imaginary hat to you.
3272638 Thanks! I'm actually gonna be finished with the next chapter probably tomorrow night after I'm finished proofreading it and making any final minor corrections. Other than that, I try my best to make a new chapter each week. The only thing that interferes with that of course is my 6 college classes, so if I'm ever late uploading a chapter, that's probably the culprit
